Well, I'm Ecuador and I was there for about 2 weeks. Boy, is this a quiet forum !
If you're looking for escorts, buy the "El Diario Extra" where there are few classified ads ranging from low end ($20-35).
Cheap escorts-
I've tried numerous escorts from the agencies throughout my years living in Gye. and to be quite honest, they're not the best-sometimes you can get lucky. I usually describe what I like in a girl (I'm not demanding) and they usually send me a completely diferent girl. eg. I requested two canela(brown) skin girls and they send two black girls. Some agencies do not have a full selection of girls, but I will list the agencies I tried.
Anyway, the girls are usually between 4-7, coming from very poor backgrounds and have limited education. Depending the agency, they quote a basic full service fee between $20-35 for an hour and half service. Most girls don't look at the time, but this rate is just for one fuck and for an 1 1/2 hours, that's all. some are exceptions.
Usually they are open to requests for no additional money - showering with her, BBBJ, etc. The majority of them refused anal sex and the ones who were into anal, required an additional payment (some requested $30 more as an example).
Also, when phoning in, let's say after 12 pm, and you want a girl to go to your place located located outside the centro(midtown), they'll automatically say no or require you to give out the phone number so they could call you back and verify it's not a hoax. I was calling from El Norte(North) of the city, it's 15 minutes away from where these agencies are located in the Centro. Also, another problem is that after 12 pm, the managers (usually guys) go with the girls to the place and wait for them outside your hotel/house in case of a problem. And even I've had experiences where they expect the girls to collect the payment first and hand the money to them before they enter your place. What a hassle.

I just returned from Guyaquil, Ecuador and wanted to let folks know that there is a lot of sport fuckin there. All of the locations are well known by the taxis. I lived in Guayaquil Ecuador from 1994 to 1996. Last month (Aug/2003) I went back for a short trip to visit friends.
I stayed at the Hotel Kennedy (http://www.hotelkennedy.com.ec/html/ingles), very well located, US$ 75.00 the night and no questions (or fees) to bring visitors up to the room. The Hotel format is apartments, with a small living room, kitchenette and a bedroom.
During the night, my friend and myself went out for a night in the city.
We ended up at a strip club called La Isla del Tesoro (Treasure Island), web site http://isladeltesoro.cjb.net/
The place is very well located, they charge a US$ 10.00 cover (currency in Ecuador is the US dollar, so no hassle with exchanging money), and the covers includes two drinks.
We watched the show for about one hour, nice and hot Latinas. When we made up our minds, we asked the waiter to bring two nice girls to our table, we bought a drink to them (about US$ 10 each) and started negotiating so they come with us to my room.
At the end, we ended at US$ 130.00 each, US$ 30 for the strip joint, and US$ 100.00 for the girls. Price included all treats, full services and as much as the body can take.

Sorry for not posting my mongering experiences in Guayaquil, but I've so busy with work that I rarely get time to check online.
To be honest, Guayaquil is not a monger paradise and worst of all, it's very expensive if you want to hook up with beauties. The cheapest fuck is about $2-5 in lower class neighborhoods, but don't take a risk going there as you will either 1) get robbed 2) assaulted or both.
Eg. La Isla de Tesoro. The cover is $10 and if you're going in a group, pay up the $60 for the group and it includes a bottle ( we chose a bottle of vodka). Beer selection is limited to Club Verde for $2 ( I can't remember)
This place is the best strip club in Guayaquil, as far as selection of girls (on average 30-50) and has heavy security. They won't quote prices for lap dances, but it's expected to hand them $1 or $2 per lap dance, which consists of you doing anything you like. You can touch them anywhere !
Girls do quote $100 for salidas, but the average Ecuadorean doesn't pay those ridiculous amounts. By the end of the night, and if you're lucky to find the girl you want (most likely you will spot them because they rarely get to leave with $100 quotes), you can negotiate for $60+
Also, this place has a private booth (they call it sala VIP) where you need to pay up $35 for a private dance and other services. I was quoted repeatedly $50 for CBJ plus $35 for the sala. Not worth it !
Anyway, one experience which I recall vividly was taking a girl from this strip club ( cannot remember her name, but I think it was Cristal) and she agreed to go with us (4 guys) for $150.
I was first, she managed to do BBBJ and sex was great, we spent 45 minutes together. My friends were getting impacient. :)
Anyway, she stayed with us for a while, listening to music and then we decided to go for breakfast. She and I were going to hook up later, but I didn't manage to see her again because I met another girl (non pro) who was my companion for the reminder of my trip.
Also, I went to another other strip club, which was seedy but great to pick up girls for lower prices. On average, I got quoted $30-40 for an hour service. BBBJ is standard. The friends I hung out mentioned how this place is not great for someone who doesn't look the part or is going alone. He's right !! This is my first post to the WSG Forum and I would like to thank all the members who post to the Forum. I have hobbied in Rio, Sao Paulo, Puerto Plata, and most recently, Guayaquil. I also enjoy AMPs in Northern New Jersey and Go-Go bars in Newark. My only regret is that until recently I was unaware of the Forum and have had to rely on my own devices to facilitate my hobbying.
I spent most of August and the first week of September in Ecuador with most of my time in Guayaquil. My mongering was limited by my family being in Ecuador with me. However, I did find some time to sample some pro and amateur action.
Pro Guayquil:
Me and my bother-in-law/business partner/compadre and native Ecuadorean visted a Go-Go bar/club in the center city on four occasions. The exact location is on Panama with the closet cross street being Junin. It is a two minute walk to the malecon from there. The club does not have any signs but can be indentified by the two to three men in suits who stand in front of the entrance. Unfortunately, I can not identify the club by name as their was no signage in or out of the club.
The entrance fee was $5 on three of the nights we visted. One night it was $10 but included two mixed drinks. After paying the fee we walked down a steep flight of stairs and passed another security guard at the bottom of the stairs.
There is a standard go-go set up at the front of the club with a U-shaped stage with chairs around it. To the left and the right of the stage are sitting booths. Toward the back of the club are clusters of oversized chairs and loveseats. A small bar is located on the right towards the back. Coronas are $3 , mixed drinks $5, Drinks for the ladies are $6. The waiters are polite, efficient and bring back your change promptly.
Everytime we were there was around 20 to 25 chicas hanging around. The chicas are in the 6 to 9 range with a mean of 7. for the most part the chicas are dressed in regular street clothes. The chicas always outnumber the local businees types who frequent the club. The best looking chicas also dance on the stage. My understanding is that they are paid extra to dance They are all available for either inhouse are take-out. Even though one chica told me that she picks and chooses.
The entrance to the in house rooms is located by the bar. A women escorts you and the chica in. She gives you towels and condoms. I would tip her $2 which entitled me to three condoms and an extra towel. Their is a good size sittting area as you enter the room section which I never saw utilized. The rooms are good sized with a full size bed, a nighttable and a closet with hooks to hang your clothes. Not the Ritz but passable. Their is one bathroom shared by all four rooms. The bathroom has a shower with enough room for two. I know this from personal experience.
I utilized the in house rooms on three occasions. All three times I was quoted the gringo price of $100 an hour. When I was done laughing I would offer $60 for 3 hours, I paid $80 for three hours on all occasions. My Ecuadorean friend told me that the house gets $30 from the chicas.
I will continue this report later with my specifics on the chicas I used and the availibility of amatuer action.

First time on Ecuador board. I was there few months ago, did some incall and one strip club. I found these two great places. One was called Gatos, the other was Imperium. They are next to each other. Like a cat house, many doors, each girl has own room. Small, but good enough. The chicks were hot and it was cheap. I don't remember the price, but will let you know when I go back. Its about a 30 min taxi from center of city. No gringos were seen there. I look hispanic and I speak a little. I had a driver who I paid to stay with me. I will post some photos of my last trip.

Markets. Go to the handycraft Market downtown. Dont remember de address.. There you can find painting, vases, fabrics, etc.
Theatres. Not unless you speak spanish.

I need some help. I have gone to Ecuador for the last 3 weeks and have been going to Salinas. I have a gf there. I love the area and the beach is nice. But I need to know where the action is. My GF said that there is a place where men go in the area. Of course I did not ask her where. I have gone 3 times to Salinas in the last month. I had found Imperium and Gatos on a previous trip to Guyaquil, but I need to figure out how to get there. It is 1 and a half hours from Salinas to Guyaquil.

I just came back from Guayaquil and I think I'm starting to like the city afterall. :)
During my trip my friends and I hit two strip clubs- Imperio and The Place. And as always I went to La Isla de Tesoro, which I've covered already in an earlier post.
Imperio (it's in Duran, a 15 minute ride outside of Guayaquil and costs $8 ) Closes at 3 am other days they close at 4 am.
We arrived there at 12 am on Sunday, the place is a two level building. The main level was closed but the upper level (which is labeled VIP) was open and the entrance cost is $5. From what I understand the main level is mainstream and cheaper, apparently you can get a girl for $5-10. While the upper level is VIP ( I think it's because a lot of the girls are Colombianas). For the $5 entrance fee you get a ticket for two drinks. Btw, if you're going with other people you can combine 4 tickets to get a bottle of vodka. The only beer available is Club Verde ($2.50)
The place is ok and decent, and if you look around, aside from the beautiful colombianas, you'll see a lot of security personnel. Anyway, from the time we got there until we left, you'll see only a one girl strip show( I hope it's not like that on other nights).
That night there were 18 girls, mainly Colombianas and some were 6-8. One good thing is that girls here didn't bother us while watching the show and enjoying our drinks. After getting settled, we called over some girls that were the hottest ones there. I managed to get Tatiana from Colombia. This girl is good looking. Again, the girls are very laid back and they like socializing instead of putting pressure to get a room. The girls wanted to hook up later to smoke marijuana. My last night and I had to return to pack.

The reason I don't like this place is because you get a variety of prices and sometimes they don't budge, regardless of time. I guess they are used to asking $60-80 and those are prices at La Isla de Tesoro. At this place my max is $40. I was able to get Sofia, this 5'4" and petite girl. I have no idea about action in Salinas, but you're best bet would be to ask the taxi drivers for info. I doubt you will find any decent places in Salinas, as this beach resort is only popular between Dec- Apr.

Ok, it's me again. Still looking for the information on salinas, or any area near there. I did import a girl from guayaquil, it ended up costing me 100usd per day for three days. The last trip oneweek ago was girlfriend only. (ok did one pfp but that was in guyaquil ) I am going again this monday. I have another girl lined up. Well I recently spent 8 days in Guayaquil Ecuador. Oh, yeah thanks for the valuable advice... The First night I stood at the Oro Verde Hotel. It was about $100 a night and its similar to your average Ramada Inn (I did not care for it). The remainder of my trip I spent at the Hotel Sol Oriente, located on the corner of Aguirre and Escobedo, in the downtown section of Guayaquil. It was great, and it only cost $30 a night. The rooms were large, clean, and had ac (this place is similar to Hotel Parador in Panama or Travelodge in the US, except that the rooms are much larger). I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area.
The average cab ride is between $2 and $4 dollars depending on where you are going. I only paid $4 when I was traveling from the Down Town Malecon area to the airport.
I did enjoy my time in Guayaquil because, there is lots to do. There are great beaches, restaurants, museums, internet cafes, ect.
Now to the important part, The Ladies:
I went to Imperio and Gatos both had about 10 gals most were not very attractive but, they did have a few lookers. Since, I was with a freind and we did not stay at either place very long I never asked any gal about prices.
The Place is a strip joint in the downtown area on Avenida Junin. The night I went there they only had about 12 gals and they were all fat and ugly. However, some of you pig fuckers might enjoy this place. Thus, if you are a pig fucker, and ewe all know who you are, check it out.
My favorite place was La Isla Del Tesoro (Treasure Island) it was great. They have over 15 gals all young all very hot. Most of the gals are from Ecuador however, one gal I talked to was from Brazil (very hot 19yrs old and will do anything you ask). The rates are reasonable they charge a $5 cover, beers were $2 and the gals I talked to all asked for $90 but settled for $60 (i did give each a $5 tip). Most of these gals offered to come to my room during the day for $50 for 1 hr. All and all I think this is a great place to visit. I was told that there were various places throught, the city where one can find street walkers for $20 but, that is not my thing. Thus, I never went to any of those places.
I hope this helps anyone thinking of traveling to Ecuador. I personally will be back and I would encourage all to visit. This country is safe and it has lots to offer.

I highly recommend visiting the Malecon. Its a nice safe place with plenty of security. The Malecon is a nice place to go for a walk, enjoy a good meal, see a movie, or have good ice cream. One of my favorites was La Cocina del Negrito. The place is located in the down town area across the street from the Malecon, where the Naval exibit is located; I can't recall the cross street. A great meal at a very affordable price. La Gran Muraya is also a great restaurant. As for lodging there are some hotels in the downtown area near the Malecon that charge $12-15 a night depending on whether you are willing to pay $1 extra for a TV, Cable, or AC. Of course you can stay at the Gran Hotel de Guayaquil or the Hotel I stayed at for $30-$38 per night. There are a few Museums in the down town are near the Municipal building or you can take a walk up to, i think its called, la Loma de Santa Ana. Its a hill with colrful houses. As you walk up the hill there are various restaurants, cafes, and bars. At the top of the hill there is a small museum and a church. Also, at the Malecon you can take a boat ride on Capt. Morgan's Boat. It looks like the ship from the movie Pirates of the Carabean. Anyway, they take you up and down the coast on a short 1 hr trip. I have been in Guayaquil for about 3 months now. I am in the northern part in a ciudadela called Las Orquideas. Many many girls here, but I have not had any luck. Hi all. Just returned from Ecuador, and had a great time. Again went to Salinas. Salinas, for those who don't know the country is one of the beach areas en Guyas. It is about two and a half hours drive from guayaquil. It is a very nice beach area, and lots of nice looking girls. I have gone there numerous times this year because my fiance lives there. The mongering opportunities are dificult to find, but I did find some.
The two towns near Salinas on the road to Guayaquil, are Libertad and Santa Elena. With the help of a driver named Richard I went to two places. I returned to Via Lactea which is on the road to Santa Elena. The place was jumping. About 10 girls, all hot, ranging from 18 to 25. There were 20 guys there, mostly just sitting and drinking. The girls just sit near the doors to the rooms.
I did two girls at this place. Both were 18 years old. First was a girl named Rosela? She asked for 6usd. Oral was 2usd more. All was covered. Paid 5usd more for anal. All of the girls were thin and hot with nice chests. I did two in this place also. Was asked for 6usd from each but paid up to 20usd for extended service and extras.
I know I overpaid, but I don't think a non Ecuadorian has ever been in these places. The girls were really impressed as well. I will give anyone who wants the drivers number, just im me.

To all mongers suffering from this period of drought that we are living currently in Guayaquil, I have gone to Isla del Tosore during the daytime it was closed by the city probably for not paying for the proper permits or not paying taxes because people here don´t seem to give a shit about prostitution to those who don´t know it was located in front of Modelo Stadium.
I will inform fellow mongers when this establishment will open.
I am back from Ecuador again. I am so happy now. I was there for two weeks in Salinas. Every day I would do two or three hot girls. I would rate them as 8. Similar to what I would get in Costa Rica. To settle the question ounce in for all Isla del Tesoro will not open anytime soon nor anytime in the future, apparently our dear mayor who has presidential aspirations does not appreciate thos types of establishements so the city planners have zoned a ¨ZONA ROSA¨ what it means is in the future when the issues of reliscincing come up for a particular establishment they will be denied the permits and the city will kindly tell them that if they want to continue their activities they will have to go to a special area outside of the city set aside for just that purpose.
This prject is in the works sometime next year don´t know when exactly so keep your ears open.

I just returned from Guayaquil. I went to Isla del Tesoro. It was open. There is talk that it was closed, however, the taxis know how to get in.
We also went to a place in Duran. If you want something inexpensive, this is the place. You have your fun for about 10 dollars and have about 10 girls to choose from. Not my style, but it was definitely fun.

I have an update to tell about the "Zona Rosa" from my earlier posts, the city of Guayaquil has stopped issuing out liscences for strip clubs of any kind.
And will move ahead with the "Zona Rosa" project about Isla del Tesoro I have no idea what the fuck is going on some times is on and off, I do know is by the same owner of a place in downtown that has a tunnel in order to go down. The reason I know is because when I went to Isla del Tesoro one day a security guard gave me the adress to the place in downtown so it's same management.
Anyway I went to a strip club today called Lost gatos same owner as Los gatos that's right next to El imperio over by Daule across the bridge from the city I cannot recall where it's but's it's inside the city.

I have just returned from a two week vacation in guayaquil and salinas again. I love flying via Lan Ecuador, since it is a non stop flight from JFK. The price varies much, so you have to watch it all the time. The price can vary from 400 to 1600 dollars depending on the season.
Again i did not spend too much time in Guayaquil, since my girl is in Salinas. I had much information from my previous trips, and did not even need a driver this time. The day spot for me was in Santa Rosa. It costs only 25 cents to travel the buses here. The bus stops near the municipal building I see in all these areas. It is a blue and white small one room building that the police use. You get off the bus here and walk along the road to the left which boarders a open field. After a five minute walk you will see a yellow building with pilsner written on it. This spot is great. Minimum is 5 girls, with max being 8.
The girls are in rooms which circle the central space. The center is tables and chairs where the men sit and drink. Beer is one dollar for a large Pilsner. The girls sit in front of the rooms wearing very little. I would say the ages ranged from 18 to 25. My favorite, who i did almost every day was Lilly.

La Lactea, as i have reported before, is on the road to Santa Elena. It is a long walk on a dirt road that is pretty deserted. I reconmend a taxi to go there. Here it is open in the day and night, but all days i went there there were no women. After 5pm it costs one dollar to get in, and you get a ticket for a beer. This place has about 15 rooms also. The quality of the girls is slightly higher.
A note on prices. All prices seem to start at six dollars. For ten dollars you can get back door action and oral added on. There seems to be no time limit, but that may be due to the fact that i paid more than the regulars. I would give ten and tell them that if it was great they would get five more.
All these places are in and around the area of Salinas to Santa Elena. Some of the girls i met here also work in Gatos and Imperium which is right outside of Guayaquil in the town of Duran. I did not find anything in the larger town of Libertad, but near the bus station were street walkers who would take you to the local hotel. Their cost was five dollars with three more for the hotel. The quality was very low there.

For those that have enjoyed action on a high scale remember JUNIORS a strip club located by the Modelo Stadium, well it has moved it is no longer by the stadium but it has moved to an area called La Garzota the exact adress and street I don´t remember but a match book I took from the place says C.C Olimpico Local 12 even te taxi drivers don´t know where it is.

But that is only part of the story, my sources tell me that this guy was an Instructor to the Ecuadorian Air Force an advisor to the military in this country and was on his way to see his girlfriend when he got ambushed was forced to drive downtown where this unfortunate incident happened, the police are currently looking for the girlfriend so they can "question" her.
I've read the two mayor newspapers in the country and they seem to "spin" the crime towards 'How come the government hasn't done anything aobut it' that to me would seem to be in direct relation at this city's attempt to get the government to approve a plan that would gaurantee funding for private security companies to participate as a private police force to safeguard the city something which wasn't done in the know exiled administration that plan has now been approved and implemented so we should be seeing more secure streets in the immediate future if not sooner.

An Israel Air force Industries envoy to Ecuador was murdered Thursday during an armed robbery in the coastal town of Guayaquil.
Eyewitnesses claimed 58-year-old Mordechai Pravda entered his rental car at 8 p.m. local time. A black vehicle suddenly pulled up and two men stepped out and smashed the windows of Pravda’s car.
They threatened him and ordered he drive towards downtown Guayaquil, where they forced Pravda to hand over all his money and possessions.
Pravda cooperated and gave them everything he had, except for one of the two necklaces he had around his neck. He told the robbers it was a gift from his father.
However, without responding, one of the men pointed his gun and shot Pravda in the head. Both men fled the scene.
Local residents found Pravda and rushed him over to a local clinic where he was pronounced dead.

Israel’s consul to Guayaquil Galit Efraim told Ynet that South American residents are used to violence on the streets.
“This city has a reputation of being a violent city,” she said. “ It’s the most violent cities in Ecuador with the highest crime rate.

Efraim said that Ecuador has a large Israeli community, made up of mostly businessmen.

I just foung out that last week police came in an apparent sweep on most of of the cities strip clubs looking for irregularities, most working girls in this city got to have their "papers" signed by the health ministry so they can be left alone and continue to work mainly I think it's just an excuse by the ecuadorians to crack down on colombianas.

I stayed at the Sheraton in Guayaquil. There is a small casino, by indian standards, next door. The name is Sahara. I was surprised how easy it was to meet freebies there. Put it on your list for a slow night in Guyaquil.

I stayed a few days last week at Hostal Quil. It's about 10 minutes from the airport, on a main road. The night manager speaks english. The single room was $41 including tax, double room is $51. They will give 15% discount for a weeks stay. Clean, ac, hot water nice bathroom, a room near the main road is somewhat noisy, but there are less noisy if you ask.

If you want something really cheap, you should check these ones out:
* HOTEL DEL RIO, Victor Manuel Rendon y Boyaca (downtown), about $7 or $8 per night I guess.
* HOTEL PLAZA CENTENARIO, just across the street from the Centenario Park (that's where the name comes from hehe), Lorenzo de Garaicoa y Velez, between $10 and $13 per night depending on whether the room has air conditioning or not.
I wouldn't recommend Hotel Velez or Hotel Sander, since they are not girl-friendly.
If you want a better place to stay, although not so girl-friendly, you can stay at Hotel Alexander (Luque y Pedro Moncayo), just one block from Centenario Park. This one would be around $24 per night.
GYE is NOT a city to wander around, especially at night (I have been all over Colombia and GYE is sketchier than ANY Colombian city!). Quito has a bad reputation for muggings but it FEELS reasonably safe (unlike GYE where you need to CONSTANTLY be on guard). There is a reason all the security guards wear bullet proof vests.
In small towns, $5 hotels are around but in the big cities the bottom end places will be VERY insecure IMHO.
The Best Western in downtown GYE is very girl friendly and, with bargaining, is about $30.
I once stayed at a best western in jaco beach costa rica and they wanted $50 to bring up women.They told me that it keeps the numbers down so that they dont have too much criminal activity to deal with.It was all BS to rip tourists off.I reminded the manager many times that prostitution is legal there.

I get to GYE about once a year on business and can assure you the city is not safe. Bogata seems like a walk in the park compared with GYE. My clients always meet me at the airport with bodyguards, take me to a safe hotel, and we ride in armored cars. My take is that GYE can only be done right if you have contacts there who will look out for you.
Do you have family, business or other specific reasons for choosing GYE? If so; I could see why you want to be there. But, it is an ugly, dangerous, hot, industrial city with limited cultural or historical attractions. Compared to the rest of Ecuador housing prices, maid services, etc. are relatively expensive; based on what my clients there complain about.
Pardon me for being so negative. But I would just about rather go anywhere else than GYE. That said, if you have to be there, just "google" the local newspaper want ads for rentals and check with the on-line real estate firms. The only good thing about GYE is that the local girls do actually know how to screw, as they are "costenas"; that is from the coast rather than the more reserved highlands of Ecuador.

I've never been to GYE, so I can't give any information about safety, apartments, etc, but having met and experienced women from GYE and the coast here in Quito, I can honestly say that they are not only better looking than the average Quiteña, but they are much better lays as well. Hell, some of these girls from Quito couldn't screw their way out of a paper bag. And the rest are so Catholic and conservative that they wouldn't give up their pussies to Jesus Christ himself, lol.

Yes, the tourist sites don't give the whole story. Me and the other guys have some pretty harsh things to say about the city. However, given you have a job offer; that is possibly worth considering if it is your "dream" job or close to it.
I have lived in some very dangerous cities like Mexico City, Bogota, etc. and under the right circumstances, with the right ground support, they are livable. For example, if your contacts there at the university could help you locate a safe apartment in a safe neigborhood close to the university and coach you on security measures it might be doable.
However, just to fly in get an apartment, etc. without a lot of local help would be a disaster. This isn't Des Moines, Iowa for example. Only you can make the right call, but I would hate to see you throw away this oportunity if you want it. Be be aware of the risks, learn to protect yourself and possibly get a "security" premium to your paycheck. Plus, the GYE women are a lot of fun. As others here on the board have said the best loving girls come from the coastal areas.

I too have lived in some dangerous cities, such as Joburg, so I know what it is like. But I spent the last 5 years in Bangkok so I need to retrain my thinking to GYE as BKK is a very safe place in the expat areas.
And as you said I just have to be careful. The location of the university is in Samborondon, which I believe is in the north maybe outside GYE.

Went to a hole by the Capwell Stadium about 2 blocks from it,there is a strip club called "Vikingo" with a viking statue up front and all it is a really sleazy place I saw girls picking up 50 cent piece from the stage the girls were about a 5 or less but the were charging like 8 bucks so who can complain.

It seems that this forum has been somewhat inactive. Gonna wake it up again.
For you guys considering the possibility of getting laid in Calle 18 (commonly referred to by locals as "La 18") you'd better forget it. It's definitely not a place for tourists. A year ago or so the local authorities fenced the place and left it with just one entrance (apparently to make it safer). Inside you can see policemen walking around very frequently.
La 18 is basically a block full of places where we can do our business. You'll see some of them are "formal" strip clubs, whereas the others are just rooms rented by independent *****s. In spite of the policemen, outside the fence anything can happen. You'd better not go there. It's located in the southwestern part of the city, which is usually called "El Suburbio," a huge low-class neighborhood. The blocks surrounding it are especially dangerous.
If you want P4P, go to a decent club. La Isla del Tesoro, El Imperio, El Gato (these two are located in Duran) are all good options.

the Best Western right downtown is fine (about $40), BUT it is NOT a city where walking around at night is advcised (the Hotel Guard wears a bulletproof vest.). In fact, GYE is one of the sketchiest cities I have EVER visited (makes Colombian cities feel safe) and I would NOT want to be wandering around looking for a hotel, that is for sure! I only stayed one night because I had an early flight. Salinas is MUCH more pleasant IMHO.

Not to bash the place, But I am VERY curious what "great things" you heard about Guayaquil. Only redeeming feature I found was that the airport is a hell of a lot closer to the coast than Quito! I agree the chicas are better than in Quito but that is not reason enough IMHO to spend more time in GYE. Too hot, too dirty and too dangerous as anything but a way station on the way to the coast.
Like Surfer, I've heard nothing but bad things about GYE as well. And this wasn't just Quiteños, this was even people from GYE that had moved to Quito to get away from there! I know it's suppose to be the most dangerous city in Ecuador, but I've heard it's one of the most dangerous cities in all of South America! How the hell is that even possible? More dangerous than Rio? More dangerous than FARC-controlled villages in Colombia? I almost made a weekend trip down there just to see it for myself lol.

The riverside malecon is safe and can be a pleasant stroll in daytime hours, but the ONLY comparison to Miami would be the heat and humidity! He has got to be kidding (or has not been back to South Beach since the late 80s before it was gentrified).
I am sure you'll be fine if you use good judgment (though taking the bus from Quito could make one wonder-just kidding). For the first night at least, I would try and book that Best Western to have something set up for after that gruelling

1 suggestion: go to Brookstone and splurge $20 on the battery powered fan you can hang around your neck. The air pollution, heat and humidity in GYE are truly oppressive (and will make you miss Quito's cool, fresh, air).

If you´re in Guayaquil, you should take a visit to Calle 18. I thought it was great. I went 5 times. There are about 50 women here and enough gems to keep you happy for a week. The product is always well displayed, almost all are in bikinis, most are early twentys, and the price is a set $6USD, for a 10 minute session. There is a fair bit of hair on display too, which keeps the local oglers happy. Its open every day from 8am to 6pm, from what I gathered. I went on a Sunday and it was open then.
To get there take a taxi, its $3USD from downtown. Tell the taxi driver to go to La diez y ocho (ie.,La 18), and they generally understand. The actual location is at the intersection of Calle 17 (Brazil)and Avenida 27 (Salinas). If you walk down Calle 18 you wont find it, as there is a big concrete wall along Avenida 27 blocking access to the place.
Most of the girls are from the Manabi province, and some are quite goodlooking, with nice bodies. The rooms are small, and the bed is a single. You get some water to wash off with after the deed, so its quite a passable place. The girls all supply rubbers, and all I went with had lube.
To get back to centro you can take a bus from calle 18. I would always take one that said Centro, Bahia on the front. It costs about 20 cents, and takes about 15minutes.
I didn’t perceive any security problems at La 18. It’s a pretty raucous place with most guys sitting around at the bars drinking beer. Food vendors patrol the street too.
If you like low end scenes this place is one of the best I have found. I haven’t been to Quito, just Brazil, Argentina, Peru.

I'm in Guayaquil right now. I came down last night to meet a nonpro who works for a big time lawyer here. I met her on an internet site. I had planned to stay at the Best Western ($48), but I got a better deal at the Dreamkapture Inn (1 person $20. 16 or 2 people $31. 36 private bath, free breakfast). So I sent her an email to see if she was going to stay with me (didn't tell her that I needed to know for the reservation) and she got offended. She was still supposed to meet me at the airport when I arrived at 12: 20 am. Needless to say I arrived and she wasn't there. I used someone's cell phone to call her (there were no public telephones in the airport) and she did not answer. So I went to the address (downtown $5 taxi from airport) that she had given me because I had wanted to send her a postcard. She told me it was her house. It was actually her job. Of course nobody was there at 1 in the morning.
I told the taxi driver that I wanted to find a girl for the night. He drove to some spots but didn't see anybody. So he radioed the other drivers and they told him to check a street called Los Rios y Veles. We stopped outside a club there. There were 4 guys (1 working at the club) and 1 girl (guessing she was working) outside. I only speak enough Spanish to get me by so the driver talked to guy. He said it was $40 for the club for the girl to leave then I would have to negotiate anything else with the girl. I said damn that. I didn't even go inside to check the quality. I just got back from a short visit to Guayaquil and I asked the taxi driver to take me to Excalibur. He said I know a better place it is exclusive called "The Stock Market" I thought he said stop market, but anyways. It was in Duran and it is way out in the middle of nowhere. It is a beautiful house with a large pool on the river in a gated community. The guy told me it was all Columbianas and they were the best looking girls $100 to $200 and no cover. I had no interest in paying that kind of money but I had to see what the buzz was about. I arrived and found out after I sat down at the bar it was $20 entrance and it included one drink. I said, well I am here so be it. I asked if I could get a vodka redbull as my drink and the bartender said yes. There were 6 girls there...it was a Tuesday night. 1 was fat, 1 heavy and 2 probably in the 7 range and 2 maybe 8! I was not at all impressed. It was a beutiful place but not worth what they were charging and other clubs in Guayaquil have just as nice girls and better. 2 girls came up and said hello and gave a little kiss and walked away. I stayed maybe 20 minutes and left. When I exited they had to call for a taxi so as I waited a guy came out with a bill saying I owed $6 for the Red Bull! I told him in English the place sucked and I was not paying $6 more! An English speaking man came out, I told him he already charged me $20 to look at 6 girls none of which were worth $20. He said okay no problem. After that night several other taxi drivers tried to sell me on "The Stock Market" telling me it was the best place. I told them it sucked. I spoke to another gringo who has lived there for 4 years and he said he kept hearing the buzz so he and 4 other guys got drunk and went out there late. He also agreed saying the chics were way over priced and the drinks were expensive. He also added that because several of them were drunk they padded the bill and it cost them almost $1200 to get out. They were with a business man who was pissed but instead of arguing the charges threw money at them and told them money was nothing to him but they were thieves. So keep this in mind when a taxi offers up the best club "The Stock Exchange!"

I was in Quito last saturday night late and all day sunday.I returned back to texas monday morning. To make a long story short all the chongos/ screw places were closed as tungs report of distinction had said.There were maybe 3 places that tung had listed that were open on sunday. I have read your Report of Distinction on Strip Clubs in Guayaquil, however it was written in 2005. I was wondering if you could do a new updated version for everyone else on the forum.
I have only been to Isla del Tesoro, Amadeus and Stock Exchange in Duran which I posted about. I was wondering about Excalibur (possibly the old Juniors??), Odisea Romana or any others.
I know that names, places, quality and prices change often and you seem to be the expert so I was hoping for your insight. It would be nice to compile a new list that gives aproximate prices (entry fee, drinks, girls, etc.), quality of girls (1-10 scale), type of girls (Ecuadorian, Columbian, etc.) and location. Then other people could add information on clubs not listed or their thoughts on their experiences.
Also thought it would be good to get names and addresses and information on regular discos or bars that have alot of non-pros. I know Club Fizz, is pretty good, do you have any other hot discos or bars with friendly non-pros.

As far as the cheap clubs in Guayaquil, I know there is Calle 18 for the $6 action and Imperio and El Gato in Duran. (not sure of the price but it is cheap) There is another El Gato a little off the beaten path in Guayaquil (looks a little scary down a dirt road) and it is $10 for the girl and $3 for the room upstairs. Entry is $1 and you get a beer. Dependiing on when you go they sometimes have some nice talent, but in general I would say in the 5 to 7 range.

I agree with Tungurahua there is about a 100 clubs here in Guayaquil the thing is there is noexpats down here to hang out with, so I ain´t going to go by myself to these barbaric areas where some of these clubs are located with no backup some of these streest are really dangerous. So I am stuck with going to maybe about 12 or so clubs and stuff it´s really ashame because Quito women fit a definite profile while Guayaquil is like NYC people from different areas, migrants, black girls, chinnese, colombian hoes so is a really varied mix and vibrant city with many mongering opportunities.
People are notreally taking advantage of it, just my .2 cents.

Yeah, I heard the Prosperina area in Guayaquil is really good for chica houses there is like 10 clubs in that area, unfortunately even cops get killed going there I was there ounce to a club called "Gato" not the "Gato" of Duran there is 2 "Gato" one in Duran the other in Guayaquil and I could see about 10 clubs in the area about 1 or two blocks from each other but you really got to watch your step in these area I´m talking dirt raods, hoodlems everywhere and cabs that want to get out of the area as soon ass fucking possible.
As far as Manabi is concerned there is really no point in paying for pussy in that region I am not racist or anything but the whole area is 90% black and those people hardly ever work or want to work most shops open at 9 am and close at 2 pm and there is treally nothing to do there, it's a really ugly area that doesn't grow or progress economically you really see alot of misery and poverty over there most women over there fuck for fun and maybe want a meal afterwards.
and that is saying something. It is one HEAVY town. Getting out of town as quickly as possible and kicking it in Salinas, Montanita etc. worked well for me. The night I HAD to stay in GYE to catch early flight to MIA I called chula Elisabeth and got a VERY GFE delivered to my room, sparing me from the REAL risks of the mean streets after dark.
If Doom lives there and is reticent about going clubbing alone in dicey areas, a solo out of towner might be wise and take heed of his warning. Go in groups, keep a low profile and do NOT draw attention to yourself (meaning speak no English). Just take as much money as you'll need and leave wallet and cards in hotel safe.

i am just remembering something surfer said that i had not really thought about one of my europen friends about 2 months ago or so refer to post http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=543164&postcount=164 these european guys were just amazed at the amount of gunpower in the streets, i mean there´s alot of security guards with guns and bulletproof vests just roaming all over the city i have seen it soo much now that i am well used to it, but an out of towner really get´s shocked when the private security of some banks or a buisness is not armed with a [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134) shoter 9 mm but shotguns and submachine guns, i guess it´s the price to pay for the lack of security in the city.
Lots of 3rd world cities have armed guards with bulletproof vests all over (e.g. Any in Colombia, Central America or the Philippines) just like GYE, but the difference is the guards LOOK more nervous in GYE. I also read the newspaper which has these maps pinpointing the locations of the violent crimes that occurred within the last month. It was truly horrific and happened pretty much citywide.
Even in the daytime I recall strolling the Malecon and seeing shady looking charachters hanging out just outside the barriers and being shooed away by the security guards. On the Malecon itself I felt quitre safe but walking to where you park your car is the iffy part. Stayed at the Best Western downtown and traveling the two blocks from the parking garage to the Hotel would NOT have been much fun late at night (even with the guard as escort).
I heard lots of people claim to be victims of street robberies in Quito too, but Mariscal and most tourist areas looked, and felt, much safer than downtown GYE.

The Gato (not in Duran) is the same place I was talking about. Yes it is on a dirt road, but I have been there a dozen times, many by myself and never had a problem. (I am white as snow and my spanish is OK at best) This last trip I was told of two other clubs in that area, one call La Rossa. La Rossa is small has a stage and I think about 12 or so girls sitting by doors to their room. Buy a beer to get in $1 and the girls $6. The taxi driver told me of another place near this that is supposedly much bigger called Buffalo (I think) girls in the $6 to $10 range, did not check it out. This area sounds like it is saturated with these little places. They are definitely in a not so good area so caution is a must.
There is another place that is called Vikingo, ask a taxi they will probably know it. It is a nice little place with cheap beers and some decent girls. they dance on stage and then into a shower off stage you can watch through the glass. (when they have paid their water bill) The girls range from $25 to $40, I was told.
Saying all of that, I have been to Guayaquil 11 times now in the last 3 years and have never once had any problems with safety. I know the city has dangerous areas and crime happens, but don't make yourself an easy target and act confindent. I have ventured to many places by myself that look sketchy but I don't have much cash on me and I make eye contact and act confident. Criminals are looking for easy targets, so if you look lost or scared, they will seek you out as their next victim.

I asked a delivery from this agency, number 2, and it has been by far my worst experience with a service provider.
Agreed price was US$90 + taxi, so in fact US$ 100 for 1.5hrs, multiple fucks. I got emails from the agency confirming this if you want to see them.

Moral of the story:
1. Avoid this agency like plague.
2. Before handing cash to the girl, make sure with HER you are getting what you have agreed over the phone. If not kick her ass out of the room.
3. Whenever possible, pay after the show is over.
On a good side of the story, the hotel I stayed was a good call. US$50 bucks, located close to the San Marino Shopping mall and girl friendly for US$10 cover. PM me if you want the name.

I went to Guayaquil´s famous Calle 18, or¨La 18.¨ This is a block where every house is a *****house. It´s a pedestrian-only street. A few girls stand in front of each house in string bikinis and if you want one just grab her and take her to her room in back. The quality varies, but there are some gems.

I can personally recommend the Hotel Libertador on the Parque Centenario, but it might be not be nice enough for you. It's $10 per night, some rooms have A/C and a park view, and it's extremely chica friendly. The rooms have a TV with 3 channels and no hot water. There aren´t too many overnight guests, as it´s mainly used as an hourly love motel. By the way, 3 hrs. here will cost $6. Some of the young boys who work here aren´t real outgoing, but look for Luscio. He sent a few girls to my room.
Don't stay at the Hotel Centenario, 2 blocks down from the Hotel Libertador on the same side of the Parque Centenario. The rooms are $12 per night. The owner who stays there most of the day won't let chicas in with you but the night watchman who comes on after 11 pm will let them go up to your room.
Within a few blocks of the parque centenario, there are a dozen clubs. Some are bad strip clubs, some bars where you can take out a chica, and some are simple discotecas. You won´t figure out what type of club each one is until you go in. First off, I visited 2 clubs in Duran multiple times. Duran is across the river from the city center- about a $3 taxi ride during the day or $5 at night.
Imperio is a chongo in the true sense of the word, in that there are girls who stand by their tiny rooms and wait for a guy to pay $7 to fuck them. In my humble opinion, Guayaquil is not as dangerous as some previous posters haver described it. I speak fluent Spanish but I am obviously American by my size and skin tone. I went to all the aforementioned clubs and to la calle 18 by myself multiple times- no problems. I walked around downtown at all hours and didn't worry the least bit. Some homes had their doors wide open at midnight. There is a police presence here but it isn't menacing like it can be in Colombia. In fact, the city center here feels much safer than in Medellin, bogotá, and lima.
Talk to anyone who has lived in Guayaquil for a long time, and they exclaim at how dangerous the downtown used to be compared to what it is today. This city has really cleaned itself up remarkably within the last decade, or so I'm told.

Calle 18 (oficially named Salinas St.) is located in the southwestern part of the city (the "Suburbio"). A taxi will cost you 3 dollars from downtown (you also can get it for less).
As far as it concerns, you should be aware of your surroundings when you go there. If you look gringo, you will stand out.

As I hinted a couple weeks ago, I arrived in Guayaquil late Wednesday night for 48 hours of unfettered relaxation. Prior to the flight, I read every post since the forum changeover in 2003, all 67 pages. I highlighted names and, where available, addresses and landmarks. My only impediment was that I didn’t look at a map until after I arrived, so gaining a bird’s eye view was difficult. Once I had the elements together, I reviewed my highlighted material and transferred coded coordinates to the map. The process was a bit challenging as many locations are described by proximity to landmarks and barrios rather than streets. And, there is the issue of numbered streets that go by their given names on maps.
Anyway, my complicit wingman agreed to have a look at “La Diez y Ocho” around midday. I tried to follow along the taxi ride, but street names changed and turns were made to facilitate traffic flow faster than I could move my finger. Presently, I decided it really didn’t matter, because there is no reason to be in the southwestern part of town other than for the one, godforsaken street…
Other descriptions of Calle 18 have been quite good. I’ll only elaborate on points unclear to me prior to my arrival. First, the area is quite small. You can only enter from the cross street (Brasil), which is chained off in the day. If you turn right onto 18 (Salinas), the street, enclosed on 3 sides, extends no more than 40 yards. There is enough room for 3 bars on each side of the street. Turning around the opposite direction, the distance is roughly double, maybe closer to 100 yards. Again, each side of the street features indoor/outdoor bars. Most have girls working from inside or behind the facades that give way to rather large courtyards containing series of small rooms. Some quarters are tighter and a couple of places have no drinking facilities but have porches behind jail-like bars separating girls from the street.
I agree with the perception that the area is fairly safe. There was a police presence as noted, but the main reason I think it is safe is because the street is not a tourist retreat. It would be a high-risk, low reward venue for most criminals. There is little space to work with, the streets aren’t that crowded, and I would venture a guess that, not only were we the only gringos there, we were the only first-time visitors. I’m not saying something tragic couldn’t or wouldn’t happen, but I think some may overstate the daytime concerns here.
So, we settled on a bar near the end of the long street. They were running a special for 3 600ml Brahmas for $2. Apparently, the promotion doesn’t apply to Americans as we were given 2 beers for $2. For the 2nd round, we switched to Pilsner, which I think is much better. There were street vendors and a couple of beggars. The street wasn’t particularly dirty, but there was a sewage issue near the intersection that served as a mood killer in that area—unfortunate because some of the best looking girls populated that particular establishment.
Speaking of the girls, I counted around 100 in total. It could be 90 or as high as 125. Of those, we agreed that around 8 were quite attractive (pretty face, white teeth, proportional body, 18-24 years). Perhaps another 15 were “okay.” The others simply took up space. 3 of the 5 best looking ones resided behind the jail bars on the far side of the long street (to the right of a bar/ *****house called “1,000 Lovers”—funny, I translated it for my friend, but now I can’t remember the terminology). Dinner was across the intersection from Amadeus on Rio at Caracol Azul, or Blue Snail. The head waiter was a character, having been born in Miami, then becoming a Mormon. He’s practiced his religion for 30 years, but, by his admission he "smokes,.. and drinks, forgive me Joseph… and, oh, yeah, does some different women from time to time…" The service was better than the food, the excellent shrimp ceviche not withstanding. We did meet up with two colleagues of sorts, and they joined us at Amadeus Boat.

I still haven’t decided how I feel about this place. $10 cover includes a drink, then subsequent drinks $5 for you or the chicas. The décor is old and dilapidated, the stage seating good but, if not on the stage, there are no seats where you can even see it. Chairs were uncomfortable. Service was good. There were about 13 girls, all local. Several were quite attractive, several were non-contenders and the middle 6 were just okay. Dances last forever, perhaps 15 minutes per performer. The fat, disgusting thieving cab driver who works in front of Amadeus charged us $15 (we agreed on $5 to Habana, but forgot to renegotiate for the ride to the hotel, so he took advantage).
My overall impression of the 2 days is that GYE is nowhere near as bad as Surfer and a couple of others report. I found it much more civilized that Mexico City or Mumbai, and safer than San Jose, CR or even Panama City. Again, some of that may be attributed to lack of tourists. On the other hand, I didn’t find the people to be nearly as friendly as the Brazilians or Peruvians, and only on par with the stand-offish Chileans. I'll be back with some frequency and look forward to opinion evolution.

Okay, so does this imply some kind of an immigration crackdown where colombianas are rounded up and deported, possibly? What else would account for colombianas leaving the scene--a downturn in the market?
Maybe I just answered my own question. But it maybe as you have suggested, that the high class venues don't really exist anymore; that high class venues have gotten more expensive, but the clientele is not there to support the more expensive venues.

So for some readers, this report will reflect, “I’ve been there and done that” and they should probably skip directly to the photos.
Guayaquil: The airport is architecturally beautiful-invoking a sense of modernism and is very clean, safe and straightforward to navigate through. Upon exiting one will pass arrivals and if you have prearranged transportation to your hotel, the driver will be waiting there typically holding a sign with your name on it. To catch a taxi, simply exit the building and take one of the yellow cabs parked a few steps from the exit door. The taxis are safe-meaning they are really taxis not someone pretending to be. A ride to the downtown area cost me $4 to $5 dollars and takes about 8 to 10 minutes.
Hotels: I can assert that the Hotel Palace (www.hotelpalaceguayaquil.com.ec) is safe, very clean and modern and is P4P guest friendly. The Palace is located downtown on Chile 214 and Luque. Most of the taxi drivers know how to find it. The rooms are immaculate with fresh paint, new furniture, crown molding, vaulted ceilings (5th floor), very comfortable bed, new marble bathroom, excellent water pressure, a safe and a free bottle of water and a welcome cocktail. A complimentary continental breakfast is offered from 07:00 to 10:00AM in the hotel’s restaurant Café Palace. The room’s attendant turn down the sheets and leaves a piece of chocolate every night. The rate during my stay was $52.00 plus 22% tax and service.
The Palace does, however, have a few drawbacks which are derived from its primary clientele which are businessmen. There is no pool, no bar or lounge and basically no leisure activities by which to entertain oneself. The Café Palace offers drinks but it has no bar and one has to sit at a table in order to drink. Not altogether too bad especially if one seats himself at the table which faces Chile. During quitting time the parade of ass walking by is endless! I was having a couple enjoying the scenery when one went by beaming and grinning at me. I smiled back and thought little of the occurrence and continued drinking and occasionally shooting the breeze (trying to find more info on GYE pussy scene) with Ebzar, the waiter who speaks good English. A few moments passed and she walked by a second time headed the other direction again beaming and grinning at me. I ordered another drink and stepped outside to see if she was waiting but she wasn’t. Café Palace has ok food, however, it is fresher and more flavorful than American food, but a better restaurant is located at the Grand Hotel www.grandhotelguayaquil.com Also there are several “local’s” eateries around the Palace which smelled very appetizing, however, not being fluent in Spanish and traveling alone, I felt a little apprehensive about eating in these establishments. The food smelled really good at the El Toro Asado and there are several empanada cubby holes close to the Palace. Next to the palace is a little market with a real cute, bubble butt-19 year old cashier where one can purchase bottled water, beer, whisky, smokes and lots of other items for very little. A beer and a bottle of water cost less than a dollar and this is a good place to restock the mini bar to avoid paying hotel restocking fees.
Sightseeing: Hit the Malecon 2000. To get therefrom the Palace walk out the door, turn left walk past Velez street and mind the traffic signals as one can easily get run over in the city. Walk by the San Franscio Church to 9 De Octubre. Turn right and walk straight down 9 De Octubre and the street ends at the Malecon. For anyone who enjoys riparian vistas and botanical gardens, the Malecon is for you. It is very beautiful even on a overcast day.
For guys who like chicks in uniforms you’re in luck. There are armed security guards all up and down the Malecon and most of them are females. I couldn’t get any pictures, however, these girls were in their twenties, slender and wore black pumps, gray miniskirts with white blouses and ornamented hats-very sexy looking. To get there hope in a taxi and tell him La Calle dieciocho or write it on a piece of paper and hand it to him-they all know of this place. It cost me $4 there and $3.50 back the first time and then $3 there and $3 back subsequent times. Every taxi took a different route there and the same route back to the hotel so I really have no clue as to what the directions are to get there.
From the elephant foot man or the guy practicing Tai Chi or the guy flat on his back passed out in the middle of the street or the street corner vendor frying up some sort of flesh in a huge vat or the heavily armed disinterested police or the garbage and sewage strewed everywhere in the street, or the open hole in the ground urinals, or the constantly wet floors, or the lighthearted locals sipping on beers or the would be pimps hovering over some of the better looking girls or the bikini laden girls ranging from 300lbs to 90lbs -some with pretty faces some with unattractive faces but all with long faces, some 3holers some BBBJs-just imagine... I've read the forum pretty extensively, but still am left with a couple of questions. I'm planning a trip for end-July/early August. Need a break from the Quito altitude.
1. Hotels - Seems like this question keeps coming up without any definitive answers to it? Can you recommend any hotels in the $20-$40/night range that are completely guest-friendly (no extra fees if booking a double), clean, secure, a/c, and hot water? I'm going to be in Quito for 6 days over Labor Day. What is the fastest and cheapest way to get between the two cities. I'll be with three other guys, one of whom speaks fluent Spanish.
Also, I've some differences between what the two cities have to offer. Is it worth the trip to Guayaquil, or is Quito the best spot for mongoring?
I would take a domestic flight anywhere in Ecuador that is not within 2-3 hours by bus. One way tickets are about 60 dollars almost anywhere in the country from Quito.
Bus service is available all over the place, but it is a long and sometimes scarry ride. A bus from Quito takes 8 hours compared to a flight which only takes 45 minutes to reach Guayaquil. Last year I took a bus to Otavalo from Quito, and I sure would not want to go anywhere further than that. I had ideas of traveling by bus (because of the cheap prices), but after the bus ride to and from Otavalo (3hrs), I decided against it.
As long as you have the money, I would take a plane.

parque seminario – “parque de las iguanas” – a lazy public park located in the middle of downtown which has been turned into a sanctuary for a group of iguanas that made it home and wouldn’t leave; now, it’s a tourist attraction for both foreigners and natives; the city has embraced it and maintain the park daily; the iguanas are very docile and playful creatures, esp. with kids; sometimes even hams for the cameras; worth checking out

La Habana - Arrived too late to head to Club Fizz, so I left the hotel around 1:00 am in search of whatever. Figured I’d check out La Habana since it was close to downtown and appeared to be open late. $3 taxi from centro. Taxi took Av. Chile up past the overpass at CC Bahia and made a right on Av. Cuenca, made a left about 3 miles up, then a right, I lost street names, but we were there in 10 mins tops; a hole-in-the-wall type of peña; $3 no cover - $23 ($20 for girl, $3 for room); domestic beer (Club verde) cost $1; approx. 10-12 chicks on hand, 10 of which were fat, I’m talking having spare tires all around the waist fat; 8 of them were also past their sell-by date by 5 years; I spoke with one of the slimmer options, bought her a beer to pull some info out of her, she gave me her number, but had no intention of using it as she wasn’t my type; turns out the other slim chick wasn’t working, just hanging out with her. She offered an intro, but I was ready to go and hunt elsewhere.

Summation: Guayaquil was okay, but I wouldn't recommend solely going there for p4p. Nor solely for tourism. The weather and altitude in GYE is much better than Quito, but even the beaches are 2 hours away. The Quito scene is way better all-around and much more functional each day of the week. I didn't see the hot chicas of Guayaquil that I'd heard about either. The chicas from Manabi that I ran into, were only lighter-skinned, but nothing so special. This includes one that I met in Amadeus. Kind of disappointing. Next trip to Ecuador will be Quito again. Much more variety, between non-pro bars and putas.

Today it's Hollyday season in Ecuador, Independance day not that any of these third world countries are trully independat anyway but people will be going to the beach I think, I will keep you posted on any important events that's for sure I will definetely leave the city don't want to deal with the drunk hollyday atmosphere and the usual pros today so I will let you know what I find.

Trust me, I understand your frustration.
If you want it cheap at that time (10:15 pm), head to Duran to Imperio. Taxi should cost you around $5. Beer < $1. Pussy = $7 for 15 mins.
If money's not an obstacle, check out Odiesel or Amadeus. At the least, you'll see some talent, but the prices are much higher.
And, be thankful that the 1st taxi driver was being honest with you. As a general rule, at night, no need to take too many risks. Take their word for it.

Thanks for symphaty. Today I managed to be sharp 21. 00 at C18. Geuss what, at least 10 police guys and one gringo. Me. With other words closed again. Against my inner voice started to enter the premisses just to stand 1 inch of water as EVERYONE was scrubbing their floors. No chickas no beer and the question "why me" came up?

During the Nibus trip 2 days ago it was nothing less than a little exhausting we damm near visited all the low end chongos in the city we started out at 5pm at calle 18, he banged some chic that said was from maracaibo we then went to duran visited Imperio, Gato and Escorpion then we took a cab ride to the center of the city of Duran in which there were 2 chongos in the center of duran which had some pretty shaddy personalities so we left with a quickness.
Went back to GYE and went to Prosperina and checked out 3 more chongos and they were pretty lame since we were kindo of short on cash we could not roll into the Excalibur type places but then again if you are going to pay for pussy like you do in the US what is the point of coming to SA anyway.

I have a vague reference of where is located I believe it is located by the Modelo Stadium however I am not sure if it's anywhere near it's old location.

I'll hit topics likes Imperio, El Gato, Calle 18, El Surburbio (don't go), Amadeus, Fizz and the adjoining bar, Isla del Tesoro (sp?), La Habana, Mall del Sol, CC San Marino, Malecon 2000, Las Peñas, the bars of Zona Rosa, economical hotels like Hotel Rizzo and the better option - Hotel Plaza across the street, etc. Just bear with me as I get it all organized. No pics however.
UrbanSeven - Check out Amadeus. $10 cover, includes a $6 credit towards drinks, but by far, the best talent I saw, across the board. Check for "La Colombiana" named Sandy. You'll know her when you see her. Blondish, light-skinned paisa, great body, cute face, high energy, very popular, cool personality. On-site will run you $30-50. TLN will cost you at least $80-100 + salida, more if no Spanish. But, there are ways around that price. Amadeus opens from 9pm - 2am or 3am.
Quick note to anyone headed to GYE: on Sunday nights (after 9pm), absolutely nothing is open. No bars, very, very few restaurants. No P4P, including Imperio and El Gato. It got so bad, I couldn't even order a beer or a drink in the Hampton Inn casino (wasn't staying there, but it was open). Something like a dry law. Therefore, plan ahead.
On a brighter note, on Sunday, I did manage to screw my masseuse (maybe a 6.5, but spoke English) back in my hotel for free (well, the price of lunch and cab ride home). LOL!!!

There is a new mall being built in Duran about 2 miles from the famous "Imperio" it will inagurate next month so there is a structure being built to accomodate a new "Imperio" about 3 miles from where the current location is so that it can be closer to the mall it's almost done I imagine it will be acout 6-8 week before the "Imperio" moves to it's new location. Hope it will be better than the current one.

I have had a shitload of questions about this establishment most people can't seem to find it, and truth be told it is hard to find it had wooden doors with no discernable signs outside to give away it's location it is located in Junin and Panama you will know which establishment it's by the amount of dressed up security outside of the wooden doors. I am coming to ECU. Going to be going to Quito first. I speak a passable spanish. I am not going to spend all my time in the brothels of Quito. I would like to see the country. Mostly I will go to Guayaquiland other parts of the coast.
