I am going to Cartagena in March I will be solo and it's my first time. I have done research and been on this forum for the last six months and you guys are extremely helpful. I am going to enjoy the city but will by all means be mongering. I know the stupidness that's been going on to almost ruin the beautiful situation and I have common sense enough to move like somebody should. I just need a trusted contact that can show me the do's and don'ts of the place I understand a fee more than likely is involved and that's cool just want to be safe and enjoy the mongering and do it responsibly. If any one can help me it will be much appreciated.
Don't worry, they not going to be back. They prob the same ones who won't get vaccinated. They won't be allowed back into Colombia so they'll go right back to Sosua to make it rain there.

We rented a 2-bedroom condo from Juan, in Laguito, for $90 US per night. The condo was all right for our purpose, next to the beach and chica friendly. Some minor inconveniences only.What were the minor inconveniences?
My wingman and I spent a few days in Cartagena, and here are some of our observations:.If the taxis charged you more than 8 K to get from El Laguito to Centro and vice versa then they got you. How much did you pay?

Trying to make connection with chicas in December for March can be a disappointment. I say usually plan 2 weeks in advance out with chicas this way they don't start asking for stuff before you get there like a new fridge, couch, mom is sick etc.
What were the minor inconveniences?1. The elevators were messed up. They had 2 of them but only one was working. However, when going down we could not take it at our floor. We had to walk down 2 floors, to the 10th floor, in order to request the damn elevator. And, we had to explain that to every chick who visited us.
2. The safe did not function properly. The maintenance guy had to come in twice to fix it. By the time he fixed it, we did not feel confident about locking our stuff in there.

Captain Solo first post was a red flag for me-- and we try to steer people in the right direction and there's a lot of great information on the site but let's face it not everybody is as experienced and people are going to make mistakes. Maybe over and over again?I know that's right. Allegedly stolen from in Cartagena and in Medellin making the same mistakes during an alleged encounter. I guess some people don't chica-proof their rooms and accommodations. You would think doing research would mitigate circumstances but obviously it doesn't work with everybody that allegedly has issues.

From 9 AM to 6 PM, the 2-story red buses run a scenic round trip from a stop in front of the Clock Tower, around Boca Grande, stops at many spots, including the McDonalds on San Martin, Hilton hotel, San Fernando old fort, with narratives in many languages and a guided tour of the Walled City from the Clock Tower at 4 PM everyday. You can expect a bus every 45 minutes. They have agents waiting at many major stops. These people are laid back. I am pretty sure you can flag it down anywhere along its route, not just at the official stops. Just show them your receipt to get on.
It costs 25 M Cops for 1 and 45 M cops for 21 days. Considering a taxi ride from Boca Grande to the Clock Tower would cost 10 - 15 M Cops, it's a good deal, a slower but more relaxed way to see the sights and learn more about Cartagena besides just eating pussies in the hotel. I took it for 2 days and came back to visit the Walled City and Fort San Fernando both days.
To get some cool air, sit on the lower level. The bus roof was dragging on many electrical / telephone cables and tree branches across many streets. Don't know when something will blow up in Cartagena hehe.

In Cartagena, we had to haggle the fare for every ride, paying 10-15 M cops between Boca grande and the clockmaker tower, depending on traffic.
In Medellin, all my taxi rides were metered, some cheaper than Uber. Taxis are usually old, cramped, crappy, smelly; drivers usually are aggressive and seem psychotic.
Uber cars are usually new the nice, good smelling, drivers older to nice, mellow, polite and more careful. But many times in El Centro, the wait times were long, over 25 minutes. I would have to hop in the nearest taxi and cancel Uber.

The Vennie girl from clock tower purposely caused diversion, asking for a beer in the room to steal from me. I should have checked her hand bag before she left.
The Lleras girl had very fishy pussy when she popped, the condom was stinking so bad I had to remove it quickly. We keep saying Colombia is not the same as the rest of the mongering places, apples to oranges. We have to move differently, build trust, and know whose who. I pull Venezuelans all the time never had a problem. I had 1 snafu on my last trip and it was handled in 5 minutes, no police needed and nothing went missing.
We can't just pull random chicks from the street and bring them into the apartment without precautions. Even when we do it we always make sure one of us have a girl that we've done business before, and she makes sure the new chica knows what's up.
If you ever decide to go back to Colombia, you have a good bad experience to learn from where you can improve for the next visit.

I had money taken from my pants pocket two times in Philippines. I always carry local currency only. Both times it was on the day girl was leaving after staying with me few days. I had kept the currency out to give it to them. One took 1000 and the other one took 2000 pesos. After I came back from the shower I counted the money to give to the girl. They probably thought I would not notice. In the end they left with the same amount of money I intend to give them. After that I lock up everything in the box even if it is local money. Only take it out when going out.
I had girlfriends in Thailand and China who never touched my money. In fact when we go out I would put money in their purse and they paid all the bills. In Philippines also I had good girls who never touched anything. All other countries nobody ever scammed me.
Two normal girls I met in Atlantic City and had fun with tried to open my safe deposit box messing it up while I was in the shower. They saw me winning lots of money. When confronted they naturally denied it. I kicked them out without giving any money to them. In the end they lost out.

It's obvious both girls in CTG and Medellin intended and planned to steal from the start. I can only conclude that the bros should be warned of very high risks of theft in Colombia.
OTOH giving the girls allowances and let them treat you to whatever local flavors is a very good ideas. Girls in China and Hong Kong took me to some of the best locals' food and entertainment places that costed very little money.

Dec 5 through Dec 10 I was hanging out with a few wingmen, old timers in Colombia, at P Lleras in Medellin, telling them how my phone was stolen by a Venezuelan girl a few days before in Cartagena.
They left MDE and flew to CTG a few days later, rented a 2-bedroom apartment together. A wingman, very nice, generous guy, invited a girl into his bedroom after midnight. I just heard from the other wingman that he was drugged and robbed of money, phones, lots of valuable stuff.
Apartment management convinced them not to report and prosecute the crime as they feared they would lose their jobs. The wingmen have not reported this very serious security breach anywhere. I only heard what happened to this guy today. I am guessing a lot of other guys got drugged and robbed in Colombia but have not reported them due to various potential personal issues. They are encouraging and helping the crooked, evil putas in Colombia to drug more and steal more with impunity.
The bros are urged to be very careful with the drugging and stealing snakes in Colombia and fight back as hard as they can when victimized.

In contrast, I have been to Colombia twice, had women over for the evening and / or overnight in Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena; I've never had anything stolen. Also on the point around the quality of the women, I think you're either looking in the wrong places or again, you've been really unlucky. Even looking at the photoprepagos website, there are a fair number of very attractive girls to choose from. Try a bit harder in seeking or tinder, there's enough to keep anyone going to months.
Colombia is a fantastic country and there is easy access to some absolutely beautiful women for a very reasonable price and even for free if you play it right. Whilst you're experience wasn't good, I think your opinion of Colombia is in the minority. But to be honest, I prefer it if less visited Colombia.

Essential update for anyone considering on coming to Cartagena in the next few weeks. You will have to show proof of vaccination to enter Colombia. Unvaccinated non-resident foreign travelers will not be allowed to enter. Arrived last night, expected a big Saturday night party crowd. The police have cracked down on the clock tower scene, very few girls were around in what used to be ground zero for hunting. The scene here has definitely changed from a month ago. The girls that were out on Saturday appeared to be taking a lap around the block walking past the trifecta of prominent nightclubs that are still working, Dolce Vita, Space, and Delirium. The police wouldn't allow the girls to stand outside for almost any length of time and seemed to be constantly running them off. The clubs were still busy and filled with girls. Nightclubs closed at 3 am. There is no shortage of women to be found here. It's just not as easy as it used to be.

Definitely lots of police as previously stated they seem to be corralling the girls away from the families at clock tower. Had drinks in all 3 of the famous clubs. Delirium had A terrible selection seemed like a hangout for 16 year old kids to drink. Space was a little busier but zero talent. Dolce Vita was by far the best with the most selection of quality girls. Unlucky for me I finally went in at 10 pm and the 4 best talent had made their deals and we're heading out the door during my first beer. Will report back tomorrow. Really wish they had a strip club here thought I had heard la Isla was making one a few years ago but have seen no reports of it.

The reason I prefer seeing it in a bikini first is to spot the baby damage etc. Taking a couple girls from gustos and other places and the fantasy was ruined once they took their clothes off it's part of the reason certain girls don't work at a strip club and prefer the pickup bars.

Vehicular circulation is also prohibited in the corridors of Avenida Blas de Lezo, from Avenida Santander and Paseo de Los Mártires, until Carrera 8 B, on December 31,2021, from 8 pm M. Until 12 am M.
Other measures.
Decree 1368 also prohibits the circulation of tourist cars on Friday, December 31,2021.

I arrived yesterday at the Dann Hotel with my Tomboy in tow. I had a reservation for an an Ocean View Room with an king size bed and a Balcony directly over the water. I had sent them E mails requesting a high floor room, they informed me that based on availability they could only give me a room on the 9th floor, but perhaps a higher floor the next day.
I showed them the E mails, and they said how about we give you a Suite with a Balcony on the 9th floor with no upcharge. So I said okay and upon entering the room there was a large living area, a big balcony, and a room with two small twin beds in it. , and an adjacent bathroom. I went back downstairs to reception and said I wanted a room with a king size bed, and they had a puzzled look on their faces, and said there was a room with a king Size bed and had somebody take us back up to the room, and apparently what looked like a closet door was the entry to the Master Bedroom with a bathroom as well. I have always stayed in a higher floor room, about fifty to seventy feet higher, but I actually like the view from the lower level. Also, the former EXITO across the street was converted into a Caruilla Express and better organized.
Having a great day here today, that started with an Ocean swim, some bodysurfing, a morning session, breakfast, a walk thru the Old City, and a walk around the fort on the Hill. Cartagena is growing on me as it is very different than Bogota or Medellin and has much more of a European feel to it with all tourists I suppose, but is still very different. As far as a mongering destination, well it's on the bottom of venues in Colombia as far as I am concerned, but can be lots of fun with someone you get along well with and can chill out with.

I think they made a mistake banning the ladies from the Reloj where they could keep an eye on them. Now they are all over El Centro near their clubs and bars and sometimes are a real nuisance when you are walking by. It used to be that you would never see the girls on the streets leading to Plaza Madrid from Reloj. If you were walking there at midnight, it was usually deserted. On my last visit in Mid October, they set up a gauntlet walking back to my hotel. Most of them appear to be scammers, fuglies, and Vennies.

Also, the former EXITO across the street was converted into a Caruilla Express and better organized.I was in there early December. The layout fees the same to me from when it was Exito Express. The only difference I noticed was they had all the beers stacked up on the left as soon as you walk in. I still had to end up going to Exito in Centro because they didn't have any small bottled water only the large ones. Also liked they were open late even though the doors are locked. Just tell them what you want through the little window hand them the cash or card and they will pass it through the window. Came in handy one night I needed ice and more coronas. Good store to make quick grabs of things when needed. Sometimes it can be slow even though they are a few check out registers they only usually have 1 open and everyone is waiting on line.
The touts no longer hang out in front of hotel Dan and now moved a little down by the emerald store and directly in front of Poseidon. Hopefully its not raining while you are there, that's a bad area to get out of as that exit street floods real high.

I don't do any recruiting or contracts I work the immigration law side. They did not have any administrative Judges to hold hearings. The guy threw the letter away and never heard anything. This was about 10 years ago. I have no recent information, and this is second hand information from the guy who brought the Fedors book back. And these are purely my dreams, I will not admit to anything. Normally the customs officers in Nassau don't have time or care.

This forum has set-up everything one needs to find information without applying restrictions other than what the admin has list on that page or post. They even put in a good Advanced Search Feature, to be used to find information and if that do not help just ask the question to the forum yourself and I know someone will give you an answer or tell you where you can find what you are looking for. My search of the forum just shows me you had this same complaint in what "2017" The admin does enough to make it easy to find any information you need and should do nothing more here.

One poster said the Clock Tower Pub does not turn on the sound just visual. Hard Rock Cafe also mentioned. Keep in mind that this can all be dependent on what kind of soccer games may be going on. If you are in Laguito, one poster said that the Hilton Hotel has a sports bar.

Recently stayed at the Ermita Hotel which is about a 5 min walk to the walled city or a 10 k cab ride. The hotel had all the amenities you could ask for. The Gym had everything you could need for a good workout I. E Treadmills, free weights, smith machine, yoga mats, & bicycle. The best part was security was very welcoming to our guests. We were a party of 5 and each night we paraded 5-6 women after hours and they let them right in after taking their info down. The security even wanted to hook me up with a Chica he knew. I'm pretty sure he would have taken a cut of whatever was given. They even helped order pizza / wings around 3 am. Clock Tower Pub definitely has games, but you may have to ask the manager. Definitely no sound which I think is better anyway. They will be able to show all the playoff games that's for sure what you may need to ask. As far as the Hilton I was not able to confirm this because I just like the view out of the Clock Tower pub, assuming the girls are back after New Year.
The other thing is that ESPN sports has a lot of the games also on cable so you may be able to get it right in your hotel or Airbnb whatever.

Does anybody know if there is a bar in CTG where you can watch the NFL?I will just toss this out there. I was looking for a way to watch American TV in Colombia. I remembered that the issue with copyright is having the files with shows. As TV signals are beamed through the air, live streams do not have copyright protection. So devices that capture streams is legal, and there is one here. It works as advertised.

If you have internet, hdmi cable, and a TV, you can watch any of the US stations by downloading an app on this device called bluTV. I was watching bowl games in Colombia with ESPN, Dexter on Showtime, and have literally every channel there is. So you watch games on the Fox or CBS outlet ETC.
The only downside is I cannot record anything, but I think I can figure out a way to do that. Anyway, it is the best way to bring American TV with you not just to Colombia but anywhere there is internet.
I am not sure if this is available for sale in Colombia but it would be interesting if you can find something like it.

But I'm not here for long and I really didn't feel like arguing so the first guy who said sit down I'll bring you chicas beer and seafood I just figured why not. 3 beers, 4 mixed drinks, a plate of shrimp and a spot under an umbrella with my chica came out to. 410 mil!? That's what I would expect to pay in a first world country but since I'the already ate and drank everything I just paid the man. I feel like at the absolute most it should have been 150. The chica, on the other hand was not a rip off at all. Young and gorgeous came out to 300. She came to the hotel surprisingly they asked no questions. Not sure if it's chica friendly always but it definitely felt that way. Right on the beach and 40 bucks a night, not bad at all although it is rather out the way. 1 M COP can be fair if that includes her round-trip flight, but find out what time she will arrive to be with you and what time she is leaving. The reason I say find out the time is because I've encountered new girls in CTG who I ask to come for the night and their thought process is they will show up at midnight and leave at 8 am, if I want them to show up earlier they want more money. Fare rules say no change, no refund. I was scared about becoming positive and sent a e mail saying so to American. They allowed me one time change. Becoming positive has its own challenges in a foreign country till you come back.
In this forum we not only talk about fun with girls we talk about immigration, restaurants, travel options, hotels etc and I am sure administrators agree with me.

As another member has replied, that bloke apparently has a personal issue and I would typically just ignore such a person and not give him the courtesy of a response.
I only share from my personal experience and other readers can decide how they want to use this information. Travelling internationally during the era of covid is definitely challenging logistically. Vaccination is not a guarantee from covid infection as some readers have attested but it does help reduce that risk. Not being able to fly back to US if tested positive is definitely a big headache. It is in the back of my mind when I was overseas, and I need to have a contingency plan should it happen.
For asymptomatic scenario, walking across the US border from Mexico, such as from Tijuana, is an option since there is no test requirement to enter via land as far as I know. Morally, it is a gray area. Another option is just to ride it out in the hotel until one recovers and be tested negative again so that one can fly back to the US. Such additional expenses can be covered with a travel insurance. You may be right that insurance can be a minefield but it can still be helpful as a risk mitigation.
I like SEA too as my destination but currently it is just way too much of a hurdle just to get there. At least Colombia is not far from the US which still makes the whole thing manageable in my view.

Got a negative test this morning and flying home first class tomorrow. What a relief. A 9 night trip turned into 18 with 2 positive tests. I'm 64, very healthy and boosted. Didn't get that sick, it was like a moderate cold. Basically just a sore throat and felt bad. I've been much worse off from the flu. Had to be omicron. I must say that if you get covid in Cartagena the Intercontinental in a superior room is the place to ride it out. Just had a great swim in the pool and an awesome meal from the grill they set up at the pool and I feel great now. The food is good here and room service is cheap and fast. First bit of fun I've had in 8 days. Booked the trip in Nov before omicron hit. I knew this could happen and moving to the Intercontinental was plan be all along. Its right next to the tower where I had an airbnb and I had scoped it out on my first trip to CTG 2 years ago right before the disaster of covid. Been wanting to get here ever since and did not want to cancel. I must say with the testing and all the stupid online forms and such you have to fill out international travel is very problematic now. Spent 2 days in the JW in Panama then went here. I went into the Oz this morning and asked. YES it is visitor friendly "no problema" but only one visitor at a time. Works for me. Sure, no place is completely safe but just be smart and you should be OK.
By contrast, Bocagrande and Getsemani are full of other tourists, which of course brings tourist traps and hustlers, and someone that wants to find a tourist to take advantage of will more likely be there looking for an opportunity.

Very slim chance your hotel is going to allow chicas come to your room. You need to investigate the love hotels. Once you find a chica they can direct you to a love hotel. Be safe though and do not go for any chicas that want to do a threesome. Two chicas is when most people get robbed. If you want to find the best selection of chicas I strongly advise going to Dolce Vita, the selection in casas is not comparable to Dolce Vita. Very few places in the western hemisphere are comparable really. Maybe in Brazil I have heard and a few places in Bogotal I have also heard but still Dolce Vita is a night clup filled with working chicas and many of them are beautiful. Dolce Vita is searchable on google maps. It is on Carrera 6 (aka Calle del Porvenir) between Calle 35 and Calle 36).
I have not been to Cartagena in almost a year. I am not sure about what is going on in the Clock Towere area. It was a last minute change in our itinerary due to the flight reschedule. Hence did not do much research on Cartagena.
The first available Hilton brand hotel near airport is this one and ended up taking it as this allows early check in as we are landing in around 8 am and most of the hotels will make you wait until noon to check in.
As another member suggested, probably will stick to either Dolce Vita or any suggested casa for quick deed instead of following chica suggested love motels to avoid surprises.

One Day In Cartagena.
Be psychologically prepared to ignore the onlsaught of hustlers and hawkers on the beach. Be very prudent about ordering you own drinks at the kiosks on the beach to avoied gettind scammed.
Looks like this Hampton By Hiilton is in the heart of Boca Grande on the corner of Carrera 2 and Calle 8 (Carrera 2 is the main strip). For the best lunch there is a Colombian chain I would describe as upscale casual. Its called Crepes & Waffles (do not let the name confuse you they are not a breakfast joint LOL) they have a huge menu and there desserts are rich. It is located exactly one block north east is Crepes & Waffles on the same side of the street (Carrera 2) just before you cross Calle 9. Easy to miss becase of the trees blocking the building. You have walk around the corner and the entrance is on Calle 9.
A popular thing to do is to go watch the sunset at a little bar / restaruant called Cafe Del Mar, that over looks the ocean. It was built on one of the wide cannon defense positions on the wall that is the furthest point juttting out of the peninsula. It also gives and awesome view of the Bocagrande skyline as the sunset reflects on the glass and steel.
The best food in Cartagena is seafood because it is caught fresh. And one of the best restaruants for both food and ambiance is San Pedro Cafe Mirador Restaurante. You can eat outside if you want and it sits on Plaza de San Pedro Claver. Cartagena is popular because of its Spanish Colonial architecture and this restuarant is located one of the finest and most preserved of these buildings and just across from the Iglesia de San Pedro Claver which is a church that is over 400 years old and scattered around the plaza are metal sculptures.

I second the suggestion for Getsemani. Cool place and the murals are amazing. Its best viewed in the early morning around 7 am when there aren't many vendors and the murals aren't blocked. Food is wonderful there too.

On the other hand it got so damn crowded that they literally shut the place down from visitors for about two years because the damage to the ecology was so bad. I think the pandemic prolonged it also but was closed for about 4 years.

If you ride on the East part of the Bocagrande peninsula, there is not as much traffic. Manga is usually not too bad once you get on the island, and when you go through the walled part of the city, I think it is the best way to go, better than walking or a cab.

I read in a newspaper down here that 300 moto riders die in accidents every month in Medellin alone. Driving down here isn't for the faint of heart, and I definitely wouldn't recommend a moto of any kind. If you're not planning on exploring from town to town and plan to stay in Cartagena, cabs are cheap, plentiful, and far, far safer.

Now that I've visited Cartagena a second time just to make sure I didn't judge too quickly or harshly, I have to say that I really don't like Cartagena. Parts of the city, especially the old city, are truly beautiful, and there are some nice beaches on the islands. Other than that, this is just a high priced tourist trap where everything is priced two to three times the rest of the country. I started out in Barranquilla this time- a cheaper flight from FLL than Cartagena, and found both the lodgings and chicas a great bargain. Very nice hotel rooms for the $30-50 range with plenty of decent Colombian family hotels in the $10-20 range. Lots of spas and casas, as well as beau coups of agencies and independents, with prices ranging from $40 k COP for 20 min up to about $150 k for an hour of top shelf cooter. Barranquilla is a port town, and you know how those sailors like their chicas. They’re not only cheaper, but far more appreciative of the occasional propina. Not only that, Barranquilla is the culinary capital of Colombia- there are probably twice as many restaurants there as Cartagena, and they're all cheaper and better. FWIW, the beaches at Santa Marta and Rodadero are much better and an easy rental car drive from BQA.
Other than that, Medellin is still the Gold Standard. I meant to check out Bucaramanga, which seems a bit like Barranquilla economically, but it'll have to wait. Save your money and go just about anywhere other than Cartagena.

Cartagena was my original destination for my first visit to Colombia. I didn't know much of the country, but Cartagena'a beautiful weather made it seem like a natural choice. However, after doing my research here and other sites, I realized it was a very limited city compared to Medellin and Bogota. The beaches are not nice, which kinda defeats the purpose of going to a coastal city. And there's not much else to do in between getting laid.

Them more recently I read that Venezuelans can go and register (does not say anything about needing a passport to get temporary residence but you would think they need some ID) I know this is probably too late information for but I am not sure that the Vennies are even aware of this.

For the first part of your question, look on Airbnb and filter the options for your need. Be prepared to spend about $700 a night. You haven't given any timeframe for this event so availability of property is vague.
For the second part of your question that's another vague one. 6 - 8 non pros? Sure I know plenty of 35 year old moms in CTG that will love to show up to your Batchlor party. Everyone have preferences and asking for something without stating what your looking for, anything can show up, even the hombres con tetas jajaja.

I could never really differentiate the two. I know there are girls that go to the discos every night looking for gringos and I would definitely call them pros. Then there are those that I meet from Stores, restaurants, supermarket, I get their whatsapp number or instagram and I see based on their post history they have regular jobs everything is normal work things or family but the first time I ask "Quiero verte" they always respond back with "cuanto pagas". So I refer to those as semi-pro.
For a Batchlor party maybe OP wants semi pros because at the end of the night they will be getting paid one way or another jajaja.
