Usually I avoid payment before service when dealing with street chicas and stick to post-service payment. Is this difficult to do in Mayorista?
And to follow up with a word of caution. When going to Mayorista make sure you are somewhat alert and not too intoxicated. Many of these girls will go after any items you have in your pants. Including money, cell phone, camera etc. So make sure pants are in view at all times and never go into the bathroom w/o taking them with you. Especially be cautious if you are taking two girls into a room. I've spoken to a few guys that have been ripped off there.
A brief rundown on La Mayorista as it took me 4 weeks to go there, and I really missed out.
If you are in MDE and do not know where it is, all the Taxi drivers I have ridden with seem to know it well. "La Mayorista Por favor" should do it. From the back side of Poblado it is about 8k pesos to get there.
You can also take the Metro to Ayura Station (maps are on the walls of the train) and head West across the river. At the bottom of the stairs head west again on a main road and 10 minutes walking will get you there. This is certainly an option during the day, and at night I did not feel any trepidation either. Metro is 1550 pesos each way and the last train is at 10: 45 at night.
Mayorista is only about a 1/4 mile long on one side of the street. It is a rather raucus, Colombian strip of bars and small eateries that caters to a perdominantly Colombian male clientel. Although it seems rough and a touch out of control by US standards, I have yet to see any trouble there, and enjoy the rather seedy aspect of it immensely.
I took an informal census there Thursday night at about 10: 30 and counted 85 women either standing against the wall or sitting just inside one of the bars. Now I am certain this under represents the working population by 30 or more girls. I did not look inside the bars or make assumtions as to how many were doing the wild humpty-monkey at the time of my count.
Quality of tthe girls is wildly variable. Honestly 60% of them are 2 baggers (One bag over her head and the other over yours in case hers falls off). But there are 100 or more on patrol there, and finding an acceptable ride is possible almost any night.
I have included photos of 4 of the ladies I have entertained from Mayorista. Three were a lot of fun, Ledis was like screwing a dead Carp. You can't win 'them all I guess.Hey, RP:

Well now I’m back in the states after being treated like former resident of abul grave by the US CBP. Playing 1,000 and one questions with them.
My last night in MDE was quiet and good. got some good dinner and admired my surroundings.
Over all MDE was the best place that I have visited in South America, in totality (so far). Ecuador was ok but very slow, Peru the chicks were doggishly ugly, with some exceptions when coming from MDE to Peru, but they were nice. Brazil has the most strikingly beautiful chicks with the best bodies of all, sex was incredible in Brazil, however they were too cold and too business oriented with few exceptions...Just my $ 0.02.

Maybe YOU should take the bus Malodr mentioned. It will take you right to the Centro. Plenty of possibilities there, but do ask what time the last bus will leave for Rio Negro. BTW, are we talking the village of Rio Negro or the vicinity of the airport? The bus that is mentioned is the bus to and from the airport.

My hotmail has gone mad. It eraised 14 pages of important saved emails with thousands of pictures and now it continues to erase the older emails leaving me with just the most recent. Does anybody out there know how I can stop this or change my settings. I don't know how it happenned. Windows kept asking me to install some new stuff called "Silver Pack" or something, and that's when the nightmare begin. Luckily I had saved some of my most important emails to another email account with netzero.
But I have special emails that I send my guests or guys interested in staying at My place with lots of info. And pics. Í ussually forward them, but I'm afraid as they get older it's going to erase them also and I'm going to have to spend a lot of time re-doing them. Does anybody out there know what I'm talking about? Help.! I'll feel dum if it's something real simple, but I'll suffer the humiliation if I can get the problem fixed. Thanks!

I have always figured the girls I hook up with in the casas "like" me, I can reasonably hold a conversation in Spanish, treat them well, and tip them. Frank Casio!I personally don't know what could be the problem frank but I'll make some educated guesses with my Computer degree. First Off a virus! 2nd someone has hacked your account. 3rd Contact Hotmail and see if its a system wide thing. Unfortunately with the free email accounts you get what you paid for! I personally use yahoo and have sometimes paid for more services. Hopefully some people (like me) that you have emailed with your lovely pictures to have not deleted your hard work and you can recover some of what's lost. You really really need a back up plan man! Look up Carbonite $55 a year to back data online. So there's no excuses. PM me if you need specific help. I really don't think there's much else that can be done.
Hi Frank, yes, this week Hotmail did an "upgrade" of its free E mail service. I too was prompted to install that Silver utility but declined. Thank you for alerting us to the problem.
I'd say you have a long evening ahead of you forwarding your important mail to a different server or else just click on the box to the left of the important mails and select "move to" a "new folder" that you will have created. I think they will be safe there. As for the deleted mails, they should have been in that folder already.

By mistake I posted this on the Manision forum.
I'm at the FLL airport now and I am not a happy camper. This is the 3rd time in a row that my late flight to ACY is delayed.
I also had a problem at the screening area in MDE. I had 2 proteen bars that I always carry on the plane. This one Officer wanted to take them from me. They were store sealed and I just took one of the bars from him and eat half of it in front of him. He looked at me funny then gave me back the other bar.
All in all a good trip in Colombia. The bad part was on a day per day basis I spent way more than any other monger trip I have taken.
As I was lugging my two bags from the Metro to the bus in El Centro, I said to myself after spending money like a drunken sailor, here I am working my butt off up and down the metro steps to save 47K.
Right now my nuts are sore and I guess when after being home for a week or so I will be looking for deals on Spirit (I am a glutton for punishment.)
BTW My 3 day trip to CTG was great. It broke things up a bit. I posted a report on that on the CTG forum

Thanks a lot for the intel. I always saw the New Folder prompt, but never zeroed in on it. I've transferred all of my working emails there making my job easier and reducing the time I spend finding them as they move back with the new emails.
As far as the other emails, they were not lost, just the format changed not showing that I had 14 pages of email, but they were still there. I found out when it gave a tally of all the sent, inbox, junk and deleted emails. It doesn't't show the number of pages now, but it has 2 sets of arrows for going forward or backward. One set will take you to the last or first page automatically and the other one will let you move from page to page, but it no longer gives you the page numbers. That's what threw me off.
Thanks guys for your help, really appreciated. The new system does have a slideshow for your pictures, which is kind of nice. Sometimes a new system can be better in some areas while worst in others. I shouldn't have panicked, but it was scary to think I had lost all that work. Although I had, out of precaution, forwarded most of the important emails to another account. Specially the ones with pictures. I was in the process of emailing them back to my Hotmail account, but now is not necessary, since I never lost them, the!

Frank Casio!It's asking to install MS Silverlight. My computers and all my client's have been receiving the same update message as well. Silverlight is a "non-intrusive" update so it's safe to install. You can read more about it here..

I can not even begin to tell you guys the good times I had in Medellin. I am sad to leave that city. This was my 5th trip to Medellin, and the girls I had this time was just amazing. Damn. Real good time.

There are no flights from curacao to medellin, you must go thru bogota (or perhaps aruba?). DAE goes a couple of times a week and Avianca every day. To save money, tell the Avianca web site that you are in Colombia, you can then change the language to English, when it comes time to pay, do not specify USA for your credit card, specify Other country, then put in your credit card info. With this method I have bought cheap promotional tickets that are normally only sold in Colombia.
Lots of hotels that are safe and reasonably safe, or try a hostel such as the Black Sheep (55k per night with private rm and bath). But since you don't speak Spanish I would suggest staying at Casa Blanca (the mansion) or at My Place (not terribly safe, but you will have others around to guide/protect you).
Most of the hotels in El Poblado are a bit expensive, but other barrios like Laureles are cheaper and still safe. But again, almost no one speaks English.

I think this is the best place I ever been to as a ***** house. It is in the Poblado. It is the second time I went there. $30 a night is hard to find, you might try Tiger Paw Hostel, a good location near Lleras. There are some other hostels in town also. A normal hotel, like Nutibara, or something in another location like Laureles, will cost you closer to $60 a night. The famous bed and breakfast Casa Blanca runs $60 and up. You ask for a location close to the casas and close to Lleras. There is no such thing, those are two different locations, one in Poblado and another in el Centro. So make up your mind. If you really know nothing about Medellín, then probably you should stay at Casa Blanca I or II. Especially if you don't speak a lot of Spanish. If you do speak good Spanish, and want a more authentic experience, you might stay in Laureles, Hotel San Esteban Plaza for example. I think Lleras is overrated, it's too touristy, try Laureles or El Centro for a more authentic experience, if you do speak Spanish. Otherwise, Casa Blanca.

I've taken some immersion courses in Spanish in MDE, but unfortunately, when one has only so much time, you come back to the horror reality of worklife and English, and forget the proper terms. You are certainly correct, but, as I recall, one uses tomar in a restaurant to choose something.
What I do know is that tomar or llevar, they sure understand "dinero" & "plata", and any other term as long as it translates to "MONEY"! The more dinero, they more they understand.

They have 4 wheeler rides now that take 4 hours I think cost is around 100 bucks per 4 wheeler but can put girl on back is located on right after your leaving Jose Maria Airport on right you can see them parked out front.

Although pricing is based on individual girl service provided. If the girl just bang you once or twice in all night and sleeps the rest and you are pissed all night about her sleeping then in that circumstance 200k will suffice, but if proper service is provided without much hassle and girl willingly takes good care of you then 250k is earned IMHO.

BTW I was at la Barra ejuctivo last friday and two white guys past me and my cousin in the hallway. We looked at them normally and they said "whats up" with kind of an attitude thinking we dont know english. I dont know whether it was anew guy on here or just a random but if your going to go to place like barra ejuctivo know spanish or atlest keep your head down and try not to start stuff. Me and my couisn arent what yopu would call small either so I dont know what these guys are trying to do.

You are certainly correct, but, as I recall, one uses tomar in a restaurant to choose something.
What I do know is that tomar or llevar, they sure understand "dinero" & "plata", and any other term as long as it translates to "MONEY"! The more dinero, they more they understand.

The way I learned it was tomar ( to take ) is used for taking photos, and in our previous scenarios meaning .. if you and I were in a restaurant and I hand you a drink, I would say "toma" like "take it". But if the waiter came over and said .. take it outside, no drinks allowed in here .. he would use llevar .. "llevala afuera" .. take it outside ( carry it outside ). He wouldn't use tomar for that.
Also like when they ask you if it is for here or to go they ask .. para aqui o para llevar". ( for here or to carry) they don't use para tomar.
Strangely ( to me ) is tomar is also used for what we would say in English ( to drink ). when beber is actually a more literal translation ( to drink ). That confused me for a while, so when they ask "y para tomar?" ( and to drink? ) that's another use of the word tomar.
I guess if I were in a casa and intended on doing her there I would just say .. vamos? Maybe she will ask me if I want for here for here or to go.

If you will screw anything you might like this place.At first I thought that this post was from one of those guys who take a quick 5 minute walk down the strip and instead of investing a little time in hunting for the few gems who are most always present, they give up and head for the more costly areas. On second thought I like this post as now it has finally sunk into my thick head to be happy to see this kind of opinion as the less Gringos on the strip, then the less chance of a price rise.
In the past I have been labeled as a Mayorista promoter, but now I will no longer praise this area.

Inter is short for International. The sign is busted and only the "Inter" part of it lights up so everyone calls it Club Inter.
The club is located in Itagui on the same Autopista Sur as Mango's. Funny thing that it's not on the Medellin lists. Easiest way I can say to get there is to ask a taxi driver to take you to Club Inter in Itagui. If the taxi driver doesn't know the place then just tell him to take you to Mango's via the Autopista Sur. As you approach Mango's (which will be on your right), tell the driver you want to go 1 mile further down and Club Inter will also be on your right and you will see the Big "Inter" sign lit up.
Club Inter is a modest strip joint with a low ceiling and crappy lighting and a in need of some remodeling or at least a serious paint job. You sit at small square tables on old fashion kitchen looking chairs. There is no cover and the beers and drinks are very reasonable and the girls are friendly and generally pretty.
Most if not all the girls do a strip so you can usually see what you are getting if that certain girl that catches your eye is up to dance. Tipping for the dance afterward is generally 1, 000 cop per table.
Indeed some cuties to be had although depending on what night you go can make all the difference in the world.

Wilfred if you are undecided between Lima and Medellin then it is my honest opinion to go to Medellin. I have been to both places and Medellin is by far a better option.

You make it sound really bad. In comparison to barra ejuctivo it is wayyy better. For one your not surrounded by 50 ghetto guys and 2 there are way less dudes so your not competing for chicas. Also the women are friendlier I found. I'm young so I'm really picky but I found that girls are prettier here. Go on a Friday night at around 11 or 12 and you won't be dissapointed. No dimes though. i also have a rola friend that i met here in the usa and i've never heard her say tu. it's always usted even when she talks to little kids. it's definitely confusing because it's sometime unclear if she's talking to about me or someone else since she uses the 3rd person verb form all the time and most times doesn't even add the usted for clarification.

I believe "usted" is used a bit less in paisaland than in the capital but I'm not entirely sure. CTG is on the coast and thus is the Caribbean style Spanish that many people from the states are exposed to. You'll also notice the paisas have a unique "dialect" or way of modulating their sentences. It's hard to describe in words but you'll notice the difference right away from the costeños and rolos/Bogotanos.

I arrived in beautiful Medellin yesterday. I am staying down until October 10th. Presently looking for a Wingman to recon this beautiful city loaded with Paisas. Made a short stay at the San Diego Mall yesterday afternoon to check out the mamasitas and use the Wi-Fi network there. Any additional info on Medellin is greatly appreciated. No concern for us gringos unless you happen to be in that part of Medellin by accident. The paisas still love us here. " at that time, for the life of me, couldn't tell the difference between one spanish accent from another. no way i could tell you what country someone was from, let alone the region just by listening to them speak.
i'm getting better at it. i find the spaniards the most difficult to comprehend because of the sheer speed that they belt it out.
in colombia i find the bogotanos, or rolos the easiest to understand because they speak clearly. it's like the perfect spanish. the coast isn't too bad, more relaxed. that's a nice way to put it anyway. but yep. the paisa accent/dialect is very distinct and noticeable right away, and fairly easy to understand.

Using slang requires a deep and intimate understanding of the culture and language to pull off. If you're a newbie and you use it in the right context, often, you'll still sound funny.

I visited Medellin once before and enjoyed it. I'll be in Colombia this time for two weeks and I'm thinking it's a bit long to spend only in CTG so am considering other places. Lima is top of my list right now, but Medellin would be much more convenient.
I like bars and clubbing, so LDV and Elektra and the other options in CTG are perfect for me. Should I go to Medellin?

I am coming week after next on my maiden voyage to MDE and Colombia. Been to SA dozen of times or so but never here.
I have narrowed it down to two housing options for my one week stay, which may stretch to two weeks. One is an interesting looking posada/hostel on Calle 35, which appears to be a dead end street from the map, and close to Lleras, etc. A private room with bath is $40 US and the website appears nice.
The other is a beautiful looking, new, and modern one bedroom apartment for $80 US. However, that is located on 8th on the opposite side of Rt.25 from Lleras. It is adjacent to the new SF mall, large book store and grocery store in the area called Golden Mile.
Not being familiar with the city, I am uncertain which lodging to select. Not much of a mall fan and don't want to constantly cross a busy highway to get to Lleras as it seems most of the activity is there.
Any thoughts from MDE vets?

Yeah, I was looking for a good place to go on a sunday before I left and I ended up in Luna Lunera. The quality of the girls wasnt as good but for a Sunday it was amazing haha. I ended up picking a girl at Grill san diego though....bad choice. Id definately go to luna luneras on a friday or something like that. It looks like it would be amazing. I believe Club Inter would be closed on Sunday. On a Sunday night San Diego & Fase II are open but expensive as you know. Perhaps International Doll House if it's open on Sunday for independents? Not sure if Luna Lunera is open on Sunday's either.
You know the Mayorista scene can be ify on Sundays as well unless there is a holiday on that Monday or if it's a pay weekend.

I'm not currently on the ground in Medellin but I follow Colombian news and politics closely so here's my brief take on recent events and how it affects the current security situation.
First Medellin: The spike in murders in Medellin was precipitated by the shutting down of the mafia group called the "Oficina de Envigado". That caused a power vacumn in the criminal underworld that erupted into violence as the lessor gangs fight for turf. Much but not all, of the aforementioned spike is due to the violence in the barrios. Places where any sane foreigner has no business. I'm basing this on my memory of the events so anyone with better intel, please chime in.
In my case, this won't affect me because (1) I'm really not on the street that much anyway and (2) when I am it's in the hills of El Poblado, the nice malls, Parque Lleras etc, etc. Relatively safe places.
Recent bombings: While infrequent, unfortunately they still happen from time to time. There were a couple in Cali and Buenaventura the past few years and this bad one this week in front of Caracol Radio in Bogota was, most likely, the FARC in there perverted way saying fuck you to new President Santos' overture to them for a negotiated settlement.
That's how they operate. They're evel bastards with boundless capacity and desire to maim and kill.
Return to pre-Uribe era violence? IMO, no. So much progress was achieved the past eight years that Colombian society won't accept it and the Colomibian government and security forces are much more skilled and better equipped to maintain security.
I admit it is all disturbing but the bottom line is that the country is not regressing to the bad old days. Just remember, it's still Colombia. Use common sense and if you keep a comprehensive security mindset at all times you'll enjoy it.

mid july was my 2nd trip to colombia but first trip to mde so here's a few of my thoughts/experiences

another one is que caja. literally means what a box but when used describing something can mean funny.some trivia: botar la caja means to throw or spit out one's false teeth. caja is also drawer-like (like cash register drawer. cajero is cash register or where you check out also an atm) or tray and false teeth are "tray like". so when you are out today and a table in the bar is laughing hysterically one would say "estan botando (la) caja". they are laughing up a storm. or they are laughing so hard that their false teeth are flying out.
origin. not just for old timers.
in the early 1900s up until about the 1950s rich families for their daughters' quincena (sweet 15) would give a gift. a visit to the dentist, who would pull out their teeth and replace them with a set false teeth. at 15, perfectly good teeth. so in those days it was not uncommon for people over 15 to be sporting false teeth.
fast forward to today, 'the suso show' is making popular the expression "que caja" which means "that's funny" or ""that's a riot! ", but the caja part is a reference to false teeth and not to a "box"
not to mention that suso is influencing his watchers to add s to words and it is his sort of his "thing" or speech imepdiment. pa(s)pi, malditabue(s)na, etc.
lastly foreigners using slang like this makes them sound dorky. don't be mistaken.
Just completed my second 10 day trip to MDE in less than 3 months. I wanted to enjoy the annual event of the “Festival of Flowers” as well as to partake in the daily event of playing with the "young flowers" that MDE offers. I could only say that this trip far exceeded my expectations. There were some unique experiences with non-pros that I would never forget. I spent the entire time in Casa Blanca Uno (Medellin Mansion). Again, I befriended many wonderful individuals. This is the main reason I stay in this hotel. And Greg and Boyd were very helpful in ensuring that all guests have a good time.
Followings are some of the highlights that may be useful for visiting mongers. Again, these are all my personal observations; so there is no right or wrong inference.
Centro CASAs:
This time I had the opportunity to visit many casas (New Life is a must). Most of them are well reviewed here. However, there is one casa that I don’t remember being mentioned here. I thought this is a hidden gem. The name of the casa is ENCUENTROS: Call. 49 #43-68. It is next to Universidad de Antioquia. I was shown a lineup of 9 girls and more were still arriving. Most of them were very attractive. I picked Joana, a very beautiful girl with a spectacular body. She is the star of this place. Our chemistry matched perfectly and I had a wonderful session. I recommend this place highly. Prices are similar to other casas.
Boyd of Casa Blanca recommended PLAYMODELS, Call.57 #50-19. It is a small establishment. The place already changed their name to: NUEVE SALA. Only 3 average girls were shown. I did not participate.
Centro Strip clubs:
Of the three clubs, Las Americanas, Maracaibo and Executivo, I liked Maracaibo the best. The quality of girls is acceptable and prices are very reasonable. 50K for 30 min for on-site encounter. I went several times to Maracaibo with other guys. However, I never took any girl there. I really liked only one girl, named Juli. I made a date with her to come and see me at my hotel on her off day, Wednesday. My cell phone malfunctioned that day and the date did not pan out. My last night at MDE, I went back to see her at Maracaibo, but she was off that night. This was the only loose end that I could not close during my trip.
Other Clubs:
Dollhouse: My friend was dating a dancer from Dollhouse. We all went for dinner at Parque IIeras and then went to the club at 11 PM. 10K entrance fee. This is a big nice place but the club was completely dead. There was no dancer. The stage was empty. May be it was early in the night. But the club of this stature should not be dead like that on a Thursday night. Even before going I checked with my friend’s girl during dinner that whether it will be okay to go there that early. But she verified that it was a perfect time to go. There were a few girls available for onsite action. I took phone number from one girl for future action at my hotel. I was having so many girls that I simply had no time for her.
SanDiego Show: Lots of girls and the club was very lively. But for my taste the girls were average and “Gordita”. I only liked three of them that I could have done. But they are expensive. 120K for 30 min onsite action. Most of the dancers were lousy, except one (name escapes me). I made sure to talk to her at length and tipped her handsomely. She was with somebody, otherwise I would have done her.
Fase II: If you want to visit only one high end club, this is your place. Dancers, girls, ambiance and the price are all very attractive. Went several times. Never disappointed.
Luna Lunera: A great club, of course during the weekend. If you want to enjoy a real lesbian show happening right in front of you, just go there. If you seat near the stage, you will get a lap dance for sure. And if you never stay in the mansion, but want to enjoy mansion girls, then go there too. Lots of Mansion girls work there at night. This time I had an onsite encounter with Carolina. She saw me in the Mansion in my earlier trip. She could not keep her hands off me. Attacked me in the room and went for a non-stop action for half an hour ending up CIM with swallow. This was my last night in MDE. So after my session with Carolina, I went back into the club and took Francis, who I fancied earlier. But I wanted her in my hotel. It was about 2:30 AM and I was not going to pay any MULTA to the club. Francis told me to wait outside and get a cab. Within 10 min she came out and we ended up having a wild session in the Mansion. She left after 6 AM and I went back for a much needed sleep.
Mayorista:
This time I went a few times. First night, I did not like it at all. Second time, I met a young one who I thought was walking through the place. I asked her whether she was working and she answered affirmatively. She was so cute, I immediately grabbed her and sat her down next to me. I believe her name is Natalia. She is 18 , quite tall with a very cute face. I was with several friend and we ordered dinner. I played sugar daddy for a while, bought her a few things she wanted and of course the dinner. Then I took her to the hotel (12K for hotel, 30 K for her). And everything went downhill from there. I thought I was with an immature 10 year old. She does not know anything about how tom please a man. I went through the motion and ended the lousy time mercifully when there was a knock on the door. My take on Mayorista is that if you want some action between 7 PM (when centro casas closes and Midnight (when other strip clubs goes into gear), this is the place you can try. Quality of girls are very average. My friend and I only found only 3 girls that we could have been interested. But then again, you have no way of knowing what will transpire inside the room. To be honest, my friend took an older girl and she totally rocked his boat.
Persistency works:
While walking one day in Centro area, I met a “Hello Girl” who was handing out cards for one of the new casas (I forgot the name of this place). She was so pretty that I got immediately horny. These girls do not speak a word of English).
Paragliding trip:
Greg arranged a Paragliding trip for the guests of the Mansion on Sunday, the last day of my trip. Although, my turn did not end perfectly (the pilot could not land the chute properly due to severe wind shear, missed the landing strip by at least 20 ft and we ended up in a ditch and the chute ended up in a tree), but the experience was quite memorable. The weather was perfect and the view was spectacular. I will repeat it in a heartbeat. I would recommend this excursion highly. 80K for 30 min plus transportation. I want to thank Greg profoundly for arranging this special trip.
MDE is growing on me. Quite scarry!

Non working girls walk almost in the street when walking past the strip. Working girls walk right next to the bars and resturants. For sure any girl walking on the street is not working. One time a famous Mansion girl who gets 150 K ST was on the strip and I just asked her if she was working here in Mayorista tonight and she said yes and to my surprise her price was 30K. It ended up a TLN and big hearted guy that I am I gave her 50K. She has returned a few times since as I think because she first started here and has girlfriends that she still returns once in a while. I'm thinking of a visit to Colombia once again. Logistics dictate that I fly into Cartagena from the US, but I actually want to go to Medellin. What is the safest and least expensive way to do that, and is land travel between Cartagena and Medellin a reasonable alternative?
Last time I was in Colombia, traveling between, or venturing to the outskirts of the major population centers, it was considered considerably dangerous due to the para military groups. But, this was several years ago.

Only thing is, "te gusto mucho" does not mean "I like you a lot".
You should say "me gustas mucho", which translates literally to "You are very pleasing to me" and therefore "I like you a lot".
Gustar is used differently than other verbs in spanish.
An interesting note, in portuguese the verb "gostar" which is "gustar" in spanish, is used and conjugated as a regulater verb.
"Eu gosto de voce" in portuguese, "I like you"

BandyThank you very much for the tips. I have mongered extensively all over the world but I always (have been) go for working pros. I have a general tendency to keep it simple. I look for the best combination of looks and service (total value) and do not care how much I pay. Subconsciously, may be, I am shy or under confident. Also, if were to attempt some non-pro action, I imagine that I would tend to feel a bit under pressure to perform and worry about "satisfying" the "date". Your reports (and several other similar reports regarding non-pros) clearly intrigue me. I guess deep down most guys would prefer a fantastic evening of dinner, date and killer sex with a non-pro over a pro but not everyone has the patience or ability to score one (or several in your case). Congratulations.

Centro Casas: 30K for 30 min; 40 Kfor 45 min; 60 Kfor 60 min
Centro Strip clubs: 50K for 30 min; 70K for 40 min onsite
FaseII: 150K for 50 min on site
San Diego: 120K for 30 min onsite
Luna Lunera: 100K for 30-40 min onsite
Dollhouse: 150K for 40 min (be careful, they don't knock on the door, if you go over 40 min they charge you 300K) on site
Mansion girls:150 K for about 2 hours. Some of them will negotiate and take less.
Generally, you should always negotiate price, service etc, in clubs. casa prices are fixed. You can negotiate special service with the girl in the room for additional charge.
For non-pros, I always give them taxi money. I never paid more than 150K though for any encounter. Mostly 100K. However, I invited several of them for dinner. I like to have company during dinner and what could be better knowing that another special meal is waiting when the dinner is over.

Brand new Tigo phones in Oviedo are only 15 bucks.You risk lower quailty, poor sound, breaking down and not being able to get them serviced in your home country - also a risk is them not working on your home country's BAND. The Tigo phones in Oviedo MAY only work with TIGO or on the Colombia BAND or may be locked. But I am not sure.
IMHO better to buy and have one good quality unlocked phone with all of your numbers in it, works in every country and all you have to do is switch SIM cards.

I'm noticing lately some conflicting ideas regarding mongering for Colombianas is better outside of Colombia.
I'm not so sure if that's the case. If the guys that are lately declaring that have specific anecdotes or reports to support them, then I'm all ears. But usually the reports coming out of San Jose and Panama City (where a lot of Colombianas go for P4P work) are mixed at best. The usual complaints about prices, attitude, mechanical service, CBJ, even clock-watching are common.
I believe the situation is bit better in St. Martin but keep in mind the Dutch Antilles runs a tight ship in terms of examining the girls regularly for STDs. They get the fear of that drummed into them so don't expect bbbjs unless you've gained their trust over multiple sessions. I've been to St. Martin's and I'll gladly take MDE over that island in most situations.
Keep in mind these girls are under pressure to pay off the costs of the flight ticket, lodging, etc. Even the prettier girls feel the stress to rack up customers, otherwise, they don't make much money which makes the trip kind of pointless. And the plainer or less aggressive girls could end up in debt.

Speaking of buying stuff in Italy, I must admit I was somewhat disappointed later on with my leather purchase from Firenze (Florence) and my "Murano" glass set. I'm glad I only bought the least expensive of what appealed to me. So while there's a case to be made for not buying certain famous products inside the country they're made in, I think the P4P world operates under a whole different set of "rules."
And anyway, Italy may not be the best example. In general, there's a lot of hype about Italian products when the reality is compromised/adulterated quality due to mafioso (and corporate) shenanigans and greed. And that can apply even more to stuff that's exported such as the documented scandals in the past regarding Italian wines and olive oil sold in Europe and the states. I see Italy as a kind of richer "banana republic" Latin-American corrupt type country with better food and architecture :)
Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on Italy. I have nothing personal against Italians, and I actually like a lot of things about Italian culture, music, art, food, etc. Product quality is usually good, just not as high as people claim it to be and so prices are too often not reflecting the reality.

Wow I loved the DR (Sosua especially Classico's), but if you say SXM is number 1 than I must try it out. The beach I think is so important to me as I love to swim and walk on the beach. A good way to kill some time and recuperrate from the nightly exertions.
Mr. Lucky, you mentioned that you could get a room in Campo. If I did that I would most likely have to leave on a strecher I would be like a kid locked in a candy store.

Sorry. It is Sint Maarten (the Dutch side of the island, with the other half being French and called Saint Martin), where the airport is. For years people referred to it by it's airport code (SXM) most likely to avoid confusion between the the Dutch and French sides and the different spelling.
At Campo you are basically locked in a compound with around 100 chicas all from Colombia or DR (not sure of the ratio. 60-40?) I downgraded Campo in my book because, of the few reasons Ricker also mentioned AND the hit and miss factor. It can be a let down sometimes if you are there all day and you have to look really hard to find an 8 and she has along line of fuckers waiting for her. Can get depressing actually. BTW, outside of Campo there is ZERO reliable action.

IMHO, The best place in the Caribbean is SXM. Some guys might argue that DR is #1. I beg to defer purely as a personal preference. It would be #2 in my opinion. Curacao #3 and as it stands today, Aruba would be #4.

This topic seems to come up a lot so I'll put my two cents in.
First off all women want something from a man if they are involved sexualy.
All of them are expensive. Sometimes with a non pro it may not be so much money as more of needing you to take them to the doctors or going to a wedding or any number of things that men find boring.
