Glad to see guys branching out and experiencing some of Lima's best kept secrets!
Since I've visited both, for slightly less than a week each (within the last 18 months), I'll weigh in here.
LIMA
Pro's - more cosmopolitan, easier to pick up non-pros, good escort scene
Cons - more expensive, big enough to be overwhelming at first (assuming one gets out of Miraflores, and it seems many Gringos don't)
QUITO
Pro's - very inexpensive, easy to get around on public transportation, dozens of dirt-cheap chongos for on-premises fun
Cons - I'd say more street crime (overall), non-pro scene would take time to master, escort scene next to none
While 5-6 days is barely enough time to judge ANY destination, I preferred Quito... especially for a budget-minded, middle aged, married monger making his first trip to South America.
Slightly off topic - but I also made it to Medellin this year, and liked it ALMOST as much as Quito.
I also favored Quito as it is smaller and easier to get around. Plus you have all those cheap houses with Colombianas ( IMHO the hottest latinas) available. I am surprised that you found more street crime; I thought the opposite but then I was there six years ago and things might have changed.The biggest con would be the food as Peruvian food easily beats any other latin american cuisine.
I'm staying at the Hotel Espana now. Rooms with bathroom are 50 soles. I haven't tried to bring in a girl. They have signs that disallow guests, not sure if enforced for nice quiet looking guests. After 11pm they enforce quiet. I'd say that the area is safe enough for walking in the day/early evening. After that, take a taxi - trips of say 5km are only about 10 soles ($3)
Viper, could you give exact location of hotel and by now, have you tried to bring a girl in?
I see the Sole is holding its own against the ailing US economic woes. Yippe!

Not quite sure what you meant by "the Sol holding its own" but it favors mongers from US if the dollar remains strong versus the Sol in the ailing US economy. Saw the dollar drop to 2.45 soles and I am quite glad that it went back up to ~3 soles per dollar.
It is a great time to be in Miraflores! The sun is shining and all bus and combi traffic is prevented from entering Miraflores till Monday. Apec2008 (with the exception of the guy carrying 36 hand granades in his backpack) has brought with it a sense of peace and calm and we can watch the girls walk by Cafe Z with nary a car horn.

Antofogasta is in Chile and is very close to the mines! Gold mines mean goldminers and where there are goldminers there are GOLDDIGGERS!

well, i have been remiss in not providing any updates these few years. i haven't done a lot of travelling, but i did have a dr, ba and med trips which i didn't file. i just don't venture outside of the basics reported here so i generally don't have much new to say. anyway, since i am down here for a month till xmas, i figure i should at least give a quick weekly update.

got an apartment in the reducto/28 de julio building in miraflores. the full place still isn't finished yet as they are still working the workout room upstairs. basic construction but clean and security is top notch. really the only way to go if you come for a month. i actually will be in cuzco for 6 days, but i like having my major stuff be tucked away somewhere and travel lighter.

Well, I made it to the Maria Luisa last night at about 1am. The flight went fine out of Houston, but even though I was first off the plane, customs was pretty slow, with a 40 minute or so wait.

Today when I went out to get a Sim card, I noticed that they're still building on the corner by the ML. They had started the project in 2005, I think, but still weren't done with it.
I got a Claro sim card at the Claro office down 4-5 blocks from the ML. 15 soles, and it takes about 15 minutes. Get a number, go to a counter, give your ID, pay the cashier, go back to the counter, wait 7-8 minutes for everything to be finished.
I found the guys selling Soles on the street were basically the same closer to Parque Kennedy, and decreasing the closer to the beach. 3.07-3.06-3.05. A Western Union place was giving 3.075, but would only change $100.
I've got a safe in my ML room this time, hopefully a repeat of the thieving from the last trip won't happen.

As a general rule of thumb, I would say no. If you get a semi-pro or are a regular it is pretty much guaranteed. Colombianas are famous for "coming and going" and the majority of guys can only do "one pop". If TLN is your thing you will need to negociate number of pops as it is not implicit.

Funny that I walked by that Windsor place today/ Looks like a palace. I walked in just to get prices and it is S/45 entrance and S/76 massage. Since they also offered manicure and pedicure, I figured it was a total professional outfit. In a high end area with shops and such.

I stayed in Lima for 16 days in November. It was a mix of work and vacation. Arriving at the Lima airport was a bit alarming because of the sheer number of suspicious-looking strangers staring at me, but I quickly got over that and went to the money changer to exchange my first US$100 on poor exchange rate - for the remainder of my stay in Lima, I mostly lived on ATM. I walked out the entrance (remembering my instruction from this website) and walked past 2-3 lanes of traffic and quickly flagged down a taxi just dropped off a fare. We agreed on S20 to Miraflores' Las Palmas Hotel. He took the scenic coastal road and we eventually found the hotel. It was around midnight. Hotel night staff Alberto indicated to me that outcall could be had for a mere S120...
I quickly checked in and whipped out my laptop and vpn back to work and started to finish off some unfinished and urgent work. I called it quits around 4am and notified my buddy Alberto to call for a companion. A tall and young(ish) lady showed up in 20 minutes. I was so tired I finished off the deed and sent her on her way. She was actually not bad and I should have taken my time...
My typical daily routine included waking up at 8 then went to Cafe Z for a nice fruit breakfast but not before a good Cuban cigar. Read/work until lunch time and then walked over to the neighborhood chicken outlet and got a S15 light lunch. After lunch I sometimes went out to do some touristy things, but other times I just started working right away until sundown. For dinner, I would go to a better restaurant and have a nice seafood dinner then back to the hotel for a nap until around midnight and head over to Tequila Rock for some shopping. After a few hours (sometimes more) take the goods and walk back to the hotel for a good time. Send her home before going to bed and the same routine repeat for the next day - sounds like heaven doesn't it?
I'm not into the 18 or 20 year olds. I find that I'm more compatible, body and soul, to the more mature companions. That gave me the power to turn down US$100 asking price immediately, which is the standard asking price for all ages for ST at Tequila.
Everybody knows about the global economical crisis, so US$100 should not be given away easily. Most ladies at Tequila are not worthy of US$100, so we must think with the proper head.
I had the privilege of sampling many (well, one a day) ladies during my stay and I have very good things to say about Peruvian ladies. They generally have nice tits. There are dark skinned, light skinned and Chinese ladies, so lots of variety to pick from. And I have to say Peruvian ladies are passionate in bed. With my excellent bargaining skills, I was mostly able to negotiate the price to S150-170 for ST, so I don't think I got ripped off. It was harder to bargain on the weekend, but when all else fails, there's always the Calle Pizza girls. They are available for S100 as a last resort.
In closing, I have to say that Hotel Las Palmas really worked for me. Walking distance to Tequila and in a super safe neighborhood and incrediably inexpensive. May be I got lucky, but with over US$1,000 in my napsack in my room, my money did not walk away by itself, so I would say that the hotel is safe - of course I tipped the chamber maid S5 every day. My mongering experience in Lima was mostly limited to Tequila. I did spend one night at the Flying Dog hostel bar, but I didn't know enough Spanish to make any connection. I would definitely go back, hopefully next time with less of a workload so that I can have even more fun (and thank God I didn't go to Bangkok because of the riot).

Was bored the other night and though I've been in Lima for nearly one year and a hallf I had not checked out Club Scarletts in Los Olivos. I was very happy with my first visit there the other night, because I coudnt find any good strip clubs in Lima previously.
I stepped in the door at around 12:00 AM and the show was starting in the main room. It was like a burlesque show from the 50's with modeern music and 3 laaides dancing and 2 or 3 fags dancing in the show with them. Unadulterated and Complete Bullshit! Didn't get "roscoe" gooing at all.
After staying for 4 differntt dancing routines I went to the other room. Now this is what I've been searching for, Eureeka! Plenty of scantily clad chicas walking around ready to give service. The place reminded me of some brothels in Quito but much much more upscale. The women were hustlers for drinks s. /30 for a chica drink but, if you can get through that and interview them to get a feel if the it will be good service or if youll be rushed, the place is good deal. Tequila rocks is more convenient but not half as many stunners walking around and the chicaas are more eexpensive nor in the center of the room is a stripper to create the ambiance of "sex is in the air".
After a series of interviews and fun I finally made my selection. A stunning 23 year old whose name escapes me, oh hell who cares anyway. I paid s. /80 for service and because of the location of the establishment I used the hotel upstairs which was a whopping s. /83. Thats where they get you! The babe was worth it! A pro none the least, but knew how to keep the fantasy going.
In all, including the cab fare home of s. / 30 (couldn't bargain too much at 4 in the morning) and to get o the club earlier I caught a combi to centro de Lima then a s. /15 cab ride to los olivos, the total night was s. /290. For me it was a good night because I didn't have to watch my back alot, plush surroundings, a choice of two rooms chock full of willling chickas, all stunners.
Try it out, I belive its the best Lima has to offer for the money you spend.

My advice would be to go to el botecito next door to the trocadero. You will get what you want there but maybe not from WHO you want it from..lower end $5/+10 soles tip.
The other option is la nene next door to las cucardas(35 soles+15 soles tip) but you will still need to ask around in a *discreet manor.
I am the same as you ...no bbbj or daty and I'm gone. Alot of the TR girls will do this but they are a pain in the ass to negotiate with. I would say any independent would be a possibility but as always negotiate first.
Forget about getting one at las cucardas. I've been there twice in the last few years. IMHO they offer very boring mechanical sex.
Another option is to ask them to lick your balls while you wack off. I find alot of girls who won't do the latter will do some half hearted ball licking.

I did not get a single covered BBBJ on the trip I just came back from, in Lima. No BBBJ is usually a deal breaker for me.
On my past trips, in 2005, when I went to the low end (15 soles) place in Gamarra, I'd say that about 20% of the ladies would do BBBJ for the basic price. Others would do it for an additional tip. Similar at Trocadero. Again, these are the LOWEST of the low end, as far as I know.
Many chicas may shy away from BBBJ, but always ask in advance, and follow the recommendations of people on the forum.

Well, I just returned to the US today, after two and a half weeks in Lima.
I had a pretty enjoyable stay at the Maria Luisa. I booked the Matrimonial room, for 70 soles. The beds are a bit too hard, but I almost got used to it before I left. Some of the room cleaning is half assed. The one guy with glasses does a fantastic job of cleaning, though.
Remember to ask for a safe to be brought to your room. It's not bolted down, but kept all my valuables safe on this trip.
The night time receptionist, Lourdes and the night time security guy, David were always super helpful. They seemed to be training a mousey looking chica for the daytime, and she was beyond clueless.
Now, if they would only wire the whole hotel for wi-fi, I wouldn't have to go downstairs, or to the front of the second floor to get a decent signal. I did find a few other signals, such as Grimaldo and Red Travel during the day, and a couple of free weak signals at the back.
The on-line booking form on the Maria Luisa website is rather flakey. The 60, 70 and 90 soles rooms fill up the quickest. One daytime receptionist mentioned that the rates might be going up in January, when I was asking about a reservation for a ISG member. The night time chica didn't know anything about a price increase.
I think there there is a lot of competition in the area, and all hotels seem to have similar pricing. Unless everyone has a price increase, they'd probably lose some business.
If noise bothers you much, bring some ear plugs, as doors slamming, chicas getting pounded, or even babies crying can happen at the ML. And the tiny rolls of toilet paper they have run out quickly!
It's too bad they don't take credit cards, but I guess it would just be a big cost in the long run for them. They get nervous if you owe them for more than 6 nights.
And somewhere over the last three years, the ML has lost one of their stars. The key rings still show the 3 star designation, but outside, it only shows two. Maybe they pissed someone off?
And my final last thing I liked about the ML, is that you will NEVER been woken up by housekeeping wanting to clean your room. Leave your key downstairs when you go out if you want it cleaned. Doesn't matter if it's 5pm, or noon.

If you bring stacks of 20's and some 50's, you may never need to change money in the streets. Most medium sized restaurants, supermarkets, boticas, etc, all offer as good or better exchange than you find on the street.
Many won't touch $100 bills, though.
80% of the time, I changed money in the street. I got rates between 3.075 and 3.09 on my trip. Some places will only stick with the 3.0 which I avoid like the plague. The closer you get to Pizza Alley, the lower the prices I was offered. One guy had the balls to offer me 3.02! I could usually get 1 sole more than their first good price. Sundays are the worst time to change.
I never got any fake bills, but if you stay in the ML, ask Lourdes to show you the fake 100 sole bill they have. Rather hard to spot, at least for me!
I found a number of lunch time places within a few blocks of the ML. I think I liked El Parquecito, next to Tequila Rocks the best. They have a 10.9 sole or 15.9 sole lunch special. There wasn't usually much of a difference between the two. Includes taxes and tip too. You go down the long hall. They usually don't give you the menu for the cheaper 10.9 sole lunch, but will if you kindly ask for it.
I ate at places as cheap as 6 soles, and never came away wanting more food. Lot of good variety!
There is a pizza restaurant, just around the corner from ML, next to the Hair Salon (same street as Tequila rock). I think it's called Pippo's or something similar. They have a 5 sole special all the time, two pieces of pizza, drink and garlic bread. Also a good 10 sole lasgna or pasta special, and a 8 soles for 1/2 a pizza, or 15 soles for a whole pizza. The service isn't fast, but it was a good deal, and I always found the food enjoyable.
I only ate once in Pizza Alley proper, but did hit some of the restaurants closer to the McDonalds. At many, you can get a good meal for 16 soles or less.
My total cost for 17 days at the ML, food, chicas, taxis and other entertainment was $1400. I used some frequent flyer miles, and $40 in taxes for the trip. I even managed free upgrades to first class on all 4 segments of my flights on full planes. (Don't even ask how I did that!) 7 Chica sessions. 3 in room massages w/extras, 2 massages in salons with no extras. 3 movies, 3 excellent buffet lunches, and no purchased Chiclets. :)

Entrance 50 S, you get one drink. I had a whiskey, it was ok. Lots of girls, about 30 or more. Some of them really beautiful teenagers or early 20s. Some older with silicon boobs, or liposuction. The show is continuous, some will only take off the top, some will take also their bottoms.
You can ask the waiter to get you a girl to your table and you need to buy her a drink that cost 50 S.
The prices for everything else but watching are just too high IMO. Girls one hour in house or two hours out 120 USD, if you take the girl out bar fee is 120 S plus you need to buy her two drinks, but I think that was my girl trying to be greedy.
After some bargain she gave me her phone number and we agreed for 300 S two hours in my place. I may call her on Saturday.
Some of the girls have an attitude though. I wanted a very pretty one with huge boobs but she was unresponsive and not very talktative so I sent her back without drink or tip.
Another one came afterwards, pretty face, nice body. We talked, she pampered me a bit, gave me a nice lap dance, didn't mind me touching her. She was hot but didn't finish the deal as I thought 120 USD + 120 S bar fee is too much for Peru (no matter how pretty the girl is).

I had a great time in Miraflores this week. I didn't get the chance to do the mongering trip, however, I did get to experience the city.
I ended up paying 40 soles to and from the airport to the Radison in Miraflores. I got a great fare for the hotel at $89 per night. Their posted prices are nearly double that. Very quiet hotel. I don't think it would work out great for mongering, however, as they have a pretty heavy presence at the front door. The hotel offers 30 soles daily in drink credits plus a free breakfast buffet. The buffet is awesome. You can get their lunch buffet for about $7 a person as well and it includes a good selection
I tried the MiraBus tour and it was worth the money. It's 10 soles per person for an hour tour.
I also took a taxi to the Inca Ruines outside of Lima (about an hour) and found it quite interesting.
For those needing current information, the exit tax at the airport is $30.25USD for international flights. I am writing this message right now using the airport's free wireless internet. So far no hassles at the airport.
I found the beaches around Miraflores to leave a lot to be desired. They are pretty black as a lot of muck is washing up on shore. I do have to say that they do put a lot of effect into keeping Miraflores very clean - both at the beach and the streets. There are constantly cleaning crews very busy. Get out into the real neighborhoods of Central and it's a very different story - very ugly and dirty.
Exchange rates were generally around 3.00 even. A few times I got less than 3.00 to the dollar. Only a few times did I get anywhere close to 3.05.
Taxis were generally 4 soles in Miraflores. A few tried for 5 or 6 and a few tried for even more. Only 1 or 2 went for 3 soles. Miraflores to the nearby beach is generally about 7 soles. I overpaid the first time before I found out the real price.
I will return to Lima in the future. It's a great alternative to Quito where I live.

I was in Lima recently and would like to comment on some of the venues mentioned in various reports in the Peru section.
GENERAL OBSERVATIONS:
Peruvians are very nice people in general, but in the low end places, there are definately some rateros. Although it didn't seem standard, GFE seems obtainable in all venues I visited. The gals are very easy going and eager to chat so. The food is incredible. Cerviche is a must try in the am and afternoon when the fish is still fresh. Other items: Bistec con Tallarine Verde, Aji de Gallina, Lomo Saltado, Papa ala Huancaina, etc.
CLUBS/BARS/MASSAGE PARLORS/STREETWALKERS
Tequila Rock. Miraflores: Has a feeling of adelitas except more of a sports bar feeling to it, with a dance floor in the middle. Girls here were generally older (early to mid 20s and above). Chatted with some girls and all seem very nice.
Emmanuelle. San Isidro: Some hot gals, nice relaxed atmosphere. Expensive.
El Trocadero. Callao: there are two separate buildings. I only found acceptable ones in the building on the right. Gals are plentiful and cheap, around 20s. I recommend negotiating time/service with the gals from ecuador. Found a cute peruvian here. GFE.
Las Cucardas. Lima: 40-50s for 30'. Some colombians here. Found a nice one here who provided gfe. Advice, do not pay upfront for any extras the gals offer up.
Relax y Vida. La Victoria. Latin americas version of the AMPs you'll find in China except with cbj/HJ standard vs sex although it's avaliable with some gals depending if you jive with them. Some great kissers here, although quality is just ok.

Anaconda Bar. Los Olivos: Some decent chicas there quoting 30s. Some very drunk lower class peruvian guys here during my visit. Keep your guard up here.
Street gals behind Polvos Azules. La Victoria: some old hags right behind the market. Some younger ones a few streets back. Heard the chief of police installed some hidden cameras to shot photos of the patrons. The taxi driver that took me there stated his friend got robbed by a pimp hiding out in the closet of the hotel room.
David33. Lima: All that has been said in his forum is correct. I consider him the resident expert of Lima and also a stand up guy with some hot girlfriends he can hook you up with.

As a side note, on aisle 17 there are thousands of porn titles available for 5 soles (aprox. $1.60) each. I belong to Golds Gym (for the Pilates classes)but do not like the gym because to many Gringo's are there and it is more of a "meet market". Marriott is more popular amongst the ISG'rs living in Lima as the facilities are nicer and it is empty when the hotel crowd is not there.

I've done some research on this topic. Peru enforces harsh penalties for drug offenses no matter what the amount is. I believe you are guilty until you can *prove your innocence. I met a couple of young guys who say that it is available in abundance but also that people are careless with their use of it. Ie. It is not uncommon to walk past people smoking in plain sight around the larcomar area overlooking the sea.
Peru is not one of those places like mexico jamaica or colombia where it's all over and more or less accepted. Peruvians in general are very conservative.
What you would be getting comes from colombia..hardly anything worth risking your well being over. Go to a pharmacy and pick up some xanax or better yet smoke some ass !

A scrawny drug-addict-looking girl then came up and asked me why I looked so bored. Words failed me.

I have not been to Lima since last April. Two AM on a Saturday night and it was that bad!.It must be that new cover they are charging. They also tried to get Me to pay 30 Soles but I balked and they settled for 20.What a shame ,although not the best or cheapest place to Monger it still was nice to check out the scene there once in a while. Someone on this board once said that all you needed was a little time, cell phone, and walking shoes on finding women for sex in Lima. In hindsight, I realize this to be very true. If only I had more time to appreciate all the gorgeous women ripe for the pickings walking or working around Lima. The food is out of this world. The people were hardworking, gracious, and friendly. The city is very unique with its long stretch of beaches, nightlife, different districts as night and day, and sights to behold if tours interest you.
Thanks to everyone who contributed on this board for helping make my trip flow smoother. I benefited greatly from postings and feedback of the forum members. Everything was spot on relative to taxi fares to/from the airport and city, money exchange locations, nightclubs, restaurants, hotels, and places to visit.
However, my time in Lima was very limited to only 3 days for mongering. As such, I planned ahead and posted a free ad on LLS two months prior and had 15 contacts with numbers. I wasted time trying to meet some of the women. The others I simply did not have the time for. Had I had more time I could have seen some of the beauties on the site. But then again, had I had more time, I could have simply walked around the city and approached the lovely women that way.
This should not come as a surprise to the members who have been reading the board, but to others who are not familiar, I give special thanks to David_33 for his time, effort, and resourcefulness, in helping to make my stay in Lima a memorable one. He is a friend indeed, and those of you lucky enough who do get a chance to talk to him remember to thank him for the courtesy. He asks for nothing in return. Clubs/bars: My first night I arrived late, did not want someone from LLS to pick me up from the airport and it was too late to set a date with someone from LLS or one of David’s friends. So I headed to the world famous TR in Lima at 1:30am. It was awful. Mostly empty with one 8 but total hard-core matching the best jaded of Tijuana’s Adelitas. No thanks.
So I then headed for the best of the best, Club Emmanuelle, and I was disappointed. This club does not compare to the best of BsAs Madahos or even the best of Monterrey Mexico or Hong Kong club in Tijuana. It is small inside, the women look bored, and worst, are expensive. No thanks.
Sons of Cuba at pizza alley is a great regular club for listening and dancing to great music. They had some great Salsa music and performers at this place and it was packed with mostly locals. It’s a great place to take a date.
There is a strip of regular dance clubs/bars in the Barranco district one that had free Salsa lessons and local/tourist women roaming around.
Taxi contact: It’s always nice to have a wingman around. So I invited the person mentioned on this board after he picked me up from the airport, Manuel, to share in some beers my first night in Lima.
In closing, for those of you new traveling to Lima for a limited time, do yourself a favor and contact David_33. You will be indebted to him for his kindness.

I find ISG has a lot of "lazy mongers" who sit in their hotels and want other members to do all the work for them.

Today I come to the end of a 10 day stay in Lima as newbie to Peru. To be honest Lima is just what all the reports promise. It's full of nice, sweet and sexy girls who are easily available especially through some of the regular posters on this board.

I have gotten to the point that I don’t care much for clubs, so I checked out the talent on “Pizza Alley”, which was at best just ok.
I also checked out “El Trocadero” - Callao, near the airport and adjacent to Minka shopping area, this is the low end of mongering; it reminds me of the door girls at “Boys Town” in Nuevo Laredo Mexico, except this place is covered.
I did try a chica at “El Trocadero” hoping I had found a diamond in the rough, nope not so, I left without pulling the trigger.
The lack cleanliness of “El Trocadero” made my wingman want to “burn his shoes!”
Later I was introduced to a friend of a friend and ended up spending most of my time with her, this was Non-P4P.
Overall I found Lima to be a very nice place, and I’m sure I didn’t get a good feel for the p4p, but the action was not as readily available as other places I’ve been.
Another positive note is I was able to have pages added to my passport and it was very hassle free.

If I may, at the American Embassy. I am doing mine tomorrow in Buenos Aires On the embassy website, they announced it takes only 1 hr. It's also free in the States through the post office, you have to pay for the mailing and the returned mail. Mine took only about 1 week a couple yrs ago.

Thanks in advance, VicSure no problem, simply go to the U.S. consular office in the morning hours prior to 11:30am. (I don’t think they will except it after that time) Go to Citizen Services and request to have pages added to your passport. They will have you fill out a short form and leave your passport. (Be sure and get a receipt) They will have you return at 4PM (I think) and pick up your passport with pages added. No cost involved other than the taxi.
If you wait and have pages added it in the states, they will make you mail your passport in. I didn’t like that idea very much, at least this way if it gets lost it on them.

I am presently in Lima and visited Cavin Spa after 2 years absence. Not much has changed but I like the place for what it is : a full service spa. You have steam , dry sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool, showers, lounge area, manicure and pedicure and a very decent restaurant. Feb is the warmest month of the year and temps average about 30 during the day and a little cooler at night if you live on the beach. March normally is like Jan and a few degrees cooler than Feb. Climate change is screwing around with our weather in Peru as well. Last week it actually rained for an hour or so and as you know you can not buy an umbrella in Lima. Shorts and T'shirts till may is the general rule.

Arrived in Lima with several appointments made with David.
Nice guy and he helped me straighten my cell phone out that I got through an agency.
His advice was just go direct to Claro on Larco and 28 de Julio which would have saved me some money.

Different Cities all have "things of interest". I would suggest that you find a reliable tour guide (try trip advisor) for your specific city of interest. In Lima the must see's are Plaza Mayor, Catacombs, Larco Herrera museum, Bar Maury (first Pisco sour) Magical water circuit, Parque Amor, Puente Suspiros (Barranco). A good travel book will give you the backgrounds as well.

Really good tourist maps($5) can be found in a little news stand booth in plaza san martin right before you enter the pedestrian street " Jr. La Union".

As you said, of topic, but I am exploring Peru culturally currently. I am writing this in Arequipa, and just came back from the colca canyon trip. Worth doing. There is of course machu picchu, lake titicaca and Arequipa itself is nice too.

I was giving the total price for lounging in spa, using the facilities, eating a snack or sandwich and enjoying a fairly good massage with FS included. If you have been to Lima or other latin countries , you would know that this is not so extraordinary. Our money always goes a long way in Latin America ( specially Ecuador and Peru) and in Southeast Asia.

I would stick to hotel,apartment complexes and private club pools. There was a report on LIP a few weeks ago where they found sixty something percent of the public pools in Lima were unfit for human usage (remember Slyone's jacuzzi).

Your story on the pool reminds when I was a young student in France and they had a field day and we went to the public pool. I have been on business in Lima for the last week. Often I am travelling with my boss so I need to be discrete with my play activities.
Fortunately like many on this forum I have had the benefit of David’s services to the monger community.
I was in touch with him before I left for Lima and he arranged several meetings for me.

The camera is easy enough to bring in, leaving may be a bit of a problem depending on your mode of transport. Not all girls will agree to photo's but if the price is right?

you can pick up a beer or pint size whiskey bottles outside the troc. there is a little store in the parking lot. also when inside you can do the same. i am not sure if they have whiskey though.
one of my earliest memories at the troc was walking the halls with a pint of whiskey in my pocket. nothing beats having a nice shot just before you get a bbbj.
i don't usually drink like that and certainly not whiskey but when you are in that environment a shot of whiskey is most certainly fitting.
there are undercover cops inside and on the colectivos waiting outside. bring a copy of your passport in case you get pulled over like i did. they are looking for criminals with outstanding warrants and **** girls. i would verify age if you have any reason to suspect a minor. just because they are available does not mean they have been screened thoroughly.

I made a few visits on my last trip to Lima and nothing has changed except for new blood in terms of younger girls with quite a few from Ecuador and Colombia. Food, smokes and soda is easily available at the store in front of the locale. I don't think they sell booze. Most girls will not want their pics taken but you can always ask and you are sure to find some taker. As has been mentioned all the girls are legal age except for one that a buddy of mine found there but she was gone in less than a week. I found most girls to be service oriented and depending on your demeanor will fulfill your requests be it anal,facial or bbbj. And the price can't be beat. I am afraid I don't know exact address as I was taken there. It was about 2 miles from the zoo and the building had a sign that said "Conejitas Club". As I stated, it is a new building with a small enclosed parking lot.

I want to take a moment to thank David 33 for his kindness and introduction to some of his lovely friends. Some of them were different than I was use to in their level of experience but upon reflection I have come to savor the opportunity to make their acquaintance. Two were very friendly and a joy to be around and with. One was my best experience ever and was so mind blowing I hesistated in trying to see her again on the basis that nothing that mind blowing could ever be repeated. Unfortunately when I finally weakened to try and repeat my experience the lovely lady was under the weather. This location is across the street from the Interbank and is up a short flight of stairs where there was an expanded gate with a lock. I cannot remember the day of the week and this might have been the reason for the gate being partially closed when I arrived. The attendant opened the gate for me politely as I came up the steps and bid me a good day. The older female attendant greeted me warmly and presented a bag to put all my valuables into. I put in all my money, watch, keys, id and change. She made a note of the items placed in the bag and no money was collected. She pulled out a little stool to place the bag in the overhead locker and gave me the key. They then ushered me into the primary sitting area and brought me my choice of refreshment and introduced me to several young ladies. The one I liked was a new employee and therefore was not available by herself and I did not want to have a four hand massage which I think entailed an additional 50 sole charge. The young lady was quite attractive but I decided to wait for another companion. The building was busy with staff going into the rooms and saunas and making the rooms up. Since there were several visitors ahead of me I had to wait until they made their choices. Several really attractive attendants came in and were taken. Finally it was my turn and the first attendant that came in accpeted my offer and left to prepare. Well over twenty minutes later she had not returned and I thought she had either not understood me or I misunderstood her. Another nice companion came and we chatted while waiting so finally in frustration I chose her. She disappeared and returned in five minutes to take me by the hand just as my first choice reappeared but I waved her off much to her dismay and the mamsan interceded and told her the ship had sailed. Was that because of the mast in my pants? Anyway she took me back to the massage room and proceeded to undress me and gave me a nice massage while blowing in my ear. Much to my dismay she kept her outfit on the whole time but I finally slipped her bra off and had some fun while she surged on top of me while finishing me off. We cleaned up and headed the sauna which had some leaves and spices on top of the steam grate giving me a nice aromatherapy session. We then filled the tub and layed around and chatted. Paid about 10 soles coming and going via taxi. Worth revisiting at a latter date. The staff recommends that you call to make an appointment in order to get the saunas and room. I guess this also gives you a pecking order on the chicas.

I totally concur that it was one of the best times that I had and enjoyed at this spot. I always wondered why it was so popular when it was not a full service spa like others but after finally trying it out I was quite impressed with the atmosphere , quality and friendliness of the girls and management. The staff and girls go out of their way to make you feel special and pampered. Once you do become a regular, girls will open up even more and may even accept take out.

Location: About 2 or 3 blocks from the border of San Miguel and Callao, on La Marina blvd.
Review: The place is fairly clean and there is a guard in front in the evenings. Once you walk in, you are asked what service you would like. Generally they just show the prices of massage and sauna facilities usage. Anything else is negotiated later.
You can leave your valuables in a lock box at the front desk, which is convenient. Then you are shown the changing area. Your clothes are put in an area away from customer access and they assign your hanger to the lockbox number you were given for your valuables.
The facilities are decent to use, even if you are not interested in any special services. Pretty decent prices too.
I went about a month ago, so my memory is a bit hazy on the exact prices. But I'm pretty sure these are close.
Entrance: 20 soles
1 Hour massage: 50 soles
1/2 Hour massage: 30 soles ( I think)
Once you get in the room, the girl will give you a little teaser massage then ask if you would like any additional services. The girl I had started off at 200 soles. I brought the girl down to 150 soles FS.
Just to note, the 150 soles is everything. You don't have to also pay the 50 soles massage fee. She includes that.
I could have gone lower, but I wasn't in the mood to haggle a lot.
She was pretty decent. Most girls in there are about 6-8.

I would suggest do not bring up the topic of pregnancy when you talk to her. I believe you are still in touch with her and partly in love.Why stir up a hornets nest? I just had my first mongering experience in Trujillo. I made friend with a local kid that speaks a little english.

Hi I just returned a week ago from a month in Lima (only. And it might as well just been a visit to Callao haha) and the verdict is that Lima lives up to everything I had expected in the forums (and I read them all). The near 50, 000 km round trip (from Australia) was well worth it.
I was initially worried about my total lack of spanish (in Australia we have absolutely zero exposure to it, theres not a few hundred million spanish speakers next door), but this whole trip was accomplish by the use of:
Numbers 1 to 1000 (not that I used numbers over 50 much at all)

Sin condom
District and main street names (years in scouting had given me a great sense of direction)
And knowing a few names of foods and drinks
At the end of the trip I was catching buses everywhere and exploring all sorts of places.
A little background on myself, I'm an asian in my early 30s, and in most western countries we're not given the time of day by the local chicks. I never worried about bringing a girl back, as I couldn't speak with them, nor did I want to pay a huge amount.

The Bus should have on the side (usually the third last and second last roads. La Marina. Faucett). It should be about S/. 1. 80 or 2. Get off at cnr Faucett and Argentina. If its your first time, splurge on a taxi (S/. 4 or less) and get them to drive into Troc. Memorize what the street entrance to Troc looks like, so you can start catching buses the 5 or so blocks up Argentina. Return trip is even easier as theres ALWAYS buses waiting in front of Troc which leave when full. Just get in one of them, you can either take it all the way to town, or just get off at Faucett, and go back to Miraflores.
Ok. Inside.
Its not what what a normal brothel would be like. It was more like a meeting place for guys, with sluts. There are always people just talking, standing around drinking (yep you can get beer, food, and bring what you want, no searches etc). Prices for food and drink are reasonable, street prices + S/. 1 or so.
The first time you go the size of trocodero will overwhelm you the first time you go. Theres another corrodor! Theres upstairs! Theres more at the end! Theres another next door!

I agree with what you said about Las Cucardas. When I went there a few years ago I was able to get the services that I wanted. The last time I went the prices went up and the service IMHO sucked. They get way too many clients in there to worry about pleasing just one person.
Everyone talks about Las Cucardas but I think it has seen better days. When you take that out of the equation you have la nene el botecito and el trocadero as your main sources of PFP on the budget end. Add chongo san jose and you had a decent amount of options. However san jose doesnt exist anymore and tequila rock blows as well.
If you are lucky enough to be here for a sly one party and have contact with david 33 then you are good to go. If not I could think of many other pfp destinations that are way better than lima.

Even with a taxi, you can go both ways, pay the entrada, get 3 girls and a beer for $35 US. Can't beat that. I would not suggest taking a bus - a least the first time or two. You should pay no more than 20s and maybe 15-18 each way. But you can't tell them where you are going. Just how much to Callao - Minka shopping center? Then when you get to the Minka area have him go the additional 2 blocks. You pay an automatic 5-10s for saying "Trocadero". But you can always take a cab for 20s or less.

The closest I have found is Quito Ecuador. None of the Quito chongos are as large, but there are soooo many of them. Most have 4-9 rooms with 10-50 women in the bar or other public room ready to deal for $7-$15. The bedrooms are almost always shared by all the girls - not rented out as at the Troc. And you can chongo hop easily as there are often 3 or 4 in the same area. Also a place like Club 122 in Quito has many more great looking ladies available for $8. The Troc has maybe 3-4 women out of 80 that one might consider really good looking.

As for David_33, that was a backup plan, but I had all the other things as backup plans. But one I found that troco catered for all my needs I didn't bother.
I work out that BBFS (even here in Australia) works out to be 2x the initial rate they charge. If their going to do it, 2x seems to get them interested. Now 2x S/. 20 is better than 2x S/. 100 or even 2x USD$100. The only place I feel I missed is Anaconda, since San Juan closed.
Yep which leads me to second trip, but some spanish classes first.

Oh there was this one row of strip clubs I got taken to one night.
I went because I went to Trocodero after it shut. I think it was in San Miguel somewhere, but it was early in my trip. It was off a round about and there was about 200 meter strip which basically went. Strip club/cheap hostal/strip club for the whole 200 meters.
That was a bit of a costly experience.
S/. 80 for the girl, S/. 100 extra for BB, and S/. 15 for the room.

There are cheap chongos in or around almost all major cities, i.e. Trujillo, Chiclayo, and Iquitos (I know these personally and there have been reports, RTTF helps. Also p resent in Ica, the cheap place in Cuzco has also been reported on. Nibu, who unfortunately no longer posts, was a chongo expert.
However, I think that the Troc is best. The San Jose in La Victoria/Gamarra is long gone. I posted about the rip-off Las Cucardas some time ago. For someone who likes large size ladies, the Troc is perfect. The spinners from Ecuador, IMHO are not as friendly as are the Peruvians, though often better looking.

I've been a long time lurker but have opted to post a quick note regarding my weekend in Lima. I read the forum but as I was going to be in Lima just for a weekend thought I would focus on actually eating seafood.
I checked out a few of the high end clubs (Emanuelle and Club 69) and have nothing to add to previous posts.

Trip report.

The trouble is with cell numbers here is they have a half life of about 3 months. That is to say. It is normal for a 1/2 the girls on your phone list to change their numbers in 4 months.

spent a few days in lima recently and thought i’d share some observations. this was my fourth trip to lima, and i can say that r&v still provides generally excellent value for the money. of course some experiences are better than others. on this trip, i tried jackie (pronounced yaki) and she was great – highly recommended. i also tried erika who provided ok service by r&v standards; i would probably not repeat with her. i would also highly recommend jessica from a previous trip – she wasn’t there during my visits, but i was told she (or a jessica anyway) still worked there. s90 for the house and s50 for the girl seemed to keep everyone happy.

It's been a long 11 months since I last visited Peru. Since that time, I have been a part of the work-grind in the states, but I did get a chance to visit Bogota for three days in March. [Thursday evening]:

I met up with a Liliana from cupid for dinner. In the photos, she was probably one of the best looking that I had seen, and she was prompt w/her responses with me over the past week. In person, she dipped from a 10 to an 8 (and had 3 inch heels), but I wouldn't complain. Her photos were professionally done, as her father is a print photographer.
It's always odd going out with a girl when completely drained of sexual interest; maybe my libido is below average, and it may be time for me to consider celibacy. With that said, I was interested in some intelligent conversation and good food, and seemed to win on both accounts. El Senorio de Sulco had a great buffet of criolla food which came with two drinks each (NS 174 for two people), and the setting off the park/ocean was perfect. We ate and had conversation over three hours, and it appeared that we had much in common. Even though there was some successful kino in the restaurant and hand-holding w/a kiss outside on the way out, I sent her off on her taxi back to Puerto Libre with NS 10 in hand. The rest of my night consisted of some well-deserved sleep (yes mongers 'deserve' sleep too).

Cielo is a 22-year-old cute Peruvian college student, 5'2" in stature and a bit traditional looking. She walked into the apartment with confidence and I appreciated her mischieveous smile. After some agua sin gas and chocolates (which she adored), we plowed onto the bed. If the girl seems a touch wild and is focused on oral, it sometimes comes naturally (ie. extended oral becomes ball licking, and the rimming tends to follow if/when I offer it - or they completely avoid going down further); keep in mind, I get this more often from my Asian friends in the states.

While some mongers may see this as a complete failure on my part (ie. why didn't I just go out anyways?), sometimes - it's good just enjoying the simpler lonely things in life.

latinamericancupid.com. have you guys had any luck with any of these site. with so many options in peru is it worth it?i pm'd you back, but will post here too. the websites were much better when they were 'green' five years ago. during my first trip to peru in 2003, i was 3/3 (in both sex and simply getting along very well - i still keep in touch w/two of them) on amigos.com - and the women were more genuine than what seems to be available now. if you're looking for company for dinner, you should be able to find someone; however, you should keep in mind that it is quite possible that they may not be very sincere (at least in my limited experience, ymmv). i have a few more dates that i may try out for fun and dinner company, so i'll keep you posted.

i had the pleasure of seeing david_33 again for lunch. the venue was the same as last year, t'anta. if one visits peru and skips out on t'anta and/or astrid y gaston, one is really doing themselves a disservice. the appetizers and main meals are amazing, the desserts are 'to die for,' and the peruvian female patrons are hot (albeit, hotness seems to have an inverse scale w/availability!). for those who haven't met him, david_33 is very direct and simply lives to enjoy life with sanity; i'm not sure that he'd agree, but it seems as if our world views are pretty similar, as well. i only have the utmost respect for him and greatly appreciate his friendship. with that in mind, i do have to criticize him a touch - he didn't let me pay for the meal. it seems as if i'll have to get revenge on him next time - my treat or else! then again, i'm pretty sure that making him endure my schizophrenic pattern of speech for an hour was punishment enough.

pamela showed up on time with a smile. an 18-year-old spanish-looking peruvian beauty (spinner w/excess cleavage), she is the type that i would likely drool at in a shopping mall in the states; come to think of it, i'm pretty sure that you would drool as well. she is very bright and is currently studying english to get a better life; 'girls studying english' seems to be a running theme in lima, but it's the manner in which they can broaden their vocational possibilities here. after some pleasant conversation, i carried her into the bedroom. foreplay was tantalizing, the bbbj was prolonged and sensual, and we finished after a couple of positions of cfs w/only natural juices. as we grinded away, my mind drifted a touch ... with food like t'anta and women like pamela, a man could live out their life wonderfully in lima. with ns 200 and taxi fare in hand, i wished her well after the session.
