When I get To Uruguay the sex hunting should be a goldmine. So I will post these questions? What newspapers and magazines have the sex ads in Uruguay? Is there A Late Night sex show with Sex ads in Uruguay like in Lima Peru? Well I hope to get some answers on this soon...... THanXXX,NIBU R.

Nibu,others,

I've done some research on Uruguay and it is NOT what I'd expected to be.
If youw ant cheap xxx, great varity of girls do NOT go to Uru.
!!!!!!!!!
Many "richer"Argentines and Urug. go there. So that is BAD for prices:-(

Prices are higher then in Brasil. Besides that...flying form Europe it means 15-18 hours in a plane:-(

If going NOT to Brasil I am still doubting between Ecuador and Argentina (BA Area).
Besides that Salvador,Recife and even Porto Seguro (all in Brasil)seem better places to be then in Punta del este..!!

Just my 2 cents.

Johan.

I am travelling to Uruguay in Mid September, prior to this I will be spending some time in BA & Cordoba and know the scene in both areas pretty well after 5 or six visits over the last two years. For four nights I will be staying in the Four Seasons resort in Carmelo. Does anyone know if this hotel is Chica friendly or more importantly what is the availibility of girls to your room. I will also be spending two nights in Punta Del Este at the Conrad Resort. Again does anyone have any knowledge about the availibility of girls in Punta Del Este and the Conrad Resort. I would appreciate any advice, help or hints anyone can make. Apart from the obvious. STAY IN BA!

if you don't meet some gals @ the Conrad maybe you drive and head South a bit to Maldonado to La Casa de Nana in the city of Maldonado approx 15 minute drive from Conrad

located Simon del Pino y Av Aigua , opens approx 8 - 9 pm, gals who work there tells me closes 4 - 5 am, and on street behind also another place think that street is Soriano but wouldn't swear toit, I found the chicas @ Nana's better though one who wasn't @ 10 in appearance maybe a 5 did get me off nicely.

A bit tricky to find for me the first time I went while it was raining, keep your eyes open in this particular neighborhood, have been a couple times and no one messed with me/us but if someone overly buzzed and not paying attention , careless potentially might have problem, its not like being on Golero in PDE with a buzz , put it that way.

I know someone in Punta who has past ties to the Conrad and will be seeing him Aug 25thish when I come back and can ask him.

If your going to be there b4 Sept 10, PM me and we can meet up @ Conrad or elsewhere.

Take care,

Art

These cities' costs of living are pretty comparable but Montevideo is maybe 10-15% higher overall. Why? My opinion is that it has to do with a greater degree of socialism, and thus higher taxes, in Uruguay. I believe Uruguay has a flat VAT of 21% on everything whereas Argentina has three tiers: 10.5% on basic necessities, 16% on some other stuff, and 21% on luxury/discretionary goods. Uruguay has a long and noble history of taking care of its poor, whereas Argentina has gone back and forth from socialism to capitalism. Uruguay has the highest literacy rate and longest life expectancy of any Latin American country.

Argentina has a more diversified economy. Pricing tends to be more transparent in Uruguay, less hidden bullshit. There is a law (don't know if it applies to the whole country or just MDE) that all restaurants must post menus with prices prominently in the window.

Chica pricing, IME, depends on your experience, language skills, and willingness to negotiate. BA has way, way more hookers and the scene is way more obvious, so that would argue that prices should be lower. However, they don't seem to be.

Rents, especially short-term, are somewhat lower in MDE now. BA is experiencing both a real estate boom and a tourism boom. BA has a superior public transportation system, but driving yourself is more feasible in MDE (less traffic, but watch out for the horses; you cannot legally ride a horse in BA city but they are still common in MDE).

MDE is much quieter and sort of boring, really. Maybe a better place to raise a family but BA is far better for mongering. The women are better looking in BA. Lots of fatties in MDE. Fruits and vegetables are better and cheaper in MDE. The restaurant food has less variety in MDE, really quite unimpressive IMO.

MDE gets the edge for climate as rainfall is more evenly distributed and the temperature cools off at night more so than in BA, during the hottest months. Daytime highs are similar but MDE is (slightly) less humid.

Uruguay as a country is more interesting than MDE as a city. I think half the population of Uruguay lives in MDE and the rest is pretty empty. BA is a major international city and MDE is full of hicks.

Well guys, Punta del Este is not a punting Paradise. I have had a home there for the past five years and only twice did I manage to pick up a local non pro girl. I have been to Nana's and must say the quality is not very good. I have however seen one girl there which I would class as a 8. Another problem is, that unless you identify the girl you want and get a local to go and negotiate with her, you are going to be fleeced. They are under the impression that all Gringos coming to Punta are Millionaires. Because that is Punta. It can be favourably compared with St Tropez, It is very upscale.

My advice is to go to Porto Allegre in Brazil, where the best looking, genuine blonde girls of German decent can be found, and at rock bottom prices, find one an go and have a week in Paradise. Punta! You could do a whole week in the off season including flying to Porto A, pick up a stunner, test drive her before and then take her there for under US$1, 500.

Every Argentinian will sell his mother to be able to say that he vacationed in Punta. Therein lies another answer, get an Argentinian girl and tell her that you are taking her to Punta and you will strike a bargain.

I recently was in BA but now I am on my way to MVD for 15 days. An apartment is the only way to go. I have been traveling to south america for four years. Only two years ago did I discover apartments. For me this is the only way to go. I travel to south america at least one time a month and for the last six trips I have rented apartments. OK I am not trying to promote this web site. I will not get a nickel if you use it but just check it out. AIRBNB. There are probably other web sites like this this is the only I am check it out with. Check it out

Based on recent events in the legislature, I suddenly have an interest in Uruguay. Sadly I can't help but notice that there are not too many recent reports here. I assume that means the punting scene is not great. I think a lot of us would appreciate an up to date report on what is going on. Thanks.

I spent April and May here and just returned a few weeks back from the US. The weather change must have fucked me up. Today (i.e. Christmas day) had the temperature nearing 99 degrees outside. My first day back on 12/10 I stumbled upon a huge pot smokefest on the main centro blvd. for the historic legalization vote. Very few slobbering drunks made the huge gathering a very pleasant and memorable experience.

The next day had me at Baires (Marcelino Sosa 2213) for 30 min of 69ing for 2-300 pesos. Hotrod was at Gitana's (Martin Garcia 1486) which is just around the corner. I saw like 6 doable ladies during one mid-afternoon peak-in, but have yet to partake there also. Hopefully my health improves enough this next week to where I can get out there and at least maintain a solid boner again.

I haven't explorer along coast towards Puna del Este from MVD (Montevideo), but I have tripped around the west side of the country. In Salto, Paysandu, and Mercedes, I've clearly got indication of p4p action there. While I didn't partake then, I personally saw street action in the first two cities. I spoke to one of the street girls in Paysandu and noticed several others walking around looking available. And while in Mercedes, a cabbie told me that it happens in the same manner there as well.

Based on recent events in the legislature, I suddenly have an interest in Uruguay.I saw an interview with the president and he said tourists would not be allowed to purchase anything. It has to be done through a pharmacy where they have your personal information on record. One of the reasons they are doing this is to keep a record of who is buying.

Although what takes places on the streets is a different issue.

I'd like to hear a boots on the ground account. Can a tourist easily purchase and can he partake in the street or hotel?

Smoke Fests are great for the local community but how the locals respond and feel to pot tourism remains to be seen. It's still too early to tell.

Thanks #3436 for the reports.

Thanks #3436 for the reports.I do not smoke, but I am quite certain that the ladies almost always have weed. I monger with a friend who loves to smoke, and he never has a problem getting high with his lady friends.

The new law means that one can not only take advantage of the availability of marijuana, but smoke without the worry that a cop will soon be knocking at the door.

This does not sound near as good as Amsterdam or Colorado. Still Montevideo has its charms. If I am ever in the neighborhood again, Brazil / Argentina way, I will make it a point to stop by and spend a few days with the girls. its been a long time since I was down south. I am into Asian girls.

And rent an apartment for 2 weeks near Recoletta. The food in Argentina is only second to Italy. The beautiful women, also are only second to first of all France then Italy. Its really a tie.

How to you WhatsApp a Uruguay cell number?

WhatsAPp thinks the mobile number is too short for a proper number.

Does texting work? Just put in mobile number? I ask, as I think I texted a number of possibles, but NO answers. Which is unusual.

Thanks.

Unless something has changed very recently, cell phone numbers in Uruguay starts with 09 plus 7 digits.
In case you call from abroad you should add +598 in front and omit the 0.
As far as I know, text and whatsapp works fine.
