I do not post much, but I read a lot.
I recently stayed at the Mansion (CB1) and had a great time. The barbeque last Sunday (2/12) was fantastic. I met many nice people (guys and gals alike. But I am only interested in the gals. No flaming). Thanks Cindy, Alexa, Greg, and Robert. The girls there were fantastic. Beautiful selection. I wish I was younger and could enjoy more than 3 in one day.

I went to this joint about three years ago, and took a girl out, and paid a barfine. I forget how much it was. After that I went there again, but did not take anyone as it was weak in selections. My question is it appears to me that these girls come in from all over MDE after working in strip clubs, and other areas, so I would think they are freelancers. They really don't work there. They sent a driver that charged 70, 000 pesos. I got a driver at night that took me to several stip clubs. The driver charged 30, 000 pesos per hour. I went to casas during the day. Cindy at the mansion arranged for several girls to come to my room. All the girls she got were on point. Boyd at CB2 is and excellent and will help you with anything.

Hotel Alemeda is a good choice $140 a night (69ish bucks) the have a mini fridge, and no chica fee if she out in under two hours or if you call ahead to the front desk an explain that you are going to watch a "movie" and she's not going to spend the night.

It is typically quieter, with quieter dudes. The afternoon gathering of women takes place downhill at CB1 however. So if you want to go down to participate in the gathering, and you are staying in CB2, you have to walk down. No problem, just a fact. Cindy is available at CB2 to request the company of any one of more than a hundred women, if you want to do it that way.

I am wondering where the best quality (9's. 10's) could be found. I understand that with quality tends to come price, however, once again, I am splurging on myself while there for 4 or 5 days.

I think you will find the women in Medellin to be incredibly beautiful. You can go to any of the "massage" places and you will find 7-10s easily. Fase Dos is OK. But there are better ones. If this is your first time, you may want to hook up with Robert. Who rents rooms. When I was there several years ago, he was a great host and was very helpful. Esp. Since I don't speak Spanish. i visited colombia last month and asked a few questions and got helpful advice from board members before i left. here are some bits and pieces that might help others.
i put in a lot of work on cc before i left with mixed results. was contacted by many women but i found it hard to work out who was prepago and who wasn't. a few i thought who were abruptly broke of contact when i said that i had been contacted by a second women who wanted to meet and i got a very angry response from one who suggested i bring a 'ring' when i answered that i could bring some money instead! i guess i insulted her by suggesting she was a puta.
anyhow i narrowed the list down to about 6 but only ended up meeting two. one in santa marta and another in medellin and was stood up in bucamaranga. the santa marta girl was hot, hot, hot but a scammer although a dumb one at that – i would happily have paid her well to spend the night with me but she had so many other guys happening on the phone etc that she could hardly fit me in. and then gave me the 'mother sick' game rather than come to the hotel (hotel betoma in rodadero) as promised. i returned the favour by texting on the way to the airport that i had some presents and money that she needed to pick up. 'unfortunately' she didn't get the text until it was too late.
overall santa marta as others have said is a great jumping off point for tayrona which is absolutely a must see but limited opportunities for p4p. rodadero is very much a couples and families place and i encountered few single women that were approachable (though my spanish is poor). taganga is a big backpackers scene and 55 year old guys like me finish second best with the hot girls.
in medellin i met another cc girl who came straight to the hotel and we went out to eat and then she wanted to take me to her house. this sounds like a dumb thing to do i know but i felt ok with her. anyhow, a long journey up the hill in a dirt poor neighborhood had me wondering if perhaps this was not a good idea but i never really had any worries – maybe that was just my ignorance. after meeting her kids etc we came back to the hotel and she banged my brains out for a small cash gift and a few cosmetics. the others on my cc list i just couldn't be arsed doing the work with because there were plenty of other hotties i was enjoying.
i stayed in mayorista which was fine – no probs with safety although there was a shooting in my hotel a few days before i got there. found some gems on the street and some hard cases too but obeyed the rule of never taking two street girls to my hotel room at once, so things were fine but i met a dude who got taken very badly ($us1200) after being drugged by a two girl team from mayorista.
basically i paid them about 50-70 k for a few hours but extra if i did anal. most of the girls performed best when powdered up and it is a minimal extra investment (5 k for a few lines) that i didn't worry. overall i aimed to treat all the girls well, made sure they came first, gave them some small presents and it paid off the vast majority of the time with good experiences and trust and later friendliness. one girl i fell in love with for worked me for a fool but nothing ventured nothing gained. i can move on.
other days i rode the metro and did girls at central casas and again found some gems that i invited back to the hotel on later days. one in particular was a natural dom though claimed never to have done that before but was better than any dom professional i have ever had and at about 10% of the price. i had a list of casas from the board but found that there were plenty of guys handing out flyers on the street and so went to those rather than try and navigate to a particular place. casas come and go it seems and so do the girls and i figured a 'bird in the hand etc'. i tended to be out of centro at nightfall. overall a good approach but every extra spanish phrase you have will give you a better experience. i regretted my laziness in not doing more lessons before i came.
not much else to add. i spent time doing other things – e. g tayrona, (i walked in on my first trip a year ago but this time i took a speedboat – a hard trip in big seas. walking was much nicer!) and rafting in sangil – which made the trip a lot more enjoyable than just hunting pussy. strongly recommend getting out and doing similar and it helps re-charge the batteries in the middle of a trip.

Thanks for a very entertaining report. I took many trips to this kind of neighborhood before and never had any problems just as long as you're with a paisa. I think of it as an opportunity to 'recharge the battery', take a break from the pussy, watch the non-pros, spot some gems, explore Medellin. It can only do you good.

Mango's, Medellin's most famous club among tourists, has closed its doors "to reinvent itself," local newspaper El Colombiano reported Monday.
Club owner Jorge Lopez told the newspaper that the surprise closing is not definite and Mango's will open in a new location in a few months.
According to Lopez, the wild west-themed club had trouble competing with other clubs that were offering discounts."We can't do that because we have 140 employees. We pay dancers and all that gets very expensive," said the owner to the newspaper.
Lopez reportedly also blamed the closing on foreigners who "took up the habit of arriving with three or four pretty girls to show off while others proposed to dancers and employees or were trying to conquer other visitors' girlfriends," the paper said.

I think what complaint was that Gringos were bringing in their working girls and this attracted other working girls who made the "Normal" Colombian girls feel uncomfortable so this caused a shift in their clientele. You know it became a working girl house / night club.

Today I ventured to Zandaly (Z) and New Life (NL).

I need to say that I did not walk round several casas before choosing but rather just decided if any girls I liked in the places I visited (prioritised by Matt Psyche's most recent "grades").

As my bus from Armenia pulled into Medellin, the skies opened, leaving giving me a little while to firm up my plans for the city as my November 2010 trip wound down. My lodging plans were thrown into a bit of disarray when I called Casa Blanca and learned that (due to my own fault) I didn't have a booking. It actually didn't mind too much, since I generally prefer staying in a city center than a more suburban area. And Centro happened to be where the casas were. Of course, the budget lodging options there were not stellar, but Hotel Nuevo Samaritano where I stayed (Cra 45 / El Palo between Calle 45 and 46) was just decent enough for the price and centrally located – most casas were walkable from there. I probably at least passed most of the casas on the map, finding some closed, declining the girls offered at others, and doing sessions at four of them.
I spent the next three days pursuing a mix of culture (museums, churches, etc.) and pussy. Continuing my update from time in Medellin last week. Both trips below were ones I initially thought were going to be disappointing but ended well so my advice to other newbies would be to stick around for a couple of beers rather than letting first impressions dictate your actions.
Went to Mayorista on Friday evening around 9. 30. Followed the advice to jump in a cab to get there (again for other newbies whose Spanish is bad / learned in Spain it is pronounced as if it is Majorista). Pretty crowded and plenty of girls (and local punters) but very few attractive ones in my opinion having wandered up and down the strip twice. Felt safe in that area but would not want to go walking too far from the strip (and does not seem any need to do that. Plenty of taxis lined up for when you want to head back). Sat down and had a couple of beers (cheap) and people watched to see if anything better would come along. Fine on your own but would be much more fun location if you went with 1 or 2 others. More likely to take your time. Spotted one negra that I liked and she was laughing around with some of the girls and having a good time. Got her over for a drink. Last day went to Energy and OM Spa. Will write those up later today or tomorrow when I get a chance.

This trip report comes from a 2nd time traveler to Medellin, Colombia. I will proceed to give detailed and valid information on my entire trip in hopes to assist other 'first timers / newbie's' with their decision to Medellin, Colombia.
A 2nd trip to paradise, Medellin, Colombia. The weather felt good as I exited the taxi and landed at Casa Blanca 1. I was greeted with smiles from the staff, as check-in was relatively effortless. My accommodations were cozy and the room had everything expected. I unpacked my belongings, and went off to the Oviedo Mall for supplies.
March Exchange rate (1. 00usd to 1, 810 pesos)
Where to exchange money:
1. Holiday Inn Hotel ATM – The hotel has a private ATM withdrawal area located to the left lobby area of the Burger King and directly before the entry way into the hotel's front desk. The atm area permits you to 'close and lock' the door for secured privacy. Total amount allowed to withdraw is 400, 000 pesos (200+USD). (Located on the main traffic avenue. 1 block in front of CB1) (Great for nighttime use 24hrs)
2. Citi Bank ATM – Located across the street and ½ block right from the Holiday Inn Hotel (approx 4 min walk from CB1)
• Permits up to 1, 000, 000 pesos per transaction or roughly $500. 00+ USD.
• Great use for large withdrawals, but after the fee's it comes out to roughly 1, 650-1, 700 pesos per dollar.
3. Cambio Exchange- Several cash money exchange places are located in the Oviedo Mall. I exchanged money at the far left outside portion of the mall area for $1 USD to 1, 810 pesos (March rates). Make sure to bring a copy of your passport, because some exchange places now require a photo I'd and additionally the teller may ask to scan a fingerprint. This is due to the increasing risk of fake bills being passed. Not all require, but some may. Good time to go is after 11AM.
Overall, I would recommend bringing a mixture of cash and credit. I would use more cash as the exchange rate currently through the ATMs can truly diminish your purchasing power over a week's vacation. During my last trip a few months ago the exchange rate was $1USD to 1, 850 pesos. I noticed the dollar weakening to the peso, while prices remained consistent or in some cases rose higher.
In addition, I also heard from others that Charles Schwab, Federal Credit Unions, and Navy Credit Unions are good options to avoid additional foreign bank fees. Big reminder, always contact your bank when traveling abroad. This is to avoid your bank believing your card has been stolen when it doesn't recognize your destination in another country. (Bring extra cash with you be / see "shit happens)". Dollars are King.
Pharmacy:
1. Located directly across the main avenue (down hill) , when leaving CB1. To the left of Office Depot and the Juan Valdez Coffee shop. I believe they're open until 8-9pm.
2. Located directly next to the outside Cambio Exchange places at the Oviedo Mall.
Both of these pharmacies are convenient to guests staying at CB1 and 2.
*Cialis works like a champion. The average cost during my trip was 31k or $17 bucks for 20MG (1) pill. Take the pill about 20-30 minutes prior and your good to go.
* I had terrible results with Sildenafil 'NP' 50 MG. It's the generic form of Viagra and packed with 2 pills. The cost is 5, 400 pesos or 3 bucks. (Leave these alone, as they're sugar pills in my opinion).
*I had better luck with Sildenafil 'MK' 50 MG on a previous trip, cost is 5, 700. (2 pills included, with better results). I didn't discover the pharmacies provided different 'Sildenafil's' until my last day. I thought all were the same, until a closer look at the labels.
Where to purchase a phone to keep in contact with chicas:
1. I prefer 'Tigo' located on the 2nd floor above the food court in the Oviedo Mall. Ask any security guard for exact directions. I bought a normal $20. 00usd mobile and it came with minutes as well. The associates are pleasant and patient. They even use the computer to translate Spanish to English to make sure everything is understood. Again bring a copy of your passport. To dial the USA from Colombia the code is 004141, then the area code and USA.
Supplies and Groceries:
1. Located on the basement floor on the Oviedo Mall. It's a Walgreens size area where mostly everything can be found. From Mixers, plastic cups, red bull, chips, bottled water, soaps etc.
You're better off purchasing your liquor from the duty free shop in the USA, not in Colombia. Favorites I saw with the chicas are: Jose Cuervo, Absolute, and Bailey's. Normally I buy one bottle for the chica's to share, and one bottled for me.
Taxis:
I had no problem with daytime or nighttime travel throughout the entire city. All taxis drivers were nice and pleasant. However, I do recommend using a 'hired taxi' if this is your first trip to Medellin, Colombia.
Casa Blanca has a person by the name of Fernando who is great. His rates are a bit pricey, but he knows the city, the chicas, and the establishments. He's a great tour guide for nighttime activities and possesses a nice 4x4 reliable vehicle, which can hold a 7-8 people. My suggestions: get 3-5 guys together, hire Fernando through the front desk, and spilt the cost for 3-4 hours of entertainment. The service is well worth it and you won't regret your 1st night in Medellin.
Yellow Taxi's start at 2, 400 pesos. An average trip to central casas / discos / San Diego / Mayo will run 7k. 10k ($4-7 dollars each way) from CB1 area.
Airport Transportation:
Taxi: Casa Blanca can arrange this service at a fee of around $40. 00 USD each way, paid to the taxi driver. The hired airport taxis are very comfortable. It takes roughly 40-45 minutes to arrive in Medellin. If it's a clear afternoon, you'll be amazed by the view arriving into the city. If you're traveling at night, you'll probably be scared shitless, if this is your first trip and believe the American media. LOL. No worries though. The Casa Blanca location is very safe and secure, as you will be located in the wealthiest areas of Medellin. Just utilize common sense and leave the gold jewelry, watches, and earrings at home.
Street Taxi: Check the "current rates" in the taxi windshield. It's located on the left passenger side. It's 55k standard one way to the airport. You can negotiate anything. I took the taxi for 50k.
Airport Buses: 'Combuses' are white buses located outside of the arrivals, at the airport. Just ask any agent. They're small 20 person buses. They will take you from the airport to Central Medellin and drop you off at the backside of the Hotel Nutibara, which is in close proximity to the famous Parque Botero.
The buses run from 6:00AM-10:00PM. The cost is 7, 500 pesos ($4 bucks). The transit time is about 60-80 minutes as it takes you through North Medellin. I would not use this service when landing at night. Central Medellin can be a rough area, and a foreigner carrying bags is an easy mark. This option is recommended during the day, without hesitation, for the adventurer. The buses don't run on a timely basis. You must wait until the bus is 85%+ full, and then it will leave. The buses are comfortable and the people riding from the airport were nice and pleasant. No issues and a great savings if taken advantage of. Not recommended if you're in a rush.
Cialis, That is a ridiculous price to pay. The generic is much much cheaper. Try to get Kamagra, liquid Viagra 7 packets in a box. Instant hard on.
Many girls actually have liquid silicone injected in their butts, especially from Cali. It is illegal in most countries and can cause serious side effects, but it makes for a spectacular butt which is soft. Please see attached front and back photos.
If you get a gold account at CitiBank, in the atm you receive the interbank exchange rate and no atm fees. Please check your exchange rate. I do not think it was near 1. 81. Probably closer to 1. 75-1. 77.
With respect to cell phones if you have yours unlocked you can buy a local chip wherever you travel both Movistar and Comcel are good.

The buses run from 6:00AM-10:00PM. The cost is 7, 500 pesos ($4 bucks). The transit time is about 60-80 minutes as it takes you through North Medellin. I would not use this service when landing at night. Central Medellin can be a rough area, and a foreigner carrying bags is an easy mark. This option is recommended during the day, without hesitation, for the adventurer. The buses don't run on a timely basis. You must wait until the bus is 85%+ full, and then it will leave. The buses are comfortable and the people riding from the airport were nice and pleasant. No issues and a great savings if taken advantage of. I am a bit clueless what is all this fuss about Geraldine. Last I saw her back in October she had gained at least 10 pounds more then what she should have to look hot in any book of Mongering. Matt Psyche's recent post prompted me to finalise an update on my time on Medellin a few weeks ago. Now back in UK but planning next trip to Colombia and so I also have a couple of questions.
Visited Energy on a Monday morning on Matt's recommendation. It is definitely situated in a nicer area and much nicer premises than the Centro casas. Could be a gentle intro to the Medellin scene if money is not a priority. Not sure if it was just my taste or the fact that it was relatively early (pre-lunchtime) on a Monday but of the 6 or 7 girls presented I was only really interested in 1 but I did like her look a lot so this was not a problem in the end. Name was Natalia. Blonde, pale. 5'6, a little chubby but pretty face and good body. She was friendly and fun in the room. CBJ but afterwards good variety and experience. Total cost was COP 98k + 10k tip (possibly tip not required in these more upmarket places?). Would repeat and had I met her before my last day this is a girl I would have tried to get a number from for a follow up meeting. Having a nice room and environment also made the experience better for me.
Having organised a late checkout I was also able to visit OM Spa that afternoon (also called Exclusively for Men in previous posts) before my flight. It is on the 3rd or 4th Floor of the Centro Commercial Rio Sur mall (next to the Hard Rock Cafe at southern end of Poblado). The reason I write about this is because previous posts indicated that this was legit massage only but as it was very convenient to where I was staying I did not mind checking this out. Especially as I also needed a massage after lots of running and walking. Cost of COP 70k. Its a nice venue with a super-hot receptionist (dressed provocatively but apparently not providing massages. Personally she was one of the best looking girls I saw in Colombia so I would have paid a lot to be massaged by her). Actual massage was carried about by a short, pretty girl with big breasts (but not fat so also nice legs, bum). Based on where her hands wandered I was convinced there would be a happy ending but despite a fairly erotic massage (and reasonable regular massage) she finished with no sign of more. After some direct questioning and agreeing a pretty hefty tip of COP 50k she agreed to a HJ and to be fair also took off her top and involved some DFK by the end. (Would definitely have seen her again but probably outside the venue if I was sticking around). You may think that total cost of COP 120k does for a rub and tug does not compare with the casas but for me in terms of location convenience and quality of girl and venue I was pretty happy. The girl was super paranoid about the management not knowing about extras so I would be discrete about what you are looking for and other girls there may not offer this so go in with your eyes open.
A couple of questions I had for planning a future trip are whether Medellin is a good place to do a 2 week intensive Spanish course (with extra lessons from the girls in the evening of course) and where I am more likely to find older women in their late 20s to late 30s (most of the girls I met in the casas were under 25 and I tend to prefer them older). There are definitely attractive older women out and about in the city so I am guessing this must cross over to some extent into the P4P arena?
Overall had a great time in Medellin and stayed longer than I intended. The information on the forum for Medellin is really well organised and hugely helpful so thanks again for that. Finally, I wished I had spent 2 or 3 days in CB 1 or 2. Prefer to travel independently but I think it may have been a good intro and a slightly different experience to the cases. Possibly more of a GFE albeit at a slightly higher price. I will correct that next time round.
I can not imagine staying in Centro. Simply. Night time is not safe there and day-time (looks safe but.) alone is not ideal either. Why not stay in a nice area and take a $2 taxi ride? Closest (1 mile) good area is Sandiego (. Grill is right there, Fas Dos very near) or the near-by Premium plaza mall area. Why take a girl home from a club at night when you can do it there? Never been Loutron or Fase Dos but I thought Sandiego Grill had some legit 10's. (Price; $130K includes BBBJ.) I mean tall, clasy look, full 3-D figure, and pretty. Fun crowd there also. 6. Buy spirits / smoke from Duty free shops at airport.
7. Personally I am not a big reader. To kill time on plane I am going to get iPad games like Kingdom Rush, new Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, where's my water. Yes I am juvenile that way.
After I get there.
1. Blend in if possible. I am a gringo on the inside but a brown skinned east indian dude on the outside. In HDR, The security used to pat me down while letting my wingman just walk by.
2. Carry wallet in front & Be aware of your surroundings just like you would on any new area.
3. Get a cell phone (need to do more research on this)
My Challenges.
1. No Spanish. From what I read this going to seriously degrade my experience. I am going to use Google translate app & I will be taking few classes between now & my trip but I doubt I will be able to converse at all. At least I will learn something for my future trips.
2. Traveling alone & staying in a private apartment. I don't know how I will work around this. Casa's by the Day & Escorts by the night? TLN's is my thing.

I would like to have access to the huge numbers of working girls the Mansion has available but the party atmosphere and ruckus would not work for me. My friend. No need to worry go out and enjoy. Medellin is much better then any third world country. I could easily compare Medellin to KL in Malaysia or even Singapore. Only difference you need basic Spanish. Staying at the apartment will be trouble some as to even if you have the girls phone numbers how will you talk to them about coming over. Purchase a phone from Oviedo Mall. I hope you are at least staying in Poblado area.

3. Brush up on Spanish. If no Spanish try taking a 2-4 week intensive course. Check your local community colleges they have cheap classes or you can get a tutor from craigslist or wyzant.
4. I skipped Mansion for a private apartment from Barry. I could have used the brotherhood atmosphere but I have to work for few hours a day and need a quiet and private place.
5. I have spoken to Medellin Paisa to be my guide & Jimmy for airport pickup & any rides in general.
6. Buy spirits / smoke from Duty free shops at airport.
7. Personally I am not a big reader. To kill time on plane I am going to get iPad games like Kingdom Rush, new Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, where's my water. Yes I am juvenile that way.
After I get there.
1. Blend in if possible. I am a gringo on the inside but a brown skinned east indian dude on the outside. In HDR, The security used to pat me down while letting my wingman just walk by.
2. Carry wallet in front & Be aware of your surroundings just like you would on any new area.
3. Get a cell phone (need to do more research on this)
My Challenges.
1. No Spanish. From what I read this going to seriously degrade my experience. I am going to use Google translate app & I will be taking few classes between now & my trip but I doubt I will be able to converse at all. At least I will learn something for my future trips.

Just got back from Colombia after an 8 day trip. We were 4 buddies who wanted to play golf and have some fun on the side. We were unable to make arrangements of Golf in Medellin so for the first leg of the trip we were in Bogota (4 days) primarily for golf. The weather was crappy and it rained every day. Luckily we were playing in a course about 20 miles out of town and up in the hills. Beautiful course and we avoided rain most of the time during our play. Not much girl action in Bogota as we did not venture out much. Our limitations was that none of us were fluent in Spanish and could barely get across the cab guys and caddy's (The Google translator app is flaky at best). I have been to Costa Rica couple of times and never had the language issue like we faced in Bogota. We were staying in a private apartment on 92 Ave and it was in a very upscale neighborhood. We did go down to a strip joint close by which was very high end and had waterfall and Jacuzzi built into the dancing floor (forget the name). Two of my buddies picked up girls from there for TLN. Between the drinks, bar fine and extras to the girls, it came to about $300 each. (Yeah, I know). We also visited a MP (supposed to be the most upscale in Bogota). It was clean, nice rooms and had 8-10 girl line up. I think it was 150K pesos for a FS massage.
So what we missed in Bogota, we made it up in Medellin. Landed at 6 PM in Medellin (after playing a quick round of golf in Bogota) and got received by Jimmy and Medellin Paisa (MP) at the airport. The idea was to rest that night and start action the next day. That all changed during the drive from the Airport to Casa Loma (Barry's Mafioso style pad) with MP laying out the options. By 9 PM that night we had 7-8 girls ringing the door bell of our apartment. By 11 PM the party was in full swing and the biggest problem we faced was "Which one to choose?". Eventually everyone made their choices and I ended up with two crazy lesbians (story for another day). That was the start and it was party every night for the next 4 days. MP was with us for 4 days and it was a boon to have him around. We also ventured out to tour Medellin and used the Metro more than once. Let me say this. They are cleaner and more efficient then NY subway and the crowd was far more friendly. Walked the streets of Santa Domingo and sat on road side restaurants to have a bite. Never once felt threatened or unsafe. I wish we knew Spanish so that we could interact better with the locals / chicas there.
To sum it up, it was a great trip and having the right connections helped us non Spanish speaking guys, have a blast in Colombia. Forums like these help a lot in making the right decisions and I thank everyone for their contribution here.

More than anything (sex, dining, etc) , take care of your health. I would have a flu shot before you go. Many people catch cold / flu in Medellin. Gargle a lot at the airports and in town. The air in Medellin is extremely dirty with unregulated car emission. Also I would avoid uncooked vegetables and fruits. Be careful of even cooked fish, too.I read that malaria is getting back hitting badly after years, even in town, because of marshes surrounding the city. I'd ask the doctor about prophylaxis before taking the plane.

There are no cases of malaria or the even existence of swamps in or around Medellin.
Not quite sure where you got your info but I think that you are referring to places along the Coast of Colombia at lower altitudes like Cartagena & Santa Marta where there has been a rise in cases of Dengue. Health issues should not be your concern when traveling to Medellin (besides practicing SAFE_SEX!).

Unfortunately it was Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of Semana Santa and I plain forgot about the religous importance of those days and how slow it would be in the city.
I know, what a dummy.
On Thursday, almost everything was closed, and on Friday everything was closed.
Fortunately, I had been talking to a girl on RL. We met up on Wednesday, hit it off well, and she kept me company for the rest of my stay. Great fun!
I even tried to 'help her out' with a few pesos, but contrary to popular belief (including my own) , not all RL chicas are prepagos and/or gold diggers, as she would only accept taxi fare.

Medellin.
Alot of people have been asking about Medellin so I thought I would post my first visit there in 2010. My loyalty is to the DR and my fellow posters so this is appropiate.
Medellin:
Started the day with a two hour morning walk. The fresh air after a rain, along with the uphill walks, give the lungs a needed boost.
Woke the fellas up at noon for our field trip. After a 17min down hill walk arrived at Poblado metro station. Paid the 3k fare and headed to San Antonio station. On the metro we stand out like a crooked titty. I'm in brown loafers, light brown jeans, brown laren polo shirt, and fake Versace sunglasses. Upon arrival at SA, walked out of the metro into an open air flea market. Fresh fruit, shoes, hats, cell phone minutes etc. Beautiful women everywhere. A few guys get something to eat while I people watch. It seems Colombian people are very focused and on a mission. No taking your time and bullshitting around like in the DR. After a couple hours there returned to the house, killed a couple Heinekens and watched latin videos on channel 79.
Met the fellas at Parque Lleras, a place called Cacao. It was a corner lot and great for sight seeing. They also had a live band. Two Cuba Libres cost 19kcop.
Mayorista:
Left Cacao's at 11pm in a taxi. A few minutes later we made a right to go under an overpass. To my left I see two homeless people. To my right I see two tricks in a dark corner. The two cabs emptied and we paid 7k to each driver. The air was no longer fresh. I see seedy hotels with sinister people lurking around. The girls had battle scars, tight hoochie outfits, shit I even saw a couple grandma's tricking. We were now in the gutter, but I'm a gutter guy.
Next to Playa hotel is a disco called Ver something. Reggaeton music was playing, with limited lighting. There appeared to be one way in and one way out. Because of this I grabbed a table outside for now. Ray is a New york born but now living in Miami, Puerto Rican. He speaks the best spanish and is fearless. He goes in with the other guys, then comes and gets us. He picks two tables in the center but I see two tables against the wall that are better. Everyone has a seat but Ray, who is acting like our security guard. We tell him the play doesn't call for that and he chills. I got Paoula's number for a backup later. After a couple hours we leave and head to Sandiego strip club.
Sandiego grill:
At Sandiego, the bosses watch the girls like hawks. Natalie finishes dancing and asks me for a propina. I give her a 10k note and some of my rum. After a couple hours of drinking and watching Natalie, I tell her to take my number and call me tomorrow for an afternoon delight. She says no and pushes my phone away from her. My boy then whispers to me that the girls are being watched. She reaches under the table and I pass her my phone. She disappears into the bathroom for ten minutes. I'm glad I didn't have any valuable numbers on it. Well the club is closing and were there waiting for a couple guys to finish fucking. The lights came on in the club reminding us to get the fuck out. We finally leave and I see six dancers huddled up like they were calling a football play. I move to say good night to Natalie, but my boy stops me and said the game is on and my girl was playing. We leave in our two cabs never looking at the girls. Fifteen minutes after we arrive home the taxis with the girls arrive. They ask us to pay the taxis and we all retire. There was no break in period, these girls were running their play and the clock was ticking. Great sex, BBBJ, mish, doggie, and reverse cg. Natalies pale white skin with pink erect nipples still excites me. After sex I fell asleep only to be awaken by steady knocking. I thought I had her till I wanted her to go, but Miss Quarterback was retrieving her team. I gave Natalie two 50mil notes and made plans for later. I had originally scheduled to leave earlier in the week due to Semana Santa, but found that finding companionship was not going to be a problem. I surveyed my favorite girls and ones I wanted to meet during this trip, the week before, to discover about 50% of them were going to be on a no-sexo vacation Thu / Fri. So while many things (Casas, strip clubs) were closed, there was more than enough open for food and drink, and plenty of companionship to keep my days occupied. Both days were really nice days to travel around the city because there was minimal traffic! So the moral to this story is: You can still have fun in Medellin during Semana Santa, but you would be wise to plan ahead and make sure who is available for fun and who is not. I had zero problem finding something to help me sleep!

I never even ventured further down the road from the Castillo than Parque Lleras for that reason. I did however go wandering around the el Estadio area on Friday, con chica tour guide, just to look the area over for future retirement planning purposes. Plenty of room on the metro, and minimal traffic to deal with. And while most things were closed, mi amiga why yo found plenty of options for food and drink. The moral for semana santa is as you said; plan ahead and you will be fine! I can only imagine what el centro looked and felt like. LOL

I don't even know if what I did would actually classify me as a monger. But I love the word. Ha ha ha. And yeah in Colombia, I have only done a small portion of that tiny bit if you know what I mean. Now I do speak spanish and fluently, but I still went to the Mansion on my first trip but only stayed there for 3days as I learned a lot from a couple of experienced mongors and since my spanish was good I decided to rent an apartment at the poblado and flew solo and had a fantastic time and been back several trips since then.
One great plus from staying in el mansion is that Boyd has a great map of the casas en el centro. I got a copy from him before I went solo. Thanks Boyd! Get that map but still go there with the old timers. Go with the old timers over going with Boyd, he seems at times impatient with the newbies on field trips.
I won't personally date the girls from the mansion (they are on a call list with photos available to view) again only because they ask for too much money IMHO. Now again, if you don't speak Espanol then they may in fact be your best experience for your first trip as they are really pretty and come with almost a since of guarantee since they been tried and proven. The staff can give you advice. I only fucked one girl and honostly the fuck was "Mechanically" great but still too much. But again for a newbie, you learn from those experiences.

John.I must respectfully disagree that the Mansion (I. E. CB1 / CB2) is the only option for the first-time visitor to Medellin. Lots of things have changed down here in Medallo in the past year. Perhaps TweedleD or Legal Tender can enlighten some of the Medellin newbies as to current affairs in the City of Eternal Spring!
