This was a short trip to Lima, which got a day shorter due to fog. The plane could not land in Lima and was redirected to Guayaquil, Ecuador. I called David from Guayaquil to cancel the appointment for Friday. I had only two full days to myself in Lima, before my regular girl shows up on Monday afternoon for our trip to Iquitos. Working with such a limited time frame, David still managed to secure appointments with three very special girls.

So here I am. Off the plane and decided to rent an apartment. The place is nice. Although it was robbed about 5 weeks ago I figured whoever did it won't be back while i'm here (hopefully). I'm like ****, hope I don't have to call the owner to tell him I locked myself out, that would suck. So anyway, a young lady walks up behind me and says, what are you doing? I(and spanish) So I say. Do you speak english? She says (in english) What the **** are you doing? I was like whoa. I rented this place out, I live here. She says this is my place jerk, so I look at the numbers and realized¨ "oops. I'm 1 floor down". So I apolagize sincerely and tell her I am upstairs and it was a mistake. So I head upstairs and get settled in. Right before i'm about to bite into my original kfc thigh 2 piece. There's a knock at the door. Great " i'm thinking she came back for revenge". I open the door and it's her husband. So he says "who the **** are you? . So I say. Who the **** are you? . He tells me he is the residential president. I started laughing and apologized and I told him, "look, I know you probably live downstairs, I told your girlfriend-wife it was a really big misunderstanding and I meant no harm. So he tells me that his place was robbed 5 weeks ago as well as the place that I am renting and that he believes it is the fault of the guys that were living in the place that I am before me. I tell him that is purely speculation and he can't prove that. So he says the guys living there before me come in and out with different chicas to take advantage of peruvian women and then he ask me what were my intentions. Since he's crossing the line and my chicken was getting cold, I told him, I did not rob you, I don't know who robbed you and my intentions are not to abuse peruvian women but to let them pretty much abuse me. He looked at me and then said. " I have to inform every tenant in this property that you are living here now so we know who you are, Then I said. If any of the tenants are young, hot and single. Send them down to my place to meet me in person, then I closed the door. What a Sunday. Now I need to find something to do today on Monday. Geesh. Help someone please. Haha

That is deep! I would be interested to know what the overall attitude is with foreigners living in rental apartments. Do the other tenants watch you like a hawk and look for trouble ?
How much privacy can you expect if you lived in lima ?

Over that past few days, I've some some short conversations w/the apartment tenants and todo estaba tranquilo. I think that you are just having some bad luck. With that said, you should consider complaining to the manager (person who is in charge of lending the property) and, perhaps, the door guys. One thing that you can also do is spot each of the door guys NS 20 and/or perhaps a bottle of wine/6-pack of beers. It goes a long way in that they are more excited to see you, less likely to hassle a chica, and, at least in my case, treated girls kindly as they came up. I really hope that you end up screwing that guy's wife/girlfriend by the end of the trip; it's obvious that your tool is a lot longer than his, and she'd probably appreciate the service.

20:30: I went out with Tatiana again, tonight, and the conversation and flow was much improved. By sending her home, I time-bridged her 'until the next time I visit Lima.' For 95% of gringos that is not a safe place! Me, I like Gamarra but I could never recommend it to a "casual" gringo-looking tourist. I'm impressed you went there though! Good on you, mate.

Went there 1 time to buy something w/ the inlaws. Was in and out in about 5 minutes, but you can tell it definatly isn't a gringo friendly area!
Polvos. Not so bad, but still not worth the risk of mongering there.
I mostly stick w/ the Lince girls out of Trome. Fairly cheap, fairly safe.and if you don't like the looks you can always move on.
If you find a good one. You can usually extend your mileage on return trips.

I finally find myself alone in Lima after a few painful days with colleagues.
Step one: change to a chica-friendly abode. I chose los suites aparthotel (Grau 466), as I'm not here long enough to justify an apartment. They give me an "executive suite" for $75/night.- it's big, nicely appointed and has a generous jacuzzi. The neighborhood is safe and pleasant, just a few blocks from both the sea and Parque Kennedy.
Step two: find a chica. I write Dave_33 with a rather pitiful last-minute plea. He heroically finds one, a lovely 22 year old that I'll call Lisa (s/200 plus 20 for a cab). She arrives right on time despite the rush hour traffic, declines wine in favor of water, and offers a spirited account of her struggle to learn English. I speak good spanish, and we chat and flirt for a while, which leads to kissing, which leads to a lovely session in the jacuzzi. The Chop ventured to Lima during the end of May and was not impressed. Got too tired of hearing don't go there, don't do that, ETC because it is too dangerous. Its a good tourist city, but no place for a monger
Wanted to rent a car and drive north of Lima to check out the area. Was told to be very careful of thieves. Was told they would steal the car and the insurance would not cover it in that area!!!

I think you will find most chicas/sessions to fit between the $50-$70 range for the average monger. Chicas can be had for less but I wouldn't advertise lima as a PFP destination in that sense. It would depend on the individual. Basically you pave your own road in lima depending on your objectives.
The isger's that live there add alot to the mix. For straight up mongering I would pick BA , Medellin or sosua over lima. They are way more of a point and click option.
However with that being said you will meet some pretty freaky girls in lima and get pleasured in many ways that you might not someplace else. Lima girls are in a class of their own. Lima disappoints at times but it also "gives" you some great experiences.

For TR the hot ones want $100 for a hour. they will settle for less most of the time but if this Chica was really hot and our friend had good vibes from her then given his report on how she acted then I would say He got a good deal. A real GFE to me is worth paying for.
I think on my past outings and I am still regretting an encounter in Vegas with the most beautiful woman that I could ever dream of. It was many years ago when $50 was the going rate. The beauty of TR is when you find a non-Pro, like somebody else mentioned. Typically money is never discussed and they will be happy with what ever you give ( same price, whole other experience). I just returned from my first visit to Lima and thought I’d put together a report from a newbie for newbie’s. There are many mongering options in Peru here are some.

Other Things
I stayed at the Suite Apart Hotel http://suitesaparthotel.com/ in Miraflores. It is a good location and very girl friendly. The hotel is very very old. They haven’t upgraded much so it would appear dirty but is not dirty just old. I had an executive suite. It lists at $100 US but they gave me a rate of $65 USD. Email the hotel and ask for a discount if you want to stay here. Ask for rooms 301 or 801.
There are money exchange people on the streets of Miraflores who have the best rate fro exchanging money. When I was there the street rate was 2.950, airport 2.900 plus 3%, bank 2.905. Just exchange enough for the cab and go to the street to exchange the balance.
You can rent a phone from the airport for initial fee of $10 USD and $0.69 USD for outgoing call. No charge for incoming calls. You can also buy a phone for about $30 USD. Or get a sim card. I just used Skype on my computer.
I paid S/ 140 for the taxi from the airport. I used the service as you come out of baggage claim. I am sure this is way over priced. You probably can walk outside and get half that price. It is about a 45 minute cab ride to Miraflores. With cabs negotiate the price before you get in.
I read a lot of people not speaking any of the language. I would suggest learn the basics anywhere you go. Download a Podcast or get a CD like Pimsler but you should know the basics.

I always use the "Green" taxis at the desk just outside customs. The guys outside the airport are not recommended for safety for newbies. Never paid more than S/.45.00. If Jay didn't go to the desk I think he got hit by a freelancer! You have to go to the desk and pay there, or you are chum.

I use the "green taxi" as well if my regular driver is not available or I do not want to leave my car at the airport.
What Jay used was "Taxi Remisse" which is similar to "Town Car" service back in NYC. While not necessary, it is the most secure way to travel barring a private armed driver.
They also have a "remisse" service in Larco Mar which will set you back S/25 for a S/4 ride.

I know, they screwed me with no vasiline. I went to one of the desks after you get your baggage and clear customs. I still have the receipt. The name of it is Mitsoo S.A. S./ 140 to Miraflores. On the way back a cab trhough the hotel was $15 USD. Hopefully the next person won't get screwed like I did.

Looks like you got screwed in taxi fares not only for the airport but Relax Y Vida as well. Taxi from Miraflores to Relax y Vida should not be more than 10 soles each way. I paid 8.

Upon arriving at Las Cucardas, we each paid 23 soles entry fee which includes a condom & simple drink like a coke. Security will hold your camera (& check your cell phone for camera capabilities) so don't bring it. There were about 15 girls available, all 7-10 in appearance. Each stands in the doorway of very small rooms. Because we went at 10:30 am, it was not busy, the sheets were clean, and we had our pick of the girls. I spent June 5-10 in Lima, and let me tell you this, thank god for David_33 because his friends definitely made this trip a memorable one. David_33 set me and my friend up with 6 of his friends (3 for each of us), and all were 100% GFE, charming, friendly, very cute, and most of all, very punctual. All of them arrived within 5 minutes of the agreed upon time, which is a miracle in itself in Latin America from my experiences. Thanks again David!
Aside from David_33's friends, I visited Tequila Rock twice without pulling a chica from there, Club Scarlet once (it was quite the experience being the only group of gringos at the place during the comedy show), Las Cucardas once and Relax y Vida #1 once.
Tequila Rock is more like a place to people watch than a place to actually pick up girls. All of the girls there are such hardcore pros its just painful to talk to them. Club Scarlet was a lot of fun, there was loud booming music, a large crowd, and some very interesting stage shows including a comedian and a chick who danced naked with some sort of python wrapped around her body. Las Cucardas was interesting as well, I didn't see any chicas asking for more than 40 soles like a previous poster did, and I sessioned with a very nice girl with large natural breasts and a great ass who actually kissed and gave some GFE. For 40 soles, the value was there. I'd go back to this place.
Relax y Vida was a ton of fun. There wasn't a large selection of girls there when I went, but I chose a dark chick named Sandra who gave a great massage (no BJ though, only HJ) and was a good kisser as well. For what you get at R y V (90 minutes of pampering), the price (90 soles plus tip) is well worth it. I tipped 50, even though perutops says to only tip 30.
My one complaint about Lima is the taxi drivers. None of them know where they're going! I got into so many cabs that swore they knew where to go only to have them stop for directions 5 or 6 times along the way. Any Tom, Dick or Nancy can drive a cab in Lima, there appears to be no regulations regarding it, so be wary and make sure to negotiate. Oh yeah, and never use a taxi stand, always hail a cab. Theres tons of them.

i have been in lima during the past 5 days, and before leaving i documented myself by reading tons of reports from more experienced members. i used extensively the information contained in the various lists published on lima and its places.
the plan was, in a short time, to have a taste of everything. i do understand spanish and can waffle my way out, but i can not say i am proficient.
what i tried:
1. relax y vida. nice place, went there at evening, more or less 10 girls available, 90 soles entrance, 1 hour of pampering. ryv has an interesting formula. if you are in for sex, it is the wrong place to go, there is relatively little of it. if you want to relax and feel alive, the girl of your choice will try her best to make you feel good. eventually you will end up on a massage table with a nice, nude girl crawling all over you, kissing you and giving you a hj. then into the jacuzzi, steam sauna, washed, dried, and ready to go back into the killing lima traffic. girls are trained, the place is clean and up to western standards. tip is approx 40-50 soles. recommended.
2. sauna royal spa, av. republica de panama # 6570. cheaper as entrance goes, 45 soles, it is possible to get full services for 150 soles. the place is quite in need of some restauration, even the massage beds were beyond their useful life. girls were not particularly attractive. not recommended, if you want to get laid there are cheaper options, and if you want a massage there are better options.
3. trocadero. here is a question of taste, and very subjective... i personally did not like the place. the building is most probably an old prison, converted in a huge brothel. it caters mainly to locals. 20 soles to get in, 20 soles to the girl for full services, although it is common to ask more for anything else than straight sex. no security, very dirty, the stench of [CodeWord109] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord109) is thick as the pollution in the city. the botecito is in the same building, separate entrance sido to side. did not try it. as a perception, that i can not confirm, it is a perfect place for a very quick getting laid and for getting an std. on the way to and from there (callao), i observed the 'third world' side of lima, which was interesting. anyway, the choice is huge, there were hundreds of girls there... not recommended, but on a purely subjective basis.
4. las cucardas, ricardo treneman 875. everybody knows this place, just ask the taxi driver. prices as reported. it is a small place, very different than the trocadero, but the scheme is the same. girls stand out of their rooms, waiting for customers. overall quality much better than the trocadero, but it costs a minimum of 73 soles (23 entrance and 50 the girl). it is also in a rather shitty area of lima. public is mostly locals. security is available, your cell phone will be taken at the entrance and given back when you leave. recommended for a quick fuck, but do not expect too much. overall ok.
5. tequila rock in miraflores. i personally liked the place. went there around 2300, 30 soles admittance, security, beer 10 soles. nice to see the amount of silicon that walks around the place. was quoted 300 soles by a jungle girl. should you be unable to host the girl at your place, there seems to be a st hotel one block away, for 100 soles for three hours. all girls are pro's. i guess it is a nice way to spend an evening without breaking the bank and being 'hunted' by these sharks. recommended, but beware as below.
6. pizza alley. went there early, ended up in the pub at one of the ends of the street. did receive a number of warnings about girls tricking your drink, with the result that you fall asleep and wake up with nothing else than your pants on. also, reported that girls working there can be outright scams, and worse. be very careful if you invite one of them to your place, mind your belonging. same applies for tequila rock. these girls are free-lancers, which means that when they hit, they disappear. the alley is also full of barkers. i could not relax a second there, felt unsecure. not recommended.
7. ex-cess bar in larcomar shopping centre. small place, 20 soles entrance, three floors but one vip only. alltoghether a scam, nothing to do there.
general observations. lima, for some reason, felt bad to me. the traffic is insane, distances are very large, and i felt unsecure at all times. air is very polluted, and most of the city i saw is dirty and unpleasant. people all around the places looks sad and depressed. lots of poor people, but no beggars. lots of police as well, although i was told that it is as corrupted as the trocadero. prices, excluding the 'popular' options, do not match the overall cost of living, far too high. 300 soles at this time is about 100 usd, and approx. a third of a normal salary. i have been here too short time, but the taste that remains in me is rather poor. the chance for gringo treatment is high for foreign-looking people. peruvian do not seem to believe in returning business, and turistas are not treated very well.
on the positive side, peruvian girls are nice, good looking and, if in the right context, very sweet.
i am not sure i would return for mongering here, i know better places, especially in asia. in europe i can have much better and safe experiences with 100 usd. i must add that i did not make use of david33 help and assistance (my fault), so i probably saw the lower end of the scale. if you go to lima, make absolutely sure your hotel is gf. if you can not call for a pizza, your options are limited to get yourself in the lima mess, spend large amount of time in a broken down taxi, and be exposed to a number of unpleasant efforts and adventures. beware about where you go and with whom you go, it is overall very much hit or miss.

I have written previously about Cucardas, I am 100% against wasting time and money there unless one suffers from premature ejaculation. I have always liked the Troc for cheapie down and out sex. However I think that speaking Spanish probably makes the Troc experience a better one. As one who dislikes both hardcore clock watchers and silicon, I also avoid TR. However some visitors who speak Spanish have managed to find something worthwhile there every now and again, but I think that comments are generally negative at a proportion of at least two to one.

i will visit peru anyway, because i have a very strong, almost irresistable urge to see machu pichu, but will probably skip or shorten my stay in lima if this is the case. i'd be very interested to hear observations from other folks regarding lima in general, not just the hobby.

i have been in lima during the past 5 days, and before leaving i documented myself by reading tons of reports from more experienced members. i used extensively the information contained in the various lists published on lima and its places.
the plan was, in a short time, to have a taste of everything. i do understand spanish and can waffle my way out, but i can not say i am proficient.
what i tried:
1. relax y vida. nice place, went there at evening, more or less 10 girls available, 90 soles entrance, 1 hour of pampering. ryv has an interesting formula. if you are in for sex, it is the wrong place to go, there is relatively little of it. if you want to relax and feel alive, the girl of your choice will try her best to make you feel good. eventually you will end up on a massage table with a nice, nude girl crawling all over you, kissing you and giving you a hj. then into the jacuzzi, steam sauna, washed, dried, and ready to go back into the killing lima traffic. girls are trained, the place is clean and up to western standards. tip is approx 40-50 soles. recommended.
2. sauna royal spa, av. republica de panama # 6570. cheaper as entrance goes, 45 soles, it is possible to get full services for 150 soles. the place is quite in need of some restauration, even the massage beds were beyond their useful life. girls were not particularly attractive. not recommended, if you want to get laid there are cheaper options, and if you want a massage there are better options.
3. trocadero. here is a question of taste, and very subjective... i personally did not like the place. the building is most probably an old prison, converted in a huge brothel. it caters mainly to locals. 20 soles to get in, 20 soles to the girl for full services, although it is common to ask more for anything else than straight sex. no security, very dirty, the stench of [CodeWord109] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord109) is thick as the pollution in the city. the botecito is in the same building, separate entrance sido to side. did not try it. as a perception, that i can not confirm, it is a perfect place for a very quick getting laid and for getting an std. on the way to and from there (callao), i observed the 'third world' side of lima, which was interesting. anyway, the choice is huge, there were hundreds of girls there... not recommended, but on a purely subjective basis.
4. las cucardas, ricardo treneman 875. everybody knows this place, just ask the taxi driver. prices as reported. it is a small place, very different than the trocadero, but the scheme is the same. girls stand out of their rooms, waiting for customers. overall quality much better than the trocadero, but it costs a minimum of 73 soles (23 entrance and 50 the girl). it is also in a rather shitty area of lima. public is mostly locals. security is available, your cell phone will be taken at the entrance and given back when you leave. recommended for a quick fuck, but do not expect too much. overall ok.
5. tequila rock in miraflores. i personally liked the place. went there around 2300, 30 soles admittance, security, beer 10 soles. nice to see the amount of silicon that walks around the place. was quoted 300 soles by a jungle girl. should you be unable to host the girl at your place, there seems to be a st hotel one block away, for 100 soles for three hours. all girls are pro's. i guess it is a nice way to spend an evening without breaking the bank and being 'hunted' by these sharks. recommended, but beware as below.
6. pizza alley. went there early, ended up in the pub at one of the ends of the street. did receive a number of warnings about girls tricking your drink, with the result that you fall asleep and wake up with nothing else than your pants on. also, reported that girls working there can be outright scams, and worse. be very careful if you invite one of them to your place, mind your belonging. same applies for tequila rock. these girls are free-lancers, which means that when they hit, they disappear. the alley is also full of barkers. i could not relax a second there, felt unsecure. not recommended.
7. ex-cess bar in larcomar shopping centre. small place, 20 soles entrance, three floors but one vip only. alltoghether a scam, nothing to do there.
general observations. lima, for some reason, felt bad to me. the traffic is insane, distances are very large, and i felt unsecure at all times. air is very polluted, and most of the city i saw is dirty and unpleasant. people all around the places looks sad and depressed. lots of poor people, but no beggars. lots of police as well, although i was told that it is as corrupted as the trocadero. prices, excluding the 'popular' options, do not match the overall cost of living, far too high. 300 soles at this time is about 100 usd, and approx. a third of a normal salary. i have been here too short time, but the taste that remains in me is rather poor. the chance for gringo treatment is high for foreign-looking people. peruvian do not seem to believe in returning business, and turistas are not treated very well.
on the positive side, peruvian girls are nice, good looking and, if in the right context, very sweet.
i am not sure i would return for mongering here, i know better places, especially in asia. in europe i can have much better and safe experiences with 100 usd. i must add that i did not make use of david33 help and assistance (my fault), so i probably saw the lower end of the scale. if you go to lima, make absolutely sure your hotel is gf. if you can not call for a pizza, your options are limited to get yourself in the lima mess, spend large amount of time in a broken down taxi, and be exposed to a number of unpleasant efforts and adventures. beware about where you go and with whom you go, it is overall very much hit or miss.

Looks like you got screwed in taxi fares not only for the airport but Relax Y Vida as well. Taxi from Miraflores to Relax y Vida should not be more than 10 soles each way. I paid 8.
From Miraflores to Airport, I paid this time 30 Soles. Just flagged down one near the hotel.

I was able to get a minivan for three persons with six pieces of luggage for $19 to Miraflores at the desk outside custom area. I was more than relieved since I did not want to haggle with the sharks outside after my pickup failed to show up. Jorge Chavez airport was picked as the best in SouthAmerica.
Tried to go to this new spa today around 1pm but no girls were available. They open at 11am but the girls don´t show up till 2:30 or after. Has anyone tried this place? Its located on Faucett 216, a few blocks off La Marina.

Personally and for most of the regulars here we are suspicious of the guys with little or no posts that are "touting" Lima, a place, girl,etc....
As far as Arthurs report, he seemed to be telling it like it is from his "perspective" and I agree on many points he makes.
From my perspective Peru is paradise and I get depressed when ever I have to travel to the USA and most of my friends that are here monthly or so, hate the fact they have to go home again.
That being said Lima cannot be "everyone's" cup of coca tea and we see alot of guy's coming thru town that you can tell right off the bat are not suited for life in Lima.
I for one welcome all reports but get "bored" of reading the same shit over and over!

Yes there are run down areas of the city just like many third world country, but you can't really appreciate Lima
until you spend a month or more here. Really learning about the people, the food,
the culture.
You may not find a high percentage of hot chicas like in Colombia or BA(along with the attitude),
but here you will find cute, sweet, friendly non-pros. Easy to talk to, and for the most part not looking to
cling on to your wallet. Although there are the exceptions.
Also, Lima may not be up to par with the hard-core mongering places that many flock to, (Ex. Thailand, CR, Brazil)
and for that I am grateful because I do live here, and I would be long gone if that was the case.
I think the local expat guys wil agree that they are happier

But I tell you one thing, if Lima was like these sex tourist spots with tons of sex tourist coming daily
I would defintely not be living here, and I would think that many expats living here would agree.

Suerte! Thanks to everyone who answered. Unfortunately, I don't have an option to live in Lima for a long time, but I hope I'll like it enough to stay for 7-10 days. I also wanna go on record and ensure everyone that I didn't try to offend folks who live in this city and love it, just wanted to invite some opinions. That's all.
On a different note, I want to say a few words in defence of my favorite Brazil. Believe me, it's not like it's one big Copacabana, with just putas, mongers, and thugs running around. Brazil ceertainly can be hardcore, but it's also so diverse and beautiful, it simply defies generalizations. Just my 2 cents.
Just watching the news this morning and one of the clubs that most of us have been too at one time or another, got "busted" for providing 16 y/o charapita's.

Been to Lima for a week, and I must say that winter doesn't show the best side of Lima. I guess that in summer, with women going to the beach and being in better mood, Lima must be a completely different place. Cusco have much better weather in winter. I also like Cusco better as a city.
I must say that after reading the forum, my experience doesn't vary much from the majority of the other members. For Mongering purpose, do not go there without contacting David or Sly One, as every other options didn't suit me at all apart from Relax&Vida. I want GFE before everything else and David have put me in contact with the sweetest and willing women I've ever encounter in the mongering world. They are not the most skilled lovers but their attitude and natural personality more then make up for it. Anyway, it's a choice you must make; you want a pro or a more normal woman. I guess that without David, it would have been a pretty bad trip mongering-wise speaking. So thank you David, you can add another token of gratitude to your already truckfull collection.

I don´t think that this is fixed, rather that it changes from time to time. I have on my trips, gone for a hard core pro once in awhile. I have also had a Nibu granny at the Troc once. Variety is the spice of life, right? But I generally prefer to be with a girl who only goes out once in awhile when she needs bucks for school fees or to help out her family. These are the chicas I know here and those I introduce to forum members. Usually things work out well, like the experience you had. However YMMV is something that must always be kept in mind.

On the grounds that I hadn't been for a while I went to TR last week. I was surprised (it was a Friday night) how many 8teenies, and good looking 8teenies, were there. The barman confirmed that there has been a fresh inflow and Friday's and Saturday's are hot. (After 12:00am gents, this is South America!) Many of the older tiburons have moved on it appears. It is still a place requiring caution but when Grumpy Poquito Ian stands there with a grin splitting his face from ear to ear, it can't be all bad. Me, well I found Nose Sperm Shooter and pulled her again - and I don't pay cien. Not the prettiest, not the youngest, but when she takes her clothes off and asks "what do you want to do first" - what more do you want?? Strange though, she got cautious when she thought I was going to blow in her mouth this time! :-0
It is a YMMV place on any given day. Some times I hate it. Other times I laugh my ass off. Other times I get my rocks off.

I have been to many countries, including the three mentioned, several times. Brazil is a class by itself. My personal favorite.
I will place Lima way over Costa Rica, though.

I have been to CR and compareing Costa Rica to Peru is being in the minor leauge (CR), then going to the majors ( Lima)
I do not know to much about Brazil except that it is in a class by itself, but very expensive, and you need a special visa.

Privacy is never guaranteed, anywhere, ever.
However, if you are using your own laptop in a hostal/hotel it is unlikely your signal will be intercepted as it requires some degree of skill and the ability to read the log from the router. If you use an internet cabin and a public computer you must be very careful as people install key logging software to steal passwords, bank account details etc.
You could always use an anonymizer server, but just be aware that most of them are owned by the NSA anyway.
If you really mean just this forum, this is really not a sensitive forum - only the posters are - but your other stuff might be.

I just finished a two week long trip to Lima, Peru. Lima is a unique city which offers variety of foods, cultures activities, sight seeing, lodging choices, chica choices and present some language/communication challenges when dealing with chicas. Overall, Peruvian people are very nice, and specially the girls are very friendly.
David_33's Friends: I thank you David for being a good help and friend in Lima. As other have said on this forum, he is great guy who is wiling to help when you call, and have some great friends. His friends that I met are semi-pro normal girls working for extra income, no clock watchers, show-up on time, and provide great GFE experience. He introduced me to four of his friends, and I had good time with all of them. They were very nice, with great bodies and personalities. I paid them S/ 200, S/ 20 for the taxi and S/20 tip, and they stayed with me for couple of hours. Even if you don't speak Spanish, you will have good time with them. By the way, none of them spoke English, and I know a limited Spanish.
Other girls
Jeny: After reading JayHighFive review on the forum, I called here http://jenytopmodel.wordpress.com/, 997 886 179 (I added 9 to her number on the website to make it work). Cost $100 USD, and speaks some English. She mentioned extra $30 for anal, but I did not do. Jeny offered one of her friends Odett 992 856 006. Again, Odett offered her friend Angelina 994 365 017, and on and on. There seem to be huge network of girls, but they don't speak English, and some spoke very difficult to understand Spanish. I found text messages in Spanish to be the best way to communicate with these girls. They all provided good service and one even offered to go for dinner together at no extra cost. Their initial rate tend to be negotiable.
Tequila Rock and Pizza Street: I visited both few time without pulling any girl, but they are an interesting option.
Apartment: I used http://apartmentclubperu.com/ to rent an apartment in Miraflores, and it turn out to be a good experience. I wish they would have provided me more then two towels. Fortunately, this building had on-site laundry with quick turn around, but I had to provide my own detergent which I did not bring the first time, and the lady was waiting the entire day that I will be back with the detergent.
Money: There were money exchange people on the streets in Miraflores, and provided decent rate. The rates went down in evening, night and during weekends. Therefore, I did money exchanges earlier in the day on weekdays: US $1.0 = 2.98 soles.
Phone: I bought S/15 Claro SIM card, used my IPhone with un-locking card (bought on eBay), and worked great. The 3G service did not work all the time, but when it did work it was much faster than my 3G service here with AT&T. I found open WI-FI networks all over the place, even one in my building, and it made easier to check emails, used maps with GPS in the phone, searched places, and found my location on the maps when needed. The routing and direction option on Google maps did not work in Lima. I bought Chip at Metro Market because Claro stores were closed on Sunday.

The new timetable has just been published and it sucks. Flight leaves from Fort Lauderdale at 2:30pm arrives Lima 7:06pm only on a Saturday.
The Sunday flight leaves at 8:15am arriving Fort Lauderdale at 3:01pm. So you need to be at the airport at about 5:30am on a Sunday morning....sheet, I'm only thinking about leaving TR about then!!
Medellin is Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Cartagena Mondays and Fridays only. Any other questions - see your travel agent.

The whole of Lima is almost the action area. listen to David. He knows Lima very well and a apt. in Miraflores is your best bet. Take green cab to Miraflores S/.45. Do not take a freelance taxi. The stand for the green taxis is just outside the glass doors you exit through after customs but is not out of hte airport. This has all been reported in this forum before.

The sauna is actually a few houses further south! Went in at around 4 PM, I was the only customer, and there were only 2 chicas. So I decided to go to the sauna first. The finnish sauna is big but was not hot enough. The steam sauna is small but ok. There is a jacuzzi but its design is not good for getting massaged the back. In addition the water-jets in the jacuzzi were too weak. Overall the facilites need a renovation. I got in touch with one owner from the expat forum but he was a joke. His email started out with "Uuumm am I just curious or am I serious about renting ". He then said he needed x amount of money and one months deposit on top of advance payment for the month when I get there.
That is why I stay at the ML or places like it (includes daily maid service and clean towels).
Can anyone lead me in the right direction ? If not I will try out one of the apart/residencial type hotels on arequipa.
I am a very straight forward simple guy. I couldn't deal with a sketchy landlord type eyeing me all the time. If someone needs a huge deposit from me that wouldn't work either.
Again thats why I "fear" renting.

Apartments are not for everyone and many landlords discourage "sex tourists" for a variety of reasons. There are members on the various boards that rent apartments, but will not rent to other members or only if they are KNOWN!
If you want "daily maid service" with clean sheets and towels and you do not know how to do laundry, then you are better off in a hotel where YOU pay for that service. Although some apartments will include it at additional cost.
There are two types of deposits:
Cancellation & Security
Cancellation- generally put on a credit card/Paypal- but with Peruvian landlords wire transfer is common. You lose this (30-50%) in the event you do not show!
Security- amount varies and covers theft/destruction/etc. AND you are responsible for others in the apartment. You will be given an inventory to sign and everything has to be there when you check out.
Known entities who rent (the Penthouse for ex.)regularly, do not sign leases,no security, no inventory and all is done on a handshake.
If you are not in that position, then a hotel is probably better as well.
Apartments are less expensive then similar size and quality hotels and work well for guys that are bringing back normal girls or get outcall girls.
In the past apartments were more expensive than today and owners could be more choosey. In today's reality those without a steady clientele are eager for clients (longer stay's are better). In the future it will depend on the
world economy as well as Dollar/Sole exchange rates.

We both said the same thing! The downsides are that you can never plan for them and even if he repeated in the future it would never be the same (no challenge /no fun)!

New to Peru and it's many delicacies I decided to try out Relax y Vida #1 after having heard some good things about it. Remember guys that it's in la Victoria (for your cab driver). You exit right after passing San Isidro (from miraflores).

I am moving to Lima in October to use as a home base and will travel to all of S. America on business from there. I am fluent in Spanish and have been to Lima many times for business, but I am not familiar with how it is to live there with an American Salary and expenses paid. If I wanted to live comfortably in Miraflores in a high rise building, what should I expect to pay? How is it for an American living there in regards to security ( I lived in Ecuador for 4 years & needed to carry a gun everywhere is it similar)? I know several of the clubs mentioned in the forum and have been to them more than a few times, so I would be very interested in getting together with any other fellow monger living in Lima to visit a few places. I rented from http://www.apartmentclubperu.com/ when I was in Lima first week of December last year. The process was very simple. All you had to do was pay pal $100 as a security deposit and I had no problem at the apartment. Just take care of the doorman.
http://www.apartmentclubperu.com/ do an excellent service. They make everything hassle free, they will be there to check you in and out. They were very helpful and the managers are very cool also. I partied with one of the manager and we all had a great time. Give them a try.
last week i checked almost all of the sauna locations which are on the lima list. see below.

1. hotel bruce sauna, jr. bolognesi 181-191, near vivanda from pardo ave.
asked the guy at the reception desk. they said that the sauna is no more available (closed).
2. masajes diez canseco, 1st block of diez canseco, 4th floor.
there is no sign that there is a massage, spa, sauna etc. at this location. therefore i assume that this location is closed.
3. ubicado en masajes, diez canseco 1xx, 3rd floor, near tequilas.
again there is no sign that there is a massage, spa, sauna etc. at this location. therefore i assume that this location is closed.
4. banos turcos britania, calle arica 221, a block from av j pardo and cmdte espinar, cdra 2. __ chicas. prices: massage s/30, chica s/200. hours: monday to saturday noon to 9pm. not recommended. fortunately i could see the facilities before paying the entrance fee. this is a run-down place, very simple facilities, just one steam room which was cold! i was told that there are two chicas available.

the facilities are the best i have seen during my 2-week-stay in lima, very new and in excellent quality. one big steam room, one dry sauna (though a bit too cold for me), many private rooms to relax, a jacuzzi (though a bit small, capable for 7 persons), free internet, many plasma screens. there are 4 physiotherapists which provide very good therapeutic massages (30 min s/30, 45 min s/40). have been there two times late in the afternoon. around 8 beautiful chicas in the range 6.7 were waiting for more, however prices are steep. one were asking for s/ 380 for fs. i declined and asked for just a "masaje sin ropa" (no hj), for that she wanted s/ 150! therefore i left her and went to a nice young chica which gave me a wonderful therapeutic massage for my back. this place is ideal for relaxing for hours, you can even eat there and the food is not that bad, but the downside is that the chica's are too expensive and for me a bit cold.

2 days ago I went to Las Cucardas. The taxi was 12 soles from Miraflores and took about 20 minutes at 11 am traffic. The taxi driver was very nice and said he was a former security person at JW Marriott. He waited 1 hour for me to exit then took me back to Miraflores. I gave him 15 soles going and 20 soles for the return trip because he was very polite and waited for me. He wanted me to call him if I needed his services again. Upon arriving at Las Cucardas, I paid paid 23 soles entry fee which includes a condom & coke. Personal security is not a problem in the better areas of Lima Miraflores,S.I,La Molina,Surco,San Borja. Best to constantly change your routines and get friendly with the natives and the "cops on the beat".
No need to carry a gun in Lima unless you carry large amounts of cash or it is standard for your line of work. Armed guards/drivers are easy to come by.
Rent for a 1 bedroom will probably be $600.00 in central Miraflores up to about $1,600 on the Malecon.
After awhile it becomes "Lima Easy" for most of us!

Over the past 15 years I have been to all Eastern European countries. I was in Prague when they were still dancing in the street, after the wall fell. Ok so that was more than 15 years ago, after all these years its hard to keep track. Back then and more recently in Portugal and just before that in Ukraine.- I always had the best luck, when looking for p4p to look for a cab driver that spoke a little english. It seems to me that they usually gave me the rates up front, so I could back out at that point if I wanted to. Then we would either go to a brothel were I could pick out someone to take back to my hotel or the cab driver would take me back to my hotel, and in a few minutes a knock on the door and I would have my choice of 2-3 ladies. At this point I was always required to pay up front. Any comments on my experiences in Europe compared to s. America? I have only been to 2 countries in s. And central America. Never been to Peru. But I'm really looking forward to my upcoming visit. Your comments are very welcomed.
This is my first time to Lima. Normally I like to stay near the old town of a city If for no other reason just to have something to do when not looking for p4p. It looks as though Lima has an old town, but my question is does it have much going for it. Does it have outside cafes, Piazas or other social gathering places. My last question is how far is Miaflorews from the old town in Lima?

When you say old town I suppose you mean downtown. There are cafes,
restaurants, and bars near by. Cucardas *****house is about six soles awy.
Emanuel, more expensive and overpriced *****house is less than nine soles
away. The exchange rate is one dollar to 2.90 soles. I know at least two
slightly run down hotels for less than 20 dollars a night, these hotels are
around Plaza san Martin, downtown. Hope that helps!

If you are nervous use your head. Just book a hotel for 2-3 nights. When you arrive in Lima, contact apartment owners. Look at apartments until you find something you like and thats that. I understand your concern. Flying into a new city. Maybe whats a good area/situation for me isn't perfect for you.

Well nothing new with the famous Maria Luisa, it happens all the time, with a lot of guests there. they give out my roomkey to people from the street that just ask for it , they giveout the keyto girls that have been with you and claime they are your girlfriend and let her have the key by her own , when you are out , The claeningstaff go thru your stuff when your not in , and they dont help you when you make complains, so yes be careful , I dont stay there anymore. Its so many others options in Lima . I am off to Thailand soon and back to Lima for all summer 2010, so may see some of you.

I can see where the luisa can be a problem but luckily I've never encountered it. I tip very well and I buy little gifts for the girls. The male cleaners can be a little sketchy but I've learned to deal with them as well. I offer them goodies/snacks when they clean my room.

Did you receive any indemnisation of the hotel? This persons receives 1500 USD but it was a big shit. And didn't cover the half of the real price but its better than nothing!

I hope you can give me an advice. I went two time in Peru but I always was disappointed. The first time I went to Iquitos. I saw beautiful girls but very shameful to speak with a foreign. I had a little sex there. The second time (one year ago) I went to Lima but I found not many regular girls to fuck. I went many times to "calle de la Pizza". Perhaps there are many other streets in Lima but in the night they are very dangerous. Arrived in Lima yesterday and contacted David prior to my visit as so many others have suggested. I know much has been said about David, but I really must add this comment to illustrate the type of person he is. David is away travelling. I'll not mention where because I don't know if he wants this disclosed, suffice to say that he is far away but still arranged for a cutie to visit me yesterday afternoon.
She was a few minutes late and called a few times to let me know she was running late and couldn't find the location where I was staying. In fact, many cab drivers can't find this crazy location. Lesson learned for the next trip I guess.

I have been in the states for awhile now, but before I left I got two crowns and a root canal done in Lima (Clinica Good Hope) as I do not like/trust US Dentists. Think I paid about $400.00 for all. The most important thing is to make sure your dentist uses an "autoclave" for sterilization.

It was a Birthday party for one of the seven sister's,so I would imagine there is one every few months. They live out in Saint Jhonny (1 hour away) and I have only seen them in Miraflores a few times (although one sister was a waitress at Zeta a few years back and that is how guys know the family). I know a few "gringo's" who have been invited in the past, but this is the first guy who could get past the "weirdness" factor! I would highly recommend you go to one of SlyOnes parties if you are into the kinkier side of Lima.

I just moved to Lima and will be here for at least 2-3 years, I have been to Relax y Vida many times before and also to Ying Yang Spa last year, can any of the senior members who live here recommend what is the best sauna for F/S?? Going to Sly's Halloween party Saturday (can't wait after reading all the great reports) and want to get a tune up before ..... Also, is it ever a good idea to bring any of the chicas home? I have a killer apartment on The Malecon with a view to die for and I really want to bless the place to get a good vibe going for the future...

Lot's of places to go for sun in the winter, I like Chaclacayo & Cieneguilla on my free weekends and am thinking of building up there.I realize it's an old report, but I'm curious about Cieneguilla. Would it be completely insane to stay there on a short (10 days) visit to Lima? A buddy and I are planning to visit in April and we could rent a house w/ a private pool there for a very reasonable price. Is it too long from Miraflores and would girls be willing to visit? Also, just wonder what would a driver with a car cost me for daily trips to Lima from there?

Once you are in Lima, you get excellent vallue for your money. You don't need a lot, but you can't be that cheap either. Any of the ones I have experienced here were well worth it

Boy, that was one great party I went to last night at Sly's place in Lima, there was so much pussy available that I didn't have enough tongues, dicks or hands to keep up with all the action.

An old Wingman came into Lima last night and begged me to go with him to the Trocadero, in Calleo. Not sure of the spelling . Anyway it was 15 Soles admission, and 20 soles for sexo. I´m not much of a tour guide. There are many alternatives depending on what you are looking for, how far you can travel, how much time you have and how much you want to spend. But if Xpartan is just looking for someplace nearby where there is always sun and a good place to bring a chica, I would go for El Pueblo Hotel in Santa Clara, its locatedc about 10 minutes before Chosica. (Although the traffic is also horrible for this destination).

They meet approximately once per month in a hotel in Lince.
I have been to a couple of meetings and found them very slow.

Voltage in Peru is 220 Volts, while in other countries in SA like Colombia or Brasil is 120 V. Voltage in the US is 120V.
Make sure that your minifridge is 110 - 240 V, this way it will work everywhere. If your minifridge is not 110 - 240 V then you can buy a 110 to 220 V converter in places like radioshak in larcomar for about 40 Soles.
The reason why your camera and ipod has never given you any trouble is that the power adaptors are 110 - 240 V. Most adaptors for small applyances have this universal power.
In any case is better to check the voltage in the applyance before connecting it, some are still 110 V only or 220 V only.

Forgetting the plug for a moment.
You need a 110 volt AC to 220 volt AC switch mode power supply and even better for a small fridge with 12 volt DC plug also which will allow you to also plug it in to say a car cigerette lighter when travelling.
The switch mode power supply will detect what the input voltage is, be it 110 volt or 220 volt and changes automatically to suit.
Similar your Phone and Lap Top charger.

Peru uses 240V vs the 120V in USA. Many consumer electronic devices can use 120V or 240V, my laptop charger will, but I've had other items fry themselves when plugged into 240V in Peru.

I went to one on a Friday night (in September 2009) at Hollywood Suites Hotel. The cost was only 50 soles for a couple and included 1 drink. The party occupied the entire top floor reserving 3 private rooms (1 with jacuzzi), 4 voyer curtained areas with bed & chairs, and a large mingling/dance area. I went with my gf out of curiosity.
The event started at 9 pm but we went at 11 pm (Peru time). We found about 25 very friendly but very average people aged about 40~50+. I met 1 younger married couple in their early 30's but they were the exception. Most were people you would see walking down the street & not give them a second look.
After about 30 minutes of chatting with the younger couple, my gf wanted to leave. I persuaded her to go to a private room for just the 2 of us. I fucked her for about 40~45 minutes but couldn't finish because about every 10~15 minutes we got a knock at the door from someone asking if they could join us. I think I might have finally gave her a CIMWS.
We showered up and rejoined the party about 1 am. The other private rooms were occupied but the voyer rooms were still empty. There were other people, some younger but definitely not like in the movies!

Yep! Sly is right! Just look at the charging device. It will say something like "INPUT 100-240V" so they can be used anywhere the plug fits! I have used my laptop, digital camera, & cell phone chargers in USA, India, China, Japan, Mexico, Peru, and other countries without problem!
However, some chargers like for my Nintendo DS are only made for 110V systems. If this is the case, you will quickly destroy the device if plugged into a 220V outlet. I wanted to bring my wireless router to Lima to have wi-fi in my rental apartment but it is only for 110V.
