Do try each place more than once, for example if you go to a casa one day and have a mediocre experience or bad lineup, do try a different time of the day and or come back later..Completely agreed. I live here and the casas are always hit or miss, regardless of whether they're high end or low end. Most clubs you can know almost exactly what to expect at any given hour of any given day. Not so with the casas.
Laureles is at least within easy striking distance and quick / cheap taxi or uber to Centro. I don't understand the Poblado lodging thing at all.
That same thing today, why rent in Poblado or Laureles just to hike back to Centro? I will find a hotel in Centro and if I find a chic I want to wine & dine we will hit up Poblado for 2-3 days, but Poblado exclusively for my 3 week stay? It seems like the nighttime noise and all day heavy car traffic on Maracaibo would make the Normandia intolerable. It's not even set back from the street. I guess the advantage is it is the very closest hotel to the Barra Ejecutiva / Club Maracaibo circuit but I don't see it being so great for sleeping or relaxing.
I was in MDE for 10 days starting Feb 15th and had reservations for Hotel Normandia but immediately checked back out because of bad vibes. I hiked over to Hotel Botero and negotiated 75.000 per night. It was a good stay and I liked that the checked out the girls I brought up no fee. I got some good info from Wolf662 and of course World Traveler 69's map. There were 15 of 20 casas and / or clubs with a 25 minute walk and I visited all of them and used their services. Clubs were 75.00 / half hour and the casas were from 45.000 to 75.000. There is even a casa across the street from the hotel (Yakuza) and I went there 5 times over the 10 days. I had no bad experiences at any of them but as I can only pop once or twice / day I usually just get a full body massage with a happy ending if possible. I met a Venezolana at the Conito's Bar and had her over to the Hotel 4 or 5 mornings. We watched the big drama regarding Maduro and the border. I believe that Medellin can rival Cali for service and price and quality but it beats Cali in that now and again you actually see fellow Gringos who all seem to be in the hobby in Medellin.
I am returning to MDE in May for two weeks and have a question for you. Where do the Gringo congregate in the morning or afternoon? I would really like to swap stories and get info. There's an outside chance I will be moving to either Cali of Medellin in a year or two.

I just came from there and asked for a quiet room and they put me on the third floor. The noise was not so bad in the room I was in, however for one day or two, the floor smelled like fresh paint. I think they are done painting by now, on that floor.

Also you can really only hear the noise with the balcony door open. So I close the door before going to sleep so the noise will not wake me in the morning. Then when I wake up I open the door to let in fresh air. You don't really hear the vehilcles as much as you hear the people.

Colombia has exchange rate towards the EURO and USD at 1700 cop / USD, but even now which exchange at 3000 for both USD / EURO, prices has not risen much. They have actually fallen due to the inflation of 500.000 Venezuelans, where prices in the future will be low, since it will take a decade to clean up all the mess.
Interesting is that Colombian prices has not changes during decade. There there a period 2014 when the COP becaame really strong wanting to change destination. 2009 Energy charges 90 k / hs, 2013 140.
As a did a server among there the internet quality of girls / price, the prince has fallen to 100.150 k, while a at 2014 they where going over 200 and some superstars demanded 200+ the Bello-taxi trik.

This was my 5th trip to MDE and I always stay in an Airbnb in the estadio / laureles / floresta area. About my style, I don't drink, don't like loud music and am in my 50's. It is a numbers game for us too and always has been all of our lives. You talk to 10 chicks and you get the phone number of 4. You go out with 2 of those and end up fucking 1.

It also depends on how you value your time. I guess one can spend a lot of time finding the optimal price when time is free. When time has a cost, then it becomes a balance between cost and price.

I was in Medellin last January. Went to New Life. It was different from all the other casas I've been to. There was a lot activity going on, they had many girls lined up single file, and they walked up one by one. That is a fair point. Centro is absolutely an urban environment. The metro is faster / cheaper to get to Centro from Poblado. I notice girls arrive more punctually to Centro but as you pointed out if you are on a long term visit the waiting time isn't going to matter.

Is this true? I know one can likely make multiple transactions and end up with 2 million for around $8-$12. I did something similar in DR but found that some of the ATMs ran out of money frequently.
Would you recommend I get it ahead of time and take a hit on the fee or wait and chance it for lower fees?

So no need in carry currency you don't need, $200 usd at any bancolombia ATM spits out $600,000 pesos. That's what I've used while in Medellin. Pollo negro is out!

If you want more you should be upfront about it. I pretended to be green and asked "so how does this work?" - and the girl will tell you the different prices. All options are available (hand, mouth, sex with the first two that can be had with her naked and you touching or nothing) and she asks that you leave her the money on the table before you leave. Service is good but keep in mind two things:
1. Anything you decide to do gets taken out of your 60 minute slot as they have bookings before and after yours (and I guess they need to keep up appearances) so your massage will be shorter.
2. If you ever decide to go for full service, this will make your visit there pretty punchy. If I remember correctly I was quoted 150 k /200 k for the sex alone.
To recap, it's an enjoyable way to spend an hour in a very touristy and wealthy part of the city so keep in mind that if you go. I usually just get a nice relaxing massage with lots of stroking and flirting and a pleasant hand finish seen how I wouldn't last too long anyway!

You can also change cash at a Cambio at I assume a better rate and no lower fee in Medellin. Avoid the Cambios at the airport, they have no fees but their poor rates more than make up for that. Remember a fee is only one part of the cost, a poor rate can cost you more than any fees. ATMs may charge up to three fees a local ATM fee, your bank ATM fee and finally a transaction fee (usually 1% to 3%). Your existing bank can advise you on what those banks charge in fees. Local banks in Medellin will charge fees (if I remember correctly) of $3 to $5 per transaction on foreign transactions. ATM exchange rate are based off the existing international bank exchange rate.
Schwab and Fidelity offer ATM cards that charge nothing for international ATM withdraws and even refund any local ATM fees. The Fidelity fees hits in a day or two. Schwab bundles them and give you one rebate with all fees at months end. I don't know how often you travel internationally, but I'm out of the country over 6 month a year. I have both these cards and they save me hundreds of dollars year in ATM fees. I think on both cards you can set the daily withdrawal limit and can take multiple withdrawals until you hit that limit. Amazingly Schwab has no minimum balance requirement. I'm not sure about Fidelity. At one point Capital One had an ATM card with a similar benefit but I'm not familiar with it. Plenty of ATMs in Medellin and the only time they may run out of money is on the weekend, especially Sunday. The airport has several ATMs and one always seems to have enough money to get me into town.
While I rarely need the withdrawal power of two cards, its nice to know if one is lost or stolen (I've had both happen internationally) I have a backup. My ATM card was stolen in Medellin and I lost on in the Atacama desert in Chile.
More of a concern in Medellin will be security. I tend to take money out of ATMs deep inside malls or the supermarket and never at night in an on the street ATM.
It's good to have a backup card, that is great advice. Using ATMs in secure locations is also excellent advice. I didn't mention it because it's been covered so many times here, but so has everything else about ATMs so that was my bad.
As far as card fees, unless you are going to be making withdrawals several times a day for weeks on end, I don't see how the fees can amount to enough to to change your plans or even think about. Lots of credit unions and banks, and the ISG brokerage favorites on here offer no fee ATM cards. Shop around and find the deal that works best for you. That concludes this week's personal finance content. Anybody else notice the trend of nicer Veracruz girls who show up around the front of the museum about 9 am Until early afternoon? I remember the one digit thing you used to have to do for a landline. I have not dialed one of those in years (because like Orgasmico said everyone has used whatsapp in recent history). The cell phones always had the 3 digits starting with a 3 at the beginning. 300, 316, 312, etc.

That is pretty much an American thing these days. Nobody that travels overseas or lives in a different country uses SMS anymore. After you have added them to the contact list in your phone using the +57 3xx-xxx-xxxx, go to whatsapp and click the magnifying glass at the top right. Type in the name that you saved in your contacts. If they have whatsapp then it will pop up. Click on it and type.
How did you meet this person? Because these days whether I meet a person online or in person, I do not ask for their phone number. I instead ask if they have whatsapp. Then they will say yes, this is the number. I will put it in my phone and send them a message immediately that says "from Me".
I see noticeable changes in the last year. Still night of the living dead after dark but slightly less than before. I agree, Google Fi is the way to go for international travel to anywhere. Just one SIM that works at home and essentially everywhere as soon as you get off the plane. Don't have to worry about getting a SIM and it expiring like it does in Colombia. $20 for unlimited text and call (extra for international calling), with $10 a gig until 6 gigs after which it is free. So your bill is max $80.

It was a short trip, but with all the information available here, was able to make a list of places to go.
Wish my report can help few newbies wanting to visit the city and enjoy it.
Uber- Never once took the taxi since I do not speak any Spanish at all. Uber worked great.
Bank ATM- Used the Davivienda bank since someone mentioned that they do not charge any fees. Which was true but I got killed with my own Bank of America bank ATM fees.
Also, note that this bank gave me an option to withdraw 1,500 k which is about $500 dollars.
For newbies, once you get to ATM machine, just put the card into the machine.
I was a bit intimidated with Spanish written screen, but once ATM card was inserted, it gave me an option in English.
Food- Stayed in Poblado area so there was plenty of eatery around for cheap. Really enjoyed empanadas and Colombian hot dogs.
OK, here some my experiences with mongering.
Loutron- located on the hills by very fancy residential area. Uber dropped me off at wrong location so had to walk down a bit to find this place. 300 k per HR. And saw some 10's.
Liked the fact the girls show their body during the intro. Obviously, it's on higher side but glad that I tried.
Gusto night club- 15 k cover. Went Friday and Saturday nights but did not see much. Was packed with gringos. Only cool or funny thing was few girls that I saw on Youtube video about Parque Lleras, they were in this club.
Fase Dos- No cover. Quick drive from Poblado. Girls were OK not great. Price is 190 k and on-site rooms are very clean with shower. Visited all three nights during my stay and same girls worked on those nights.
La Isla- 10 k cover charge. Really had high hopes for this place but did not see any pretty girls here. Visited both Friday and Saturday nights and was disappointed. Many girls just sat on the couch and playing with their phone.
New Life- Visited Friday afternoon and Sunday morning. 50 k for 30 min and girls are like next door types. There were tons of gringos as I waited more than 20 min since all the girls were taken each time. Each girl that I tried had a pleasant attitude.
My thought on the Medellin, Colombia- Beautiful city with friendly people. Everything was cheap and felt very safe around the city.
Also, was surprised how many tourists were visiting the city. Maybe, I had high hopes where city had nothing but 10's walking around but maybe my expectations were too high or bad timing.
However, I never had a bad sex with each girls I tried. They all wanted to pleased and make sure I was happy (hard to say about women in America).

The simple trick is to ask the girl for her WhatsApp. Open your contact list on your phone (not Whatsapp). Type in her name. Enter the country code of +57 and then hand her your phone. After she punches in the number, save the contact and open WhatsApp. Send a message to her, I usually just send my name. She'll add you, you can message away.

I have just returned home from my maiden trip to Medellin.
A few notes and observations from this trip.
I used this forum as my main research tool for the trip. Thank you to the members who have contributed to this site.
I took a lot of time to find somewhere suitable to stay. My needs were a good kitchen, security and an area where I can walk in the day time.
I settled on an AirBNB place in Laureles. I like the area. I prefer entertaining my ladies at home where I have full control rather than going.
Out for casa visits, strip clubs etc. I was by myself so maybe next trip I will venture out more, but I was in my comfort zone operating this way.
I spent my time with mostly pros. I did a couple of non pros with mixed success, had I stayed here longer I might have been tempted to date more.
Non- working girls.
Some were from facebook and I used the photoprepagos site.
These 2 methods took enough work to manage. I am on holidays so this was as much effort as I was willing to put it. I did consider using SA and Tinder, but I had.
Enough success with the 2 aforementioned methods.
Most of my experiences were really good, some excellent and a few went badly.
I did spend a fair bit of time with a lady that has been well reviewed on here before. Like most reviewers I found her to be a little sweetheart and great company.
However her use by date is approaching. The wrong side of 30 now and the booze and drugs use are starting to show. She can have a bit of a shitty temper when she is coming down.

Just a few more last thoughts.
Lessons learnt in other countries can be applied here.
I booked a modern comfortable apartment for my stay and provided drinks, food and music for my guests. Once they are comfortable and relaxed you will get better service out of them.
I like to cook and I found the girls generally liked having a meal cooked for them. I had one smoking hottie took a liking to my cooking. She would come around for dinner, give me a freebie and then go out and sell.
It for $200 at Gusto's. No budding master-chefs you are not getting her name.
Invest in a good pair of walking shoes.
Try to pay cash in restaurants and use ATM's to obtain local currency. I have a citibank card and I got a very good rate at the ATMs.

I remember talking to a girl who lived deep in the barrios and I asked her what do guys do there to make money in her hood. She straight up said lots of them go out and drug / rob people in centro or anywhere there's an opportunity. I asked her this after we had already hung out for a few dates. I almost always use a CC with no foreign transaction fees to pay for drinks / food at the middle to higher end restaurants and rack up points / miles. 99 out of 100 I have no problem, but one time I was slapped with a 3% fee after the fact at Tabu (Indian restaurant in Poblado). Waiter gave me the reason as conversion fee to USD, never heard that before. Whether it's true or not, that was my experience.
Most restaurants ask if you want to include 10% tip on the bill when you ask for the check. I always say yes, but I do double check to make sure it's 10% and not 20%!

We go from Girls, to Strip clubs, to casas, to street girls of Vera Cruz, to Robbery, Credit card fees, uber vs taxi, centro vs Poblado, back to being drugged, robbed, and safety. I love it, absolutely love it. Thanks to this forum I have been able to do a ton of research as far as what to expect, where all to stay and go, etc. Everyone's contributions are greatly appreciated. I do have a few questions before arriving that I was hoping to get answers to, but will first list out what I plan to do while there in order to give back to future members that may find it useful.
I will be staying in an AirBnB in Poblado. The building has security, and I confirmed that I will be able to have guests over; they will just have to register at the front desk. I also plan to check out the Centro Sws as well as the seen at Mayorista, but typically in previous areas I've visited (Mainly Mexico the Sws were ever only so-so at best). Does anyone recommend Mayorista anymore? I used to read about it a lot more in posts going back a few years, but not recently.
At nighttime I plan to do a bit of perusing photoprepagos as well as hitting up the Centro strip clubs. I have read about the dangers of Centro at night and have factored that into my decision to check out the strip clubs. Plan to Uber straight there and straight back. Also plan to take in the Parque Lleras scene as well, but unless something falls in my lap, not excited about overpaying just to find a casa girl that happens to be in this area.

I know there is a wealth of info on getting cash. Whether it be from ATMs or exchanges. For personal reasons I am not able to use a debit card. I will have means to cash once in the country, but my predicament is in my flight in. I am arriving early around 1-2 AM (got to love JetBlue routes) and so I assume the airport cambios won't be open. I also read that Uber is not allowed at the MDE airport. Can anyone confirm this is still a thing? If so can I pay my taxi driver with a credit card? Or should I look into a private driver that I can pay with a credit card? What would you all do in the same position?
In previous trips the price of generic Viagra / Cialis was all over the board. I could pay $10 USD for 2 pills, walk down the street and then pay $7 USD for ten pills. Are there any pharmacies anyone recommends that are known for selling it cheap? Is the price pretty much the same everywhere? If so what should I be expecting to pay?
WhatsApp. I planned to just use my typical WhatsApp number from the States but after seeing a previous post where it was mentioned that prices could vary with prepagos texting to an American number I've thought maybe I should look into other options. I could get a SIM just to setup my WhatsApp to a local number, but should I go through the cost of a cheap sim and dealing with my phone company to unlock my phone just to try to save a few bucks? Have others experienced this Gringo pricing difference before? It was the first I've read about it. Furthermore I should mention that my current plan is to use my current American phone plan as for $10/ day I can use all my data and unlimited calls / texts in Colombia. I need my phone to work as normal so I am fine paying this fee. Any other SIM card would only be purchased to setup a local WhatsApp number on my phone.
I know there will always be bait and switch. However are the photos I'm seeing on photoprepagos and mileroticos for the most part accurate? They are way better quality bodies than I am used to seeing in Mexico, and I didn't see many reports of being let down by bait and switch type situations while reading through the forums. I'm sure that question seems naive, but with all the good reviews I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

My T-Mobile worked, but at only 1 G speed. If you are using Whatsapp, it doesn't matter if you have a foreign phone number. There's no need to get a different SIM. Prepagos don't text. They use WhatsApp.
San Ignacio pharmacy on Calle 10 in Poblado has the best prices on sildenafil in Poblado. They give an extra 10% discount on Tuesday and Thursday.
The airport cambio should be open. However, if you have no other means and are worried about it, exchange some cash for pesos at your home airport. You'll get charged a ridiculous fee, but it will give you taxi money.
You can get Uber at the airport, although at 2 am may be tough. Rules for Uber in Colombia, especially anywhere around taxis: treat the driver as an acquaintance and always sit in the front.

Day 1: We arrived at the airport around 3 pm. Got to our hotel around 5 ish. Called the hotel to pick us before hand and the sent a guy to pick us up in a van. Which was 160 l pesos for 4 of us. Came to find out that was really expensive but split 4 ways it wasn't bad for me. That night we went to La Isla club. There was at least 40 chicas there not night. And a variety of everything! We all got a beer I believe it was 25 k pesos which was a crazy amount as well. I ended up going to the back with a chica in her early 30's with a great body! It was a good time though easily the hottest chick I've been with LOL. All of us paid the same price 300 k pesos for 45 minutes. Experience was good nonetheless. Went back to the hotel and got some rest.
Day 2: After breakfast we headed to New Life around 11 am. Area seemed good during the day. Walked through the blue door and got buzzed in the next 2 doors. We set in a booth and ordered some Medellin Rum which was my favorite drink out there. After I got patted down this chica came up to me and in Spanish she said it's my turn and start grabbing my dick so hey LOL. I liked her vibe and she was definitely cute enough for me to take back. Wish I would've stayed longer but I had a great experience. I understand Spanish well and I speak a little Spanish so I felt like that kind of helped. I wish I was fluent. But I will be back April 26 to May 2nd. Last I used it it allowed a max of 1 million per withdrawal, and you could make multiple withdrawals on the same transaction. You just need to re-enter your PIN for each withdrawal. Saves a few seconds if you're pulling out a lot.

Yeah, but 150 k for most is true for the facebook girls. Most are happy with 50 K if you aren't in a Poblado hotel or high end airbnb. You aren't going to get local rates in that kind of lodging. It's only fair I guess.

This has been said many times before, but it's worth repeating because it's literally the best thing I did when I first read about it on this forum a few years back. Get a Charles Schawb checkings account that requires no minimum balance, they charge no ATM fees and reimburse any third party fees worldwide.
Last year I checked the Banco Caja Social on calle 10 in Poblado and they charged an ATM fee. Maybe they have changed. BBVA Bank does not charge an ATM fee.

When I went back home and looked at my statement, I compared the amount I withdrew that day to the official exchange rate reported by Visa or Google for that day and the effective rate I received from Davividenda / Schwab is very very close to the official rate.
Example transaction, on Feb 7th I withdrew 320 k COP which is that Davividenda ATM's max amount, Schwab deducted 103.42 from my account. Visa's exchange rate calculator for that day reports 103.36. XE.com reported 3110.78 USD to COP that day, which amounts to 102.86. Visa makes about 60 cents from that exchange, not that much.

Basically if Schwab and the ATM operator does not charge you fees, any difference must come from the interbank network. In your case, since you didn't mention that the ATM didn't charge fees, I'll assume it does. It's possible then that the ATM charges more fees for certain cards or the transaction went through different interbank networks.

Wish I would've stayed longer but I had a great experience. I understand Spanish well and I speak a little Spanish so I felt like that kind of helped. I wish I was fluent. But I will be back April 26 to May 2nd. 2) A credit card can be used without the PIN, by just showing it at the shop (where they do not care to check who is the owner) or online. A debit card CANNOT be used without its PIN. Therefore, the debit card is safer.

1) You have poor credit and can't get a credit card.
2) You have no self control and will overspend on a credit card getting yourself into debt.

I'm a points wh*re and am always signing up for new cards to get signup bonuses. Over the last 5 years I have gotten tens of thousands of dollars worth of business class flights mostly to and from Asia doing this. But that is a whole other topic even further off the topic of this forum.
Note this is for purchase transactions as in a store or restaurant. For ATM withdrawals use a debit card. Pretty much all credit cards will treat a ATM transaction as a cash advance and hit you with significant fees and interest charges.

Unauthorized Credit / debit charges are covered by most if not all banks. I used to work for the compliance department at BOA and we would cover ALL unauthorized charges reported by cardholders. Read up on Regulation E, verbiage is included to cover writing your PIN on your card, you may be subject to a $50 or $500 liability (BOA has $0 liability). I've used my debit cards in Columbia multiple times in the past with no issues. If your card gets skimmed, call your bank ASAP to file a dispute, you should be reimbursed in ten biz days. Also, this only applies to US banks. I'm not sure of the procedure for other countries.
Debit cards are OK as long as you keep a close eye on your account. Unlike credit cards, if a debit card gets hacked the thief has direct access to your account funds. Most debit cards limit daily and per transaction withdrawal amounts which protects the cardholder. I avoid using debit cards for anything other than ATM withdrawals. Credit cards offer more protection but again, it's OK to use debit cards if you are careful. I haven't had problems the few times I've used debit cards in Colombia.

There are lots of deals around like that. Credit unions, various banks, other brokerages. Schwab is popular here so go with them if you don't have time to shop around. I did and found that there are better deals available.

First day Medellin.

The last day we decided to change the area and go to Centro. We went to Hotel Normandia. 50000 peso ($16 US) per night. I chose this place because of the two Strip club right on the outside. I figured all else fails we can grab a chica from one. The price was 100000-150000 and 20000 pesos exit fee. About $55 US.
It took me about three hours until I finally zeroed in on someone. Tried to contact the chica from yesterday but she told me she would be gone on Sunday. I have a theory and its just a Theory. The DR has more Afro Latina chicas there in a higher concentration than most other Latin destinations, who desires a darker chica? To my knowledge it takes more gas to travel further than it does a shorter distance, so why would the shorter distance cost more? Flight was less than half full and a pretty Dominicana was sitting in front of me with her little girl, about 5 years old. Big, curvy girl, nice look, but too thick for my taste. While waiting to take off she was taking selfies, pushing her tits up til half the nipples were showing and sending them to someone on WhatsApp. I'm sitting right behind, watching her phone screen.

Definitely get a place before landing. Maybe Normandia for the first two days and then finish off in Poblado? I also think you should have given a lot more chances to the casas. I was not saying it makes me a better person. I am saying that it is way cheaper to stay downtown and that is where I hang out anyway. So why would I pay 6 or 7 times the price to stay somewhere else then commute to where all the fun is? Last month I was in Medellin for 4 days. When I went to check out the total bill was 140,000 pesos ($45). Probably could not find a Poblado place for 1 day for what I spent for 4.
I have been to Poblado a grand total of 3 times for only a couple of hours each time. There is no reason for me to be in Poblado. First time I went because that is where the Pablo Escobar tour left from. Second time I went to show it to a buddy whose first time it was in Medellin. Third time I went I reported on last month when I was with a chick and dropped her off at the bar she works at there and I decided to walk over to Gusto's after leaving her bar. Think I was there one more time at Hooters with Advantageous and some other friends watching a football game a few years back.
I have to say for me the casas are where it's at. Also I went with a big group of friends. There was about 18 of us there. Most of the group stayed in Poblado area particularly Parque Lleras. I split an Airbnb with 3 of my friends. I think fucked one street walker my first night. Then I fucked one freelancer referred to me by a friend towards the end of the trip. Otherwise I did all my fucking at casas and strip clubs. I also took a day and walked around the city after a morning casa session at a place close to new life. I think I walked around for 3 hours and had lunch then caught the train back to Poblado. After being in both areas and looking at prices for hotels and taking into consideration the way I roll, I think I share Mr. E's sentiments. I would rather stay downtown in walking distance to all the cool local stuff and casas. I understand it's different strokes for different folks.
At Mr. E wondering if you could recommend a few hotels or places that you like stay at. Or if you don't do hotels what do you use? Airbnb / VRBO / flipkey etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. After my first trip last week I am hooked. Can't wait to get my ass back there. I have trip in the beginning of May to San Jose kind of wishing I wouldn't have booked it and just waited until after I experienced Medellin. Most likely I'll be there in June.

The DR has some of the highest taxes in the world for using their airports. Most places you only have to pay coming in or leaving out, but DR gets you coming in AND leaving out. There is less supply/seats in and out of Puerto Plata, therefore the tickets cost more. Most people that live in the area or are from the area will fly in and out of Santiago for cheaper tickets.

Compare the cost of taxis or uber, compare the costs local and imported groceries. Compare something as simple as an airport transfer in Medellin for about US $3. 00 or a US $20 taxi (the distance from the Medellin airport to the city is nearly double the distance from Santo Domingo to the airport), Dominican taxistas ask for ask for 50% to 100% more. I will give you this, rental cars are nearly twice as expensive in Colombia, but of course public transportation is cleaner, safer, and more reliable in Colombia.

I'm just having the time of my life on this vacation, I'm extremely under budget for the budget I had planned. Since there was so much talk about DR, I kind of focused on the darker shade of girls on my mongering hunt today. Decided to visit New Life early today to avoid a wait. I ended up getting there around 9:45. Before getting to the good stuff I just want to offer a little advice from what I have experienced thus far. Taxis are great and cheap when traffic is light. I have gotten in the habit of trying to go with Uber during the majority of the day. There are many more cars on the road and traffic is chaotic. With Uber you will know your rate and with the taxi, the meter is constantly running while in traffic. Unlike the 2 cancels at the airport, I have had no issues using Uber on the few areas I've visited. Keep in mind that you will need to sit up front with your Uber driver to make it appear you know each other. This is a precaution since Uber isn't technically legal here. Just my. 02.

I have seen where some people have said that the location address may not pull up correctly and for this reason I put in the destination address for Restaurante de la Pastoral. I decided to go with the last one I saw and her name was Lina. She was 22 about 5'6 and around 120 lbs. Nice MM double DS that complimented her frame. She had long brown hair and took good care of herself. Well as good as you can working in a casa I suppose. She led me to the room and we used google translator to discuss BBBJ as an addition. We agreed to 30 K. In all honesty I probably should have passed on that because it definitely wasn't her strength. After about 10 minutes she then suits me up and ask how I want it. We go through many positions before I unload. She was a little more vocal than the Chica last night and obviously didn't care if the people on the street heard her. Anyway we finished up and I gave her 30 K plus 10 K tip. I ended up staying 30 minutes so I paid the 50 K at the counter. All in all it was a great experience and I will definitely be back a few times before heading home. Next time I will skip the extras and stick with the 50 K.
I also met up with the Chica from Colombian Cupid. We had lunch and she is coming to spend the night with me tonight. She is 24 and all natural. She is not a prepaid so I'm hoping for some serious GFE as she was very affectionate today at lunch. I'll fill you all in on the details tomorrow. About to head out to Parque Lleras while the weather is cooperating.
Sorry. Maybe I should have been a little more clearer. The club was great but I don't recommend going to that area alone at night with limited communication skills. Lesson learned but this is not a reflection on the club. It's all on me.
I don't get it, what is it that you are recommending guys don't do? It seems like it worked out really well for you. Now that you know the place is called Conejitas you will probably not have trouble getting there next time. The 15 k fare from Poblado is not bad at all. The uber cancellations are not unusual. You have to give yourself extra time, especially during rush hour and when it's raining. Thanks for sharing.
