or gogo bars in SE Asia. Weird that it's legal here but there are no venues to meet regular girls not working for casas or strip clubs.Scratching my head. Photo Prepagos is a tool I really never thought of using. I wonder if we could get some input from other men who have used it?
We have plenty of posts concerning FB, and Tinder, and Colombia Cupid, but not much on Photo Prepagos.
Thanks in advance.I've used them before, several times. They are a fine service but I also think it depends on the time of mongerer you are. For me being told this much for an HR is a buzz kill. So whether its a fb girl or a regular non pro I meet in the streets I prefer a more natural and organic time together. The whole premise of my argument is base on clubbing in places such as Gusto. In Gusto, it is hassle free (relatively) and time efficient to find the right girl if I'm willing to pay 200 dollars. I'm perfectly aware of other day-time options such as casas and massage parlors, and I had about 10 FB girls on my weekly rotation before I left Medellin a few weeks ago (I typically pay fb girls 150-300 k pesos).
In terms of service, I only had one casa girl refused BBBJ and DFK, and I easily been with 50+ girls in Medellin. I can either attribute my success to my irresistible charm or the fact that I'm willing to pay more. I wish it is the former but in my heart I knew it is the latter.

But I have found hotter ones there then the Vera Cruz strip but only sometimes. Basically the girls are on the NW & NE corners of Carr 54 and Ave De Greiff (calle 53) and about half way down the block to the north on both sides of Carr 54. I call it the Raudal block since most the girls are on the corner below the "Raudal and. 3" sign on the building. And since it's only 2 blocks from Vera Cruz I always walk thru both.

I guess, in the end, New Life is always a 10 minute walk away.Avenida Cundimarca aka Carr 53 between Calle 51 and Calle 52 is the main Vera Cruz strip with girls both sides of the road and in the bars, other around the corners both sides of the church, the trannies seem to hang out in front to the left of the church, the ones you really need to card seem to hang on the SE corner of Carr 53 and Calle 52, more women at the west edge of plaza Botero.

I guess, in the end, New Life is always a 10 minute walk away.Start at Botero Plaza, in front of the Museum, facing the Museum. Turn left. Conejitas should now be behind you. Walk. Throughout the Plaza you should see the Venezuelans, mostly hanging around in groups of 2 or 3.
Once you reach the old white church, it will be on your right, turn right. That's Iglesia Veracruz. There's a pedestrian alley along the south side of the church. Starting at the wall in front of the southeast corner of the church you'll spot working girls. Some will be trannies. Walk down the alley to the next street. At the corner there will be a casino on your left and a bakery on your right. This is the beginning of the Veracruz block.
Just south of the casino there's a stairwell that often has several working girls in it. There's nothing else in that direction. If you cross the street, just past the corner there will sometimes be girls on either side, but I've never seen any who were at all attractive to me. Turn right. Walk north. There will be girls on both sides of the street. On the east side, the girls end at the south end of the museum. On rare occasions I've seen a couple of girls behind the museum. If you're at the Raudal corner, turn around. Head East 1 block and turn left. On the left side you'll see Taberna Hilton, another never reviewed strip club. Bars will be on both sides of the street for 1 block. At the corner, on the right, is a small plaza area. There's a diagonal walking street leading south from the plaza, with produce stands down the middle. There are several more bars on the south side. The next street to the east also has several bars and 1 more never mentioned strip club.

And based on your take of the area you walked around, you "personally", didn't miss anything intriguing, whereas others like myself find the place intriguing.

I finally made it to La Isla, last night, a Thursday. My initial plan was to maybe hit Bendito Seas for Ladies Night / Open Bar, and then make my way up the hill after I had a few drinks. Well, I got stuck in Ay Wey Bar for awhile because of the rain. I also read a review posted by an ISG member that said go around 10-11 p on Thursday. So, I did.

300 k 40-45 mins.
22 k Club Colombia.
The girls don't seem to care much if you paid attention to their dance, let alone if you were even there, yet. So, I'd say have a stack of 2 k bills in your pocket, ready to hand out. It can be irritating, but it's not worth the effort to haggle over 75 cents. The girls are somewhat pushy for drinks, as well, but maybe it depends on the girl. The moms tend to be more of the hustlers, when it comes to that. I bought some drinks for a couple girls from Bello, but eventually got tired of the sales pitch. I ended up going with a couple girls that were bubbly and sucking each other's nipples to inspire me. As usual, another threesome that was over-promised and under-delivered, as far as the girl-to-girl performance is concerned. These two definitely were not the best looking girls in the place, but they had a chemistry together that I thought might be fun. One was the saleswoman, the other was the quiet freak. It was ok, but for the price, certainly not worth it. The first girl by the bar said 800 k for take-out. I told her that was ridiculous, and I could get 4-5 girls in Lleras at that price. She shit-talked Lleras girls, which was sort of comical.
By the end of the night, it was almost 900 k for Uber, entry, drinks, and 3 some. Room was ok, probably not the best in town, but definitely not the worst. I forget my experience at Fase II, years ago, so I can't really comment as to which is better, but I think La Isla is a little bigger and maybe feels cleaner / classier in the bar / stage / lounge areas. I think at 300 k, many guys willing to spend the extra amount would be happy. There was certainly a variety, but that stuck out, to me.

I wanted to know what El Centro was really like. I walked the streets, hit some of the casas, went into the shopping malls, although mall might be the wrong word. I even spent 2 nights at the Mansion, just to learn about it. If I remember correctly, I even hit a couple of casas on Christmas day. Weak lineups, but a few were open.
I'm also a voyeur. Once I got over my fear of El Centro, it became my go-to place to unwind. I covered just about every street from Oriental down to 3 blocks west of Raudal and between San Antonio and Prado metro stations. I hit the girl zones 3 or 4 times a day, just enjoying the eye candy.
As for directions, before smart phones and Google maps I had to call for directions several times a week, all over the US. Alabama directions were always like:

At that light you go straight to the next light. There used to be a house there with a big white dog. That dog barked at everyone. Wow very impressive man!! Just like I remembered it. Keep in mind guys this whole area is very sketchy watch your pockets and dress down, no valuables. The 2 strip clubs you're talking about actually has been mentioned. Just in many thread past. Those strip clubs are hit or miss. But I'm sure with the influx of the Venies, competition should be in our favor. All the other bars are hostess bars. Girl get payed to drink and dance with you. If you have good game and speak Spanish you will do very well in these bars. I have had very good luck there. Just get there number and setup a date. Keep in mind guys that all theses bars 3 or 4 years ago were all Colombianas. Now almost all the hostess bars are Venies. The makings of a lot of resentment and competition.

Friday night after having dinner in Provenza I decided check out the talent Parque Lleras. I arrived around 10 PM and took a few laps around and within the Park. They all light up like a Christmas tree on December 25, all of them do, all beds / sheets / rugs / towels are completely stained with jizz and piss, disgusting.

Yes, I saw a news feature on American television something like 20 years ago about black inspection of hotel rooms. The reporter did it in various classes of hotels and they all lit up. So that is the deal. I like to keep my socks on a lot.

Yesterday, I went on a mission to check out Veracruz / Botero (again) and find Raudal. Well, I went on my moto, so that I could take a gander without being the idiot gringo on his phone, looking at JjBee62's directions. WOW. Cruising through ZombieLand is surreal. Just north of Raudal and east of there to El Hueco (north of Conejitas) is rough. Half-living species all whacked-out on shoe glue, paint, and whatever else they can afford. Several younger males with visible injuries / wounds, etc. Anyhow, all the one-way streets made it a little difficult, so I cruised past Raudal once on my moto, and another on foot. Nothing worth stopping for, at the time (Friday mid-afternoon). Veracruz was also disappointing, as usual, for me. There was one young Paisa from Robledo that would have been The One, if I decided to partake. I almost did, just to try it, but for as cute as her face was, I couldn't. Beautiful eyes, pierced nose / lip, skinny, but unshaved legs, ghetto tattoos, and quoted 40 k. I was drawn to her, but if she was working at New Life, I'd probably choose some one else, and if she was at any other more expensive club / location, I'd definitely not pick her. I popped into Conejitas, which was surprisingly slow for a Friday; maybe because it was about 4 p, and the blue collar workers weren't clocked-out, yet. Then, I picked up my freshly-washed moto, and went to New Life. There was a really sexy girl named Daniella, who got swooped right before I could utter her name. I actually had a feeling this would happen, as there were maybe 7-8 guys in the waiting area. The mamasan lady disappeared, and I lost out. Second choice was easy. Isabella (I think). I actually flagged down the mamasan, at this point, because it would have been a significant drop-off to #3. 20 yo, lighter hair, good body, tattoos, and she was a good time. 60 k with a beer.
I then went to Parque Sabaneta to see the Christmas Lights, and it was absolutely packed. My Uber took the side streets the whole way, which took forever. I don't understand why he wouldn't use the highway (anyone?). It was around 830 p, so I don't think the license plate driving restriction thing would be in affect. I had a couple beers, snapped some pics, and then got a cab to Envigado. I wanted to try Lucio Carbon y Vino, but the kitchen was closed. Another place said the same, so my buddy and I just came back to Lleras. 37 Park was buzzing, but a little too gringo touristy for me. Meal was decent, and then we posted up at Beer Store for a couple. The previously-mentioned petite blonde made an appearance, in Lleras. She was walking around with another good-looking girl. I went with my buddy to The Deck, which wasn't bad. Kind of cool decor and vibe. I was getting tired, as was the Petite Blonde, who had forced my Colombian buddy to take her number, let her know when I want to go home, and make sure I didn't take anyone else. So, we met her and headed back to my apartment. Another free TLN. She's been on the rag for like 10 days. It just shows up while we're fucking. As far as the "half living species" you noticed, well they typically use glue or what's called Pegamente here and it has a solvents in it, and they are referred to as "Sacaleros" as they put the glue in a bag and inhale the fumes. Approximately three years ago there used to be what's known as "Sacalero Row" on the walkway beside the Museum where all the working Sacalero girls would hang out like a bunch of Groupies. There were actually some pretty hot ones back then, but all typically skinny with a stench to them and most of the the time in a Zombie Trance, exactly as you described them.

Saturday night at 7:30 PM I was with one of my regulars in Poblado. We were walking on the sidewalk along Carrea 46, about a block and a half away from the Poblado EXITO. We got caught in an unexpected downpour, and it was raining very hard as we were headed to Calle 10. While we were walking I had an umbrella to cover us and we had are heads down trying to figure out how not to step in the deeper puddles while we were walking. The street was deserted as there was nobody else out because of the heavy rainfall, and all of sudden a motorcycle pulls up with two guys on it, one guy gets off, put's a gun to my Chicas head, and say's give me your handbag or I will kill you. The guy takes the handbag, hops back on the Motorcycle, and they take off. This all happened in less than ten seconds and there wasn't much I could do about it. We were sitting ducks on a deserted street during a heavy downpour, and were unaware of our surroundings as we were walking with are heads down trying to figure out where to step. I was surprised that the thief didn't ask me to empty my pockets which I asked my Chica about, and she said for some reason women with bags seem to be targeted versus the men. I suspect that's because the thieves assume that a woman may not put up a fight, versus a man might. Regardless, if any one has a gun, I'm not going to put up a fight. So my Chica got her bag stolen, she had 40 Mil on her, a cheap cell phone, and some clothes in her bag, and her Cedula as well taken.
Lessons learned, if I had been asked to empty my pockets, I would of been totally hosed as I had my USA I phone with me, versus my Colombian burner phone. As far as money in my wallet, well a couple of hundred mil which means nothing to me versus losing my USA cell phone. So not only do we have to worry about the Chicas ripping us off, here's just something else to be concerned about. It's not safe anywhere in Medellin. Carry as little as possible with you, and always be aware of your surroundings, even when it's raining. There's some very cleaver thieves here, and they know what they are doing.

These thugs always target the lamb and weakest among the bunch, that's why they always rip off the chicas. They are not stupid and will almost never mess with a big tall guy like me, why? Because there is always weak / small / frail guys or a woman that are easy targets.
I can tell you all with certainty that just in the past 2 or 3 months I have had 3 friends (all Colombians living in Medellin) that I know personally get held up. But again we are close to x-mass and holidays.

My theory is, that since there were two of us, that it was easier for the ratero to just take my Chicas bag and run, versus telling me to fumble around and empty my pockets. My Chica told me that way more women get ripped off than men here. So I suspect as to what happened to me, they may have just decided to get the bag, versus having a potential confrontation with a male. Additionally, I am not an obvious "gringo" looks wise as I don't have blond hair and blue eyes, and have been told by Colombians that I can pass as a Colombian, at least with with my mouth shut. So perhaps in this situation, if it had been an obvious gringo, the Ratero might of said empty your pockets, etc. As one might assume a gringo may have more things of value on them. I really don't know as it happened so quick.

Not only the ripoffs by thugs. But also murders { tourists } occur there more than any other part of the city. Stories like this is why you should never walk on any deserted street, it doesn't matter if it's in Poblado, Centro or anywhere else. The silver lining to this story is that nobody was injured & it seems that most of the stick up kids are cowards who only prey on the weak so we men will generally be less of a target, I feel bad for the Colombian women though.

I wonder if Laureles is much safer or not. I often carry everything around in a slash proof, zipper locking pacsafe shoulder bag. I'm 6' tall, with light hair, blue eyes and I do not blend down here. I have long thought pick pockets are the greatest danger. Guess I got to rethink that. I have taken to leaving my ATM debit card in the room and only taking it out when I got to do an ATM run.
I have to say that on my next trip I might stay in Laureles because a person can save some serious money by doing so, but that being said, if money was not an object than it still depends on other factors. Which means of mongering are you going to be most likely to partake in? I primarily used FB and some tender and picked up some SWs in Parque LLeras. Energy was perfect for me. The building has good security which I respect not so much for my safety but for keeping me out of trouble if you know what I mean. For the square footage though you can probably find something for half the price in Laureles. But it definitely will not have the views that you get from the roof pool area of Energy,If you stayed in Laureles would you still go to Lleras Park and pick up SW and bring them back to your spot? (In Laureles) Is that doable, or can you find a short time spot right there near the park? I'm gathering intel, since I'm new to the Medellin Forum. I will go back about 6 to 12 months and catch up on the forum. I'm staying in the Laureles area. I'll be there almost a month late Jan until Feb. I also intend to visit Cartegena while I'm in Colombia. I hear it's a short flight from Medellin.

You'll almost never hear of a gringo being killed in Paris or Manrique, because gringos don't go there. That doesn't mean those are safe places to be walking around at night. In case someone is confused, Paris is a barrio south and west of Bello. Ask your favorite chica about it sometime.
Generally speaking Poblado is safer than most of Medellin. The people with money live in Poblado. Too much crime in Poblado is bad for business. That doesn't mean you're safe. Personal safety is less about location and more about behavior.
People get a false sense of security in Poblado and let their guard down.

The street was deserted as there was nobody else out because of the heavy rainfall, and all of sudden a motorcycle pulls up with two guys on it, one guy gets off, put's a gun to my Chicas head, and say's give me your handbag or I will kill you. The guy takes the handbag, hops back on the Motorcycle, and they take off. For those who are not familiar with Medellin, that area is not near Parque Lleras. It is in Patio Bonito. There have been reports in the past (none recently that I have seen) warning about possible dangers there. For anyone staying in that area, take a taxi, especially if you are walking with a chica. In a taxi you don't need to be concerned about the rain, and you will be relatively safe. If you insist on walking, tell the chica to leave her bag in the hotel or apartment.

Agree on the deserted streets, even in nice neighborhoods like Poblado. If you have to walk on them, keep your head on a swivel and be ready to run. Or just take a taxi / uber.
Friday night after having dinner in Provenza I decided check out the talent Parque Lleras. I arrived around 10 PM and took a few laps around and within the Park. I saw at least two dozen girls working, they were either sitting alone, in pairs, walking, etc. And there were some very pretty ones out. I got approached by three girls, chit chatted with them, and told one of them in Spanish that I wasn't horny to get her to go away. Another one asked me where I was going and I said to my apartment and she asked me if she could come over, but I told her no. I didn't ask any of the girls how much they wanted as I wasn't interested, and found it refreshing compared to "ground zero" in El Centro as the majority of the girls were dressed very nice versus in rags. It's not so easy to find taxis when it's raining hard. In Surfer's case, he mentioned he and the chica got caught in a sudden downpour, something that is not rare in Medellin, and the street became deserted suddenly. The scumbag bandits had the advantage of surprise. They likely realized they had the drop on the couple and could get close without being seen.

Saturday night at 7:30 PM I was with one of my regulars in Poblado....It's not safe anywhere in Medellin. Carry as little as possible with you, and always be aware of your surroundings, even when it's raining. There's some very cleaver thieves here, and they know what they are doing.Thanks for this post. Although I just asked "what if I bring a friend as a guest", he understood immediately, "Bringing a girl up is 130,000, in USD it's about $40." LOL.
Thus, I believe it's a girl friendly hotel, but $40 per visit on top of $100/ night Room Rate. Hummm. I'm not sure if worth it. Any thoughts?

If you stayed in Laureles would you still go to Lleras Park and pick up SW and bring them back to your spot? (In Laureles) Is that doable, or can you find a short time spot right there near the park? I'm gathering intel, since I'm new to the Medellin Forum. I will go back about 6 to 12 months and catch up on the forum. I'm staying in the Laureles area. I'll be there almost a month late Jan until Feb. I also intend to visit Cartegena while I'm in Colombia. I hear it's a short flight from Medellin.
Its possible but Lleras Park is not what I would have in mind, I actually only picked up there one night (three chicas in one night) Taxi from Lleras to Laureles is a good 30 minutes so she would have to be the last chica of the day. Staying in Laureles I was thinking more about using FB chicas, and I am also exploring options in Centro for checking out SWs there for part of my trip but I would definitely not be bringing those chicas to Laureles, so I am also exploring hotels in that area. When I picked up three chicas in one night in Lleras I was ten minutes from there by taxi. It is possible I might split my time between Laureles and Centro next trip but I am not focused on Mongering in Lleras Park if I do. My thinking is that if it is later in the night or very early in the night and you offer to pay the chicas taxi home or back to Lleras and she is the only chica you plan to hit that night, it is doable, just not super convenient. Never used a short time hotel but I am thinking that I have heard there are some in Poblado area (which is where Lleras is).
I am not familiar with Laureles, so you should research the forum concerning if there are any strip clubs or casas in that area, at a minimum you could hit these places and get numbers from chicas that you like. Many forum members like Laureles so they are making it work for them.
Yes the flight between Cartagena and Medellin is short like one hour fifteen minutes, depending on your luggage situation and how far in advance you book, you can conceivably find a round trip ticket for under $100 flying on a Colombian Airline.
A friend of mine stayed at Four Points Sheraton. He says that the hotel is chica friendly. They need to leave their ID at the front desk. He has told status with the hotel chain, not sure if that makes difference or not. Hope this helps.

Thank you!Maybe think about finding an apartment, any Hotel that charges $ 40 per visit isn't really girl friendly, and the Hotel makes a ton of money off of this, unless the employees or managers get this money which may be the case somehow. And the Hotel said there would be a fee of $ 40, even if you booked the room for two people on their website? Another thing you should consider doing wherever you land up, is always book a room for two people, than at least if it isn't clear about their policy, you have booked a room for two and would have to register the guest in and have an argument to avoid the guest fee, but that might be an issue bringing in multiple girls. Again, your best bet is to find an apartment, but security, etc. Can be issue depending on which building, and their policies. I don't know if this has helped much but hopefully things will work out for you and the Hotel section should provide you with a list of girl friendly places.

I went to meet my friend at hotel to go out together. I was in the lobby trying to call him. The lobby guys in the meantime asked me who I was there for. I gave details, they checked my ID, but didn't keep it, and called him up to check it was OK to send me up. I went to the room. He and a girl were there. He introduced me to the girl. He said she was with him since last night. We left the room together and went to the attached mall where he got money for the girl from the ATM. We returned to the hotel lobby, where the girl picked up her ID. She took a cab and left. After that I specifically asked my buddy if he had to pay any extra fees to the hotel. He said no he didn't pay anything extra, and he was having one or two girls visit him or overnight with him everyday. They only had to leave ID at front desk. He said he stays at the same hotel Everytime and they let the girls in, and don't charge a fee. He has gold or higher status and always gets upgraded to a suite. He is also a generous tipper. I saw him tip the hotel manager or similar, 100 USD, so that may have something to do with it, but he tipper at checkout. So maybe they remembered him from last time. That's all I know about it. I have never tried it, I don't know what pull he has.

So, my second to last night in MDE (Saturday), I met a bloke and ended up going to Gustos. He had fallen in love with some girl that was working there, that night. Anyway, I ran into the real estate girl from early in my trip. Tall, beautiful face, dark straight hair, lighter eyes, has a kid, speaks a bit of English. She seemed to be helping out a group of her friends with guys, that night. She was drained and annoyed. She ends up asking me if we can leave, gratis. So, yes, I got wheeled out of Gustos. Probably the crowning achievement of my entire life. She stayed the night, GFE, once that night & once in the morning. I can't recall her working name.
Now, to get to the Title of this post, bad news for those that have PM'd me about the "Petite Blonde" . She is back in her hometown and currently retired from the game. On that same night, she ended up at a love motel with a gringo. This guy, loosely described as "bearded, gap-teeth, shorts, aggressive, drunk" roughed up the PB, and stole her cell phone. Maybe a case of two sides to every story, but she had visible bruises on her forearm and thigh. Her story goes, she didn't want to stay all night with him, so he took her phone and tried to prevent her from leaving. When the police arrived, they didn't attempt to help her, she never got her phone, and the motel reception girl tried to help to no avail. PB was really broken up, and her mom summoned her home. I spent the next evening with her. I took her out for dinner on my last night, she stayed over, helped me pack, and then had a sweet moment where my cleaning lady was having a heart-to-heart with her for awhile in the morning. Probably best for her, but it's unfortunate the decision was almost made for her, by one idiot. She's MAYBE 100 lbs, and to see her wincing every time I accidentally touched her arm, was pretty sad. She never asked for anything from me, so I have no reason to not believe her story.
All-in-all I had another amazing trip to MDE, and over 32 days, fell more and more in love with the idea of possibly relocating to the City of Eternal Spring.

I saw some pretty shady looking characters amongst mongers in my last trip and that explained to me why some of these chicas take a while to open up. Its not all are your stereotype older 60's heavier set men. In many ways those are the better clients for these Chicas as they are seldom violent and easy to be with and the sex is not as physically demanding.
They of course love the younger clean cut ones just looking for poon even a little on the hard side is fine, but its the violent and predatorial types, that can't get it up without actually hurting them and inflicting real harm and don't seem to know or care about the limits and those kind do exist. I signed up at Body Tech Gym, in case anyone is looking for a nice gym. Way too expensive. It was 80.00 USD for a month's membership and they didn't do shorter memberships. The gym itself is very nice though.

Medellin has a lot of very good burger places that in my opinion are much better than Mcdonalds, Firehouse and Home Burgers come to mind. There is an app called Rappi that is Colombia's version of Uber Eats, Postmates, Doordash, etc. The only problem is that it is in Spanish so you my need to use Google Translator, I am not proficient in Spanish and I made it work. Its way cheap compared to say Uber Eats though and you then have a world of food at your fingertips. You will see Rappi delivery guys everywhere if you keep your eyes open.

We are looking at where is the best places to stay, hang out and where the girls are hot, friendly and cheap. Any advice would be great. The real issue is going to be understanding all the terms used for food. And Google translator may fumble on some of them. But for simple stuff like Pasta it's pretty straight forward and the typical delivery fee is about $ 1 USD, and it's actually faster at times than going out someplace to eat. However, ordering items like french fries and other things that are best eaten right away, and or pizzas are not good choices. Probably the best items are Pasta dishes as I have had pretty good luck with those types of dishes. Typically by the time I order food via Rappi, it's at my doorstep 45 minutes later. A good choice when you don't want to go out, and as far as Burgers, there are tons of places with good burgers besides McDonalds as you mentioned.

I know people who paid 60 dollars to bring girls back in their first week, once they become more informed, they found better arrangements. Try Airbnb, energy living is a pretty good place, but for me, the location is a little off, there is nothing around it (within walking distance). When you book AirBnb, make sure you look thoroughly through the house rules. You want to make sure they allow guests and there is no explicit language against sex tourism. Ideally you want a place that has a private entrance in a local neighborhood, where you can easily go downstairs to get food and booze. You can ask the Airbnb host about the entrance arrangement. Places like energy living is OK, what I don't like about it is the 24/7 door man, I normally bring back 2 to 3 girls a day and I do one to two threesome a week. It is awkward for a dude in his thirties to bring back a pair 18 year-old in the morning and another pair in the night. I'm pretty sure you can change the language setting on uber eats. Check that, I haven't actually tried the language setting but I think I remember seeing the option.
Medellin has a lot of very good burger places that in my opinion are much better than Mcdonalds, Firehouse and Home Burgers come to mind. There is an app called Rappi that is Colombia's version of Uber Eats, Postmates, Doordash, etc. The only problem is that it is in Spanish so you my need to use Google Translator, I am not proficient in Spanish and I made it work. Its way cheap compared to say Uber Eats though and you then have a world of food at your fingertips. You will see Rappi delivery guys everywhere if you keep your eyes open.

Actually there are portions of the Rappi App that are in English so using the App with no Spanish skills is possible. The real issue is going to be understanding all the terms used for food. And Google translator may fumble on some of them. However, ordering items like french fries and other things that are best eaten right away, and or pizzas are not good choices. I've been reading for a bit and planning a trip to Medellin 1/12-1/20 ish. I want to try to do as much as I can while I'm here and from what I've read, I'm thinking I should split my stay in half at the mansion and half at an airBnB (the 2 I've heard are Energy Living and Blux, I'm hoping to bring multiple girls back without an issue during the day. What can anyone tell me about Sabaneta? Seems like a very mellow and more old time Colombia. I guess what matters most to me is: how close to Medellin and is there Metro connection, getting older so health care availability is important, still like to enjoy the chicas so any mongering or better yet possibilities to meet regular girls / women? Saturday Night 12/21/19: Spent most of the night in Parque Lleras. Drank at Patrick's Pub to start the night out. Then walked Parque Lleras for a bit. Not only does the glue have a stench to it, but the hard core Sacaleros have a stench to them as well from sniffing the shit all day. One Sunday I headed over to park Periodista to hang out. I had been there many times both day and night and have drank and watched smokers etc. Well this particular night it had few people. I bought a large Aguela Light and started drinking by one of the flower boxes next to the street when a policeman walked up to me and told me that I was in a park and there are laws against drinking in a park. My mind flashed on all the times I had been there and what goes on and thought well this may be a shakedown. I apologized and told him that I didn't know about the law and then asked if it was OK to pour it in the flower box. Hi everyone,
I just wanted to thank you guys quickly for helping me plan my upcoming trip. I'll be doing quite a bit of exploring during my trip so I should be able to have a lot to report back. I'm planning on staying at the mansion, a couple nights at an Airbnb, a couple nights at energy living and a couple nights at hotel Madeira. I fall into roughly the same category as you. Your chance of picking up a regular girl is pretty good, but they are not going to be nearly as young and hot as the working girls. I would recommend learn a few pick up lines, don't get too drunk and have a set of lines ready for google translate. It is fun to play the pick up game a bit, but if the normal girls are not up to your standard or luck is running against, you can always go to Gusto or Paradise or el Faisan. 1) What are the up to date hrly hotels with hot water in centro? I understand hotel premier plaza (16 k), Calle real (22 k), and hotel zona rosa (13 k) are the main ones. (and possibly Ensensonte (12 k) along with these.).
I understand these are hourly rates, Do they have daily rates as well, say if I wanted to set up camp there? I'm looking to bring the SW back for 2 leches, say spend an hour and half with each one for GFE, shower and shit. I figure 50-60 k will do the trick.
2) how much is a good tip for the front desk / door guys? 5 k? 10 k? Considering I'm going to be spending all of my 8 days hanging out in centro though I'm staying near estadio, I want to make sure I get good treatment from the staff. I'm fluent in Spanish.

One Sunday I headed over to park Periodista to hang out. I had been there many times both day and night and have drank and watched smokers etc. Well this particular night it had few people. I bought a large Aguela Light and started drinking by one of the flower boxes next to the street when a policeman walked up to me and told me that I was in a park and there are laws against drinking in a park. My mind flashed on all the times I had been there and what goes on and thought well this may be a shakedown. I apologized and told him that I didn't know about the law and then asked if it was OK to pour it in the flower box. He gave e me a look like he couldn't believe my question and said no seor please finish it, just don't buy another. He thought it was crazy to waste a beer. Better to let me break the law than waste a beer. No shakedown, no hassle. Maybe I was lucky but a story I've told many times even to cops in USA who would never be as nice.That's been my exp. With Colombian cops as well, they are mostly trying to make sure law and order are uokept than anything else. But I am not naive and suspect they want to extract $$ if able, but not nearly as horrible as Mexican Cops in my experience.

I'm planning on staying at the mansion, a couple nights at an Airbnb, a couple nights at energy living and a couple nights at hotel Madeira. Yes, I to have to admit that I have done a few Zombies (sacaleros) as well. Not only does the glue have a stench to it, but the hard core Sacaleros have a stench to them as well from sniffing the shit all day. Similar stench (Nicotine) that oozes from the pores of a hard core smoker, but way worse and disgusting. The lowest price I know at places where you can have sex on site cost about 4 or 5 mils for local beer. Strip clubs cost just a little more. The lowest price I have seen is 2 beers for 5 mils in a local bar.

You should just go talk to the front desk to work out a deal since you are fluent in Spanish. Sometimes you can just give a tip, they will let you stay longer.

The rates you posted for short time are correct but are really good for a couple of hours, versus one hour. At the Calle Real you will get three hours for 22 K or it's 60 K for all night. At the Zona Rosa they are not licensed to accept foreigners overnight so it's not an option. I don't know what the overnight rate is at Premium Plaza but probably around 60 K a night as well. As far as multiple guests if your renting by the day, you need to confirm that there is no extra charge for bringing in more than one girl a day. Your best option for this will probably be the Premium Plaza Hotel. Get a room on an upper floor in the middle of the building if your staying at Premium Plaza overnight. Make sure you have a legible color copy of your Passport along with a photocopy of your date of entry into the Country, you will need this for renting overnight. And if your going to be doing an overnight with a Chica, they will need a copy of their Cedula or other ID. They are very strict about this for someone staying overnight so make sure they have ID which may be an issue with some of the girls, I know from first hand experience about this, so I am giving you a heads up. Short time won't be an issue, and most places won't ask to see anybody's ID, as long as they look old enough.
In regards to tipping. A 10 K tip is huge, you can get girls for as low as 20 K. I use both the Premium Plaza and Zona Rosa a lot and tip anywhere from 1 to 2 K to the reception girls for short time use. It may sound cheap, but trust me it's not. Just the idea of someone getting a tip is almost unheard of in these hotels and when I arrive they give me an extra towel and soap. I guess I am a preferred guest at these establishments. There are lots of 5 K Hotels on the backside of the Church, so 5 K as a tip is way too much as well, unless your staying overnight, etc. And they are changing towels for you etc. Then it's warranted.

I almost always spend more money on drinks than on girls. The most I have ever spent was 700 dollars on drinks in one night at Gusto, I bought multiple bottles of whiskey and was buying rounds left and right. I had a great time, but it did hurt my wallet a little bit (no regrets though, I will do it again in a heart beat). If you want a VIP style party; drink, dance and play with a group of super hot chicas all night, Gusto is the place to go. Compare to Europe, Vegas, NYC and San Francisco, Gusto is extremely affordable. I would have easily dropped 5000+ dollars (which is way above my budget) had I partied elsewhere. Paradise and la isla are another overpriced places where you can easily spend hundreds of dollars on drinks. Other than those three places, as far as I know, all other bars and clubs in Medellin are very affordable. Drinks cost about 1/3 to 1/5 the price of gusto and paradise.

From my experience the girls there know nothing about massage.

I use my regular Facebook page. I don't recommend this for most people, but I have a couple of reasons why it works for me.

As an example, I visited Santa Marta earlier this year. I booked a room at the Marriot, which had an Olympic pool, ocean views, AC, Netflix, etc. In a relatively safe neighborhood, and in addition to this, I rented a room with AC adjacent to the street scenes there for 60,000 COP a night for my entire stay. I made it clear with the front desk what I would be doing, ie. Bringing in random girls to dump loads in, and no problem, they were just happy to rent the room. And I had no intention of bringing any of the girls I pulled off the street to the Marriot.
So as an example, a guy could stay say in Laureles or Poblado in a nice neighborhood, with lots of nice places to eat around, kind of like a little "safer haven", and I say that lightly, given being held up at gunpoint recently in Poblado, and besides this place, have a room at ground zero always available. Makes perfect sense to have two places if the money is not an issue and fits how you like to roll. For those not into El Centro though, just ignore this post and head directly to one of the Hotels you mentioned.

Gusto's drink price is approaching the price of a dive bar in San Francisco. I almost always spend more money on drinks than on girls. The most I have ever spent was 700 dollars on drinks in one night at Gusto, I bought multiple bottles of whiskey and was buying rounds left and right. I had a great time, but it did hurt my wallet a little bit (no regrets though, I will do it again in a heart beat). If you want a VIP style party; drink, dance and play with a group of super hot chicas all night, Gusto is the place to go. In answer your questions. The rates you posted for short time are correct but are really good for a couple of hours, versus one hour. At the Calle Real you will get three hours for 22 K or it's 60 K for all night. At the Zona Rosa they are not licensed to accept foreigners overnight so it's not an option. I don't know what the overnight rate is at Premium Plaza but probably around 60 K a night as well. As far as multiple guests if your renting by the day, you need to confirm that there is no extra charge for bringing in more than one girl a day. Your best option for this will probably be the Premium Plaza Hotel. Get a room on an upper floor in the middle of the building if your staying at Premium Plaza overnight. Make sure you have a legible color copy of your Passport along with a photocopy of your date of entry into the Country, you will need this for renting overnight. And if your going to be doing an overnight with a Chica, they will need a copy of their Cedula or other ID. They are very strict about this for someone staying overnight so make sure they have ID which may be an issue with some of the girls, I know from first hand experience about this, so I am giving you a heads up. Short time won't be an issue, and most places won't ask to see anybody's ID, as long as they look old enough.
In regards to tipping. A 10 K tip is huge, you can get girls for as low as 20 K. I use both the Premium Plaza and Zona Rosa a lot and tip anywhere from 1 to 2 K to the reception girls for short time use. It may sound cheap, but trust me it's not. Its not just dealing with putas, twice in the past 10 years I have kicked in the door panel of a taxi who literally aimed his car at me while I waited for him to pass, this costeno gets out of his taxi, he is bajo yes all 5'-6" of him, typical cosento, yelling at me until he walks up to me well he will think twice about showing curtesy to another gringo waited at the curb for him to pass. I suspect what happened to you is that they just charged more than the normal price. This could of been initiated in one of two ways, either the Clerk just quoted you a higher price, or the Chica said something to Clerk resulting in a higher price which she shared with the Clerk. Lots of these girls know the Clerks, so it would be very easy for them to pull this off and you would be "clueless" if your experience base for the area was limited.
I had a similar experience in Athens of all places this Summer. I pulled a SW and went to a short time Hotel and was told 10 Euros and being "clueless" just paid it. The next day I pulled another SW and went back to the same Hotel, and there was a different Clerk, and was told the price was 5 Euros.
So this is just my supposition as to what happened to you as it's happened to me. And darn, that extra 3 K you paid has got to be rough, maybe just stick with the 5 K Hotels as the condom is included and there will be no doubt your paying the going rate.

The 5 K Hotels about thirty minutes, the 10 K Hotels about an hour, and the Hotels from between 13 and 16 K are an hour and a half, and the 22 K Hotel three hours.Thank you for posting this, it was a mystery to me how the more expensive ones could cost so much as proportion of what the locals pay for a cita. But now it makes sense if it's to do with longer citas.
I think I have also seen advertised that some of them have 6 hours for the price of 3 hours at quiet times.
