Walk 2 blocks from the airport and the price is 5,000 mil cheaper to anywhere. Or get dropped off at the pharmacy store on the corner and walk the block to the airport. Taxi drivers pay 5,000 mil for the right to access the airport and pass it on to you.I agree. Don't get swindled by the airport taxi mafia. I usually walk to the intersection near the grocery store. I was also in Cartagena last December and again in March of this year. I was never quoted $300 usd, in the clubs. Another route they can take is use the stolen phone for parts to fix other phones. Screen replacements are a major business and these people crack their screens all the time.

But as Nypher explained there's just so many variables in pricing. Club girl vs street girl, location, quality of girl, status of the girl, have you sessioned with her before, time of the night, time of the week, Spanish speaking skills, etc.
From my 5 days experience you guys are looking at 250,000 give or take for short time and 600,000 give or take for long time (3 leches) - never pay upfront for Long time. Tell them you'll pay half if they demand the money upfront. What I used to do is just come into the clock tower plaza from the end were the Hard Rock Cafe is and start working the fringes. There is a set of benches on that end where I used to snag chicas from without having to actually walk up into the plaza. Directly in front of Hard Rock Cafe is restaurant style seating but get a little closer to the actual clock tower more in front of Tucandela and there are some benches. This was before though I could always find a cute one there for a decent price.

This thread is called Cartagean Reports because it is designed so people who have been there can Report their expiriences and then others can learn from that and maybe leave their experiences also so that more information accrues. That is why if you go to the front page of the forum (there is a button that says Front Page) scroll down to Forum Abbreviations. Click on the letter (R) and scroll down to RTFF and see that it means Read The Fucking Forum. It is an established abbreviation because it is an establsihed repsonse to those seeking something for nothing.
It is also not lost on the board members that you have not bothered to at least pay for a membership. That means you are what is disparagingly called a "lurker". Also people are more likely to share specific info like what you seek through PM and until you make enough reports to be a Senior Member or you pay for a membership then you do not have PM.

The first thing I want you to consider is that maybe you are in the wrong thread. This is the Cartagena Reports thread and yet under the heading of the Colombia forum there are many other threads and some that specialize in particular information. You can get back out to the Colombia forum by ulitizing the tree. I do not have the same graphics so my example looks a little different. Toward the upper left corner of this page you'll see something that looks similar to this: 🏡 Forum➡ South America ➡Colombia➡Cartagena Reports. Click on "Colombia" . Then scroll down past the "Reports" threads and search through the User Blogs. Seek and ye shall find.

There are only 2 hotels that I know of that accept visitors and I've mentioned them multiple times on this forum.
AirBB are more laxed BUT you have to do the due diligence and read the house rules. The house rules can make a good trip go bad.

Cartagena is not a great place for beginners because the logistics are so inconsistent. I would probably go with Juan's places, but the quality isn't great from what I've seen.

Just a quick warning, if the monger is taller than 5'9" they will hit their head when entering the upstairs bedroom that overlooks the living room. Flew out from Bogota and onto Cartagena last night for the weekend. Met up with my girl at CTG where she had flown in from another city who had landed a few minutes earlier than I did. I will consider that this is sometimes true. But these claims of guys getting better rates beccuase they are younger or because they speak spanish were never true in the past. Also let me elaborate on what I base my knowledge on since you referred to my writing that it is what is said by most people who post on this forum. I have been to Cartagena over a dozen times and I have met and talked to people of all ages and all sorts of ethnicities (I once had a 28 year old wingman who was of Indian descent but spoke perfect Spanish. Write some things down but I did not want to be seen reading off a paper so I memorized most. If she started talking and I couldn't understand then I would just repeat myself. Stating what I was willing to pay and for what services. I think it made me look stubborn so the chicas knew that because of my limited Spanish I would either accept yes or no. And there were times I walked away and the next chica knew for sure that I would walk away. There were way more chicas than mongers back then and it is a market like any other.

Never pay in dollars. The USD is rising relative to almost all currencies due to rising rates. The Colombian peso is as weak vs the dollar as it has been historically. Outside, a little cheaper, 250-350 k. Many girls you see in the clubs will also be walking the streets from club to club and posting up at the clock tower. I am sure the mid to lower range chicas will ask less. Many more chicas than mongers here. The hecklers are quite annoying. They ruin this destination as a top mongering spot. I have also noticed that the chicas performance can be very unpredictable. But over the last few years, there has been a sea change and not for the good. The Vennies seemed to have taken over the scene and the quality of the Colombiana has dropped significantly. Prices have increased and quality has come down and it seems the quality of the mongerer has also decreased. This seems to have had a negative effect on the various housing options in the city with many of the landlords or AIR hosts specifically not allowing visitors under any circumstances. In fact, I found only a few AIR places that did not specifically disallow visitors in my last review this morning. I suppose some jerkoff guy banging a chica on a second story veranda for all the world to see does not help ease this situation, as what occurred a few weeks ago.

However, I am taking note of your comments about El Centro. Unless I am with an amigo, I will probably not venture downtown until after I get my feet wet. I am not a rookie, as I consider myself to be a "moderately" experienced traveler in this space, but I know when to be cautious. (I have been to Thailand (Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket and Chang Mai), the DR (Sosua / PP, Santiago and Santa Domingo) Spain (Barcelona and Ibiza), Mexico (Tijuana and PDC) Kenya (Nairobi and Mombassa), Costa Rica (SJ and Jaco) and Medellin, Colombia. However, this being my first time in Cartagena, and I never forget that I have "gringo" pasted on my forehead, I have no spanish skills, and I am no longer the hunter (like back home) - I am the hunted.
When I go to new place, like I am now, I will frequently stay at multiple places just to get a feel for the various options. I will also overbook, so that I can make some changes once I see the City. There are times when I will end up paying for two different hotel rooms for the same night. (This is usually a cheap hotel, where I know I can bring someone home, and then another "nicer" hotel.) What I like about a good hotel is that it helps conjure a GFE. (Which is what I like.) It seems kind of silly to even try for the GFE when you have reserved 30,60 or even 120 minutes for a small room within 500 yards from where you first met the young lady. (Or maybe I have just never had that kind of GF. LOL) In any event, my biggest disappointment is not being able to get a top hotel and "know" that I can bring a guest home. Fortunately, I was able to score 4 nights (early in my trip) at a verified "guest friendly" ISG recommended apartment in a good location. (Very popular, and these were the only days available.) Afterwords, I have a reserved (I) a cheap love hotel where I know I can take someone and (ii) a pretty nice 4 - 4. 5 star hotel in Bocagrande. Plan: If I meet someone (in the first 4 days) who is worthy of a repeat experience, I might have them join me when I check into a new hotel mid-stay. Otherwise, I might cancel the reservation if it does look good.

I want to say that maybe because you have been to Medellin that the term El Centro is throwing you off. Unlike in Medellin where El Centro is the "downtown" or business district. In Cartagena "Centro" is the heart of the historic center of the tourist area. The only person likely to get killed there are the touts (by you!) when they just won't leave you alone. When he says it does not seem as safe as it did in the past he doesn't mean that people are getting stabbed like El Centro in Medellin, he just means the overall ambiance is just more overall sketchy than it used to be.
I seriously mourn for the Cartagena of ten and fifteen years ago but your right you will never know so it shouldn't matter to you. Whats there today is all that matters and it really is still better than most places in the western hemisphere. With a few exceptions in Colombia and Braziul it probably ranks the top 3- 4 places that has the greatest concentration of hot chicas for sale in a small area.
When I started going to Cartagena it was still a place where mostly Colombians would go for a vacation or a weekend, and I think the touts knew better than to harrass Colombians the same way they harrass gringos. I used be able to walk the length of old town and not get accosted, plenty of art sellers and mimes and all that but they were respectful. So now the touts are so fucking aggressive if someone bothered me that much in the states they might get a bloody nose. However, I am taking note of your comments about El Centro. Unless I am with an amigo, I will probably not venture downtown until after I get my feet wet. I am not a rookie, as I consider myself to be a "moderately" experienced traveler in this space, but I know when to be cautious. (I have been to Thailand (Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket and Chang Mai), the DR (Sosua / PP, Santiago and Santa Domingo) Spain (Barcelona and Ibiza), Mexico (Tijuana and PDC) Kenya (Nairobi and Mombassa), Costa Rica (SJ and Jaco) and Medellin, Colombia. However, this being my first time in Cartagena, and I never forget that I have "gringo" pasted on my forehead, I have no spanish skills, and I am no longer the hunter (like back home) - I am the hunted.
When I go to new place, like I am now, I will frequently stay at multiple places just to get a feel for the various options. I will also overbook, so that I can make some changes once I see the City. There are times when I will end up paying for two different hotel rooms for the same night. (This is usually a cheap hotel, where I know I can bring someone home, and then another "nicer" hotel.) My favorite restaurant in Cartagena was Di Silvio but I tried a new Italian place and liked it better. The name was Semolina, and it is in the Bocagrande Mall, and they have crazy quick service compared to the other restaurants I have gone to. Another real cool place to hang out and have food and drinks is Las Ramblas Mall. It is outside the city, and as Cartagena can be a little congested, this place is nice because it has plenty of space. Food, music, and drinks were also quite good out there. Persepolis in Bocagrande has good Persian food.
San Felipe castle has amazing views and check it out at sunset. You will be blown away at the beauty on a nice night.
Cartagena is a cool place but I would rank it fifth for mongering behind Bogota, Medellin, Cali, and Barranquilla. The women just wanted too much there IMO. I think the way you do Cartagena is to bring in a woman you like from another city, but that is just me.
Yes, I did not mean that I feared that I could be assaulted while in El Centro compared to past visits. I only meant that the people hanging out late at night don't have your best interests in mind. It was just a lot more mellow in years past. It's also a lot more difficult to find places to bring girls as most of the top hotels and even AIR accommodations are a lot more strict about allowing non registered guests to enter your room. However, there are some that don't restrict guests but you have to dig and sometimes I suspect you find out their restrictions upon your arrival as they are not posted in their reservation information. I have also been told that the prison penalties for assaulting tourists is significantly more than if they assaulted or robbed a local Colombian citizen.
I don't think that I could go to the extreme of finding two hotels to stay, one for you only, and the other for your lady guest as there are not that many budget hotels in El Centro anymore. I used to stay at a place just steps from the Clocktower and they were charging about $20 per night only a few years ago. Now, it's $60 and they are listed on Booking.com. Albeit they did renovate the hotel but I was fine with the prior set up because the nightly or short time price was cheap. They install a flat screen tv and a new shower and all of a sudden the price triples. I recall some of the Clocktower girls used this hotel for short term assignations though not sure with their new pricing structure if that still works price wise. I can see a scenario where a hotel such as the one I mentioned has a vacant room and the desk clerk rents it to a friend of theirs for an hour or so and gets a cut.
Anyway, it is what it is. I still like to go but yearn for the older days when life there was a bit more simple.

MoJo is right. The touts are unbearable in Centro. I usually stay in Manga, but my favorite restaurants are there. At this point, I don't even get dropped off at the Clock Tower anymore. I have the taxi drop me directly at the restaurant and wait til one comes passes by later to leave. Can't even leisurely walk around during the afternoon / evening without getting accosted. A damn shame.

It is one of the places that ranks the world for the greatest concentration of pussy for sale. Probably in the top five in the western hemisphere. If you were to get contacts with some chicas before going down there you might even regret it: because after 10 pm or eleven 11 pm. When you walk the clock tower, Dolce Vita and Space are you will see enough chicas. My running opinion right now of Delirium gathered from reports is not good but more recent visiting members may have a differing opinion. There are so many woman that in my opinion if you start contacting chicas even before you arrive you are just going to be limiting your options. And in Cartagena there are too many options to want to be limiting them.
It also depends on your style. For example you asked about "bottle service" - two reasons why I would not do that: first is the old colombain saying "no dar papaya" which literally translates to "don't give papaya" but means do not make yourself a target for thieves and one way that is done is making them envious by flaunting your money. I Know of at least one experienced monger who have gone to Dolce and partied like a rock star and had two super-model chicas promise to to a porn-star style Menage a trois then while one chica went downtown on the boy the other was taking him to the cleaners by taking all his stuff and leaving, soon then the one going down suddenly had to leave while the boy was stark naked and not yet been able to make sense of the situation. Second reason is related to my style of mongering. The other reason I would not get bottle service, and for me this reason is even more practicle. I am searching for that near perfect chica everytime I go out, and I usually find her, so to that end my style is not to plant myself in one spot when I am in Dolce Vita. I cant make it happen sitting in one spot, I have to mover around to make it happen. If I sit in one spot I am just going to experience what happens to me. Because I have shrunk my world down to the perimeter if the table and also my choices. It is a choice between waiting to see what happens to me or staying up and mobile and making what happens to me a choice I make. My experience is that if I want to find that chica the checks off everything on my list like: Her looks, services I want, price point I willing to pay, - then I have to shop around and since Dolce Vita can be a crowded spot it can take time and effort just to get over to where the cutie is standing so I can negotiotiate and then often because that particular cutie does not check all the boxes then I have to go roving for the next target to negotiate with. If I am sitting at a table doing the bottle service thing then I am more likely to attract the wrong people to my table so I prefer to roam around and search for diamond I am looking for.
My style is dependent on the reason I am there and that is to have the highest quality interaction with the chicas that I can but someone else may enjoy the ideal of having bottle service and then just a mediocre experience with a chica. The bottle service experierence to someone else may be as important to them a finding a quality chica is to me. So to each there own

Having to get a short time hotel every time you want to fuck is a pain in the ass and a hassle. Try to get a hotel that allows guests. This will also come at an expense, be prepared to pay higher rates for your room.
The hecklers and beggars are at another level here. I won't return for several years as I have been to so many other places where you can find quality women without having to deal with the guys in Centro trying to get every last cent out of you. I came very close to having problems on a few occaisions because my pride got the better of me and I am a seasoned vet of the game. The last thing I want is an altercation in Colombia over nonsense, but these guys really push the limits. If you have a crew of several dudes you are with who can handle themselves, you will probably be left alone much more.
People hate on Cartagena because of the so-called "Ballers" in the clubs, but they are not the problem. Not even close. It's just that the clubs get packed on the weekends and it's tough just to move around. That is the club scene in general. These guys are not doing anything to ruin the game in my view. Clubs are kinda slow Mon-Wed and the girls are all still there. Hit the clubs up mid week if that is your thing. The weekends, its too crowded to enjoy yourself.
Heat: the fucking heat and humidity is high, be prepared.
Cab Drivers: late night, they will start charging crazy rates and you will have to argue to get a normal price, during the day- 10 k gets you most places.
Price: 400 k per hour, or 600 k multi hour. If a girl wants more, then she had a lot of customers that week and she can gamble the up sell. I did have one girl quote me 300 USD with an entire club full of girls who were going to start at 400 k, obviously I didn't accept her offer.
Girls: a lot of girls who you can tell are full time pros, but there are some very beautiful girls available as well. You need to find what works for you and if you take your time, you will find it in Cartagena. I can't see how anyone could put Cartagena in their top 5 mongering spots. However, from my readings it seems that the hustlers / touts in Cartagena are probably the worst in the world. I sympathize with them as I understand that they are poor and just trying to earn a living. However, if they are not peddling something I want then I'm not interested and that has been my attitude everywhere I go. I can successfully navigate my way around them no matter how persistent they are; however, there is one thing I just cannot tolerate and would make me lose it and that is if I am touched by the tout while I am ignoring him. It has happened to me (though very rarely) and when it does I am challenged to the limit to control myself. I would not like to experience an occasion when the blood goes to my head and I react violently. Is this a practice by hustlers in Cartagena?

Must have been 4-5 times as many touts in 22. The people got hit hard by the tourism shutdown and are more desperate now. If it ever gets back to the way it was it is tolerable.
Is this a practice by hustlers in Cartagena?I can assure you it will, especially at Playa Hollywood.
At the beach the massage ladies and trinket sellers will harass you the most. If you're on foot walking around, you can avoid but if your stationary it will be a nuisance.
From a personal experience with the massage ladies, I'm on the beach sitting down waiting for food. Ladies comes by offers massage I tell them no, they insist on touching me, I tell them no, they proceed to put that sticky gel stuff on my legs, I still tell them no. This goes on for 10 minutes at a time. I've now learned from my chicas instead of saying "no tengo dinero" to say "no tengo plata" or "tengo mucho". Saying "no" or "no gracias" does not work. Another tactic is the runner who takes my order and brings me the food and drinks ill give them an extra 20 K and tell them keep all touts away from me while I'm sitting there.
This is my experience from that beach at a stationary location.
Now if your on foot in Centro you can keep it moving while either ignoring them or telling them no, sooner or later they will walk off. Sunglasses is good as it breaks eye contact. Some of these things you can easily get used to and dial it in as background noise.

That's when they get you LOL. When you pay for something and are stationary that's their chance to pounce because they know you can't go anywhere. That's getting the cabanas at the beach, carriage rides, a window seat at a restaurant, and especially sitting outside at restaurants its constant "tengo hambre" all throughout your meal. I made so many mistakes on my first trip years ago, I'm still laughing at myself for doing certain things.
Its best when I get a Colombiana from the barrios and she's shuts them down with some slang I make sure to see if they are available every time I arrive.
Were all there to enjoy our vacation, not to be harassed LOL.

By your own words, you went to the clubs for 2 weeks straight, of course they know you by face after the 3rd night and expect some of that money to come their way. Touts trying to go into the club with you or trying to hop into your cab means you were attracting too much attention and they knew where you will be every night. Ideally, after the first 3 nights yourself or group should have collected enough numbers to have fresh girls for the remainder of the trip and move away from the clubs where the working girls are and move over to the Getsemani clubs where the touts aren't. The girls you were pulling out could have also suggested better places to party at where they aren't touts harassing you as well unless they were just there to do their business and leave to get more business.
Let this trip be a learning experience on what not to do if you decide to return soon, on my first trip to Cartegena, big mistakes were made as I thought it would be the same a Sosua, I must of had "Plata gratis" stamped on my forehead because it was bad and this was pre covid. But now I'm chill, I take the fun back to the apartment with the girls and we have our fun. Out of a month-long trip I may hit Space or Dolce once a week, all other nights I tell the Chica, take me somewhere different. One nice spot was a restaurant down on the lake in El Laguito, there's also another one that popped up on the castle over the bridge, and the mall La Serrezuela cool spot at night and the 7 pm water jet show is a good time waster.

If you or your group kept going to Delirium, Dolce or Space for 2 weeks straight and were pulling out multiple girls every night and getting short term hotels well that's advertising to everyone standing outside that you have money to give away, its worse if you happen to be buying bottles inside and they saw you do it. By your own words, you went to the clubs for 2 weeks straight, of course they know you by face after the 3rd night and expect some of that money to come their way. Touts trying to go into the club with you or trying to hop into your cab means you were attracting too much attention and they knew where you will be every night. What is the routine for Hollywood Beach? How does it work for the chairs, umbrellas and food? And from what I can tell from the forum, it is a good spot for daytime action.

Just got back couple days ago from a 5 day trip.
Stayed in Posidon building in Laguito as usual- no problems with visitors at all or time restrictions.
Chica pricing relatively same, but does fluctuate depending the girl- there's no set system on pricing. We did our usual pickups from clock tower / LDV / space / delirium- between 500,000-800,000 pesos for 4-5 hours till 4 am, and two leches. Same routine all 5 nights.
All the clubs were shut down Saturday night between like 10 pm and midnight. Something about police / robberies, etc. Came back at midnight to pick up chicas, but maybe only 20-25% chicas came out. Was slim pickings.
One learning lesson from the trip- got basically robbed on the boat day trip. Went to playa blanca first which was cool, they actually had police there who came over to make sure we weren't being harassed. Then went to chalon; got ripped off. Boat drivers and chicas orders drinks and food, they bring the bill out as we were leaving at the cost of 3,500,000 for 8 people- and non of my boys even ordered food. Just one drink each. Smh. Also the boat guys were def in on this, as they went to shore for 5 min as were leaving and hopped back on the boat. Now they want the banana boat money we owed, plus money for the gas they used to track us down and gas money to return back to Cholon. SMH. In the end we dropped the price, and paid it. So in short, they may have tried to scam you for $800 but that charge back can bring future problems if you decide to go on another boat to those islands and someone recognize you. I think the terminology can be confusing becuase there are "registered guest" and then the guests of the guests. When I write to the owners to see if I can have girls over I always use the word "visitors" and ask are guests allowed to have overnight visitors.I agree, super confusing! Although it says Marriott, this is a small hotel. There is a beach across the hotel. Also I went and watched fishermen catch fish from the beach. They were catching big fish and selling. They were cleaning and cutting the fish and lots of people lining up to buy.
From there you see the wall. Short walk to the centro and the clock tower. I went for massage every day at centro. Can walk to the bars as well but I found girls on the street. Taxi is cheap also. There is a small store within 50 yards where you can buy water, drinks, food etc. They have small places which sell snacks along the beach street like arrepas. Delicious. There are some bars also which I did not visit.
From the airport if you are going to take taxi tell them Ermita hotel, Carrera. Not Marriott, in fact there is no Marriott sign outside.
Since I am a valued Marriott member they gave me a nice room on the ground floor. Breakfast for two is included. Adequate with lots of choices and tropical fruits. I took a taxi to many places to sightsee, restaurants. Just went to couple of clubs but did not like it.

What I can suggest is to tell you company you will take responsibility for your own safety with a hotel of your choice, put that shit in writing if you have to, because if they put you steps away from the 3 main clubs and you see what goes by there every night for 2 weeks and cannot bring any of them in to enjoy yourself it will be maddening getting short time hotels everytime.

Many of them already had their YouTube channels deleted so now they are on their second or third channels under the disguise of calling it a travel channel but always mention the "extra footage" they cut out is behind a paywall on Patreon. Certain channels like Kurt Caz, Ace Live, or Life with David focus more on what foreigners can do in the country besides mongering and those are the channels I watch to see what I can do next time I visit.

As for the Ermita being in a dangerous are, I don't think so unless there is more than one or something. It is right in the middle of the tourist zone across from the beach in Bocagrande. I have never heard of anything bad happening to anyone there.
Stayed at an AirBnB on Calle 9. No problem bringing back girls and no extra fee. Security at the entrance just checked ids.
Used Milleroticos for outcalls thru WhatsApp. 150 k to 200 k for 1 hour. Found one that had an incall on Carrera 3 and Calle 9 with 5 girls, all in their 20's. 5 minute walk for me. Most were already MILLFs. 200 k for 1 hour. Some asked for an extra 50 k for the room. Bonus, they were open 24/7.
Also went to Playa Hollywood. 200 k to 400 k for 1 hour. Most girls also asked for taxi fare afterwards. Not sure what happened but I didn't get stuck with waiters asking for a commission for the girls. Maybe I got lucky. Usually between 10 to 20 girls during the day. Most also worked the clubs and clock at night. But seeing them in bikinis during the day helped sort the mom bods from the non mom bods. Also a great way to enjoy the afternoon. Despite the reports, most of the vendors didn't harass as much as prior trips. They still came by but most moved on within a minute. Most of the girls also gave their WhatsApp for repeats.
Clock tower and clubs at night. 150 k to 450 k for 1 hour plus taxi. DV usually had the most and best looking girls. Weekdays were best for having room to walk around and talk. Lots of smaller bars and clubs also had girls 70, Marine, the ones around Delirium. The girls spilled over due to the lack of room at Space and DV. Some diamonds in the rough also at the clock tower and outside the clubs. Lots of police around at night so it seemed safer than my last trip. Police cars and vans parked at the clock tower each night. Usually at least 2 cops on the corner near each club. 30 to 100 girls each night. A lot of the same girls rotating between the clock and various clubs. Met a beautiful 20 yo mixed girl at the beach with natural see's. Then saw her outside again at DV at night in a short, tight pink dress. Took her twice in the same day LOL. Also met a skinny 20 yo from Cali with natural be's outside DV. Easily one of the hottest girls in Cartagena, but she seemed new because she asked for 200 k for 1 hour while similar girls were asking for at least 300 k+.
Because of the exchange rate, it was cheaper than my last visit. Davienda ATM by the clock tower next to the pizza place and donde Fidel was where I went to get cash. No fee and up to 2 M per withdrawal.
A little cloudy, some rain and flooding, but it was a great 2 weeks.

How does this happen to folks? Do you just go about all willy nilly not asking how much things cost before agreeing to buy it? Did you tell the boat drivers to get whatever they wanted and you would pay for it? 800 fucking dollars? Man they would have had to call in the SWAT team on me.Boat guys didn't even ask- they ordered while we were in the water. Smh.
Technically neither did the 4 chicas, they didn't ask (although they ordered in front of us, and we didn't really mind, so can't blame them).
And between the 4 of us guys all vegetarian, so no meals, only got 2 green mangoes and 4-5 drinks.
But yea, boat guys were DEF in on it. Anywyas just know these guys are all scum man. They literally handed us a bill for fking 3. 1 mill. Then when we went to pay with credit card the Ahole himself on his tablet clicked 15% for gratuity- we told them the gratuity was already added in the original bill which clearly said "propina"- then he says he has to charge 15% for credit card fee. Legit scum people man. Normally I wouldn't do this, but because they were scum, literally threw the amex into the water 2 min after leaving the island, easily disputed.

Just got back couple days ago from a 5 day trip.
Stayed in Posidon building in Laguito as usual- no problems with visitors at all or time restrictions.
Chica pricing relatively same, but does fluctuate depending the girl- there's no set system on pricing. We did our usual pickups from clock tower / LDV / space / delirium- between 500,000-800,000 pesos for 4-5 hours till 4 am, and two leches. Same routine all 5 nights.
All the clubs were shut down Saturday night between like 10 pm and midnight. Something about police / robberies, etc. Came back at midnight to pick up chicas, but maybe only 20-25% chicas came out. Was slim pickings.
One learning lesson from the trip- got basically robbed on the boat day trip. Went to playa blanca first which was cool, they actually had police there who came over to make sure we weren't being harassed. Then went to chalon; got ripped off. Boat drivers and chicas orders drinks and food, they bring the bill out as we were leaving at the cost of 3,500,000 for 8 people- and non of my boys even ordered food. Just one drink each. Smh. Also the boat guys were def in on this, as they went to shore for 5 min as were leaving and hopped back on the boat. However, we will have the last laugh as they accepted my credit card which will now be easily disputed. They will lose out on the full bill Plus the cut they gave to the boat guys jajajajaj.Agreed, the thought has crossed our mind. Your bill looks to be about $800, from what my chicas told me recently, the price of food on the islands went up a lot but not no $800 bill allot. I don't know how many girls you had but if they ordered food and the boat crew ordered as well (usually a crew of 2 minimum) then you and your boys had dinks (did you and your boys pay attention to those drink prices?) then add the 20% surcharge that 3,500,000 COP would require an itemized breakdown before I pay anything, F that bringing me a single large ass number on a napkin BS! I normally only work with Helmer if he's working the island that day and tip him accordingly.
The "Azul something" you are referring to is probably the Blue Apple. P.S.- about 5 years ago, my friend paid with his CC at pley club for a takeout chica. They charged 900,000 pesos for 6 hours, 3 leches was the agreement with the chica's boss (even though the guy actually said number of leches doesn't matter, he was more concerned she'the be back in 6 hours) After the first leche she just straight up refused for round 2, saying the money was too little, although my boy paid the club directly which she worked for. He got pissed, sent her home, charged back after couple weeks and was refunded. He also had an Amex, who are basically the gold standard for consumer protection of fraud.

Beware. They get you on the island and serve you food, fish and drinks, they do not have any prices on the menu or maybe no menu at all. Then they will try to charge you many times more than reasonable, and will not return you from the island until you pay. Typical Cartagena scam. And the Colombian women support the Colombian men in their scam. You will pay big time to get off the island!

I was there in March and was not a good stay as me usual, I was on the 16th floor and only 1 elevator worked, 1 was under renovation and the other was out of service. There was always a line no matter what time we came in. Then the roach problem because there was construction happening all day.
Roaches were coming out the electrical sockets and always in the bathroom. My chicas loved the view of the lake so we mostly just stayed on the balcony and drank and played games most of the night and had good sunsets.

It's not just us Americans and Euros that are getting scammed. It's any foreigner. The private boat trips are all tourist traps. If you want to take a chica to a beach, do what Colombians do. They pay for a day trips (pasadías) to Punta Arenas, Baru, or Islas del Rosario. They include round trip boat rides from Muelle de Bodeguita. Some are high end, but most are very affordable and include lunch. I've done this a few times and the chicas get really impressed.
The best way is an overnight or a few days at an all inclusive resort in Baru. It's much nicer. The beaches don't have any touts or massage ladies, and it's usually only other couples. The atmosphere is way better. It's more expensive (though not really if you pay in COP).

I was there in March and was not a good stay as me usual, I was on the 16th floor and only 1 elevator worked, 1 was under renovation and the other was out of service. There was always a line no matter what time we came in. Then the roach problem because there was construction happening all day.
Roaches were coming out the electrical sockets and always in the bathroom. My chicas loved the view of the lake so we mostly just stayed on the balcony and drank and played games most of the night and had good sunsets.Yup for Poseidon- elevators still a huge problem, even though two of the 3 were working this time. But that's the only problem we ever have there and just suck it up. We stay on the 21st top floor 5 br penthouse with panoramic balcony- it's so sick. No roach issues and never ever had visitor issues in 5 years, always signing in 4-5 different chicas each and every night.

a day trips (pasadas) to Punta Arenas, Baru, or Islas del Rosario. They include round trip boat rides from Muelle de Bodeguita. Some are high end, but most are very affordable and include lunch. I've done this a few times and the chicas get really impressed.Touts know exactly what time the day boat trips arrive and touts and vendors are there in flocks to annoy, sell you stuff you do not want or need, because the "are working" and "its not your country" and disturb you.

The ones in JFK kills me every time. Straight loud mouths with "all eyes on me" attention seeking syndrome. I'm starting to think allot of them have hearing problems because the whole terminal can hear their conversations and they won't shut up.

I had a trio of brothers who decide to have the loudest aggressive conversation ever, while eating breakfast. Did you book for maximum room occupancy?That sucks. Sadly that is the case with most of the hotels and also many of the AIR BnB especially in the old city. I will be staying at the Santa Clara / Sofitel in a few weeks and that place is def no visitors with registered guests only policy. However, I have a free time share exchange so willing to accept that situation. But it's only for the first week of my stay and the second week I am considering a stay out by the airport where there are several hotels and short term apartments, restaurants and bars. It's a bit further from El Centro action but perhaps there is P4 P activity out there so will give it a go and report back if it's a good area to stay.

When the bill came it was about 4,000,000, COP we understood the jetskis were about 1,500,000 COP. My girl pulls out a picture of the menu and starts calculating, shit almost added up. Turns out they added a 400 mil COP service charge onto the bill then wanted to add 20% on it because we were paying with card. My girl starts arguing about the 400 mil service charge because apparently there is some law I never heard of where paying the service fee is optional.
They were going back and forth for about 15 minutes with it and we just said fuck it we will pay because it was already after 2, we wanted to go to another beach and spend a little time there before heading back and didn't want choppy water. I go to pay the bill with my card, the bill guy standing next to me, wants me to sign, I get it, I sign, he wants me to put a phone number too, I get it, I put a number, but as soon as I put the the number the guy says something and I look up and its his phone in my face and I hear the camera shutter. Before I can say anything, he grabs the bill and runs off.
I'm standing there like WTF just happened. I look at my girl and asked her WTF just happened? She doesn't know because she haven't been to an island since I saw her on my last trip.

Was in Cartagena for three days a week ago so thought I'd write a quick report. Stayed at Hotel Dorado which is very close to the clock tower. This was a low end hotel that allowed one girl to visit for free since I had reserved for two, but charged me 100 K COP for the second girl I brought back. Only major complaint about this place is that the internet was either intermittent or non existent. This is not acceptable if your trying to work remotely, ended up having to take a vacation day due to no internet. Noticed Juan Valdez has pretty good WIFI but is limited to about 30 minutes (with coffee purchase) if you don't have an account with them. I'd like to set up an account but seems you need to have a local phone number.
All the girls I pulled were from the clock tower. First girl was thin and pretty but seemed to have very high mileage, she offered 300 K / hour but I got her down to 250 K. They all seem to go to the same building for short time rooms a couple blocks away from the clock tower and the charge is 100 K / hour for the room. I've visited Bogota many times but this was only my second time in Cartagena. The ATM on the second floor of the exito mall would give me 100 K COP notes that were green in color. This is the first time I've ever seen 100 K COP bills. I've never seen this type of bill in Bogota.
In general, there were plenty of hot girls in the clock tower area and walking to the surrounding clubs on Friday. I feel the standard rate of $100/ US is a bit steep but it's not much higher than previous years.
I was also in Bogota Santa Fe area this trip and it has gone downhill quite a bit. I kept busy but had a hard time finding girls above a 7 in any of the clubs. Fiebres and Troya used to be standing room only on the weekends, but now it's easy to find a seat. I'm not sure where all the girls went to but I'm guessing they found greener pastures. The girls in the Santa Fe area (Bogota) are now charging 100 K COP for 20 minutes. A few years ago the rate was 70 K COP. Had to get 2 new ones who's not too hardened for 200 mil BBFS and they stayed the whole damn day no problem multiple leches and sent them home in time for my main girl to come at night.
I leave tomorrow so tonight's just a quiet dinner in Getsemani, and drinks away from the Centro BS.
Them dams kids is still out there at like 11 pm, I thought they were going to put a curfew on them to keep them off the street.

I've visited Bogota many times but this was only my second time in Cartagena. The ATM on the second floor of the exito mall would give me 100 K COP notes that were green in color. This is the first time I've ever seen 100 K COP bills. I've never seen this type of bill in Bogota..Those bills are a curse. No one takes them except large restaurants, clubs and the girls. I usually change out $1000 at a time at the Cambrio and they try to load me up with those 100 K bills even though I tell them give me the 50 K bills. Even with the 50 K bills its a fight with the taxi to get change.
