My guess is your a native Spanish speaker, where as most of the board members here are not.I'm not but I have a bachelor's degree in it. I used to live in Medellin and I still miss it sometimes, so that's why I read the board, but have little to offer in the way of hooker stories. One follow-up question. How to do the prices for the apartment complexes that you list compare with those of San Peter's for its larger, upper floor, better noise-insulated apartments? (If not mistaken, about $1,000 per month.).Overall, the non San Peter apartments are a bit more expensive but, usually have other features which make up for it, besides the noise issues at San Peters. Even with sound proof windows some reviewers still had issues. For me, San Peters apartments are fairly bare bones. I like a real sitting area away from the bedroom, with a large TV and comfortable couches and or chairs. And they are just much more nicely decorated, which is nice for long term stays. Overall, the San Peters sitting areas are not that comfortable looking. I like an area which will help put a lady at ease, to break the ice with a drink or just chatting. Now, I am going to be spending over two months in MDE so comfort is a priority out side the bedroom. If I was two weeks or less, SP would be a good option. I can and have used ear plugs but prefer not too. They are also more secure and I am sure, and the people there have seen every issue there is between punters and the girls. In my two rentals neither one has a doorman or security at night near as I can tell. This is a blessing and a risk. A blessing between I don't have to have to endure the dagger eyes of grandmothers when I take a girl more than half my age (but legal!) up to my apartment. I can also have a Venezuelan with maybe less than perfect documentation in. However, also a risk for there is no nighttime security. I tend to be cautious so I feel I will be ok. Last but not least, SP apartments max out at 3 people occupancy, whereas most for that same 1 k a month you can get a two bedroom with 4 max which is what I did. A foursome is on my bucket list.
Not to mention, most Colombians don't speak perfect Spanish either, just like most English speakers don't speak perfect Englsih. The best is just to get out there and say what you can. You will improve with time and practice. Mostly you can get your point across without being perfect. The DiDi driver told me to avoid el Centro on Sunday, because shops are closed and the place is more dangerous.

Crossing back shouldn't be a problem. I think the new entrance is closed at 1-2 am. So you want to stay near jack in box entrance side. The old entrance.
Tips at the club. There's a robe guy tip $1. There's also a clock watcher room cleaner. What I do is look for the cleaners and tip prior to session but also mention knock later to get more time.

Well so far Medellin has been good to me, the first time I came I made. Some good contacts also met "regular" girls who I visited once again went out dinner drinks all that. Of course a month before I used SA I had some luck there but honestly and things just me I paid for tinder platinum or gold whatever it is and used this to talk to girls which I had great success with. A new hotel with 2 bars and 20 rooms is opening in late Nov in Poblado, large 16 person outdoor Jacuzzi can be rented for parties as well as rooms by the hour, I was told the the bars will have a large selection of independent working girls, something to look out for in the coming weeks, located between calle 10 and calle 10 a 1 block down from avenida Poblado.I suspect this might be Pablado Rentals (I posted some info on them in an earlier post about airbnb findings) transforming there building (or one of their buildings) into a hotel on that street. How does Colombia compare? Medellin, Cartagena, Bogota?It's just my opinion, but with a few exceptions, picking up women isn't country or region specific. If you can pickup girls at home, you should be able to pickup girls anywhere.
I don't think Tinder really fits in with that, unless you're within your age group. I'm 59. I can get women 45 and up on Tinder any day. No problem whatsoever. However, my chance of picking up a 23 year old is slim, unless it's a financial transaction. Tinder is 90% superficial. If a girl swipes right on you, she either thinks you have a look she's interested in, or she thinks there's a profit to be made. There's nothing else in the initial process.
The area where I've always done best is online. I can chat, make some jokes, be interesting (or at least simulate it) and get past the first glance stage. Long before I gave up dating for "the money's on the nightstand", online was my candy store. In my experience, women are much more likely than men to go for someone much older (and any other negative attributes), if you can get them talking.

All I have to say is, I am so sad to be home. I am sitting at my house now and just thinking about Medellin. Looking at how much I have invested thinking man I could live there for 30 years off my savings and enjoy my 30's and 40's way more.
Little background, I made a few reports, but to anyone that doesn't know me. I'm 35 Italian in NY area, lots of tats, and love Spanish women. Well, on my return to the US on Saturday night, I was 1 of those travelers to get there extra security check. Sadly it sounds like Gustos patrons may also need to establish ahead of time with the girl that she will be paid after, at the conclusion of the appointment. Been to Gustos close to a dozen times on several different trips. For most dudes, the guys are going to get quoted 150 USD for an hour and 200 USD for all night. You can talk them down and get lucky if you wait around for closing and maybe knock a few bucks off, but that's the general rate. The girls aren't there to fuck hot guys for fun, they would go to normal clubs for that. They are there to make money first and if they have fun along the way its a bonus. I did pull a 3 some out of there a year ago for around 600-700 mil and the one girl wanted to stay the night and I had to kick her out. My last trip I was quoted 200 USD for the night and the girl wouldn't budge and neither would I. I also approached a few girls and they didn't seem too interested so I definitely did not make an offer. Ended up taking a very decent girl out of the park for 300,000 and I know I should have haggled to 200,00 but I was in the moment having fun, my fault. I would be very surprised to hear a girl leaving gustos for 100,000. Maybe 200,000 but with the pesos so low right now that's less than 30 $, might as well be free at that point.

I did notice a lot more gringos in Medellin than I did in Bogotá. I myself prefer places with less tourist attention, Cúcuta was actually a nice place for mongering and with really good prices. And Santa Fe in Bogota and centro in Medellin but I have to check out Poblado.

I know a girl for a few years, I try to see her when in town, and she is available. She has a regular office job, so sometimes hard to get hold of her. In the middle of tons of places that average Colombians go to, but there are none in there that are not hookers and no local males. Something is definitely amiss. Same as some venues in Santo Domingo and Rio. Look around and if there are no locals inside then you may not be getting clipped per se, but you definitely are not getting standard prices.

I am considering the trip in December (this would be my first time in Colombia). The trip would be with a small group of friends (men and women) in mid-fifties, with very limited Spanish.
Felt super safe in Peru (Lima and elsewhere), but I am concerned about the reports of violent vibe lately, due to Covid. This would not be just "mongering" trip, we would like to stay in Laurels, eat in nice cafes / restaurants, just walk around.
Alternative is Buenos Aires (Argentina just opened up) - much safer but hot and humid in December.

There's no reason to pay double, triple, quadruple for any of that. If in the streets though the beggars will offer plenty of interruptions, if you can't pretend like they are invisible. There's fewer around Lleras than some other areas. They aren't allowed to ply their trade inside the clubs on La 70 or inside the popular strip clubs.

That's the easiest way to finding out where the locals go. You're going to get a bunch of the touristy places, but you'll also get pointed at the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Doormen, Hotel Desk Clerks, Bartenders and Taxi drivers are the people you ask to find out where locals go do stuff.
If you want to do it the super lazy way, dig through this forum and find out who gives the Medellin tours and pay them to give you a proper tour. There's always one in each of these forums.

Do you remember the Hungry I?Sorry I did not see this post earlier. A quick look on Yelp says the Hungry I just recently closed after being there since the 1960's but I do not remember going there. I was actually stationed at Ft Ord when we would go to San Francisco for the strip clubs, Ft Ord was about 2 1/2 hours south so we would go up for weekends sometimes but after one guy got charged 75 Dollars (1985 dollars! a lot for an army private) for a bottle of champagne and we all had to pitch in money to bail him out, that was the last time we did a strip club up there.

I just returned from Medellin after spending 2 weeks of mongering.
I started harvesting FB girls 4 weeks before my travel. I was able to piggy back on FB friend list of another monger. So I was able to add 60+ fb Medellin girls as my FB friends without much effort. A week before my travel, I messaged each of them and asked their whatsapp number and about half of them shared it without any hesitation, even though my fb page has no picture of me in my profile. Handful of them did not have whatsapp, and communication was still available over FB meseenger. Most of them continue to be communicable over FB messenger as well as whatsapp. So not having their whatsapp number did not stop me from reaching to them.
Once I was in Medellin, I started messeging them with date, time-slot, money I will pay, and what sexual activity (DFK, 69) I want. Out of 30 who had shared their whatsapp, about 20 of them agreed with some negotiation. I had initially offered them 150 k. Some of them wanted taxi to be added, some wanted 200 that includes taxi, only handful wanted 200 plus taxi. One wanted 250, another one wanted 500. So majority of them I was able to see for 150+30 k for taxi.
I found that those who did not mention taxi money during price negotiations brought it up when they hire taxi. They called me at the last minute thagt they do not have money for taxi. They are already late for the timeslot, and they are forcing me to negotiate the taxi money. After such experiences, I made sure taxi money is negotiated up front and who will bear it.
Another thing that was a discovery for me was time they choose to arrive. If you set the appointment at 1 pm, they are suppose to arrive by 1 pm, which mean they must leave their home much earlier. But typically, they would leave their home at 1 pm, and traffic in medellin what it is, they will arrive by 1:30 pm or 2 pm, screwing up your rest of the day's plans, None of the girls I saw came on time. They all were late by 30 min-45 min, and some came late for more than an hour. It is the way outcalls work in medellin and you have to roll with it.
Most of them took shower before and after, and 10-15 min of idle chat to warm for sex. So I made sure to communicate that our appointment would be for 90 min. Without such agreement upfront, they might leave after one hour, and you would not get full hour of sex. If any sexual act is important to you. Make sure you mention it when price is negotiated and agreed.
Overall, I found that girls were friendly, not pushy, did not rush. Their looks were average girl-next-door type, not glossy as their pictures lead you to believe. Only 4 out 15 I could say they were 8. Rest were 7 or 6. But none had fake tits or plastic ass. I liked them better then casa and prepago girls.
I had a long list of prepago girls from mileroticas and photoprepago sites that were highly reviewed at catadorcolombia.com but I could see only 3 of them, as communicating with them was the biggest issue. They do not reply in timely manner. They quote outrageous extra money for outcalls. I tried to sample casa girls, but I had hard time finding casa girls agreeing to do DFK & 69. When you go to any casa, most girls are occupied. Your presentation will be limited to 4-5 girls. You would have competition with others trying to catch the hot ones. And if you succeed to nab one, you find out that she is not willing to provide extras even with extra money. I had that happen to me so many times, I had to return without seeing anybody, and I stopped going to casas. I did not partake SWs of el centro for same reasons. They are already late for the timeslot, and they are forcing me to negotiate the taxi money. After such experiences, I made sure taxi money is negotiated up front and who will bear it.
Another thing that was a discovery for me was time they choose to arrive. If you set the appointment at 1 pm, they are suppose to arrive by 1 pm, which mean they must leave their home much earlier. But typically, they would leave their home at 1 pm, and traffic in medellin what it is, they will arrive by 1:30 pm or 2 pm, screwing up your rest of the day's plans, None of the girls I saw came on time. They all were late by 30 min-45 min, and some came late for more than an hour. It is the way outcalls work in medellin and you have to roll with it.
Most of them took shower before and after, and 10-15 min of idle chat to warm for sex. So I made sure to communicate that our appointment would be for 90 min. Without such agreement upfront, they might leave after one hour, and you would not get full hour of sex. If any sexual act is important to you. Make sure you mention it when price is negotiated and agreed.
Overall, I found that girls were friendly, not pushy, did not rush. Their looks were average girl-next-door type, not glossy as their pictures lead you to believe. Only 4 out 15 I could say they were 8. Rest were 7 or 6. But none had fake tits or plastic ass. I liked them better then casa and prepago girls.
I had a long list of prepago girls from mileroticas and photoprepago sites that were highly reviewed at catadorcolombia.com but I could see only 3 of them, as communicating with them was the biggest issue. I tried to sample casa girls, but I had hard time finding casa girls agreeing to do DFK & 69. When you go to any casa, most girls are occupied. Your presentation will be limited to 4-5 girls. You would have competition with others trying to catch the hot ones. And if you succeed to nab one, you find out that she is not willing to provide extras even with extra money. I had that happen to me so many times, I had to return without seeing anybody, and I stopped going to casas. I did not partake SWs of el centro for same reasons. Most of them have no way to take shower after they had sex and they see so many of them during the day, and so doing DFK /69 to these girls is not appealing to me. So I visited ground zero every day but did not see a single SW.

There is a barrio called Manila in Poblado which basically is a restaurant district just across the Exito on Calle 10 a five minute walk from the Poblado Metro station and you don't need to ride a taxi there. Another option is to get off at the Industrailes station before the Poblado staion and there are several places to eat there as well. The nice part being that the Metro is so close to the Hotel Nutibarra.

I tell them that if they are more than 30 minutes late, don't bother to come because I will be gone. It's not fool proof, some will still show up very late but I literally leave 30 minutes after. P.S. If you come not to like your room, don't be shy about asking to switch.
