Loads of massage girls in Cuzco but they only do real massage (the kind for perverts, with no happy ending). It is very dissapointing and they are missing out on so many upsell opportunities!
Went out to San Tutas as explained in a prvious post (past San Sebastien). It is about 20 minutes and 7 soles in a cab. What a bizarre place! It is a kind of courtyard with doors behind which women wait. The place was PACKED with guys when I went and they would line up outside the best loking girls doors waiting for thier turn. Nasty man! They would all be trying to look through the door cracks and windows to see when the previous guy was finished so they could get their turn.
The place was very safe and even had security / police guards. I could not imagin anything at all pleasurable happening there and guys al looking through the cracks to see when you are finished.
Its surprising really given the huge amount of tourism but as previously mentioned Cusco is a bit of a wasteland for the monger. Amazing city though from a culrural and "chilling out" perspective.
my schedule did not allow me to explore the limited p4p options in cusco.
massages in aguas calientes:
- better quality and somewhat more sensual offering (still no he) than in cusco but a little more expensive.
- they asked for s / 60 per hour but easily negotiated that to s / 60 for 90 min (busy week during low season)
- rooms were smaller, more private, and more comfortable than cusco.
- in cusco they asked me to keep my underwear on but here i just took everything off and lay on the table. they'll drape you with a very warm blanket but did not have a problem when i pushed the draping down my thighs for open exposure when doing my back / ass or when i pulled it up when doing my legs. draping when face up was done much more carefully and they did not massage the abdomen so it's just the legs face up.

- face up, much more cautious, unlikely anything more possible given family can walk in and out of the room.

not the he experience we all would love to find on the gringo trail but definitely more interesting than i expected.
Aguas Calientes Massage / Flights to Cusco / 2 day MP optionSeparated the travel stuff but forgot to erase that part of the title:
Flights to Cusco: I flew Peruvian Airlines as the tickets were much cheaper than LAN but had a couple of issues to report. I stopped by their Miraflores office to confirm my flight a couple of days in advance and learned that they had cancelled my flight and they had re-booked me on their last flight of the day (9:30am). I hope they would have contacted me. Given I had fairly tight timelines, I had them rebook me on their early 5:45am flight. By printing boarding passes ahead of time at their office, I was able to show up at the airport at 4:45am instead of 3:45am. Once at the airport, due to weather in Cusco, all non-LAN flights were delayed (including TACA, Peruvian Airlines, Star Peru and one other very small outfit). Apparently only LAN has the instrumentation to fly to Cusco in poor visibility. However, about 3 hours later, things improved and Peruvian Airlines was the first plane out. They have nice planes and good service. However, if you have very tight timelines, paying LAN their ransom may be worth it.
On the MP / Inca Trail front: If you have time constraints but want a non-rushed experience, I recommend the two day trip I did to MP out of Cusco. Day 1 was early bus to Ollantaytambo, train to km104, then full day hike on the Camino Sacgrado (Sacred Trail) to Chachabamba, Wiñaywayna, Inti Punku, and MP before overnight in AC. Day 2 we toured MP, hiked up to Waynapicchu (no guide) , and relaxed in town before taking the 5pm train back to Cusco. You have to use a guide on the Inca Trail and I was happy with my SAS experience.
I did the 4 day trek to MP.
I completely agree that the 2 day option would be perfectly fine and you would get most of the Inca Trail feel without having to do the extra days.
As a keen walker the 4 day hike was actually pretty easy. But we were very very lucky with the weather (no rain even though it was January and middle of the wet season).

It seems clear that the Peruvians are making every effort to maximize their profits off of tourists but it has been my experience when traveling outside the USA that you can pretty much always find a better way. Example, when booking the flight from Lima to Cusco, the tix are $300+ rt. Funny thing is that when you log in to the LAN sight as your country of origin being PERU, the flights are $90 round trip. Is this a clue as to how I am to be treated in Peru?
My schedule will be a little flexible and I think the 2 day hike you describe sounds attractive. I would love to camp at least one night under the stars! But I'm seeing $500 for tours! Once in Aguas Calientes or any of the other nearby towns, do you really need to book a guide in advance? I'm a moderately seasoned traveler and make friends pretty easily. I'm just wondering if I am deluding myself into believing I can make this happen on the fly.

Right now Lan is running a promotion, If you book the international leg (with Lan) they will give you a free ticket to any destination in Peru.

I did the Inca Trail recently. It is very unlikely that you would be able to do this on the fly. Campsite are booked and designated by the trail authorities. To turn up with a tent and pitch it would not be possible at all.
The two day trek is just fine I think if tyou want to see the main features and get a good feel without having to do the hwole trail. I enjoy trekking and was happy to do the full trail but in retrospect the 2 day trek would cover most of the bases especially if it is wet and cloudy and many views obscured on the full trek.

I'll be there in early May too! $200 on Star Peru. A pain in the ass to pay. I had to call their Miami office and pay a service charge for them to accept my credit card since it would not work paying online after several attempts on different days. Planes are kind of old though. I hope they can make it over the mountains!
Not a big info, but when I was in Acqua Caliantes, one street guy was shouting something about massages, but as nobody really cared the guy added to his shouting "happy ending included", nobody really cared at all again, but my head immediately turned 180 degree as it was programmed, guy started to laugh to me and I started to laugh too. The only one who wasnt smiling was my girllfriend.
So there are some MP with HJ in AC at least.
The girls in the front of MP looked good.

Not much happening in Cusco. There are three discos in the corner of the main plaza and you might find some girls hustling. There were a few girls with older gringos kissing pretty hard near the bar, I wasn't sure what that was all about it just looked really odd. I concur with your report. I am also living in Cusco and the locals can be quite dodgy. Find it to be one of the most unsexy city cities I have ever visited. If you do see a hottie, chances are she is from somewhere else. BTW, several years ago a guy on this board reported about a house for chicas in central Cusco and gave an approximated description and location of said establishment but did want to reveal the name to prevent the local authorities from knowing. On one rainy Sunday several weeks ago, I tracked down the location and the name, which is Hostal Kintu. It's located in a back alley off Tullamayo Avenida but within 30 second stroll from the Avenida del Sol in Central Cusco and about a 5 minute walk to the Plaza Del Armas. As to be expected, it looked a bit dodgy from the outside though saw no activity on my walk by and was not sure if it was still operational. I went by taxi past the building a few days ago and the taxi driver confirmed it was still in business. He even quoted me the price of 20 soles or $8 US for a ten minute ride. With the chica that is. Don't expect much though. Wham, bam, thank you mam.

There is a chonga in Cusco it is located out past the airport. Just ask a taxi driver to take you to a chonga or prostibulo. It opens at 5 or 6 at night I don't remember the exact time. Price was 20 soles for a quicky. I was the only American there when I was there but there were a lot of guy wandering around. There were about 40 girls there when I was there in March. I took 2 the second one was a tight spinner and was worth the 20 soles about 7. 5 US the first one wasnt worth even that much.
After a couple of Colombian hookers fell through a local guy I was drinking with and myself decided to head to San Tuti. This place is not for the faint hearted. After viewing some monsters I saw a chica that was about a 5 and foolishly decided to take her for an hour. Well, that's one hour of my life I'll never get back. The dumb thing is that I'd already fucked my cute little massage chica earlier in he day and at least she got into it. Go to this place only if you're desperate.
I went there once last fall. Wandered around a bit and could not believe how coarse it is. Virtually all fatties, old and worn out. I did not partake even with that ridiculous low price. I have lived in Cusco for almost a year but do little mongering here. I find the local women dull and unattractive and not very sensual so limit my extracurricular activities to Lima and elsewhere in Peru. I have known of the existence of the Casanova Club for over a year but never knew where it was until this week. As it turns out, it is a 2 minute walk from my office just off Avenida Del Sol on Pasaje Grace, a small alley off this central Cusco street.
The reason I never came across it before was it does not open until 11:30pm and there is no sign, only a discrete blue light, above a simple doorway. Last night I went with some Cusco pals. The actual location is in a basement but the decor is modern and at least as nice as TR in Lima, though smaller. However, there were only about ten girls on a Saturday night most in the 6 to 7 range and not all that friendly either. It was really rather dull and this is Saturday night at 1am! They really don't approach you unless invited. But once you are talking to them, watch out as they want you to buy them ridiculous overpriced drinks. One girl from Trujillo quoted me 400 soles for one hour at my apartment. A real pro and would have fit like a glove in TR. When I told her that was too much, she reduced her price to 300soles. I told her that I only paid 200 soles in Lima at TR a few weeks ago (true) but she would not budge off the price.
They also do a rather tame strip dance on the bar and take it all off, but San Salvador it is not. I was told the chicas were from the jungle and no girls were from Cusco. Basically, I see no reason to return but if you are interested in trying your luck, you now have the details.

Here is the picture, you are walking colonnades of the Plaza and one chica after another will hand you a small flyer, and ask if you want a message. Right now. If you show any interest they will follow you and keep selling."Full body message" is the main pitch. Ask if they give a "complete" massage. Trust me, they know exactly what is implied. If they say they provide a "happy" massage, understand the service is limited a massage with a tug at the end. Be sure to get the full one hour treatment, it is worth it.
In general I over paid. Total cost, roughly $77. 00 or 200 Soles. Here was the sales logic applied on me: 100 Soles for the owner and 100 for the chica. My mistake, hotel room are available for half of what was claimed to be paid to the owner, or less. Anyway, it would be more relaxing in a hotel room the at a message parlor. The chica asked if I was staying in a hotel. I didn't want to take her back to my place. Dumb me, we could have gone to a different hotel for an hour or so. Chicas know of hotels that are friendly to short term stays. Live and learn.
Several weeks ago, I was behind the main plaza near the Plaza Regocio and a very attractive girl was passing out brochures. I think the price was 30 / soles for an hour massage. Well, I know that there would be no happy ending but I thought well at least she was pretty so I agreed to a massage. I followed her to another building, where there were rooms upstairs, and she asked me to lay face down on the table. A few minutes passed and the massage began and it was a decent massage. When I turned over, I realized that another girl, a little gordita, had been substituted for the original pretty girl. The chances of getting a happy ending or terminando Feliz are fairly remote but if you do, it will be with the type looking girl the Grid Skipper described in the previous post.

I was there earlier this year. I had quite a few massages but was not offered any extra services. The tables are usually separated only by curtains, and often it's easy to see inside. One is santutis or the shaoling temple as we like to call it. You can hire any cab to go there for about 8-10 soles depending on your location in Cusco. Is a very safe place mostly visited by locals with about 20-30 girls working at the time. I recommend the middle row for eye candy and the back rows for talent. Entrance is 4 soles plenty of cabs and service fees vary from 25 to 35 soles.
Next we have molino rojo. Which is situated almost by saylla (the fried pork / chicharron town) this place is a bit more upscale the drinks are definitely very expensive. Only about 6-8 rooms and girls at the time. How ever is a trip to get there and I always recommend to pay or tip the taxi to wait. I once had to walk about a mile into the darkness until I found a cab. Service ranges from 40-60 but it is a step up. Taxi costs usually 15-20 soles depending on where in Cusco.

Just take into account that "Santutis" and "Molino Rojo" are not clubs, they are chongos, that is wh*rehouses with rooms along a corridor or around a garden and a girl at each room's door; there is no previous interaction with the girl whatsoever, in fact girls get impatient if you attempt a conversation (you're waisting their time). In Santutis you pay a 4 soles (1. 50 dollars) entrance fee, stroll around, pick a girl based on her looks, get in, pay her anything between 20 and 40 soles (7. 5 to 15 dollars), pop your load and leave (15 min tops). Molino Rojo is a lot smaller, and a little more expensive, but basically the same; just tell your taxi driver to wait for you since Molino Rojo is somewhat far and it is not easy to find a taxi back to Cusco.

Nobody will speak English at the chongos, but there is not much to be said there, you just learn to say "Cuanto?" (How much?) and the numbers from 20 to 40, everybody knows what are you there for. You can also ask your English-speaking taxi driver to go in with you and help with the translation, just pay his entrance fee (4 soles) and he will be more than happy to obligue. There is a higher probability of finding English-speaking girls and waiters at the nightclub, Cusco lives on the tourist business after all, but we are talking of a far different (higher) price level there.

I've been using this forum for over a year now, it's about time to contribute.
I went to Santutis brothel during my stay in Cusco last week.
To get there from the center, you can take a local bus, it will stop by the main road, near the brothel (use your GPS and get off when you are near). Use the application "moovit" to know the bus routes (around 10 of them go there, very easy). A bus ride is 1 to 1.50 soles. Around 20 min.
From the bus stop, walk up 300 m to the place, pay the 4 soles entrance fees and here you are.
The place is like a big outdoor square, with around 50 rooms on the sides.
First time I went there, it was 7 pm weekday, around 20 girls were working.
Between 20 and 30 soles a ride.
Honestly, the quality is low, between 2 and 5, I haven't found better. I didn't make the journey for nothing so I had what I could.
The big problem with that place: wayyyy too many guys. Every time a girl open her door for a next client, 5 to 10 guys will run to see. In a matters of seconds (unless very ugly), she is taken and you don't even have time to see her.
So you got to spend hours to have an idea of all the girls.

Was just in Cusco. Seems like the Cassanova club moved to a place on AV el sol in an alley way next to the San Agustin plaza. The place is a 10 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. Walk just past San Agustin Plaza and make a right into the avenue and the entrance to the club is in the alley way. After paying the entrance fee (40 soles or 10 dollars) you go down some stairs and enter into a club which looks like a small conventional club with a bar.
