I'm really thinking of a trip to Guayaquil. Other than hunting prey I look to go to a beach. How far, and are the beaches nice? I already checked, and the water temp averages around 81 degrees.

Only had one full day in Guayaquil on my way to the Galapagos Islands, and wanted something that would be dependable and easy during the daytime. After reading everything here (thank you contributors), I decided that the best option would be Haren Spa, and I believe I made the right choice.

Everyone who works at Haren only speaks Spanish. It's good if you can say the basic necessities, but I'm sure you can use Google Translate if you are extremely limited in Spanish capabilities. Either way, I suggest sending the manager a WhatsApp message. Their contact info is on their website. The manager will text you the menu options and prices, along with hours and location. (As others have mentioned, Haren Spa is located on a U2 inspired street with no name. The google maps pin is very close though, and if you enter Haren Spa in the Uber app, it will take you right in front, across the street.).

I popped in at 2 pm on a Wednesday. There were 7 girls available, and two were my type: skinny / petite, pretty-faced, and not too old. 1) all places close at midnight, or 2 am on weekends, including "discotecas" without working girls but at least beers to drink.
2) places with girls worth to be visited were really few: El Gato, Impero, Salome'. Are they still open? Prices were $20 in El Gato and Impero, $12 in Salome'.
3) La 18 was a place to visit, but 10 years ago, not now. Last time I went there, it was fully controlled by police, no more crimes and fights, but also boring. Ecuatorians seem to appreciate mechanical service provided in 10 minutes. Wham bam thank you madam. For $12 if I am not wrong.
4) Street action poor and limited to 2-3 ladies on Av. Octubre. Nothing I would partake.
5) The mythical chongos on La Perimetral? Too dangerous, the people says, and really low-end.

It was around 15 minutes at night from Malecon area to the club. Around the club, there were street walkers, and I saw one that was smoking hot. I went into the club, and there was a stage or floor to dance on. The setup was typical, kind of low end type club. It closed early, I think around midnight. Many dancers stay in hotel next door. I know OTC is available, and I would be surprised if much of it didn't go on in said hotel.

In general, I have found Ecuadorans to be prettier than Peruvians, but I really wasn't seeing much I liked then I happened upon a 20 year old Colombian. Yowzuh! Club setup is such that you go upstairs and get a room. I think it's like $25 for the room and the fee for the girl is $40 or so. Everything was covered with her though so I passed. It would have been interesting to see how much the street walker was because outside of the Colombian, she was the best I saw.

The ONLY cuties that I encountered during my 2 week travel through Ecuador a few months back were either Colombians or Venezuelans, it was so bad that I focused my visit to sightseeing only and waited until returned to Colombia to party with the chicas, and party I did.

Why Guayaquil? I've never been and I also wanted to take a side trip to the Galapagos Islands.

First and foremost, I want to thank World Travel 69 for his excellent map. There was very little information that I found, but World Travel 69's map was golden! I always try to update his maps whenever I visit the countries. This trip, I did my best, but did not get a chance to visit each bar / club because I was sick for a few days.

Logistics:

Flight:
You can get coach flights out of San Diego for around $1,210 and change. OK, on soapbox time: So, we are flying at normal altitude and all the window shades are closed. Most people are napping or sleeping and things are going well.

Then, the plane hits a little turbulence and for whatever fucking reason, there are always 3 to 4 damn idiots that open their window shade to look outside for what caused the turbulence. WTF? Do they really think we hit a flock of geese at 33,000 fucking feet in the air? If you are one of these clowns; enough! OK, off soapbox.

Logging:
I rented a nice two bedroom apartment on Airbnb for $85 per night. The place had a great view and my host was superb.

Weather:
The weather was in the 80's during the day, but there was an overcast almost every day, so it did not seem so hot.

Trip / Medical Insurance:
I paid $88.45 for the entire 14 days from the company World Nomads.

Money:
The currency is in US dollars. You rarely see any one dollar bills, but instead, they have one-dollar gold looking coins. Also, they like to give you change with two-dollar bills and silver dollar coins.

Getting around town:
From the airport and back was around 5 to 7 dollars.

I rarely used taxis during my stay. When I was in a hurry, I used a few taxis; they were dirt cheap. Even cheaper, I used Uber most of the time. But, the Ubers I used, only took cash.

Language:
Very few chicas, taxi drivers, and restaurant workers knew how to speak anything but Spanish. I struggled a bit, but that was part of the fun of exploring a different country.

Communication:
I have the T-Mobile North American plan. My plan gave me unlimited data at 2 G speed, calls at 20 cents per minute and free texts. Thus, I started using WhatsApp on my regular phone. I started chatting with my apartment host before I left. As long as I had a WiFi signal, WhatsApp was free of charge. I was chatting on WhatsApp, Facebook, and Skype; including video calls for no charge whatsoever.

Where and what I ate in Gualaquil. First off, if you are seeking great chow, Ecuador should not be your first stop! I really did not have a lot of time to eat at restaurants; too busy running the streets naked. But there were a few places with good to very good food:

Hotel Oro Verde (2) - Both dishes were very good!
Resaca. The food sucked!
La Preferida. Tradition food. Good.
Trattoria de Pippo. Good pasta dish.
Lo Nuestro. Tradition food. Very good.
La Canoa (2) - Tradition food. Very good.
Street food in front of Club El Puente. Very good.

Beware, many of the restaurants add a 10% service fee (tipping fee) into the check balance. Thus, you can adjust accordingly.

The Venues:
First off, I'm not a big casa / spa type person. But I was determined to hit every club on the map.

I was also determined to gather as much information as possible. In each bar / club / venue, I asked several questions and did my best to write the answers on my trusty note pad. As each night went on, the more I drank. Thus, if I am wrong with any of my notes, feel free to correct me. The fichas were various prices, I am quoting the lowest ficha price.

I don't drink beer or whisky, so in many of the places, I was shit out of luck. Some places offered shots of rum and tequila, which I could live with. Otherwise, I just had a tasty bottle of water; sad, huh? I will mention my favorite places at the end of my club listings.

First, let's talk about the bars around Parque Centenario:

Club Boricua.
La Bambina.
Cabo Rojena.
La Penita.
Planta Baja.

I went into everyone of them and this is my take: Everyone of them are hostess bars. Which means, you buy drinks, dance, and enjoy the company of chunky ass women; and that's it! I asked in each bar if there was a "take out" option and they all had a good laugh at my expense; so be it.

The only active sex club near Parque Centenario is Salome:

We went there around 3 PM. Imperio is still located exactly where it says on the map. There was a $2 cover charge which included a beer. It was quite a site to see. A very large space, a small platform, presumably for exotic dancers in the center, and then 3 walls covered with numbered doors, each one with a chica standing in front (unless they were working), about 32 in all. Lots of men sitting at tables drinking their cerveza, looking at the girls. I have visited much of Latin America but never Ecuador.

The reason I chose this new area for me was mainly my wish to jump thru as few hoops as possible. My having my vaccination card was good enough to get me in the country.

Aside from the easy entry requirements my reading of and the photos from Doombringer321 caused me to after contacting him to make a two week trip there. For the purpose of this post I will now use the name Doom to refer to him.

The trip started off very bad. Once on the plane we were told by the captain that in GYE there is a problem with volcanic ash from a previous eruption. I think it was about 3 hours sitting there till we were told the wind blew the stuff away from the airport. The 3 hours wait was worse as we were not sure we would get clearance to take off that night. *.

I was told I should expect to pay 4 or 5 dollars for a taxi to my hotel. The airport is very close to the city, and they use the American dollar in the country. The first 3 guys wanted 8 dollars. 3 bucks is not a big deal to me but I did not feel like getting taken so quickly so I found a driver a few yards away from the main taxi guys and he took me for 6 bucks. Funny as he got near the hotel he told me this was a bad area. I thought to myself I like to be in bad areas. The hotel was called Tropical Inn and was close to the river. *.

The next morning Doom appeared at the hotel. We had had many conversations*already on Whatsapp so we* kind of knew each other already.

BTW if there is anyone out there who does not know this Whatsapp is a must for travel. Everyone uses it. Doom first gets the hotel to reduce the fee from $25 a night to $22 and then begins to show me the city and all the things I need to know. This can not be stressed enough. When in a new city it is imperative to have someone with boots on the ground who can show you the ropes. Of course if you don't mind stumbling around wasting money than go it on you own stone cold. Back to Doom. This man has a presence that is hard to describe. I noticed that all the locals show him respect. He is rather an imposing figure and his being a former marine I guess is part of it. He has a friend called Wilson who can get you anything you need. He shows you photos and they are not fake. $40 is the price tag for about a hour. Funny one of the things I like to do is go to the bars were the girls will*entertain you with dances for the price of $5 drinks. This place was one block from my hotel. The start of some of the bad things that happened was after I went there one night it got raided the next day and was closed for the rest of the time I was there. The other problems that happened was a 8 PM curfew but much worse was on Saturday and Sunday a complete lock down. No restaurants or what was worse no supermarkets were open. Doom saved the day by having a place send me food to my hotel. The meals were either 3 or 4 bucks. Only good thing was no one stopped me from walking around on those days or I would of went nuts.

Another disappointment*was we went to a casa called Gatos. This was Dooms best place but when we got there the women said come back later. When we returned we were told they would not open for the near future.

We then went to a place called 10 and eight or 108. If you have ever been to the Troc in Lima then it is the same type of place. One difference is this is a courtyard which is open to the sun were as the Troc in Lima is indoors. Maybe around 30 to 40 girls standing around and at least 10 very doable. $15 for 15 minutes as I was told. The girls in GYE have mostly light skin color. Speaking of the women while at the airport I had close to me 2 stunners. From my experience*here the women here are just as pretty as in MDE.

I became friends with Doom and had two great meals at his home with his great family. He would see me every day and helped me with everything. I went to a beauty shop and got a haircut, shave a pedicure and my beard dyed. Are you ready for this? Total cost for all 4 things was $13. They would not allow tipping. What a shame as this beautiful young girls worked on my feet with loving care.

All said and done GYE is in my opinion a good spot to visit for a new experience.

First off to return to the USA I needed a negative test. I got the Antigen: Rapid. It was done in the morning and I got the results after 3 PM the same day.

I got a hard copy for $35. The airline informed me that I needed a Mandatory health declaration form before exiting GYE. This was a joke as people who did not know of the form were trying to complete it before we landed. No one wanted this form when I landed in FLL.

The other day a monger from this site came to Ecuador because he was doing a layover to the Galapagos, you know where people go see gigantic turtles, not my cup of tea but some people like it. We went down to Isla del Tesoro but it was having a slow night remember this weekend was a long holiday in Ecuador, even though I saved the owner bringing him in clientele that only saved me from having to pay the entrance fee, it did not save me from the increasing level of entitlement that these sex workers are getting back in the pandemic they would start negotiations at 80 and go as low as 60, now they start negotiations at 120 so these women are getting entitled.

A monger who is out in Galapagos took me to a 6th floor Airbnb it was great, it's a bit expensive is $30 a day however there is a doorman on the first floor from Monday through Saturday and it's got Wifi I made a youtube video about it PM me for the info.

"Turtle man" finally reporting in from my trip to Ecuador. First, a big thank you to Doom for being such a gracious host for my time in Guay. Highly recommend meeting up with him for his local knowledge.

Now for the report. I did two stints in Guay, one before and one after my trip to see turtles. On my arrival I sessioned with 2 girls, one in my apartment and one at the Madame's. Both were fine and as advertised. The Madame's girl gave especially good service. I was a bit unlucky as it turned out to be a holiday weekend when I arrived and that meant options were a bit more limited than normal. Fortunately I am a pretty broad minded monger. Navigating the scene without Dooms help would have been difficult. Ecuador isn't like Brazil or Korea or either places where it's fairly easy to navigate yourself. Connections are key.

I did go to Isla but it was the night if my arrival where I had had a red eye. There are definitely strong lookeds there and that was on a fairly lightly attended night. I just wasn't in the mood for long negotiations and for some reason the girls were all starting high. I was really looking forward to going back when I was more rested and game for the normal hunt but I ended up hooking up with an SA contact the night I wouldnhave had free before my departure. But I would definitely recommend it as there were plenty of girls there I would easily pull for the $80-100 price you can get with a little patience. Doom also knows some more ghetto places if that is your jam.

Guay as a city I really liked. You can stay in the nice parts of town very reasonably. I had no problem bringing girls into the Airbnb or luxury apartments or boutique hotels I stayed in. Plenty of good food and drink options.

I would definitely recommend Ecuador and Guay as an off the beaten path mongering destinations that is reasonably priced and with enough variety and options to be worth the time.

Yesterday, I was chilling with my homie from ISG, we hit up several spots we first started by going to the world-famous "Imperio" so "gringo loco" and I get inside the place has changed significantly no more "high end" next door place open the area where the restaurant used to be is no a COVID testing center for the sex workers and it's now open till 10 PM.
