I just came across this site and immediately became a member.

I'm from Suriname so I pretty know what's going on here.

Since roughly 120, 000 of the 480, 000 people of Suriname live in the capital Paramaribo everything happens here, and I do mean EVERYTHING: )

Clubs in Paramaribo can be divided in "classy" and "low-class". The Top 3 (in my opinion): *Diamond *Club Aventura (means Adventure in Portuguese) *Condor

Diamond is the biggest. They have the biggest building and the most girls. The other two are in smaller houses which have been remodelled and re-decorated into a club. Prices and quality are basically the same.

What they offer: -All 3 clubs offer stripshows on Wednesday/ Friday and Saturday. - prices are SRD 100 (30 minutes) or US$100 for a whole night (US$ 100= SRD 300. SRD is Suriname dollar) - Brazilians (I've only seen brazilians in these 3) - drinks are higher priced than in town. Not a problem. -Music: Brazilian and nowadays hits.

Since I'm a frequent visitor of Diamond I can't tell much about the other 3. In fact last couple of months I've been to Diamond exclusively.

They are located at the H. J. De Vries straat 21 ("straat" = street in dutch), which is a very bad road. Drive slowly if you don't have a SUV.

Entrance is free except on the days they have a special program including a live Brazilian band (Friday, Saturday)

You'll have to pay SR$ 5 for an entrance ticket. On these days you can expect a strip show starting at 12pm or sometimes 1 in the morning. This is somewhat disappointing since that is very late and you only get to see 3 or 4 shows. The strippers are somewhat chubby.

Better stripshows are at CONDOR which has them on wednes/ fri/Saturday. (the same goes here--entrance -SR$5) and starting at 11. 30 pm.

Diamond is open from 9 pm till 3. 30 am (Friday and Saturday till 5. 30 am)

Prices are SRD 100 for a short time (30 minutes). You go to her own room upstairs. Rooms are equiped with airco, shower/ toilet, TV. And very clean and comfortable. Rooms at the other clubs are very much a let down.

If you stay longer than 30 minutes there is a pretty good chance one of the watchmen comes knocking at the door. (If you are a frequent visitor they aren't that strict or try to bribe them with a SRD 20).

Prices for a short time are negotiable. You can pay SRD80. However if you pay less you'll get less.

If you want the lady for the whole night there are 2 options:

1. You pay US$ 100 (for the girl) and SRD 50 to the club and you go to her room. You can sleep there till 7 or 8 am.

2. You can also take the girl to a Hotel (or your own house. Yes there are guys who do that; most of them45+ old guys / businessmen whose wife is abroad). Good Hotels are Torarica and Krasnapolsky (very expensive) or you could go to other Hotels (see phonebook if you are there or ask the taxies which are standing outside every night). NONE of the hotels, no matter how expensive they are will refuse you if you come with a hooker! In case you go to a hotel you'll have to pay SRD 50 to Diamond and US$ 100 for the lady and ofcourse the rates for the hotel room. Note that some of the women want to be back at 5. 30! (so they won't stay with you till 7 or 8 or till you have to check out)

At day time the girls are free. Since the bar opens at noon you can go and take the girls out if you like. Most men bring them to go for a swim. You can also "work" with them as they call it. The only difference is that during the day there is no time limit. So if you pay SRD 100 and the lady likes you she can keep you for hours! After all they are in their free time.

Oh yeah, they had a lingerie night on Friday 28 October. All the women have to wear only lingerie (clothes are forbidden). Mostly last Friday of the month they hold this night.

When it comes to the girls those of Club Aventura are better looking (Diamond has some bad ones and good ones) but the rooms are bad. There are 4 or 5 girls sleeping in a room in Aventura. SO if you have to pay SRD 100 (in Aventura you have to pay an extra SRD 10 for the room) and you get such a room You'll prefer Diamond. There are girls there as good as those at Aventura. I haven't done it a Condor, Only watched their stripshow.

There is also a club called "CLUB 77" Haven't checked it out since it is quite a distance for me, but I've heard that it can compete with the 3 I know.

Now, the "lesser" clubs: -Because they are cheaper. (all give you 30 minutes) La Vida =SRD 50 Manilla Inn Mundial Don't know the prices of the other 2 but all prices are negotiable. These club have girls from Dominica, Columbia and Brazil.

All clubs give you condoms!

The local women. Remember it is a small country with only 120, 000 in the capital so you won't find many Surinam street hookers. I personally don't do anal sex and many of the girls neither. If, however you want it badly, it's upto your skills to convince her to do it. Even in the Clubs anal is somewhat taboo. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll find a willing one.

On the 25th of November Suriname celebrated Indepedence Day (30 years).
Diamond had a great lingerie night. Stayed there from midnight till 5.30 in the morning with one of the girls.

Thank you Mr. Crown for a very comprehensive and accurate report. I have been to Surinam a few times and everything you say is correct. My specialty is anal sex and I found that this is the place to be if you want to explore those possibilities.

paramaribo, suriname: police in suriname are investigating a case of suspected [CodeWord908] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord908) and have so far arrested one suspect. brothel keeper henry kunath was detained last week in paramaribo for alleged embezzlement and trafficking of women.

police said that his arrest came after a complaint was filed that he allegedly under false pretext lured a brazilian woman to travel to suriname for work. police inquiries reveal that kunath had promised the woman work as a waitress in his brothel, club diamond.

on arrival in suriname she was ordered to work as a prostitute, but she refused. the club owner subsequently confirep001ed her documents, ticket and passport to force her to cooperate and earn money as a prostitute to refund the expenses he paid on her behalf to come to suriname.

kunath recently returned to suriname after serving a jail term in neighboring brazil for trafficking of women. in october 2000 the federal police in brazil arrested him at the airport in belém do para just before he boarded an airplane destined for suriname. in his possession he had a large sum of cash.

the brothel keeper was then accompanied by four women who he allegedly tried to smuggle to suriname for prostitution. his detention in brazil came after a warrant from interpol.

two years ago the united states of america put suriname on a so-called ‘black list’ of countries accused of not doing enough to combat [CodeWord908] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord908) on and through their territories.

suriname has since then made some progress in addressing this issue and eventually tried its first [CodeWord908] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord908) case. this resulted in the conviction earlier this year of a high ranking public official for his involvement in a prostitution ring. he allegedly lured under-aged women from guyana to suriname and exploited them for prostitution.

This club gets going about 10pm and has about 30 girls, all from outside Suriname, mostly from northern Brasil, and less than 10 guys there then - I never went or stayed late because of work. The first time I was there I sat beside a quiet dark-complexioned girl at the bar who was not particularly pretty and looked in her mid-to-late 20s. But since she was one of the few who spoke English, coming from Guyana, I decided to picked her for ST. Besides I could chalk up another nationality in my mongering worldwide. We went upstairs to her room which she seemed to live in on her own. She was quite flexible with different positions, and at one point I fucked her standing bent over near the dressing mirror. Can't remember what I paid but it was a standard rate for all girls at the club and neither too expensive or very cheap by 'western' standards. Yes indeed, the bigger hotels like Torarica are very stict about bringing female guests.If you read the newspapers during your stay (I hope you speak Dutch) then you must have noticed that the government is taking action (trying at least) against the trafficking of women who come here to work as prostituets. So no wonder the big hotels are being safe.

The only time I did it in Aventura was a few months ago. It was also in a shared room. Maybe we had the same room 'cause everything you said was the same as what I saw overthere. Only difference was that there was a girl sleeping in one of the beds (was a bit sick I heard from my sexpartner.)

My girl was Tatiana, a brazilian (indian I guess).

Price SRD 100 for a ST + SRD 10 for the room.

How much did you pay? You said you don't remember but I think the prices haven't changed.

I was in Paramaribo not long ago and managed to get away one night to check out Condor as it was recommended for the strip show. Well, I have to say, the show left something to be desired, but the girls, all of whom, I believe were Brasillian were very nice, if a bit on the plump side.

The girl I took upstairs was not very happy with her situation. She said that working as a prostitute wasn't a problem for her, but she didn't like being stuck at Condor - the proprietor apparently took her passport from her and won't give it back until the end of her 12 month "contract". Furthermore, she said that the reason all the girls are a bit on the plump-side is that the proprietor insists that they fatten themselves up in order to increase their bust size.

The fact that the proprietor was holding her passport, does not, in my opinion constitute "trafficking" as mentioned in a previous post due to the fact that she told me she travelled to Paramaribo with the intention of working as a Prostitute and had done the same sort of thing in other countries in the past - she just didn't like the facilities or the management. It is a bit disturbing though, that she didn't have the freedom to leave if she so desired, sort of like endentured servitude, as I suspect the proprietor paid for her transportation from Brazil to Paramaribo and was holding her passport until he got his money back (and then some).

I can't comment on the management, but I can understand her disappointment with the facilities - I was sweating like a pig in the room that she shared with at least one other girl (no air conditioning, though you can clearly hear the airconditioner from the building next door, which I find infuriating as sweat drips off my body). The bed had no pillows, so she had a tendency to knock her head on the steel frame of the bed during the course of our exercises.

Next time around, if I ever get back, I'll have to check out Diamond (I heard the rooms had air conditioning?) or one of the other places - Manilla Hotel (near the docks, apparently - Brasillian and Dominicanas) or Aventura (I hear this one is basically the same as Condor - no Air Con in the rooms which are shared by 2 or 3 girls).

Recently in the Dutch media i read some articles about violence in paramaribo against homeless people. More and more of those got killed allready this year.
The murderes are not arrested (yet) by the police.
Also more and more attacks have been reported against turists.

Do any of you guys out there can confirm this??????

Yes, for almost a month now, homeless people are being killed on the streets. Even though many people find them a nuisance, the brutallity of these killings makes you shiver. It's a very sad thing. It reminds me of the killing of street children and wanderers in Brazilian cities by businessman.

I don't approve of these killings and hope something will be done to stop them and help get these people of the streets.

But Suriname and Paramaribo is quite safe. Don't believe everything you read in the dutch media about us. They usually exaggerate in a very negative way.

If you walk in the city you'l be amazed how many dutch tourists you see.

So get here as soon as possible and have fun!

i arrive in the early evening at saint laurent on the maroni river separating french guiana and suriname. the last ferry is at 17h30 and the border is closed. i watch the small motor boats trafficking between the two borders from a beach at 100m from the official customs. i negotiate the trip for 10€ and here i am illegally in suriname with only my passport, cash money and my cellular phone. there is a night market in this small town named albina. the ruling language is not anymore french but dutch, as well as the surinamian tak tak. in a chinese shop i change my euro into surinamian dollars at the rate 1€/3.6srd. i then negotiate a taxi trip to paramaribo at 40 srd. the taxi starts at once and we drive at 130km/h in the middle of the jungle night on a narrow road. the trip lasts 2 hours, i socialize with the other passengers. in the middle of the trip, we have flat tire. with the small spare tire we continue at the same speed.

the arrival at paramaribo is magical, from the huge bridge across the suriname river, there is a nice sightseeing of the city. i am very excited knowing that i will spend a whole night exploring this city unknown to me. i realize that i do not travel to fuck, but i fuck to travel.

the taxi leaves me at the taxi station downtown close to the central market. here will i have to take again my taxi back. i take a regular taxi which brings me for 10 srd to my first address, diamonds in a residential area at h.j. de vries straat 21. if i have chosen to start here, it’s because it’s the largest brothel of suriname. i pay the netrance fee and enter. it is indeed very large, and even if it is air-conditioned, it is not very upscale and the music is loud. it is 22h00, the club has just opened but there are already forty girls all brazilian and plenty of customers.

There are advertisements in the newspapers for escorts but the selection is very limited and you do not always get what you want. This Easter I went again to the district of Nickerie. Every year with Easter Nickerie is packed with people from Paramaribo and other parts of the country, so it gets real busy in this normally small and boring city.

Last year I was there with some friends and had a great time in what is supposed to be the best brothel there: “Dragon”. This year I was determined not only to repeat but also to check out the other places. Since I placed Dragon in the lower class clubs compared to those in Paramaribo I didn’t expect too much of the others.

The 3 best-known clubs are: Dragon, Green Dolphin and Diamond.

Visited Dragon Friday night and was totally shocked! The place was dead!
There were only a few girls, some which were completely ugly; and a bunch of even uglier looking guys. What had happened to this place in just a year’s time??? I still remember how the place was packed with nice looking girls just a year ago. Now it was a sad sight. OK, there was a stripshow going on as I entered, but it was nothing to write home about. Yes, Perola is quite safe to go. They are open every day. However, it's NOT a tourist hotel. They focus on Brazilians coming from the interior parts of Suriname. These people tend to rent a room for a long time.I'd really suggest to stay in a normal hotel.

I don't know the prices of the girls. I haven't been with them since I am really a Diamond addict :D
I don't know if these girls do ST but usually TLN is USD100 almost everywhere. Try to get it for less if possible. Try to get some info at the bar from the other guys. If the girls are there to work, don't expect any free stuff.

Visited Parbo a few days at the end of 2007, my ideas :

- Diamond Club : free entrance (it was a friday, they told us it's usual to have a live brazilian band concert each saturday, so the saturdays there's a fee, don't know exact price). I will be arriving in Paramaribo on Monday, March 24, for one night, and returning Thursday, March 27, for a second night. I will be on a tour of Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana arranged by Dagron Tours in Georgetown, Guyana: http://www.dagron-tours.com/. Don't worry, you will not generate hostility. Although I have no experience with it, it seems to me that meeting local girls is more difficult than Brazilians. Maybe Mister Crown has more information about this.

I will be on a tour of Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana arranged by Dagron Tours in Georgetown, Guyana: http://www.dagron-tours.com/. It's called the 3 Guianas Budget Tour and lasts 8 days; cost $2500, not including international air fare.

Recently there was an article in the newspaper about a group of British touroperators who wanted to offer exactly the same tour!

the Dagron tour is still cheaper than going on my own.

I can't comment on this one, but the main reason why this thread isn't as crowded as others on ISG is because of the lack of international mongers. Yes, it can be expensive to get here, but I really wonder if a tour is much cheaper.

--The top 3 clubs for mongering in Paramaribo are Diamond, Club Aventura, and Condor, in that order. Diamond is the biggest, but price and quality seem to be the same in all three.

I have been to Diamond a few times and IMHO they are not that good anymore. Maybe I'm bored with the line-up and the quality?
However, there are stil some nice ones. A friend of mine (on vacation in Suriname) went there a couple of times and he had some good sessions.
So, just give it a try.

GOOD NEWS:

There is a new club called: El Molina. If you have time for just one club I think you should go there.At the moment they are simply NUMBER 1.
I have been there a couple of times. The girls (Brazilians) are better looking than in Diamond and more friendly (at least to me). They have better stripshows and the atmosphere is what I used to experience at Diamond's in the good old days.

They are located at the corner of the Wanicastraat and Dr.Sophie Redmondstraat. The girls ask SRD 150 for 30 minutes, but you can negotiate with them. Most will go with you for SRD120-130.
Normally I don't negotiate prices, but if all the quality clubs charge SRD 100 for a ST than SRD150 is simply ridiculous.
The Prices:
30 min-----> SRD 150 (120-130)
60 min-----> SRD 250
I still have to ask the price for TLN.

They are open from monday till saturday starting 10 PM till 5 AM.

The "lesser" club: Manilla Inn has improved their line-up. Prices are SRD 70-80 for ST, but I have never been with one of their girls (yet).

Remember that Suriname is not a latin country where people only speak spanish or portuguese. English is almost a second language so you should have NO problems at all.

I don't think the local girls are as easy as in other countries, BUT many girls still like to have a white guy for some extra cash! The best places to try your luck would be the nightlife centre and discos in the weekend.

Tourism is becoming more important every day. I already talked about those British touroperators. Also many in the Netherlands and some in Germany are trying to promote Suriname as a destination for a good tropical/ jungle vacation. You'll see many white people in Paramaribo. Don't worry. Thanks a million for your feedback. I will definitely try El Molina and Diamond. I think I will have time for both.

The reason it is expensive to go on your own is as follows. (Note: what I am about to say applies to travel from the US, not from Europe. This may not be applicable to Europeans.) If you want to see all 3 Guianas, it makes sense to fly to either Guyana or French Guiana, then go to Suriname either overland or by air (there is no air connection between Paramaribo and Cayenne), then from Suriname to whichever of the outside countries you didn't start from, and fly home from there. The problem is that flying either to or from USA-French Guiana is that it is both extremely expensive and very complicated. After searching as many air travel websites as I could, I couldn't find a fare less than US$1700. Moreover, traveling from Miami-Cayenne or Cayenne-Miami involves at least 4 and sometimes six stops at various Caribbean islands, plus an overnight stay in Miami. Definitely not worth it! The Dagron tour starts in Georgetown, then a flight to Paramaribo, then overland to FG, overland back to Paramaribo, then by air back to Georgetown, all in 8 days. This may sound stupid, but it is worth it because a round trip to-from Georgetown is much cheaper and involves only one stop, in Trinidad.

Another problem with going on your own: just try to find a flight from Georgetown-Paramaribo, or try to contact Suriname Airways, or whatever their airline is called. I just couldn't do it, and I couldn't find a travel agent who was willing to try. So it's just much less hassle to let Dagron do it. BTW, I'll report on the tour as well as mongering after it's over. Finally, I have no idea how much it would cost to travel overland from Paramaribo to FG, but transportation by private car and ferry is included in the tour price.

I hope to be posting in a couple of weeks.

1.You'll defintely need a car to visit all the clubs. If you rent a car, make sure to check out the exact location of the places at daytime. Please note that in Suriname we drive on the left side of the road!
I think a taxi is the best choice for the first night. After 1 or 2 days, you'll know how to get to all the places with your eyes closed.:D

2.TLN: You can take the girls out whenever you want. However, TLN means that you can have her till closing time of the clubs (5 AM in the weekends). So the earlier you take her away, the better for you.
Some of these girls however, don't like to go out that early, because they can make some extra cash with ST in the clubs; especially in the weekends.

@ Sparksx:

The girls you mentioned (Carolina/ aventura and Karolin/Condor) are no longer there. I don't go that often to both these clubs, but during my last visit there last week, I didn't see them.

Most girls have a nice and relax attitude. Don't worry about that.

In all the clubs you can either work "on site" with the girls or take them to your place. Most of the time the girls want to be back at closing time, but it's also possible to have her for a longer period. You just need to make it clear from the start what you want from her.

Thanks. Planning on a summer trip to the area. Like a smaller location with less attention that is off the beaten path as far as countries go. Colombia and Brazil are becoming too gringo (which I am one, of course) busy and even Lima has gotten too much attention lately from foreigners.

While there is still activity and lots of non-pro action, because of the influx it is becoming increasingly difficult the more mainstream those countries and expensive. I am in Miami so flights to Latin America are still cheap, but prefer safer destinations as I am not a large miltary trained guy.

I recently got back from my "3 Guianas Budget Tour" with Dagron Tours. Although I visited Paramaribo, I regret to say that I didn't get to monger there, mainly due to lack of time and to having to get up early. I stayed over one night after leaving Guyana, got in late, didn't finish dinner until 10, then had to get up early the next morning to drive to French Guiana. On the way back, after driving from Albina, I again was free after 9pm but was just too tired to monger, knowing that I had to get up early again the next morning. I feel that I owe an apology to all the guys who were helpful with providing information, especially Routard and Mr Crown. I'm sorry I don't have a report to submit. If I had only had one more day in Suriname I'm sure I would have been able to monger, but that's the way it goes.

However, I may be able to contribute one small something, which may be a new mongering spot that I have never seen mentioned on this thread. In my hotel room was a Dutch language newspaper named XpEdition, Paradise Magazine, which was clearly intended for Dutch tourists. Now I don't speak or read Dutch, but Dutch is similar enough to English that I was able to make some of it out. There was a full page article about a place called Club Platinum, and it is clearly a mongering spot. For example, there is a picture of a somewhat skanky scantily clad black girl looking at the camera with a come hither look. The location of Club Platinum is Hoogestraat 51 in Paramaribo, if anyone wants to check it out.

I know the place. I have been there a couple of times. The reason I didn't mention it on this board is because it is more a kind of stripclub, NOT a brothel. They are open everyday except on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 PM till 4 or 5 AM.
It's next to a cheap brothel called "Osi's Place". I haven't mentioned that one before, because I think it's a waste of time.

Just arrived in Suriname and so far I like what I see here.

Went to el Molina with some friends had a good time, about 10-12 girls there and most of them looked good. We all paid 150 srd for a damn good half hour (some of us longer, girls didn’t seem to mind the extra time if you were nice to them). Few days later my friends went to diamonds (I couldn’t go here on work and got to busy to party) and all three of them had a bad experience there. Moving to Parbo to run Marathon on the 22th of November of 2008, after running it as quick as I can (! ), I wash myself and start a Parbo Sex Tour.

Starting with a striptease at El Condor, there were more or less about 6 to 8 Brasilians and 20 costumers. The show wasn't so attractive, girls sticked in their sight, and every body watching «*a girl getting nude*». After a Parbo, I left to go by walk to El Mundial.

El Mundial, on Saturday at 1. 00 PM show me a poor ambiance with less than 6 brazilians, not so exciting and excited. Few customers were watching «*marchandises*» and I left quicky. Surprised not to see attractive brasilians, I went to Manilla Inn, by walk as well.

Manilla Inn was much more crowded than the two previous. About 30 Brazilians, most of them light skin, few of them were attractive, but they don't really warm me up. So, looking for a straight fucking session to empty my bollocks before a good session (expected) at Diamond, I went to La Vida.

Going my way, I passed behind El Mundial, and had a new stop.

At about 1. 30 PM, at El Mundial, they were no more than 2 or 3 girls, and 1 or 2 costumers/guys. Quickly, I saw a Brune Brasilian, blue eyes, white skin and long hair, more or less my Topic. Trying to speak with her in english, we run through details and she wrote me on her phone: 80. In between 30 minutes I stay there, security guard had to eject 2 people making trouble (1 man and 1 woman). Music was pleasant, because quite different than others clubs. Remembering the situation, I should be the only white inside, that didn't disturbe anyone, neither me. I tried to do my best to find some exciting aspect on one of these old fat mamas, which there have anyway in the eyes of hundreds black customers, but my fantasies were still frozen and in the fog. What a trouble to run marathon before looking for a sex session! So my taxi driver, still waiting for me, bring me to Osis, that I forgot in center town.

Parked in front of Osis, I saw Platinum which is a gay club in the opinion of my taxi driver, so we climbed directly to the Osis's first floor. Club El Molina is really something else.
One the first floor you have the brothel and on the ground a normal bar where many older, black people go.
This is quite funny because everyone can see you taking the stairs to the nightclub/ brothel. I think you have been in the wrong section :D
One more funny thing:
Club Molina is right next to the home of a minister in the government cabinet. Just look at the flag in front of the house:D

Just take the stairs and you'll see one of the best, clubs with a great atmosphere. They have a great Brazilian Live band which is better than what they have at Diamonds.You should go there on Wednesday and on Friday, Saturday.
They have very nice, beautiful Brazilian girls who are quite eager to please you.

The main difference between Molina and Diamond is that you don't have to pay entrance at Molina.
Prices are the same: SRD 150/ 30 minutes.However, Diamond has better facilities (all rooms have a bathroom in Diamond which I find more hygienic).

Last time I was at Molina, they had a Halloween party: All the girls dressed as vampires, devils, skeletons or witches. It was a great sight, but I had an appointment with my regular at Diamond so I didn't go with any of them.

Hello. It is good to see some movement on this board for a change! And thanks to all for the insightful posts. I can confirm a few things. One, without a doubt, Diamonds is the best of the best. Travel Fool, thanks to your description I was able to find and visit El Molina last weekend (it was exactly where you described it)!

Overall I was impressed with the club. The "club/brothel"-section opens at 11:00 but girls keep coming in hours after that. The music was good and it there was even a live band. The prices also are a bit cheaper (150 SRD compared to 170 SRD in Diamonds). The girls though are a bit passive and sit/wait until you make an appointment/transaction with the "manager".

I have heard a lot about Diamonds, but not much else about places to stay Chica friendly hotels near diamonds etc. Is diamonds far from the airport? I should be there next week and want to book a nearby hotel any recomendations?

A common mistake:
The airport is NOT in Paramaribo, but in Zandery which is about 40km away from our capital Paramaribo. There is nothing near the airport such as hotels, banks, clubs etc. The trip to Paramaribo will take 1hour (depending on the traffic).

If the hotel has to be near Diamond I'd recommend the Marriott Hotel. They are just 2 streets away from Diamond.
In december 2009 -januari 2010 I used to spend the night there with my regular girl from Club Condor (now closed :() and never had problems. After all, their prices are for either 1 or 2 persons per room. A third person will cost you an extra USD 30. A king-size room cost me USD 150/ night. I don't know the current prices.

Another option, which is much cheaper: Hotel ABC. Rates are in the order of USD 50/ night. My problem there is that the beds are squeaking a lot when you're busy enjoying your girl. Further, not a bad hotel at all.

Spend 2 weeks in Paramaribo in September; on a pretty tight schedule, however found some time to relax. Recommend Diamond disco, beatiful ladies, either Brazilian, Guyana or DR. IMHO the best place in town, however the other 'experience' I have is the massage salon Excellente, which is awful! Yep, indeed Diamond seems to be the best available option in the whole galldarn country. It really is nothing worth writing a postcard for, but still not bad. I have been to this village, Afobakka, that is the last dim light of "civilization" that Brazilian gold-digger know before recommending their sould to the good lord and cross the lake into the jungle to the mines. Had I just woken up in Afobakka I would have sweared I was in Africa. Let's say Zimbabwe, or DRC. And yes, I mean the rural areas! It is one fokkall little village forgotten by god, inhabitated by blacks living in wooden huts, and the red soil dust covers just about everything.

Strange country indeed. But oh well.

Asa far I have seen the club Diamond no longer is the best spot in town to buy some punani at. The club is actually as good as dead, or better said, the only thing that keeps it from actually being dead is death. No fun to be had in Diamond anymore, however, the same owner has moved for a while the action towards club Condor where it has been at until two weeks ago. Condor has now mutated into a regular club, and while Diamond prolonges its agony the new spot in town has come in full effect; club LaPinha; don't remember what the street name is but you don't even need it as everybody knows where it is.

LaPinha is also owned and managed by the same people.

The structure is a large, hotel-like villa recently built at the end of a residential street out of the city centre.

Ground floor has an open area with swimming pool and pooltables, plus a fairly large indoor area with disco, bar and a small stage.

Talent on the spot is split equally between colombianas, jamaicans and the never-diing brazilians.

Mostly 5's and 6's with many 7's and a few 8's or borderline 9's. No absolute tens.

There is a slight tendency of the girls to try and scrounge drinks, so be prepared. It doesn't get to the point where it becomes fastidious but most probably you will decide when it's time to say no and act accordingly or else it can get out of control.

Service is generally good to very good, no matter to which of the three groups the provider belongs to.

Price structure is the same as Diamond; 200 SRD for half an hour. 400 for the hour.

The take away has been touched tho, and it now amounts to about 250 USD if I'm not mistaking and it can last a maximum of four hours.

The place is clean, secure and well managed.

Take an eye on the drinks bill tho as they can try and overcharge sometimes.

General service from the bar is also good.

The place runs a day shift wich I'm not sure abouit and a night shift that starts at 10 o'clock pm and goes untill 4 or 5 in the morning.

Lots of fun to be had spending nights in there but it gets stale easily as the overalll number of girls is not that high, I'd say about 40 or so, and I have seen no turnover during the ten days that I have spent there.

The once-popular late-night pick up spot El Molina is also on its way to the sunset it seems.

I have heard the management had been acting rude with the girls driving them away and with them the punters. Hadn't been there tho.

Last note, street prostitution seems to be picking up tho, and quite some stunners can be found driving around after sunset. Locals, and mostly at least a bit on the "ghetto" side of appearence but nice stuff too. Can't pinpoint any definite spot for the street pick up tho, just drive around if that's what you're looking for and eventually you will find something.

ThanksWell, it's simple. Suriname isn't a very popular destination for tourists! Most foreigners are Dutch of Surinamese origin! Therefor that section never got into real development like Curacao or Dominican Republic.

Since I was at the Marriott, I walked to Diamonds, it's like 4 blocks away on a suburb street (weird zoning here because you also see Chinese restaurants wedged between houses on suburb streets.

The sign said it had moved (I think that's what it said) so I started to head over to the new address (382 Anton Dragtenweg) which is on the same road as the Marriott headed a few miles away from the city (towards Leonsburg).

The new place is amazing. It was $10 SRD to get in ($3 USD) and a beer was $4 USD. I tried to walk in 12 minutes before 10 when this big white Dutch dude bouncer came over to me but he was cool when he realized I didn't know they opened at 10 pm.

All the girls I encountered were straight off the boat and do not speak English, Spanish only. Things will go much smoother if you speak Spanish. I was told that there were 70 there (I was there early and they started rolling in) and that 66 of them were from Venezuela (and 4 from Brazil).

My gal arrived the day before (she showed me her passport). All the girls live in this big house and have numbered rooms with 2 beds (one to sleep in and one to work in). They have shelves of food, their own bathroom. So it's sort of like walking into their apartment. The place has open WiFi as well.

Prices: Tourist card $35 USD. Taxi to the city 175 Suriname Dollars (SRD) or pay $40 USD. An ATM gave me 6. 98 SRD for 1 USD. But the ATM at the airport most likely will not work for you. Entry to the Diamond Club on Sunday was free. A rum and coke was $30 SRD. A Heineken cost me $20 SRD. The girls drink real drinks, not fake drinks. I bought a drink for a girl without asking the cost. It looked like she had a whiskey and can of soda water. The price was $55 SRD. Sounds like a lot but that is less than $8 USD. Fucky Fucky, or chiiky chiiky, like she said it, cost $350 SRD for 30 minutes. I imagine you pay $700 SRD for an hour. The local currency is diving against the USD. I don't know if the club is trying to match the USD in prices. $350 SRD for sex isn't bad, but if the USD was weaker, that would be very expensive. I couldn't imagine many locals wanting to pay $350 SRD for 30 minutes with a girl. Less than a year ago $350 SRD was more than $100 USD.

Some food prices. Burger at "T Vat" restaurant, which is a prime location was $20 SRD. A fancy cocktail was $35 SRD. No tax or anything was on the bill. I was at a bar called the River Club, which shows up on the maps at Hotel Stardust. It was fun on a Sunday. It has a pool there, and had a live band. Many people where in the pool. A 16 ounce local beer was $13 SRD. Chicken Satay was $15 SRD for 3 sticks. Snacks and drinks at a small market are about 2/3 the price of the US. Imported liquor at a store isn't cheap. I'd say about 15% more for imported liquor than the US. Local liquor is pretty cheap.

Yesterday I wrote about Diamond Club being 350 SRD. I didn't bother trying to negotiate. A man in Lapinha told me he can get girls in Diamond Club for 250 - 300 SRD. I should not have assumed it was a set price there. So, negotiate there. The money I gave to to the lady in Diamond Club went straight to the club, but I think you can negotiate what she hands to the club.

He travels the world doing IT stuff, but his parents are in Suriname and he said he loves it here, so he lives here at the moment. He gave me lots of intel. I got his Whatsapp and tomorrow he will take me to a place with Suriname, Indian and Indonesian ladies. He said those kind of ladies don't really work in clubs though. I drove very very slow looking for the name of the clubs and I couldn't see any names. It isn't like a big Las Vegas sign or something.

Anyways, Diamond Club must have had about 60-80 girls. Laphinha only has about 20. In Diamond Club some girls are only average looking, but there are some hotties for sure. The girls love drinking and dancing and having fun. Some of them hop on the tables and have ass shaking contests, and strip down to their panties. I didn't actually see any strippers on Sunday. I found the Manila Club. That place is not marked at all. It is on Van Het Hogerhuysstraat cross street Molenpad.

I didn't go inside Mundial, but it about 2 blocks north of Manilla, on Commissari Straat and Van Het Hogerhuysstraat.

At Manilia I didn't see anything too interesting until right before I left. I seen some worn out ladies, looked like some Dominicans and Brazilians, and I heard Colombians and a I think I seen them outside later, but the the lady I took said there are also some Jamaicans. I have been here about 5 nights now. The popular clubs can be found on Google Maps now. Some clubs in order of of popularity. I am showing the name as shown on Google Maps. Nightclub Diamond, Manilla club, LaPinhia and Mundial Club. The Mundial Club and Manila club are very close to each other. Honestly Mundial club looks a little scary on the outside with local black types always standing outside. I'm not sure if I would walk in their alone. Since I don't bland in with the crowd. I have been to the other clubs before. But I will just talk about the 2 clubs I have been in this trip. I will look in LaPinhia tonight.

This trip. I went to Manila Club. About 35-40 girls were seen, and about the same number of guys. I was told there were 4 Brazilian girls there, and the rest were Dominicans and Colombians. There might be a couple Venezuelans and Jamaicans there. I was told so by two ladies. Some girls were pretty good looking, but nothing too hot. See if you can try to get her to 300 SRD, but not make them mad. 350 SRD seems to be an average price for 30 minutes. They don't seem to worried about the time though. Both places had no cover charge. And both places seemed to be 20 SRD for beers and simple drinks. The hours for the Nightclub Diamond at opens 10 PM every night. Sunday. Thursday the club closes at 4 AM the morning after. Friday and Saturday the club closes at 6 AM the morning after. There might not be many customers at 10 PM, but you will at least be the first guy to bang the girl for the day. I will go have a look at LaPinhia tonight. And see if I notice ant street walkers. I have seen some, but they were some ugly locals. Some of the local women are good looking, but not these street walkers.

Concerning the prices at Diamond: they are based on USD 50 for 30 min. So depending on the exchange rate you get the price in local currency which is SRD 375. Since this is a bit of an odd number many clients negotiate it down to SRD 350. Also many of the popular girls (try) to charge SRD 400 for 30 min. If you spend (like I do) 1 hour they are happy with 2 x 375 = SRD 750. I'd recommend the 1 h sessions because of the GFE you'll get in return. You can spend a few minutes of this session to shower together. In addition of having a clean / hygienic lady for DATY she'll most of the time will give you BBBJ without you asking here. At least my experience.

Taking a girl outside costs USD 350 but can be paid in SRD as well. The downside is that you cannot keep the chica long. The takeaway (they call it Salida) is for max 4 hours. So I prefer the 1 h sessions. Only 4 h is not worth it IMHO.

If you want unlimited time for Salida I'd recommend Manilla. I haven't been there in a while but a few months ago the Salida was USD 250 or about SRD 1500 and you can keep the chica for as long as you both please. At Manilla prices are negotiable because the girls are their own boss. In Diamond they have to pay the management very high prices for the room / food / drinks / ticket / contract. Many locals have an average salary of SRD 2500 so go figure. To still attract many customers the management of Diamond started organizing parties every Wednesday and Sunday. These are organized by the guys who usually run the popular discos / dancings. So these 2 days Diamond becomes a "regular danceclub" with many local women attending. The Diamond girls both party on these nights as work with clients.

In the past there were only Brazilian women in the clubs. Nowadays you'll see women from Venezuela and some from Colombia. Indeed the Venezolanas are the most jealous of these 3. I think it is because of the crisis back at home. They'l try to prevent you from spending your money on another chica. This applies to every workinggirl worldwide; but with the crisis in Venezuela in mind; it hurts them more to lose a good paying client.

I was here last year after there currency crashed and the prices for restaurants and super markets were very cheap. One year later the prices have caught up and the prices are much higher than they were.

Last night, Friday I went to LaPinhia. They charged me 10 SRD just to go in, and basic drinks are 20 SRD. I really didn't care if I got a girl or not, I just wanted a look. One bed is for the girl to sleep, and the other bed is used for 'work'. They don't do this in Manila, were the girls seem to be free. They appear to have the same owners though. Anyways, my time was just OK with this girl. Nothing special. She had a really pretty face and I wanted to stare at her ass or her face while fucking. She didn't seem to like me to look at her face. I thought that was odd. She didn't come close to doing any kissing. She kind of seemed to have no personality. The club had about 35 girls or so. It was decent. For exchange rates many of the common restaurants will give 7. 5 SRD for 1 USD. The clubs with the girls give 7. 4 SRD for 1 USD. The ATM gave me about 7. 4 SRD per 1 USD. The best rate was from the casino next to the Marriott. That casino gives 7. 6 SRD for 1 USD. They probably want to accumulate USD. A lot of places also take Euros.

I also drove around looking for street girls, but I got stopped at a police checkpoint. I was afraid I'd have to pay a bribe or something. But they eventually let me go. A few minutes later I seen another checkpoint. I decided to not be driving around there at night again. I never seen an street girls that are worth it anyways.

I stayed in Suriname for 9 nights and rented a car for 7 days. On my last night I had to return my rental car. It was rather pricey. About $52 USD a day. But it was a pretty nice car. They drive on the left side of the street! Anyways, on my last night after dropping off my car, I needed a taxi back to my Airbnb. I picked him up in front of the popular area of T' Vat. We talked a little then he said he could show me some clubs later. I kept trying to get him to agree to a price, but he kept saying don't worry about it. I know this is not good and he would not agree to a price. Anyways, at the end I had to struggle to make it $20 USD an hour. Just be very firm with a price per hour first.

He showed me places that had local girls. Places that I would not have found for sure. You have to know I went on a Monday night. Which is not a good night. The places:

First club. The first place we went is called Bar Excellente. It is on Nadiastraat about 20 meters from Helenstraat. This is actually shown on Google maps as 'Bar excellente' You will really only notice the place to park from the street and in the parking lot you will see a place that looks like a brothel type bar. Here you can find the different types of Surinamese girls, blacks, Indonesian, and Indian. It was a Monday, so it was not a good night. Price is 175 SRD for 30 minutes, 250 SRD for an hour. I seen about 8 girls, but I really was not interested in the girls I seen.

Second club. We then went to a place called Tops. It is on Kwattaweg near the street Welgelenstraat. Look on Google maps for Palak Fashion. It is I think in the same parking lot. This is probably the place people said was 474 Kwattaweg. Inside the bar they have a sign 474 on the wall. This not a quiet massage place like some might describe it. It is a bar with some rooms. Price listed is 200 SRD for half an hour. Only 2 girls were working. One Surinamese lady that was very mixed. And a very rare light-skinned indigenous woman. They weren't bad looking, but I wanted to see more places.

Third club. A place called Omini. It is on Kwattaweg about 20 meters West of Schimmelpenninckstraat. There was a glowing sign on the main street that looked like an 8. It was a bad night there, only 2 local women, but they were very nasty. I wouldn't have sex with them if they paid me 500 SRD. I was told all the places are much better Thursday. Saturday. I didn't ask for the price.

The driver couldn't think of many more places. He said it is a bad night and still somewhat early. It was about 10:30 PM. We went back to Bar Excellente. Once again I wasn't impressed, but I did see an extra Indian girl this time, but I just didn't like her. We decided to leave, and then I saw a really good looking Indian girl. One of them really good looking, but she was busy talking to some guys. I don't know the prices. I was told it is a good place to go Thursday. Saturday.

Since the driver seemed to screw me over at the end I won't be keeping his number for long. Just find you a taxi driver that hangs out in the touristy area in front of the T'Vat bar, Google maps 'Sidewalk Cafe 't Vat' , I'm sure all the drivers that hunt tourists like me know all these places, and they can get you 'medical' stuff it that's what you want.

The inflation is very high in Suriname. The currency crash has taken it's effect. Prices in the markets and restaurants seem to me up by 50% or more than what it was last year when I visited. The prices for the girls see the same though, so that is good. My best fuck there was a Venezuelan girl in Club Diamond named Chauri. She is hot and wanted to fuck more than I did. After fucking her, the other girls I had in Suriname were rather boring.
