I'll take some flak for this. But hell, I haven't made many friends on the MDE board anyway. So take my opinion as just that. A subjective opinion.
On my most recent trip in January, I stayed at the mansion. Hotel M. Hotel MSAS. I know some have been tripped up by the various names. I went with low expectations and thanks to the many contributors, I understood the game there. It's easy mongering. For those that speak no Spanish or live in fear of walking the streets, this can't be beat. Myself, I probably should be more fearful; I take stupid, unnecessary risks often. And I speak enough Spanish to keep me out of trouble or at least function well enough to get around. So the benefits of the mansion weren't exactly a need of mine. My plan was to have that be my home base, anything I did there was gravy. But my main options were to be Lleras and Gusto. (Yes, another reason to blast me, but again. Just my preference.).
I will tell you, after my visit, I think the mansion is undervalued. It is absolutely a beginner's paradise. And I'm not exactly an old veteran of Colombia. But I believe it has great value for even the most experienced person.
The hotel is nice, if not a bit difficult to find. Most taxi drivers needed help, despite it being just a block or so off a main road. The accommodations are decent. I would equate it to a 2 star hotel by US standards. The bed was not luxurious but if you aren't looking for 5 star accommodations, you won't be disappointed. It is clean. The setup, with girls at the pool or the bar, are fantastic. The employees at the mansion are unbelievable. You want for nothing. They will help you with anything. They just blew me away with their level of service. All done with a genuine smile. I cannot say enough about how helpful they are.
Another thing I mostly enjoyed was the camaraderie among the hombres. I have never gone to a place like this and I always travel alone. Like most, I suspect, this is my "other life". So I was a bit apprehensive about chatting it up with other guys. But, surprisingly, I greatly enjoyed that aspect. Maybe my expectations were off but that was a great experience.
As many have mentioned, there is a pool during the day where you can meet some chicas. You can hang out there or you can obviously go to your room. When you are hanging out, do not expect anything but flirting. But that is definitely something I enjoy so it was great. I prefer getting to know the girl and you certainly have ample opportunity to do that.
Pricing. I was told by a fellow monger "we set the price at 200 K." I asked him how long that is and basically, that is one pop but highly negotiable. My experience is that ymmv on pricing. I got to know the girls and ended up paying much less than $200 k per hour. (I prefer longer dates.). The highest I paid was $500 K and that was for basically a 24 hour, whatever you want party.
Availability. If there was a negative, at the mansion, I would say that the number of girls available varies widely. During the day at the pool, in my experience, that number would vary between 4 and up to about 15. At night, there is a club adjacent to the hotel. The volume varied between 10 and about 40. The club experience for me was very spotty. Most times I went in there, it was depressing. Girls lined the couches on the side and it was almost awkward. But, on Friday night, it was awesome. The club is very dark and not particularly fancy. It's pretty bare bones, actually. But the vibe that Friday night was a great party. I met alot of girls. The overall quality of the girls that night seemed significantly higher. So it could be a weekday vs weekend thing.
Quality of the chicas. This is impossibly subjective, of course. But I would rate the girls from 5's-8's. I did not see a 9 come through there at any point. So if you are a trophy hunter, this might not suit your game. And I would categorize the girls as more of the girl next door type. I felt like most of them were pretty honest, comfortable. I never got a shark feeling from any of them. But again, I think getting to know them helps avoid that transactional experience.
Transportation. As others have mentioned, it's a very hilly area. I stayed in M1. M2 is nearby but that hill is steep. It's in a nice, walkable neighborhood. But I'm a fat ass. I walked the hills and if I can, so can you. But just know that it is steep. As for the taxis, as I mentioned earlier, when I was out and about town, I never found a taxi that was familiar with Hotel M. Tip: they have business cards right at the front counter. It includes a map. Keep one with you and you won't have a problem.
Surroundings. There are plenty of shops, grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants in the area. The Santa Fe mall is close, within walking distance. The hotel is maybe a mile east of Lleras. (Maybe less) But it is walkable. I did the walk late at night / early morning and never felt unsafe. This by no means is anything to do with the mansion. But my last night, maybe 4 AM, I was awakened by a very significant shootout. (I slept with the windows open on the 2nd floor.) It sounded maybe a couple miles away. But it was prolonged. I look at it as a good reminder to keep your awareness up.
Last piece of advice. Cost of the room. You can definitely find less expensive accommodations. And if that's most important to you, don't bother with the mansion. Their best rooms are under $100 per night. (I'd encourage anyone to get the best room you can.) But all things considered, I felt very good with the price I paid.
Again, to each their own. And kudos to those that have explained the mansion on this board. Based on that, I chalked it up to a beginner's playground. But using it as a base and not the only place to shop? I like. I like it so much I booked again for next month.

I used to be a huge fan of La Isla. $100 USD for a 10. Not so much anymore. A sad mix of crap girls, a few lookers with attitude and hustlers they never had before. Sad! They are overrun by new patrons (mongers. Gringo sex tourists. Bachelor parties. All types) and the 10's have mostly disappeared. The bar has been moved to the back and you will need bottle service or a group purchase of quite a few drinks for a booth. Just like the USA. The place was packed last night. I left after 30 minutes. Boring.It looks like you had the same experience as Captain Solo at La Isla. That is sad. It was the only strip club in Colombia where I saw true stunners, real 9's and 10's.

Well I am not a hardcore monger but occasional sessions with GFE is appreciated during the travel.

First post. I'm a veteran of yearly visits to Russia and most other FSU countries but trying Colombia this time around due to the BS going on in Ukraine / Russia border these days. I was planing a trip with two other friends but real life got in the way for all of them, and now I'm on my own. My date are March 2nd to the 9th. I have RTFF, and planning on getting a hotel, deciding between Hotel Leretta in Poblado or Hotel Dorado in LLeras. I have been reading the forum post going back almost a year and hope to try everything from Botero Park to Gusto. Built up a decent FB pipeline already. Overdue trip report from a few months ago, just getting time to finally write down my thoughts.
It's best to start with what type of monger I am and what I look for. I like the GFE experience throughout the entire interaction. Back to my story I used seeking exclusively for my mongering activities while in Medellin. If you haven't used it before, be prepared for a hell of a lot of work, especially if you don't speak Spanish (I do not) it's going to be infinitely harder for you especially while trying to make a connection on dates. There are people getting off before you get to El Centro, it will be obvious when you get to the final stop downtown. You will pass a nice city park on your right (Parque Simon Bolivar) when you are close, a few blocks away.
You pay as you exit the bus, the price is now 13 mil COP, (13.000 Colombian pesos, yes they use periods instead of commas). That's two price increases since I started riding the bus in 2019. You don't need exact change but get as close as possible. If you hand the bus driver 15 mil COP, that's like a 50 cent USD tip, if that doesn't bust your budget. Tips are generally not expected in Colombia. For comparison, a taxi will cost you 80-90 mil COP depending on exactly where you are headed in Medellin.
As you step off the bus look across the street and to your left for this restaurant, La Raza. While I was there La Raza was open very late, after the last bus of the day. BTW, the food in there is good, pricey by Colombian standards. Chicas love the place.
The Raza is the back entrance to "The Nutti. " You used to be able to walk into the reception area directly thru The Raza but they put a card key lock on the door right before you get to the hotel lobby. Your room key will work it, but obviously you need to check in first. Pearl: There is a BanColombia ATM tucked to your right as you stand at the door to get into the lobby. There is often a line of people waiting to use it but that ATM is open when almost all others nearby are closed. For example, with your room key you can use that ATM at 4 AM in the morning if you so choose when there is no line. 600 mil COP max withdrawal, but I have done two back to back and four in one 24 hour period with no problem.
You can catch the eye of the bellboy and he will let you in to the lobby or walk to your left past the food court around the bar and exit where I circled in the last foto, and you will come out in the front of The Nutti with the main entrance close to your right, up the ramp..
All I have to say is, I am so sad to be home. I am sitting at my house now and just thinking about Medellin. Looking at how much I have invested thinking man I could live there for 30 years off my savings and enjoy my 30's and 40's way more.

My impression from my first trip to Colombia was that dollar for dollar its one of the countries where a woman's physical beauty is the least valuable in the world. I know there are plenty of poorer countries than Colombia even in Latin America. For example, Bolivia or Paraguay are less developed and cheaper places. There are pensioners living in the Moderatto full-time so it is not a party building. The church nearby rings its bells early in the morning. On weekdays the building is in the flight path of a plane that arrives at 7 AM. The outcall chicas tend to have a hard time finding the place.
From my observation, the men who rent there tend to stick to one girl. You see them at the breakfast place next door in the morning. For under 100 k pesos, you can rent a room at either the Aloha, Executive 33 (associated with Luna Lunera) or the Thematic Luxury. I usually went to the motels for my afternoon dates. One advantage is the you don't have to clean up the mess afterwards.

There is also a back gate to the mall that is open until 8 or 9 pm. I have brought girls in through there during the day and have had luck 90% of the time. . Just have some of your groceries with you and maybe an umbrella. A couple times they've called my room after they saw me come through the back gate with someone and I just said it was the girl that had checked in before. No problem. Of course I'm not bringing in 3 or 4 girls a day like some others on here.

Jacknimble.In Gusto you're dealing with the Gusto hooker union. Very rarely will you find one who will ask for much less. If you wait for closing time, you might get a bargain. Lleras Park is less organized. Prices should vary more. There are several night clubs in the area and you'll likely find a few working girls in each, at lower prices.

Jacknimble.I spent some time in Lleras Park Nightclub in December. It has been interesting to watch the evolution of this place over the last 3 or 4 years. To answer your question directly I would say it's not a rip-off joint like Gusto. The chicas will tell you real prices like "300 mil pesos" or maybe less unlike Gusto chicas will tell you 300 and later tell you they meant 300 USA Dollars. Or some are more honest and tell you up front their prices are in dollars. I haven't yet heard stories of chicas in LPN asking for dollars or worse yet giving a number and later saying they meant dollars not mil pesos. Be sure to always say "mil pesos" when discussing prices with chicas.
On a side note if you like or are ok with thicker chicas then LPN is probably a good place to shoot fish in a barrel without being ripped off.

I wouldn't consider having that much money while walking around, I was just using it as an example of the difference of my normal travel destination (Thailand) to Colombia. The only big risk I hope to take on this trip in BBFS if I really like the girl. I just don't want to miss out on a golden opportunity due to lack of funds. Love motels are better equipped and typically offer rooms for 3-6 hours. Short time rooms are rented in 30 minute blocks and tend to contain the bare minimum. Streetwalkers tend to use short time rooms. While some guys take girls to love motels, streetwalkers generally don't take customers to love motels, they're too expensive.

Well I am counting days / hours to reach Colombia this weekend after 2 years of isolation.
After getting the feedback from many members, I am having second thoughts of cancelling 4 points by Sheraton (pablado) and book San peter hotel in Laureles.
Unfortunately the rooms are sold out for Feb 20-25 dates. That means demand is really pent up for at least guest friendly hotels.

No personal experience with them, but someone on ISG has stayed there.
If you are going with the Love Motel option, Las Cabanas is probably the closest to the Parque Lleras area. However, if you're getting in a taxi already, you might as well take another 5-10 minutes and go to Motel Ibiza. It's not too far, the rooms are excellent and the price is around 100 k for 6 hours (just over $25), plus whatever you get from the mini bar.

You can absolutely pay for good sex, a simple exchange of money for services and there is no limit of chicas offering that in Colombia (or any part of the world). But what you will miss out on are many hidden extras that you only get when a girl has a good time in your company. I've had girls wanting to stay the night at no extra cost but plenty of extra sex, girls hanging out for hours just chilling and fucking, again no extra cost, girls doing many extra 'services' for no extra cost that were not agreed before hand but they wanted to do because they enjoyed the vibe and were having a nice time. Okay so this is completely subjective, but for me when I travel to monger, I'm usually traveling alone. I might make some friends off of ISG and meet up sometimes, but for the most part, we're all doing our own thing. Some days I'll spend most of the day on my own, going from casa to casa and fucking whatever chicas are there that interest me. Other days where I have no plans, I'll walk around, head to a mall, sit down and browse the internet for an hour or two on my phone or tablet, and sometimes meet a nice looking waitress or meet someone sitting by me, buy them a drink (it's Colombia, it's cheap as fuck) and chat with them. I know from the way I look that I can't pull a girl without a lot of effort and / or time on my part, so I try to steer the conversation over to me telling them I'm American and just visiting a short while, and asking if they have plans later or if they want to exchange numbers. This lets them know I'm not there to get into anything serious, I'm not there for long, and it's an opportunity for them to make some quick decent money on the side.
What does this bring me? A girl who will most likely go out with me on a date or two, maybe go together on walks, and have someone to eat lunch or dinner with at a restaurant. And the best part? The girl will go back to my place, we'll spend more time together, have some fun. The built up chemistry just makes things way more fun. And the time with her will most likely be way, way cheaper than paying girls by the hour at casas or off websites..The 500 K is the "pre-paid" or the expensive of food, traveling expense? Sounds good but that college girl is still a "pre-paid", right?

But what you will miss out on are many hidden extras that you only get when a girl has a good time in your company. I've had girls wanting to stay the night at no extra cost but plenty of extra sex, girls hanging out for hours just chilling and fucking, again no extra cost, girls doing many extra 'services' for no extra cost that were not agreed before hand but they wanted to do because they enjoyed the vibe and were having a nice time. You can absolutely pay for all this but that way always feels a lot more mechanical to me, having a girl get ready to leave then unzip your trousers to give you one last impromptu blow job before she heads out is a hell of a lot better than giving her 50 k to do it..You let them stay overnight, you aren't afraid of them steal from you? First of all, not all drugs are the same. Heroin is not penicillin. Oxygen is a drug. Water will kill you if you drink too much from hyponatremia, among other electrolyte imbalances. That is some pretty heavy duty environmental influence leading to bias.

If I spend the equivalent of $250 USD to spend an entire day and night with a cute college girl, going out and having fun in and out of the bedroom, that's awesome. $250 USD will get you nowhere in the US, that's the way I see it.

Call me superstitious when I travel or maybe I've just watched too many movies. But when you're getting substances from people you don't know and giving them to people you don't really know Bad things can happen. You can tell the police whatever you want and they're going to accuse you of it anyway. So get ready to fork some serious cash.

Bought my tickets, and realized that I'll be flying out of MDE, early Monday morning at 5 am. Are there any locations that do testing on Sunday for the 24 HR requirements?
I couldn't find much information on the airport testing at MDE, is that open 24 hours? Would I be able to get to the airport at 2 in the morning and just get a test there? Thanks in advance.
