On my way back from Peru, I had one night in Lima and decided to find a place closer to the airport than Miraflores. I stayed in San Miguel at the Hotel Melodia. It is right on Av. La Marina across from the big shopping mall. The rooms were a bit small but with a queen size bed, clean, hot shower, and my room at least was off the street and quiet. The cost was $38. 00US including tax. I did not try bringing in a chica so do not know whether it is chica friendly.

That afternoon I walked down to the Spa that is on the Lima Lists on this forum. There it is called La Marina Spa at Av. La Marina 2865, but look for the sign for Hostal Arizona which is much more obvious. The entry cost was S. /25 (not S. /20) and beers were S. /10. This was my first time in such a place and I did not really know what to expect. First you turn in all your valuables to be kept in a locker and then strip completely. They give you a towel to wrap around you. Mostly it is old men there for the sauna and jacuzi, but there were a couple of decent looking chicas there. I drank some beers and chatted with one of them, trying to keep my towel from rising too obviously between my legs. She was really cute and friendly, but I had decided to save my leche for later that night. She first said the cost to go to a room would be S. /200, then later dropped it to S. /150. I don't know whether that included the cost of the room. I asked about just a massage, but she said only the flaca one gave massages. All in all a very good experience there, nice and relaxing, looked like it would have been a good time with the chica who I would have rated 7-8.

That night I wanted to go to a night club, but one for the locals instead of the rip-off places for turistos. I got a cab and asked to go to the Oasis in el centro (which is recommended on the Lima list here). After we started going down some pretty dark dismal streets, the taxi driver cautioned me that it was in a very bad part of town, "muy peligroso". I decided to listen to him and he said he could take me to a much better place. That turned out to be the VERY expensive Eclipse Club, which wanted S. /80 just to get in the door. Not what I wanted at all. I got back in the taxi and told him just to take me back to my hotel. He said he knew of another place in el centro that was not so expensive nor dangerous. He took me to Las Cucardas (see the Lima list under "brothels").

The entrada was S. /20 and they give you a condom and a little slip of paper that you need to keep for later. There was a bar and a stage and the beers were S. /10. It was a Friday night and the place was packed, but had a good feeling to it. I sat and drank beers and enjoyed the shows which were really exceptional. The chicas dancing were some of the best I have seen anywhere. Not so much in the looks but in the originality of their dancing. They really seemed to get into it.not just going through the motions. Some of them came down off the stage and worked with the audience, very entertaining. They also had some honest to goodness choreography with mimes, dancers etc. A real show to watch.

There were also rooms all up and down the hallways, numbering up to #43! The chicas standing outside the rooms (the ones with the doors still open) were a mixed group ranging from 5's to maybe 7's at the best. The cost for a pop was S. /50. The same for all the chicas. After a couple of hours enjoying the entertainment and after drinking several beers I walked up and down the halls to pick out my chica for the night. I found one that looked okay, maybe a 6 or 7, and got my rocks off, then called it a night. There was plenty of security and taxis waiting outside, so not a problem for this old Gringo. Altogether I spent S. /100 for about 3 hours of beer, entertainment and a quick fuck. Not bad at all.

After two short nights in Lima though, I must say I prefer San Jose for my style of mongering. I think I understand why David 33 keeps so busy organizing parties. That must be the best way to go in Lima.

Just got back from my 3 week trip in Peru, mostly business in the Iquitos and Tarapoto areas, but with a little time for mongering activity as well. It was my first time in Peru. I benefitted greatly from the posts here, so will hopefully help someone else by sharing my experiences. Here are my first impressions of Lima. I will add posts on Iquitos and Tarapoto on those pages a little later.

Got in to Lima about midnight and the "official" taxis inside the airport wanted an astonishing $50 US to take me to Miraflores. I went outside and tried to bargain there but the best I got was $20 US. After a wild ride along the coastal road I got to Hotel Maria Luisa about 1:30 AM. I had a junior suite there and I would say it was only passable. In my opinion.

I walked down to see what the famous Tequila Rocks was like. What I found after paying their S. /30 entrada was a very smoky and loud disco with a few well experienced pros standing around the dance floor. The place is much smaller than I had expected, and so loud that my half-ass Spanish would not stand a chance of starting a decent conversation with a chica. I drank a S. /10 Cusqueña then left. Not my kind of place at all!

I then walked around Parque Kennedy and up and down Pizza Alley. The SW's there were pretty rough looking, and it was nearly 3 AM so I just walked back to the Maria Luisa and saved my leche for Iquitos the next night.

The Maria Luisa got me a taxi back to the airport the next day for only S. /30. So I guess I really got ripped off on the way in.

Overall my impression of Lima was pretty bad that first night, but fortunately I had a much better experience three weeks later when I returned there. Will write up the details on that in a later post.

There are some other smaller ones around....I think one is called "sexy" or something like that, on the parallel road to Puente Quiñones where the TVs hang out. I checked it out once...a few cuties. There are another couple of places near Madonna too..just look for the red lights in the doors.

Not as many though as can be found on Tomas Valle coming from the airport. Have you seen how many little clubs with chicks there are on that road? Too bad Nibu isn´t around anymore...used to be his neighborhood. Unfortunately everytime I´m there, I´m either going on a trip or coming back from one and loaded down with luggage which makes checking out clubs difficult.

I just found the ISG site a few days ago and I'm amazed at all the information and how everyone is so helpful to one another. I know I'm not as experienced as most of you "mongers" so please don't flame me for basic or old information. I RTFF & I'm trying to contribute as best as I can.

I was in Peru for 10 days in the early half of April 2008. I stayed at Suites-Eucaliptus Hotel midway between Park Kennedy & Larcomar in Miraflores. The hotel offers airport pickup for $12. It's a great convenience if it's your first time in Lima as it was for me. The rooms are clean, 2-3 star quality and cost $50 but include continental breakfast. The hotel is girl friendly such that it is no problem to bring a girl but they charge $10 more. $60 is the 2 person rate.

Surprisingly, I was not too tired even after 24 hours of travel time from Hawaii so I went to Pizza Alley for some food not knowing what to expect. During my late supper, a really nice tour guide named Jorge noticed that I was dining alone & started to chat with me. He invited me to join him & his friend Dante to go to TR. Since TR Miraflores was closed, we drove to San Isidro TR. I was impressed at how nice the girls were. Drinks were cheap & the girls were not pushy. Unfortunately, I speak very little Spanish but Jorge explained everything to me. His friend, Dante, was visiting from out of Lima & wanted a girl. He found a beautiful girl in her early 20s and negotiated a 350ns all nighter. I would have taken her myself because she was a stunner but the jetlag was setting in and I was TIRED. I took a taxi back to my hotel & slept.

I flew to Cusco on Monday to see Macchu Picchu. I stayed in a clean hostel in Lima w/ private bath, TV, continental breakfast, & wireless internet for only $15 per night! Early the next morning, I took the Vista Dome class of rail service ($71 USD one-way) to Aguas Calientes. During the 4 hour train ride we had good food & drinks and some entertainment by the car attendants. I stayed one night at Macchu Picchu Hostal for $30. Although it is rated 2 star it was super clean & had a great shower & fantastic full breakfast buffet but no internet & no TV. I went to Macchu Picchu the next day but all I could think of was returning to Lima to hook-up with Toni. There is also a $6 each way bus ride from Aguas Calientes to Macchu Picchu that takes 20 minutes. You can hike it in about an hour or pay $6 & save your back & lungs! FYI, there was no mongering that I could find in Cusco but I also wasn't so interested as the altitude was still affecting me. It was tough just to walk slightly uphill! Do your shopping for Alpaca and other trinkets in Cusco! It is cheaper than Aguas Calientes & much cheaper than Lima. RT Lima-Cusco air on Lan was $130 USD, very clean, on-time, in-flight food & drinks provided! Book online for easy advance tickets that you can print out at your home, hotel, or office. I left my large suitcase in my Lima Hotel securely locked and simply took my backpack with some extra clothes & my laptop w/ toilet kit.

I called Toni & asked her to make reservations at a 5 star hotel for us. She chose Maria Angola for $95 USD per night including breakfast & dinner every night for 2 people, king size bed and a jacuzzi bath. Toni is in her mid 20s & I'm 40 so she f'ed MY brains out morning & night! I couldn't keep up with her. My favorite was BBBJTCWS anytime I wanted. A true GFE for me! For the record, Toni is not a professional & I didn't pay her for anything except dinners/drinks/sightseeing together. I'm still in email contact with her as she is one of the top XXX experiences of my life!

Forgive me but I have 2 questions that are probably very basic to you mongers: 1) I realize that since YMMV, do you always pay before sex or try to pay after sex with tips if warranted.

2)Is Sly Guy back in Lima? Will he be hosting his orgies again? I didn't know about them when I was in Lima but I think they were closed too. They are enough reason for me to return to exciting Lima!

Yeah Sushilover808, you got lucky with the Parque Kennedy SW. I've looked at rooms there and they look great but I have always been concerned about their girl policy.

ThanksThe Maria Angola is a great value at the $95 USD per night promotional price. It included breakfast & dinner (room service or in restaurant) every night for 2 people, LAN connection, king size bed and a jacuzzi bath. They claim they are 5 star but I would give them a 4 star because except for a restaurant, there are no amenities like a pool or gym. I loved the fast & friendly room service. More time for shagging!

I booked for 3 nights but my room wasn't ready so I was upgraded to a suite on the top floor with living room, huge jacuzzi, & sauna for 2 nights at no additional charge. I had to move to a regular room for the third night but it was still nice with sitting area & jacuzzi bathtub. Be sure to pay in cash USD as they give a horrible exchange rate.

As for the girl/guest policy, I didn't have any problem. I had my friend stay with me every night & visit during her lunch break. That's not necessarily true. I have had a bunch of sessions with the girls from Pizza Street and I have had only two experiences that I felt were spectacularly underwhelming. You do have to be careful about the travestis, though. They generally are apart from the real girls but sometimes they mingle. If you see someone taller than most girls and with much more makeup you might want to steer clear.

Your best bet is to make friends with some of the local mongers, buy them some drinks, then have them point out their favorites. When I lived in Miraflores I was always pointing out my favorites to friends, so I'm sure others are too.

Maria Angola was up to last year graded a 4 star hotel. Didn't know their rating was elevated to a 5 star.

Late last year through the beginning of this year, they did an upgrade.

New carpets, new paint etc. and raised their prices significantly.

The best way is to do it is via the purchase of a "pre-venta", which is available to travel agents in blocks of 50 nights. I did that up to 2 years ago and paid as low as $30.00/night for a King size bed or a Junior Suite, including breakfast.

The pre-venta is going now for around $45 so if there are enough guys traveling at the same time, it would pay to share the 50 night blocks, which incidentaly can be used within 12 months.

The alternative is to contact a cool travel agent who will only charge you $10 or $15 extra/night so would still put you ahead of the $90/night you would pay if you book it personally.

I am surprised Sushilover didn't see any security. They are usually all over. They have an office next to the main entrance and are very good at recognizing "girls", but they are cool as long as the girl leaves her id at the counter. When they get to know you they are much more relaxed.

The hotel has a convention center across the street where the Caballeros.com or TLC folks have their 'conventions' twice a year and stay at the hotel.

The restaurant is usually a mad house during the convention. Guys come down for breakfast with one girl, they show up for lucnh with another, they manage an afternoon drink with another y yet dinner with another.

Woke up, had breafast with Erica and am getting ready to fly to Peru. Decided to take a walk and hit Carrefour first, its a supermarket behind the Florida, about a 7 minute walk, with a 6 screen movie complex and a food court. Onward to the Exito, thats bout a 10 minute walk and there are dozens of small restaurants near it. A waitress court my eye at Donde Michel, calle 48D No 65A-50 so I stopped by and had a coffee.

Still walking around, I see a group of chicas in white so I go over and its a school for cosmotology.

I took a 5, 000 peso taxi to a 6, 000 peso bus to get back to the airport.

Getting out was a mess cause they wanted the exit fee and I paid it thru American but they sorted it out and I arrvived in Lima at 8:30 PM and they move you thru customs very fast and then the 45 minute taxi ride which was 50 Sols or $18 to the Hotel Maria Luisa where I opted for the 60 Sols room. The flight attendants on Taca were very pretty. I hope to see that quality in Lima.

Met up with Bcell and we hit Pizza Alley for a meal and there were 5 *****s out, nothing special. One wanted 120 Sols. We then checked out Tequila Rocks and there were 5 chicas there, then we moved on to Emmanuels where there were about 20 but the salida was $45 and the chicas wanted $120 for 2 hours. The quality at the casas in Medellin were as good as this place on a Wednesday night. Chicas were pretty friendly.

My fear is being redundent and sayng the same stuff every newbe says after their visit, so what I will say is what I feel I learned which will affect how I approach my NEXT visit to Lima. That is, what I will do different next time so I have an even better time. I have learned some SPANISH. I don't think I will get the grammar right for a long time, but just knowing enough words and phrases to communicate with some confidence opens up your opportunities to meet non-pros. And have more fun with pros. I had a few friends in Lima Busy and David 33 who translated for me on occasion, but the problem is that unless the girl speaks some English, which is not common amongst the girls who will be most interested in the average ISG memeber, there is a certain coldness you get from the girls when you can't even attempt to speak their language. David 33 introduced me to a very sexy girl who was fun, but who I know I would have had a better time with if we could have communicated better. She was frustrated that we couldn't talk more. These girls really want to get to know you and that to me is a key is really hot sex. The girls I met in the clubs who spoke good English I found acted like US girls. Unfriendly with the I'm waiting form Brad Pitt to say Hi attitude. The friendly sexy Peruvian women don't seem to be the ones who speak English. Beyond learning the language, I would look for Non-Pro girls I could pick up that night and take home or at most date once. Trying to meet and date a girl a few times when you only there for a few weeks can seem like a bit of an accomplishment, I got a few numbers, even with no Spanish, of a few local English speaking shop girls (not the English speaking Larcomar club girls who I found totally bitchy) but finally realized that unless I planned to come down a lot and maintain the relationship it's a waste of time. I would stay out of this trap next time and go for the party girl type who was looking for fun rather than a potential long term boyfriend. Finally I would explore more than just Miraflores. Up and down the coast I think more opportunities abound. That may just be the grass is always greener, but I believe it is worth the shot. Finally, I would like to thank Lima Busy who rented me his PH and gave me the daily lay of the land when I was there, from helping me set up my cell phone to introducing me to the local expat scene. And David 33 who hooked me up with amazing ladies on several occasions and took me out for a great authentic Peruvian dinner. I can't wait to get back.

Although it is unlikely to happen to you, keep in mind that as a gringo you are a prime target for criminals.

I suggest only carrying as much cash as you need, and leave your credit cards and ATM cards in your hotel unless you know for sure you will be using them.

For ATM withdrawals I recommend returning directly to your hotel after the transaction to secure any extra cash.

It's a good idea to leave chains, watches, rings, or any unnecessary jewelry in the hotel also. If you need to know what time it is your cheap cellphone will tell you.

If you have an MP3 player make sure you have it secured in an inside pocket or one that can be fastened.

When you are in public make sure you keep aware of what's going on around you, and be proactive. When you see something you don't think is correct take action to put yourself in a more secure position.

If you do find yourself in a situation with the criminal element, subdue the urge to be a hero, instead accommodate the wishes of the aggressors, and make sure that when it is all over your body is free of bullet holes or stab wounds.

I just found the ISG site a few days ago and I'm amazed at all the information and how everyone is so helpful to one another. I know I'm not as experienced as most of you "mongers" so please don't flame me for basic or old information. I RTFF & I'm trying to contribute as best as I can.

I was in Peru for 10 days in the early half of April 2008. I stayed at Suites-Eucaliptus Hotel midway between Park Kennedy & Larcomar in Miraflores. The hotel offers airport pickup for $12. It's a great convenience if it's your first time in Lima as it was for me. The rooms are clean, 2-3 star quality and cost $50 but include continental breakfast. The hotel is girl friendly such that it is no problem to bring a girl but they charge $10 more. $60 is the 2 person rate.

Surprisingly, I was not too tired even after 24 hours of travel time from Hawaii so I went to Pizza Alley for some food not knowing what to expect. During my late supper, a really nice tour guide named Jorge noticed that I was dining alone & started to chat with me. He invited me to join him & his friend Dante to go to TR. Since TR Miraflores was closed, we drove to San Isidro TR. I was impressed at how nice the girls were. Drinks were cheap & the girls were not pushy. During the 4 hour train ride we had good food & drinks and some entertainment by the car attendants. I stayed one night at Macchu Picchu Hostal for $30. Although it is rated 2 star it was super clean & had a great shower & fantastic full breakfast buffet but no internet & no TV. I went to Macchu Picchu the next day but all I could think of was returning to Lima to hook-up with Toni. There is also a $6 each way bus ride from Aguas Calientes to Macchu Picchu that takes 20 minutes. You can hike it in about an hour or pay $6 & save your back & lungs! FYI, there was no mongering that I could find in Cusco but I also wasn't so interested as the altitude was still affecting me. It was tough just to walk slightly uphill! Do your shopping for Alpaca and other trinkets in Cusco! It is cheaper than Aguas Calientes & much cheaper than Lima. RT Lima-Cusco air on Lan was $130 USD, very clean, on-time, in-flight food & drinks provided! Book online for easy advance tickets that you can print out at your home, hotel, or office. I left my large suitcase in my Lima Hotel securely locked and simply took my backpack with some extra clothes & my laptop w/ toilet kit.

I called Toni & asked her to make reservations at a 5 star hotel for us. She chose Maria Angola for $95 USD per night including breakfast & dinner every night for 2 people, king size bed and a jacuzzi bath. Toni is in her mid 20s & I'm 40 so she f'ed MY brains out morning & night! I couldn't keep up with her. My favorite was BBBJTCWS anytime I wanted. A true GFE for me! For the record, Toni is not a professional & I didn't pay her for anything except dinners/drinks/sightseeing together. I'm still in email contact with her as she is one of the top XXX experiences of my life!

---Travel light. After losing 2 or 3 suitcases and having others arrive too late to do any good I only take carry-on. Plus there is no waiting at the baggage carousel and that means you get to the immigration/customs lines before those other losers who are still waiting at the baggage carousel and you get outta the airport faster. Plus coming back from Lima to Bermuda, you have to wait at the baggage carousel in Miami and pick up your baggage anyway, only to get through customs and drop it off again so you can wait at the baggage carousel in Bermuda again. ---Carry-on....downside is no liquids over 3 ounces and those gotta be in ziplock bags. No prob....just buy toothpaste, deoderant*and shampoo in Lima. You can take*2 carry-ons. Make sure they are gonna fit on the plane...1*in the overhead bin and 1*under the seat in front of you. I learned to roll my clothes like the army grunts to take up less space. And there is a washer/dryer in the*penthouse in Lima. If ya pack a laptop keep it easy access 'cause ya gotta put it thru x-ray seperately.

About 66 degrees and partly cloudy. Feels cooler 'cause of the humidity....like Bermuda. You'll need a sweatshirt or light jacket. I picked up a leather jacket at the mall in Miami for $150 and I'll take that. 2/3 pairs pants, maybe 1 good pair of Dockers. 4/5 shirts. Remember, you're only gone 8 days and 2 days are spent traveling.

---Power tools...Lima is on 220v electricity. Electrical stuff here ain't gonna work there. No sense taking the hairdryer unless you got a converter. Same thing with a laptop or Ipod*if you are gonna want to charge it up. I bought a converter for $25 at Radio Shack (in Lima) and I always take it with me. *

---Entertainment...take your own condoms...quantity depends on your stamina. I suggest the flavored ones. The chicas will appreciate the cherry flavor as they are slurping on ol' wally. Of course, you may want a bareback blowjob, known as a bbbj in our circle. That's fine, just remember the risk.

Some guys will pick up some trinkets to give the girls. Like thongs, t-shirts, chocolates, perfume, bracelets, etc. A $15 t-shirt that says Miami on it can be a big hit with your favorite chica. (You can check here http://finance.yahoo.com/currency?u) So basically 3 to 1. You'll need cash to pay for the apartment, whatever you need to gamble with and entertainment. Food, drinks and taxi's are cheap. At Tequila Rock, the nightclub we'll be in several times, it cost $30 sols to get in and drinks are kinda expensive. If we hang out in there for a coupla hours, not unusual to spend $100 to $150 US. A Redbull and vodka is about $5 US, which is expensive for Lima. If we get started doing shots of tequila and buying girls drinks, it can get a little expensive. If ya buy a chica a drink, they almost always get the most expensive drink they can. Must be some sorta secret rule for them, don't know why.

Keep this scenario in mind. We've had several drinks, walk into Tequilas at midnight, have 6 more doubles, grab a beautful chica and do 5 shots and then get back to the apartment at 2:30. If you pound the chica for 5 minutes and then passout or go throw up...I would count that night as a loss. Just like football, never lose sight of the goaline.

---You're in a foreign country...Don't be stupid! Always pay attention to your surroundings. Don't walk down a dark alley at night by yourself. Do have a wingman. Never carry more cash than you need. Keep all passports, ID's and extra cash in the safe in the apartment. Never leave anything you don't want stolen laying around the apartment when you have a chica there or even when you're not there. ---Don't EVER drink tap water. Unless you like excruciating stomach cramps, Niagara Falls-like diarrhea, high fevers and teeth chattering chills. I speak from experience. Don't brush your teeth with tap water. Keep your mouth shut in the shower. I even avoid ice in most places.Use only bottled water. Watch what you eat. Be careful about eating eggs, I avoid them. If you start feeling a little queasy, go to the pharmacy...they've got some good drugs. You don't want to upchuck on some pretty chica's head while getting a bbbj....kinda ruins the moment.

---Chicas...Remember, when we leave the country, we have to put all the toys back in the toybox. This is a rental propostion only. They are good actresses, don't fall in love. Treat them like you would treat your favorite girlfriend. Open doors for them. Give them compliments...and I don't mean...Gawd DAM those are some big ol' tities! !!!! But I've had many for $100 for all night (toda la noche) or $80 for a couple of hours. If they say $200 for a couple of hours...you should act offended. I've usually paid around $150 for the whole day. You're going to pay for all drinks, food and entertainment (maybe a movie) so it shouldn't be $200 or $300 for the whole day. I know*guys *who pay by the week. $500 to $750 for the week. *

Never take the first chica you see. We are the prize. Take your time. Look around. You are on vacation, what's the rush. Savor the moment, before you know it you'll be back in Bermuda. The aggressive chicas are more likely to be hard core pro's. They just want to get you off as fast as possible and get back to Tequilas so they can make more money. The shy chica standing off to one side is a better bet. A lot of these girls only do this occasionally to make some extra cash.

If a chica walks up to you and asks you to buy her a drink, if you do, she is going to be hard to get rid of. Just say no. Siento, no. or Lo siento, no. Meaning I'm sorry but no. Things start a little later down there. I like to get to Tequilas early, like 11pm. But the place is the most packed at 2am. So you can always wait for the next shift to come in.

I prefer not to pay the chicas up front. I pay when we're finished and they are leaving. But you might get one that refuses any services till they are paid. It's your choice. I suggest not paying first. It has happened that they get paid, you're in bed naked and they say I must use the bathroom, and the next thing you know they are out the door. It's a tough call. If they want paid first, it's a gut call. I've showed them the money, or even put it on the far nightstand, but I can't ever remember paying first, maybe once when I was really drunk. There's a million stories out there of guys getting ripped off because they didn't use good common sense.

---Lastly...This is your maiden voyage. Have fun, but pay attention. Take your time, relax...it's a vacation. Use good common sense. Make some friends. Make some notes for the next trip. But mainly just kick back, go with the flow and enjoy yourself.

---Cash...How much to take? Well, I usually break it down into 3 areas. Apartment rent, entertainment (chicas, food and beverage), and gambling. I set the apartment rent aside, cause we'll pay that as soon as we get there.

As for gambling, I use my Bank of Whatever card at the casino so I can set my limit for the night when I walk in. I lose it, I'm done. If I win, life is good. Works for me. Of course, doesn't always work that way!) So that just leaves entertainment. If you take $1700/$1800 to use for entertainment you should be fine. You should go home with money left over. Let's say you go totally freakin' bonkers. You hit Tequilas 6 nights straight and spend $200 per night...chica toda la noche (girl for all night),and some drinks, and you go to Relax y Vida (a Turkish bath) 5 times during the week at $45 per visit. That adds up to $1200 plus $225 or $1455. You still have $250 to $350 for food and taxis, etc. for the week. A taxi ride is gonna be $2 or $3 and food is cheap. I've spent $1800 in a week....hell, I've spent $2300 in a week.... for entertainment, but I got laid 23 times (including some 2girlsatonce sessions). I just don't think that'll happen on your maiden voyage. I could be wrong.

---Relax y Vida...a Turkish bath. There are many Turkish baths in Lima. I've only been to this one....many,many times. It is unique, according to mi amigo Lima Busy and others...and my personal opinion. . We will definately go there. It is not fancy. It is not marble and tile. It is not roomy. It is not upscale. What it is....is a massage, an apricot scrub in the sauna and and a soak in the hot tub. Again, it ain't fancy. The massage table is too small....how Larry fits on one is a mystery. I think the sauna is ok...especially in the VIP room...but they're small...and the hot tub might just be a metal tub with a water jet on the side. It's supposed to be just one hour. But usually runs a little longer. The charm of the place are the chicas. There may only be 3 to 6 girls there when we get there. I think they only have 6 rooms plus the VIP room. Last time they were doing some work on the rooms and only had 4 available, plus VIP. The girls aren't going to be 10's. But, from my experience you can pick one blindfolded and you'll be fine. Anyway, we'll walk in, give all our valuables (cell, money, keys, watch, etc.) to the chica at the front desk who will tie it up in a sack for protection. Then we go into a small room and have a seat. The chicas will come out and introduce themselves and sit with us. We can have a drink and smoke and chat while we make our decisions. Once the decisions are made the chicas will leave and get the rooms ready. They use their elbows, knees, breasts, etc. and it always relaxs me and gets me in the proper frame of mind. Keep in mind, this place is not full service. The girls are not supposed to provide sex...only a blowjob or handjob. But, as always, your experience may vary. Once the massage and heavy breathing-in-the-ear is over, they'll flip you on your back and go to using their mouths and/or hands. Now, the above is the normal experience if 1 or 2 guys go there.

If we all go at the same time we'll have to use the VIP and/or make a reservation the day before*so some of us won't have to sit there and wait for a chica to come available. And the VIP room is where everyone is together. So when Bush, Pauly Paul and I went to the VIP, *we all ended up in the sauna together and the hot tub together. Ya, all 6 of us. So the upside is seeing 3 girls naked and the downside is*when I was in the*hot tub saying, who's hand is THAT? Pauly Paul???!!!!!!

---Forms...It's a little thing, a minor detail*but....fill those fuckin' forms out ahead of time, at home. You know, the customs and immigration forms. Ya already got'em. Nov. 2007 in Las Cucardas I was ripped off for around $500.

A little back ground is needed to complete this sad tale. Me and my wingman were making our 5th trip to Lima that year and our countless trips to Las Cucardas. We were becoming very friendly with some of the girls. trips to the TR dico and that kind of thing. One girl that I would sit on the sofas in LC with and drink beer was Lisa .A 7 in face and a 6 in body. After doing her on 2 different times this one night in the room she was like a wild women. Full GFE and when we were through my money was all over the floor. What she did was get me under my pants hanging on the wall and block my view. When I picked up the money all the Soles were there but the 5 one hundred dollar bills were gone. The reason the money was on the floor was she must have dropped it when sorting it when she had my face buried. I called the little Chinese guy who runs the place but she had already passed the bills off to an Amiga. I walked out pissed off and if I was not in Peru I would have went nuts in that joint. On my next trip to Lima there she was working in LC again. The reason I write this report is to maybe help others to not let there gaurd down like I did. OK. Most of the photos you see on the different web pages are fakes or heavily photoshopped. Additionaly, most are placed not by independent girls, but by services. Therefore if you call, you will be given an address where you will find a couple or a few girls of differing quality. As is usual in these places you will probably not get anything like a GFE and the knock on the door will come 10 minutes before your time is up.

Another good source for these places (especially the cheap ones) is the newspaper "el trome". The forum member Artisttyp, like Nibu before him, is a frequent visitor to these alternatives and reading back on some of his posts will probably answer your questions.

I used to go to these places but my mongering habits have changed. That said, in Bs. As. I often visit these "casas de cita" where the quality and service greatly differ from that generally found in Lima.

As david mentioned these places are hit and miss. If you don't like average latin women that a peruvian taxi driver would bang then it may not be your thing. I happen to get off on it.

My suggestion would be to learn the public transportation and get to the trocadero and las cucardas for less than a dollar RT. You can spend at least a week doing that and you will get tons of choices on a daily basis.

I am working my way thru the PeruTops site. While I speak/read Spanish fairly well, I find it daunting to work though some of those postings. Lots of slang expressions, local words? and chit-chat. But as I see how its laid out, it is starting to make sense. I need to start on the last page and work backwards - no need to consider recommended chicas from 2004/05 . . . some of the places no longer even exist.

Anyone know of a map with ISG places of interest notated? The maps I have seen have lots of hotels, banks etc - but no saunas, casas, strip clubs. I am trying to enter the addresses into GoogleMap, but it never seems to find the right address. Perhaps 1 out of 10 end up on the map. Maybe someone has already done this. Any link?

When you get to your hotel, go to Claro on Larco and buy your SIM chip or cell phone and stop at a bookstore and pick up a map while you are at it. I really like going to the banos turcos and some weeks go two or three times.

I think part of the reason there are no maps is that it seems that anything appealing to mongers here is pretty low key and almost word-of-mouth. A friend who can find and open doors for you here is invaluable.

Please report on that hotel - I'm planning to stay there. And it was hard to find, since the APEC convention will be in town when I'm there (11/17-22) and most hotels are already full. Good word has it that it is "chica-friendly," and it's rated 4 stars, if that means anything.

Because they have a monopoly on certain routes, for example the Lima-Arequipa route. Go ahead, I dare you to find another airline that flies there. A public one. The last one that tried, I forget the name, was grounded due to "safety concerns," after a plane crashed.

Anyway, for those of you who don't already know this: If you try to book a LAN flight within Peru from outside of Peru, such as here in the US, you will get an outrageous price. For ex., from here I found flights from Lima-Arequipa-Lima to be $441. So I went on the SPANISH LAN site, not the international one. Their quotes were around $123, something like that. I go through all the forms and info, and it keeps denying my credit card.

FINALLY, I get the number for the LAN office in Lima. That number is: (51-1) 213-8200. It's a lot better if you speak Spanish but if you don't just push the "english" option and you'll get an agent who speaks poor english. Anyway, I was able to book that same flight for a grand total of $97.50 round trip, and I received my confirmation five minutes later.

Point? The phone is still better for some things than the internet.

I had the same problem using my US issued credit card on the Lan Chile site and went to a LAN CHILE office in order to get Peruvian prices on South American flights. The agent at Lan told me that I needed to register my credit card with Lan Chile in the US before going to South America. This is to protect and secure your card. You can do it somewhere on their website though have just returned to US and have not tried to do it yet.

WOW. I cant believe how much I´ve done in a week here. I will try to organize this the best I can.

Bullets:

1. Continental Airlines has new planes that offer TV's like jet blue. They will soon be offering computer services like power supply etc. The bad thing about it is they put the power box under the aisle seats so it takes up a third of an already cramped leg space. Basically I sat for 8 hours with my legs to one side...stupid if you ask me. Bottom line a coach aisle seat is no longer a decent way to travel on Continental as long as they use those planes..again really stupid.

2. To my surprise BOTH atms at the lima airport would not accept my debit card. Bring some cash. The next day I went to citibank in miraflores and it worked fine. I have been able to get out 700 soles ($243) at a time with a $2 bank machine usage charge. I will be charged a conversion fee as well.

3. The maria luisa is going well. There is some noise and it can be a bit cold. There is a club next door so friday and saturday you won't be going to bed until at least 4am. They are also still working on a hotel next door so I've been hearing some light hammering but nothing too serious. I hear the laundry machine as well. Otherwise the service has been great. I did a load of laundry for $5 at the hotel.

4. I was eating at my favorite restaurant last sunday and in walks a bunch of guys with tattoos. They wind up being the band "agnostic front" from new york city. A famous hardcore band. I got to see them play live that evening. What a crazy experience. Those of you who know hardcore will understand what I went through.

5. I also attended a live soccer game peru vs argentina for $30 (great seats) It was a great experience.

6. David 33 organized something for me and there was a little confusion as to the date and time. The girl was waiting for me and I never showed which was horrible. Last night I did a little investigating in the san miguel area. I took the bus to plaza san miguel. Around plaza san miguel are a few bars and another tequila rocks which I have not been too.

Its being held in Miraflores but a couple of bucks taxi ride from the center, at the Cuartel San Martín. Prices around $3.00 a plate. I am pretty sure you will have more success at #3, #2 can be busier because of the different hours, on the plus side the lack of hot water keeps the "gringo's" away.

This trip was very different for me. I hardly did any exploring in the pfp scene which is something I really enjoy doing in lima. This time I spent most of my time with non pros that I met online.

Bottom line $4000 a month would a pretty luxurious life in lima would it not? You could take girls out maintain your own and save.

I walked the streets of lima as if I was living there. Where would I ride my bike. How would I get groceries to my apartment. What bank
I would change to so that it would be more convenient to me. I saw all of thess things working out for me and I also know that I would most certainly meet a nice girl. I forgot to add that one day while walking in lince I came across a hotel called Hotel Princessa Sauna Spa. This is a 4 star (looks like a decent 3 star) hotel located on aveinda arenales around the corner from ave. arequipa. It is about a 10 minute combi ride direct to miraflores. I asked to be shown a room and was very impressed although it was a little expensive. Single rooms for $50 - 70 depending if you want a fridge or not. On site sauna and spa. I was told guests are allowed but always confirm this via email prior to arriving and print out a copy.

I mention this hotel because somtimes people come down last minute and the luisa or las palmas is filled up etc. I think this would be a good alternative at a reasonable price if you were left without a place in miraflores.

If you are in the centro area near plaza san martin at 2pm and want a surreal dining experience go to restaurante pena turistica "los mangolares de tumbes" However there are no tourists. They serve typical food from the tumbes region at around 27/30 soles a plate with great looking meat/seafood. They have a live group playing at 2pm everyday and the places is decorated like a jungle. Fedex is very reliable. Customs is not. If you are sending paper they get through fine, if sending goods someone will need to go and get them released through cutoms. Real nausea.

I figure to do it properly you would need a budget of $50 a day for daily expenses $800-1000 for an apartment on larcomar with an ocean view. $400($100 each weekend on top of the normal $50 a day) weekend money to spend on chicas drinks etc. On top of that another $1000 a month to spend on food ,supplies for the home, a maid and a little nest egg for your three months a year in the DR.

Bottom line $4000 a month would a pretty luxurious life in lima would it not? You could take girls out maintain your own and save.

I think you could do alot more with $1500 in lima than anyplace in america but I don't think you would be living the life. Do the math....you wouldn't want to spend any less than $500 for an apartment add the food a little nest egg expenses etc. and you don't have alot to play with.

The same way we all do (hand carries) using your good friends and family that visits you. As you will be making semi-frequent trips to the USA, go up with two empty suitcases and a carry on. Over the course of one year, I brought down sheets,towels,goose down comforter,kitchen supplies,all my clothes (alot),computer,bulky stereo system plus speakers, cd collection, etc.

I remember one guy on ISG wanted to ship his stuff in a container(I advised against it). He did anyway and had something like 1,000 cd's and had to pay $1.00 tax on each one, when he got home half the cases were empty.

P.S. Polvo could open up a electronics store (with all he has brought in) and probably build the building with all the tools he has!

I do not know how I can top yesterday's experiences but it certainly is going to be fun to try it. After escorting Sofia out of the suite at around noon, I actually slept some more. Anyways, Las Cucardas looks kind of like a movie theatre on the outside but inside, it is set up (admission price, two corridors, and many small rooms) much in the same way as the Troca, albeit in a much smaller scale. The saving grace here is that they actually maintain this venue nicely. The providers, who also stand outside their room door, are a step up from Troca, too. This is the reason why this establishment costs more, but IMHO, the price is worth it. I am a "tit" man myself, and if I had passed up a chance to experience Julissa, I would have regretted it for the rest of my life. She was 24, from the jungle, and had a perfect chest. it was my first trip to lima, and i went with two friends, one of whom had been there before.

having lived for years in san jose, costa rica, lima was surprising in a number of ways. the first thing you notice is how dry the landscape is. it reminded me a lot of southern california, though i am hardly an expert on la. the weather isn’t what most people would expect. it’s rather chilly and gray. i wore my light jacket almost constantly, day or night, except on the rare occasions when the sun shone. there’s an upside to this, though. even the tourists don’t wear shorts (except one die hard gringo i saw).

even with the dry cool climate, the city has numerous large and well landscaped parks. we stayed in one of the better neighborhoods, miraflores, but even the more run down areas were cleaner than san jose. san jose’s central park is a joke. in lima they wouldn’t even give that place a name. the lack of litter and garbage in the streets is a pleasant change, as was the fact that the streets were wide and traffic wasn’t horrible. walking wasn’t a dangerous enterprise either. the sidewalks were wide, well maintained and not cluttered with kiosks and sleeping vagrants. people don’t [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134) on the sidewalks either, strangely. they actually have public restrooms!

safety is another giant difference. my friends and i wandered around freely at night, sometimes into the wee hours of the morning, and never felt in danger. even at 4 am you would see people out walking through the parks. they seem to have actual policemen there who are more interested in preventing crime than gathering bribes. somebody should explain just how wrong that is!

another major difference is that the food is not only edible, but tasty! you could work up an appetite just walking around inhaling the smells coming from the restaurants. in addition to quality, there was variety. local food is good, with a focus on seafood, but there are plenty of other options. i wasn’t able to find gallo pinto, though, so maybe ticos should avoid the place.

shopping was another pleasant surprise. in addition to having shops with aisles big enough for more than one person at a time, prices are considerably lower than they are in costa rica. i haven’t done research on this but one obvious possible answer would be lower sales taxes and import duties.

as far as negatives go, the sheer size of lima makes it hard to get around. public transport comes down to taxis for visitors like me. buses don’t seem to operate on any understandable principle. the weather isn’t as nice as you might like, either. it’s cool (at least during the months from march to october) and the sun doesn’t come out often. another thing is that there isn’t too much to see in lima, although certainly more than san jose. but san jose is surrounded by some beautiful countryside and lima is surrounded by either more lima or desert. of course peru has many great sights and lots of natural beauty, but it’s not around lima.

but on to what isgers care about, women. i stayed in the maria luisa hotel, and was very satisfied. it was inexpensive but quite clean and comfortable, safe and no particular bs about bringing a girl to the room.

staying in miraflores, and having read isg lima reports till they were coming out my ears, i knew about tequila rock and pizza alley and a few other places. my first experience was with a street girl who followed us into a bar and struck a deal (100 soles). i did it more to get my 'feet' wet than anything else, and it turned out to be rather lame, but for that price i wasn't devastated. we ended up splitting time between about 4 places in miraflores, as far as bars go. the 'old pub' was a place we liked, on pizza alley. it was the one place that had music at a reasonable volume and a bar atmosphere. a younger guy might be able to score with a non pro there, maybe, but we just enjoyed chatting with other tourists and some locals. another was the flying dog across the street from tequila rock. my friend actually got a double freebie there, one of the two girls quite attractive. another place we stopped in in the afternoons was a place called the canadian bar, which was on the street that runs into pizza alley. it was a place i never quite figured out, at least as far as why anybody would go there. there were lots of cute girls working there, but they were not available to take out or do anything on site. they were basically there to allow you to buy them overpriced drinks and dance with you. it wasn't too bad in the afternoons, as the drinks were cheap enough for us, as long as we resisted the come ons from the girls.

the best find of my stay happened at tequila rock during an anniversary party they were having. a girl with a fantastic body began chatting with me, and seemed sincere. i bargained her down to 200 soles from the $100 she asked for, and off we went. her name was fabiola, i think. she is easy to recognize because of her cleft palate (hare lip). it's not noticeable visually but when she speaks it's apparent. she only speaks spanish and it took me a while to figure out why i was having such a problem understanding her. i'll post a fuzzy pic of her body. she wouldn't allow a face pic, unfortunately. well worth the money.

we ventured out the next few days to lince and found one of the private apartment places, luany's i believe it was. the girl i got was lukewarm but not bad. quite cheap and what the hell. dragon hostal said they didn't have girls available, which may have been just for me, or they may no longer be doing anything.

a few nights later we ventured into lima centro and checked out cucardas and la nenne. both are great values for the money, though the pick and go style doesn't really work well for me. the price and selection were good the night we were there and i can't complain about that. then we headed to the street with all the strip clubs, the name escapes me right now. we checked out a handful of places and generally saw lots of cute girls who would have been appealing if we had full tanks. the prices of drinks wasn't bad and all in all it was a good time. one place i particularly liked was called, i believe, palmeras or something similar.

my trip report should go on from here and include lots more but other than a rematch with fabiola (on her 'night off' and she spent 3 hours with me) i caught a virus or a combination of a cold and bad water, and i spent my last 5 days mostly confined to the hotel.

in terms of pure mongering, san jose is a lot easier to navigate and you can find a lot more options in a given night. lima is a far superior city, and fun can be had for sure. anyway, i apologize for this unspectacular report, but that's how my trip was, unspectacular.

I shared an apartment in Miraflores for a few months with a mid-20s black guy from England and he didn't seem to have any trouble. You'll do fine.

One of the joys of my kind of vacation is sleeping in late after a hard day of body smacking. After my extremely late breakfast at Cafe Beirut (mediocre at best), I went on a quest for a decent MP or "banos turcos. " World Travel 69's excellent list in the Lima Lists thread (7/08) was what I used for reference. I decided to start at the Dolphins spa in San Isidro. This place looked way too legit because this was a really nice hotel/casino and, at the time, there was a college students convention going on, so the hotel was full of beautiful young girls, but none of them were on the program for sure. Next, I tried Aquas Sauna and Spa but the address given in the list was taken over by the Karlos Ysique Salon. I thought "Aquas Sauna" just changed its name because this new place did offer massage. It was so much smaller than the Dolphins Hotel that I thought maybe I could score here. At worst, I will get a legitimate ("Yawn! ") massage out of it. Sadly, that is exactly what happened. The masseuse offered nothing and frankly her looks really did nothing for my libido, though she was a very nice young lady.

Damn, I have swung and missed twice and now I was down to my last strike; and I hate striking out. Since I was in Lince, I took a cab to the Finnish Sauna. Hallelujah! This is the place for me. Right after paying the front desk, I realized this place was sort of set up like the termas in Rio (but without the loud music, jiggling bodies, and obnoxious smoke). A bevy of attractive, scantily clad ladies were waiting for me in the lounge. I chose Yolanda because she had the biggest rack, even though it was obvious they were bolt-ons. Normally, I would not choose this kind of artificial stimulus but something about her demeanor sparked my interest. My instincts proved right. Once in the upstairs private room, we were bouncing all over the place. What do you expect? I had been working myself up in to a frenzy all day long, then only to be disappointed. Now I finally get the payoff, which incidentally flew all over Yolanda's body. For a change, this was one mess I was happy to help clean up. (No, I did not use my tongue, you perverts! ) This sauna had excellent facilities. I especially enjoyed the post-coital relaxing in the eucalyptus scented sauna. After about two hours of recuperating, I went back in to the lounge to see what was available. For the price I would have had to pay (were they charging me the gringo rate? ), I did not feel the providers available warranted the cost. In Lima terms, this place was not cheap. However, I enjoyed my time here very much and I would highly recommend it.

After a lovely dinner and a movie back in Miraflores, my last night before I left for Cusco and Machu Picchu had to be a special one. Around 11, I took a cab to the Casanova night club in San Isidro. This place was dead. There was only one other guy in the bar but there had to have been at least ten girls. After midnight, things had not changed much but this was when I met Valeria. She was 24, Incan (Asian? ) looking, and had an incredibly beautiful chest. To verify its authenticity, she allowed me to feel her up right there on the loveseat. I could not tell for certain because they felt just a little hard. It could have been just her age I thought. She did swear to me that they were real. It did not matter because I really wanted to bang her. After looking inside their small and uncomfortable looking private room, I decided to pay extra to take her back to the Maria Luisa. Once the action began in my suite, I found out that she did lie to me about her endowments. The suture scars were obvious. Besides the deceit, it also bothered me that she was not that energetic and all that chemistry we had back at the night club was all an act. I cannot judge Casanova's by this one bad experience but it is not exactly a stretch to say that the other chicas from this place cannot be that much different from Valeria. Who knows? Maybe I just caught her on a bad night. This is what they mean by YMMV. Of course, this was not a cheap lesson to learn but at least I can pass along my experience to you, my fellow hobbyists.

Having spent 10 days in Lima this month, I thought I’d share my thoughts and impressions of the local scene. This may not be very useful for the regulars, but hopefully will aid those thinking of making their first trip . . .

First off, the chicas of Lima are some of the friendliest ladies around, and can provide a GFE at least equal to that of Buenos Aires or the DR. They seem friendlier and more talkative than many of their sisters in other countries. Secondly, Lima has a very diverse sex scene including saunas, casas, SWs, MPs, out-call, strip clubs and pick-up joints. Something for everyone regardless of your preferences.

I only sampled a small cross-section of the available options, but here are my top experiences:

1) Relax and Vida #1 (and also R&V #2) Carlos Villaran 121 behind Torre Interbank

This MP/Sauna has been much discussed on the Forum as well as on PeruTops. It was the first place I went to, and I was not disappointed. I have been to well over 100 MPs around the world and this chain is unique with an “over-the-top” level of GFE offered. If you are looking for raw, nasty sex you should look elsewhere. R&V offers more of a “geisha” experience with very attractive young women offering friendship, conversation, massage and unbelievable intimacy. Their massage skills are very good, but not great. It is the style and sense of intimacy that slowly overwhelms you. You usually end up with a glorified HJ/ BBBJ/ Russian ending (although someone at R&V #2 was getting full service in the next room while I was there) but that description hardly does justice to the actual experience. Yet I’m sure some guys end up mystified as to what the fuss is all about. A $50 hand job? You either get it or you don’t . . .

Cost is 80 soles entrada (60 at #2 which has no hot water) with a propina of 50 soles minimum to the chica. So total damage is between $35 and $50 US and is an absolute bargain. You get at least one hour in private, but end up spending about 90 to 120 minutes overall, depending on time spent talking in the lounge, having a drink or saying good-bye. The service here is uniform and repeatable, meaning that all these girls have been trained, usually by being tutored first hand during a 3-some with an experienced chica. Many guys have reported getting the 3-way training experience with a new girl. No better way to learn than that. But whoever is the mastermind behind the R&V style has very good taste. The girls are always well-dressed. No jeans and tennis shoes here. But neither do they have that strip club, dirty-girl look that too often passes for sexy. Make-up and clothes are tasteful. Things begin with the girls greeting you with a kiss and introducing themselves. Pretty typical stuff. But then they sit with you and work hard to engage in a reasonable conversion. No sense of competition or rush. Again, this doesn’t happen by accident. Education and training went into making a very enjoyable experience for the man - which is what this place is all about. Also the quality of women here is very high. They are noticably more attractive and classy than other sauna girls or Pizza Alley chicas.

If I had any complaint, it was that there was TOO much GFE at times. After you blow your load, you are only half done. She takes you into a sauna, soaps and washes you and then you end up in a large bath tub of hot water with a beautiful naked young girl lying on top of you while French kissing. Life is tough . . .

R&V gets my highest recommendation. A+. It’s unique – at least for me. Give it a try and see for yourself.

2) El Trocadero - Callao, near the airport and adjacent to Minka shopping area.

This place is the polar opposite of Relax and Vida. Whoring on an industrial scale. And strangely, I ended up going here twice and loving it. Even if it is not your cup of tea, you need to see it at least once. There may be larger "puterias" in the world, but I haven’t seen them. It almost looks like an abandoned woman’s prison –concrete block construction, lots of tiny rooms (cells) and one area that’s 2-level. It is actually 2 different businesses – El Salvaje on the right as you face the entrance (200+ rooms) and El Bote on the left (100 rooms). Each has a separate entrada of 20 soles – although there is usually a discount during the week. I paid 13s once and 12s the other time. Almost all chicas go for 20 soles ($7) for an unspecified time of 15 to 30 minutes. Some accept 15s and a few demand 25. Hours are 3-10pm, but best after 4:30 when more chicas start arriving. I would recommend the El Salvaje side, both for number and quality of the women.

Variety is a big part of the attraction here. Old and young. Gorda y delgada. Black and white. A few beautiful women and lots of average or less chicas. But something for everyone. Now this is probably the last place on Earth one would expect to find a GFE yet they are very friendly, love to talk and never seem to hurry you. I went with 6 different women here and talked with about 20 more. Treat them nice and they will reciprocate with a surprising level of affection. Despite the short-time aspect, I never felt rushed and stayed with several more than 30 minutes. The rooms look dirty – probably because they are. But their personal hygiene and safe-sex practices are really quite good. Again, not everyone will feel comfortable here. It can seem pretty hard-core and it helps to be fluent in Spanish. But if you want to check out a lot of ladies in a single place with little cost, this is the place. It looks like a scene from some horror movie, but that is all part of the adventure. 20 soles taxi from Miraflores. So cab fare, 3 chicas and entrance fee cost me $35 total. Quite a bargain. I enjoyed my time there.

3) Street Walkers of Pizza Alley - Miraflores

Before arriving in Lima, I had this mental image of a line of chicas up against a wall, Tijuana-style offering their wares. Not quite right. This tourist oriented area of bars and restaurants is more like an open-air pick-up bar. Now and then you see a couple of hard-core looking ladies, usually late around 1-2:30am. But mostly it is an entertainment/eating area with normal looking ladies trying to catch your eye. Most are reasonably attractive, 20’s to 30’s and charge 70 to 150 soles to return to your room. Make sure they understand the price is in soles not dollars. One chica agreed to 80, but in my apartment told me we had agreed on $80 US. No dice. Once she realized I was willing to walk her back out she went for the 80 s. Most all of these women are friendly, talkative, and sweet. Even after the above $80 disagreement, we had a surprisingly good time together.

Not all of these chicas are pure pros. And none of them are decked out in typical hooker garb which at least for me, is better. I found most to be fairly attractive, but that is more a matter of personal preference. Most are semi-pros working a couple nights a week to supplement their day jobs. One was a hairdresser, another an elementary school teacher! At least one – the hairdresser, was completely out of her league and had a hard time performance-wise. This was not the right job for her. Still, though incompetent, she was sweet and it all worked out.

Also in this area of Miraflores you can meet seemingly normal women who ask to share a cup of coffee or a drink. They often start by asking you what time it is as you walk down the street, just to strike up a conversation. Several mid to late 30’s ladies appeared to be grocery shopping with several bags, but wanted to sit and talk. Never took any of them up on the offer, but it is not hard to find company here. Most of the working girls are out between 8pm and 2am, but you can find some earlier as well. Just look “available” and walk slowly down the street. Soon someone will catch your eye with a smile.

My apartment was completely chica-friendly. Best to have them leave their ID at the front desk for your own protection. Never had a problem with stealing or even with a bad attitude. None had any type of time problem, trying to rush things. They seem content to lie naked in your bed, chit-chatting until you ask them to leave. One asked to stay the night, but I wasn’t interested. Overall, I was quite impressed with their attitude and sweetness. Of course YMMV and it helps to speak some Spanish. But it is not necessary. Highly recommended.

4) Tambo Spa and Sauna - Nicolas Arriola #501 La Victoria

I was anxious to try the saunas of Lima after reading the various postings both here and on PeruTops. This was the only one I made it to during my stay and I did not enjoy it very much. I believe it to be typical of most Lima saunas.

First off, you leave any valuables at the front desk in a small safe. You recieve a locker key and go into the changing room, where an attendant gives you a towel and a pair of plastic slippers. You can then use the shower rooms, steam room, dry sauna or Jacuzzi pool. My major complaint is that this is mostly a “guy” place, with lots of half naked (or fully naked) dudes watching TV with a beer, lying on recliners or shaving and brushing their teeth. More like an Army locker room than a sensual sex experience.

The massage girls have their own alcove sitting area where they wait for clients. You have to approach them as they will not enter the other men-only areas of the sauna. With only a towel wrapped around your waist, you go and make your choice, but it is hard to sit there half-naked with a boner and try to chat up 7 girls in white uniforms. I quickly made my choice – Nikol, a 24 yo mother of 2, who looked cute in her uniform, but was hiding some heavy poundage underneath. We went to a private massage room where she tried to up-sell into a massage suite upstairs for 150 soles more. No thanks. The massage was sub-par, easily the worst I received in Peru. The sex was better. CBJ followed by 3 positions, but nothing special. Total damage was 25 soles entrada plus 275 to the chica. I felt a bit ripped–off by the experience and it certainly was not worth 300 soles ($100). I also noticed upon leaving that most guys had paid 250-280 soles total, so maybe it was not just a gringo price.

But overall, one of the worst bargains in Lima. Not exactly terrible, just not for me. The communal high school locker room vibe was just not conducive to getting laid. I try NOT to walk around in a locker room with a hard-on. Then again, maybe that’s just me . . .

This area of Lima – on Arriola near the Cruz del Sur bus station is a sex hot spot. SWs, trannies, strip clubs, several spas and saunas (including R&V #2) all within a couple of blocks. However several are not clearly marked and it is dangerous walking around here after dark. Every cabbie told be to watch my back in this barrio so be forewarned. 7-10 soles cab ride from Miraflores.

BTW - I am stuck in Cusco and suffering from some mild altitude sickness so I am sorry to say that there will not be any field reports from this area. All the coca tea and aspirin are not helping so I have no desire to research here.

I met a lady tourist that had been on oxygen for 7 days at the hotel I stayed at. Talk about a bad trip. I gave her my pills that the doctor gave me. On the way back to Lima there was a different lady being taking off the airplane in a wheelchair.

I stayed at Las Suites ApartHotel in Miraflores. I posted a report under Lima Hotels. I thought it was very good, but I have nothing to compare it to.

There are so many restaurants in Miraflores and Lima that I would not be able to give a decent recommendation. You can eat very well in this city, with lots of styles and options. I ate often at Cafe Beirut which is inexpensive - near Pizza Alley across from the chess players, but it is only one of many options. Don't worry about the food. You will be happy.

Transport is terrible in Lima. It is a very large city with no subway, rail or streetcars. You must use either micro buses or cabs, but at least the cabs are cheap. Callao (or the airport) is a long distance from Miraflores (30 min) yet it only cost 20 soles ($7). Leaving from the airport is more expensive and harder to bargain. Several legit taxi services will go to Miraflores for 45 soles. Yes, you can save $8 (maybe) by walking outside the airport proper and flagging someone down on the street, but it is not worth it, especially when arriving with luggage. No need to pay $25 for a private car pick-up service from the airport, however. Also walking in some areas is difficult because you cannot cross several important streets on foot - they are like expressways. So you need to walk 3-4 blocks out of your way to take a pedestrian overpass and then double back on the other side.

The taxis here are not metered, so every ride begins with - "Cuanto a ... ?" He sez 10s. You say 7. You pay 8 or 9. Also a cab to downtown is more expensive, 12-15 soles due to the stand-still traffic there. Despite the gringo taxi pricing, it is not worth worrying about. You might be overcharged $1 US. Big deal.

Several things to do (beside chasing women) that I would highly recommend are:

1) Huaca Pucllana Ruins - Miraflores

This is a 400 AD ruin of temples and a pyramid made out of adobe blocks that is only a short walk from Parque Kennedy. It's in the middle of a residencial barrio. They give you a 45 min guided tour. They also have several of the Peruvian Hairless dogs of the Incas there to pet as well as llamas and live cuy pits. Easy to do and well worth it. They also have a very nice, but expensive restaurant /bar here. Didn't eat there, only looked.

2) El Museo Larco

This is a large house museum featuring ceramics, textiles and artifacts of ancient Peru. Not huge, but very well presented and nicely arranged. Also attractive grounds and a garden area plus a restaurant with 1st class food (though I didn't eat there). It also has a "warehouse" section of pottery in storage carefully arranged from floor to ceiling which will blow your mind - enough stuff for 10 other museums.

It is quite easily attainable in Arequippa in large quantities from a mining supply company. As I only use small batches for stray cats,dogs and the occasional family execution, I prefer making my own "small batches" mixing hydrogen cyanide with potassium hydroxide. You can reduce the toxicity "to your taste" by adding small amounts of hydrogen peroxide. With animals I suggest you premix the crystals with water "highly soluble" and then add powdered milk.

With family members I suggest you mix the crystals with powdered Jello before adding the boiling water. I find it helps to add either canned peaches or fresh bananas before letting it set in the refrigerator.

For mass executions or to just add a "latin twist", try cutting up fresh mangos and add a dollop of sour cream (available in Wong) and then before serving sprinkle with a mixture of the undissolved crystal/sugar/cinnamon.

Personally, I´m in an apartment now, and it´s nice, but I am not so sure that there is much if any savings compared to a nice hotel room. An Apartment will cost you $50-60 a day, and you also have to rent for a full week in most cases, and leave a significant security deposit. I think that $60 US can buy a pretty nice guest friendly hotel room in Miraflores without those issues at either the Maria Luisa or the Las Palmas. You could also go more basic for $30-40 a night as well. In Buenos Aires, my experience was that the Apartments cost about the same as in Lima, but the hotels cost 3X as much, making an apartment a much better deal in BAires than in Lima.

Sorry about the delay in field reporting but all my days in Cusco and Aguas Calientes yielded zero results hobby-wise. Now I am just glad to be back in Lima and at sea level again. At least I can tell friends and family back at home, my vacation to Peru was very educational and spiritual (wink! Wink! Nudge! Nudge! Know what I mean! Know what I mean! ) thanks to Machu Picchu. Upon landing at the Lima airport, my whole body felt better and after all these days of inactivity, I felt like I needed some release. A very late, hearty, and tasty breakfast at the Dove Vai Cafe in Miraflores was all the nourishment I required at the moment. It's mongering time.

Last week when I left the Finnish sauna, from my cab I saw a banos Turcos called King's Spa, right next to the big, welcoming "Lince" sign. Last night, while conserving my budget for another upscale encounter with one of David_33´s friends, I did some exploring of the Pizza Alley street scene. On my way to dinner, at around 8:00 PM, I saw a half dozen street girls, one of whom was eminintly do-able, a couple of others were barely marginal, and 3 that were either just scary or possible transexuals. I didn´t partake at this time, and proceeded to a Sushi place a few blocks north of the park for dinner. (Don´t remember the name, but it´s a block past the Department store north of the park, and just to the left of the gas station). Pretty bizzare, as they had the ¨bar¨ aspect down, but not the sushi part in the slightest. They looked at me like I was a Martian when I asked for some Japanese Green Tea, and they also had to improvise when I asked for some arroz blanco as this too struck them as an unusual request to accompany my sashimi and what I got was very much a latin, non-starchy rice, not the typical starchy- sticky Japanese rice. But they had pretty much every upscale liquor known to mankind and a fine mostly Argentine & Chilean wine list. Too bad this was not why I went to a Sushi bar. They were able to cut me some decent slices of fresh Tuna and Salmon for sashimi along with fresh ginger, but their wasabe was about the worst I have ever encountered - very weak. Overall, not recommended if you want a typical Sushi- Sashimi experience.

On the way back, I stopped at Pizza Alley again for some accompaniment at around 9:30. The one very doable chica was gone, and I was left with one marginally doable one, and a bunch I would have had to avoid. I negotiated the marginal one - OK face, but carrying around 15 extra kilos, down to 60 soles and took her back to my apartment. She was actually a quite spirited performer, although she was in a hurry to leave as soon as I came, so it was not a totally lost evening. But nothing like what I had experienced the night before with almost 5 hours of debauchery with one of David_33´s young friends whom he has posted in his Photo gallery recently.

* No Blackout Windows: The light comes in early.

* Small Room: Yes, it's a suite with a seperate sitting area and kitchenette. But it's small. Not tiny, but small. I tried to pay the difference and upgrade to an Executive Suite, but there were none available, so I didn't get to look at one.

* Older Hotel: Not really run-down, but it is not a new and shiny property.

* Room is Slightly Musty: I had to buy some incense.

* You Get What You Pay For: I came back to the room one afternoon to find that they had switched out my hot water heater, evidently to one that didn't work (the one that was in there leaked slightly - no big issue for me).

I reported it when I left for dinner and was told by the girl at the desk, "no problem, we will get right on it." When I returned at midnight, the guy at the desk had no clue about this (or pretty much anything), but he insisted that the security guy go up with me.

So I had some security guy in my room at midnight Saturday (prime mongering time). He turned on the hot water, put his hand under it, and then announced that my hot water didn't work. I don't know the Spanish version of "no shit," so I just threw him out. All the front desk guy kept saying was that he was sorry. I agreed with him.

The next morning, I went to the front desk. Of course, being Sunday, there was no maintenance guy, but I told them that even if there was, I didn't want to waste my vacation hoping that they fix my hot water, and I want a new room, or two nights money back so I can move somewhere else.

In the girl at the desk's defense, she understood why I was upset, and she took the initiative to put me in a new room.

* Plumbing Issue: The showers in both rooms drain real slowly, so you're standing in dirty water, and there were a few roaches in the first room.

There's some sort of restaurant on the 9th floor, and breakfast might be included -- I don't know. I went up there to get some hot water for tea, and they were very accommodating. There is a room service menu in my room, and they claim to be open from 6:30 in the morning to 10:00 pm.

I've been in Lima for only two days, always busy with work.
I carefully read the forum (RTFF first!) before my trip. I can share my impressions about two places: Pizza Alley at Miraflores and El Trocadero.

At night at PA I saw only 5-6 girls, nothing to remember. I can hardly share the good memories of some previous posters about this place.

A few days after, I had a 6 hours stop over in the airport of Lima between two "connecting" flights.

Closed this emphatical tribute to the Master Tungurahua, let's be back to El Troca.

Read the report by Tung of about one year ago. It depicts EXACTLY the place and its atmosphere.

It is located at Callao (see the List by World Traveler 69) on Av. Argentina, esq. Av. Palacios, 5 minutes from the Minka shopping Center, 20 mins from the airport. Ideal for a quick stop over.

It is in an industrial area, open from 3pm to 10pm. Impossible to go there on foot. Take a taxi, 10 soles from the airport, 8 soles to go back. Entry fee: 15sol.

Plenty of taxis and combis outside. Many ppl short of cash go there on combi. You rich international mongerer can take a taxi.

Many girls available, by far the best you can imagine outside a pricey night club. Some are very young looking (18-19) and very very sexy, some others are older. Many men walking up and down.

I chose a baby face Equadorian girl (19yo). Asked 20sol for FS alll positions (all covered), +20 for anal. No hurry, but think you are spending 5 euro!

For your stop-over in the airport Lima:
- arrive, try to check-in for next flight, leave all your stuff at the luggage deposit near the national arrivals.
- take a taxy (outside! not the expensive ones)
- after 20 mins you are in El Troca. Have fun.
- account other 30 mins to be back to the airport.
- total minimum damage: 10+10 sol for the taxi, 15 for the entry fee, 20-40 for the girl. It is worth a visit!!

As I have said before, IMHO Pizza Street and Tequila should be alternatives of last resort. I think they both suck. As far as the Troc goes, it is worth noting that it is only open from around 5 or 6 in the afternoon to around 9 to 10 at night, so that nobody with an afternoon lay over ends up going all the way there for nothing. An alternative would be to go a little further away from the airport to Las Cucardas which is always open.

I repeat: El Troca is open all days from 3pm to 10pm. I am sure because I asked to the girl.
Las Cucardas is in the centre and, according to what I read, is much smaller than El Trocadero.
If I am in the airport in the afternoon, for me there's no better place to go than El Troca: only 20 mins and 10 soles away by taxi, 40 girls or so of any age and shape.

PS: anybody reads the report by Tungurahua first; it depicts the place atmosphere at best.

It may be open, but it also may be empty of most of the younger girls. Unless things have changed, the girls generally began arriving around 5 and started packing up around 9. All depending on how many clients were around. Cucardas is not that far, and not in Lima central. Depending on traffic it is around 10 minutes further and about two dollars more in taxi fare, than the troc from the airport. Yes, there are lockers at the airport = a window service which charges by the hour, not self-service lockers. I did this upon leaving the country in that I had a 6.5 hour lay-over between Cusco and my departing flight. Also note many of the US airlines do not open their services until around 7pm - so early check-in is impossible and the locker service is a must.

El Trocadero is open from 3pm. I was there a little before 4pm and there were plenty of girls. Remember that only 10% of El Salvaje is at least 20 chicas. SO even if the percentage is low, you should not have a problem finding an interesting woman or two to spend time with. This is your best way (IMHO) to kill a few hours prior to leaving Lima.

This last day of R & R in Lima got off to a bad start as I chose to go to the Windsor Banos Turcos in San Isidro. From the outside and in the lobby, this place looked way too legit. But, looks can be deceiving, can't they? Since I was already inside, I would just have to see for myself. The first thing I saw were a lot of old, wrinkled naked guys. Ugh! The masseuses all wore clinical uniforms and some of them were pretty hot looking. One in particular, her name was Maria (I believe), looked like a Latin Dolly Parton. This was an honest-to-goodness legitimate Turkish bath. All the massage rooms were curtained and signs everywhere said silence. If any monkey business went on, everyone can hear it. This place was that quiet. Reluctantly, I went in to the eucalyptus scented steam room (I was beginning to really enjoy this aspect of Lima's banos Turcos) and just relaxed. After showering, they assigned me a young, flat-chested masseuse who was all business (and not the good kind). How boring! After my second legitimate massage on this trip (a record for me), I had to leave this place. This was when I got in to a cab and told him to take me to Lince and the King Spa on Arequipa Street.

Right when I entered the lobby of King Spa, I knew I was where I wanted to be. The neon sign out front gave the establishment a garish, raunchy look, which coincidentally was how the masseuses dressed when I first saw them in the cafeteria area. Some of them were practically falling out of their tops. I just love that look. There was no ambiguity about the intentions of this place. The smart thing to do was to wait a little while to see all of the girls before a choice was made, so I waited in the sauna and TV room while keeping an eye on the personnel. During this hiatus, waiters walked around to all the guys (about 20) and gave everyone a free beverage. How nice I thought, but when I drank it I nearly spit it out (but I did not because that would have been rude). This drink had the consistency of spit and sort of tasted like it. Yucko! However, all the other dudes seemed to have enjoyed it. Anyways, I decided to choose a masseuse who was built like the proverbial brick shithouse. Her name was Yanet and her performance was better than average but not great. Again, like at Lion Spa, we had a small massage table to play on and it was not that fun. Troca, Cucardas, and La Nene all offered small twin sized beds, while Lion and King Banos Turcos had small massage tables. Only the Finnish Spa in Lince supplied a good sized bed for the body smacking festivities. I guess the thing to do would be to get a suite or apartment with a large bed and then enjoy carryout, which was my plan for tonight.

When I returned to Miraflores, there was some big public dance going on in the park. It was rather pleasant to interact with the locals. After a very fine dinner (albeit a little pricey) at the Cafe de la Paz, I returned to my suite at the Maria Luisa and and prepared for my last night in Lima. My first sojourn in to Tequila Rocks last week was not very successful. However, the reputation of this famous establishment beckoned me. What kind of a monger am I if I don't partake in such an honored venue? The first half hour here was not too promising as this place was full of tourists. Who am I to complain, right? Walking around the place, I noticed a girl with the biggest cleavage I have ever seen. It was so big, she used it as a purse, where she stored her cell phone, money, and other items. I said hello, we spoke for a while, struck a deal, and walked back to my hotel. Yessica looked a little older outside of the dark disco and in the brighter suite lights, she looked a little heavier. Even while clothed, I can tell her chest was all real. When she got naked, I was truly impressed and immensely turned on. I had to take a picture of this. The amazing thing was, she encouraged it with lots of posing. When the action started, she allowed for video! We did all the positions in all the holes. She even allowed me to stop to switch from hand held camera to setting up to record the wide angle. It was great video, which I would post but it gets to much of my face. This last day of R & R in Lima got off to a bad start as I chose to go to the Windsor Banos Turcos in San Isidro. From the outside and in the lobby, this place looked way too legit. But, looks can be deceiving, can't they? Since I was already inside, I would just have to see for myself. The first thing I saw were a lot of old, wrinkled naked guys. Ugh! The masseuses all wore clinical uniforms and some of them were pretty hot looking. One in particular, her name was Maria (I believe), looked like a Latin Dolly Parton. This was an honest-to-goodness legitimate Turkish bath. All the massage rooms were curtained and signs everywhere said silence. If any monkey business went on, everyone can hear it. This place was that quiet. Reluctantly, I went in to the eucalyptus scented steam room (I was beginning to really enjoy this aspect of Lima's banos Turcos) and just relaxed. After showering, they assigned me a young, flat-chested masseuse who was all business (and not the good kind). How boring! After my second legitimate massage on this trip (a record for me), I had to leave this place. This was when I got in to a cab and told him to take me to Lince and the King Spa on Arequipa Street.
For all you noobs this is an Expat place on Tuesday nights, where all the teachers congregate to drink themselves into oblivion.

Right when I entered the lobby of King Spa, I knew I was where I wanted to be. The neon sign out front gave the establishment a garish, raunchy look, which coincidentally was how the masseuses dressed when I first saw them in the cafeteria area. Some of them were practically falling out of their tops. I just love that look. There was no ambiguity about the intentions of this place. The smart thing to do was to wait a little while to see all of the girls before a choice was made, so I waited in the sauna and TV room while keeping an eye on the personnel. During this hiatus, waiters walked around to all the guys (about 20) and gave everyone a free beverage. How nice I thought, but when I drank it I nearly spit it out (but I did not because that would have been rude). This drink had the consistency of spit and sort of tasted like it. Yucko! However, all the other dudes seemed to have enjoyed it. Anyways, I decided to choose a masseuse who was built like the proverbial brick shithouse. Her name was Yanet and her performance was better than average but not great. Again, like at Lion Spa, we had a small massage table to play on and it was not that fun. Troca, Cucardas, and La Nene all offered small twin sized beds, while Lion and King Banos Turcos had small massage tables. Only the Finnish Spa in Lince supplied a good sized bed for the body smacking festivities. I guess the thing to do would be to get a suite or apartment with a large bed and then enjoy carryout, which was my plan for tonight.

Well known late night place (when ya really gotta get sum)at 3 in the morning when nothing worked out in Voce. FYI they have a huge bedroom with bath and queen sized bed in the room at the end of the hall on the second floor. It will cost you a few bucks more but well worth it for a threesome. Bring your Beer Goggles!

When I returned to Miraflores, there was some big public dance going on in the park. It was rather pleasant to interact with the locals. Sounds like you got here before 1:30-2 am which is when it is the hottest!
Glad to hear it worked out for you and you were happy with your choice. Some guy's on the forum (who do not like the club scene)will put this place down, but for guys that like Help/Black/LDV action this is worth a trip to Lima all in itself!

PolvoAll three places had their strengths and their weaknesses, but if I had to choose, I would say it was a tie between the Finnish Sauna and Lion Spa. The Kings Spa just did not have the facilities or personnel that would make it competitive even though it is the kind of place that would be good enough for any hobbyist. Lion Spa had the kind of choices (big breasted babes) I would prefer, but Finnish Spa had the better facilities. The bottom line is that I had a great time at every one of those places.

As for the free drink at Kings Spa, I know for a fact that it was not Inka Cola, which I have had many times in the past, even in the US. This drink they gave out was not carbonated, served at room temperature, and had the syrupy consistent of heavy saliva. It was grotesque. Sorry, but I would have preferred an Inka Cola.

If you like wines and piscos there is a wine expo 2008 until Sunday.

A large venue with restaurants, live music and lots of nice chicas. I was taken there by some lady friends of mine yesterday.

Once there make sure to try "De la Motta" Ancholado pisco. First one on your right entering the pisco alley.

The best one for my taste. They were awarded with the "Medalla de Oro" and you can easily taste the difference from the others.

Also met and had a chat with the owners. Cool guys.

La Carreta restaurant there a little pricey but good food. Service not so good though.

For some time I had an itch to include Peru as my mongering destination. I really love Argentina and Brazil, but all those fantastic reports on Lima made me a little curious. However, I only wanted to visit, if David_33 was available during my stay.

At this stage of my life I prefer selective mongering. David´s enormous talent to seek out quality semi-pros and most importantly his totally unselfish attitude to help the mongering community, was the ace-in the hole, for me to ultimately buy the ticket for Lima.

I arrived Thursday morning and contacted David by 1 PM. In such a short notice, he found exactly the right person for me for that night. I just don´t want to insult him by simply saying Thanks. I bow to you King David for delivering these special gifts (of chicas) to the short time visitors like us.

The girl I met on Thursday is a 23 year old college student. In fact, since it was such a short notice, she came directly from the university after her class. We were actually going over her notes for that evening.

When my little Angel walked in, I just uttered zillion THANK YOU to David in silence. She is exactly what I was looking for. And when she initiated the DFK on her own, I knew I was in for the time of my life!

Peru's national civil defense institute (INDECI) confirmed on Saturday evening that the magnitude-4.3 earthquake that struck off Peru's coast did not cause any injuries or damage to buildings.

Nevertheless, INDECI affirmed it was monitoring certain areas in the city to make sure citizens did not require any assistance.

"Through the National Emergencies Operation Center, INDECI, in coordination with Civil Defense Committees is monitoring areas to address any emergency," affirmed the agency in a press release.

It added that it was on alert to help anyone that may need assistance because of a natural disaster or any other emergency.

While the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 4.5 earthquake struck 43 kilometers (27 miles) southwest of the port of Callao, Peru's state Geophysics Institute said it was a magnitude-4.3.

The earthquake startled citizens across Lima as shaking began at 3:40 p.m.

While the capital's communications system did not collapse as it did after the August 15 earthquake, it was reported that cellular phone lines were down between 5 and 10 minutes.

On my second day in Lima David set me up with a truly beautiful college girl that turned my head when she walked into the hotel lobby right on time! I never knew that Halloween is such a big event in Lima. On this night, Pizza Alley was stuffed with wall to wall people. There were long lines in front of every little pubs and night clubs. I was soaking in the experience since this was my first time there.

Since I had no chica encounter on this day, I decided to step into TR around 1 AM. 30 Soles entrance fee. Body searched by an ugly looking chica. Probably her best fantasy job came through.

I kind of like the club settings. It is like many other clubs in other countries I had been before.The smoke condition is not that bad, for a guy who does not smoke. I have been in many clubs (Love Story in Sao Paulo comes to mind) where smoke condition is horrendous. I was pleasently surprised with the drink prices. 10 Soles for Red Bull is quite a fair price in clubs of this nature.

However, the quality of chicas, IMHO, is very average. One blonde was making eye contacts with me from the other end of the table. Finally I just went there to say hello. She is definitely pretty, but not my type. Asked the normal five questions. When asked whether this was my first time in TR, I answered saying that, definitely first time on a Halloween Night. Forgive me if this has been discussed before but can someone compare Quito versus Lima. Quality, quantity, similiarities and differences.

I booked a trip to Lima in March but after looking at the pictures on the Quito board I am not sure if I made the right decision. Is it worth paying the $200 transfer fee to change my flight to Quito? Also, where are the pictures of the Lima beauties?

Not sure if Elberto is making a joke (?) but I have been to both cities recently and enjoyed both very much. I am hesitant to say one is better than the other since tastes vary and you can have a great time in either.

I would say there is a tremendous variety of activities in Lima- a much larger city, which are not all available in Quito. Lima offers saunas, SWs, strip clubs, pick-up discos, out-calls, massage parlors and casas, both small and large. The food is more international and of generally better quality. Also the air is not so thin at sea level as it is at 10,000 feet. Overall, I enjoyed Lima more due to this variety of options and activities.

Quito has an amazing selection of chongos - small bars/casas with attached rooms where you meet a chica and spend 10-30 minutes in the room. See Tung's incredible list of Quito chongos. Cost is only $7 to $15 per ficha and some of the girls are quite attractive. But you have very little time to spend in a small, dirty room with a woman who usually cannot wash and is often in a hurry. You usually need to stand in line to use the rooms. Very little GFE. If that is your thing, you will be in heaven. But if you want to take a woman back to your room and spend several hours in private - well, that's not so easy or very cheap. Most chicas will not leave with you, and if they do want $75-$100 US. I spent almost a month in Quito and NEVER took a chica back to my apartment or had an out-call.

I made it out to the Troc after an absence of more than a year. Black Page is right and I am wrong. Things have changed a great deal. Seems that with the closure of Hotel San Jose and other illegal spots, many girls have moved to the Troc. They have gotten rid of most of the grandmothers who were there during the last 30 years or so in the far left corrider. The famous Pili (one of Nibu´s favorites) seems to also have been removed. Lots more cute girls, plenty of hard core NO gfe girls from Ecuador on the right hand side. Cute but clock watchers. Generally much better service from the Peruvians. Many DO GET THERE at 3:30, staying till around 9:00 or so. Troc chica reviews can be found on Perutops for those of you who habla Español. Also stopped by Las Cucardas. Cons - more expensive, big enough to be overwhelming at first (assuming one gets out of Miraflores, and it seems many Gringos don't)

Pro's - very inexpensive, easy to get around on public transportation, dozens of dirt-cheap chongos for on-premises fun
Cons - I'd say more street crime (overall), non-pro scene would take time to master, escort scene next to none

While 5-6 days is barely enough time to judge ANY destination, I preferred Quito... especially for a budget-minded, middle aged, married monger making his first trip to South America.

Slightly off topic - but I also made it to Medellin this year, and liked it ALMOST as much as Quito.

I planning trip to Lima x-mas week, have been to CR, Panama, Venezuela, I have met a cutie in the internet lives in Lima, and when I ask her where she recomends to stay, Espana hotel downtown, she lives in the Jesus Maria area, so I am asking is the a safe area, I told her that I had thought of the Mirflores area she said that was about an hour drive away, but where ever I wanted to stay, I have contacted the Espana and very cheap rooms, and the fotos of the hotel rooms very nice. So any input from those living or having been there would be greatly appreciated. And also I would like very much to meet and posibiley party with some or all.

ThanksI'm staying at the Hotel Espana now. Rooms with bathroom are 50 soles. I haven't tried to bring in a girl. They have signs that disallow guests, not sure if enforced for nice quiet looking guests. After 11pm they enforce quiet. I'd say that the area is safe enough for walking in the day/early evening. After that, take a taxi - trips of say 5km are only about 10 soles ($3)

Came back from Cusco on Thursday after a very exciting and tiring trip. I had a dinner appointment with a regular girl at 10 PM. Since I had just limited action in Cusco, I was feeling very horny after arriving in Lima. I somehow promised the girl in Relax y Vida, for a repeat visit, after my sensational session with her last week. Just around 2:30 PM, I started sneezing ceaselessly. I was having a constant runny nose. I realized I am having some kind of allergic episode. Normally I carry the Actifed, which will stop runny nose within one hour. But this trip I had none with me. At this stage, how could I see any chica, let alone a Trophy date. I like DFK and that will be automatically out. She might even take the money and run out as a result of my temporary indisposition. Frantically, I called back the number to cancel the appointment. The Murphy ’s Law took hold and predictably all I was getting an answering machine. Well I have to include Cialis along Actifed, as a drug of choice to stop this sudden burst of allergic reaction. The runny nose practically stopped within an hour.

Right at 4 PM, the door bell buzzed. I opened the door and a saw a very pretty girl. However, at my age I don’t get wow-ed! Yes she is pretty, but Trophy date(?)- I don’t know. First of all, she is not that tall. She said 1.68 m, but I think she is much shorter. Her breasts were enhanced (nicely done though), which I practically hate. The blonde hair is colored, not real. But she has a great figure and I must say generally, she is a looker. However, she talks very very fast. Only Spanish, no English.

She could not believe it. She said her current rate is 150 USD per hour. I asked her to check with her service. When she found out about the deal I made, she could not back out of it anymore. She said to give her 300 Soles and nothing for taxi. I gave her the money. She had three cell phones which were constantly ringing. My only demand was to kill all of them before we start the bedroom Olympics.

She delivered everything, generous DFK, BBBJ, DATY, but just as a business person. There was absolutely no passion. This Playboy thing has got to her head. She has a gorgeous body that I must admit. There were lots of fake moans and I completed my predictable lousy fu*k.

At the end of the session, she became a normal girl. She started DFK. Then took out a pen and wrote her personal cell number. I asked why she is giving her number. I am not willing to throw away another $100. She said “para hablar”. I said honey I will never enjoy talking to you, unless you slow down a lot. She gave me a lovely kiss and said goodbye, right at 5 PM.

Two positive things came out of it. First, she was very punctual. I love it. Secondly, she smells really good. Even after she left, I could sensed her smell for more than half an hour.

The day was not a total loss. After she left, I visited the Atlantic City Casino. I had a generous winning night followed by a memorable first date with a regular very educated Peruvian girl.
