If you do not plan to go to any grocery stores, restaurants, or take any domestic flights, you will be fine without it.

Pizza alley has also gone thru some transformation. They have cleaned out SWs and now you can see entire families enjoying a meal.

Lima appears to be getting back to normal so expect to have a good time.

My guess is that by this summer, most things will get back to normal. Everybody is tired and longing to normality.

Nightlife in Lima has always been vivid and as for company.

I'm sure you'll have some great time there. I miss Lima.

Tekila Rock is back in business, I went to check it out some two weeks ago. Maybe I was not lucky, maybe it was a bad day or maybe it's just that it needs a little more time to catch up, but the girl's quality was not quite as it was before the pandemia and the attendance (guys and girls alike) was quite low. Girls were asking for USD 100 (or 350/400 soles) average, none of them were worth that much to my taste.

Any bars / clubs similar to Tequilla Rock?Not quite similar but you could try Cabaret Harem. It is more like the old Emmanuelle, but there are lots of and girls for all tastes there. Opens 10:00 pm, sometimes 11:00 pm, but nothing really happens there before midnight or, more likely, 1:00 am. I'd recommend to be there around 11:30 pm so you have time to have a drink or two, feed your eyes and get into the atmosphere of the place before deciding your move.

The Miraflores municipality (City Hall) is bent on "cleaning" the more centric areas in the district so I wouldn't be surprised if it is closed again.

I will visit Lima in 2 weeks, staying in San Isidro / Lince area for 2 weeks.

Here are my notes from the previous 200 messages, which goes back to the worst of the pandemic. Thanks for all the good info. This is what I found useful for my trip. I'm not criticizing the rest. Some are clearly one man's opinion. My comments are in.

Pizza Alley (Calle de las Pizzas in Miraflores) has been gentrified and is not like before. Tequila Rock is closed.

Every business / restaurant / market will ask for your vaccination card, just show a phone pic of it & passport. 2/14/22.

I believe there's a double-mask mandate. Even outside. I was denied entry to a grocery store because I was only wearing one mask instead of two. 2/14.

Las Sirenitas - 10 soles entrance ticket 100 m from club entrance, same side, tickets sign, at a mechanic shop, then knock on LS door if closed. 10/19/21. Best time to go is middle-late afternoon while most men are still working.

Geishas in Santa Anita, same mgt as Las Sirenitas {Google Maps shows both}, layout and atmosphere same, 10 soles to get in, and 50 soles for the deed (15 minutes, not sure). 9/21. The women who work at Geishas are much older, and much less fit as compared to those at Las Sirenitas. One gent said arrived shortly after 16:00 when it reopens (closes 14:00 - 16:00), another aimed to get there 3-4 pm. Discrepancy.

Apps Glambu and Seeking arrangement: pay to join, find different kinds of girls, most of them young from all areas of the city.

A brothel tip: take an incoming taxi that has just delivered his customer to the brothel; that way you can be sure that, at least the customer right before you, arrived to destination safely.

Chongo Arenal: Av. Arenales 2084, Lince,10 am-8 pm. Big green gated door with an intercom for the 20 apartments. A forum says 5, 6, 11,12, 15-20 are occupied. Ring one to get in. Antigen test was 69 soles at Clinica Gonzalez in Lince. Probably more on web. Suizalab will visit your house for the test for an extra 50 soles. Antigen (the 3-6 hour result test) is fine. You do need your passport with you for the covid test. 2/14.

I have a EU digital covid certificate on my phone. Does that work? I have a European ID and would that one work so I can verify myself? Because I wouldn't like to walk around with my passport.I do not know what a digital certificate is, but I just show a picture of my vaccine card on my phone. As for the EU covid certificate, if it is just the QR Code, it won't do because they don't have the App to read the European QR code here (just like they couldn't read my Peruvian QR code over there), but if you can show your name and the Vaccines you've received on the screen, it will do just fine. Anyway, 75% of the time they won't even look at it, just show that you have a certificate (digital or otherwise) and they will let you in. Don't forget the mask rule: One if it is N95 or KN95, two if it is any other.

I'm going to be in Miraflores and would like to know any good bars there and if there are any brothels open anywhere in Lima with permits because I know there were many clandestine places open during the pandemic. I've been in Lima before and I talk Spanish but that was before the pandemic that way I would like your help how to move around there. Is it any other things that I should think about now that the pandemic have change things. I hope you can help my with some answers guys.If you have been in Lima before, then most of the bars and places you know in Miraflores are back in business again. Some brothels (Cucardas, Trocadero.) are still closed; some others (Sirenitas, Geishas.) are working so, if you are into brothels, you'll have no problems satisfying your wishes. Regarding the post-pandemia changes, apart from the places that didn't survive and closed, all is almost back to normal here, just be very careful with the mask requirements especially if you are going to try for street walkers and clandestine places where they will not be so strict with their use; remember that the mask does not protect you, it protects the others from you, so try to make sure the others around you are properly masked unless you think yourself immune to covid.

I've seen many girls on websites work in lince. Would it be a good idea to be there some days?Be there o go there? You can be in Lince in 15 minutes from Miraflores so you can go there anytime without having to stay there. The opposite is also true (as many guys in this forum have found out already), you can stay in Lince for half the cost of staying in Miraflores and go to Miraflores (2. 00 soles or 0.50 Euros by bus) to eat, drink, do shopping or look for hot and expensive girls. Regarding girls in Lince, avoid the streetwalkers; they are mostly Venezuelans managed by very dangerous pimps so they will try to rob you every step of the way, from not complying with what was offered in terms of time and services to drug you and stealing from you while in the room. Of course you can also be lucky and get a good service for a low price. It is a 60/40 chance (on your favor). Clandestine chongos, false massage parlors and girls from ad pages working at motels or apartments are the safest options in Lince, and the prices are way lower than in Miraflores.

My advice: Since you speak Spanish, check the local forums. I prefer perutops, many forists here prefer hermanodeleche or some others, check all of them if you have the time.

First, take into account that charapas are like any other human group in the world so, within the charapa kines, you'll find good ones, regular ones and bad ones, just as with any other group. That said, the truth is that the sexual reputation of the charapas must come from somewhere, so your odds with a charapa kine are a little better than with any other Peruvian kine; but, of course, that's just the odds.

I'm not that neither much into brothels nor ad-sites so most of the girls I've met, I've met through direct recommendation. Most of the charapas I've dated, I met at Sly One's sex parties since most of the girls at his parties were charapas and, after becoming friends outside the party, they introduced me to their other charapa friends. Or cousins. Or sisters. Too bad that Sly One is no longer around.

So, other than traveling to a jungle city (Iquitos, Pucallpa, Tarapoto.) and not having a charapa girl to introduce you to other charapa girls, your best option is to look for them in the web:

- Third option (what I do): once you find a charapa that you like, ask her if she has friends that she can introduce you to (she usually does). Of course you need time for this and you need to first find a girl you like, also it might involve some good money spent since you will probably have to date both girls (repeat with the first one, or arrange a threesome, or both).

I would offer to introduce you to a friend of mine but, unfortunately, I'm out of charapas right now. Sorry for that.

When I go into a restaurant in multiple countries I am able to use my simple camera phone to read the code. I am in the airport in Panama right now and my Korean Samsung had no problem scanning this Panamanian QR code.

Are you saying that a QR code that is used to store medical information such as a covid vaccine does not work the same way?

Last week I was walking back from a hooker's place in Lince after 10pm. I was almost to the block on Petit where the Vennies hang out. I saw 2 bolt past me running across the street. I thought to myself that is an easy way to die. I got to the corner and turned right and there was a crowd and police car with lights flashing. There were 2 Vennies in the back of the car. 2 cops got in on either side making it 4 people in the back seat. The car drove off and people were saying something about them robbing someone.

They have also put a police booth where those chicks hang out. Not sure why they would not just move to another block. What makes that block so special?

There are certain apps for certain QR codes? I thought they were universal or at least somewhat universal. For example, when you download a QR code scanner there is no European or Peruvian or African or Canadian QR scanner to choose from. Well, QR codes are universal as far as I know. It's just that, in the EU, they have the "EU Digital COVID Certificate" that assigns you a QR code. Then the stores and restaurants and other businesses have an App that reads that QR code and gives back a "Valid" or "Not valid" response depending upon your vaccination status. When I went there, last year, they sometimes scanned the QR code of my Peruvian digital vaccination certificate and, of course, it gave a "Not valid" response. I had to explain that it was a Peruvian QR and that they had to read it with their smartphone or anything other than the EU covid App. They always took my word for good and let me in, but for one restaurant in Bruges where they said "I'm sorry, it's the law, it says not-valid, we can't let you in"... so we just walked across the street to another restaurant just, in front of the first one, where they accepted our explanation (It's from Peru). I can't understand why a restaurant in the center of one of the most touristic cities in Belgium would refuse a Vaccination Certificate from outside the EU, but I really don't care; the other restaurant was just as good and the bill came up to a healthy amount (plus tips) so it was their loss, not mine.

I don't know what would happen if the QR code of the EU Digital COVID Certificate is scanned by a regular phone or scanner (without the EU Covid App), but I do know that almost no restaurant, mall or store in Lima has a scanner at the door, so just the QR code will do no good. What will work is the actual vaccination certificate (or an image of it), if it can be shown in your own cellphone screen.

Clicking on any shows the location and a forum. Looking around there you can tell if it is open or not. Not on the list is chongo Arenal which I echoed in 5272. When I use google chrome, it asks me if I want the whole page translated to English.

Two of the ones I want to visit are Las Sirenitas (The Little Mermaids, not a Disney property ha ha) and La Colmena (The Hive). Both show in google maps after you make it show Lima. They are in north Lima near the Naranjal end of the BRT Metropolitan dedicated-lane bus system. I haven't used it but am going to try on my upcoming trip. It would be cheaper and faster than a taxi or uber. I saw online that the last bus leaving Naranjal is at 11 PM and the next one is not until 3:30 AM (if memory serves). Also saw that these busses are crowded.

Can a local comment on using the BRT?

Las Sirenitas has been covered here well. I went twice in 2020 just before the pandemic hit. I loved it because it is a buffet of putas! For s30 then, 50 now (about 14 usd), you can fuck a chica for 15 minutes. Since it takes a real expert to make me come in 15, I can sample as many as I want. Few are escort quality but I found plenty. You are not getting the best food at a buffet. On my walk arounds, I mostly chose ones that showed some interest (sexy glance, arm touching, etc), then I talked a bit in my bad Spanish, verified the price and time and what they will do, and said ok if all was good. Best memory is one who reached over a guy that was talking with her and grabbed my arm. I went back later and we had a good time. I think I was the only white guy there which seemed like a bit of an advantage. Some guys were friendly and the rest didn't bother me, except for one security guy who badgered me for a red bull which I considered an investment.

This is relatively old news, but that is because I don't frequently go to brothels. However, curiosity led me to investigate and this is what I've found:

As we know, the place generally known as "El Troca" or "El Trocadero" actually comprised three side-by-side brothels: "El Botecito" (the first from the left), "El Trocadero" and "La Salvaje"; these last two were interconnected and in fact functioned as one. As of some time now, "El Botecito" is back in business but "El Trocadero" and "La Salvaje" are being demolished and will not reopen ever again.

The reason, for all I know, is that the owner of the place died from covid in the early days of the pandemia and her only son, and direct heir, died a few weeks later also from covid. As a result, some not-so-close relatives inherited the property and they are not interested in the brothel business; so the property is being (or has been) sold for other uses.

Went there today and it was very easy to find. Took El Metropolitano Bus System from Ricardo Carpa Station in Miraflores to the end, which is Naranjal Station. I recommend you pull up their website and get the correct bus numbers, as some buses skip quite a few stations and some do not even go all the way to the end where Naranjal is. I took the Express Bus that says EX-5 over the driver. Took 40 minutes in both directions, and we were flying past stopped traffic and stuck taxis. You have to buy a card (tarjeta) for 4. 50 soles and then it takes 2. 50 soles each way. So, it is faster and way cheaper to go by bus, and safe. At Naranjal, it is 300 meters or so down a side road (Taladros) from the station to get to La Colmena. It has a huge sign over the door and it is 10 soles to enter. Got there around 4 and there were about 25 chicas already manning their rooms. This is way nicer than The Trocadero ever was. Each room is clean and well lit and has a lot of creams, lube, and wash-up stuff. The biggest area is where the bar is and there are a bunch of tables with a stage and some loud music playing, though there was nothing happening on the stage. The only less than desirable area was the bathroom, but oh well. The chicas were all in their 20's and all but 2 were slim. Lima felt rather dirty but after a while I got used to it. My recommendation is to stay in Lince, and not the beach. I stayed in an AirBnB there that was *really* nice, and honestly one of my favorites from my 3 years of travel. A great way to cap off a long haul.

There are quite a few streetwalkers in this area, most of them will be dressed a bit "work-slutty". Usually travel in packs or duos. Just say what's up and they'll ask you if you want service if they're working. When I say walking, I mean walking. The police regularly will chase them down for loitering if they're standing at a corner during the day. So they are typically on the move.

Probably went through a good few of them, they weren't the insane quality as was Buenos Aires but still many of them were fairly young, most in their early 20's. Thanks. According to the girls and security guys at the places that are open… The places open are not open legally and are paying to stay open and that is why Cucardas hasn't opened. This is also what a few girls I know who were working at Cucardas pre pandemic and now work at Geishas and Sirenitas told me.

Sorry if your feelings get hurt. Miraflores is a great place. But as far as mongering goes I think it is well known that it does not compare to other places. Your posts are always the same thing. You get angry if anyone disagrees with you. Again, IF the guy wanted info on girls in Miraflores then it's a different answer. Sorry about him, he's making us look bad. Peru is probably not as good as Columbia but we have a lot of Venezuelan foreigners visit us because the currency trades really with the USD (Peruvian SOL is the strongest currency in SA) so the Venezuelan girls prefer to come work here, because USD is what they use in Venezuela since the collapse, this means lot of high quality girls can be found here.

Outside of Miraflores Peru does look "messy" but its a giant city with 8 different red light zones Lince, Mega Plaza, Mall del Norte, Jiron Zepita, SJL, SJM, Ate, and El Salvador. January 2022 I was in Lima and checked that Club 69 Surquillo was open, so I went to see the action one night at around 11 pm. Now there are two clubs in the same address. The door of the left is a regular disco and the door to the right is the night club. It was Thursday and it was slow, but when I was leaving the place a guy arrived in a taxi bringing 4 cuties, I almost returned. The place is now managed by Venezuelan guys that seemed right people to me. No vaccine checks or mask at all.

It turns out that Sunday and Mondays a lot of businesses are not allowed to be open just yet. And those that are, certainly not late. While I had never seen that happen before, there are quiet moments now around Parque Kennedy.

I got over to are and V by the Interbank building and learned that you need to call in advance to make an appointment now. I called and made an immediate appointment and had a good old time. Prices have gone up pretty largely though. I couldn't afford to go 2 x. Or, I didn't see the value, even though I really love what they offer.

Clubs are open on pizza street still. Though some have turned over a new leaf. Sabor Peruano is now a "bachata club" and damn, there are some good dancers out there. They seem to take their business seriously there, though there are still many ladies showing up there to hawk their wares.

Tequila Rock is definitely up and running. It has changed its name to TQL Lounge, though. They now have a kitchen as they are able to be open as a "Resto-Bar. " It's still the same old game though. General going rate there seems to be pretty high still.

Anyway, I jumped the gun. I still had a great time in Lima. Just don't count on it on a Sunday or Monday.

Having some trouble getting sildenafil down here. I think the pharmacies have become more strict about having a prescription. It's already hard enough to find in 20 MG dose.

What are you guys doing to get it?I am surprised to read that, I buy it all the time and have no problem with it.

For sure you won't find it in 20 MG dose, it's never been sold here in that dose, but you can find in tn 50 MG and 100 MG doses in almost any pharmacy here and without prescription.

I just bought a 100 MG pill (to be used this very evening) this morning for 4. 00 soles at a random pharmacy I stopped by in my way to work.

Ask for "generico", it will be much cheaper, they will offer you "de marca" (brand) which is exactly the same, only more expensive.

I never saw Sildenafil being sold at 20mg anywhere in the world. It's either 50 or 100.It comes in 20 MG to deal with some heart conditions. Higher doses (25+) are the boner pills.

I've been to Lima a couple of times and just not in the groove to use Jockey's services. For my last trip it worked out. A bit less than a week out I made arrangements with a suitable prospect. I see some of the apartments on Airbnb aren't allowing visitors not on the itinerary due to COVID concerns. Any help would be appreciated? Caution, this is a long trip report.

Welcome to Lima, one of my favorite cities in the world!

Logistics:

Flight:

I flew United round trip from San Diego using my travel credits from all the flights I had to cancel. The flight was 3 hours to Houston and another 6 to Lima. Before the flight, United had me complete a few things in their Travel Ready Center:

Proof of Passport.

Proof of being vaccination.

Health questioner for Peru.

Travel insurance:

I purchase travel insurance from World Nomads for around 80 bucks. Why? During these times, "Quien sabe?

Pinche covid tests:

There were no tests required going to Peru and coming back to the US.

Logging:

I rented a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, in Miraflores, one half block from the ocean and less than 2 blocks from Larcomar. I rented through Airbnb. My host was outstanding in every aspect. The cost was $120 a night. There was 24 hour security and I had no problems bringing different women into the place. Whenever I returned to the apartment, I always brought chips and a soda for the security guard; they took great care of me!

Money:

The currency in Peru is Sol. The rate was 1 US dollar to 3. 85 soles. Whatever the amount was in soles, I just divided by 4 for US dollars. I cashed in a bunch of dollars at one of the exchange places, which seems to be everywhere. The bills were all different colors and I did not have any problems figuring out the exchange rate. The coins were a tad confusing because of the sizes. For example, the 2 and 5 coins are smaller than the 1 sole coins. There were many places that did not accept Master Card, but Visa cards were accepted everywhere.

Duty Free:

There is a Duty Free at the airport in Lima. So I stocked up on wine and Baileys. BTW, the girls love Baileys; so make sure you bring some!

Communication:

T-Mobile North American plan; say no more! My plan gave me unlimited data at 2 G speed, calls at 20 cents per minute, and free texts. Thus, I started using WhatsApp on my regular phone. I started chatting with my Airbnb host before I left. As long as I had a WiFi signal, WhatsApp was free of charge. I was chatting on Fuckbook, Tinder, and Skype; including video calls for no extra charge whatsoever. And Google maps always came in handy!

Transportation:

From the airport and back, my host helped me obtain a good driver; 20 bucks or 80 soles. In Lima, I used Uber quite often; very cheap and safe. If I was in a hurry, I used regular taxis, which were dirt cheap in Lima. 5 to 10 soles can get you pretty much anywhere, including San Isidro, Lince, and Barranco. I used all types of transportation and never had any issues.

I used a driver named Sergio to go from club to club on two different nights. He is reliable, safe, and I trust him. He charged me 50 soles per hour. I have his WhatsApp number if anyone needs his service. He only speaks Spanish.

Pinche covid stuff:

Lima is taking this thing seriously. To enter most big stores and malls, proof of vaccination is required, and masks will be worn at all times. Ever though Larcomar is an outdoor mall, the procedures were the same. When I went into Wong, I had to wear two masks just to get into the downstairs small shopping area. But here is the weird thingy, once you enter, you can remove one of the masks! WTF! Basically, everyone was wearing masks outside, except most foreigners. I always respect the country I visit, thus, I wore a mask outside as well.

Spanish school:

I returned to the Spanish school Peruwayna. I took classes from 4-6 pm, Monday through Friday, for one week. I paid for 10 private classes, which came out to be just over 10 US per hour. My maestra was great! But she was also quite hot, so I did get distracted during the lessons. Peruwayna also took my Visa card for the payment. Each day, I brought churros for the teachers and staff; simple gestures go a long way.

Miraflores:

What a great district! The place has a great vibe, from the streets, to Larcomar, to Parque Kennedy. It is one of the safest cities I have been to throughout my travels. Because it was their winter, it got pretty chilly at night. I only saw the sun one day!

Food & Drinks:

I ate and drank at a butt-load of restaurants:

Haiti. Very good.

La Bonbonniere. Great risotto.

Tanta Great chow.

Manolo. Buying churros for the teaching staff at my school.

La Lucha Sangucheria. My go to lunch spot; great fucking sandwiches.

El Cascajal. With a local show (no more buffet).

Panchita One of my favorite restaurants in the world.

El Bodegon Excellent chow.

Every meal I had was either very good or pretty damn good!

The Women:

Because the trip was to focus on Spanish, I contacted several women on Tinder, Fuckbook, and Kinesiologas. The ones I contacted had no English speaking skills. This does take a lot of time, texting, and effort. I also met with a previous woman from my last trip. Sad note: Two of my favorite girls died from cancer over the last three years; I missed them.

On a happy note: Three years ago, I met this hot civie in Rustica (Barranco) and we went out one time. Before my trip, I contacted her via WhatsApp and we chatted quite a bit. I took her to El Cascajal and we had a blast. Later in my apartment, we shared a good bottle of champagne and rack operations began. Take note: Do not contact the women too early on those sites before your trip; they tend to lose interest after 1 or 2 weeks. I learned this lesson the hard way three years ago and this trip as well.

She wanted to meet in Borda, which is not that far from Miraflores, but it seemed farther in traffic. The date was set for 7 pm. My Uber driver arrived at some spot in Borda, but we didn't have a clue where to go next. Finally, she told me the cross road and told me to get a room at Hotel Gold Source.

Thus, I did and the room cost 80. I went to the room and waited. Well, 30 minutes went by, and then an hour went by. I texted her a few more times and she kept saying she was on her way. I'm a very patient man, but at 8:30, I said fuck that puta and left. When I returned to Miraflores at 9, she texted me and said she was at the hotel. Too late! At that point, I gave up on Kinesiologas!

My Tinder experience:

This process takes a shit-load of time! Two weeks before I got there, I had 5 dates set-up. One week before I got there, I only had 4 dates. When I got there, I only had 3 dates. And two of those dates went to hell in a handbasket! I had 2 no-shows, but at least they told me ahead of time.

I had one solid date on Monday evening and it was a shit-show! As soon as we got into the Taxi, she asked me where was her new cell phone that I was supposed to bring for her birthday. I was shocked, but only for a minute (I recovered quickly).

I told her, "I don't know shit from Shinola about you! What in the Sam Hill made you think I would buy you a cell phone? (I had to say it in a different way because I could not translate those sentences). We went to Bumfuck Egypt to go to a Tanta restaurant. Even though there were two pinche Tanta restaurants near my apartment!

We finally reached the mall / restaurant in Bumfuck Egypt and got a table for two. She was completely weird during our meal and kept mentioning the damn cell phone. When we left the restaurant, she quickly pointed out a cell phone store. She wanted to go into the store, but I said, "That's not going to happen!" The place is up and running, but it was nothing like before pinche covid. I stopped by there 3-4 times, no chicas to be had.

Club Sabor Peruano:

This used to be my go to spot; I pulled several chicas out of that club for a few years. But, just like the Old Pub, it was nothing like before pinche covid. I checked on the club 3-4 more times, but it was quite dead. However, I was there Friday night and I saw a couple of girls from 3 years ago and two of them had a drink with me. I really wasn't interested in either one and decided to leave.

OK, few things. Food's my area.

Dada restobar has a phenomenal kitchen. Osaka & Cala are also delightful, but expensive. Panchita in miraflores is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Rafael has a great classy vibe.

Central / Maido / Mayta require evening reservations months in advance. I haven't gotten to Maido yet, but Central was life-changing. Mayta was excellent as well.

Bogota has a Central copy called LEO, the food there is so bland, like typical colombian food.

Peruanas love to go to fancy restaurants. They'll always have good recommendations. There's a few places that are fancy but trash though: Rosa nautica, Shi-nua, astrid & gaston.
