A short trip report of my recent trip to Medellin.
I stayed at Sites Hotel in Patio Bonito because my last stay there was great. No chica fees, convenient location. The chica entry policy of the hotel has changed since last year and now there is a chica fees of approx. 23 usd. Will scout for another hotel for my next trip.

If one of them asks for a recommendation I have a good idea on whether or not to give them a number and who is most likely to be a good match. Now that group of lurkers, I know nothing about any of them, except they are completely anonymous. If I post a girl's information for everyone to see, she's likely to start having problems. There's no such thing as rule of law in Colombia. Back in late 2016 I was stopped multiple times in El Poblado and even harassed for a bribe. I had no contraband and I never buy or do drugs in Colombia. You have no rights. Be polite and just do what they say. I wouldn't record shit because you're probably going to escalate the situation.
Some posters are going to say how great the cops are in Medellin. Don't believe them. There's one fat cop in El Poblado especially who goes around in a bike and harasses everyone angrily. Fuck him. Most of them are just looking for quick cash. At one point they were frisking everyone coming out of Parque Llleras on a particular street. I was told 5 k would have me skip the line and just go past. They're making their rent. Pigs.

Most of my time this trip was with my girlfriend, traveling about together, however, had a few days by myself to play.
El Centro was fun, my favorite place as well to play.
Met up with a couple of my favorite chicas out there, and met a couple newbies.
As long as you take precautions and aren't a dummy, you'll be good out there, IMO.
There was a large presence of police near Veracruz one day, wearing vests that said Investigators.
I asked one of the cops who appeared to be a boss type, why the large presence this day.
He told me that this was an area of prostitution and street crime, and that an extranjero was robbed and injured, but not killed, at knife point, by several girls he was with in one of the cheap motels there.
Interesting enough, he encouraged me to check out the girls, but to be careful, and advised me to be with only one at time.
I played naive to the game, LOL.
Anyway, I had fun and ran into no troubles.
I hit Fase Dos one night, mostly out of curiosity, and though I enjoyed the sites, I met no one worthy of 190 k pesos.
The hot ones I met were mostly bad attitude types IMO.
My best experience was with a girl I met at the Centro strip Club near Conejitas.
She was a cinnamon skin little spinner, very nice and energetic.
I paid the 50 k multa, took her to dinner on Juníand, then to a Motel for fun.

Sounds like you are on the right track. The places mentioned are the best choices of cases and the only ones that I am aware off that have a high number 10+ chicas at a time. The Facebook chicas are not escorts. They are regular girls that moonlight. Some are pros but from my experience they are regular girls. Try Lleras at night there will be plenty to choose from. Hide your stuff with them since you never know. I recommend to get into a whatasapp group that can help you with connecting with the surplus. There is several out there if I remember correctly. The loss of a passport is an expensive inconvenience. Depending on your travel schedule it can be a very very expensive inconvenience. That is as bad as it gets. The immigration police tend to perk up when a foreigner answers the standard "which hotel are you staying in" question with "I'm in an apartment". There is no front desk to call for passport information. I see no downside to carrying a copy of your passport photo page and your entry stamp. I only carry my passport when I am using it to cross a border. I haven't had police problems after presenting other ID. I've had people tell me they were detained when they couldn't produce a passport. It hasn't been my experience; I think there are two sides to every story and something more than lack of a passport has been at play. This is only my opinion. I once had to accompany a co-worker on a side trip to Bogotá so he could replace his stolen passport in time to catch our flight home. It bummed me out because I had to cancel all the weekend dates I had lined up in Medellin after a tough week of work. Now that was inconvenient.

...I would start my day at New Life. Calle 56 #43-39. Most taxi drivers will know where it is. Just tell them la casa de chicas con la puerta azul. Scratch that. I'd start with late breakfast, early lunch at Delicias Al Natural Carrera 43 #55-35. Great cheap food. From there, turn left and walk to the corner, turn left on Calle 56 and just a little way down is New Life. Just go through the blue door. When you leave New Life, go back to Carrera 43 and go north to Calle 56. Go left and look for the red door. It's in the same place as New Life, just a block north. What basic rights does one have walking outside in public with regards to privacy?
Can the police search you for no reason? Can they look at your phone? Can they just go into your pockets and wallet as they please?
I ask this because I stopped by the mansion in a taxi to pick up a friend. I got out, walked to the gate and before I could even ring the bell, I was confronted by two aggressive police officers who bombarded me with questions. I responded politely to every question. Meanwhile, one of the officers puts his hand in my pockets and pulls out everything I had.
EXTREMELY Uncomfortable situation! Not to mention the cooperation the mansion doorman! I had to repeat at least 6 times, I was there to pick up a friend and even by the doorguy I was treated like some kind of criminal and liar. WTF.

A couple years ago, I was leaving New Life and two dudes approached me saying they were police and I was doing something illegal inside. I didn't believe they were really cops so I just ignored them and kept walking, but I can see lots of guys not doing that.

Is casino gambling that bad and basically non-existing?

Cost was approx. $80 USA, I bought the ticket online ahead of time at Avianca's Colombia based website. I read that just searching and going to their international website results in a gringo tax (higher price). If you google "Avianca" from abroad, you'll be directed to Avianca's international website. But if you simply correct the end of the URL into "en-co" so that the domain will be http://www.avianca.com/en-co/ This will allow you to book the internal flights in English, but get the Colombian prices.
In my case, to save having to fly back to CTG when leaving, I got a one way flight to CTG, and also one way back to USA When departing from MDE.

If you want to fly to Bogota and then switch to a local airline to fly to Medellin you have a few choices. Viva Colombia is cheapest. It's their version of Spirit. They add on charges for everything. Most comfortable is Avianca. I've always had plenty of legroom on Avianca flights and I never have enough legroom.

In my experience they start all pissed off like that and then completely change demeanor. He was looking to frighten you into handing over some cash to leave you alone. In my case the cop said: "That's not your cell phone" and I showed him how I unlocked it with the fingerprint ID. That made his partner laugh.

BUT the season is starting up so prices are going to be higher.
You can take the EWR to MED with a change in Pananma Via United, The truth is Panama is great cause no customs to deal with and the terminal is right across from when you change plans. Rarely will you miss connecting.
You can do JFK to miami to med via american but sometimes the layover is long.
Also avianca does a JFK to Bogata to Med. It all depends on the day you leave.
STAY AWAY from SPIRIT at ALL cost. That is not an airline, it is a bus with wings. I delete it from all my searches.

Getting to JFK is a bit of a pain but I wouldn't call it "super hassle".
Book a complete ticket, you won't save any money by booking separately or by waiting till you get to Bogota. The flights are pretty full, you may have to bus it if you wait.
Use Google Flights to find flights.
You have United / Copa, American, Avianca, Jet Blue, Spirit, Delta to choose from.
BTW-If you are looking for cheap, forget it now, it's going to cost at least $600-700. Maybe you can get lucky and catch a promo fare.

In their search you can see filters like stops, price, times, etc. At the end there is a tab that says "more" Click on that and you can change flight duration time, put it to 10 hours, you will now be able to play with the dates and only see results for trips with a total of less than 10 hour duration, the average is about 8 hours.
LOL well let me tell you there are wayyy more than 3 casinos in Medellin. If I had to attempt to make an educated guess I would say there's probably closer to 3,000 than 3 casinos. You can find them on damn near every block but a lot of them are slots only. My Spanish in very basic but I've always had fun at them. My 2 favorites are rio sur in Santa Fe, I believe that's the name it's very close to centro commercial Santa Fe. And the other was close to the San Diego show bar strip club. I have always had real good luck playing roulette and black jack at the tables, but shit luck on slots. Anyways the minimum is dirt cheap in pesos so have some fun and check it out.

It's only 1 side of the street for 1 block. It has some potential. There are several reasonable hotels in the area. It's just a short walk from the metro Ayura station. The food court at the Mayorista center has some great cheap food and there's lots of good hole-in-the-wall restaurants scattered around. It's also a great place to go clothes shopping. Think El Centro on a smaller scale. There are plenty of barbershops and pool halls, if you're looking for either.

There the ones south El Poblado (Casino San Fernando, Casino Medellin etc.) are alright but they are not giant casinos. 3-5 tables, with usually 2 tables of blackjack. I know Casino Medellin sometimes has parties at night and chicas come out but only because a chica I know went. It was some anniversary for the casino.
Don't expect to pick up hookers in casinos. I didn't see any.
I recently found a small boutique, reasonably priced hotel / party house on Carrera 36 that is girl friendly. I never used to stay at hotels and used to rent on airbnb but more and more private apartments are having issues and it is getting harder to find cool apartments with one or two rooms and larger ones are charging way too much.
It is a small 11 room boutique casa / hotel and they have a gaint jacuzzi for larger groups. To Medellin (RT) in September anywhere from $480-$550. Check that site, they always have the lowest fares with different airlines.
If you look at flights on the same booking site multiple times from the same computer the prices go up each time.

There are some apartment buildings with airbnb units that have a front desk like a hotel. They check all the ladies ID's and make copies.
You need to read the complete listings on airbnb. Some will be plain and say no prostitutes allowed. Others will say no sex tourism. Some will say only people listed on the registration are allowed in the apartment. In the listing, they will say that any violation of the rules will cause an immediate eviction and no refund. If the listing doesn't say anything about visitors, send a message to the owner, or agent, and ask if visitors are allowed.
You are better off if you can find a building with almost all short-term renters. Some listings will say that locals and families live in the building. That's a red flag, so stay away.

I see worse scenes in any entertainment district of Southern USA cities on Saturday night, then in Bogota or Medellin. Yes, you should be aware of your risks. However, most data on the ORAL transmission of STDs indicates that the risk is on the receiving end of a penis. I've been to Kiev and Medellin. Generally I can say that girls in Kiev have a little bit more class compared to Medellin. But Medellin's WG are cheaper and more fun compared to Kiev.

They're not terrible. There the ones south El Poblado (Casino San Fernando, Casino Medellin etc.) are alright but they are not giant casinos. 3-5 tables, with usually 2 tables of blackjack. I know Casino Medellin sometimes has parties at night and chicas come out but only because a chica I know went. It was some anniversary for the casino.

Bpdrinks for you and the chicas are reasonably priced. My Spanish is not very good and I get by just fine. In Medellin, the strip clubs are my favorite because you can see what your getting before going with a chica, you can spend time with them and negotiate what they they'll do.

If you do research in STDs you'll find that like most diseases, the bigger the danger, the harder it is to catch. Using that filter, it's HIV, herpes and there are some virulent strains of syphilis that have emerged, but not here yet, that I know of.
The chances of getting HIV through oral sex of any kind are about. 5%. There are no documented cases of this happening, that I'm aware of. If you had an open sore in your mouth, it would be a bad idea. Otherwise.
Even with vaginal penetration, it's much lower risk for a man, as it's pretty uncommon for a penis to get injured during sex and vaginal tears are common. Anal penetration is more dangerous.
Do research and take the risks you are comfortable with.

Total newbie experience in the M. Two weeks of Duolingo Spanish is all I got under my belt and finished maybe 25% of the exercises. IMO, Bogota's Santa Fe is head and shoulders above Vera Cruz in Medellin! In the Vera Cruz area, you can generally take a quick walk and see all the girls available and they are usually pretty horrible looking. Too old, too fat, or if attractive, too young. In contrast, in Santa Fe, you're talking about a good 4 square blocks of women both indoors (at night) and outdoors (night and day). Someone recently posted a count that one could find 250 working girls at any time of day or night in Santa Fe. The best thing is, there is a variety as the girls are from all over including Venezuela, and are mostly in the 7-10 range with many 10 bodies! Generally, the top girls in Vera Cruz will be 7's.
I walked Vera Cruz day and night for 5 days straight while I stayed at a Centro Hotel and these were my observations. I have mongered in Bogota on and off for 10 years but have only been hitting Santa Fe for about 2 years at least every 2-3 months. My next trip, I will actually be staying close to Santa Fe rather than in the North as I had been all these years. Santa Fe is a definite gold mine. Both areas are a bit dodgy as far as the characters who hang around, but I found that going to Santa Fe during the day to get my bearings made me feel more comfortable being there at night. One of the best venues in Santa Fe, Atunes, is a day hours spot, so that helps! Get there around 2 pm and you'll have a ball. You'll find you probably won't have the stamina for all the girls you want.
Veracruz is not a reason to avoid or seek out Medellin. Bogota is cold AF at night. There is no shortage of girls in either city but they are very different cities.

You got some feedback about Bogota vs. Medellin: Bogota is more populous and varied and it is colder than Medellin, especially at night. IN CENTRO, I mean really in centro, 1 block from Prado Metro Station, I recommend without hesitation the Motel Lafayette (pronounce "Lafajette" if you want to ask a taxi driver to take you there). What do you consider "living nice?" You can find comfortable, clean places for $20-$30 per night. I've been in a bunch of apartments and hotel rooms that guys claimed were the best, in their opinion. They ranged from "I wouldn't stay there" to "too expensive" in my opinion.
I know guys who have 3 or 4 girls every day when they are in Medellin. There are others who spend all their time with 1 girl. Some only want the girls off the street in El Centro, some only want models.
"Live like a king and monger like a king" doesn't give any idea of what you want to do, so it's ridiculous to try and tell you how much it will cost.
First, decide how much you are willing to spend. Don't forget to include airfare. Beware, ticket prices can change by hundreds over just a few days. Now how are you planning on eating? The restaurants fit for a king will run you $30-$50 meal, more if you're having more than 2 cocktails. At the other end of the scale you can get 3 meals of comida tipica for about $10 per day. My preference is a Colombian breakfast and lunch, then something else for dinner. Costs me less than 50 k COP per day unless I splurge on dinner.
Now that you have food and transportation, figure out your mongering desires. Be realistic. Some guys, without Viagra, are good for 3 pops per day. Some even with the blue pills are only good for 1. Keep in mind, you'll probably be adjusting to the altitude, so will tire easier. If you aren't an experienced monger, you'll probably be dealing with some anxiety. Reality probably won't match your expectations. At the bottom end you can spend 80-100 k for 2 sessions in El Centro per day, plus another 100-150 k for one of the casa or street girls to come to your place. At the high end you can spend 2 or 3 million COP daily. I recommend deciding how many girls per day you realistically want to see, decide whether you're going with El Centro quickies (50 k), Facebook or other online girls (150-250 k) or strictly models (300 k and up) and do the math.
Now you know how much you have left over for lodging. See what's available and then decide if you need to start over with a different plan.
Back to the girls. As has been stated many times there's no correlation between what you pay and what you get. I've had the same girl tell me that 250 k was her lowest price, then offer (on different days) 200 k, 150 k, 120 k and 60 k. I've had 50 k sessions that were great and 200 k sessions that were lousy. The key is doing your research, putting together a realistic plan and being prepared for the glitches.
Here's 1 possible scenario:
Get a room at Hotel Porton Medellin, about $800 for 2 weeks. Book for 2 and make sure any girls you want to bring to your room are dressed reasonably and have their cedula. Breakfast is included. Santa Fe and Oviedo malls are within walking distance for lunch, 12-15 k for the menu of the day, $80 for lunches. Dinner can be in a variety of places for about 50 k or $250 for all your dinners. Add in Viagra, condoms, taxis and some basic supplies and all your basic needs are met for under $1500. That leaves $100 daily for mongering, assuming a $4000 budget with $1000 airfare.
After lunch, take a taxi to El Centro. Visit a few casas until you find the right girl and spend 50 k. For the evening set up a date off of Facebook for 170-220 k. If you tip 10 k to the casa girl you can do 28 girls, eat well, stay in a nice hotel and keep it under $4000.
From all the mongers I met in Medellin, the ones who tried to do too much had the worst time. Those are the guys who feel the need to have 3 or 4 girls every day, while partying hard. The ones who just come relaxed, enjoy themselves and work in 1 or 2 girls a day seem to be happier.

If your Spanish is good, you like to dance and you're not a complete troll, get a good costume and pick a club. Otherwise, work Facebook and find a girl. If you're splurging, she'll be happy to bring a friend or 3.
If you just want to find a girl to come to your room for awhile, it's not the best time. Most of the girls would rather be out partying, so they're not as likely to put out their best effort.

The Mansion is not a casa or brothel. It is a hotel with independents. The starting point is the same as it has been for as long as I've been going to medellin (12 years) - 150 mil. There has been an effort to organize and push the price to 200 mil or more. But only lazy, stupid, or newbies are likely to pay that, unless you are getting something really good (lots of time, many extras, anal) or you are really ugly and have poor hygiene. You should expect GFE. You should expect BBBJ (if not, pass). You should expect some kissing (although not always DFK). You will find a mix of new girls and hardened pros who have been there for years. Some are worth it and some are not. Ask. For me, I rarely if ever take girls from there. Because I have a good list and I don't stay there much any more. But I have found some real gems in the past (although they don't always stay a gem).

Here's my costs:
Round trip tickets with Spirit airlines: $400.
Penthouse apartment with A/C in Laureles: $43 a day.
Meals: Usually $5-10 a day, I only eat once a day so that cut down the costs.
Girls: Most wanted 150 k-200 k plus taxi fare, so around $60 to $88 a piece.
In total I spent around $3,600 for a month of debauchery. 4 grand should easily cover two weeks even if you're doing double the number of girls (or even 4 x or 8 x if you go for cheaper centro prepagos!

Monday was a holiday so things were slow in El Centro and we got there late:

Nice report! Can you share where you stayed please?San Peter apartment suites on Calle 41 a, they are listed on a number of sites but I booked them through airbnb. They have a front desk like a hotel and will check the ID of every girl you bring back but they are girl friendly. While I was there I saw a handful of older unattractive dudes entering and leaving with girls far more younger and prettier (one looked like he was 70 and had a 20-year-old as arm candy! Their suites are pretty spacious and come with air conditioning and a fully stocked kitchen. Only downside was that sitting adjacent to Car. 70 there's a lot of city noise.
As an added bonus, their in-house restaurant makes a pretty decent burger, and you can even get it delivered to your door.
