I believe it's because Colombia a very religious, Catholic country. Although they tolerate the sex trade, they don't flaunt it.Correct, flaunting it is the job of the foreigners which is a constant source of irritation here. Please know that that girl, no matter how nice she appears, is, and will be spotted as a hooker immediately and the guy a monger sex tourist.

Ironic but the same situation but the old man is Colombian seems to not draw attention. Try to stay out of public with that. Thank you!

PD: If you are bringing your own and wish to arrive on the beach and check into a hotel with proven women in tow possibly hit San Andres or Santa Marta, more laid back, less crap. Looking to pick up while you are there? Cartagena.

What about out the Pacific side? Your best bets would be Cartagena, Santa Marta, and San Andres, all in the Caribbean. While Cartagena may be a bit of a zoo, the Islas del Rosario are only a boat ride away.

GlobeT, I would never be intimidated by the casas, once you get
thru the door, they are always happy to see you (no guys, no service, no dough).

I would reckon two main reasons, first, as was posted, is that Colombia is a very Catholic country, and they don't want it flaunted, second, and somewhat at cross-purposes with the first, is the high level of crime in Medellin relative to Thailand. While everybody probably knows approximately where the casas are, by posting big signs I think they would be asking for serious trouble, for the owners and the girls. It has always been easy for me to find the places, but having a little Spanish can really help, if you do find the wrong address.

Please don't go casa running with lists of casas out in view in the casa itself with staff present. This is something that I witnessed since I am currently here. Discretion can't be emphasized enough for this locale. Dress appropriately, don't speak english loudly, be friendly, and blend in. Please.

Use stickys and put them in your wallet or use another small piece of paper with the names and addresses of the casas on them. But pulling out folded pages of 8 by 11 paper is not a good look at all IMHO.

Party this this week Sep 4th and 5th both days, if you are in Medellin this week, this is a good party to go, party in in Envigado, direction or on the link below.

50,000 peso all you can drink and eat

There will be 50 + girls locals and prepagos

More pictures from the party

I will be in Medellin from Sep 3rd through the 11th, please PM if you like to go clubbing and attend the Romancelatina party on Sep 4th,
http://www.romancelatina.com/faq.php

I am also open to exchanging phone no of girls and exchange notes and info on girls, I may be travelling to Santa fe and finca with few girls. They asked me 600K for two full days with 2 girls, as much sex as you want, very good looking college girls.
I am also posting the pictures of the girls(prepagos), I think all the girls in MDE are prepagos, they just do not want you to know they work.

I have a question about how safe Medellin is. I hear a lot of conflicting reports here on this website about how safe Columbia is in general, but I am solely interested in Medellin. I am planning to go there next month and was wondering about any precautions I should take outside the norm. I would welcome as many people as necessary to PM me so that I can make an informed decision.

I know there is a special thread here for this, but the reason I decide to post here is because I think that I would get a better response on this thread.

I have carried the Lists with me to most of the places I checked out. Maybe I had one or two Madams ask what they were. I pointed out to some that their prices were too high. Most were glad to add the information to help bring in more customers.

Most of time when I am going to one to get laid, I check out the List before I enter.
I will agree that is most likely the best way to do it. Although, I know of a few guys that pointed out the price after they were told a higher price, and were not overcharged.

But, of course prices do change.

Remember the places were set up by the locals for the locals, so a few extra tourists are a bonus for them.

I have been to Medellin I did not really care about safety. I was fighting for the right to visit my children but trying to take care of animal urges as well.

I walk local to the hotel (and the street near the museum where the lovelies prance); the only difference between now and then is I do not have a the face of someone who is looking to get the shit kick out of him. I am always alert and never drunk, over eating or too tired. Thank GOD to date have never been mugged, robbed or threated only asked for assistance.

For now. I have no problem visiting with the children so therefore I do have more of a concern (and reports indicate there is more of a concern but I have not changed my evening pattern in any way. I still stay at the Hotel Odeon because at 25.000 I get an OK nights sleep. It is close to all the trouble I want by night or day. To get laid you really do not have to spend 100.000 or more per night.

When you going to be there and I can show you what I am taking about PM me I will be there from Sept. 3 until 8 (leaving 9). I am not a good mongering guide but I will show you how I managed these past three years since I have been staying in Medellin.

I know there is a special thread here for this, but the reason I decide to post here is because I think that I would get a better response on this thread.I'm just back from a week in MDE. Stayed in Laureles, frequented El Centro and hit Mayorista. I would not say that MDE is the safest place, but also not a place to be terribly scared about. Keep your wits about you and follow the simple rules that apply to any travel in a large city and/or the third world.

Dress well but not flashy. Don't wear jewelery. Keep you money and documents in separate pockets and such. Don't get drunk in public. Carry as little money as possible, and if confronted, especially with a weapon, turn it over and write it off. Avoid confrontations, even if you are 100% correct, it often is just not worth it. Don't be loud and draw attention to yourself.

As was said to me once on a flight to Mumbay, India, 'Don't hang your ass out the window.'

Look, crime can happen anywhere, and though poor places are often more likely locals for this the risk is just part of the equation of travel. If you want to be completely safe you'll need to stay home.

Thanks to all that responded to my first time post on this thread (you know who you are). I am planning to be there sometime at in mid to early October in hopes of securing work there. I have lived almost everywhere in the world close to am major metropolitan city in the US. I have also lived in the third world as well as in China. I guess I could always find someone that has something bad to say about the places I am going to and they probably have their own agendas also. I have never but myself is a position where I was robed at gun point or anything like that. Some small theft like pickpockets or something like this, and I am usually angry about it for a day, then I forget about it. Out of all the responses I have had none were negative so I guess I will be there at the time stated. Maybe one or more then one of you would like to have a beer, If so then PM me.

Cheers

While in Medellin I have looked up a girl that I knew in St Maarten, and dated a girl that I met on colombiancupid.com (a non-pro, highly educated) and an obvious prepago that I met on romancelatina.com (I gave her the option of having a client or a boyfriend and she chose boyfriend. But that of course is more costly for me).

Saturday morning I went to try the casas in El Centro for the first time. I wasn't expecting much as the reports here seem to emphasize gorditas and the need to visit many casas. From the Medellin list, I made a list of streets and the addresses on those streets. I didn't bother with casa names, since none that I saw had signs. For example:

CL 53 #42-56 and #42-74 (these did not answer and neighbors said they were closed).

CL 54 #42-13 (bought a coke, was presented with 6 pretty girls in bikinis, all very slim and doable. Decided to look for some more casas/girls)

K 43 #55-35

At the second casa that I entered, I sat in the lounge with a colombian guy, chatted with him, then was presented with 7 very doable girls. No gorditas, one pretty morena, one tall girl, all in bikinis, no silicon.

I caught a twinkle in the eye of L (and she stayed to say Hello, for 10 seconds instead of only 1 second). It isn't easy to notice much with 1 second introductions. It is just a whirl of semi-naked girls. I paid the lady in charge 40k pesos for 1 hour and my slim brunette took me upstairs to a big clean room with a queen size mattress on the floor. I found this more comfortable than a massage table and more comfortable than a normal bed because I could easily sprawl and overflow the bed with my legs on the floor from time to time.

I gave the girl some hugs and kisses and a massage and DATY to completion and the resulting session was very good. We had just returned from the shower wrapped in the 2 towels provided when there was a knock on the door. She asked if I had a cellphone and gave me her number and asked me to call.

I was very pleased with the experience. On a busy shopping Saturday the neighborhood seemed quite normal and as safe as most in El Centro (lots of beauty school students and families on the sidewalks, etc.). The girl was as good as most Colombianas that I have enjoyed in Medellin and Bogota and st Maarten. The price was dirt cheap. The bed was comfortable. I got a fresh towel to shower with.

What is not to like for $20.

It has always been easy for me to find the places, but having a little Spanish can really help, if you do find the wrong address. That does make me feel better, to understand the why the casas are so underground and to know that foreigners are welcomed. My Spanish is very decent (although I don't know specifics like sexual services will need to study! ) so I don't think that will be a problem. If foreigners are welcome, then they will probably be elated to see a foreigner that speaks decent Spanish with money, LOL.

ZingThis is CLASSIC ADVICE on how to manage the casas. Zing watched the girls, took notice of the one that had a "twinkle" and took advantage by taking the time to please her.

Then, she offered the cell number, another classic sign. Use the casa's as your daytime interview locations. I found it the best way to meet some really hot girls, sample the goods, and then if it worked out, have a callback for later.

Aussie Greg.Maybe Frank, like so many others, simply got tired of the threats, intimidation, and flexing of egotistical penis's of the "old guard" there in Medellin and just chose to fall under the radar. Its unfortunate that so many here do that, and leaves a great multitude of us running down and not reporting, OR willing to read the abuse here on the board.

Been a week or so since the bomb killed some 23 in the plaza, sad but the news is reporting that all persons need careful. Especially TOURIST! Colombia is still in transition and all need be aware that running around in Bermuda shorts and sandalls may not be a good idea. Drees like you live here, nt like you're at the beach. I have lived in Colombia some 5 years now and find the Americans tend to be loud and mouthy on vacation here, it gives us all a bad wrap. So when you're out in Medellin take the time to reflect where you are, you're not in Arkansas Mr. Clinton. Please be kind and polite when asking or recieving any service, you're an ambasador of the USA. I hope all of you enjoy the beauty of Colombia not just the women, its a great country to live in. I pray it doesn't become like so many countries in Latin America, exñ Cosat Rica, where big mouth, big buck, big asshole Americans screw things up. And if Frank Casio moved to other venues, God bless him, maybe he is one of the early outs before it gets Americanized., just my 2 cents.

Hey guys,

I havn't gone anywhere, just too busy with my guests and phucking Paisas. Too much to write about, got lazy. The swinger bars and all the guys there giving me their wives and girlfriends in exchanhe for my pre-pagos are keeping me a little busy. The last guy had me phuck his girlfriend or wife, whatever, in the ass! I'm always here monitorin the post and I PM guys directly. Oh, and also, WorldTravel69 posted a Weblink with pics. of My Place in the Medelin Hotels and Rental Apartments´ thread in his Apartments list #18. This allows me to feel more relaxed about you guys getting My Place info.

I did want to comment on the fact that Medellin is "paradise" for all you guys with small "packages". Paisas prefer smaller Dicks, since their "love hole" tends to be on the small side. I just spent last Sunday with Karolina and her friend Nataly, and I could only get 3/4s of my package into Karolina's nice tight pussy, and I'm not even that big. I'm glad Nataly was there to finish me off with total penetration. You can ask Panama Mike about this, he sometimes gets tired of girls complainning about his "package". Some of you bigger guys need to bring a lot of lubricant, and just be extra sweet and gentle with these small "pussys"!

Frank Casio!

It has been a while since I'm back from Medellin. I had a great time with a few local chicks there.

Partly thanks to Jimy, a bilingual driver I was referred to by this forum. If you speak no English, then Jimy would be a very good guy to call. He always give you options and you can choose. He introduced me to a very nice local chick.

His cell is 314 870 6228. PM me for more info.

The article kind of begs the question: "What was a soccer reveler doing walking around the park with a grenade?"

And why did he not read the intructions that came with the grenade?

Medellin last night:

Blast during Colombian soccer celebration kills 1
September 06, 2009 00:41 EDT

-- Police in Colombia say a grenade exploded in a crowd celebrating a national soccer team win, killing one person and wounding at least 30.

Antioquia state police commander Col. Luis Eduardo Martinez says three of the wounded are in serious condition. The blast took place Saturday night in central Medellin, Colombia's second-largest city, after the national soccer team beat Ecuador 2-0.

Martinez said the cause of explosion is not yet known, but police think a reveler may have accidentally detonated the grenade by mishandling it.

He said police ruled out a terrorist attack.

The plaza where the explosion took place -- Parque San Antonio -- was the site of a 1995 terrorist attack that killed 23 people

Hey, speaking of Colombia, I just got back, from Medellin.

Great time as always!

Hung with the cats from the Castillo and of course the Aussie G.

I'll tell ya what, Boyd, el dueno del Castillo missed his calling.

Should have been a chef. What a great cook. Really!

Anyway, I really spent most of my time with a particular Paisita that I dig, (the blondie in the fotos).

Of course, because I also love 'la piel de chocolate' (the chocolate skin), I met a beautiful Paisa de chocolate to keep me company too.
Hard to believe I met her on la calle (the street).
I saw her, met her, we hung out a bit, she saw that I was a pretty cool cat and from there the 'love' just flowed.
Once again, we never talked dinero, she gave a great massage too, hung till morning time and I gave her whatever I felt.
I saw her 3 nights. Hope to see her again.

The blondie and the chocolate, best of both worlds ehh.

Loved them both, I'll be back muy pronto, after suffering another few weeks in Brasil, oh but what a way to suffer :)

Gents,

Many of you who have seen my photo work before may notice that I almost never take any pictures of the Medellin Mansion gals outdoors. I usually would rather just enjoy relaxing poolside when I am outside.

Well last Friday a MM gal asked me to take her picture outside and I did and before I knew it I was snapping away at several of the MM gals that were invited over that afternoon.

I always enjoy the look on a girls face when she sees the beauty of her image as I process her pictures minutes later with my portable battery operated HP 375 printer.

I usual don't like taking outdoor pics due to the debris and clutter in the background and I hate to mess with the F stops to blurr out the background. However, on this particular day the pool area was exceptionally well organized for a photo shoot.

I hope you enjoy these "outdoor" pics for now. I have many more "indoor" pics and a report of my trip last week to the MM in the process and cumming soon!

Stay Horny My Friends,

Cubanut

FYI- These are numbers 1-10 pics, next post will have 11-20.

Damn, I think I read through at least 10 pages on this thread. I feel like my eyes are about to bleed!!

Anyways... I'm curious if anyone can offer any extra info on the customs checks at the airports. I was planning to bring my photography equipment with me. Never had any problems traveling with it through other countries, but I'm almost always asked to open up my bag so they can see that it's really a camera and lenses (which I have no problem doing).

I'm just wondering since security seems to be so anal there, if they're going to red flag me for carying camera gear?

I arrived here in Medellin and went diectly to a good hotelin in mi novias taxi. She owns 3.

We spent a lovely night together. Today I noticed that when she walks down the sidewalk men turn their heads and follow her with their heads until she is out of sight.

Not like the USA when you just follow a woman with your eyes.

Today she was wearing an amazing one piece wool fom fitting outfit that fit her perfectly. She is about 95 pounds petite and with an amazing pair of mamas and great legs, flat belly.

About an hour later she was walking along a very fast moving street and one driver turned his head to see her and rear ended the car in front of him. The third driver also lost concentration and caused a 3 car accident. I could not stop laughing for a half an hour.

Had dinner tonight at a very fine restaurant "the white heaven"

No, you're not going to have a problem. A friend of mine, who took the first set of photos for my site (see below, just in case you're wondering...) visited me a while ago with his gear and had no problems at all.

If your stuff is still in it's original boxes, they might suspect that you're going to sell the gear. You're limited to importing goods not worth more than $1,500.

If your stuff is obviously used, you won't have a problem.

First vicitm of the Police Chiefs and Mayors efforts to curb Sex Tourist was hit yesterday, First the curfews on the Strip clubs in Centro, now, Casa Verde on Calle 58 can now be struck from the list, the sign and locked door reads "Sellado" De Order Policia Metropolitna De Cuidad Medellin, or closed by the order of the Metropolitan Police of Medellin. Anyone want to venture a guess what list they have to use to find the places.

Sad but true, big brother is watchin.

Medellin Trip Report (August 15 to August 22, 2009)

This was my second trip to Medellin. The first trip was at the end of May 2009 and I have stayed at Frank’s “My Place” at Mayorista for less than a week. The price for one week was only US $150.00 and the apartment was reasonably clean. Frank showed me how to get around the Medellin using the Metro and the Bus transportation. He gave me the tour to the supermarkets, Centro Casas, Strip Bars and the disco clubs. As being the first time in Medellin it was worthwhile experience at “My Place.”

The second time I have decided to stay at the famous Medellin Mansion. On Saturday morning of August 15, 2009 I left JFK Airport to Medellin via Miami Airport. Due to unexpected storm and plane’s mechanical problem the AA plane was diverted and landed on West Palm Beach Airport. As the plane was landing there were eight to ten emergency fire truck and police vans were coming toward the plan. It was like seeing the Hollywood movie on terrorism. I had to stay in Miami hotel overnight until next available flight to Medellin which was Sunday morning.

The plane laded on Medellin around 2pm and after the passport control and customs clearance I went upstairs to draw some Colombian Pesos from the available ATM machine. As I walked out of the airport, there were number of taxis waiting in line for the customers. I accepted the offer from a taxi driver who gave me a ride to San Diego for 13k Pesos (US $6.50) along with three other people to share ride. At San Diego, I took another taxi to Mansion in Poblado for 4k Pesos (US $2.00).

Boyd (one of the three owners) of the Mansion Hotel greeted me, registered me and gave me quick orientation and keys. After unpacking and relaxing in the room, I went out to the Mansion pool where number of guests was chitchatting with chicas. I joined the conversation and took attractive 24 year old Natalia to Parque Lleras for a dinner. When we came back to Mansion we went to my room for the session. The price she quoted was 150k pesos for an hour and 250k pesos for TLN. I negotiated the price down to 200k and went for action. Natalia told me that she have majored environmental science from the university but she was now designing clothes with her sister 30 year old Cristina who is also partime prepago at the Mansion. Natalia was nice and calm but in the bed she was a wild animal. Maybe I was tired from the long flight but she wore me out completely.

On Monday, I went to Oviedo Mall, took some Pesos out from ATM and bought some drinks, munches, and other room supplies at the ground level supermarket in the Mall. On way back to Mansion I took a cab waiting right outside of the market. Monday was Colombian holiday and many stores were closed. I walked up to the Poblado Metro and took the train to Parque Berrios and went to Museo Antioquia for a tour. The entrance to the museum was free but they would not allow any picture or video be taken in the exhibits.

I bought sliced mangos with lemon and salt for 1k pesos and ate them while walking toward the casas. Most casas were closed for the holiday but New Life was still in business. There were two additional gates before going up the stairs. As I went in the locked gates were remotely opened and I proceeded toward the upstairs. A doorman greeted me and asked me to seat in the chair. I took out the pen and notebook and I was ready for the action. The girls came by one by one smiling and telling me of their names. I chose 23 year old Sofia for the session because she had a nice ass. The price was 48k pesos for an hour (including drink?). Sofia was nice but did not have the kind of energy that Natalia displayed on the night before but the session ended nicely.

When I came back to Mansion there were number of guys and chicas chitchatting. I joined in the conversation, drank some beers with them and decided to take 19 year old Jenifer for the session. She demanded 150k pesos for an hour and 300k pesos for TLN. I opted for TLN and took her out to Parque Lleras for a dinner. After that we went straight for the session in my room at the Mansion. Jenifer was the girl with nice ass but did not have the energy or the experience to please me. The sex wasn’t bad but it was OK.

On Tuesday, I went to Abydos near the stadium to check it out. The receptionist at the entrance guided me to upstairs and as I was seating on the sofa, number of chicas came one by one wearing white robes. As each of them approached me each unrobed and showed the bikinis; all of them had fabulous bodies. I chose 20 year old Juliana who looked very sexy to me. The price was 90k for an hour. In the room the mattress was flat on the floor without bed. We took the shower first and Juliana gave me the body massage using the oil. As I got hard on we have finished the session with a straight sex. Doggy and Missionary and it was a great sex!

Came back to Mansion and chitchatted with guests and went to Mayorista to check it out for old time sakes. As I was having the dinner, I saw eight military policemen there stopping and searching every cars and motorcycles at the side the street. I thought that this has something to do with the assassination of Face II owner. At the same time the number of prepagos, johns and hotels were doing the business as usual. Music was playing loud from the bars as the time approaches deeper in the night. I found no chica interesting to me so I took a taxi and went to San Diego Strip Bar.

There was no entrance fee to San Diego bar but the drinks were pricy for the Colombian standard. The price of can of beer or soda was 10k pesos. Each chica danced on the stage until naked and then solicited tips from the customers. There were lots of nice looking chicas in the bar. I chose 19 year old Sara for the session. The price for the session was 140k for an hour. The room was small but the GFE sex with Sara was good. She drained my nuts for the night. When I came back to Mansion, I saw the driver, Fernandes who told me that next day he was giving a Medellin tour to number of Castello hotel guests. He couldn’t put me in the tour group because there’s no more space in the van.

On Wednesday morning, Greg (one of hotel owner) told me that I would not need Fernades for the tour as I could speak Spanish and he would call a chica to give me the tour. 19 year old beautiful Isabel came to Mansion and we went out to take a taxi. First we went to the grave site of Pablo Escobar. The grave was flat in the public cemetery and very modest for the one time wealthy drug dealer in the past. The next stop was Pueblito Paisas where we had Paisa lunch. Isabel took the rum and I took Pilsen for the drink. After the lunch, we went to see the Aquarium at the Parque Explora. The Aquarium was nice but was modest compare to the ones such as in Baltimore, MD or Sea World, CA. After the tour we came back to Mansion and ended our affair with a nice session in my room. She did not ask but I gave her 300k pesos for the day and she seemed happy with that. I liked her to see her on the next day and she said she would like to come back 7pm on following day because she had to attend the modeling class. When she comes I asked her to give me another tour to various disco clubs tomorrow. We said farewell each other with kisses.

It was the evening and at the pool, I saw two guys from New York City who just arrived to Medellin. They were staying at Castello hotel because all rooms were booked at the Mansion. They accepted my offer for the quick tour to Mayorista and we took the taxi to get there. We had delicious Paisa dinner together for 6k pesos per person in the Mayorista restaurant. There were number of prepagos soliciting for the business as usual. After the dinner, we walked up to Ayura Metro station, took a train and got off at Parque Berrios. I showed them strip bars including Conejitas, Americana, Maracaido and Ejecutivo Strip Bar. In the strip bars, we called the dancers to join us and negotiated with them for the take outs prices for the sessions. I translated for these guys but they decided not to take these chicas and we came back to Mansion dead drunk after going through four bars.

After splitting with them around 11pm I found Geraldine with her cousin at the Mansion lobby. Geraldine accepted my offer for the dinner and we went to Parque Lleras after dropping off her cousin at Mayorista, where I saw Gealdine’s brunet middle age mother who looked very pretty. Although Geraldine was doable, I did not want to pursue session with her at that time. Fortunately, after the dinner at Parque Lleras, someone from Castello called her and asked her for TLN and she accepted.

Although it was raining on Thursday noon, I took the metro to Prado station to explore Lindas Chicas. As I went in I was disappointed that there were only two chicas available for the session. The place was almost empty. The Mamasan told me that during the evening there will be more chicas available. The two chicas came by anyway and I took 18 year old skinny chica for the session. The room price was 80k pesos and 100k for the one hour session. We took the shower and went straight for sex. The sex was nice and the chica offer to give me the body massage but I refused. The drained nuts were good enough for me at that time.

Came back to Mansion and found five guests chitchatting with seven chicas at the table near the pool. I joined them for a conversation, drank beers and waited for my date to show up. Isabel came to Mansion around 7pm and we decided to go to the Italian restaurant with the guests and their dates. The food was good and after the dinner some of us decided to head off to disco clubs and we had a great time at Mangos and Babylon. After dancing and saying farewell to our friends it was 3am when we came back to Mansion. We took quick shower, had sex and spooned together naked all night; and that was nice. I will definitely see Isabel again tomorrow evening.

On Friday noon I took the metro to Sabaneta to get away from Medellin. I went there alone and wished that I took chicas with me for the tour. I got out at Itagui station and bought a hat at Mayorca Mall and took a taxi. At Sabaneta, I went to Viejo John restaurant where I ate authentic delicious Paisa dish for the lunch. Unlike Medellin centros, Sabaneta was nice quiet village with number of good Paisa restaurants. When I return to Medellin, I would definitely return to this place again and explore further.

On my way back to Mansion I took a taxi at Poblado station and took a taxi and went to Loutron which was located at the high on the steep hill. I gave the taxi fare for the driver and went in the Loutron as the gate was opened. The landscape looked somewhat like Japanese resident. There were fountains, rocks, streams and stone stairs. The receptionist guided me to the waiting room and called for chicas. I took out my pen and notebook to take the name down. As I sat on the sofa, chicas came one by one disrobing their white robes showing their bodies in bikinis. All of them were beautiful. The price of one hour session was 185k and 210k with lap dance. I chose beautiful 21 year old Andrea for one hour session with lap dance.

The room was decorated in oriental taste and like Abydos there was a mattress without bed lying on the floor. Andrea took a shower before I did. She gave me the lab dance rubbing her ass on me, asked me to lie down on the mattress and gave me the body massage with oil. Then she sprayed alcohol on me before giving me the BJ without condom. We finished the session with missionary and doggy style. My nuts were happily drained as I was leaving the Loutron.

Came back to Mansion and found same guys chitchatting with chicas. They were all going to eat dinner together again at other Italian restaurant. I did not want to eat another Italian so when Isabel arrived we went off to “Donde Bupos” restaurant to eat “Robalo Con Tres Quesos” which she orded. I chose stake for the dinner and ordered bottle of Chilean wine. It was raining, so after the dinner we have decided to bypass the clubs and spent last night together in my room. In the bed Isabel gave me more than her usual energy for the sex. She turned me around from the missionary position and got on top of me for the rodeo ride and I screamed, Heh Ha! We went back to missionary and she screamed with a pleasure and drilled her nail deep into my skin on my back. I had to carry this scratch mark on my back for two weeks! We spooned together naked until the morning. We bid farewell in the morning and I don’t know whether I would see her again. I miss her!

Now I am back in the state and will be going to Vitoria, Brazil this Sunday, September 13, 2009 for about two weeks on business. I am looking forward to find another interesting encounters and sexual adventures there.

You can bring anything you want, and they are really not that ¨anal ¨.

You can bring up to 1,500 dollars of value in stuff.I think that's stuff that's not going to stay in the country.

I don't think there's a limit of stuff you're going to take with you when you leave. Certainly no one raised an eyebrow at 3 laptops and a suitcase full of other computer, photo, and video gear.

Peterstud,

Not sure if you intentionally left out the amount that you paid Isabel, which I assume is the one in the following two pics, for TLN. Could you please tell us what you paid for each of the two nights? Would Greg/MM regularly provide this kind of talent? I know there seem to be a lot of talent in MM, but Isabel seems to stand out distinctly even in this crowd.

Thank you very much.

Fyi, Masajistas Paisas is 30k for 30 min and 40k for 1 hour.

The girl who open's the gate doesn't know shit.

Once you go up, The Madam will present you with a Menu with all the prices. To do offer other service, though I've never tried.

Last time there back in April they had about 8-10 girls and about half that were very doable. Around 11am-12pm is the best time.

Masajistas Paisas Stopped by today and the girl who came to the gate said it was 80K for 80 minutes. Now, that may have been because I had flip flops on and she could tell I was a gringo (finally got tired of trying to blend in. Or at least not stick out so much LOL). I asked about 30 minutes or 45 minutes but she said no so I said no gracias and bounced to:

I went to Medellin for the first time this past March I had a great time but I was traveling alone and was not familiar with this site. So I did not go to Mayorista, or any of the casas. I used a website, they overcharged me and the girls did not do everything they said they would do.

I will be in Medellin on Sept 29 and I want girls that the board can recommend that are willing for TLN, BBBJ, and willing to do more. I would appreciate any information anyone can provide since I would rather go with a lady that has been recommended.

Thank you.

Thank youConrad,

It's understandable that people like yourself (myself included) would like info from people on the ground about who will give you what, etc and what is the price, etc. I'm not here to plug anyone's business but MM & El Castillo are your best bets. Their staff will be of help and you will find other guest to be a great source of current info. There are other places that you see on this site that offer help when you stay with them. However, speaking for a place that I've been a few times, MM & El Castillo are bed and breakfast establishments qnd despite what anyone writes here they do not get a cut and do not cotrol prices, etc. In my opinion asking in an open forum like this for prices, services, etc are inappropriate and for sure a waste of time. Also, why would anyone provide info on girls that they know/like to a person that they don't know anything about. Think about it. And last but not least for the most part you will not see the best looking of the girls that you will find there. I have plenty of pics but I got them with the promise of keeping them private and I am sure this is the same for most other guys who take pics for their personal enjoyment and a select few members of this site that they trust. No offense meant by my remarks, just trying to help. Markinno (Mark52 on CRT).

Conrad,

CHThere's no point getting names. What one girl does for one guy they might not do with another. It's a big YMMV with Colombian girls. If you speak spanish and are nice, doors will open. Otherwise go to the gringo oriented hotels such as Mansion, Franks, Parcero, PaisaLover, etc and get some suggestions. Even then there is no guarantee.

This could go into the aids forum but because my experience was in Medellin, Bogota and Cartagena I thought I would post here.

I have been to Colombia about 10 times. I never had sex with any p4p w/o protection but I did with others that could have been p4p but never charged me and that I met in random bars. Most were students, LOL. Anyway, my girl here in the USA gets a weird rash onher leg and we end up going to the doctors office and no one knows wtf it is! Well, I have slept with about 60 women in my life and mostly protected. Never been tested for HIV. I'm freaking for 3 weeks before I tell her what is on my mind. Finally I got tested last week and the doctor called me today and said I'm HIV.! Negative

During that time I read a lot about hiv and Colombia is very close to those african nations in Hiv rates. Google it."countries leading with HIV".

47000 girls between the ages of 15 and 24 have hiv in Colombia.

I know you guys are smart but I just wanted to let you in on my nightmare.Guess what? If they did it with you w/o protection, they did it with others w/o protection. Why do you think so many girls under the age of 24 has kids? Why take a risk especially if you have a girl back home?

I don't think Colombia HIV rate is anywhere close to Africa. Last time I checked, Africa was around 10%! Colombia was around .5%.. Higher than some countries but not nearly has high as Africa!

You should read the STD forum on this site if you're really worried.

Whats up guys I; m a 20 year old student in Medellin. I just got here and I will be here for a month. Does anyone want to go to a casa tonight or tomorrow night message me if you want, I do not want to go alone, so a wing man would be very appreciated.

Thanks a lot.I'll be there next week if you still need a wing.

If you speak spanish, you should be able to get by yourself. If you don't, it's useful to get someone to take you one time so you know the drill. After that you should be able to go on your own. You could look up Frank or Boyd and see when they do their casa runs and tag along.

Hello guys,

Be careful with drugs being mixed in the drinks by chicas, I invited a girl to my apartment on the last day of my trip, we were drinking and she asked me for glass of ice, I left my drink with her and went to get her some ice, i.e is it !!!!!!, she mixed something that knocked me out, I still cannot remember what happend between 10:00 and 12:00 PM that day. Lucky me , I only had about 100K in my wallet, she stole everything. Not much ! but be carefull with Chicas in Medellin. She told me I lost the money else where, while I was looking for taxi money for her. The apartment did have security and all. She could not leave with my laptop and camera etc.

Just a warning!

Guess what? If they did it with you w/o protection, they did it with others w/o protection. Why do you think so many girls under the age of 24 has kids? Why take a risk especially if you have a girl back home?

I don't think Colombia HIV rate is anywhere close to Africa. Last time I checked, Africa was around 10%! Colombia was around .5%.. Higher than some countries but not nearly has high as Africa!

You should read the STD forum on this site if you're really worried.

I don't do much mongering in Medellin anymore, having bought an apartment here and having a car. I know the non-mongering spots in the city quite well and if there's anybody out there that needs friendly advice, pm me. I speak spanish. I know where there are casas.

And I need to report I now am a statistic. I was robbed! Not on the street or by knife or gun but in the Hotel/Hostel I have come to trust.

I have been staying with Odeon, near Parque Bolivar since April 2008 and have trusted them leaving things in the room without trying to stash them.

On Friday, I return to my room about 3pm and it was not in order but everything was in place. I pick up the folded shirt which was covering my charging cel phone and put the shirt I removed over the cel. I left the room about 3:45 pm to spend the rest of the day with my family only to return at 11:45 pm to find my room in order but my cel phone missing.

I immediately reported this to the front desk who called the manager and it was agreed there is nothing that can be done at that time. The next day the room cleaner was said to be about two month pregnant was conveniently incapacitated the next day and would not answer the phones. First, she could not leave the home then she was at the clinic then she could not come to the phone. Yesterday morning the hotel was in touch with this person and to no surprise, she did not touch the phone. I had 800.000 COP, a JVC HD camcorder in luggage, yet only the phone and the charge was taken; hum, could have been robbers that did not check for other valuables, and just settle for a password protected Blackberry.

If you were thinking, no it was not a conquest, as I have never brought a girl home to the room. For the rates of that place, should I need "a room" I would just get a second. This is just to inform you and not to condemn Medellin in any way. I still enjoy the city and find it no less safe that the New York I passed through as a young'in.

Should anyone be at the hotel anytime soon ask them about the gringo who was missing the phone, I would love hear what they have to comment after all I did walk out without paying the 75.000 COP that was due. Fair trade for having to explain to my bosses why my work cel is not missing. NOT!

Dear all, after one year, I've been back to Medellin for 3 days.
Let me take the freedom to self-cite myself, to save some words and writing effort and to report only what's different:
Center of Medellin street scene
806767
Night street scenes in El Centro
807816

Most of what I wrote one year ago is still there. Not much changed.
Let me report only the news.

CENTRO - PLAZA BOTERO

Cheap hotels in El Centro (53, Greiff) apparently rose their prices. I have been asked up to 12k for the room por un ratito! In only one, the price was 6k (last year, 4k-5k).
Girls still ask 10-25k, depending how who they are and how they look.

Bars are less populated than one year ago. I did not see many nice girls there. Nothing that could be defined as "fresh", if you understand me... Only old-seasoned pros.

Glue-sniffers are still there, hanging around at any time day and night. Be careful. I have seen one night a group of 10 kids assaulting a man with small backpack and his gf, like 10 wolves on a bison. No arms or knifes, only 20 hands exploring his body all together to find money to steal. Nobody helped him, so I guess he lost his wallet.

This really concerned me, so I was even more prudent in walking around at night in that streets.

LA MAYORISTA

There is a new law of the municipality of Itagui. Except Saturday (maybe Friday too?), all bars close at midnight!! On Sat, at 2am. They call it "Ley Seca". Dont forget it, if you head there by taxi around 12am, as I did with major disappointment.
Girls are not so sexy and young as I remembered one year ago. All are old-seasoned pros. (I sampled one Saturday night, i.e. when it should be best). Some of them are still there since last year. I remember the Asian, for example. She is very beautiful, but dont expect anthing close to GFE from her.

SAN DIEGO

The second major spot of Medellin for SWs, besides Greiff and 53. Here, it is not possible to walk around at night. Streets are desolated and lonely. Also, action is spread over a wide area. The only way is by car. I hired a taxy for one hour (20k), we actually spent more, hunting for girls and even commenting.
On the average, expect less interesting girls than in the bars and streets of El Centro.

Maybe the end of Medellin as a safe and great spot to Monger for those who are on a budget, food, hotels, sexo prices, they are all on the rise and with the low dollar value its even worse. The theft is up here, drugging tourist, powder in the face to render you helpless, I have heard more horror stories this past month than I have heard in my 4 years here. Just be careful, they are getting bolder as the economy shrinks, if you're looking for the next best place try Managua or Lima, David33 is a great source for girls and Lima is off the chain for food and cost, going next month from Medellin if thats not proof of how bad it is here, well suit youreself.

The end for who? You may be leaving to Lima for a vacation but you'll be returning to Medellin? Right? So what does that say? Also, aside from the tourist mongers, the Colombians themselves are some of the greatest partakers of mongering in Medellin. Think they are gonna up and leave their own country?

Perhaps the six pack monger may shy away due to the economics and perhaps the feint of heart may think twice due tdrugging, powder, theft etc. But the majority of fellas I have met in my Medellin travels have been level headed seasoned veterans of the game always willing to take on a newbie and show them the ropes.

The economics of the dollar in Brazil is even worse than Colombia yet thousands of mongers still flock there yearly. And this is despite the prices in Brazil being 2 to 3 times higher than Colombia across the board (room & board, food, venues, sex). On top of the much higher occurrence of theft, drugging etc.

I guess if I lived full time in Medellin I'd want it to be my private paradise as you seem to wish it to be. That is you and a million male Paisas that live in Medellin as well.

Cheers,

Please don't get me wrong, I still love my home here in Medellin, and yes the Colombian people are the best! Things will always change, no matter how well we try and preserve them. I just want the tourist who travel here to have a heads up on current times. I personally know 4 people who have been the vicitm of street crimes that may not have happened as recent as last year. Over the top of the cab on entry purse snatch, pick pocket, armed robbery and car jacked, these are a few. And yes a typical day in Miami, but this is Colombia, not Miami. On the rise are intimidations by the Para in some areas, last week an American was being extorted by some group for protection against kidnapping, he had enough and went to the Police in Itagua, they captured the felons but what will be the reprocusions, who knows, Colombian women are the best, just be careful when here. And Cubanut, yes I would love to keep this a playground for myself but thats not reality is it. And at last count the ratio of pre pagos to gringos was 1000 to one, so, hehehehehhee, play on my friends, play on.

I am in Medellin September 30 to October 5. PM me if you are interesed in hanging or showing me some spots if you are a veteran. By the way do chicas prefer pesos or dollars?

OldQDogHey Oldqdog,

Just my way of thinking, but once I clear immigration in Columbia (or any other country for that matter), dollars cease to exist. I won't say that I have never used them, but only as a last resort. If the lady REALLY wanted dollars, I have obliged her on occasion, but at a huge discount in her pricing in my favor. (maybe 25% at least) over what was previously agreed upon. I never start the conversation discussing pricing in dollars. I usually say I don't have any, only have pesos. This is just my technique, I am sure others have theirs.

... Colombian women are the best ... Heya Chipper,

You're definitely fortunate to be living in a place where people are generally very nice and the chicas are so warm and friendly and enjoy being feminine and sexy.

I rate the Colombian people as some of the friendliest I've met in my extensive travels and yes, the Colombian women are pretty special.

I'll tell ya though, I've found the people of Brasil to rival Colombia for the top spot. Trust me, I love the Colombiana too. I've been with plenty of 'them.

I think though, I'll reserve my 'best' rating for the Brasiliera.

Just as sexy as the Colombiana, but I find them generally much less drama-filled and more easy-going.

Just my humblest of opinions amigos.

You are referring to Malodr which is what I believe he goes by on this site Greg. We have not heard from him in awhile. I get a kick out of him always posting how many times he has been to Medellin, such as "This is Trip 8", "This is Trip 9", and "This is Trip 10", like anyone gives a rats ass how many times he has been to Medellin. Guess it is a ego thing, but it is pretty silly. On the other hand he has provided some informative reports.

I'm in Sao Paulo quite frequently and find so much chica fun it's crazy, and I pay no more than in Colombia, if I'm paying at all.

4 times more dangerous than Medellin? Now that's funny.

You can hang out in the el Centro part of the city at night, in the more travelled areas and see nowhere close to the zombies you'll see and run from in Medellin.

Hey I love Medellin too, but Brasil is pretty darmn good too. Trust me!

As a side note, I do have to say that I've never seen the beauty like you see in the faces of the Paisa in Medellin. That's for sure.

The Brasilieras can be pretty sexy too, just not to the beauty degree of the Paisa in general, but they sure make up for in the attitude and the cama.

Have fun guys!

hi!

this happened this wednesday after a visit on fase2.

we were 3 guys that had had a good night, and decided to call it a night. outside there was the normal taxi-que as usual.

i recognised a taxidriver that did drive me home the night before, and i wanted to go with him. but he said that i had to take another taxi that was before him in their quesystem, and this happened to be a white, unmarked taxi.(no identification numbers on the car)

the driver was a female, and i thought that because of that, it couldn't be that bad, even that the taxi wasn´t a regular "yellow one". once inside the car, i explained that she should drive me to el centro, where i am staying. there was nothing that could be missunderstood by that, and she started driving.

the first problem came shortly into the journey where she was suposed to make a right turn, but instead did a left turn. i told her that this was the wrong way, and she excused herself with that "she was not allowed to drive right, but had to make a left-left turn". i dont know the local traffic rules in that area, but no other taxidriver has ever driven me that way. so she did a left-left-turn and came out on the right way.

we where smalltalking during the ride and once we came somewhere closeby the colon area (alpujarra metrostation) at the carerra 46 she stopped at a redlight. i sat in the frontseat and was facing her as we had our conversation.

- suddenly in the corner of my eye, i see a motorcycle with two riders stopping maybe 5-8 meters behind us.

nothing strange by that, but when the passanger on the motobike was jumping of the motobike and pulled out a gun i got the icechills and shouted at her "sicario, sicario! - vamos, vamos, vamos!!" (hitmen/robbers!!, drive, drive, drive!!)

first she froze up, for what feelt like a looong second, but finally her mind made the right connections to her feets, and she started to take of from the redlight.

the motoguy with the gun in his hand was now running just behind the car, trying to catch us before the car got into to much speed. thankfully, the car won the race, and he started to fall behind the car.

- that did not stop these guys, as the driver quickly picked up the gunman, and they started chasing us on their motorcyckle.

i shouted at her "mas rapido, mas rapido!!" (go faster, go faster!!) and at that point i was out of ideas other that trying to outrun the motorbike in speed. the girl was smarter than me, as she started to repeatedly honk the carhorn to draw attention to the motochase.

when she started doing this, the gun/motoguys hit the brakes, and speeded up along a road to the right.

we speeded for another 500 meters before she hit the brakes at a crossing where there was some yellow taxis parked. once the car stopped she littely throw herself out of the car screaming "ajuda me, ajuda me!! (help me, help me!!)

on shaking legs i got out of the car too, and she was now hiding behind a phonebooth. i shouted at the taxiguys "marca a policia!" (call the police!) but no one of the drivers seemed to care, like it was not their business.

-i had no idea if the motoguys was about to come back, and the support from these guys seemed close to zero. i finally managed to get another driver to help me by driving me to my hotel.

back at the hotel all kind of conspiracy theories went thru my head. - who was in on it? - was it someone at the club, or the taxi driver from yesterday, or the girl, or was it all just bad luck?? - i had no answears but alot of questions.

at this point i didn't trust no-one, (not even ruling out the last driver beeing linked in someway) and was thinking that the motoguys might be comming looking for me, so i changed from my hotel and went to sleep in the house of a good friend instead.

today i am feeling better, but i can see at least one major wrong that i did:
getting into a white taxi is not a good idea, because if it is a setup, you are easy to track and follow along the nighttraffic of all the yellow taxicabs.

also, if i had called for a taxi, that trip would have been recordend at the taxi central, and the driver would not be able to be apart of some kind of robberyplot. (if that was the case)

looking back, if the female taxidriver would have hesitated just 1.5-2 seconds more, the guy would have gotten us, and in the best case we would "thankfully just have got robbed". and for the worst case, it could have gone much, much worse.

so be carefull out there, and avoid the white taxis if possible.

take care,

ken apples.

Dw, thank you for your questions.

Medellin Mansion is not a ***** house, its simple, we are just a large house converted into many rooms as a bed and breakfast small hotel.

Things have changed since you were here last, you will not find large numbers of girls sitting around the pool anymore, in fact from Monday to Thursday, unless a guests calls them (with our help if required to translate), or a party is organised by a guest, empoyee's/managment having a party, things are very quiet.

On Friday to Sunday, there is always people in the pool area.

Sundays, no more barbecues, but now "Hot Dogs" and "NFL" and of course invited female friends.

Medellin Mansion and El Castillo have never taken one peso from prostitution in the 5 and a half years of operation and never will, some people have a problem with that.

Only people with foriegn passports and Colombias Cedula I. D's/Colombia passports are allowed into the hotels, no exception uless Medellin Bob, Big Bad Boyd and I say so and then it is usually no.

I hate with a passion, any tick infested street girl or low end ***** house-drug infused ally cat/female.

No cover charge to enter, its quiet simple, don't won't any person in our premises if there not staying with us or an invited female friend from a guest, not interested in any more work and bullshit.

Very rarely do I go out anymore, I guess living here for 7 years I've seen it all, I enjoy now driving around Colombia and staying home, lieing in bed with my sweetheart and watching T. V. When I'm not looking after guests and touring the world.

Sorry if I'm to the point but that's the way it is with me, regards.

Aussie Greg

So be carefull out there, and avoid the white taxis if possible.
I wouldn't rule out anything in Medellin but I would hope that any taxi sitting outside Fase II would be "OK". I noticed more white taxis in Parque Lleras recently but they were from Rio Negro and Envigado.

There is a law in Medellin that says no 2 males may ride on the same motorcycle (police excluded). If you see 2 guys on a moto get away from them ASAP!

very nice story. thanks for sharing.

as i wrote in that forum, they tried to rob me with a knife in bogota one year ago.

i was walking with a plastic bag with 2 packs of panela, which i bought one hour before. i was going out from santa fe on the 19. i was too relaxed and i underestimated the danger.

my conclusion was not "never again walk with panela".

i don't think your mistake was taking a white taxi. they clearly spotted you taking the taxi and followed you. the driver was obviously not involved. if so, she would have stopped in a side road. also, even changing hotel is frankly paranoid. if they like to rob foreigners, they may enter any hotel. i don't think you looked particularly interesting for them.

ok, s. t happens, so now you have one more adventure to remember. good it did not turn bad.

you can take white taxies again, however.

we were 3 guys that had had a good night, and decided to call it a night. outside there was the normal taxi-que as usual.

i recognised a taxidriver that did drive me home the night before, and i wanted to go with him. but he said that i had to take another taxi that was before him in their quesystem, and this happened to be a white, unmarked taxi.(no identification numbers on the car)

the driver was a female, and i thought that because of that, it couldn't be that bad, even that the taxi wasn´t a regular "yellow one". once inside the car, i explained that she should drive me to el centro, where i am staying. there was nothing that could be missunderstood by that, and she started driving.

the first problem came shortly into the journey where she was suposed to make a right turn, but instead did a left turn. i told her that this was the wrong way, and she excused herself with that "she was not allowed to drive right, but had to make a left-left turn". i dont know the local traffic rules in that area, but no other taxidriver has ever driven me that way. so she did a left-left-turn and came out on the right way.

we where smalltalking during the ride and once we came somewhere closeby the colon area (alpujarra metrostation) at the carerra 46 she stopped at a redlight. i sat in the frontseat and was facing her as we had our conversation.

(if that was the case)

looking back, if the female taxidriver would have hesitated just 1.5-2 seconds more, the guy would have gotten us, and in the best case we would "thankfully just have got robbed". and for the worst case, it could have gone much, much worse.

so be carefull out there, and avoid the white taxis if possible.

take care,

ken apples.

Brazil is great, but what you'll spend in Brazil in one week you'll spend in Medellin over 4 weeks.Sure but not for sex. Two years ago I went to Barranquilla. I have noticed the price of the sex was the same than in Goiania (Brazil). In Colombia if you get sex from a wonderful girl you have to pay enough. Do you know Pereira? Have you been there? The price of ST and LT is even higher than in Medellin.

In Barranquilla I went to 2-3 casas to find a girl making anal sex. I have asked to 20 girls for this but I didn't have fortune. I think brazilian girls have more attitude para sexar. ;)

I'd like to tell you.

This happened this wednesday after a visit on fase2.Scary story. Sorry to hear about it. Goes to show the bad guys are looking for easy marks, like solo mongers in cabs leaving the higher end venues as I'm sure the bad guys know Fase II is not exactly a place your average poor colombiano can afford to go. And don't assume it was "just a coincidence." I think they cased you right from when you stepped out of the place; who knows, they might even know someone inside or were in there that night checking out who else was there.

Reminds me of my first trip to Medellin, my buddy had won over a million COP playing Texas hold-em at the Oviedo mall casino. We left as the casino was closing, and I was really worried leaving the place in a cab with all that cash. I kept looking back in the taxi, wondering if any of the local guys he was playing against would be pissed off and tip off someone.

Turns out I was just being paranoid but this was over two years ago and the situation in MDE is a bit hotter now; my fears were your reality!

I don't think your driver was in on it but even if the taxista is legit and not setting you up for a robbery or a paseo millonario, there is still danger as your story indicates. Better to share a cab with other mongers and give the taxista a little propina at the last stop.

I don't understand why you didn't just wait for the taxista you already knew and trusted, I certainly would have tried to do that. A known trusted taxista is an important asset, now more than ever, I give these guys modest tips to keep them happy, but not too big so they don't think I'm rich and start getting funny ideas. When I travel, my joke with the locals nowadays is that I'm in a "crisis financiero global" just like everyone else! :) You should never talk or act like you have money to burn.

There is a law in Medellin that says no 2 males may ride on the same motorcycle (police excluded). Ha, ha, ha! At the same occasion they have also implanted the law that bar's can only open till 01.00 am in some parts of Medellin. I happen to live in one of those parts. Like this latest measure, the first doesn't seem to be enforced any more. That's Medellin my friend! Empty barrels!

I agree. It's not the white taxi. It might have been something else you did that attracted their attention. Jewelry. Flashy clothes? Inside the club did you pull out a wad of cash?

NEVER, NEVER get into an unmarked taxi!

Relapse1) It was not me, BLACK PAGE, who wrote what you quoted, but the author of the original story.

2) These guys took a "white taxi" waiting in line with yellow ones in front of PhaseII. They did not stop a car on the street. Do you think that any ghost car involved in illegal activities may queue with others, even welcome by regular drivers with license? It looks obvious to me that they were spotted when they exited the club, or even inside. The 2 robbers then followed the car by moto.

It is frankly disturbing to imagine this unfortunate lady, driving the taxi (or probably an executive car, not a plain taxi) and risking as much as the passengers (read the story), to be even suspected to be involved.

Again, should have she been involved, she would have stopped in a suitable place for the rob (plenty of lonely streets in Medellin) and the job would have been completed in few minutes and no hassle for them.

3) When I go out in Medellin, planning to explore ditchy areas, I dress worse than casual, I take plenty of taxies from the street, I don't show money, I do my best to attract little attention (and I try many girls.) All taxi drivers were very helpful and honest to me (in MDE, they all use the meter! ). It's a category to keep in good consideration, I think.

Well that's a bunch of BS. Let me guess, all you boys were in short pants and Hawaina camisetas, and you don't speak anything resembling the Spanish idioma, and you were drunk. Sheesh. "Step on it, estas sicarlos" What is that some movie you saw once.

You have a cell phone, call your favorite taxi, garnered form informaton on this board and he will pick you up when you call. He is your route to success, instead you take the risky route and suffer, what are you from France or something? Please, this is shit scare-mongering, avisa avisa, sicarlos. I am still laughing over the position you _PUT YOURSELVES_ INTO. THis is not a function of Colombia, nor Medellin, but your careless actions.

As always, YMMV, but you were the foolish ones.

Chau,

JazzI dont think the guy did one wrong thing and in a matter of fact did everything right, didnt act like he was drunk or giving papaya as far as I can tell. I would have done everything this poster has done play by play. I dont call taxis in front of Fase2. I get the next one in line. I would quit making Medellin out as being some kind of gringo friendly resort town. Things are definitely getting worse in Medellin and Colombia as a whole and If you dont watch your back you will get jacked sooner than later.

I don't think the guy did one wrong thing Actually, I think just going to Fase2 is the risky part in itself. Don't get me wrong, I was there last night. I actually feel safer at the Cll53 clubs in centro. Just looking around the room at F2, I immediately thought, if I was fishing for Americans, that would hands down be the best place to catch them. The maseros are shady too. I clearly asked for media botella, dude comes over with a full one, at the price of 165k. Do the math. Add up the drinks in the hands of EVERY patron in say, Conejitas. Would it even equal one bottle at F2?

Cabbies have been good this trip, despite most not knowing where the clubs are. Two guys on a moto, I've seen it about twice in the last 4 days, not super frequent but enough to let you know SOME people are skirting the law.

If going to a shady area for the first time, hire a private car. Alejandro who works with theapartmentmedellin is EXCELLENT. No contact info, I'm not here to shill for anyone, but I recommend you seek him out if needed. 25k an hour.

I did see a few of you guys in the shorts and hawaii shirts. Yall are your own worst enemies. Its not rocket science, just dress like the guys around you. Slacks, short sleeve collar shirt, $25 casual shoes from Payless.

Hi guys!

It's been a lot of posts around the moto-robbery assult.

Thru both negative and positive posts I hope it have been valuble for everyone, as the purpose of this very forum, is to benefit both for sex and safety for us all. We, the members of the forum.

Regarding clothing it was no shorts and hawaii shirts that is the cliché spinal reaction guess from some people when something happens. (if you walk the shady areas behind san diego grill late at night-times, you better not be dressed in shorts and hawaii shirt; o)

Also, spanish level is good enough that almost every taxidriver think I'm a resident. (nough said about that)

Finally, dos tragos de ron in 4 hours will not even get you remotely drunk.

The biggest selfcritic I have is that when you have been around for a while and think that you know enough, and are on top of the game. You lower your guard. (as I did) It was a big misstake, and I hope others can benefit from the story and that way avoid these kinds of situation.

The world is full of ex-boxing champs, that thought they were on top of their game, and then some fresh young guy comes from nowhere and K. O them. (if you understand the paralell)

- I learned my lesson the hard way, but it was a wake up call indeed.

Now lets go back to sex and women. To much talking about guys in leather lately.

Best regards,

Ken Apples

Sometimes wandering around with monger buddies is alot riskier than going about it solo. Two gringos are more appealing to rob than just one. Add one more to the mix and you are looking at a monumental heist.

In reality you just need someone to pal around with and exchange info on the downtime. What else can your buddy do for you that a chica can't ?

IMHO the worst thing you can do in NOT monger solo in sketchy places. Locals give you more credit by going it alone and you aren't responsible for anybody's actions. Just your own.

The only exceptions might be a gringo infested monger location like Sosua DR which is more of a frat party than anything else. When you go into the bowels of grit and grime ditch the amigo and go incognito or don't go. A friend will do you no good.

There has been one or two mongers I've gone around with but those were ISG members that I had alot of trust in.

Might I also mention that 2/3 gringos "Looks" confrontational. You may not want it to look that way but "locals" may percieve it as such. Add latino machismo and a few drinks and you get a bad mix.

Well that's a bunch of BS. Let me guess, all you boys were in short pants and Hawaina camisetas, and you don't speak anything resembling the Spanish idioma, and you were drunk.I was there with "Ken Apples" that night, Jazz. Short pants? No. Hawaiian shirts? No. Drunk? Absolutely not. No Spanish? One of the three of us was a native Spanish speaker who lives in Medellin, and "Ken Apples" speaks better Spanish than I, and my Spanish is better than most of the guys on this board, I bet.

MiamiHeatLover is right; this monger did nothing wrong. When I first heard what happened (about an hour after it happened) I did not really believe that "Ken Apples" had been set up (why such an elaborate theory? ); I thought it was just a crime of opportunity, like most crimes.

I now have changed my mind based primarily on two observations.

1.) Cab drivers don't really stop at red lights at night in Medellin. This one did, and the only reason why she finally had to "step on it" was that the robber was taking too long to get to the window. So it was becoming painfully obvious that the cab driver was in on it. That was not her deal, and she needed to keep her reputation clean and keep things looking like a regular robbery. Her honking the horn during the ensuing chase may have been her pre-arranged signal to the robbers that the jig was up.

2.) Outside of Fase II, I casually stood there (but with my "game face" on) and watched the whole taxi arrangement take place. I deferred to my friend the Medellin resident and native Spanish speaker to make the arrangements, but I was observing closely. I was looking at the female driver, and she was smiling at me through the windshield. The guy who was setting up the taxi ride (the "trusted" driver from two previous nights), noticed me watching her, and without me saying anything to him, he got into the business of assuring me that everything was OK with the female driver. At the time, I just assumed that he thought that I did not trust "women drivers" so I told him that she was fine and that it didn't matter. In retrospect, he seemed overly eager to assure me that everything was OK.

"Ken Apples" had been there three nights in a row, and they had seen him all three nights. I now believe they targeted him.

"Ken Apples" is right. The lesson here is that no matter how much experience you have, you can never assume that you've "got it down." I have mongered in Seoul, Taipei, Nuevo Laredo, Manila, Managua, Lima, Cali, Medellin, and San Jose. And in my United States profession I have to assess people's credibility constantly. So I like to think I'm good at it. But I did NOT notice that things were starting to go wrong right in front of me.

For all of you Medellin defenders. Please don't reply. I'm not bashing Medellin (the SAME thing could have happened in Miami or Atlanta or New York or Amsterdam).

So, mongers. Just stay on your toes. No matter how good you may think you are.

Add latino machismo and a few drinks and you get a bad mix.I think the optimal situation is 2 guys everywhere you go. Reason being it's not too large a group. Yet you have someone watching your back. You can't have your eyes everywhere. When one is in the bathroom, the other can watch the drinks. When you're out in a sketchy area, one can look left and the other can look right.

Two gringos are more appealing, but it also requires 2-3 guys to rob you. When you are solo, that opportunistic robbery is more possible with one guy. Locals won't give you more credit for being brave. They think your'e just a stupid gringo.

I actually haven't seen the latin machismo in all the places I went where they drink. They all seem really nice and low key. However, I have seen the gringo machismo. Especially the gringos that get rowdy in Fase II. Cheering and yelling. Most won't look twice at a group of gringos unless they get rowdy!

That is exactly what I meant.I wouldn't say going solo is 'the way to go'. Period. It just depends man.

Yes, IMO going solo is better than hanging with a bunch of loud, dumb-asses or even one dumb-ass for that matter.

If you have a trusted companero, however, going out as a team works pretty well. And that extra guy with ya, I believe will put the bad guys at bay a bit.

To say that the locals respect you because you go out solo is silly really IMO. I don't think they could care less. The banditos, however, know that it's much easier to sneak up on and overcome just one guy solo.common sense.

Bueno, everybody has their game-plan that works best for them, and going solo isn't always the best for all.

I have reported problems in Medellin in the past and no one from what I can see is listening to me. I still see gringos in shorts and sandalls talking loud and high fives everywhere. Hoolering in the Casinos. Keep it up and the Ken Apples story will continue to replay itself. I have taken the cab from Fase Dose with the same woman, attractive and sweet and doubtful she was part of the plot. As far as the Taxi drivers not helping, well they most likely had no idea of what was happpening as they would have sought cover or helped out in calling for aid. I have seen taxi drivers come to the aid of victims of crime three times in my life here to the point of getting in the fight. There will always be crime, there will always be vicitms, but Fase Dose is a gringo and mafiaso hang out, my suggestion is to avoid the place. You can see strip clubs at home, just do the daily Casa tour and leave the strip clubs off the tour. I have done all the strip clubs in Centro to San Diego, there just full of incidents waiting to happen. But you guys won't listen to me, so go. And maybe you will overspend, get drugged or robbed, get half ass sex and have a story to tell others of how you survived the whole thing, or maybe you won't.

Ok. There have been so much talking about gringos that and gringos this.

How about Asian mongers? Is there fair amount of Asian guys mongering in Columbia? I'm Asian and never been to Columbia. Any tips? Is there any different in term of treatment from local between Asian and white?I'm asian. The non-indian kind.

I saw an asian mongering on my last trip at Mansion. I heard Frank was taking a bunch of asians around.

I think they treat everyone the same. I don't really get any extra looks.

BTW, I think when people talk about gringos.. they refer to all extrajeras in general. At least I do.

but Fase Dose is a gringo and mafiaso hang out, my suggestion is to avoid the place. You can see strip clubs at home. This is my opinion too. Honestly, I've been to Fase Dos, once, I've been in the Maricaibo, El Executivo, many more times, it is not a favorite activity, but it's sometimes fun to be nasty. Also, after two years I have still never been inside a MDE casino. I don't like to gamble, lucky for me.

I would much rather go to the massajes during the day, find favoritas in them, and then have them over to the apartment when they can. I've hooked up with many sweeties from Loutron and Abydos (my two favorite massejes) I also take them to dinner and dancing, on occasion. I also the bars of Le Obolisk when futbol is on, all of the dance clubs on La Sententa to find beauties, and the clubs in Sabaneta like, Jesus, Dulce, Mio and the like are loaded with beautiful women ready to dance and flirt.

I never go to Parque Lleras, or any other Poblado clubs. The poster that got into trouble was in Fase three nights in a row, while he did everything right except take the taxi outside, his main error was creating a pattern.

I've read here time after time, always vary your routine. I always do that, always. Three nights in a row in a high profile spot is what got him.

As for becoming complacent, or too sure that it can never happen to "ME", that's ridiculous. If you are in the wrong place at the right time, your number is up, and in Colombia, that can be a problem.

Guy's,

Even if you hate my guts, thats ok but we got to help fathers/mothers and there children, the family unit.

Aussie Greg.I would not agree more. I think every monger should be encouraged to find a good, reputable non profit in the country of their choice, and give a bit. Of course, picking one that lead to actual change would be nice (in the issue of our choosing), but that is your choice. So many great non-profits in Medellin and other cities that need our support.

If anybody would like to donate a bag of food from Exito (20,000 pesos) to poor families here in Medellin, I'm the man to see, go buy it and drop it of at the Mansion, you can even come up with me and the Police to drop it off if you like.

I told the Police that I'll go up with them but only in a tank !!!!

Even if you hate my guts, thats ok but we got to help fathers/mothers and there children, the family unit.

With this situation I would also think about inspecting my luggage. Afterall there's nothing like being volunteered to be a mule while you were past out. Granted this sort of smuggling is rare these days, but still being stopped at TSA or customs would be one bad situation with an uncorroborated story. Unless you happen to file a police report.

If someone likes to hang in strip clubs they should know the risk (guy not playing in NFL anymore) As far as ranting and raving about men wearing shorts bull****, . Last several times in Medellin (June & Aug) it was to hot to always wear long pants. I have no had any problems. Seen many men at soccer games, malls, ect in shorts. Yes they were Colombian. Most nights I dress nicer. Called evening attire.

Agreed no one likes obnoxious, high fiving idiots anywhere, but rant about never wearing shorts in my openion is Bunk.

Slamcity 7777 and Larenzo,

Thanks very much for your responce guy's, yes there is another side of Medellin, "the real one"

We at the Mansion have what we call the Tourist Police, they look after all issues with the hotels here in Poblado and call in a few times each week to have a sandwich, coke and a chit-chat, we find out whats going on in Medellin ect.

They asked us one year to donate to the Cancer Hospital in San Vincente at christmas time which we and many of our guests also donated, plus guy's on this board to, many of our guests went with us to the party that they held at the hospital.
Seeing children dieing of cancer was a big shock but we all had a great time for a few hours and gave out many presents, many other hotels, Macdonalds ect gave big time to.

What we have now in Medellin is that many families are without food so the Police asked us to donate again or to see what we could do.

Exito make up food parcels which cost about 20,000 pesos, you can buy them, drop them of at the Mansion and when we have enough, we call the police, they give us a couple of days notice and then we go up and donate, they have people on the groud up there and it gets to the real people in need, we go along for the ride.

Its best if you go to Exito your self and purchase what you think you can afford, we dont want to deal in money, but we do if somebody sends it by Money Gram ect.

Thats about it mate's, you can call Marcy here in the Mansion office, she'll be very happy to help out with the drop off's and what time we go up the mountain.

Hello Greg,

I'll be in Mede in mid Nov. and would very much like to help some poor families....see the "other side" of mede...

I'm not a scared of going to the hood, I'm Asian, sort of brown, dark haired, and in the 5foot-5-8 height range that common in South America...long story short I don't stick out like a 6 foot gringo... and but if the cops do come...what ever...

I'd like more info about this thing your doing, is this your private charity? just a good deed you're doing? just something you do?

Either way it's great IMO

oh and I was gonna ask if you had any frineds/connects/know of agencies for Apartments in Bogota for a weekend? Nov 13(fridday)-Nov 16th(mon), I'd like to spend about $150ish for the weekend.

Thanks and please get back to me when you have a chance

Ilikepussy,

I'm Asian, to be more specific, I'm from Indonesia. I think, being an Asian has it's benefits when mongering in Medellin. Unlike the gringo's, there are not too many of us there (I might be the only Indonesian). The girls treat me as a curiosity and that defines their attitude: more friendly.

There will always be crime, there will always be vicitms, but Fase Dose is a gringo and mafiaso hang out, my suggestion is to avoid the place.I can't disagree. There are safer venues available.

For different reasons, I feel similarly about the girls on Calle 85 (Mayorista); that's a local, working-class scene. It's located there because of the truck market (farmer's market) right next door. Of course, it's generally not a problem to be there (I've stayed there), and the people are friendly, but they don't want their local scene over run by gringos looking for the cheap trick. It's also quite public, so there can be pride issues at stake. So it just doesn't feel right to me, and I bet the local boys would rather keep that to themselves.

Many times I have sent things (TV, Toys, food, clothing) for my children from Exito via the internet Virtualexito.com; if I do the same would be able to send the packages? Please ask in El Exito if they will arrange to purchase from their website.

Also, I have know several poor families in my visits that have been too proud to take my cash (or sell their souls), how can they benefit from this kindness.

Thanks for allowing all who partake, give back.

Hi guys,

Enlighten me please. I keep hearing on the news about how dangerous Brazil and Rio de Janeiro are with 38 murders a day in Brazil, third in the World. How they would have to built up walls around poor neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro because of crimes and danger to tourists if the Olimpics were held there. What's up with that? Never heard any of these comments by fellow mongers who travel to Brazil. Only hear good things all the time about Rio. And what finally happened with The Help Discoteque? Any info. Will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

i like pussy,

i am asian/white. but i look more asian. i have been to colombia 3 times. bogota, medellin x 2 and my more recent trip to cali, you can read my detail report in the cali section.

since colombia is a not a popular tourist country compare to countries like brazil, france, spain etc. it is common for colombians to see white gringos walking around on the streets but they rarely see asians around. when they see one, they are very curious they look at you longer and are willing to open up and have a conversation with you.

my first trip to medellin was in 2007. me and my friends stood out. i went with a 6'1 blonde pale white guy looks like a harmess nerd and a korean guy who was 6'4 with tattoo sleeves kinda skinny, has the rock star emo look. me. i'm 6'0 athletic built and trendy. anyway. as a group we stood out.

my korean buddy can speak decent spanish, and when he did, people jaws dropped. there were speechless. everywhere we went, we were called " chinos" so expect to get called that when you go to colombia. everywhere we were we get stares. when we talk to people, they ask where we are from, are we exchange students? etc,

at the regular clubs, i do get alot of stares from everyone. colombian dudes know how to speak english would come up to ask if we want x, weed, or coke. if you know how to speak spanish, have decent fashion style, know some salsa dancing. you wouldn't have too much of a problem scoring with a non pro.

when i visited other countries like brazil, france. i did not get any stares.

this is how i felt. just imagine. that you are a hot ass girl with big ass tits walking in the mall by yourself. and every dude is staring at you.

or your a celebrity walking into a restaurant, people stare at you.

yes i felt like a celebrity when i was in colombia!

if you don't want to draw to much attention because of your ethicity, wear a baseball hat and sunglasses.

and please don't wear shorts! lol

if you're not super tall you'll be surprised how much easier it is to fit in. me i'm 5-5, dark hair, dark eyes, brownish skin. that is a pretty wide demographic in south america that most guys would fit.

i'm goning back in nov and i can't wait!

At one time, I told someone that if he wore shorts that I wouldn´t leave the house with him.

Shortly thereafter, I changed and now I often wear shorts even in El Centro.

At the time I had read a post about ¨Walmart Gringos¨etc
.
I started to go out and take pics of people wearing shorts.

In one day, I realized exactly how many DO wear shorts.

Even the recyclers wear shorts, people riding motorcysles wearing shorts.

People walking around Laureles often wearing shorts and sandals.

For months now, it has been hot in Medellin, making wearing shorts more common and more necessary.

That being said, overall-YES! try to atract as little attention as you can while in Colombia.

Not just because you are wearing shorts will you be targeted by thieves, kidnappers etc. it is just that the more you blend in, the better of you are.

Also, on the weekend, you will find everyone wearing shorts on their days off.

The city of Medellin closes off lanes of all major roads so that people can walk, ride their bicycles, walk their dogs etc.

These closures even include avenida Poblado, Oriental, a lane of the autopista, all the way around El Estadio.

If you want to wear shorts, come to Laureles, you will fit right in!

This forum has been put under moderation by Jackson because of the high rate of serial antagonists, which in the past affected negatively the normal exchange of information among serious members, interested mainly to one thing (dont ask me to mention it). Today I see why.

I guess that yesterday Jackson was a bit abstracted (quandoque bonus dormitat Homerus), authorizing posts including insults or even plain advertisements (Full Service Med??). This has started a flame that I am afraid is going to last. Jackson, I would suggest you clean up the forum, deleting all unnecessary posts, to restore normal communication between members.

Okay, so I'll be down there around Halloween and I hear Mangoes is the place to be for the costume party. Does everyone dress for this or do only Gringos participate and local guys look on? Any ex-pats in need of someone to shop up some costumes for them on our way down? By the way if you guys haven't seen the hotties at the nightclub scene check out the Colombian version of Napkin Nights called Pegateya.com. I'd say Carnival at Mangoes is probably the wildest! There are some outrageously gorgeous women on the site and it sealed the deal for my upcoming visit to Colombia!

Also wondering about what camera to bring. I prefer my SLR because of how sharp the images are but with the recent crime described here I'm wondering if I should bring a smaller camera. I've got a Canon Elf but is so soft on the image focus. Am considering picking up a G11 (about the size of a handycam) as my G3 used to take great shots. Thoughts anyone? Does Mangos allow cameras/camcorders inside? Most of the stuff I see on YouTube looks like it's from a cell phone.

I'm also thinking of trying to improve my Spanish and have been looking at language schools. Can anyone recommend a school offering short term instruction? I would be great if they also taught English to cute Paisas that I might be able to meet for. ONS, SLR, LTR, friendship etc. Yeah, sorry I'm more of a part time monger. Getting too old and tend to agree with Gregg that there comes a time in life where you slow down and just want to have something real. Something stable. Someone to talk to, to share thoughts with. Okay I'll stop because I'm making the hard core mongers I'll. Sorry.

So I've read the forum on where to go to find my fun with prepagos. But may I ask where would one go to meet regular ladies (non prepagos) that might be interested in an LTR with an asian gringo if I were the right man. Meaning no insult to these places but do places like MM, Executive Hotel, VIP ect have a reputation in Medellin? That is if I were staying at one of these mongering hot spots, would I lose credibility with regular ladies?

Also wondering about what camera to bring. I prefer my SLR because of how sharp the images are but with the recent crime described here I'm wondering if I should bring a smaller camera. I've got a Canon Elf but is so soft on the image focus. Am considering picking up a G11 (about the size of a handycam) as my G3 used to take great shots. Thoughts anyone? Does Mangos allow cameras/camcorders inside? Most of the stuff I see on YouTube looks like it's from a cell phone.I have taken my SLR to Mangoes without any problem. Point-and-shoot cameras will be prone to ghost images because of poor lighting and fast movement of dancers.

Here are a sample of pictures for you.

Post yours when you return.

Bring both an SLR & a Point & Shoot. You will have opportunity to use both.

Mango's allows cameras inside. Not sure though if you want to lug around an SLR all the time. This is where a good point and shoot comes in handy.

SLR shots are the way to go at the homestead, especially with a nice Paisa in front of the camera. However, no need to get ridiculous and bring a SLR that's in the thousands of dollars range. I have seen gents do just that although I could see from their use of the camera and photo results that they don't really spend time learning how to effectively use the camera's multi functions to the point of which they just turn it on auto and end up with a point and shoot SLR!

Cheers,

Frank C,

Yes, Brazil requires a visa. And they have a number of requirements that go along with it. Need tickets in hand to apply so that tends to prohibit last minute first time travel to Brazil. Your passport has to be valid for 6 months after your scheduled arrival. Costs $150 (130 + 20), submit with photo, you must use the visa within 90 days of issuance, but it is good for multiple entries for something like 2 or 5 years.

And I would tend to agree with MiamiHeatluver I don't think Asians get any special looks in SA with one exception: Brazil. When there I learned that Brazil has the largest number of ex-pat Japanese there and have a reputation for being educated and wealthy (in contrast to the working girls' lives). So a lot of people tend to look up to them in Brazil. Also China had been making a lot of investments in SA and when I was there they were looked up to more so than the US of A. I kept a very low profile when I realized that. Oh, and Peru could be another exception. Didn't they have a Japanese President? Fujimora?

That is if I were staying at one of these mongering hot spots, would I lose credibility with regular ladies?First thing, bring a camera that you can make disappear into your pocket or you may find it disappear from you. Plus dude don't be an Asian guy dragging around some huge SLR around your neck!!! I've worked very hard in my life to stomp out the "Classic Asian Stereotype".

You gotta step you Hablando Espanol game up bro....if you want to meet a normal girls it's just like in America

1. Be handsome or Rich
2. Funny and Charming does not hurt either.
3. Cool and Fun
4. Speak Spanish
5. Spend Money
6. Complements

Girls are all the same and want the same thing. Make the smart ones feel pretty and the pretty ones feel smart.

Bro. The mall is a great place to pick up girls. Well for me it is, I'm young by mongering standards (30) but with my superior Asian genetics I look early 20's I've been told. So I don't look like some old pervert leering at 18-19 year old girls. Find a bar and get known, go enough times where the staff gets to know what you drink, what you eat, chat them up, ask them about their lives. Make friends!

This is what I've done before here is the US and in Peru and Argentina and it worked for me. My SA no pro-count is like 15 in 4.5 months

Oh, and buy a cell phone. This is very important when trying to have friends and any sort of interaction with a non-pro.

Hope this helped

Do need a visa to go to Brazil. The visa is good for 90 days and expires if unused (so don't go shopping for a visa too far in advance). If you use the visa within the 90 days it is good for 5 years.

This info was as of 2004, my last visit, they also fingerprinted US Citizens only because we did it to the world.

Hi Mackin,

But did they close the Help Discoteque with the two thousand girls ? If they closed it, I would have to re-think it. It´s going to be hell getting around there with all the re-building. And somebody told me you needed a visa to go to Brazil, is that true?

I've known them persosnally for the last 7 years and I have dated Diana for a few months about 5 years ago, been away with Alejandra's family to Armenia, had them perform at the Mansion about 5 times and never in my time have I seen or heard of any of them been prepago's, I think Medellin Bob even dated a couple of them to.
In fact they were training at El Castillo yesterday as we have a large room with mirrows.

Paola even clled me from her hospital bed a few times after her boyfriend aranged a hit on her in a publick bus, put 2 bullets holes in her knee capps, she ended up marrying him.

There was one dancer who wanted sex with me one night as I was really drunk, but he was male! Anyway, somebody saved me.

Asians, we have many guests here at the Mansion who are asian and my first wife was half Chineess and half Vietmanies.

Remines me of a family story.

My uncle was a prisnor of war under the japonnes for 4 and a half years, the family thought he was died after being taken prisoner with the fall of Sinapore.

Anyway, two days out of Perth on a hospital ship the family was told he was alive and would be traveling down to Pemberton in a week or so by train.

My father, other uncles and sisters (who were quiet small at the time) were told by my grandmother to look around the house and pick out every thing thats asian, put it in a plastic bag, take out the back and bury it in a hole.

Anyway uncle Jack arrives home, looks like a dingo who's had dierrea, worms etc, ect for the last 4 and a half years.

He's sitting at the dinner table and my gandmothers says to him, Jack what would you like to eat, pumkin soap and then roast beef Maum.

After that, my grandmother says, Jack what would you like to have for sweets! "desert" ooh mum, I'd love some of your "rice pudding".

If your americian, you probley won't get it.

From guys that's been there, I hear that it is true that you will need a visa for Brazil.I lived in Rio for 3 years and now live in Medellin. If you are a US Citizen and have a US Passport you "definitely" need a Visa to enter Brazil. Lately they have been issuing them for 5 years but depends on the Brazilian Consulate and how they feel that day? Also if you are planning on entering Brazil and you have been in Colombia make sure you have a Yellow Fever Certificate.

Canadians absolutely need a visa to go to Brasil. Have one in my passport. Also for US citizens. The interesting part is that for Canadians the visa is exactly 1/2 the cost for Americans. Does that mean they think we are half as rich, or half as stupid? No se.

Costs $150 (130 + 20), submit with photo, you must use the visa within 90 days of issuance, but it is good for multiple entries for something like 2 or 5 years. My 2nd Brazilian visa ran out this year a month before I was to go to Rio to meet up with some friends. I procrastinated to the point of where I obtained the use of a rush service company. Funny thing is that the company is located in the same building as the Brazilian consulate office just a couple of floors below.

Anyway, the service filled out the forms for me and basically I just had to sign off, give them my passport and pay a fee (and the visa fee) and in a couple of days I had my passport and Visa. Never had to show proof of travel. They gave me a 5 year visa as well. It could not have been easier and a lot more pleasant than dealing with the bitches that work in the consulate (that's right, I called them bitches cause of their bad attitudes).

Just as a tidbit. About 4 years ago I met up with a fellow monger in Rio who had a visa problem. He's Canadian and had been to Rio the year before and upon his return visit, it wasn't until he was at Brazilian immigration that it was discovered the visa he had been given was only good for 90 days after 1st entry.

Long story short, he had to take buy a rt ticket and take a flight to Buenos Aires and spend two days there at the Brazilian embassy to get a visa stamp in his passport in order to return to Brazil for entry.

Cheers,

Cubanut

PS. I thought I'd include a photo of a girlfriend I had in Brazil. I had met her during Rio Carnival 2004. She is from Brasilia. She was the best part of that trip and was the life of the many parties we attended together. After Carnival she and I and a friend of mine went to Brasilia and shacked up with her and her girlfriend for 4 days. Again it was a treat because she worked as a stripper in a night club and every night we would take 2 different friends of our choosing for nightly orgy sessions. It's great to have a girlfriend with an "open mind".

From guys that's been there, I hear that it is true that you will need a visa for Brazil. You do need a visa to go to Brasil, but it's not a big deal at all. Just a formality, it processes very quickly too. As I understand it, it's a tit for tat against the US for putting such stringent entry and visa requirements for Brasileiros.

I was in brazil last year, when I was there I did get any special looks at all. Since brazil is a typical tourist country they get all kinds of people there, plus they have a huge japanese population in sao paulo.

When I was in Colombia, where there is less tourists and less Asians, I get alot of looks. I'm not saying we can special treatments because we are different. Of course, you need to speak some spanish, have a little charisma and style to get with a non pro.

Thats just my opinion.

Is it a strip club in Medellin?

Can you take girls out? Girls are way too hot!

I have taken my SLR to Mangoes without any problem. Point-and-shoot cameras will be prone to ghost images because of poor lighting and fast movement of dancers.

Here are a sample of pictures for you.

Post yours when you return.

Hi VP,

You havn´t seen anyrhing yet. Wait till you see the next set of pics. "Party at My Place" with Geraldine, Nataly and a few others. By the way, Dianna sends her love. You must have done something right, she´s a regular at My Place and picks of my Gringos like they were going out of style. I finally had to give her a go, a try out. She´s got good GFE and she looks best with her legs open and wrapped around you (me), pretty pussy also. I can see why she does so well with gringos.

Last time I had her up, I was barely done with her when one of my guests brought a guy to see My Place. She was being all flirtatious and I could tell the guy wanted her real bad. But he thought she was with me and wouldn´t say anything. The minute I said I was done with her he took her faster than I could say my goodbyes. She´s a little thinner than when you were with her. So she´ll be waiting for you with open arms.

Frank Casio !

Damm Frank, you held these two out on me.

I think I will see you in Jan. for a week or two, on my way to Lima.

Is it a strip club in Medellin?

Can you take girls out? Girls are way too hot!Mangos is NOT a strip club. It's a club. More of a themed club. Kind of like a circus inside. You'll see midgets, monsters, themed bathroom, etc. There's also hot go go girls and guys dancing on the table/stage (no stripping). It's a must see at least once. After that, I don't see the enjoyment of going back.

The dancers are not prepagados. If you want to pick one up, you'll need to bring your A game like with any non pro.

I knew someone would notice. She´s breast feeding. A couple weeks ago she bathed me with her milk while we made love. I had a little pond of milk on my neck. She let me drink all I wanted, it was sweet!

Hi Menteg,

You are real bad. It was difficult at first just going in the front door, I can't imagine the back door. She's real tight and sweet! She wants to stay at My Place permanently and take care of it, along with you guys. I've considered it, but I don't think I should for safety reasons.

Hi Justafool,

Nataly is the naked one. She loves taking pics. Karolina has a beautiful tight body, spends 3 hours in the gym almost every day, but is not that much into pics. But I'll keep insisting.

Which is Karolina and which is Nataly?

Why do you highlight only one of the two in the model shoot?

Mangoes is not a strip club! Regular club with tons of hot women! In my opinion, its not the best place to go to look for single women. Its more like a date club, or a place where you your group of friends can go and party together.

You all agree is more like date club?

Can you take girls out? Girls are way too hot!No it's not a stripclub. It's a nightclub. And like most nightclubs there are lots of hot women parading about. It's just that Paisas happen to be beautiful and enjoy plastic surgery to boot! The fotos on this forum are mostly of the Mangos dancers. If your speaking about the fotos on the site I had found, then those are of staff and customers (hot customers! ).

Regarding 'Can you take girls out? ' You haven't been reading the forum have you? Aussie Gregg has addressed the Mangos' dancers in a recent post.

Mangoes is a lot of fun in small doses. Definitely, IMHO, NOT the place to pick anybody up, if for no other reason then if the chica is there with the cover charge they have, she is either with someone, who can afford to go on her own, so, ipso facto, does not need any old gringo as she is plenty well off on her own. For anybody who is good at salsa, or with a chica that likes that, it is really a great place to go, and the stage dance shows are a lot of fun, and the dancers are gorgeous. They never have had a problem (with me anyway), having their pictures taken, but that's about all one could every expect.

I've only gone there in a group, but just a look around would indicate it would be very difficult. Also the music volume there makes it virtually impossible to have a normal conversation.

Well, you know where to come, you've been there. I'm sure she would love to be your personal trainer. Small, but tight boobs. She's the only girl in Medellin I know that is happy with herself and doesn't want silicone boobs. I've discussed with her about going to the airport with my drivers if it is requested!

If you think its to hard, go to the street action at Mayoista!

Hey guys,

Looking to get a sim card to have a local number. Who's card do I want? I think it's Comcel. Columbian sims seem to be getting hard to find online. I noticed that Telestial had some explanation that Comcel is requiring that the cards be registered. Also read on another forum that in Colombia one needs to show their credula or passport to sign up for service is this true? If so then I'm guessing this might be why Comcel sim cards are out of stock at my usual online vendors. If the cards are supposed to be registered what happens if I buy and it's not registered properly with Comcel? Should I just wait and pick one up in Medellin? Is their a Comcel vendor at the airport? Sorry too many question marks in this post.

The largest collection of vendors is in the Centro business district.

There are also unlock quad ban cell phones that you can buy in the states. You can also buy phones that can handle two sim cards.

They sell sim cards downtown on Carabobo everyday of the week, cheap.

The least expensive service is Tigo.

Most girls use TIGO, but lots of people use Comcel.

Popular now, are dual sim card phones, that way you can have both, because when you call accress carriers it gets expensive. ( burns up your minutes).

I've heard so much talk about don't go to Mangos or discotecas because it's where the mafioso hang out. I was initially afraid to go to the clubs because of that. I've seen more danger in Mayorista type places and yet people go there again and again.

I think if you don't create problems, you'll be fine. If you talk with a paisa and her novio comes up to you, walk away or better yet. Make friends with him. From what I've seen Colombians are really friendly.

If someone has some bad story about macking it to a paisa in Mangos or any club, please share and let's all benefit from the experience! Otherwise, people should stop spreading myths about dangers that might not exist!

I've seen more danger in Mayorista type places and yet people go there again and again. This thread of posts about Mango really astonishes me.

Once for all: Mango is a NORMAL discoteque, where upper-class NORMAL people (that is students, professionals, clerks, office-type folks, etc. etc.; for sure, cover and drinks are not affordable by workers with minimum salary) goes to relax and dance mostly on weekends, exactly as in any other country where we live. Since "mafioso" type guys, as you say, have more money than others, it is possible to meet them there, but as in any restaurant in Poblado.

When I've been at Mangos, I've seen better-looking and nicer people than in most discos of my town (a big town in Europe).

I dont know who started to write about Mangos as it were a strip-club or even worse a "chica bar". Forget it. It is just plain wrong and out of context.

As in any NORMAL discoteque, at Mangos you might meet a girl who might like you and then you might proceed from there. As in any NORMAL discoteque, if you approach a girl assuming she's willing to get money for sex, most likely you are going to be slapped on your face, by her or by a friend of her (or worse).

Finally, if anybody goes in ANY disco in Medellin dressed with Hawaiian shirt, shorts, shouting prank things and pretending to be able to buy all girls, then he will probably not receive much welcoming attention, but not because of the dangerous place.

Thanks for the responses gentlemen. I already have an unlocked quad band phone so that's no problem. FYI. If anyone's been with AT&T for a while you can call them and ask to have your phone unlocked. Be sure to let them know you're asking because you're traveling out of the country and want to have a local number while you're down there. They remotely unlocked my Blackberry Pearl two years ago. Which was promptly left in a cab upon my arrival (arrrgh! ). Of course I wouldn't count on getting an iPhone unlocked since AT&T is so protective of them.

But I'm still wondering about getting a SIM card from an authorized dealer vs the knockoffs from the street vendors. Another board says that authorized dealers require ID and street vendors don't. They also say that the unregistered cards can run into problems recharging when Comcel finds the rogue number. Has anyone with these cards had to buy a new card and thus have a new phone number?

the higher classes of people have other areas they go to.i've been there twice in the last few months. i am quite experienced to recognize them, but i did not see any "prepago" girl, neither "scarface-type" guys, neither anybody that might worry me. nada.

two times may be not enough, but my experience says something different from what you report.

also, i've been invited to go there by a group of some local friends of mine, local university students of good family, good people who even dont drink more than 1 or 2 cocktails, very happy of what uribe did to increase security in town. this further strengthen my belief that the general reputation of the place is not bad at all.
i see there is a lot of videos on this disco on youtub, if you want to peek. i dont know if posting urls is allowed, but i try (this is not an ad):
http://www.paisatours.com/video-mangos-medellin.htm

(i believe that talking about this disco in this forum is out of scope. therefore, this is my last post about it. it seems that not everyone agrees, but i wanted to add my opinion, for whatever it counts)
