Am I wrong in saying that there is no better place to monger in the world right now? I'd love an opinion saying there are better places with better GFE for the price. I have wanted to go to Thailand for a while, but the prices seem out of control for the girls (not including the flight). Medellin just keeps bringing me back.

I live in Jamaica & I have a Scotiabank bank (Canadian bank) a / see & visa debit card, my account is in Jamaican currency and not USA the. Would I have any issues withdrawing Colombian pesos from the ATM? I Plan on bringing a small amount of cash ($200 usd or so) to exchange at the airport and then withdraw the rest at ATM's, do you think I would have any issues?
Also, how's Colombia in October & November?
I know it's not the same for every girl but in general. I know 150 mil is average for a session. Does it include BBBJ, multiple pop, CIM, etc. I know it's best to talk with the girl about all the extra before the session but that make it too much of a business transaction. And I know it is a transaction but I don't want to make it so damn obvious. I prefer GFE or at least the illusion of it. If the girl ask for tip for extra, is 20-50 mil a reasonable tip.

If you're facing the entrance, you're standing in the park, Plaza Botero. It's impossible to miss, since it's full of Botero statues. Now turn left. Walk until you see a white church on your right. That's Iglesia Veracruz. On the south side of the church there's a pedestrian street. That's the walkway.
To get your bearings. Facing the Museo de Antioquia, you are facing west. Behind you, to the east is the metro. Or if you prefer, on the east side of the plaza is the Palace of Culture, something else impossible to miss. Conejitas is to the north. Veracruz church is to the south.

You're wrong because it's subjective. Somewhere there's a guy who thinks an Asian Massage Parlor in Indianapolis is the greatest spot in the world, and he's paying $240 for 30 minutes of CFS and CBJ, from a girl who's doing 10-15 guys a day, without a shower.
For me, Medellin is currently the best. I have friends there. I know my way around the city. I know where to find the girls I want no matter what my mood is. I know where to eat, where to drink and where to go when I don't know what I want to do. The climate is always in my comfort zone. I even had an umbrella at my friend's apartment until someone stole it last month.
The prices for everything are reasonable, the people are friendly, the public transportation is cheap and efficient. I also know enough of the language to get by.
However, if I spent a year in Thailand, Vietnam, Russia, Germany, Brazil, or just about anywhere else (assuming it was in my budget), I'd probably like that place the best. Or maybe after 3 weeks I'd be wishing I was back in Medellin.
I would like to experience Macau before I get too old to enjoy it. That probably won't happen since I'm beginning to suspect I'm already too old to enjoy it.

The lineup on Veracruz and Raudal looked about the same as I remember it from Feb / March of 2018. However, Botero Plaza had a lot of girls hanging around. I'm assuming they were Venezuelan. I'd guess between 30-50 in the early afternoon.

There will be lots of statues there and a park. There are girls scattered around sitting in the park, on the benches, etc. The highest concentration of girls will be standing at the intersection of Carrera 52 and Calle 52 to the north side of the Museum, also there are lots of girls hanging close by to the ice cream / yogurt stand on the corner at that intersection. There are girls out early in the morning in the park directly in front of the Museum but the best times are late afternoon. And besides this area, you can go down a block to Carrea 51 which has a string of bars with lots of girls hanging out in front. I don't usually pull girls from this area. There are Vennies there, however the greatest concentration is in the area I mentioned as a lot of the Vennies stay apart from the Colombians as they have invaded their turf. If your looking for beauty queens and / or have no Spanish speaking skills, I suggest you go to New Life, as that suits others better than the SW scene. There are lots of fuglies out there, but some gems can be found with patience. Please post your observations after trolling the area.

Some people say you should get a Colombian sim card because that will make the ladies think you live there. To me, that is nonsense. In fact, you can take the sim card out of your phone and still use Whatsapp. It is only needed when you register with Whatsapp or you change phones. Whatsapp uses the Internet, not cell phone companies. You can get a Colombian sim card if you want to call or text people in Medellin. Even that will not affect your Whatsapp.

I used to use a "travel phone' that was a multiband and would work anywhere once a bought a SIM card in a given country. Now I have a Google Pixel phone and whenever I get ready to go out of the country I buy a SIM card from Google on their Google Fi program. Google Fi gets service in 200 hundred countries Texting is free anywhere in the world but they charge 20 cents a minute for calls (how many actual calls does anyone make) . Plus I have a phone in my hand as soon as I hit the ground. I have had banking problems and apartment problems in the past when I needed my phone as soon as I arrived. My phone can also use wifi for calls, as I think most later model phones can, and then its free. Last time I checked the Google fi SIM cards only work on Google phones though. Damn that sounded like I was schilling for google, I'm not, but it is a very handy thing when traveling) But I do have to change my phone number to a phone number I have registered with Google. But even though my number changes, everything else in my phone stays the same, I. E. I have been in Medellin now for close to three weeks and I am yet to see the multitude of Venezuelans of which you speak. Firstly, there are much less in the casas than when I was last here in April. There are much less beggars holding signs stating (Soy Venezuelano etc. "). I have been walking all over El Centro looking for the Vene beauties with very little success. So far I have only sessioned Colombian street walkers and would definitely not pass on quality Venez punani if found. Where are they? Surfer, thanks for your input but I would really like other mongers to tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm thinking that those I saw last April have moved on to somewhere else.

Turgid, you are doing nothing wrong, I have not been specific as to where I have seen them all and it hasn't been in the Casa's or the bars, but specifically in and around the Park directly in front of the Museum and the pedestrian walkway to the Veracruz Church. The last few days I have seen more of them then I have ever seen, and if you go there around 4 in the afternoon you will just end up shaking your head as to how many there are..I agree with Surfer observation and I too hear the same and experience the same. Just yesterday I spent 6 hours doing normal stuff with a Venezuelan girl I befriended at one of those small bars and we hit it off and so I invited her to spend the day with me, get this I have not banged this beauty yet but working on it, know that some of them take some time to break through but when you do you get a sweet and fun loving cutie, They are a bit different of culture from the Colombian putas when it comes to partying and fucking.
The fact is that the Venezuelans are in every nook and cranny in Medellin, I mean everywhere and yes I have never seen so many chicas in Botero and the Vera as there are now. This last Sunday I sat in the museum cafe patio, which adjacent to the Botero plaza, and sipping my coffee for almost 2 hours and watched and observed the people and was in awe how many workers were out in the afternoon.

AT&T, T-Mobile, and Metro PCS phones work in Colombia with simply changing the SIM Card. If the phone is unlocked, but it is a Verizon, Boost, or Sprint phones, they will not work, I have tried, trust me on this. The easiest way is to have a travel phone, but to each his own. Right now I own a Samsung A50 with a dual SIM card, I use it in the US under metro PCS and in Colombia under Claro. I have a friend who buys my a monthly plan for 40,000 cop the day before I arrive and as soon as I land, I turn on the claro sim card and boom, I'm up and running. The funny thing is this, I paid about $225 usd for this Samsung A50 and it has a really good camera on the phone while in Colombia earlier this year. The same phone is nearly $425 usd in the united states. If you want to minimize the amount of a travel phone, go into any pawn shop and look for a metro or unlocked Samsung J3 prime phone, they are going for about $50-$75 usd and they will do everything you need while in Medellin, a SIM card is $5,000 cop, and a monthly plan is $40,000 cop for a total of about $17 usd. So once again, the easiest way to handle the phone situation in Colombia, come to Colombia with Google Fi or have a cheap unlocked phone to insert a Colombian sim and then by a cheap monthly plan. The best way to close a deal in Colombia, is to have boots on the ground and negotiate when you are present. This is a business for these girls with all having different reasons for being in it, but one outcome, to obtain as many pesos as possible. I am glad to know this, I use Verizon and they use CDMA technology which does not have carriers in every country.I have Verizon with International service and my phone works here just like in the USA. If your carrier is Verizon all you need to do is add an International Plan of which they have an option that costs $ 10 a day. With the plan I have I can receive and make calls from anywhere in Colombia as though as I was at home. As an example, if I want to call someone in the USA I just go to contacts and the number is dialed. As far as Whatsapp, Tinder, or anything else it works in Colombia just like at home with the Verizon service I have which is expensive, but very reliable. I have used my phone all over the world, IE; for UBER etc. And it's been like I never left the USA. So if you have Verizon service your best option might just be adding International service versus having to change SIM cards.

Also, how's Colombia in October & November?There is a Scotiabank ATM in Poblado in the vicinity of opposite the Holiday Inn Express so you should have no problem with ATM. Call your local bank before leaving. Nevertheless I would advise on bringing requisite amount of cash depending on your length of stay. Colombia is great any time of year.

She's narcissistic like most of them so if you have a good situation to offer where she can take some photos and does not have a better opportunity she would probably do it. But be aware that between the time a date is made and she's supposed to be on her way a better offer could be made. Undoubtedly there were good girls and great times to be had in Help. The Termas were often incredible so by the time I made it to Help at midnight it didn't matter to me if I hooked up. Some people would come to Rio only for Help but to me, on its own, it was not that great a draw. I mean, I would not fly to Rio and spend my days hanging around the beach only to go to Help at night. Termas were more productive to me though I would use Help, Termas, and sites like riosexsite.com . Altogether it was a field day.
However, I don't believe the girls in Rio are that much better than Colombia. There were some stunners in Rio and I'm sure there are still. Some of the girls have the most incredible asses. But I have never been in Medellin wishing instead I were in Rio. I feel safer in Medellin and I have much better relationships with people in Colombia. Also of note is that you can fly to MDE in half the time and spend quite a lot less money. I can do two trips to Colombia for the price of a trip to Rio. However, the dollar is gaining strength on the Real so who knows.

Interesting. I am one who tries to get my requirements specified before time. However I get many chicas answering "no. " For example, in the last week I have had only one acceptance out of five on Facebook. Perhaps I put my list together wrong. However, I have thinking it is the BBBJ issue. From my experience, Colombian chicas in other countries such as Argentina and Panama almost always (80%) insist on a CBJ.

YFor those of you that think more $ gets you finer pussy or performance, I wish you well. My experience is that the correlation is not clear. Since I am one who seems to be offering 50 k more than the going rate, I agree with you that probably I am not getting a better performance paying extra. The only thing I am ensuring is that I am meeting my expectations for a cita. Since I am getting plenty of rejections, I don't think I am grossly overpaying.
The majority of my friends are "go with the flow" guys. Recently my friend was almost surprised that I was laying out what I wanted before I left the bar.
It is also a fact especially in Medellin that some guys provide aphrodisiacs such as 420 during a session. This is something I don't do. Although I do not do 420, I am a Deadhead so I have been there and know about the benefits. I suspect this might be helping the "go with the flow" guys.

When I am down there and I see the English guided tour groups being escorted thru the area, I wonder if any of the people on the tour ever ask, why are there so many women standing around all over the place. Perhaps the tour guide tells them what's up?

I have Verizon with International service and my phone works here just like in the USA. If your carrier is Verizon all you need to do is add an International Plan of which they have an option that costs $ 10 a day. With the plan I have I can receive and make calls from anywhere in Colombia as though as I was at home. As an example, if I want to call someone in the USA I just go to contacts and the number is dialed. As far as Whatsapp, Tinder, or anything else it works in Colombia just like at home with the Verizon service I have which is expensive, but very reliable. I have used my phone all over the world, IE; for UBER etc. And it's been like I never left the USA. So if you have Verizon service your best option might just be adding International service versus having to change SIM cards.Verizon must have added more bands to their phones since I looked into it. But it's still cheaper for me to go with Google Fi, It's cost is $20 a month unlimited texting, plus $10 GB data, on average I use 1 GB a week if I don't have consistent wifi, half that if I do. For 2 weeks that's $40 which would only be 4 days on Verizon international plan. I used it on a two week trip to Europe two years ago and only spent $30 because I had WiFi most of the time.

You have the location correct, to better orientate yourself, go to the main entrance of the Museum, stand in front of the Museum and look towards the Metro line. There will be lots of statues there and a park. So once again, the easiest way to handle the phone situation in Colombia, come to Colombia with Google Fi or have a cheap unlocked phone to insert a Colombian sim and then by a cheap monthly plan. There is a Scotiabank ATM in Poblado in the vicinity of opposite the Holiday Inn Express so you should have no problem with ATM. Call your local bank before leaving. I go with a dual SIM phone for the past 10 years or so. I find it the most convenient for travel and home use. I keep a spare phone with as a backup only. As soon as I land, I turn on my Google Pixel 2 XL with my Verizon Unlimited plan. My phone works immediately. I get 0.5 GB daily of high speed data. Drops to 2 G speed after that. Once per day Verizon texts me to let me know how many free days I have left, or to tell me I'm being charged $10 for the day. No need to switch SIMs, no need to activate a SIM, no need to pay 2 different companies.
It's not cheaper. My Verizon plan is $55/ month. I have an $850 phone and after 5 days in Colombia my International plan costs $10/ day.
However, I get unlimited 4 G data, 75 GB per month of 5 G data and 30 GB of mobile hotspot data in the US. Most importantly I get the Verizon network. The T-Mobile / Metro PCS network is fine, as long as you never leave the city. There are too many gaping holes in the network for me.
Your way is a better way, for someone who frequently travels to only 1 country. If your phone gets broken or stolen, you're only out a cheap phone. You have a local number for use in Colombia, while still having your US number available.
For someone who travels often to several countries, especially if they are spending 5 days or less per month outside the US, Verizon Unlimited plans (or Google FI) are the way to go. It's also easier for someone who rarely travels. Sucks to spend $200-$300 on a cheap phone, go to the trouble of buying a local SIM, paying to load some data and then only use it once, because you decide to go somewhere else the next year.
For the record, I also have a dual SIM Huawei Mate 9. Paid about $300 for it in Medellin after my Samsung S7 Edge got broken. It has my old T-Mobile SIM and a Claro SIM. I keep it as an emergency backup phone. If I was spending 30-180 days a year in Colombia, I'd be using the Claro SIM.
There are lots of options. Pick the one that best fits your travel style.
I go with a dual SIM phone for the past 10 years or so. I find it the most convenient for travel and home use. I keep a spare phone with as a backup only. I use a local SIM for data service when I'm out of my home coverage area. Every so often a local phone number comes in handy but it's less and less often.It's interesting how everybody has a different way they handle their cell phone communication overseas.
In Colombia I rarely take my " I " phone out of my apartment out of fear of it being stolen. Because if it is, there is no way to get my Verizion telephone number back and working until I get back to the USA. At least that is what Verizion has told me, maybe that has changed recently. I handle all of my business dealings, Whatsapp messaging etc. While in my apartment. But also have a local Colombian cell ($30 USD Nokia) I use in Colombia. As I am on the METRO daily and walking all over El Centro most days I cannot afford to lose my I phone. I basically treat it security wise like my Passport. I also think everyone has become to dependent on smart phones, with boarding passes, etc. And almost everything else on them, what a nightmare if you lose one.
If you decide to buy a "burner phone"' or inexpensive smart phone with a Colombian SIM card for use in Colombia, it will only be valid for I believe thirty days unless registered with a carrier like CLARO. I recommend CLARO as a carrier here only because they have so many offices everywhere versus TIGO or others.
A few months ago on a flight from Medellin to Santa Marta, my local Colombian cell phone fell out of my pocket on the flight and I lost it. Not a problem, when I landed in Santa Marta I went to the Claro office and paid like $ 2 USD and was issued a new SIM card with the same number. If I had lost my USA cell I would of been hosed.
Everybody's situation is different, so there's no right way or wrong way to handle communication Overseas. I employ the same above-mentioned strategy when I go to the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, and Thailand because I am out on the streets walking around a lot. When I land at the airport, I purchase a SIM card and put in my burner phone and am ready to go!

Balboa is out!Here in the US Sprint's network might not be as ubiquitous as Verizon and AT&T but their international roaming is excellent. Two years ago Verizon's international plan was so expensive that I had to get a SIM card every time I traveled and it was not transparent- people could tell I was traveling if I called back to US. It was basically $40 for 100 mb data (which is nothing) and perhaps 100 minute talk time and the price of exceeding that was punitive. Sprint's international data roaming is free, although slower than 3G, but the option of buying some megabytes of 4G are available and a hell of a lot cheaper than Verizon's $40 for 100 mb. I just don't need it for wpp and FB in the streets of MDE or where wifi is available. Calls within Colombia or to US are 20 cents a minute.

I first stayed in Hotels, Suite comfort and TRYP both in Laurles near the stadium, I booked for 2 people and the girl had to show her ID at the desk then she came on up or I went down and got her. Now I stay at Airbnb much cheaper ($25-65 nt) and more privacy (sometimes). I am trying a new Airbnb this trip so we will see.

Thanks in advance.As a rule, chicas are not banned from hotels. Some hotels will not allow local females to enter the rooms unless they are registered. Some will charge a fee for them to enter. Some will allow them to enter if they have an ID showing that they are 18 or older. You need to ask the hotel if they allow local guests to visit you in your room. The hotels that don't allow local visitors will not allow them in, whether they arrive alone or with a hundred people.

Booked already Ayenda 1235 Botero hotel (I read all cons and pros and despite my Spanish limited to 20 words -for many years just plan to start learning. I've been in rough places and hopefully will survive).
I have free cancellation with Expedia, so if veterans convince me that I should stay somewhere else. I'll think about it.
The only question that bothers me for now. I've read that there is NO in-room safe in Botero hotel. Where do you guys keep your passports, cards, money?
If anybody is going to be in Medellin Sep 4 - Sep 8 - will gladly meet and share beer and stories.

Thanks in advance.The best thing to do is contact the hotel that you're staying in and they will let you know what the policy is. Most of the hotels I looked at charge extra for you to bring the girls up as long as they have proper ID. But quite honestly I'd rather just hit them at the houses or strip clubs and go back to my room. If you're not on a budget and insist on a hotel then treat yourself and pay the extra cash to bring them up. I know I would.

As soon as I land (without buying a sim) I restart my phone. While I e I'm in Customs line I usually get a text message from Sprint saying "Welcome To Sprint, you are in Colombia" then it tells me my rates. Free text 25 cent per min calls. Now here's the catch. The service sucks when using GPS oriented apps. Google Maps, Uber, etc. Sprint sends a message right after the welcome text saying for $10 they can upgrade you to the "high speed" roaming capabilities. It's worth every penny. But sprint works there. Maybe it's a phone issue for some.

It's not the guys who overpay the girls who are the biggest threat to a mongering destination. It's the guys who binge on Narcos, thinking it's a realistic representation of Medellin.
There's a regular stream of posts from them, and who knows how many get blocked by the admins, displaying the wrong attitude. They all plan on partying like rock stars, with no regard for the people who live there.
Add in the recent fool on YouTube who was teaching guys to harass and intimidate Colombian women. It's bound to create some anger towards the US tourists. There's other factors, but I don't want to get a political argument started.
Will it affect the typical visitor? Probably not. If you're using discretion, keeping a low profile and showing some respect most people will remain friendly. You might get a few more nasty looks than before, but no real issues.

I used to juggle sim cards when I traveled. I tried T-Mobile and Sprint internationally and hated the slow speeds and awful customer service.
If you spend any significant amount of time outside the US, and are from the US, I think Google Fi is a no-brainer for mobile phone service. It's cheap, reliable and has excellent customer service. It leverages both the Sprint and T-Mobile international networks seamlessly connecting to the strongest. When I was in Peru and T-Mobile's network was down it auto-connected to Sprint. When I was in New Zealand which had no Sprint partner it worked great with T-Mobile. I get LTE speed over 95% of the time. When connected to Wifi calls home are free. Otherwise 20 cents a minute. Free SMS worldwide. Pay for the mobile data you use. My monthly bills average less than $30 a month. Only downside is that it works best with the phones they sell, though it is now compatible with other phones (see their site). I'm a Pixel fan boy, think they are better than iPhones and now they have the mid-range priced 3 a series. I have used it in 14 countries (including Colombia).

For some of the newbies. I go to Medellin and Cartagena every few months. I have a set program that works "for me" I figured I would share. A lot of other seasoned mongers will hate my program. But to each their own. Maybe they're is someone similar to me personally wise that this will help. Because this is the Medellin board I will start there.
Pro tip: on the way to the air port stop at Walmart and get your own condoms that you are comfortable and used too. Don't "wing" this one IMO. Also a small speaker for music and fuenshi LOL.
Usually I fly from Cartagena on Friday or Saturday into Medellin. $60 flight. Flight gets me in around 1 pm. Perfect timing. If possible. Buy your bottles at the duty free. Don't bring them from home unless you don't mind weighing down your luggage LOL. As soon as I get my bags I walk right past the money exchange. All my money is on a debit card except a stashed emergency $300. This makes for easy withdrawals of Colombian Pesos at great rates from ATMs. I walk all the way to the back of the airport past the restrooms and next to the elevators (not the escalators) and withdraw about 600 to 1200 k pesos ($200 -$400). And the party begins. I'm a 36 year old, in shape, black guy that speaks English with minimal slang but know maybe 5 sentences in Spanish haha. I'm a laugh and party guy so I cater to that vibe of fun in Medellin. And I only travel alone. My rules my way.
Stay: I always book an Air BNB. Always. I don't deal with hotels or security guards if at all possible. Some see the huge security benefit in it. I personally like the privacy of the Air BNBs and prefer to have my own security measures and screenings. Again to each their own. I only book my Airbnb in Poblado within 10 streets of LLares. On the Air BNB App I type in Parque Llares. Then click the map and recenter my search right around llares. The lowest I go is Poblado Park up to up to Carrera 34. Maximum. The goal in this is so that I don't need taxis and Ubers much if at all save a few bucks and get the on ground experience. There are so many regular people walking this area, I feel safer on foot with all the street vendors and foreigners than in some random persons car. But to each their own. There is a group called Life Afar and they are luxury for cheap rentals. I only book through them recently. It seems they never have guest fees, always have your own key to your apartment and entrance, and best noone to judge you at the front door as you fulfill your crazy desires hahaha. I'm trying a big girl for once this trip! Never had it haha and running out of fetishes LOL.
Once there: the drive from the airport is about an hour. So if you can book an early flight, shoot for the noon or 1 pm arrival. Most check ins are at 3 or 4 pm any way so getting there around 2 with hour drive should get you there at a reasonable time. I like air BNB because you can usually get an early check in if you give them a heads up. Worst case get dropped off at your place then walk to one of the million surrounding restaurants to burn time or start messaging those chicas.
Once I get into my apartment I usually unpack everything then start hiding valuables. Don't put all your important stuff in one place. I put cash in books, under plants, in shoes hahaha. Just take a picture of each hiding spot or you'll forget. Next I immediately log into facebook (my Medellin account) and tinder and make it clear I'm in town. Usually within an hour my inbox starts dinging new messages and hearts on the status. All the girls that ignored me seem to become interested when they know I'm here and within range. Hahaha.
Setup: I usually walk to the grocery store on CL. 10. There I buy my Aguardiente, Titos, some flavored vodka, Ron Medellin and some sort of tequila. This is for my home bar and entertainment needs at home. Nothing worse than having a girl over and no alcohol to break the ice. Also good pregame sessions before partying at night. Lower tab too. I then walk back to the store and buy mixers and snacks to lay out on the table. Like the individual multipacks of chips and a large bottle water and ice. I usually by large a bucket of KFC for a few bucks. The chicas come over after the bars and melt over seeing fried chicken at 3 am. All together $35 in on food and drinks + alcohol. This is. My standard apartment set up.
Day time:
I don't normally see a ton of available chicas walking around LLares during the day. Mainly a bunch of locals and foreigners shopping and hanging out. So this is when I go site seeing and restaurants hopping. I'm a big foodie. Day time is Getting instagram pictures and crap to cover up to my friends back home why I am here hahahah. Normally if I develop an urge during the day I usually 100% hit up Photoprepagos website or Milleroticos which has been flawless for me so far. Only one bait and switch experience. Hahhah but it was fun and I still did it hahaha it was a good laugh moment for me to remember. I also have about 1000 chicas on my Medellin facebook account. Only one male friend hahahhaah. Read my other post on how I did that. Facebook is a expensive brothel to me at this point with quotes from 175 k up to 600 k depending on how into you she is.
CENTRO: HATE IT. Worst experience ever. Even worse in Bogota but Medellin hasn't given me anything either. I just can't find the places that everyone working girl shops peacefully hahah. Maybe it's me or my personality and comfort. Or just sick of the ghetto mindset.
Again I'm going to pissoff a few specific seasone people but it is what it is. I don't like digging through the weeds! Maybe I was on the wrong streets at the wrong time all 4 times that I tried. But it sucked! It was way too disgusting for me. It was like looking for a Dime in a crack house. Everyone around seemed sketchy, drugged out, transvestite, or just plain out unsafe. Never felt comfortable. Constantly watching for pick pockets or stick up kids, stepping over drugged out homeless people, everyone looking at me like who is this guy, (got called lebron James or mike Tyson easily 30 times.) A few normal people but I'm just too much of a sore thumb. Being a solo traveler with a sense of fashion and also standing at 6'4 250 lbs it's best for me to stay on the beaten path. I don't like having to dress like I'm homeless to blend in. That's just not fun to me. I don't like having to give the don't mess with me look to everyone that I pass and sees a gringo opportunity. I grew up in a similar environment just with northern americans. I just don't feel like I enjoy that kind of hunt anymore. Thats a last case environment for me personally. I reached my version of success in life. I have nooooo desire to fish in those lakes anymore even for a $40 discount. I'd perfer the environment where I can "safely" kick back more than being in alert mode while looking for chicas. Hope that makes sense. My face says I'm relaxed but my brain is in protection mode constantly. The whole street Walker scene is deep for me and I have to learn it at some point. But if you arent seasoned. Fine a buddy first or have dress homeless, put black stickers on your teeth so they appear missing, wear an eye patch, and drag one leg as if its limp until you see your diamond in the ruff. Maybe you'll feel blended in. Hahah.
At night around 10 pm I walk to Llares and go to Gustos for a few drinks to check the early talent. Usually on a Saturday there are about 20 girls and 20 to 30 guys walking around scoping each other out. I've got about 5 regulars in there and one bar tender so it's always like a reunion when I walk in. I normally order a few drinks and sit in the walking path tables. If nothing stunning crosses I go back down the elevator and walk to La Hacienda. THAT PLACE USED TO BE AMAZING WITH TALENT BUT THE PRICE WENT UP. One chica told me the whole scheme. Long story short, they are paid to be there. And must charge 600 k! She said they have to pay an exit fee themselves so they must stay until close hoping a guy willing to pay that price chooses them. The selection was impeccable and more girls than guys. But at 600 k I just flirt have a drink then sneak out after a few empty promises and phone numbers. Hahaha. Save this thought. After I sneak out I then bounce to all the little bars in the park. I normally find them too Colombian and find myself a bit too gringo. But I still force myself to go just for the experience. I then eventually find myself back to Gustos. I flirt with a few chicas while walking back but be careful. A few of the hid transvestite work the concrete stairs of the park getting guys going back and fourth through the bars. As it gets later I gain a bit more thirst to pick my night cap. By now the best one that I saw earlier is gone. And the 2nd best has a guy all over her. I'm normally kicking myself for passing on them at about 1 am. The alcohol is kicked in and my standards have lowere back into Gustos to see the new wave of partiers that have arrived since I left. I usually pick one one new one or a past. I get alot of higher quotes in gustos. Never lower than 250 k but max so far has been 350 k. RUMOR: So La Hacienda has been shut down by the city for whatever reason. My chica from there told me that all the girls now moved to the club down the street from Gustos by that weird little food window. It's like a expensive liquor storee and an open walled club above it that you can see from the street. I can't remember the name of it but theres always promoters trying to wave passer bye in. I never bit but this time I will try when I get there this Weekend. Worth a look. But. I hope they don't take that 600 k price with them and especially up to Gustos. If you guys are getting higher quotes there now, that would explain it. All it takes is for one girl to demand 600 k and then share with the other chicas and boom. Immediate inflation. (as if 300 k isn't already.) I perfer Gustos on a Sunday night. Seems like less guy competition as most are leaving early in the am and it appears the selection is alot more "available " and negotiations easier. On a Sunday I walk around like a God in there hahahah rejecting girls left and right hahahah. Saturday nights I have to do most of the ice breaking. I always use Photoprepagos and milleroticos to suppliment the days and evening sessions. I still find myself paying 200 k ish. Ove gone to the massage parlors during the day and was blown away by the 20 girl line up in Energy. But I kind of like entertaining in the privacy of my own home. It feels less mechanical when they are on my turf. By Monday morning all my snacks are gone, chicken buckets digested, alcohol down to the minimums. I normally book as late of a flight as possible for Monday. This way I have time to wake up hungover and maybe call in a chick from the sites for a farewell gift to myself.
This program works flawlessly for me and not for others.
Expenses: remember I plan for worst case so these numbers are the most I plan to spend. I always have carry over I budget Air BNb to cost me $70 to $90 per night paid before I arrive. Once on ground I budget 3 meals at $20 (usually cost less but this is how I plan it) so $60 per day for fine dining at great restaurants. I expect to buy $100 worth of alcohol for my home bar. I put 250 dollars per day for chicas (don't skimp here. This is the whole goal! That's a guaranteed 2 or 3 sessions (which is all I need). If using casa or sites it will cost less but just for budgeting purposes. I give myself an $80 bar tab limit which I never hit and usually have carry over. I plan $15 for ubers and taxi. That is a good base for me. Again corners and prices can be cut or surpassed!! That's just my expectations.
Final thought: buy condoms before arrival, buy alcohol in The air port or at a grocery store and not the liquor stores, use your debit card to get money in COP rather than bring dollars to exchange and ensure you notify your bank before. Stash emergency money and valuables in places besides the provided safe AND TAKE PICS OF WHERE. Don't aimlessly venture into Centro unless you're ready for that life. Get in convo with Tallman or Pollo Loco or whoever you feel knows how to handle that environment. I want you to be "safer" and "minimize" risk. Have snacks and drinks and mixers in your apartment to keep the chicas relaxed. I had a threesome that last 6 hours once because they were have so much fun. We banged and walked around naked and drinking and more sex over and over until they finally left. They begged to come back the next night but the train had left hahaha and a new chica was on board. Lastly set your own budget before coming. Think of everything you would want to do there in one day and put a escalated at max price next to it. Build a smart but flexible budget that is obtainable. Don't let anyone tell you you are spending too much or that the Centro girls are disgusting as I think they are. Figure out your program and perfect it.
My next goal is to figure out how to safely, privately, and low stressfully navigate Centro in a way I'm not always looking over my shoulder. In poblado it's the same as if I am at home, just with better women. And most of all, this program works for me!! It won't work for everyone unless you are as handsome as I am hahahha I'll be in Cartagena Tuesday through Friday then Medellin Saturday through Tuesday morning. Hit me up!

This is finally hitting Medellin as there seems to be some sentiment to keep those traveling here for vices away along with pushback on gentrification.I would have to wonder what percentage of the population actually feels this way. There is always an Element in every society that pushed back against change. I don't understand why "gentrification" is a bad thing in some places. When it crowds or people to where they can't afford the sky high rent I understand, but tourist are not moving to Medellin in drives, so I have to wonder if this isn't some people who just like to be against something.

The only question that bothers me for now -I've read that there is NO in-room safe in Botero hotel. Where do you guys keep your passports, cards, money?.I have stayed there 4 times for almost a month, I just hide my passport in the room but you can have the front desk put it in their safe but get it back on a week day a day or 2 early before you leave in case the office is closed when you leave. Money I just get what I need from the ATM every day, keep some in my pocket and most plus credit card and copy of passport in money belt under my clothes.

Colombians love Americans and things American. IMO if you are a young white American male you really don't even need to monger especially if you know a little Spanish.
My experience with Sprint has been no issue. As soon as I land (without buying a sim) I restart my phone. While I e I'm in Customs line I usually get a text message from Sprint saying "Welcome To Sprint, you are in Colombia" then it tells me my rates. Free text 25 cent per min calls. Now here's the catch. The service sucks when using GPS oriented apps. Google Maps, Uber, etc. Sprint sends a message right after the welcome text saying for $10 they can upgrade you to the "high speed" roaming capabilities. It's worth every penny. But sprint works there. Maybe it's a phone issue for some.One of us misunderstand what PN is saying. You are roaming so you don't have a problem. Try to put a Colombia SIM in your sprint phone to see if it works.

Go to Facebook. Search for "happy ending Medellin." Go to the first profile that pops up. Go to the friend list. There are at least 28 working girls on the friend list, but it's probably closer to 50. There are also a large number of gringo mongers on the list.
Look at each girl's Facebook. If she looks good, add her as a friend. Repeat until you've sent a friend request to all of them. In a few hours you should start getting responses. Some will respond in a few hours, some in a few weeks, some never.

It's sad how bad the air gets contaminated here in town. Especially when there are no windy days and / or rain to cleanse the air in the Valley.
You don't really realize how bad it is until you leave town. I went to Guatape for the weekend and you could see for miles in the crisp crystal clear air in the mountains.
Upon returning to town, you could see the smog sitting in the valley and the air smelled bad. I remember back in the Spring the air contamination was so bad that one week all of the public "Undiad Deportivas" sport complexes were closed for almost a week. It's even gotten so bad in the past they have even banned cars besides Pico and Placa and let everyone ride the METRO for free.
The majority of the air pollution comes from all of the vehicles. They require annual smog checks for all the vehicles here. However, their emission allowances are not as strict as many locales in the USA. They have a higher sulfer content in the gasoline here. So they are saving money by not having to refine the gasoline as much. They could help alleviate the problem by refining the gasoline more but it would increase the cost of gasoline substantially.
Additionally, the City has been putting in dedicated bike lanes all over the City to help go green. However, by doing so they have also taken away car lanes and as a result travel time by car and congestion has increased substantially in the areas with the dedicated bike lanes.

I used to juggle sim cards when I traveled. I tried T-Mobile and Sprint internationally and hated the slow speeds and awful customer service.
If you spend any significant amount of time outside the US, and are from the US, I think Google Fi is a no-brainer for mobile phone service. It's cheap, reliable and has excellent customer service. It leverages both the Sprint and T-Mobile international networks seamlessly connecting to the strongest. When I was in Peru and T-Mobile's network was down it auto-connected to Sprint. When I was in New Zealand which had no Sprint partner it worked great with T-Mobile. I get LTE speed over 95% of the time. When connected to Wifi calls home are free. Otherwise 20 cents a minute. Free SMS worldwide. Pay for the mobile data you use. My monthly bills average less than $30 a month. Only downside is that it works best with the phones they sell, though it is now compatible with other phones (see their site). I'm a Pixel fan boy, think they are better than iPhones and now they have the mid-range priced 3 a series. I have used it in 14 countries (including Colombia).

Funny, You just described the Mansion Regulars!I admit I have a love-hate relationship with the Mansion. Yep it is a bit of a crutch and one certainly does not have to stay there to meet great girls. But it has some advantages even for the seasoned MDE visitor.
First (and with an unblemished history of heterosexuality) I've made some great friends from the fellow travelers that have stayed there. Second they do an excellent job of validating cedulas. OK guys, for the frequent posters here, why'all know I've posted my intention of coming to Colombia on this forum. I originally planned for a full 3 months to be split between Colombia, Sao Paulo, & Rio. The bad news is I will have settle for 9 weeks instead. The good news is the trip is still happening! I plan to stay 3 weeks in Colombia.
I'm currently shopping for flight tickets. I found flights from LAX to Bogota to be almost half as much as flights to Sao Paulo. So its obvious from the money side, that I should fly into Bogota. I then will stay one night in Bogota and then fly to Rio the next day. After spending 6 weeks in Brazil, I will fly back to Bogota and stay in Colombia for 3 weeks. Then from Bogota, I will fly back to the states. I know logistically this is doable. How does flight plan seem to you guys? I will have problems with customs in either Brazil or Colombia? That's the only thing I'm worried about.
I know Colombia require travelers from Brazil a yellow vaccination to enter the country, which I already gotten earlier this year, so I should be good from that.

Probably best to stick to the Casa's as El Centro can be dangerous and a bit tricky at times, especially with no Spanish speaking skills.

No Spanish speaking skills doesn't mean that you can't navigate or be successful in El Centro, but it's not like the DR where most of the clients are foreigners versus in El Centro where most of the clients are Colombians. When I visit Medellin which is quite often I will rent a apartment for a month and will check into the Mansion for 2 or 3 nights in the beginning. I always have a great time partying there and grab around 10 -12 phone numbers from the Chicas there. Then when I leave to go back to my apartment I have plenty of screened Chica's to draw on. Facebook is a little difficult for me for obvious reasons, kind of difficult getting that 2nd account set up for me any way. I many Colombians are wary of the sex tourist due to all the articles that are written about us in their papers. I was in a Cafe there around 3 weeks ago in El Poblado and they had a sign that said "No Sex Tourists". So when you visit have a good time but try to show a little respect.
This type of reaction is inevitable. It's not the guys who overpay the girls who are the biggest threat to a mongering destination. It's the guys who binge on Narcos, thinking it's a realistic representation of Medellin.
There's a regular stream of posts from them, and who knows how many get blocked by the admins, displaying the wrong attitude. They all plan on partying like rock stars, with no regard for the people who live there.
Add in the recent fool on YouTube who was teaching guys to harass and intimidate Colombian women. It's bound to create some anger towards the US tourists. There's other factors, but I don't want to get a political argument started.
Will it affect the typical visitor? Probably not. If you're using discretion, keeping a low profile and showing some respect most people will remain friendly. You might get a few more nasty looks than before, but no real issues.

Once per day Verizon texts me to let me know how many free days I have left, or to tell me I'm being charged $10 for the day. No need to switch SIMs, no need to activate a SIM, no need to pay 2 different companies.
It's not cheaper. My Verizon plan is $55/ month. I have an $850 phone and after 5 days in Colombia my International plan costs $10/ day.
However, I get unlimited 4 G data, 75 GB per month of 5 G data and 30 GB of mobile hotspot data in the US. Most importantly I get the Verizon network. The T-Mobile / Metro PCS network is fine, as long as you never leave the city. There are too many gaping holes in the network for me..

The plan provides 5 days free international roaming per month. After that it's $10 per day ($5 in Mexico and Canada). If you spend the entire month outside the US it would be $230-$260 more.
For someone who travels internationally frequently, there are better options than what I use. For someone who uses lots of data, but seldom leaves the US for long periods, it's a good option.
For someone who travels inside the US frequently, unless they're flying city to city, T-Mobile is almost useless. Driving 75 miles (200-300 if you're in the west) just to get enough of a signal to receive an important email doesn't work for me. Spending 12 hours with zero service doesn't work either. Not to mention having no service at home.
If I go back to spending 3 days every week in Toronto, I'll probably have to make a change, or just use the company phone.
OK guys, for the frequent posters here, why'all know I've posted my intention of coming to Colombia on this forum. I originally planned for a full 3 months to be split between Colombia, Sao Paulo, & Rio. The bad news is I will have settle for 9 weeks instead. The good news is the trip is still happening! I'm currently shopping for flight tickets. I found flights from LAX to Bogota to be almost half as much as flights to Sao Paulo. So its obvious from the money side, that I should fly into Bogota. I then will stay one night in Bogota and then fly to Rio the next day. After spending 6 weeks in Brazil, I will fly back to Bogota and stay in Colombia for 3 weeks. Then from Bogota, I will fly back to the states. I know logistically this is doable. How does flight plan seem to you guys? I will have problems with customs in either Brazil or Colombia? That's the only thing I'm worried about.
I know Colombia require travelers from Brazil a yellow vaccination to enter the country, which I already gotten earlier this year, so I should be good from that.Maybe I'm not reading it correctly, but whilst you've found cheap tickets to Bogota, you'll have to pay for BOG-GIG as well, no? I will confirm. I made a few tours of El Centro last month.

As part of my quest to add new information to the Board, I decided to book through the La Celestina agency.

Maybe I'm not reading it correctly, but whilst you've found cheap tickets to Bogota, you'll have to pay for BOG-GIG as well, no? I mean, does the total price difference justify the extra hassle of having a long layover in BOG and paying for a hotel, considering that you're coming back to Colombia for 3 weeks anyway?If I was just going to Brazil, then yes it would be easier to just fly directly into Brazil. But since I am going to spend 3 weeks in Colombia also, I would save considerable amount of money (at least to me) to book my round trip ticket from LAX. BOG. The cheapest round trip ticket from LA to Sao Paulo is around $800, while from LA to Bogota is around $400. A round trip ticket from Bogota to Rio is also around $400 and vice versa. So by flying into Colombia first and stay for 3 weeks, then fly to Brazil, I save about $400. Of course, I would have to fly back into Colombia to catch my return flight back to US. But the saving to me is worth it.

If you have attempted to pick some of the Venezuelan SW's thus far and have not had any luck, it may be because your selection criteria is too high, and / or your Spanish skills are holding you back. Another words, if you found one SW you liked and had a rough time speaking with her and couldn't close the deal that would make sense versus if you spoke with five SW's and couldn't close the deal. Generally, a lot of the Venezuelans are better educated than the Colombians, and for me there Spanish is easier to understand. Some of them are very sweet, but a lot them are just to fat for me. Maybe it's just me, but the Venezuelans stand out. The guys who spend all their time walking the streets in El Centro probably pick up on this easier. The Colombian girls are a natural part of the environment. They blend in.
The Venezuelans don't blend. They're out of place, they don't move smoothly through the plaza. They walk faster and talk louder. At least to me, they seem out of place.Well at least you noticed them, however there are others who couldn't identify them.
When I'm on the prowl on the streets for poontang I have no concern for nationality. I choose what interests me, same in casas. I have sessioned a few Venezuelans in casas but not on the streets. If they are ugly I will take no interest and be unconcerned whether they are Venies or not. For me its looks first; the Venies I have sessioned so far have been top notch in looks and service. A future visit to Caracas is definitely in the cards.You may not get to visit Caracas for a very long time given the political situation there, so why not go to "Little Caracas" here in Medellin?
Perhaps this sounds a little odd, but like in most major cities in the US there are Chinatowns, Koreatowns, and Little Italy's that exist, so I am going to take the liberty of identifying "Little Caracas" here in Medellin.
Yesterday while in El Centro I was talking with one of my Colombian regulars about all the Venezuelans before doing the deed in the room. She told me that up until approximately a month ago, there had been several fights between the Venezuelans and the Colombians who were beating the Venezuelans up on the backside of the Church with all the bars, etc. According to her, the Venezuelans have been undercutting the Colombians since they started to arrive just over a year ago. As an example, the Venezuelans will go with guys for say 20 K, when the Colombians were getting say 30 K before the Venezuelans showed up. These are not hard price points, but illustrate what has been going on since their arrival.
So according to my regular, approximately a month ago the majority of the Venezuelans moved over to the Intersection of Carrea 52 and Calle 52 adjacent to Botero Plaza and the Museum, and since then there has been a major reduction in the fighting etc. I was a bit perplexed by this wanting to know who made this happen etc. And asked if the Police had been involved somehow in establishing the area for the Venezuelans and she said no, that the Police only had been breaking up the fights, and nothing more. She also told me that there are still a few Venezuelans on the backside of the Church with the bars, but not many left.
This confirms what I have witnessed in this area over the last month and makes sense. I guess the Venezuelans after getting beat up enough have decided to stay away from the Colombians. And " Little Caracas" exists right in the middle of the tourist area so is much safer for them versus the backside of the Church. However this doesn't address the undercutting going on, which was the source of the problem to begin with. All of the Colombian men, and some of us on this board, know where to find the Venezuelans and it's a buyers market for sure.
I have also noticed a lot more prettier and slim Venezuelans that have shown up in "Little Caracas" in the last few weeks. Maybe word has gotten back to Venezuela that Medellin is a safer / better place to go now than some of the other cities in Colombia, or maybe Maduro is just letting some of the prettier ones out of his country!
So why would someone wait to travel at some indefinite date in the future to Venezuela, when they could partake in "Little Caracas" here in Medellin!
Money I believe is all in Pesos, and I am sure the larger Casinos will gladly exchange USD for Pesos but you will get hosed on the exchange rate. Bring ATM cards to withdraw pesos!You must be speculating. I've gotten good rates at casinos in this town. Of course, they don't discourage changing your cash as the House expects to end up with it anyway. A general rule of thumb anywhere in the world is to change dollars at a casino.
Can you tell us more about the police whistling girls away.
So this was a police round up of a few girls standing around at 8 AM in the morning? Sounds very peculiar indeed unless there was some type of commotion.

First of all, thank you all for the reports you published, the material you shared. I found everything I needed here. OK, where do I start. Arrived Medellin at 2 pm on the first day, solo traveler. Did all my research but was really scared to step outside of the airport, well that's how it started. But however took a taxi paid 75 mil I guess and headed to San Peters in Laureles. The minute I reached the apartment I already started loving the weather in Medellin. It's gentle breeze not hot not cold, just perfect for me.
On the first day called in a busty photoprepago girl in her 30's I guess. She was very good. Paid like 130 k including taxi for an hour. The best thing about Colombian girls I like is they are very sensual and accommodating. Every other girl I spent time with, I felt the same. Is there a hotel in Parque LLeras that is nice, safe, clean, breakfast and won't give me issues with bringing a girl back?

No need to wait for things to start improving in Venezuela to hook up with them which probably won't be for a long time.
As I have stated in numerous posts, if you go to the Intersection of Calle 52 and Carrea 53 in El Centro you will find tons of Venezuelans in and around this location. And the good news is that there are actually some pretty and thin one's out there that I have seen within the past week. I have gotten quotes of between 25 K and 30 K from some of them, and one quoted me 30 K for one pop and 50 K for two pops. And the truth is, they will go for less than that if you want to negotiate.
A friend of mine down here pointed out some of them whom he bare-backs as well. So no need to wait for the overthrow of Maduro to partake in the Venezuelan pussy available right here in Medellin and at bargain basement prices.Man,
Choices choices choices. I've only got 3 weeks in Colombia, really wish I had more now. Oh well. I will be flying into Bogota so the first thing I will do is head to SF to checkout the street talent. I will probably stay 3 night and pull girls to bring back to my place. If the street talents are decent and I get good service I will stay a couple more nights. If not, I will head to Cucuta. Same plan in Cucuta as in Bogota. May stay a week or more in Cucuta if I like it. When its time to leave Cucuta, I may have to checkout Medellin, especially if Bogota turns out bad.

I used to go to the Mansion from time to time years ago. It had been a long time since I was there last but I went to the 4th of July party with a friend and was surprised at how much the scene had changed or maybe it's that I have changed.
When I first went to the Mansion years ago there were mostly 6's and 7's with a few 8's. Now there are mostly 5's and 6's and I only saw one 7 in the bunch. There are more women overall but the quality is down.
I talked to an old timer (that seemed to be a regular) while I was there and he told me that prices had gone up to 200 mill to 250 mill for short time. I was stunned. Quality down and prices were up that sucks.
But I found out later prices were the same it was just that the quality was down. Now I'm not going to argue that some guys do get charged at the higher rate but I was qouted 150 mill short time and 300 for TLN same as when I was there 5 years ago.
Didn't pull the same night I was there but got the whatsapp of a chick called Dulce and she called me the next day and asked if she could stop by. I asked her how much and she said 200 mill and I said "no" . She was the only chick I met at the Mansion that I liked but she called me I didn't call her. Jajaja.
She quickly dropped the price down to 150 mill and I said OK.
Couple of pics of the chick and this is about as good as it gets based on my last time at the mansion.

It was an interesting experience. He scored two (morning and evening) and I scored none, that is what fluent Spanish and a nice personality can do. Both girls have pretty face and nice body. I like both girls, especially the second one who is a spinner. PN told me to take her but I did not. It is an interesting day.Time to learn some basic Spanish before one goes to Colombia.

I know in some Countries, I believe in the Philippines and Thailand you can get a better exchange rate with $ 100 USD notes at some exchange places than ATM's, but these were not Casinos.
If the exchange rates for USD at the Casinos in Medellin are better than ATM's here, I'm going to start exchanging my money at the Casinos, as much as I can, without playing before I get kicked out!
