Well, the prices upstairs is not been established clearly. Sometimes if you're lucky, they won't charge you for the room, this happen in the weekdays, but, not in weekends (Friday to Sunday). I just got this, from the the peruvian spanish forum (PeruTops): "25 entrada + 100 Polvo 2º Piso + 50 lucas del cuarto "VIP" = 175 maracas". I went to the second floor, just to check the "material" out.....IS THE SAME AND WHY PAY THE EXTRA CASH?
mongering in Peru is not a good deal anymore, very soon will be at the brazilian level.

This is my first post so please bear with me. I have used this forum for information before but have decided it is time that I give back since I have taken the advice and knowledge of everyone here and have benefited greatly from it.
I was in Peru recently, in Lima for about a week and five days in Cuzco. I will stick with the mongering aspects of the trip since you can get a guidebook for everything else.
Cuzco. San Sebastian Chongo
- Lots of beautiful travelers in town but I did not partake since I was here for mongering.
- Not many options here as per forum. However, I did visit the chongo (brotel) in San Sebastian. Just ask any taxi driver and say "chongo, chicas, San Sebastian and they will take you. Around S7 each way and about 15 minute ride. Opens at 6:30PM and shuts down at 10: 30PM, I think.
- S15 per pop, written right on the doors to the rooms. That's right, about US$5 a pop. Mechanical but multi-positional and there are gems here.
- Sample three different girls on two different nights. Unfortunately didn't really get their names. Seedy and a little crazy but I actually enjoyed going here.
- Girl #1 was one of the prettiest girls I've ever fucked. Pretty, dark and slim. Super hot. She was also one of the busiest and charged S20 with no blowjob, covered titties and very mechanical but I had no complaints because she was that hot.
- Girl #2 was a little heavier but super friendly. S40 for blowjob and sex. Pretty wild and she was game for pretty much anything.

- Checked out Craigslist for Lima and even though there wasn't much info here or on the Pertops forum I decided to take the plunge and called Katsumi. She advertises as being of Japanese descent. After spending most of my mongering lately in MDE, I would say to spend more time in Lima than Medellin. Sure MDE is pussy central, but after a week you relize there is not that much other things to do. Lima is IMHO have much more activitys. For me sex on a trip is very important but I need other things to do. Also peru has a wealth of other citys and sites that are very interesting. For example one time I took a bus trip to Nazca to see the Lines from a plane. This to me was very rewarding as I had heard a lot about the Lines. not to also mention the Cusco area.
The capital of Cuba, I have no knowledge of, but I would trust David on his opinion of that area.

I think a Havana DR Haiti trip would be cool. Otherwise MDE and Lima will keep you busy.
I agree with vic 100% but as a first timer you could keep busy visiting some museums cable cars and other light tourist activities. Once you keep going back to MDE it's all booze and pussy which isn't a bad thing but it does get old.
Why go to Havana? Good rum, great cigars, warm Caribbean weather, beautiful Caribbean beaches, sexy black and white women, good music, and one of the most historically unique cities in the Western Hemisphere (at least until gringo "moves in").

And after that 10 minute dose of the historical uniqueness of Sosua, you can go back to the pursuits of shagging hot local chics and lying on the beach.
Oh, and BTW, Santo Domingo is also historically unique, and it IS a city. It's the first European settlement in the Western Hemisphere - founded by Christopher Columbus in 1492.

Wasn't a trip review and I don't consider repeating widely known FACTS as talking out of my ass:
1. Bad food.
2. Illegal to take girls into hotels, have to scrounge around for private guest houses, some of which are problematic.
3. Increased LE pressure on the girls making them harder to find and more expensive than in the past.
That's what I said and I stick to it. For a newbie making a choice of P4P venues, WHY GO TO CUBA when there are so many better alternatives? Its just common sense. This is a forum dealing with sex, not historic sites.

On a separate note on this trip I booked an apartment through Apartment Club Peru. The people there provide a great service, and the apartment worked out cheaper than staying in a hotel. I had no problem bringing girls back, after the first day security got use to it, and I gave them a few soles to keep them happy.

I agree with the comments about David. When I visited Lima in 2007, he was a big help - including mother + (lactating) daughter deal! I don't know how David feels about having to set all these things up - but he is great contact to have in Lima. The girls are also good quality and the price is reasonable (i.e., he is not adding a profit margin to what you would pay at a night club or saunas).

I live in Peru and found this forum after 4 years of being in a relationship and more recently 2. 5 months of being single. I've been going after mostly civilian chicks. I showed up to Scarlets at about 12 midnight this past Friday. It took about 4 taxis in front of Atlantic City casino before I found one willing to take me. I ended up paying S/. 30. It was an epic journey through Lima's best parts and its most shady. The total trip took about an hour. As happens so often in Lima the taxi driver did not know exactly how to get there so I am sure he did not take the most direct of routes. The Panamericana Norte is also under heavy construction which didn't help matters either. I had read that Scarlets is around the corner from Los Olivos hospital so when I saw it in the distance my mind was put at ease and we finally arrived at the door of what Peruvians call "El Templo. "
I pay my S. /25 cover and they store my BlackBerry (damn). I walk into the club proper and am immediately surprised how small it is. Two seating areas, a long bar and a stage. I guess I was expecting something huge. There were a number of cute girls all wearing hooker attire and super pumps. There were no tables available and just a few empty barstools. I am a fairly good looking guy who looks to be in his late 20s so I was getting hard stares from most of the chicas and it was a little uncomfortable. Well Palermo, all I can say is that you are certainly a change from the kind of guys who usually post here. In my usual tactful way, I would say: what a fucking waste of time, energy and money. Peru is completely different from Buenos Aires or Medellin. But if you enjoy seeking out some hardcore pros in whatever normal bar setting you can find, then have a good time. Not bothered, and certainly not offended. Your post seemed to suggest that you were roaming normal bars looking for hookers. If that isn't what you were doing than I retract my comment. I suggest you concentrate on the night clubs such as Emmanuel, Club 69, etc. etc. where not worrying about spending time and money is a competitive advantage.
Unfortunately Pica's seems to have died, maybe due to colder weather? I'm hoping it returns to what it was when I was last here, but I suspect the new hotspot is the big mansion (I will get the name and address next time I visit)

If you're looking for bricheras (God knows why) look no further than Sabor Peruano on Pizza St any night of the week. The entire left bar when you walk in is littered with them. You'll see the same girls sitting on the same stools all the time. I've banged a few and the last one I hooked up with told me her friends told her not to go with me because I'm a "casero" "misio" meaning I am a regular and don't pamper them with blackberries and trips to Cusco as many gringos tend to do. My report is mostly for informational to answer another poster's question as I don't really recommend SP to most readers of this board. In Bogota it was all private parties, which were great, but the bars were just normal attire, nothing special going on.
In Peru generally the adults celebrate "Dia Criolla" which is Peruvian Folk Music Day. Some of the bigger bars might have Halloween Parties.
About my visit to Lima and around Peru last july.
I talk spanish very fluently. This helps a lot in Peru.
I usually travel during hot season, which is quite different from the cold season there was in Lima that time. Hence, at least for me, chongos of any kind were far from being useful. I would like to see someone undressing in the 16 Celsius there were almost everywhere, not to speak about Andes, the 4 degrees of Cuzco and even less in Puno. Yes, they have heaters, they switch on them at the moment.
I got a room at Maria Luisa, reservation via website works fine. No problem bringing girls but no heaters in rooms, then cold and wet all time long. The SP near the sandwich shop is the 2nd location. The first location (on the actual Pizza St) closed down about 6 months ago for tax reasons I suppose. It literally reopened this past week so I didn't know about it at the time I posted my last report. LOL at the chick calling location #2 VIP Sabor Peruano jaja they're like the same exact place there's no difference at all aside from location. Let me say it up front: I am an Asia addict when it comes to women. Yellow fever, Thai tied, Filippina fated – call it what you like. So it was with some trepidation that I set forth on my first ever foray to South America in general and Peru in particular. There is an eternal discussion on which part of the world has the best women, and I have been firmly in the Asia-camp - regardless of whether I have sampled Latinas, Africans and so on. Would this trip change the equation?
Do I speak Spanish? Not really. Solo un poco, as they say, and that is about it. Can I ask how people are? Nope. Ask how old she is? Can’t. Get the price before committing? Beyond me. So how would this all work out? How could I still enjoy the local delicacies? Reading up on things to do and see, three things are made very, very clear. Number 1, David is one of the good guys and it is a good idea to contact him in advance. Number 2, Sly One’s parties are well worth attending if one is going down when you are in Lima so contact him in advance too. Number 3, if you don’t speak Spanish, you’re fucked (well, not in our sense, but you get my meaning!).
I arrived in Lima on board a plane where apparently only one of the stewardesses spoke English, a bad omen for sure. And am I the only one who gets a juntaesque feeling when the pilot introduces himself as commandante? He needs a greasy moustache, 70s style Ray Bans and a penchant for guns, cold drinks and warm women with a title like that.
Anyway, the car from the hotel is there and it is in the middle of the night when we drive from Callao to Lima. There is almost no life at all on the streets, which is in marked contrast to f.ex. Bangkok at midnight when the party, any party really, is just getting started. Ditto for parts of Manila, very ditto for Roppongi and ditto for the more fun cities in China.
I had, prior to departing for Lima, contacted the infamous David. David is a straight-written man, with an enviable set of connections in town. He had arranged for one of them, and one with decent English, to be my partner. And from here on, the names have been changed to protect the not-so-innocent.
Maria showed up a little late for her appointment, blaming traffic disruptions due to a marathon in town. No sweat. Jet-lag had me wide awake anyway. She looked like the kind of woman you would see on the street and throw glances at as she was walking towards you. It’s the eyes, man, the eyes: Almond-shaped and full of a wicked glee - the eyes of a woman who knows how to give and take pleasure.

I was in Lima last month, only for one day. Send a PM to David 33, and it was in Philippines, but is a very good friend and help me at the distance of 11.000 km. I took TACA a couple of years ago, and paid around $170 US at the same time that LAN was charging $390 for non-Peruvian customers. Only problem was that LAN had several flights a day, and TACA had only one flight a day.
BTW, one caveat against planning a trip to Macchu Picchu in a bare minimum amount of time is that you may need some time to adjust to the altitude. I was a waste case for the first 2 days I was in Cusco, despite drinking the recommended Coca tea. OTOH, the sacred valley is actually 3000-5000 feet LOWER in elevation than Cusco is, so some folks recommend heading immediately from Cusco to either Olyantytambo or Aguas Calientes to mitigate this effect. Others recommend spending 2-3 days in Cusco first to acclimatize to the altitude before heading to Macchu Picchu, but there is some controversy as to the best way to deal with it.
FYI, Cusco is at an elevation of around 11300 feet, while most of the Sacred Valley ranges from 6000-8000 feet, and Macchu Picchu itself is at 8200 feet. So really, the place that gives one Altitude Sickness is Cusco itself, not the Inca Trail and surroundings, which is noticeably lower elevation.

LAN will fuck you anyway they can. Remember the earthquake in chile last year ? Their whole system was messed up for a few days and they gave out misleading info on their website. Also beware of the baggage nazis. Some wench comes to the boarding area

I should provide an update. Later that week we met up at Boulevard de Los Olivos and I paid her S/. 300. We met at 8pm and she said I had her until whenever I wanted. Walking up the jetway was really hell. I took my medicine and was okay. I never experienced any altitude sickness. I'm used to the 8000 feet in Bogota so I didn't have any problems once outside of Cusco city. I tried some of the tea with my meal while waiting for the train in OllayT just to check it out. The hotels in Cusco city have the tea and the leaves for free. You can get a small plastic bag of the leaves in the grocery store for S/1. They also have coca candy. I bought some of the candy but I still haven't opened the pack. And that has been since January. I never noticed any oxygen in any of the hotels.

I've been to boulevard a few times over the years, and that's the first time I've seen anything like that.
Agreed that many of them are just looking to have a good time out with friends dancing. It's also a good time for the gringos as well, provided they act right. There are working girls in the area (gals working the hostal area), just not there on the Blvd.

I used Taca from Lima to Cuzco . I bought ticket via web, it works fine.
Then I wandered around peru with Star Peru, bought tickets via web too.
Star peru has the bad habit of changing the scheduled flights, both time and date, and don't even warn you. I took 6 flights of Star peru and none of them was at the scheduled time. But their price is unbeateable.
Taca was on time both ways. Other Taca flight was 6 hours late.
Please consider you are in South America, things go this way.
The lower is the price, the more naif is the service. Decide what you want.
Btw, when I was in airports, I saw many LAN flights delayed or deleted too.
It is a matter of luck.

Most of us living/staying nearby Cafe Z use the Ricardo Palma station. If you are staying around San Martin and areas south then use the Benavides station.

I visited the infamous Tequila Sunrise in Lima. You pay a small cover which entitles you to a drink and then descend downstairs to a bar. The place seems much bigger than what it is due to the presence of mirrors. The Peruvian women are not nearly as hot as the Colombian women but they seem a lot nicer and warmer. That's correct, it's actually a very good security measure except when you really need to withdraw more. During the day, at the branch locations I have withdrawn morre than $3,000 with just my debit card and passport..But that's at Interbank which is the easiest account to get.

Anyway, always count your money from these machines particulary if it is in a small store or non-bank ATM and keep your receipts.
Two minor cautions:
1) Was just in starbucks in Larcomar with my small knapsack (with my laptop in it) and notice 2 women, definitely from the wrong side of the tracks, one fat and ugly the other Ok in a hardcore kind of way.

I looked at the notes quickly, and didn't notice anything, but when i got back to lima, I noticed one of the s100 notes was a fake. A good fake, but when I asked in a shop if it was ok they said they didn't think so.
I'm just lucky they didn't give me ALL fake 100s notes.
So, stick to the proper money changers, or make sure you know how to spot the fakes (by looking at the '100' at different angles, it clearly changes colour)

I was in Lima the beginning of November for the second time. Second time was much better with much knowledge from the forum and David 33.

This report is kind of late...sorry. I had three nights in Lima, but did not have chance to RTFF until after I arrived. It had been a while since I was last in Lima. It is surprisingly easy to do everything wrong here. Being a lazy monger, Lima has become one of my top destinations, perhaps THE top destination at this moment. Once again, I have to thank David_33 for this. His network of cute, young non-pros may not be unique on itself but he is the first guy that is letting us tap into it. All these girls are GFE material! I would like to make it down to Lima in late January as I have never been there that time of year. If I do, will try to make contact. My last two SA trips were in the summer and late fall 2010 to Colombia. First trip was to Medellin / Cartagena and the second was mainly Cartagena and some nice mountain colonial towns (Villa De Leyva, Barichara, San Gil). So I've spent a few days in Lima, part mongering, part enjoying the city, and as this is a mongering website, there is no need for me to talk of the touristy things.
So as the title says, nothing new to add, what is said here, has been said before, I just wanted to give back a little, so here are a few observations:
Park Kennedy.
This is nothing like what I expected, it is smaller, cleaner, brighter. Day and night, you will see this area populated by families, local guys and gals out enjoying themselves, tourists, young people, older people.
It is a complete mix, and not the seedy place I had imagined, mixed in with this "normal" crowed are streetwalkers, but not the overly aggressive ones I had heard off.
Some very good looking ones, some rough, a few older, a few young, and apparently a couple of transsexuals thrown in for good measure. One was pointed out, and another I had my suspicions, but both were very passable!
The "niceness" of this area was a little disappointing, as I do love the seedy nature of our hobby, there is a buzz added to the fun when you go cruising in the seedy back streets of red light areas.

Join one of the dating agencies and line up your dates before you arrive. Strongly suggest you look for a place facing the Ocean where you get the breezes coming thru, then not having A / C isn't really an issue. Several members on ISG offer great rooms in their apartmernt (some with A / C some without) , including my place (don't need it at all) , right on the Malecon facing the ocean.

I agree that 80 with a breeze doesn't seem too bad however there can be a LOT of nighttime noise in Lima depending on your location. Even high floors can pick up dogs barking, car alarms and general traffic noise. I prefer AC running with the windows closed in those situations. (the AC can act as "white noise") Also depending on where your windows are located, having them open or closed can affect security as well.
This is just me but I'd rather have the option even if I don't have to use it.

During my last trip, I went with the sage advice of David_33 and left Peru a very happy man.
