She bought our little lot in San Cristobal without my knowledge using money she had saved from what I had given her in the past and her own money from TikTok (she's back on TikTok, after getting kicked off for the third time for being the little minx that she is, jaja).
Yesterday, I got boots on the ground to inspect the property with her and I was overwhelmingly and happily surprised with what Catgirl had wrought. A new lower strata development went on the market with about 30 lots, and they were snatched up in three days. I am using the term "development" loosely. Folks are already out there building their own structures with their own hands inside the taped off lots. She discovered the lot by line of sight because it is very near the mountainside mega-apartment complex where she lives now and grew up. By a fluke, we got the best lot in the development even though there were only four left by the time she bought it.
The other buyers were scared off by a little ramshackle cinder block structure that was already on our postage stamp sized lot. But in fact, we are on the dramatic high point, and at the entrance, or what would be called "Lot #1" of the development, if you were comparing this to the US of A, except it's not comparable, jaja. To raze the little cement box that is already there will take next to nothing in time and effort. She did great.
Catgirl is already calling this build our "second house on the mountain" referring to the ongoing construction of our house in the country on top of the mountain, three hours north of Medellin. Except this time, our "mountain" is a little bump of land in San Cristobal, about a 15 minute moto ride from where I am staying now at The Nutti in El Centro.
This is not going to be the honey-haven for all my novias that I initially thought, because there simply is not enough space to build a structure that size. But we are going to build up, two stories, and if all goes as "planned" which it rarely does in Medellin, this house could be completed by the time or during my next return trip to Magic Medellin. This is not Poblado or Laureles, this is one of the poorer agricultural sections of Medellin, and I love it.
This is also on the checklist for Catgirl's life dream, to own a house, as she has been bounced around among different apartments and rooms her entire life, often against her will. Heck, since I met her in 2019, she has probably lived with all her belongings in nine different places.
The happiness and joy on Catgirl's face over this is indescribable. Of course, that makes me the happiest I an possibly be, too. Life is good.

But for the record, I am taking everyone off my Ignore List, which I was using mainly as a time management device to keep me from getting sucked into the meaningless circular debates that are so prevalent here. I had half the frequent fliers here on my Ignore List and it was getting silly when I logged on sometimes and saw so many blocked messages.
I have decided for now, that's my issue and not anyone else's. I need to learn more self-control, so I will try to turn this into a positive.
And like any woman's prerogative, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time and for any reason, jajaja.

The tunnel is the standard route. From time to time the tunnel may be closed for various reasons, including accidents as another poster mentioned. This applies to cabs, ubers, and all other modes of transport.From the airport to MDE, through 3 different tunnels, some with stops, including transfer stops along the way, others not. One time, the bus driver even altered the route to get me The Nutti when I was the last one on the bus, mighty nice of him. I know when people say "the tunnel" which one they mean, but that it not the only tunnel.
No one here, including me, has ever posted a total accurate grasp or picture of what goes on with transportation from the airport to MDE. As usual, it's a lot harder to know what you don't know, than what you do know. We all like to pretend we know more than we do.

That is not correct. I have been to Medellin three times this year. Each time the bus from the airport went through the tunnel. One time, going to the airport, the bus took the long route because of an accident in the tunnel.Of the thousands of bus trips made from the airport to MDE each year, your three examples speaks for all of them.

Poblado is popular with tourists, Provenza has plenty of nightlife and coffee shops to mingle with locals too. Lleras park is surrounded by bars and nightclubs with hustlers trying to get you to come inside to spend, I didn't go for it. Many other rooftops appeal to upscale customers, like Sky Bar, I visited the place and thought it was a nice spot to bring a date. Restaurants are plenty as well, Rocoto was a good pick for Peruvian food, I saw some mongers or sugar daddies catering to their girls there. If I'm back in Medellin I will stay in the Energy Living building again, to me it was worth the price and girls loved taking pictures from the balcony.

Any issues bringing in girls?Poblado is the whole area including Provenza, Manila, Parque Lleras, etc. It is one of the comunas of Medellin, and covers area with a population of over 100,000. That only matters when you are trying to find something, or give a cabbie an address or direct him to somewhere. Saying Poblado is a bit too general for that, for example. Parque Lleras includes the area around the physical park, and a couple of blocks on one side, and taxis will generally drop you off somewhere or anywhere in that area unless you can tell them specifically what part.
Freckle, my 18 year-old little honey pot, and the chica with whom I spent my first five nights here this trip at her hotel writes me this morning (while Catgirl was still here), "I have no where to stay and I have not eaten. I need $200 USD to go back to Peru this Thursday. You can do what you want with me tonight if you can give me this money".

I don't think she can hold a spot on my List if she is not even in the fucking country, but only time will tell. No reason to shake things up when I am leaving, too. Want to stay in the heart of the action but want a hotel that is guest friendly. Any recommendations?
I spent the first couple of weeks of July in Medellin. I stayed at the Nuti and spent a lot of time in El Centro. The weather was beautiful and it seemed like it only rained during the very late night or pre-dawn hours during my trip.
I visited some of the casas in the area for the first time. I strongly recommend going around that 2 PM sweet spot that others have mentioned. I visited one of the more popular ones close to 5 and they said everyone was occupied. Later in the day, you'll also run into many people sitting in the viewing area or having a drink. I also have a feeling those areas may be a bit deserted late at night. Here's a quick personal ranking:
1) Sexy Amigas. Visited three or four times. Lineup around 10 chicas. 5-8 range. Paid the fee twice, paid the cover once, good first session, so-so second.
2) Zandaly. Visited a couple of times. Lineup around 10 chicas. 5-7 range. Paid the fee once, paid the cover once. Good session.
3) New Life. Visited a couple of times. Lineup around 10 chicas. 5-7 range. Paid the cover every time. Madame spoke good English.
4) Yakusa. Visited twice. Lineup of around 8 chicas. 4-6 range. Wasn't charged a cover.
5) Masajes Aiffe. Visited once. Lineup of 1 chica. Wasn't charged a cover.
I think the casa pricing is pretty fair, with any cover / viewing fee being effectively nothing. The price at a casa starting at 55 k or so for a half hour actually tracks pretty much with paying for a streetwalker out of El Centro. I think the new normal El Centro "gringo" rate is closer to a 40 k average asking rate plus anywhere from 8 k-17 k for a room. Casas are of course much safer than a SW at a love motel.
I still found El Centro to be not unreasonably dangerous the hours I ventured through, from 8 AM - 9 PM. Everything starts shutting down and clearing out around 8 PM-ish, but there's enough foot traffic to feel relatively safe. The small stretch of Calle 53 north of the park has enough foot traffic late night that visiting either of the strip clubs there after 9 PM isn't too bad. As a side note, I enjoyed the street food vendors on that block (see photos). And the area "behind" Nuti heading to and from Barra Ejecutiva is safe enough after midnight too.
And one of the highlights of my trip was actually running into Osteoknot in Hotel Nutibarra. I found him to be very much like how his posts read online. If you enjoy his posts, you'll probably enjoy his company too. I do and did. I hope to run into him again on my next trip.
As often describes my situation I seem to have the world by the tail and IDK WTF is going on at the same time. I started getting those Emails about "Are you ready for your trip?" from the airline a little too early I thought, so I check and yes indeed, I am leaving Tuesday, not Thursday as I have been telling everyone all along, including Catgirl and all my novias, the past week or so.
This sort of screws the unlimited-sex-until-I-leave, I had negotiated with Freckle, but that was not such a big deal. All her belongings are in my hotel room (last foto), which is normally every dude's nightmare but I can handle it. As far as I am concerned she earned her commission the first day and night. Sup dudes, be* you asked for stories so I have a story for you (from tonight). This story actually doesn't involve sex (within the timeframe at least). Sorry it's so long but I'm drunk and just letting it al out.
It's currently 5:30 am in Medellin and I'm drinking a stella in my hotel room to cool down from all this.
The night starts off very chill, with me texting steve about haircuts and shit. I decided to lay low for the night because I have a 3 pm threesome lined up for tomorrow (with the same girls I had my first threesome ever with yesterday, we scheduled a 2nd round for tomorrow (Sunday / Domingo) at their hotel where they have a jacuzzi on the 2nd floor and will only charge me 100 k COP (about $22) for each of them. There 's a club called "Fase 2" in Medellin which is basically like a stripclub / *****house. I get there and it's lame as fuck. The host escorts me upstairs to a booth by myself where I can watch the strip dancer from eh 2nd floor alone. Then a girl (missing or indented a tooth) comes and sits next to me. I buy her a drink and my shot and her beer plus her drink ends up being 1/3 of my nightly budget. (about 30 USD). She asks me if I want to go to a room with her and quotes me 300 K COP which is INSANE for a girl here (I could get a hot facebook girl for the entire night at that price) so I told her no, and that I'the give her 50 k to make out with me for 5 minutes (I even set a timer). She started kissing me but then started speaking to me in spanish and kept talking, so I told her that if I wanted to practice my Spanish I would talk to my cab driver, so she said she "had to go to the bathroom" and then disappeared.
I then peaced out of that shit club and went to an area called park llueras, where I wanted to meet a chick just to say bye (The black morticia adams chick from the pics I sent you). Although we were both in lleras park (about a 3 block radius) it took about 30 minutes for us to meet, and I had already had In my head "50 k to make out for a while" but she complicated that by being with her friend and not being chill to talk / kiss for a minute (I wasn't looking for sex tonight due to having had a hour with a streetwalker and also wanting to save a bit for my 3 soe tomorrow)/.
After her whiny friend drew her away from me, I waked to a nearby area called provenza (where I sent the pics of me eating nachos solo by myself last night). They both laughed it off and I fist bumped the dude and was on my way.
About 5 more minutes walking back toward park lleras, 2 girls came to me and asked me if they could come with me. I was already in the 3 some mindset so was like why not. They wanted to come to my hotel but my place is like $25 per girl that I bring back, so I told them we had to find a different hotel. They said they knew one (most Colombian pros know of places to go for an hour) and would only charge me 50 k COP per person. We're in the taxi and one of them starts blowing me (the cab driver even moved his seat forward) and then she stops and I'm like WTF why have we been in a cab for 15 minutes. I then remember that the "Colombian duo of girls drugging foreigners with scopolamine" is a thing, so I'm like oh fuck why have I been in the cab for so long. I ultimately end up paying the cab driver a lot, then dipping, then running away from the girls (making sure my phone, ID, and debit card are with me) to find another cab and get TF home.
I get in a new cab and tell him I live in "Poblado" which in theory should be max 10 minutes away. This motherfucker starts driving insanely fast and I start seeing a view of the entire city so I'm like WHY THE FUCK WAS I JUST DRINKING 10 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOTEL AND NOW AM GETTING A AIRPORT VIEW! The taxi driver asks me if I want some of his beer (he has a can next to him) and I tell him no and get paranoid as fuck that maybe he's in on it with the 2 chicas.
The dudes speeding down the road, and suddenly the car in front of him brakes and he REAR ENDS HARD the dude in front of him. I had opted to sit in the shotgun position with him with a seatbelt (the default in Colombia is the backseat with no seat belt, thank god I didn't do that), and after the car accident happens, I literally just run out of the cab across the median. One of the nice things about Medellin is all the medians are civered in trees and greenery (I guess that's why they call in Medellin) and I walked to the other side of the highway and dove into a cab just happening to drive the other direction.
It was some old man with like most of his fingers gone. Drunkenly, in Spanish, I started screaming [Non-English text deleted by Admin] (in a nutshell, I just got in a cab accident, my phone battery's dead, I need to get to poblado, I can tip you).
Ultimately this old man with like 2 fingers was very chill about me yelling at him. The total cab fee ended up being like 20 k pesos Colombians but I gave him 40 just for being so helpful.
Absolute disaster of a night. I'm still kinda drunk and am going to crash now. The Viagra plus the stress of tonight should make for a really fun threesome tomorrow (2nd round with the girls from the other day),.

One of the biggest bullshit emotions or attributes especially in Christian western culture is humility. If you think about it, to be humble, you first have to believe that you are exceptional. Golda Meier said it best, "Don't be so humble, you are not that great" and this is what I believe.
I am somewhat a product of the transactional analysis book by Thomas Anthony Harris, "I'm OK, You're OK" and this is how I really feel. I don't believe myself to be that much better or any worse than anyone else, and I think the same of others too, once you weed out the serial killers and child molesters, jajajajaja. That's not so much more really, especially if it's after a very long flight or if you are on a tight schedule. Shared colectivo taxis and the bus aren't nearly as comfortable as a private ride of course.
Last March I paid 90 mil for a ride to poblado.

I like the Nuti a lot. My first trip I stayed on La 70, in Parque Lleras (the park was undergoing renovations), and at the Nuti. My second trip I stayed at the Nuti only. It's just so centrally located that its biggest drawbacks of perceived safety and aging façade / interior are tolerable. The value is unparalleled at under $25 a night and the service at the Nuti is above average too.
On a side note, I suspect they renovating from the top floor (10th) down. The higher up, the better and more expensive the rooms. Tourists will be on six up. On the 4th floor appear to be mostly locals (and medical outpatients? The rooms on the 4th floor are much more basic (CRT TV level basic). If you have the option for a higher floor, take it. The differences are minor though. For example, on my room on the sixth floor, I had two fabric side chairs and table. In the rooms on seven and eight, I saw a long leather bench instead of the two chairs. The central light fixture of the room was fancier on higher floors too. TV, fridge, beds, and the rest appeared to be the same between six, seven, and eight. The the higher floors might have been painted more recently too.
Yes, you can pay more for a nicer hotel, in a better neighborhood, with better restaurants for dinner nearby. But given that I found myself travelling back to that general area pretty much every day, so just staying in that general area made sense. Once you've made that decision, I think Nuti is an acceptable choice. As a huge red flag and in the interests of full disclosure, on my first trip I heard of people complaining of pests but I didn't see anything and they did pass through to spray. This trip I actually saw (and killed) a roach once in my room in the two weeks I was there. I saw roaches elsewhere in the hotel too.
Again, at $25 a night, I'm willing to put up with it.

Being back in Medellin is truly a blast. I had a blast hanging out with Nounce and we hung out in Park Botero over the weekend. The EPM notices I saw were very vague, maybe somebody better understands. I just can't believe an entire City's supply could be shut down for so long. So I asked one of my Chicas about this, and she said about six years the water was shutdown to the entire City, which I just can't believe. Perhaps Knowledge or other old timers know, just doesn't sound plausible, but maybe not so much with things that happened in the US.From what I know having spent time in Latin American countries many decades ago, this type of water shutdown is normal. Homes are built with tanks that hold a lot of water for this type of issue, I'm not sure if this is common in Medellin too. Thanks to the forum I've got a basic plan down.
I plan on going to MDE for a week in late August.
I'll take a White cab from the airport to the hotel.
I plan on staying at Hotel Poblado Alejandria Carrera. It looks nice and I think is guest friendly.

I thought about posting up in Rionegro or Guarne but I decided to just suck it up and lay low for the weekend. I've written about it before but I tell them I'll help with their expenses vs asking them how much for sex. You can ask how much they think they'll need for expenses or "gastos" if you want an exact amount, which I often do. This is more subtle, fits with Colombian culture and gender roles, and leaves a lot of plausible deniability on all parts. I prefer to take this approach and look for non to semipros because you can get more genuine sex without time limits, "polvos", or "extras". I also enjoy the flirtation and conquest of progressing a date to sex (though I may be appealing to my own vanity).

This could really cramp your style, if you think about it in terms of mongering, as some guys might be having half a dozen ratos normally on a weekend, and with no running water. I suppose it would be okay if you were staying somewhere with a private pool and spa.

In going going assume you already know, but I'll post it here for others, the Carulla on Calle 10 where it meets Transversal Inferior (carrera 30) carries cuts of USDA stamped meat that look good for grilling (bot dry aged of course but from USA.Unfortunately all the USDA stamped meat that both Carullia and EXiTO carry is all choice, not prime beef and expensive of course. It's all labeled Certified 100% Angus Beef which means nothing as far as grade. And I consider this meat, which seems to be offered in a lot of eating places kind of like Jose Cuervo Tequilla. Two brands with great marketing, but shitty products.
I've looked long and far for prime cuts of USDA beef in Medellin, but have yet to encounter it, and I've looked at JUMBO as well, besides local butcher shops. And Price Smart carry's USDA beef as well but it's not prime. I've also tried some cuts of meat from Argentina and Uruguay which can be found in the three major markets I mentioned. Yet the issue always boils down to how much fat is in the meat, and all of the meats are super lean, so I usually stick with the rib eyes because they have some fat. So when I want to BBQ steaks, I just order a 2 kilogram package of Rib Eyes thru Rappi.
Now if I could only find Russet potatoes here, but they do occasionally have Brussel sprouts. LOL.

I think you still have to buy a magnetic card to use the Metro. If so, you can use that card to ride the trains and the Metro buses. You can add money to that card just like the Civica card, but only at a Metro station. The Civica card offers a few others things, like renting bicycles, but you probably wouldn't use those.

You can ride the Metro without a card but you have to stand in line to buy a ticket.When I was there last you got your card but you could put as much on it as you wanted, up to some limit, not sure. Stand in line, get your card but put 20 or 30 mil on it, that way you won't have to line up again for however many times the money lasts. Then if you see the line is short sometime when it is getting low recharge it again. That was not the civica card, just the regular one that is equivalent to a ticket.
