This is what happened to me in a sosua disco place.

Me and my friend sat down and ordered some drinks and this girl ,average looking comes and sits with me. Although I did not want this girl I was trying to be friendly and ordered her a drink.

She says she wants to be my girlfriend. I say I am not interested.

She asks Whether she can sit with me, I say ok.

After a while I liked a girl across and asked her to come over and she was very pretty. She agreed to spend the night with me.

Shortly afterwards I went to get us the drinks. When I came back, she told me that the other girl told her that I picked her first and that the new girl should not go with me. So the new girl backed out.

Moral of the story: Do not allow anybody who you do not like, to sit with you or buy her drinks, She can ruin your night.

Hello.

Has anyone stayed at 'Sosua by the Sea' hotel? Are they even remotely chica friendly?

I am headed there on 3/26 for four days.

Thanx for your help.

Sammon,

You're correct. Alot of these girls can be a real pain in the ass. Golden rule, unless you are interested, don't buy them a drink. They think thats there ticket in. And they will be a pest for the rest of the night. A little tip. Go to the bouncer, give him 100 pesos the watch your back and believe me any girls that are pests will be evicted. It may sound a little harsh but remeber these girls aren't girl scouts!

I am bigger than you ******* buddy and I have had some of the chicas tell me that I shouldn't walk around at night alone because the "mafia" might jump me.

I have never had any problems, other than the usual people begging me for money, but everyone should exercise a certain minimum level of awareness of their surroundings.

Peace:

Ostronic,

I'm the one that suggested that you have 100 singles or plenty of fives when going overseas for tips. Yes, the 100-200 singles would be bulky. I did not mention carrying them all at one time. Read closely and I mentioned to keep what is necessary in your pocket and the rest in your hotel safe. The purpose of having the singles and fives is so that if you need to tip quickly and don't have the proper change, a couple of singles or a five will go a long way and never leave the person expecting some cash unhappy.

Try this, whenver somone asks you for something and you don't want to be bothered, just give them a buck or two. Just like you do with the hags that like to bother people in the strip clubs. Give em a buck or two and they will go away. Less hassle, less confusion.

Change your big bills but keep some singles around as play money for tips. Try this and you'll see what I mean. I have used this tecnique on several overseas trips and on cruises. It always works to no fail. Wlaking anywhere, especially overseas at night with a big wad of bills is never safe. Don't be a Herb. Use discretion.

Sammon,

Rule #1) NEVER buy a girl a drink unless you plan on fucking her. If you buy people drinks, they immediately think you have no respect for money and are a fool and they will try to take advantage of you.

The girls down there have little rules they follow. If one girl is coming on to you, the others cannot approach you. Not until you make it clear that you do not want the first one. Then when she is gone, you are fair game for the next one.

If you buy girls drinks and do not fuck them, they will all come and ask you for drinks and when you finally decide to fuck one, she will charge you 5000 pesos because she has seen you spend 500 or 600 pesos just on drinks for girls you didn't even fuck so she thinks you are either filthy rich or just plain old stupid.

Please remove head from culo.

WSJ3,
The word you heard was "mafiaosa" and that is a Dominican term that refers to your basic criminal element in the street ( ex. pickpockets, scammers, petty theives and so forth).

I stayed at Sosua by the Sea. I would assume that you would have to grease the night security guard. Or as they call it, and I'm laughing my ass off at the sound of it. "Watchymon", pronounced: wa chee mon

Isnt it funny?

Bottom line is I didn't even try. I went to other hotels, chicas apartments, and cabanas. Right up the street is Don Andres. Henri will give you a room for $20. I have this "thing" about sleeping where I just porked a *****. I cant do it. Good luck.

I have gone to the D.R. three times. And would like to that in Sosua there are tons of Hatian with knockout African like bodies. They are always the cheapest, 18U.S. and they deliver. This is not to take away from the Dominican girls who are hot and pretty and great. But you guys who dig African looking girls Sosua has them.

Previously I posted an inital report on my trip to Sosua and Santiago, here is the complete update.

First and foremost, I cannot thank my friend Ray enough, for what was the best vacation I have experienced (sorry it took me so long to get there). Luckily for me, you're no herb Ray! Thanks to John for his hospitality at the Sosua Palace, it was a perfect retreat. If the jaccuzzi was working with hot water, that would have been a huge bonus (with Jessica, lol). Even so, I cant complain one bit! Those of you worrying about Sosua being a safe destination, as long as you are smart and not flaunting a lot of jewelry or sporting a Rolex, you should be fine night and day. Although I'm no expert based on my first trip, here are some simple facts that might help you along with your trip. A good portion of this is based on previous experience of others, but it was worthy advice put to good use.

Arriving at the airport… chances are, they’ll try to shake you down for a few dollars. Bring a US $5.00 bill or two with you and you’ll be set. When you take your bags through customs, just as the guy was about to search my bags he mentioned that they could easily pass for $5.00 so I was ok with it just to move on through, no sense in having someone ruffle through my things. Not that I had anything to hide. Do yourself a favor, grab your own bags from the customs table and carry them out yourself otherwise you’ll have a local looking for a handout. Jesus picked us up from the airport, holding a Sosua Palace sign out in front. $15 a carload is the going rate with was fine with me, especially split among 3 guys.

Exchanging money: Super Super Liquors, just a few blocks past Europa on the corner. Good rates and the gentlemen speaks English. On Wednesday the exchange was 48:1 and on Friday it was 42:1 Note: You're better off exchanging money during the week as the rates tend to go down on the weekend.

Eating on a daily basis: Mora Mai, the Lobster Fra Diavlo is amazing and Alex (owner's wife) is a beautiful host. Simply said, I wouldnt eat anywhere else! I'd rather spend my time enjoying my vacation than possibly getting sick eating something that wasnt prepared adequately. Although a few of the boys from Jersey on the second floor enjoyed the chicken from the stand on the corner of the block.

Bottled water: Don’t drink the tap water or you’ll spend your vacation in the bathroom! When you exchange money, do yourself a favor and buy several bottles for your refridgerator.

Sosua Beach: Just a bit past "The Lost Gringo Bar" you'll find "Lobo" (a local) renting chairs, tables, umbrellas and more. Take care of him and he'll take care of you! If you go into the water, he'll look over your stuff as well so you dont have to worry about it.

Needs at the Palace: You can purchase cold "Presidentes" right at the Palace for $1.00 US each, delivered right to your refrigerator. You'll find two locals, who will get you just about anything you need… from food to liquor. Take care of them and they'll do anything for you, they can be trusted as well. Otherwise you wouldnt find them around the Palace.

Traveling on a motoconch in Sosua: 20 pesos, no more!

Day 1, Wednesday

Considering the way my trip started with freezing cold and snow Wednesday 7am in the morning, my first day was an eye-opening experience. After landing and going through customs as mentioned above, the brief 15-20 minute ride from the airport to Sosua Palace was something in itself. If you’re a decent guy, you’ll quickly be humbled by the scenary. I was immediately greeted by a friend at the hotel who had been in town a few days ahead of me. Later in the day, I learned this would work to my advantage. Moments after walking in, I was drinking a nice cold Presidente, meeting John, unpacking and sitting poolside. My first chica experience left a lot to be desired, but I was a virgin to this scene so it could only get better... and trust me, it got a lot better! My friend Ray mentioned that he set-up dinner with two local girls he had met the day before at one of the bars. Sounds like a plan to me. Just as I was about to get in the shower before dinner, I met Mercedes at the hotel bar. Why shower alone when you can have a chica wash your back among other things. So I’m off to a roaring start, taking in the experience and maybe a few too many Presidentes. Ray set-up a taxi for us at 8:30 and the girls were waiting outside the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised, Lilly was a beautiful 26-year old girl who spoke very good English… I couldnt have asked for a better introduction to the Dominican Republic, again thanks to Ray. Soon enough I found myself on the beach in Cabarete eating camarones (shrimp) and enjoying a bottle of wine, at least trying to enjoy the wine (that’s another story in itself). After dinner we headed back to Sosua and stopped at Voodoo Lounge for some drinks with the girls. We had a great time sitting outside having some laughs and getting to know each other a little better. Late that night we returned to the Palace, I took my girl to the room and off Ray went with his girl. Lilly was “tired” (sueno) so she suggested we get to the bedroom, who am I to say no? Once in the bedroom, she quickly undressed exposing a solid body. You’ll find her in a photo later on, although her photo does not do her justice at all. I give her a solid 8 of 10, great little body and a 9 in the bedroom… this girl had skills! We went at it a few times and fell asleep together, in the morning we continued where we left off. The best part about the experience was, not only did she treat me to perfection, she didn’t ask for any money at all. I suppose dinner and the way I treated her in return was enough.

Day 2, Thursday

After having breakfast and meeting up with an awesome Dominican friend at Mora Mai, Ray and I went to the beach in Sosua. I have seen a number of people complain about the locals and the condition of the beach, but it was a pleasant experience for me. Lobo took care of our things while we were in the water and brought us drinks as needed. Soon enough I’m laying out and I look about 10 feet to the right and there is this hot blond little European with great tits going topless next to me. What a place, my vacation was getting better by the moment! Around 5pm we headed back to the hotel and then went to M+M for a massage, about 30 minutes or so for 400 pesos ($8 US, $10 with a tip). I took some time to have drinks with some of the guys at the hotel, relaxing by the pool thinking about my night. We went back to Mora Mai for dinner, get the lobster fra diavlo! After dinner, I stopped back at the hotel to change my shirt before heading to the High Caribe Discotheque. Ray mentioned that I’d feel like a piece of meat in there, with girls constantly grabbing you and approaching you (FINALLY A PLACE ON EARTH WHERE THE ROLES ARE REVERSED AND THE GIRLS WANT YOU). After taking a lap around the club, Ray ran into Carolina... a hot little chica he met there on Sunday night. I don’t want to steal his thunder so I’ll let him post his thoughts on her, but her little body was something else!!! She was the crown jewel on this night, no doubt. I took several laps around the club, but couldn’t find anything exceptional that I liked. After joking with Carolina, I found a local with a beautiful round ass on her. Not long after her and I were off to the Palace on a motoconch (20 pesos). Her skills were ok at best, she didn’t speak much English and I was still brushing up on the language so I hit it and sent her home. Disappointed but determined, I took a shower and headed back to the club. Another 50 pesos to get in but what the hell do I care, it’s a dollar. It was late now and if I knew if I seem something I liked, I had better move fast. I grabbed a few more Presidentes and noticed a chica that I had seen dancing when I was in the club earlier in the night. A simple smile and an “hola” goes a long way in the Dominican Republic! We ended up dancing for a few songs and I suggested we get outta the club before it closed. Just as I’m about to move off the dancefloor, another chica approaches us and asks if she could join us for the night. Again, who the hell am I to say no? It would be a happy hour and then some! We stepped outside for a motoconch, the same driver approached me that drove me there and insisted that all four of us get on for the ride. Now you have to picture this ‘cuz I wish I had a camera for this… I’m 6’4 and lets say, I’m not afraid of opposing Warren Sapp. So the driver sits forward on the tank, one of the girls jump on behind him and then I get on. The second girl then jumps in between us, straddling me for the ride… what a scene, the locals were pointing like look at this crazy mofo. Somehow we got to the hotel without incident. Once inside my room, I turned on the IPod and the three of us were off to the bedroom. I asked the girls to kiss and they were happy to demonstrate anything I asked, what a country! In doing both of the girls, one insisted I don’t use a condom and have a baby with her. I was like no way, that’s not happening and when she mentioned it again, the other girl told her to shut her mouth in Spanish. A little catfight in my bed, how nice. After satisfying both girls, we passed out for maybe an hour or so and then continued in the morning. Actually it was probably about 8am as it was. So I showered, caught ESPN (channel 36) and I went out to the hotel bar with a Presidente to share some thoughts on my experience so far.

Day 3, Friday
Ray and I were supposed to go to Santiago with a local Dominican friend, but we stayed in town to wait for another friend to come in from Jersey who had never been to the DR before. After Ray took care of me the first night, I felt obligated to stick around and introduce Estabon to Sosua and the Palace. He took a room at the Europa, as the Palace was booked solid for the night. While waiting for him to come in, I took some free time to go for the manicure treatment from a local who did the job from head to toe for 1000 pesos, well worth it. After treating myself, a few new chicas came in to the Palace so I decided to give “Happy Hour” another shot… Soranji gives award-winning head, good stuff although she thought that with a friend she could make quick work of it but little did she know, she was in for some hard work. One girl on your stick and another on your boys is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Finally Estabon arrived and I met up with him near the Europa, he was already taking in the experience so I brought him over and introduced him to a few of the girls. He took one of them back to the Europa with him. I took some time to relax before showering for dinner. Just as I was about to get into the shower, I wanted to get in a quickie with this cute little chica. I carried her around my waist, slammed that little body and then had her shower me down. Ray, Estabon and I met for dinner at Mora Mai where the lobster fra diavlo was the perfect choice again. Around 11pm, we went to El Boem to treat ourselves to the experience, I'm glad we went. We took a taxi van from the Palace in Sosua ($30 US for the whole night, he waited outside the club for us and would take us wherever we wanted, $10 US each, cant beat that). Once inside, there were more than enough sexy girls to go around. Immediately my boy Estabon, hooks up with this fine dark skinned chica and seems to be completely content with her as she is all over him, bouncing on his lap, etc. He said, “I think she likes me!” Ray didnt waste too much time either, he grabbed a chica and the guys were set. I, on the other hand was in no rush. I was lookin for something special. After a few minutes, this beautiful Dominican chica caught my eye but she was sitting on another guys lap. Not a problem, I started smiling at her and on my way to the bathroom, I told her in Spanish that I wanted her. On my way back from the bathroom, she told me to give her a few minutes.

A few minutes later she came over and sat with me. Well worth the wait!!!!! Jessica was one of the sexiest women I had seen in the DR, she was wild and her ass (in those amazing white pants) would stop traffic in any city in the world!!! Words cannot describe that ass, I'd give her a solid 9 of 10. We enjoyed several drinks, the more Jessica had, the crazier she got which for me was perfect! I'm a young 30 year old guy who still spends some nights in New York's nightclubs after hours from time to time, so Jessica was everything I wanted and more. As an added bonus, she also spoke English very good (and Italian too). Ray was quickly becoming unhappy with his cute but boring chica sitting there with her arms folded. He mentioned it to me and I told Jessica, who asked if I'd mind if she told the girl that she is no longer needed. She said a few words to Ray's girl and off she went. Jessica quickly helped Ray find a replacement that “appeared” to be exactly what he was looking for. Soon enough we handled the financials, I think it was 3500 pesos ($72 US at the rate of 48:1 that I got). Some of you may think thats a lot and by DR standards, sure is but there was no way in hell I was letting Jessica go anywhere because I knew she was wild and she'd be a treat!!! And guys come on, $72 may be a lot of money to those girls but try and find a similar match here in the states for less than $300-500. Anyways, I'm not here to justify my actions, just the facts. The girls went to change and off we went in the taxi. After dropping off Estabon and his girl at the Europa, Ray and I made our way to the Palace with our girls. After some more drinks, Jessica and I went off to the bedroom where she more than lived up to and exceeded my expectations. Sorry guys NO PHOTOS, the battery on Ray's camera died (horrible timing). Believe me I wanted several photos of this girl but I was thinking about that ass... spanking it, not worrying about taking photos of it. After a few go rounds with Jessica who was a 10+ in the bedroom, wild as I could ever have hoped for, Ray knocks at my door and needs to get into the lock box. I'm thinking why in the hell would you need to get in there now? Especially now, I wanted to kill him and I think I still do. Apparently his girl wasnt into him, she said he couldnt cum but his dick was too big for her so she couldnt get into it and kept asking him to stop. That’s weak from a pro! After having paid and gone through the motions I could understand why he was so mad but he killed it for me too when he yelled at Jessica, "YOUR FRIEND SHOULDN’T BE IN THE FUCK BUSINESS!" Soon enough Jessica was getting dressed to leave with her friend, I did EVERYTHING I could to get her to stay. Well everything besides cutting Ray's head off, I even offered to fuck both her and her friend to make up for Ray's attitude, what a guy, hahaaa. In Spanish, the other girl asked Jessica if I was any good and Jessica replied in both Spanish & English that I was good, "Papi chulo is muy perfecto!" I tried my best to do both of them but the other girl was upset and wanted to go. Jessica knew I was heading to Santiago on Saturday, she offered to give me her number to come by her place during the afternoon to finish what we started but I wasnt going to do that. There are more than enough beautiful light skinned chicas in Santiago to go around and around the world several times over! The girls had the nerve to ask me for $10 for a taxi but Jessica was leaving a lot earlier than expected so I wasnt giving it up. Had she stayed as planned and fucked well into the morning sun, I would have given it to her and then some. I’ll remember that ass forever! Even though I treat the girls pretty good, I guess you can say I’m a dog ‘cuz I couldn’t get enough. I had showered with Jessica so I was ready to go again, practically running down the street with one shoe on and my shirt in hand, I was off to find Ray. I walked towards the Latino Disco but there was nothing good inside after 4am. I took a motoconch to High Caribe but it was closed, so I headed back to see if I could find something worthy at one of the bars but nothing doing. Ray had disappeared, not a problem when I ran into our local Dominican friend who drove me around to find Ray. Nothing like blasting a little Yoskar Sorante – Por Una Mentira, out of the Honda at 5am. That was an experience in itself, local music blasting from his car like I was a kid again cruising the streets. A little late night snack at PJ’s and off to the Palace for bed. Seven girls in a little over 24 hours, no bullshit and one hell of a night or two.

Day 4, Saturday
Our local Dominican friend came to the Palace around noon to pick up Ray and I for the ride to Santiago. We packed up, said goodbye to the guys and thanked John for his hospitality. Off we went, driving through the countryside to Santiago. The scenary is not to be missed, if you can find a guide to take you to Santiago I highly recommend it! On our way, we stopped roadside at a fish fry on the outskirts of town. I’m not sure what was better, the quality of the local girls eating with their families or the food itself! An absolutely beautiful chica came in with her family, what a beautiful girl. If I remember right, the fish fry was just past the gokart track on the right side of the road in an orange red building, stop in if you want to take in the local flavor. A great meal, a dozen shrimp for each of us along with shrimp and rice, drinks and I think the bill was about $25 US… I could eat there everyday if it was closer to town. On the road again, we approached the city of Santiago. We stopped at our friend’s house so we could meet his family and he could shower, you just cant experience the life of a local without knowing one. What a great guy with a nice family, his house was easily the nicest on the block. Again we’re off, through the local streets of Santiago you’ll see more than enough beautiful local women walking the streets. What an incredible view of the city from a top the monument (more on that later). We made our way down to a local car wash, wish I had the name of this legendary place. I have a whole new understanding of the term "car wash!" If I ever lived in Santiago, I'd have the cleanest car in the country. At the car wash you can get some drinks at the bar, plenty of local music blasting with a lot of beautiful chicas roaming around, oh yea they do a great job washing your car too. We caught a nice buzz sitting at the car wash, setting up some chicas for later in the evening. We left to get ourselves a nice “cabana” for the night. Again the Dominican Republic brings new meaning to this word as well. I think the name of the place was Exist or Exile, something like that but its pretty much a garage attached a nice hotel room on private grounds. You pull your car in and close the door, no one can see who you’re bringing into your room (which must make it easy for locals to cheat on their wives). What a country, “Baby I’m going to the car wash, I’ll be back.” The room at the cabana was very nice, music playing on speakers well placed throughout the room, satellite tv, condoms on the night table and a jacuzzi on a mirrored landing. With the help our local friend, he set-up two adjoining cabanas for Ray and I for 1000 pesos each ($25 US, cant beat that). Our friend picked us up for dinner at a steakhouse in the city where the meat is imported from the US, what an awesome meal. You will not find nearly as many Americans in Santiago as you will in Sosua, so this restaurant was a gem and some of the local women inside were stunning! By the time we got through dinner, we were running late past midnight when we were scheduled to return to the car wash to pick up our chicas for the evening. Unfortunately we got there too late. It was raining on and off which was disappointing because we were going to go back to the monument where apparently each weekend, the locals make a party where you’ll find street vendors selling just about anything you can imagine, people dancing drinking and listening to music in the streets. Damn rain! Next time I return to the DR, I have to experience this local event. So we decided to go to Illusions where we ran into a former Palace cutie, Nilsa. The girl has grown up, she looks great. I was scouting some talent for the night and I later learned to trust me instinct. Don’t always go for the best looking girl, go for the one that looks like she’ll be a great fuck. I choose to go with a cutie, soon enough we were off to the cabana. Once inside, the lil body on Marlena was second to none but her attitude sucked… don’t touch this, don’t touch that. Being my last night I wasn’t in the mood to play game, so I got off and headed to the Jacuzzi. She was hungry, so I was like whatever, call for something to eat. About 30 minutes later, the doorbell rings and the spin around delivery service waiter door thing is full of food, another go round and its full of drinks along with the bill. Dropped money in the turn around and my change was sent back. 100 pesos for a tip and we’re all set. She eats and I want to fuck her around or at least try to before I pass out. Sueno sueno sueno, she was starting to get on my nerves. Its too cold in here, shut up already. I’m down with keeping the girl happy if she is going out of her way to reciprocate but no way in hell this little muerta pesca puta was going to get her way with me. I tossed her, “vas puta!” She got dressed and off she went, the cabana front desk stopped her and called me to make sure “mi amiga” didn’t rob me. Now that’s service!

Day 5, Sunday
Our local Dominican friend came by around 10:30am to pick us up for the airport. We stopped at the car wash to make good with the chicas we made plans with the previous night. So the next time he stops in, he wont have to walk in with his head down because we didn’t make it back to pick them up last night before it closed. I banged out a couple of Presidentes, we enjoyed some more laughs and my local Dominican friend gives me a copy of the infamous CD as a souvenier. Haha, good stuff. He tried to convince us to stay another night and I almost did, but it was good to head home. We passed our friend 1000 pesos each, for his services and his hospitality. Money well spent, we’d never have gotten to experience the local culture without him around. Nonetheless the taxi from Sosua to Santiago would have cost at least that much. And if it would help this guy out and his family, that’s good enough for me. He is fun to be around, a lot of laughs... dirty dog! He knows the treasures within the DR. I really didn’t want to go home, this was Disney World for me… beautiful round ass everywhere you looked.

In closing I'll say that besides the obvious (chicas), the entire experience of the culture and the appreciation for how good we have it here in the states is something never to be forgotten. When you get up in the morning and get into the shower, watch tv, order food for dinner and sit in your heated home with all you have, appreciate that a number of these amenities do not exist for a great deal of the locals in the Dominican Republic... and thats reason enough for me to share some of my American money with them as long as I'm treated with respect and appreciation, not being taken advantage of. Ok I'll stop now, although I could go on forever!!!

PS: Not sure if all of you guys come across this board, but a big hello to the boys from Jersey who were at the Palace... all the guys on the second floor, I still envy the hell out of you for that girl you pulled out of the Latino Disco at 5am. Send the number over! Haha.

Cell Phones

I read in an earlier post that (some of) the chicas have cell phones. Yes, I know it's a small town and the chicas are ubiquitous, but I was wondering if it might be an option for setting things up for a next-night date? Truth or fiction? Any advice is most welcome.

Thanks a billion in advance. 5 days and counting.

First report - Day 1 (March 27)

Took Northwest into POP arrived in a bit of rain. We needed to take a few circles around to wait for the weather to clear. Arrived and got my baggage with no problems. No problems with customs either. Just the pesky porters trying to grab my bags. Even though I went by the porter, I got taken for a small tip by a guy who I thought was a cab driver, but was just the guy that takes you to them. $15 USD was the standard listed rate to Sosua.

I had some trouble finding an ATM that worked. Finally went to Popular Bank and had no troubles. I had a nice pizza dinner and a delicious Presidente beer. THe bad news is that it is raining like crazy! There will be no mongering for me tonight. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow. I hope to have a little fun in the morning and evening!!!

Please stop the rain!

A couple of more questions.

What is the dress code in the clubs in Puerto Plata and Sosua at night? I do not want to pack clothes that I may not need to wear. eg: dress shoes, or dress shirts.

How much is scuba gear and snorkling gear to rent? How much is a diving lesson with a certifed instructor?

Also upon arrival , is your baggage searched?

Ostronic!

Ubiquitous, that's an awfully big word for a... :)

It seems to me that most of the girls with cell phones are hardcore though not all. It does make it easier to contact themif you have their number.

If my experience is anything to go by there are so many chicas out and available you won't care about a phone.

Cell phones.

Alot of women in DR, especially the ones that live in small towns have cell phones.
Reasons:

1. No monthly bill, they get a card for 150,200,250 or 500 pesos.

2. Its pretty hard to convince the phone co. that you can pay for a home phone, when you can barely put food in your mouth, and you dont have hot water. The utilities in DR are atrocious. Cells are easier to have and more convenient. Incoming calls dont take away their minutes.

3. I doubt very much if you see a girl w/ a cell phone that she is hardcore. The majority of the women in DR that work have legitimate sources of income.

Gracias Gpiper,

I have always had a love for Latinas, long before my first experience in the DR. So this was a little kid in a candy store, a respectable kid though. As much as I love the women, I enjoy the culture. Their simple way of life is a treasure. I cannot even begin to tell you how well my first night went, what a beginning to an amazing trip that would have been even better had it not rained that night in Santiago. It ended on a sour note, with a muerta pesca puta, but it was not enough to bring me down. The thing I am really looking forward to most is, mingling among locals where there is not a lot of tourists around and meet some of the most beautiful women in local restaurants and bars. I'm told the party at the monument is even better than the car wash, and that was a great time so this weekend fiesta they have must be an incredible time because you can really talk to almost any girl there by simply smiling and saying hello. And the amount of beautiful round ass I seen there was something to see. Does it sound like I had a good time there? Hahaaa!

Memorial Day Weekend.

Hey MJG Dogs, with no disrespect to ******* (I know you asked him this question) after 5 trips to the north coast the most recent that ended 3 weeks ago. I think I'm qualified to volunteer my 2 cents.

Leave the dressy clothes at home! Anything you need to wear on the north coast can be purchased at The Gap or Old Navy. The hottest girl I picked up in Sosua was one night at the High Caribe Disco and I was wearing a NJ Devils 1999-2000 Cup Champs T-shirt, a pair of Gap khaki shorts and a pair of Teva sandals. The girl was medium-skinned, killer body a solid 9.0!

Took, mas o menos the same outfit to Crystals in Puerto Plata with Gordo from the Palace the next night and did equally as well! ;)

Always dress nicely. Dominicans associate a poorly dressed man with having a lower IQ and visa versa. As a result, dressing to impress will get you free or close to free pussy. Dressing like you shopped at old navy will get you 1000 peso putas. Some guys will never get it.

Great observation SosuaDoctor. Regardless of how poor a great number of people are in the Dominican, there is still a sense of pride. When you go out at night, if you're dressing in the same wrinkled shirt and shorts you've had on all day long, dont expect to land the best selection. Not to say that it hasnt happened before, but I dressed well (nothing crazy, but a nice shirt always) and I met some beautiful women there. A few that didnt even ask for any money in the morning, so I guess there is something to it. You wouldnt go out trying to get some ass here in America in sloppy clothes, so I wouldnt recommend doing it there either.

Again some people get it, some dont and never will.

Ford,

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like jeans and a shirt with a collar are good enough for the clubs. I also think the Sosua Doctor has a valid point, as long as your are neat, and not a slob, the chicas will think you have mucho dinero., which can work to your advantage or your disadvantage. It depends how you play them.

Through my experiences in Costa Rica, you must always call the shots. Always negotiate the deal before you leave with them, Do Not buy them drinks before hand, unless you are interested. I learn this through experience in Costa Rica. Do not flash money around them either. You do not know how many times I saw guys at The Del Rey and the Key Largo in CR do this and end up paying way too much money.

Remember you are renting a commodity for an evening, not marrying them.

Jimmy;

A couple of more questions.

What is the dress code in the clubs in Puerto Plata and Sosua at night? I do not want to pack clothes that I may not need to wear. eg: dress shoes, or dress shirts. I see it was answered by a few experienced mongers. Sosua Doctor has years under his belt, he was on the old board, Ford has experience and so does Piper.
You can't go wrong getting advice from the 4 of us.

How much is scuba gear and snorkling gear to rent? How much is a diving lesson with a certifed instructor? They have a shop in Sosua and another in Caberete.

Also upon arrival , is your baggage searched? Not usually, maybe once in 15 trips, if that many.

I thought the question asked by MJG Dogs had more to do with what clothes a person NEEDS to bring with him and I answered that anything you NEED can be purchased at The Gap or Old Navy.

I however have a great deal of respect for the Dominican people and I agree that if you dress stylishly (ie. collared silk shirt, dress pants) you will in most instances attract more attention from the ladies and be generally regarded as a "classy" American. Domincanos do generally dress-to-impress when they spend an evening out at the clubs. All true.

I carry 1 pair of nice pants and 2 nice shirts. I get dressed up maybe 1-2 times during my vacation. I am not there to impress anyone really. The meer fact that I am there 6 times a year gives them, the locals the idea that I am not poor. Some think I am very rich as a matter of fact. LOL!!!

The girls you are looking for are pros, semi pros or non pros. Still you have to look presentable in the evening.Agreed you are on vacation but believe me in decent clothes you generally look good so the chances of attracting many girls are greater. You dont have to dress up in suit and tie.

Just look at if the tables are turned. Would you like a girl in tattered dress or a nice looking dress. I rest my case.

Gentlemen;

All very good replys. Thanks again. Sosua Doctor everyone learns with experience. Everyone has been played by a chica at least once. We learn and do not make the same mistake twice.

One thing, If you overdress then you will be a target for the putas raising the price. You would be surprised from what you learn just by talking to the chicas, like I learned in CR. Also do not carry any big bills at all. Not smart. No Rolex watches... etc....

To any more newbies, some other things to consider.

1. Be polite, yet firm if you want a puta to leave you alone.

2. Never pay propinas (tips) unless the puta is fantastic.

3. Kick her ass out the moment you start having any trouble.

This can be applied anywhere around the world.

Day 2 (evening), 3, and 4 (morning) report March 28, 29, and 30, 2004

Things were slow at first and I was having no luck finding a cute chica. When I finally did, she wsa working at a massage place. We started negotiating, but for some reason I got stupid and agreed to more than the regualr price. Please no flames, I learned from this mistake. I thought that it would be worth a little more since she was hot. It turns out that she was not all that good at all. I can`t even remember her name. We went at it for almost a full hour before I shot my load. She kept moving the wrong ways and the head was horrible. She wouldn`t keep a steady rythm. Not even worth a report. But it was raining and she was cute and I was horny and stupid. I will get the name of the place before I leave.

Day 3 Now that the sun is out, I am having a blast. Whoever said that when you first arrive, you are really let down, but it gets better was 100% correct. My first 2 days was hell because it was raining non stop.

Anyway since it was sunny I made it down to the beach near Casa Marina hotel (which is expensive and probably doesn`t allow chicas, but is very nice!) At this beach, there were tons of women of all ages and sizes going topless! As an American from the Midwest, I was in tit heaven! I even snapped a few pics... sorry, I am a pervert like that! If you show I`m gonna look and maybe take a pic and then look some more! Of course, I hung out at the beach the first sunny day.

Later in that afternoon, I got a regular massge from Family massage across the street from Sosua By the Sea hotel. The girl looked a little like Reggie Miller`s (the Pacers basketball player) sister, but cuter. My dick was sore from the 1 hour condom rubbing the previous night, so I didn`t even try to ask for sex. Plus the window was open and the blinds kept flapping open. It was fun getting a massage in the nude. She kept staring at my cock, which kept growning and growin each time she rubbed near it. It was fun and for 350 DRP ($7 US) how can you go wrong.

3rd day! Now I was still feeling a bit sore from the time at the beach and I liked the earlier massage, so I decided to go for another nice regular massage. My dick felt better, but I really just wanted a regular massage. A very cute chical named Cati or Katy or something like that took me into the small room. There were several women getting or waiting to get haircuts just a few feet away on the other side of the wall so I was certain nothing would happen. By the way, the massage price was 300 DR ($6 US). I got nude and she smiled and watched me get on the bed. She gave an excellent massage to my back, legs, and feet. While she was massaging my legs, she let my foot go between her legs. At first I thought it was an accident, but she kept doing it, so I let my toes explore a little. She then asked me to flip over. Of course I was about as hard as possible. She smiled again and massaged my chest and stomach for a few minutes. I was throbbing at this point. She made a motion with hre hand and mouth. I said yes!!! It was a wonderful BBBJ with CIM! I was about as happy as I could be. It was hard to not moan loud! After I came, she smiled and cleaned up and finished the massage, which continued to be great. She never asked for one penny more, but of course I gave her a good tip. I will go back tomorrow. I will tell you where she works after I leave. The massage here was much better than at Family massage too!

So, I am going to the beach again to enjoy some more sun, surf, and tits!

Sosua is the place to go!

More to come,

I received a mail from one of the forum members what I really wanted to say when I told in an earlier post that the first impression is a big disappointment.

My answer to this member is maybe interesting to others as well. SO here is the un-edited long-and-uncut version:

>>

Thanks for reading my mail. The disappointment I had was right on the arrival. After beeing locked up in an airplane for 10 hours my mood was not very good for a start (I really hate flying). And when we arrived at the airport it was raining. Not a bit rain but a tropical shower. SO far for the good weather the travel agency promised.

At the airport it was hot, wet and high humidity. And I was immediately attacked by these gentlemen who want to carry your luggage for dollars. Hate that too !

A little Van was taking us to our appartment. And this is where the dissapointment really starts. Yes its a third world country ! Because it was evening I could not see much but what I could see was poverty, bad roads with big holes, old cars, and people everywhere I normally would not like to meet at dark. You really wonder where you will spend your days because this dark, poor unsafe unfriendly world looks like everything exept the things they promised you at the travel agency.

When arriving at the appartment the owner advised us to go have a drink in the city center. NO WAY ! I had visions of beiing lost in a dark part of hell, and beiing hunted and robbed by merciless criminals. So we drunk a lonely beer in our appartment.

The same night (we could not close our door because the lock was broken) someone sneeked in in our appartment and stole my friends wallet. You understand ... I just would that I had booked a trip to the canary islands or another sunny but boring place.

The next day was cloudy, wet and grey. We found out our appartment was in a road with long time desolated houses and filled with noise and smoke of these motoconcho's . My conclusion was that the airplane must have dropped us by accident at a junkyard.

But things can change !

A few hours later the clouds disappeared and the sun was shining. We went for the center and had a few beers (the presidente is really nice !). And with a little sunshine things look so much better!

We went to the beach and I must say it is not very good at all. The beach is a small strip of yellow sand, packed up with people and no way of getting any rest because of the fruit/fish/souvenirs salespeople that will bother you any time. Also the strip with stalls was just like it was build on a junkyard (yes, also the famous new york shark bar is not very much at all). No white sand, no large beach with palmtrees as far as the eye reaches but small crappy shops that look like the first storm will blow it away.

But things can change !

Remember we did not go to this place for the food or the beaches. We were attracted by some beautiful girls to sit at their shop and have a few drinks. And to keep the story short... within one hour I was sitting with one of them on the back of the motoconcho on our way to the Calypso (short stay) hotel.

I must have paid way too much and did everything the guys on the forum tell you not to do, but it was a good start anyway!

And everyday you start do discover new things. New bars, new places to eat, and girls, money changers, shop owners and mongers start to recognise you on the street. yes its one big happy family!

After a few days you find out it is safe on the streets, you get to know the game the girls play (yes read my A-B-C carefully!) and the beach is not so bad after all.

Only one problem, two eyes is not enough. Girls are everywhere. Go visit a surgeon to have two pairs of eyes extra.

And use your extra eyes them on the beach because everything you see is for sale !!

Go and have a happy vacation. You will enjoy it I promise you !

(But read the wsg forum and write down the interesting names, places and advises. And use the notepad as I recommended when negotiating with the girls)

I will be back next january ... only 9 months to go :-(

Mr. Black (and regards from Mr. Adder)

Day 4 evening (March 30)

I already reported on my massage fun in the morning, but later that night I went for a walk to the other beach to find the word famous Shark Bar! I met Lou and Billy the owners. They are both very cool and inviting. Lou is a retired NYPD cop and Billy is retired US military. Lou got me a Budweiser (remember that is an import here, so it is twice as much as a local beer) and some free chips and salsa, which were great. They asked where I heard aout them and I said WSG. They said "oh that is *******!" They asked I if heard aout the Yahoo group Insearchofchicas, which of course I have and am a member! They didn't seem to know much about the WSG except to say that I wasn't the first to mention it. Bottom line is that Shark Bar is not big or flashy, but it is nice to hang out with some cool Americans and hear English being spoken! I will return to Shark Bar!

I would have stayed longer at Shark Bar, but the power went out. I the walked up to PJ's Steakhouse and ordered a hamurger and fries. The fries were great, but the hamurger was horrile. Don't get the hamurger! I thought I was going to be sick.

Later that night, I was walking near the steakhouse around several bars near there. I was approached by two girls and they asked me if I wanted a happy hour. One was older, looked Asian, and spoke English, but looked like crap. The other one was younger, not too and, and looked like she was from Haiti. I wasn't really interested, but was curious. They started at 3000 DRP and I worked them down to 500. This seemed too easy and I had a bad feeling. There is one thing that I know and that is to trust my instincts. For some reason I had a bad feeling and was looking to leave when another American came by. He was on the same flight down as I was. We started talking and the girls walked off after he told them something in Spanish.

Within aout 20 feet of that place, we saw a very hot, tall, thin looking chica. Easily an 8 or 9 in my book. Would have been a 10 if had bigger tits. Since my American friend speaks spanish, he got her down from 2,500 to 1,500 which was great for me considering how hot she was and she had a place close. We went there are went at it for a long time in her room. She kept saying she was getting tired because it was taking me so long because of the condom. Finally, I got mine and she seemed a little upset it took so long. I gave her an extra 100 for her trouble and told her that was all I had. The bad news is that I forgot my watch in her room and it was gone when I returned 10 minutes later.

More to come from Day 4!

Day 4 evening (March 30) - Part 2

I forgot to tell you that the name of the tall chica from the previous post is named Nelly.

After my fun with the tall hottie, I walked by a little bar and was pulled in my three fine hotties. One was older (Francisca) and spoke English so she took charge. We danced and had a good time. I bought her a couple of drinks and I drank a Coke. She told me I could take her to Europa (right down the street) where she has a room for 2,000 DRP, but I would have to wait until 2:30 am!

I went back to my room wanting to get to bed, but the little head got crazy thinking aout all of the cheap chicas! So, at 2:30 I went back to try to talk her down. I think she is the manager of the bar because she was deep in paperwork and I kept on walking. I was going back to my hotel when I met Nikki a hot very dark skinned Hatian girl. I was getting tired and she asked for 3,000 DRP! Even though she was hot I thought I would be too tired and was NOT paying 3,000. I gues when you aren't desperate you can negotiate more clearly. I told her that all I had was 1,500 and I didn't like BJ with a condom. She kept saying 2,000 a few times and I said sorry I don't have that. I turned to walk and she said OK. We went to her apartment (very small!) and went at it for a long time. BBBJ, then sex (with a condom) for a long time, and finish BBBJ CIM (no swallow). She could twist her legs all the way back so I could get in really deep. Sweet very sweet! She cleaned me up and aske if I would return. I said maybe, but I like new chicas.

I am sorry that I am not good about giving street names. I think the girls would be different when you come anyway. My reports are just to let you know what you can expect and I think it would be like this all over. My big tip is learn some Spanish. I don't speak much at all and I am finding that is limiting my options and negotiations.

Now I am off for another massage and a nice BBBJ!

Life is good in Sosua, DR!

I will try to post a full report later. I am in Sosua and did one week in Boca Chica. Much better here for most things but the beach at Boca is better and the possibility of landing a regular shop girl etc. At least that was my experience. However BC had a harder edge and feel to it and the chicas are a bit more expensive in Sosua, barely noticeable though. They are all very mercenary and I am not used to this as I am used to Thailand. However, the black and spanish body cannot be beat but that is one of the few things this place has over Thailand. Let me not forget the plane ride is much much shorter and the beaches here are better. Both have pros and cons.

Who is dressing up for hookers? Jeez.

I got caught once or twice on over requested payment but managed to get to the high end of the going rate. I hold my ground here but again in Thailand you don't really have to as the girls are not that mercenary. Still practicing on that. The whole damn island has sick children. haha. They really try to strike at your nerve but you have to be a HARDLINER here to really make it work.

I know I am always telling guys to dress well when they visit the DR and I want to clarify what I mean because I think I confuse some people with my posts. I do not mean you should be wearing a tux or a three piece suit. However, long pants are a must and jeans (new, neat jeans) are absolutely fine. One thing that most of you do not know is that the wearing of shorts used to be associated with homosexuality in the DR. Of course, there are exceptions like going to the beach. When you are there, look around at all the Dominican men and tell me how many are wearing shorts. You probably wont see any, unless they are at the beach. When Dominicans see us wearing shorts, they think we look stupid and as a result, they treat us as if we are stupid. A puta sees you with shorts on, she thinks you aren't the sharpest pencil in the box and tries to overcharge you. Put a pair of nice jeans and a nice shirt and some loafers on and the same girl will treat you like a different person. Generally, in Sosua, I wear new jeans, nice suade or leather loafers and a shirt with a collar. Nothing extravagent but neat and classy clothes. Shorts, tank tops, sneakers and baseball caps are a mistake.

Nefarious, sounds like you are having a good time. Is the place you got the massage in next to Eddy's Sports Bar by any chance? Feel free to pm me if you have any questions. I am sorry I did not respond to your pm before you left but I was extremely busy.

I enjoyed your report dated 03/30! You are correct, many times peoples first impression of Sosua & Puerto Plata is a kind of "Oh boy, what did I get myself into this time?" impression - but once you get yourself "situated" and adjusted the town grows on you.

Once visitors get comfortable they become return travelers again and again.

Day 5 - March 31, 2004

What a great day here is Sosua! I started the morning off with a wonderful and very relaxing massage at M&M! This was a non-sexual massage, but it was great. I did enjoy tossing off the towel and letter the hammer be seen. She didn't cover me up nor seem to mind. I think it is a good thing to follow that the better the massage, the less likely sex is on the menu. And this massage was the best I had in Sosua and I have at least 2 per day! The girl that gave me the massage at M&M is Kittcat or something like that.

After my massage at M&M, I wanted a little more erotic massage, so I went on the other side of the town to a little place with a sign out that says 2 on 1 massage. It was 500 DRP for 1 hour with 2 chicas. they tried to cover mr. happy, but i pulled off the towel and told them it is ok, I am not shy. they seemed to know this was coming. Then they said I could get 1 of them for suck & fuck for 1000 extra. I said no thanks. I said all I wanted was a bbbj. she said that was 1000. I said no thanks again. She went down to 500 and I said 300. she said 400 and I said OK. she started with just a handjob and I told her no, I wanted BJ. She said not without a condom and I said then forget it. Finally, she gave in when I grabbed my shorts. She gave a good, but not great BBBJ, but took the load on her lips and face. After she cleaned me up she went to the sink and washed her mouth out like crazy. I thought she was about to start using comet and a scrub brush. I tried hard not to laugh. She then wanted more money. I opened my wallet and showed her all I had was 900 DRP (of course, there was some hidden!) She smiled and too the 900 (500 for 2 chica massage and 400 for BBBJ to completion).

I then spent the afternoon at the beach having fun in the surf, drinking free drinks (I met some people from the all-inclusive hotel), and of course staring at the hot topless girls!

After my fun at the beach, I went back for a 3rd massage today! This time it was at the place I went to yesterday. I had the same girl. There was no talk about money. We made our deal yesterday. She gave me a nice 30 minute massage and great BBBJ with CIM. I gave her 620 DRP and a nice gracias! One of the things that I really like about this place is that there are several women getting haircuts a few feet away behind a wall. Do they know what is going on?

Another great day in Sosua!

I went to the Family Massage parlor, across from Sosua by the Sea. No luck. Then I went to another right next to Banco Popular. Again, no luck. Then I went to one next to Don Andres. Again, no luck. I found a place in Cabarete, went inside, looks like it was run by a Dutch pimp. I didnt even bother. In New York, I just look in the Queens Tribune, and I always find a place. I dont mind a BJ or a *rub and squirt*. Where are these places?

I went to the Family Massage parlor, across from Sosua by the Sea. No luck. Then I went to another right next to Banco Popular. Again, no luck. Then I went to one next to Don Andres. Again, no luck. I found a place in Cabarete, went inside, looks like it was run by a Dutch pimp. I didnt even bother. In New York, I just look in the Queens Tribune, and I always find a place. I dont mind a BJ or a *rub and squirt*. Where are these places?

Most are NO EXTRAS!!!. With 5,000 hookers around sometimes a massage is great!

Hi everyone,

Could any of you who are used to going to Sosue provide me with the address and if possible tel. number of the Palace and Europe hotel.

I have been searching the internet (of course, I am not that dumb) but it provides me with several answers and I would not end up in the wrong place.

Thanks

Guys,
See how Nefarious saved himself a bunch of money? He learns fast. Now if you were there for an extended period of time, all you would have to do is make friends with these girls and give them a ride when you see them walking somewhere and so on and you would get your massage for free. Either that or negotiate a 200 pesos massage with bbbj whenever you want and they will agree because they know you will be in all the time and it would be a steady income flow for them. Good job Nefarious. Guys like you help keep the prices reasonable.

Lockout slows air traffic to Dominican Republic.

April 1, 2004

Dozens of flights from South Florida, New York and Europe to the Dominican Republic were delayed or canceled Wednesday, after air traffic controllers in the Caribbean nation were locked out in a union dispute.

The Dominican government installed military controllers, who allowed only one plane per half hour to land in the country's capital of Santo Domingo. Normally, 20 to 40 planes per hour arrive, officials said. Smaller airports were shut down, including in Punta Cana.

"It has slowed us down quite a bit," said Minette Velez, spokeswoman for American Airlines.

The airline, the largest U.S. carrier to the Dominican Republic, canceled six flights to the island nation, including two out of Miami and four out of San Juan, operated by its regional partner, American Eagle, Velez said. Several other flights were "running a bit late," she said.

In all, more than 40 flights from Miami, New York, Puerto Rico, Boston, Panama, Haiti, Venezuela, Spain, France and other European nations were either canceled or delayed, Dominican government officials said.

The slowdown put a strain on U.S. air traffic controllers, particularly those in the Miami Center radar complex, which monitors planes as they fly over South Florida toward the Caribbean, according to the U.S. National Air Traffic Controllers Association.

For five hours on Wednesday, the Miami Center held 20 flights on the ground. It had to add spacing between planes heading to the region, resulting in "serious safety concerns," said Doug Church, NATCA spokesman.

"It caused a ripple effect," he said. "Miami Center had to deal with more traffic."

Dominican air traffic controllers, seeking a salary increase and improved working conditions, had hoped for a contract settlement. Instead, the government replaced them with Air Force controllers at about 8 a.m. on Wednesday, officials said.

The NATCA condemned the lockout of civilian controllers.

"The actions of the government in the Dominican Republic are, at best, reckless," NATCA Executive Vice President Ruth Marlin said. "Not only is the government refusing to negotiate working conditions with its controllers, it has put the safety of its air traffic control system in jeopardy."

Friday April 2: opening of disco D'Clasico
The reconstructions behind the Merengue bar have been going on for months now. Finally, the new disco is almost finished. Willie, the owner of the bar found himself an Italian associate who was prepared to co-finance the project. The official opening was originally planned for November last year. Then it was postponed to February of this year and now, at last, the official opening will be held next Friday, April 2.
They have transformed it into a beautiful disco, with no expense spared. Disco D'Clasico will help to brighten up Sosúa's night life. The tourists certainly won't be bored in the disco, as Willie has promised to put on some sparkling shows.
Of course we'll be there at the opening and will report to our readers soon afterwards.

The Europa is now guest friendly. All you need to do is sign a waiver taking all responsability in case the chica does something while in your room, etc. No ID needed. This is great for day time action.

I always just give a gift to the guard at night and never have a problem.

Also, I always stay at one of the rooms on the ground floor like 108 or 110...this way no need to bother with reception area. Or stay at the Annex building like in apt. 104 and just deal with the guard.

It is about a 4 minute walk from the Palace. I would first check out the Palace.

Final Report - Back at home April 3, 2004

Well guys, I have to tell you that this was the best trip I have ever taken. Not only did I have a great time with the chicas, but also the weather was great after the two-day rainy start, the beach was a amazing (especially the topless girls!), everything was cheap, and I had no problems with anyone.

My last couple of days are a blur, but mostly it consisted of visiting M&M massage in the mornings for a nice relaxing (no extras) massage, a trip to the beach, another massage (with extras), a nice dinner, some drinks, chatting with chicas, and finally a nice hour or so with the chica of my choice.

I found that as I became more confident and more willing to say no even when I wanted to say yes, I became much more effective at negotiation. Yes, I did walk away from a couple that at the time I thought I was really missing out on, but within a 15 minutes I was talking to another one just as nice. Not all of the girls that I had fun with were hot looking, but most were very willing to do whatever it took to please me. Guys, there are a lot of girls there! Don't get stuck on one! You might have to walk away from one or two, but if we go there and get them used to getting 3,000 DRP when the going rate is 500 - 1500 (this was my experience).

OK, now that I am gone, the place where I met the chica that did the 300 peso 1 hour massage including BBBJ to completion is Katty (or something like that). She is at Belkin Salon. It is beauty salon near that big red tower and Popular Bank. There will be women getting haircuts just behind the wall. They will hear you if you are too loud. I don't think you can get more than a BJ there, but I liked it! I went to her 3 times and each time the deal was 300 for 1 hour massage. She always offered BBBJ and completed with CIM and/or face. She did not swallow. She never asked me for any extra money. I always gave her just a small tip and she was always happy to see me when I walked by. I will be sure to attach a picture of her. She isn't great looking, but she does give a good massage, BBBJ with CIM, and doesn't ask for any more $.

My last chica was a girl working at a small bar near PJ's Steakhouse. I am sorry, but I forgot the name of the place. Her name is Francisca. She looks about 25 years old with a good body. Her personality is what made her special. The bad part is that she tends to drink too much and wanted to get a little rough in bed. She grabbed at my ears and I didn't care for that so I got a little (just a little) rough back. She seemed to like that. It is often difficult for me to come with a condom so she let me finish with BBBJ with CIM and face. She asked for 2,500 the night we met. I turned her down flat. The next night she went down to 1,500. I offered 500. We setteled for a 800, but I happily gave her an extra 200 because she really had to work hard to help me get my nut. It was my 4th one that day and I nearly went dry!

Massages
I took some time to go to a few. I found M&M to be the most professional and best feeling massage. My gut told me that no extras would be possible there so I did not try. They did let me go totally nude and uncovered. In M&M and all other massage places I went to except for one allowed me to toss off the towel. I'm a bit of a pervert, but I liked letting her watch me get hard as she massaged my legs, stomach, and chest.

Escape Massage was the worst by far. The girl seemed to really hate massaging me which made me uncomfortable. She insisted that my dick stay covered. I didn't bother asking for extras. I let my hand wonder to her leg once and she quickly moved it back on the table. 350 wasted there.

Josephine's massage is also a massage with extras place, but I only went there once. This was my first experience and I totally blew the negotiation and got ripped off. The girl was OK, but not great. I did not try any others there because each time I went by the first girl was there and kept asking me to come with her again.

I went to Family massage. This was not worth the time, but was just OK. I got no extras here.

There is a new (supposedly new) place called Passion Massage (or something like that) near Europa. They have several girls on hand in nice hot little pink outfits. You choose the one you want. 450 for regular massage and 600 for "erotic" massage. They keep their clothes on, but the one I had let me get my hands in her outfit to feel up her huge tits and finger her and play with her ass. But would not unbutton her top for anything. The "erotic" part is a handjob. I though it was good, but a handjob isn't good enough for me. The massage was good, but just a little rough at times. Some guys might like this however as it was almost like a light sports massage. I in more into the relaxation massage.

I went to a couple of other massage places that offered extras, but I told you about them in previous posts. My advice about massage places is go in expecting just a OK massage. Pull the towel away and tell her this is no problem for you. If she lets you show her what you have, then you're at least on the right track. Tell her she is beautiful. Tell her the massage feels good. Maybe start with a very light brush with your feet and then move to using your hands. If she offeres extras, I am sure that if she sees you are hard, she will offer. Don't be afraid to say no if the price for extras is too high. She will almost always go down in price and even if she doesn't go low enough you got a massage now go do something else and try again later. Don't say yes because you are horny. It makes you look desperate, pathetic, and weak. There are too many chicas to be desperate!

I love Sosua! Thanks to everyone that answered my questions and helped me plan my trip. It was great! I will be back!

This is the famous M&M Massage. I went to many massage places in town and I really think this is the best one for a great massage. No extras as far as I know and I went there several times and was with different girls each time. All excellent massages! It is a little hard to find, but it is close of Popular bank, Belkin Salon, and the big red tower. This is a little farther from the beach up from Casa Mariana Reef Resort.

RESORTS

I stayed at Sosua by the Sea, but was right next to Casa Marina Beach and Casa Marian Reef Resorts. Sosua by the Sea is OK, but if you are going to pay for an expensive hotel anyway then go for Casa Marina. No, none of these resorts are chica friendly, but I don't like chicas in my room anway. I like to take care of business and be on my way. I love the beach at this resort and will go there when I return to Sosua. Trust me, if you like a nice resort with restaurants, pools, nice rooms, entertainment, special services, and a topless friendly beach, go to Casa Marina. I am sure that a lot of guys here will say to stay at Europa, the Palace, etc. Yes, they are chica friendly and close to lots of easy action, but I when I finally found the Europa, I though it was dumpy looking and did not look safe. I never even found the Palace. These hotels are far from the beach for me. I like to be able to be right on the beach. Again, I am sure there are many different opinions, but I like having a place to get away from the chicas when I want to.

Take a look at this picture and see the some of the beauty that you can find on the beach at Casa Marina Beach and Reef resorts in Sosua!

Thanks Ford,

If it weren't for this Forum I would have never taken my trip to Sosua. In fact, I had never even heard of the place. For several weeks, I read just about every forum on WSG that seemed like a possible place I could go. I was so close to going to Pattaya, Thailand, but read some of ******* and other reports about Sosua and changed my mind. As you know, I had a great time in Sosua.

There are many chicas you can have everywhere in Sosua. So even though I posted some information about a few of the chicas that I met, that really isn't the most useful information one could have. The best information that you need to know is that you are the MAN there. Of course you should be kind and respectful, but don't be a chump. Don't let anyone take advantage of you. You are the one with the cash, thus the power.

Of course we all are dying for the pussy, but there is just so much out there that supply exceeds the demand. Remember most tourists are taking their wives and girlfriends there. You aren't competing with them for the chicas! If we all learn to negotiate better and be willing to say no even when our dicks are saying YES, we will all be in better shape to get what we want for only a little money.

Yes, I really blew my first negotiation there, but I got better at it. Yes, I did walk away from a couple of really hot girls that I really wanted to get with, but I ended up with other girls that were just as hot and I did it on MY terms. The chicas that I walked from either found some other chump, they lowered their price, or they went home with no money that night. Don't be the chump! Send her home with no money so the next night she will think twice about asking for too much!

Hi,

I wonder if anyone had sucessfully brought girls back to one of those all-inclusive hotel? I'm going to go to either Cuba or DR this weekend on one of those all-inclusive last minute deal for 1 week. I think I will have better luck in DR than in Cuba (due to the recent crackdown).

Is it ok to pay a hotel staff to get the girls in? If so, how much do you pay? Pesso or USD? $5 or $10 to the doorman?

If girls are not allowed into my hotel, can I get an overnight room in one of those casa? Safe & clean? How much would it cost?

Is Sosua a better area than Puerto Plata (in term of meeting & picking up chicas)? I think they are not too far, is this correct? What about Santo Domingo?

I know some of my questions were answered in this forum before...I just wonder if you have more update information.

My friend & I do not speak Spanish at all. Will some of you be there during the same time period?

I will report back when I return. Thanks a lot!

Split a 2 bedroom at the europa or the palace. If you want women on site go to the palace. If you want to hunt stay at europa. Thats the best of both worlds, A nice all inclusive and also a place for the action. Good luck and we will be waiting for a report!

Member #1727,

I read that a guy once had luck getting a chica into an all-inclusive, but they had to buy a resort braclet for her for $35. I don't know if that was true or if your resort would do this, but I wouldn't want to bring a chica to my real room anyway. There are some rooms you get get very cheap for a night. What I would do is stay at your all-inlcusive resort and keep all your valuables there, but rent a cheap room at the Palace or Europa (these are in Sosua). That way you have a safe, nice room for your stuff and one for fun that will be chica friendly.

You said you don't speak Spanish. My adivce is that you very quickly learn some phrases that will help with meeting, greeting, and negotiation. The small amount of time that you spend learning these phrases will pay off huge for you when you are there. But then again, a simple "hola" and a smile will get you farther with the chicas than you can imagine! Know how to tell a girl she is beautiful, know your numbers for money amounts, and be sure you can say where you want to go with her and what you want to do. Be specific and confident. She has heard it all before! Don't pay too much. It is better to walk away then to get them used to suckers paying too much. Even if you walk, there are tons more who are just as good for a lower price.

As far as which place is better, I have not mongered in Puerto Plata, but Sosua is a chica goldmine. You will have NO trouble at all in finding many cute and willing chicas in Sosua. I would advise you to stay at Casa Marina Beach or Reef resort. These two resorts are very nice, are right next to each other, and share a very nice beach (topless!). I spent 6 days on that beach and loved it. The resorts are very nice and the restaurants (five of them and you can use them all) are very good.

Again, if you want an overnight with a chica, be sure to use Europa or the Palace. Both are very chica friendly! Your all-inclusive will not be and I really would advise against brining chicas there anyway! You might even try a happy hour with two chicas! Just be sure you watch them with your stuff.

If you have any other questions about Sosua, post or PM me. I'm gald to help! I had a great time there myself and am sure you will too!

Casa Marina Reef - any good?

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestions. I have concluded that I will go with one of these all-inclusive tour and then get a room at the Palace or Europia when it is needed.

My travel agent found me a deal at Casa Marina Reef. Is this a good place? Close to the beach? What about serivces?

BTW, will anyone be there this Saturday? If so, please PM me. I am going by myself now, my buddy is not going with me.

Cheers!

Hi,

First time poster here but with more than a few Sosua and broader DR visits under my belt, I'd like to express my esteem for the info spread out on this board, the detailed reports and add a few comments.

Nefarious, wow man, you really got streetwise there in just one single dive in the Sosewer! Damn I should have known that M&M place last Nov. I went to two massageplaces, one on Pedro Clisante, the lady there runs a gift shop and calls someone in when you hire her services. Was pretty expensive though, like 20$us for a cbj but I could fondle her (massive) tits. Definitely overpriced. The other one was Belkis, a hair saloon annex massageroom on the cul-de-sac leading to the Waterfront. I got a bbj from a chica in her late 20ies, well performed and I got the price down to 12$us (quote in us, peso to $ rate plummeted since then). Visited 3 times and was OK on each occasion. I don't remember the girl you mentioned, Katti, nor can I recognize her pic. She must have been new to the bizz or to that joint at least.

Your advice to turn greedy chicas down is 100% true. If there's one thing I have learned from my visits it's to leave that western gentle good guy attitude where it belongs, in the west.

Member1727, if you have the money to spare follow N's advise, book an AI and hobby in a room of an independant hotel or pension. There are plenty and you can get rooms for as low as 7-10$us. Look in Ayuntamiento street where you will find the best deals. I never cared for the AI since they have to much of a family feel for me, pool games, afternoon shows, contests with medals to be won, you get the picture. The Europa is in a different league, clean, spacey rooms with a pin-secured safe. Liked that. I never took a chica there, rather to a cheap hotel or to a cabana when I had my own wheels. Try that and taste the true dominican male experience of having un amante on the side. They all have!

If you want to have quick sex with a chica but do not want to or are unable to take her back to your room, go to the America Hotel in between the Four Roses bar and the liquor store on the main strip. Rooms are about $8 per night but tell the girl at the desk you just want the room for an hour and offer her half that ( 200 pesos). Assuming the owner ( a German) is not around she will see it is an opportunity to pocket a quick 200 pesos and agree. The room will be a tiny little room with a bed and a ceiling fan and a bathroom with no running water ( most likely). I would not stay there for the night but for a quick lay, it is sufficient and cost effective.

How could I forget about the America :-) Sleazy but easy. Reminds me of my novice days when I hooked up with a las in the HC and as I told her my AI Colditz was a no go she nearly talked me into crashing into the Europa. At 45$$$ a nice and comfy haunt for your little mermaid. NO!

The infamous 'C'est la vie'. By meaning 'chicas at this bar', do you mean chicas who patron the bar or camareras? Is Geena still around? Lovely girl from Santo Domingo, 3 kids and not even a scratch.

Much of the success that I enjoyed in Sosua was in large part due to the time that I invested in reading the WSG forums from around the world. If you take the time to learn as much as you can about where you are going and listen to the adivce of those who have been there, you will get the reward for your effort when you get those hot chicas in your bed for pocket change!

Here is a picture of another topless hottie from the beach at Casa Marina. This is what Rence will be staring at soon!

First, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed valuable information to this site. I'm sure it will be very helpful when I reach DR. MarcoNJ and *******, you guys are brilliant. Anyway, Im planning a trip to Sosua for late July or early August. I was hoping I could find someone that would be down there at that time. I'm trying to stay in the penthouse at the Palace. Has anyone ever stayed in that room? Also, Im only 25 and I don't speak any Spanish. Does anyone think I will look like a squirrel if I show up at the Palace solo? I will just be trying to get a little saucy and bang a few chicas, then head back to the rat race in New Jersey. I also want to check out some real estate in the Sosua area. From the websites I've seen, it looks like I can get a nice place for around 75 g's. Does anyone have any ideas on Real estate in DR? I know this isn't a real estate site, but the idea is that I bang chicas in a place that I own. Anyway, I hope this isn't too many questions from a new member. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, possibly in the form of a few chicas on me, if we happen to meet up. One more thing, whats with the drug laws in DR? I would love to take a toke every now and then, but I've been hearing that you get thrown in jail for any amount of the sticky, icky. WTF is that all about?

Keep up the good work Jackson.

Just got back from Sosua, my first trip mongering ever, I had a blast. Should have started years ago! I was there 5 days, stayed at Sosua by the Sea and used the Europa for chicas, except one night, I used Voramar because I was with my all night chica at the casino and figured I'd try it--didn't care for it too much. The owner seemed kind of sullen and the A/C was not that great, plus it's away from the action. Just my impression. But either place is chica friendly. Didn't stay at Blue Dolphin or the Palace, but checked them both out during the day. Talked to John at the Palace for a while, very nice guy, lots of info. He told me I was paying the right price, guys who say they pay 500 for all night are BS. He said that was true years ago, but no more. There were about 8 chicas there at the Palace, just hanging out. Anyway, my first day I walked by Josephine's Massage and a chica called out to me, so I checked it out. Her name was Anna, maybe a 6, but I was ready to start the fun. After a few minutes of preliminaries, she just grabbed my meat and said 1200 and stuck out her tongue, meaning BJ and said we had to be quiet. I told her I only had 800, which was true, for one of my pockets. I had the two pocket system going. When I insisted and got ready to leave she relented. I had saved up my jism for a week so I'd have plenty in my pipes for the week, and she got a lot of it, what a beautiful mess...she got it in her mouth and all over her face. BBBJTC and CIM. All my BJs were BB for the week, which was great. After that "massage" it just got better for me. If you're proficient in Spanish, you've got it made. If not, just say hola, but you should learn some phrases and numbers though, at the very least. I'm not sure how well you could do with limited Spanish, my guess is not very well, but I don't know. I'm an all nighter guy for a couple of reasons: I like getting the same girl more than once, and I'm always horny in the mornings. So I can't speak to the short-time situation. No wonder it's called La Isla de Las Culos! What fine asses, wiggling everywhere you look! Nice smiles too, most of them very friendly. If they were here in the states they wouldn't even talk to me, down there I'm their man for a night, it's great! Plenty of 7s and 8s around, especially at night. My advice is if you're not a night person, become one, do whatever you have to in order to get your clock adjusted. Very slim pickings in the afternoon, just a few hags, unless someone knows differently. If you do, please PM me. One night while my all night chica was taking a nap I was approached by three 7-8 chicas in the space of about 10 minutes. It was about 11:30 PM--lots of guys wait until then to even begin to start but mostly I think they like the short time action. The highlight of my trip was a super-thin very dark-skinned chica who called herself Dalin (I looked at her ID in the morning--not her real name, who cares). *Maybe* a 22 inch waist, perfect butt, not a gram of fat, runway model body, big eyes, about 5'10". She was a 9 in my book, even in the morning light when I was inspecting her closely. Banged her twice at night and twice the next morning, thanks to Viagra. That stuff really works. I did a whole "who's your daddy" thing with her and spanked her ass pretty hard, she just kept moaning and saying "F*** me papi!". I'm a 41 year old average looking Joe and here I am banging a 19 year old Naomi Campbell clone! I haven't had a piece that nice since 1986. I gave her 2000 and let her go. There was also a very light skinned bottle-blonde, about 5 feet tall, 19, great ass, named Yoraira, or "Laura", but not a great attitude. John from the Palace knew of her, he had to get rid of her because she was being too aggressive. I paid 1500-2000 for the all nighters. Some of the girls will ask for more, and I know I'm echoing Nefarious here, but just move on, don't give in to the thought of "but she's so hot!". I know it's tempting, but you have to resist! There are always more hotties a stroll away. Always. There are way more of them than us. One chica had the gall to ask for 4,000! I just cackled and walked away, and even when she tagged after me and came down to 2000 (which was appropriate, she was an 8), I blew her off on general principle. Bring plenty of your own rubbers, the ones they sell you at the Europa break. The chicas need IDs for the Europa but other than that it's not a problem, plus they sell beer and water, and there's a watchymon (security guard) with a shotgun. I tipped him a bit (200), so he was always real cool and called me by name, and there was always a room available for me when I showed up, usually # 116. I might stay at the Palace next time, John showed me one of the rooms, it looked pretty nice. Anyway, if you read the posts and aren't a fool, it's pretty hard to go wrong in Sosua. You're the boss. It doesn't mean you have to be an a-hole, in fact, I know enough Spanish that I actually enjoyed talking to the chicas in betwen sessions. If you treat them nice you'll get better service. It doesn't cost extra to compliment them. But remember that you are The Man, and don't overpay. One funny side note--I was at a little bar, I think it's the Gari-Gali or something like that. The bartender had a very fine body, OK face, so I bought her a presidente and she started grinding her little butt into my crotch--great lap dance for $1.50!--and these two Canadian dudes from Sosua by the Sea walked up for a drink. They had no idea about any of this stuff, the chicas, etc. and they were both about to get married! Poor guys...the one just kept asking me "are you serious?" and the other went catatonic--he either wouldn't or couldn't speak. It was pretty funny. A few minutes later an 8 walked by and in about one minute I was off with her for 3 bangs: 2 at night and one wake-up session. That was my routine. Well, it's been a long day of travel. Sorry I don't have pics--my digital camera went south on me on the first day. Oh yeah, I had no problem at the airport, I just flat out ignored the $5 tip guy. Don't let anyone carry your bags. Use confident body language, you'll be fine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Hi,

I have been to Sosua and Cabarete last week. I have been there for my 3rd time, here some impressions:

Saturday:

I arrived on saturday evening and it was raining like hell. I never before had fear of landing, but this time I did: You could not see the airport till short time before landing, the heavy rain, the strong wind.

A german lady asisde of me in the plane told me that Sosua is a dangerous place and that a tourist has been killed recently. I was surprised, when I have been there before never experienced anything bad except greedy moto-concho drivers and greedy chicas. Later I heard that the "tourist" has been a resident who owned a car-rental an he has been killed by an employee. Seems that the area is truly save for tourists!

I did not want to pay $15 for the Taxi to Sosua so I asked a driver that took two tourists from the airport to a hotel if I can go with him for $5. He agreed immediately.

In Sosua I took the Hotel Central for $15 a night. The Hotel is right next the Merengue-Bar, in the heart of the "interesting" part of Sosua. I like the place, there are rooms that are really quiet (and quiet rooms are really hard to find in the center of Sosua!), they are cleaned every day and you can rent a save for add. $3.-/day. The hotel is run by a german. And matrasses are good too. ;-)

Because of really heavy raining (!) saturday night I stayed at the Bar of the Hotel Central. A girl talked to me. I immediately said that I like to talk but I do not want her to make any troubles when later I turn to another girl. She said okay and we had an intersting talk about life here, I really enjoyed it. I can highly recommend to everybody to make a spanish-course, some of the girls are really intelligent warm-hearted women, it is a pleasure to have a cocktail with.

Later I choose a slim girl from Haiti with a good body and a charming attitude. I stayed with her all night for 1.000 pesos. She was really hot, we had true girl-friend-sex (gfs), kissing and hugging all the night.

Sunday:

Daytime-action was not so easy: Weather was too cold for lying at the beach and interesting girls are not so easy to be found during daytime.

Sunday evening I went to Merengue-Bar but the girls there were too "professional" for me. I don't like the Puta-style, I like the "normal" girls that only work as putas and not "are" putas. Believe me, that is a difference and the girls appreciate it when you tell them that you noticed it! Besides: When you talk with them about there job use the term "to work in the street" (trabajar en la calle) instead of "work as puta". I shows them that you know that they are good girls (and most of them are, they are mothers that need money for their children). But never be only the good guy: Also if you like them you have to make clear that you want to buy an excellent service for a good price: friendship is friendship and business is business!

A girl told me of the discos here in town. She said she liked Latino's more because the girls there are normal girls, the girls in the High Caribbean are more mafioso-girls. As the High Caribe is closed Mon-wed I went there.

In the High Caribe were lots of girls. One (small and slim as I like it) approached me. She was nice, liked to talk. Told me that she was 17 ("18 in 3 months") and she wanted to go with me. But 3 things irridated me: 1) She greeted a huge dominican guy with a gold chain around his neck, 2) she did not want to go before exact 3am, 3) she said I can pay whatever I want. All alarm-bells were ringing: Imagine a chica that is telling you if you do not pay what SHE wants she will go to the police and tell she is only 17!

I wished her all the best for her future-career and selected a nice haitian girl (besides: when the Haitian from Saturday saw me she passed by and gave me a kick with the elbow ... but I ignored her, I told her before it was only for one night). The girl wanted 1.000 for all night (4-8 am), we agreed on 700.-. After sex in the hotel she wanted to leave and asked 700. I said she can stay until 8 and get the 700 or leave and get 500. She left with 500.-.

Monday:

Still bad weather during daytime. In the Hotel Central there was no water (something broke), so I moved to Ricky's. He is an extraordinary friendly canadian guy, it was a pleasure meeting him. His rooms are clean and good ($15 a night). In his place I saw some nice chicas. He said he allows only the good and correct ones to come here. I asked one of them how much and we agreed on 1.000.- all night. She was a very nice girl, again good gfs until 10am. I watched everything but she never tried to steel something.

Tuesday:

I was a little fed up with the Bars in Sosua and so I moved to Cabarete (12 km distance). Went to the Hotel Laguna Blu ($15.-/night) that is directly in the center and very quiet, good matrass. Cabarete has many bars directly on the beach, it is very beautiful and romantic to walk there in the evening. There are lots of young tourists from all parts of the world. The chicas you can find in special bars during daytime and at two discos in the night: Las Brisas and Bambu. the latter is more international, but in Las Brisas are more chicas. I selected one slim black Haitian chica and stayed with her all night for 1.000.-.

A word on prices: I think the prices I got you can only get from Haitian girls that stay illegally in the DomRep. Dominican girls cost min. 50-100% more!

We had such a nice night that I decided to take her as "novia" (=stay with her the next days). But I told her I want to meet her every day at midnight, so I had some time for variation.

Wednesday:

Finally weather became better. Cabarete beach is simply great!

In the evening I met a dominican chica with which I spent an hour 2 years ago. We talked for an hour, then she asked if I want to take her to my room. I did but I should not: She was really bad, after 45 min of fucking she said she has to go to her children and asked me 1.000.- pesos. I said I give her 800: 500 for talking and 200 for the bed-action.

At 12 I met my novia and had a great night.

Thursday:

Nice day at the beach.

Going home from the beach I met a nice girl in a bar. We talked for an hour, then I took her home (500.- for an hour although a dominican. I think it was one of her first times with a stranger, she was very shy).

At 12 I was waiting for my novia but she did not come. First I thought she has found someone who paid more, but then a girl told me that the police has arrested her together with some other chicas. I went with a moto-concho to the police station, put my cuba libre on the floor and asked the police officer politely if I can help that my amiga gets out of jail. He said: tomorrow! and I left.

Went to the disco and took a nice dominican girl that liked me (we have talked long time before) from 4-8am for 1.000.-.

Friday:

Fantastic day at the beach. After breakfast I went to the police station and asked the chief officer if I can help that she gets free, eg if I can pay the fine (some girls told me the police just wants money, then they let the girls free again). But the officer said no no, no money, the tourist police just wants to protect tourists and girls bla bla bla. Finally he let her go. Was a nice guy.

My novia brought me to her "home". It is incredible how this beautiful girls that you only see dressed up like models in the disco live if they are illegal haitians, like Masai in Africa.

We stayed in my hotel the rest of the day.

Saturday:

At 5pm my novia accompanied me to the airport. We hat a last session in bed. Afterwards she wanted to go home to fix her hair because she did not want me to remind her with bad-looking hair. I really liked her! At the airport she asked me 20 pesos to go back with the Guagua. I gave her all the pesos I had left (ca. 1.200.-) and still had the sensation that it was far to few for the love and passion you get from these fantastic girls in the DomRep!

Hasta la proxima vec, mis amigas!

morpheus666: good thing you passed on the small, slim girl from high caribe that was 17! you should know that the legal age for sex int the dr is 18! i often saw tv commercials on when i was in the dr reminding people of the ramifications of getting caught wiht **** women. there are plenty of 18+ women available thruout the dr! btw, you posted some useful info, but feel free to give the names, ages and looks description of the legal age pros you hooked up with. 411 like that is what fellow mongers appreciate and find helpful!

"From the websites I've seen, it looks like I can get a nice place for around 75 g's. Does anyone have any ideas on Real estate in DR?"

For 75k, it had better be a nice place. I bought an apartment for $6000. Yeah. Uh huh. $20 for maintainance a month. The Europeans and Canadians are the ones selling well above market price. DR doesn't have any "conventional financing" available. You can find a better place, for less than half.

"I told her I only had 800, which was true, for one of my pockets. I had the two pocket system going."

Man, I have used that system for years, and never even KNEW the correct name for it.

Thanks guys, for taking the time to read my long entry with no valuable info. Don't worry, I won't overpay for anything. For 75 k Im talking about a 4-5 bedroom house, garage, custom pool, tile everything, ocean and mountain view, you know, luxury shit. That's the way I do it. One more question. Do you guys think my buddy and I will look like squirrels at the Palace b/c we are only 25 and 27 years old? I probably seem gay for making an issue out of the age thing, but it sounds like most of you guys are much older. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but this place sounds like a riot. Like Vincent Vega said, "That's it. I'm fuckin goin!" I'm just waiting to hear back from John on the availability of the penthouse for late July, early August. Also, that girl Mercedes should change her name to Toyota truck. By the amount of pics I'v seen of her, I can tell she's got some miles on that azz. But I guess Mercedes' go for just as long. Haha. Anyway knowledge is money, so get back at me.

Thanks again.

Gpiper,

Okay, if the girl tells you before that she is 17 it's your own fault if you bang her. But what if the girl tells you she is 19 and in fact she is 17? So many of these girls look so damn young, small and thin as they are.

Are you as a monger obliged to check the ID of a girl you take at your hotel to see if she is over 18?

Does anyone know something on that?

Does anyone know what happend to mongers that have been caught by the police?

Best regards

M.

Chimpo,

As far as having a few tokes in the DR DONT EVEN THINK OF IT! They have a ZERO TOLERANCE law. They will hang you by the balls for a roach. From what I heard you will do up to 2 to 5 years for a minor possesion or an unbelievable amount to pay your way out. You may have people offer it to you, almost all are rats praying you buy so they can split the bread with the cops when the bust you! So my brother enjoy the rum and pussy and roast away when you get back home.

I have just returned from five days in Sosua, my first trip to the DR. I must say that I have not had it that good in years, and the only thing on my mind right now is to find a way to go back, what I will not be able to do in the short-term because of work (ie I come from Europe, DR is too far to fly only for two/three days). As some have already put it on this board, the place is growing on you even if, like me, you have not bedded fifteen girls in a week (quite the contrary in my case).

I stayed at the Europa hotel, I found it surprisingly good but for the AC that is too noisy to be left on. My first evening out was on Friday 2 April. I started by sitting at a few bars, ending up at the Merengue. Right away you can see which ones are professionals (they are there every evening anyway) and I was not too interested in that. So I sent back those that tried to chat me up. I then went upstairs to the D'Clasico night club. As I was standing there, that girl came up to me. She was Dominican, between seven and eight (with more boobs, she would have been a nine). I was not too sure whether I wanted to keep her. But I did because of her behaviour - she acted a bit "locco", that at least showing me she was no professional. We went on dancing, I bought her a few drinks. The only problem was her girlfriend, but I solved that by giving her 50 Pesos to go home.

I then started the bargaining, telling her that I wanted to bring her back to the hotel. She told me she was no puta, and was not doing it for money. I am fairly good looking, in my thirties, with hair and no beer belly but not so full of myself. So I decided to remain careful. But hey, what did I have to loose. I brought her back to the hotel, we did what we have to do both before going to bed and after waking up. She indeed did not ask for money. It is just that as we were about to leave my room in the morning I took some money from the safe for the day. She saw all the pesos I had in there and asked me if I would give her some. I glady handed out a thousand pesos.

From then on, I saw her every single night, following basically the same routine. We would meet up in a restaurant or a bar at 9/10 pm, have food and a few drinks (ie get wasted) and then go dancing until three/four am. I would then bring her back to the hotel. Sometime I would give her a thousand pesos in the morning, although not each time. She only asked for money the day of my departure, asking whether I would give her 2000, which I did.

All this rambling to say that for those not necessarily interested in screwing as many girls as possible in a few days (or who like me dont have the stamina), but are rather interested in meeting a girl and have fun, Sosua is great as well. You can have a great girlfriend with whom you can hit it off (in the sense that you can chat up for, dance, drink, go to the beach...) for not much money. You pay the Beers and the Cuba Libres, the food and then give her some pocket money. And you have close to the best week of your life.

A couple of follow-up questions after my 1st visit:

1) I didn't even think about it while I was there, since it's all so out in the open, but is mongering legal or just widely tolerated by la policia?

2) One chica told me she got tested every 10 days for disease(s). I kinda thought that was BS. Is it possible it's true for some and not others, or not true for any of them?

3) All the chicas I was with had IDs, so I was able to tell their age. Besides, can't get them into Europa without an ID. What's up with the ones that don't have IDs? Haitians, or other non-DRs there illegally (my guess)?

Thanks a billion.

Ecanto,

You see, this is exactly what is so appealing about Sosua! No matter what you want be it a quciky, all-nighter, or a longer relationship, it can be found in one place. Not only that, everything is inexpensive, the weather is great, and the beach is wonderful. Don't get me started or I'll be online booking another trip!

Since this was also my first visit, I also would like to add one question to those submitted by Ostronic, linked to his question #2.

The girl I went out with was kind of dissapointed when I insisted that I had to wear a condom. I must say I have never seen that before - I had to insist several times and state that I would not do anything without one. She eventually gave up and got use to it.

Could anyone tell me whether this is standard behaviour (ie they are a bit locco) or whether that hides something (ie do they expect to become pregnant and then ask for money?) Or am I way out of line?

Thanks for the response

Explorer1
04-10-04, 20:45
No, you not out of line Ecanto. These girls are hoping to hit the lottery. Getting one pregnant is their ticket to some financial security. Don't allow them to convince you to have sex without a condom. I was in the DR last year and had the same experience. I'm more concerned with STDs. I double up before I have sex, and it's not a topic of discussion. If she doesn't like it, I show her the door.

Morpheus666: when in doubt, check the girls i.d. Many of the sw's in Sosua are 18-19, so that is obviously cutting it close in age. Better safe than sorry! If they are at least 18 they will show you their id, as most of them in Sosua know that it's required to get in most of the hotels.

John Chimpo: don't worry about beong in your mid-late 20's at the Palace! There are often mongers there from their early 20's - late 50's! All are welcome!

A couple of last minute questions?

Traveler's cheques: How easy is it to cash them? Does Super Super liquor accept them?

Is renting a car down there a hazard or not. I have rented cars in Costa Rica before, nad once you got out of San Jose, I had zero problemas. I assume that they are not cheap. I do want to take a day ( kind of an off day) to look at the countryside etc...

Do all of the bars have the NBA on? I assume they watch Baseball, and I guess I cannot call Pedro Martinez a puta when I am down there, even if he is one.

It is better to carry cash. Mainly because they wont have to go to the the bank to cash travelers checks. You can keep the cash at safe deposit boxes which most of the hotels have.

Imho renting a car is good idea. I have always rented a car at pop
aiport. You can go online at orbitz or expedia to find out the best prices for your itenary. I will list the advantages below.

You can go around sosua, cabarete, puerto plata, santiago whenever you like rather than worrying about the cab charges or the bus.

If you find a GFE girl you will enjoy travelling around rather than just wham boom in your room. Also they will act as good guides showing you the interesting places. I took a girl to santiago and had great fun . She not only acted as my guide but also gave me directions and took me to local places to hang out. It was lot of fun.

It is fun to see the countryside rather than walking around sosua. I personally dont like riding with the moto guys.

Now all important matter of money. It cost me $38.00 to rent a intermediate car from hertz and $13.00 for complete insurance per day. Driving was easy although you have to be careful like driving anywhere else.

Do all of the bars have the NBA on? I assume they watch Baseball, and I guess I cannot call Pedro Martinez a puta when I am down there, even if he is one.

As i have seen very few bars have TV. But you can watch in your room because they all have satellite channels.

Ecanto,

As to whether the girls are "locas" or just scheming to hit the jackpot by getting pregnant from a foreigner, I guess these two options are not necessarily mutually exclusive. As a matter of fact, I'd say that the while exposing themselves to the risk of contracting STDs sure makes them irresponsible, please keep in mind that they have WAY less to lose than you (considering how many sex partners they have had, and there have been reports of girls with AIDS going on with their work, too), so it would certainly be even more irresponsible for you. I have been to the DR twice, and was offered unptrotected sex on several occasion by different girls (keyword "leche afuera, 'ta bien?). My experience has been that the option of unprotected sex usually comes up if they and you don't have any at that specific point in time. So don't rely on the girls bringing condoms, and bring your own (from home). Much more reliable than the ones available locally. Just a broken condom, and you might be in for the pregnancy ride, too. Keywords: "whose kid is it, anyway" and "pregnancy, the fake kind". But more on that in a separate post [:-)))].

Also, I thought a bit about what you mentioned in terms of "She told me she was no puta, and was not doing it for money". After spending some time in DR, I have come to the conclusion that one can pretty much disregard how they define themselves, as "puta", "no puta", "buena chica que necesita dinero" or whatever not, and just look at what they do, rather than what they say. Many of them lie outright, some in a more subtle fashion. Some of them might actually just be twisting the truth a bit in their favor: some girls I've met are truly very good at self-deception about what they're actually doing (along the lines of "I am actually only do it when I need money, only people I would go to bed with otherwise, anyway, and since they happen to have some spare change available, I will simply ask for money when, otherwise, I wouldn't do that. Why shouldn't I - they won't miss it, and it would really help me a great deal."). But the simple fact remains, the requests for money will come, sooner or later, regardless of whether they say they will ask for money or not. Whether upfront, afterwards, directly or indirectly, a little or a whole lot, whether based on valid reasons or invented ones. Most of these girls need money, some terribly (and not necessarily for the reasons they all tell you, mind you). But their actions clearly indicate that all of them WANT money and will ask for it.

One a more general note: I know that since a girl might provide a true GFE, or it might be a "rent a girlfriend for your stay" experience, and she might call you everything from a "novio" to her "esposo", it can be awefully difficult at times to remember that, after all, she is not your girlfriend. I am like you in that respect: I find a great girl I like, I stick with her, usually. But keep in mind, she's treating you LIKE your girlfriend, and she's acting LIKE your girl friend, not AS your GF. Very subtle, but a very big difference indeed (and one that many had to learn the hard way, too, I guess, including me). And needless to say, those girls that are very adept at blurring this fine line into oblivion might, in fact, be the most dangerous ones, and true professionals in that respect. Natural born psychologists , highly skilled at the art of manipulation - professional scam artists. Be especially suspicious of any girl who claims she want to have a kid with you after knowing you only for a short period of time. As a matter of fact, not knowing you at all, really. But more importantly, this also means that you don't know her at all - and you're on her home turf. More likely than not, you're in for a rollercoaster ride, Dominican style.

Dear El Austriaco,

Thanks for the extensive response.

Since I had discovered this forum before departing to the DR, I was by and large aware of the different "schemes" you refer to in your post. I have been more than careful both on the physical and "psychological" level. And I certainly did not (and don’t) intend to have a child with someone I hardly know – having a child is far too important an event to have one in such circumstances. I also do not expect a girl to fall for me in a matter of days, if not of hours. I know I am not too bad looking but I am not that vain. And I probably don’t qualify as a sex god either.

But you see, even though I had been warned and was kind of ready for everything you describe, I still got into that girl to an extent. This is because she did not behave as I expected she would. She took me aback because she precisely did not give me that GFE, or only partly. Whereas those girls that you meet at night in a Sosua bar are all over you in a matter of minutes (i.e. stroking your arm, your hand or your thigh), she was different in the sense that she would instead chat with me and make fun of me, to a point where I may pretty well have left at some stage. She did not behave any differently the following days and would not take too much shit from me. In other words, she did not seem so desperate to hook up and stay with me. On top of it, she was very straightforward in the sense that she told me she had a five year old daughter, that the father was German and that she was going every so often to Germany (i.e. she showed me her passports with the various visas). And sure she was interested in money – but she took what I gave her and did not give me any hassle in this respect.

Being a very rational person, I have to admit that you are probably right and that she is a scam artist in her way. And I have no doubt whatsoever that I was replaced even before my plane took off. But I also have to stress that had I not read this board before leaving (and therefore not gone there with a very good understanding of life in Sosua) I may have gone farther with this girl than I actually have. Because the relationship, even if faked, was so truly amazing.

So all in all, thanks to everyone for all the words of caution.

Austrico,

Great report you took the words right out of my mouth. I have been in the DR off and on for 16 years and have seen many tourists come and go. First the Germans and europeans and now the americans. I myself am Italian American and im ammazed at the tricks these girsl get over on my fellow country men. My first time here many years ago i had my first experience with a "notaputa"" (they go way back guys and still are being taught to this day years later the same tricks and lies.). She went trought the whole spectrum of emotions the ""pappy i love you"" ,i want your baby. I even caught her wiping the jizz off her face and cramming it inside of her in the bathroom. Needless to say that was eviction time. I knew she was full of shit, But a great actress she was. The moral of the story is this, If there is no communication with you and your ""novia""how can she love you? If there is 10 to 20 year age difference, How can she love you?. She cant and she doesnt! Remember these girls want out of here in the worst way so they are going to put on the acadamy award winning act to get out of here and you are the winning ticket to get them out. That same experience i had with her is a carbon copy of what happens over and over again now. Also guys this is not meant as anysort of insult or flame to anyone. I am just passing on 16 years of wisdom i have gained here. So this is the bottom line go down to paradice enjoy your time with them, Believe nothing they tell you and when the weeks over leave it all behind and come back and do it again. AND DONT GET BLINDED BY THE PUSSY!

Hi everyone,

I've been here since Saturday night. I am staying at an AI hotel. Although you CANNOT take girls back to the hotel, there are hotel such as the Palace you can go to. John from Palace has been very good to me. I met few girls there and they are very very friendly. I just wish I could speak spanish. I met More, Maria, Yahira & Solanyi etc. there. I took their pics but promise not to post them on the Internet. Yes, they know about us. :-)

First of all, DO NOT drink too much beers if you are not a big drinker. I got wasted on Sunday night. I was drunk and showed up at the Palace like 11:30pm and have Soanyi for the full night, but I basically passed-out. What a waste of time & money (I should've just go the bed). And the local beers made me so SICK for almost 2 days. So NO MORE BEERS (maybe only imports) for me.

The M&M massage place provides great professional service (i.e. no extra) - $400 pesos for 1 hour.

Here are few things I found:

- Internet access: $2 pesoes per minute.

- Exchange rate:
$1USD = $42Hotel/$44Others
$1CAD = $24Hotel/$24-$30Others (too bad for us Canadians)
(you have to shop around to get 30).

- There are ATMs but haven't used them yet

- The Palace is quite hard to find, even the taxi drive had to stop and ask around. It is on the same street as the Europa but further down, and you will have to turn left to see it. It looks like an old castle. If you see the Super Super store, you are not too far from it...but make sure you ask 'cause there is no sign.

- I was on few computers in different Internet Cafes and discovered that wsgforum url was on the IE history on few of these PCs. I guess there must be a lot of us here but only a few who would post and share.

OK, I got to go and will write more later.

.....on a litagatory note there is no current reciprocity agreement between the United States and the Dominican Republic for the enforcement of child support payments or child support maintenance. Although, an agreement is currently on the table it is being held up due to the obvious inaccuracy in reporting and generally poor state of record-keeping in Santo Domingo. (How old is Alfonso Soriano really?!)

The only "obligation" you have to a girl of the "DR" if you get her pregnant is solely a moral one.

I think when these girls "roll the dice" and have a child with you they are banking on their sense that you're going to do the right thing! This is currently all they've got.

Ford,
Although she may not be able to drain you for child support if you are in the United States, the ball is completely in her court if you go down to the DR again and she sees you. If she goes to the police and explains that the American father of her baby is back in the country, they will use it as an opportunity to detain you and extort money from you. You will then be forced to hire an attorney and legally "buy" her out of your life. This can generally be done by having her sign papers stating that she absolves you forever from all responsibility. These papers would be signed after an amount of money paid from you to the mother would be agreed upon. I have heard it being done for $5,000 and $10,000. Yes, that is dollars, not pesos. Many of these girls are smarter than you think.

A Dominican friend of mine got stopped 2 years ago at the airport for child support he owed to a dominican girl. His name was in the computer. He didnt get locked up becuse he was an eqivualent of a "good old boy" and knew everyone. But they did take him to the station and he had to go to court and pay before he could leave the DR. Now they were both dominican so we are talking about 2 different things. But rest assured if your novia can even remotly convince the police the kids yours you will be locked up and extorted. The only law in the DR is the green!

I'm gonna have to disagree with Sosua Doctor on the whole child support, go to the police thing. So your telling me when a Dominican girl see's her babies father who is from the United States she just goes to the police, and the police take the father into custody and he can't leave the country untill he pays $5000 to $10,000 & theres no DNA test to prove he's the real father? Some of these puta's might be getting laid by 25 guys a week, who's to say who the real Papi is. If it's that easy how come all these girls don't go to the police all the time and just point to any American and say "he's the Papi"?

Just my thought

It would be easier, and above all cheaper, for me to fly to Santo Domingo rather than to Sosua. Could anyone tell me what is the best and easiest way to transfer from SD to Sosua, how much time it would take and more or less what the price would be??

Jimmy,

If you fly directly into SDQ, would you just take a cab directly to the bus station in Santo Domingo to catch a bus from there, or are there any buses leaving directly from the airport? From where I am located, flying to the North Coast is pretty much impossible, so for me, too, Santo Domingo might be the only option. Might spend a month there in Sosua in June or later this year, depending on my schedule, or maybe I'll split time between Santo Domingo and the North Coast (never been there so far, so I am curious). Thanks so much in advance for any information.

Caribe tours offer more variety of times and physical locations than Metro.

Metro: Only has several stations throughout the country. Santo Domingo to Santiago for those interested, and then Santiago to Puerto Plata. About 2.5 hour ride from Santo Domingo to Santiago. Another 1.5 hour to Puerto Plata not including waiting time because they don't depart hourly.

Caribe: Has location in Santo Domingo, Santiago, Puerto Plata, Sosua, etc. Buses depart hourly to Puerto Plata and have buses that stop in Sosua as well. I can't post website addresses but do a google search under caribe tours with keywords dominican republic and you will find all the info you need, it will be in spanish so click horarios on the webpage. I recommend Caribe because they go more places in the DR than the Metro.

I have taken buses several times in the DR not including gua gua's. Usually about 3-5US equivalent in Pesos to go almost anywhere in the country.

Haggle when dealing with taxi drivers. I have negotiated 45 on 2 separate occasions, for monger friends of mine to have a one way drive from Santiago to Sosua and this was in March. Of course the taxi driver will quote about 75US or more.

For those thinking of driving in the DR for your first trip, don't do it straight from the airport. It is a whole different monster driving here and I think someone should take a day or two watching how people drive before they get behind the wheel. After numerous trips here, I will be moving to the DR in 1.5 years and am getting my stuff in order. Learn/improve your Spanish of some form if traveling to the DR, many AMET and police officers will not help you and often will try to get bribes. Don't pay them. Get a connection with someone important and so when you get in trouble or being pressed, you have someone who can strike fear in the person trying to scam you. I use a high military officer in Santo Domingo who I met on chance almost two years ago, and I make it a point to see him everytime I go to the DR and bring something for his kids every trip. It is all about who you know, that is how the country works.

Gutter Meat,
Like Jimmy said, if a girl goes to the police claiming a baby is yours, chances are she know what she is talking about. I assume that subsequent DNA tests would prove or disprove her claim. Obviously, if it is proven that the child is not yours, you will not have to hire a lawyer to buy her out of your life. Either way, the police would either A) hold you until the test results are back or B) hold your passport preventing you from leaving the country until the results are back. We all know how money talks in the DR. I am sure you could buy your way into option B with enough money. However, unless you are policitally hung like a horse, you are not going to escape the country without addressing your paternal responsibilities. If the baby is yours, you are going to have to buy the girl out of your life.

DNA testing can be done in Santiago or Santo Domingo that I know of. I had mine done in Santiago because I always use protection except for two different normal girls on single occasions each time because I didn't have any more condoms, I knocked one of them up, hard lesson learnt. It is a moral obligation if you have DNA testing and the kid is yours to pay, but a problem for you if you return to the DR and a claim has been filed against you. You may find yourself getting detained or paying a large sum of money. If there are any questions of paternity, pay for the DNA testing and have it sent to a US lab to determine the results, it will run several hundred dollars, and then arrange a monthly child support fee if the child is yours, that is what I do. I pay 180US a month and see him every 2-3 months. It isn't the kid's fault.

Only approved testing is done by US embassy in Santo Domingo, that is if you care and want to bring the kid to USA. Costs around $800 and passport is issued the next day.

To continue with this same discussion topic.

So are you suggesting that the next time I step foot into the "DR" it is possible that a chica has contacted the authorities re: a paternity claim and my name will be "red-flaged" as soon as my passport is checked in at the airport? This can happen?

Also Member #1553 you claimed you are paying $180 per month for your child support payments - how was this determined? Who concluded that this is an equitable amount, a Dominican court? Was it based on your salary here in the States or on her perceived needs? Last time I checked, this amount is a good 2X what my chica earns in one month salary! You make $180 in the DR and you are rich!

Now that I think about it this whole thing is starting to get me a little concerned...... its a good thing that Central America is nice this time of year too! I can't recall any of my sperm getting loose on either of my trips to Honduras. ;)

Ford,
I wouldn't have had to pay quite that much but I offered that amount and my lawyer in the US drew up the documents, she sent it off to my baby's mom DR lawyer, everything was signed and filed, so it is valid. I really didn't do too much, I just let my lawyer and her lawyer work things out. I didn't want to haggle about how much my son would get because I want him to live as comfortably as possible. That is a whole heck of a lot cheaper than if I knocked up a woman in the US based on my salary I would have to provide insurance and pay probably between 110-125US weekly. I have heard that if a woman files a claim against you, you can be detained entering or trying to leave the country, but this is just second hand information from a couple of people. My sources are pretty reliable so I would believe this to be the case. But often DR women accuse you of being the parent to string you along but won't file because they really don't know who the father is, they just hope you will pay them money because they are poor, with a child/or another child to support. If they are certain, they will file.

If I can add something to the information posted by #1553, it would be this:

First of all, 1553 is more than right when he says you should be able to come up with the name of an official with clout in case the police gives you some hassle. I have travelled quite a bit in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Northern Africa for work, and I can tell you that it has worked every single time I have had a problem. In my experience, you dont even need to know the person - the name is enough and you only need to pretend that you know him. What I usually do before going into one of these countries is to find out the name of the head of national police (the name of the Ministry of Interior is too public and too obvious). Since I work in the governmental / foreign affairs sector I usually am able to find out that type of information. If interested, I could try and find it out for the DR.

What I also always do is to take several passports with me on such trips (I have multiple nationalities). Since you can also enter the DR with a simple ID card, you can also keep your passport as a spare (ie this applies only to nationals of those countries issuing official/national ID cards, meaning western european countries). I was wondering, however, whether the DR immigration system is sophisticated enough to spot you if you were trying to exit the country with a different passport than the one you use to enter the country. I mean is their IT system that good and their immigration system vis-à-vis tourist that good? It did not seem to be the case when I went through it in PoP earlier this month.

Apart from becoming father of a child without your will there is another reason why you should take condoms: AIDS (spanish: SIDA)

As I heard in the last days (unfortunately not before my visit) the DomRep has one of the highest HIV-infection-rates in the world! UN-reports speak of 20% of the girls working in the sex-business are infected!

I used condoms, but twice they broke, although I used extra strong quality. Second time I had a little wound on my dick. If it is true with the 20% I guess my chances are 5:1 that I was infected. Testing makes sense not before the beginning of July, hope I can celebrate independance-day.

My advice:

1) If you like to take the girl several times during the night without big foreplay use some glide. Otherwise even condoms with extra strong quality break.

2) Have medical alcohol 60% ready for desinfection if condom breaks.

You and ******* make some good points. My concern, of course, is that the money I would send would never get to my kid.

With all due respect to these women they all have so many other places and so many other family members in need that I would be afraid that the money I sent would be helping half the population of the Town of Sanchez and none would get to my child. I think our government knows this and that is why they are reluctant to enter into an "iron-clad" reciprocity agreement with Santo Domingo.

Here in the USA you would be paying considerably more money for support (agreed) but you would have at least some legal redress of the matter if your child was wearing rags and going to bed hungry at night.

Fellow Mongers, here's some info regarding international child care laws. This is from the US Dept. of State Office of Children's Issues website.

Call (202) 736-9090 for expert info. on the topic. Some of the forum's debate regarding DR child support is hilarious. You knew the risks before you had that FS, Papi!

Plus, how does the chica know you were back in the DR so she could call the cops unless you told her, or went back to the scene of the crime!

Now, here are some facts. (See "Enforcement of Foreign Judgements).

To Ford regardings how I know my son is taken care and the rest is just general info to all because I am suprised at how most men think dominicanas son cueros,
My son is under 2 years old and when I see him, he is always looking nice and is envy of the small town because he is so handsome and dressed way above everyone else, no tourists within 30 miles. She doesn't waste much money on herself, she supports the kid and lives with her mom and younger sister and she makes some money because she has hairdressing experience. She hates cueros (proper word to use in the DR for prostitutes though the noun: putas is understood as well but not commonly used by Dominicans as much as cueros) and is a good mom and when we are together and I drag her into an area like Boca Chica with hookers around, she goes off on them and treats them like scum.

I do think there is a difference between normal dominicanas that are just poor and like you and give it up because they like you and hope that maybe you might fall in love with them, girls that claim not to be cueros but are only doing it occasion and which I hate the worst because they are trying to deceive you, and straightforward prostitutes. Within 5 minutes of conversation of most dominicanas I can tell what category she falls in. Most Dominicanas outside of the tourist areas are very hardworking and will take serious offense if you offer them money and come on to them as prostitutes. You can tell by the yelling and her telling you to get the heck away from her, throwing the money in your face, etc. I have learned the hard way. Plus in rural areas, families are extremely close and though poor, you can suffer wrath of the family if you disrespect their kin in that manner.

Not trying to talk outside of prostitution, but most women in the DR are not prostitutes. Many just see the women around Sosua, Boca Chica, areas catering to tourists, and the brothels/clubs in the cities of Santiago and Santo Domingo. Most prostitutes are negras o morenas, often of Haitian background and are discriminated against by the blancos y indios. Yes, there is a color structure in the DR and talk to normal people and you will find that out. Most dominicans in the white/very close to white color won't get involved with individuals darker than them, especially near the Santiago Province. They have an expression: mejorando la raza (bettering the race) There are places in Santiago and Santo Domingo who won't let you enter if you are too dark, this usually doesn't apply to tourists. Very few men would have a chance with the young blanquitas of Santiago or any other young woman close to middle class, especially if they are blanquita, unless they were young and handsome and if you were rich and of good background would be a consideration as well.

Just one more note I read earlier regarding shorts,
Shorts can be worn everywhere in tourist areas but I only wear shorts on the beach. How many men have you seen in Santo Domingo or Santiago wearing shorts? NONE. Dominican men don't wear shorts, only on the beach, because it is equated with homosexuality and has been for years. A woman will be embarrassed to be seen with you, a normal one, if you want to go out in public wearing shorts. The resort people in the town don't care because I hate to say it, Sosua and Boca Chica and all the tourists areas draw the dregs of that country and Dominicans look down on those people. Just my two cents or three.

To Member #1553,

You add some good stuff to this and other "DR" boards, can I suggest that you consider to un-retire? I think I remember reading the events leading to your decision to stop posting re: the actions of a few a**hole mongers, I understood your decision, but you sound like a good guy and I think you add alot.

Thankfully, all monger-travelers are not jerks, although some I have met absolutely are.

Wu Warrior,
Most of that information is for custodial disputes and judgements obtained against you in the DR and you are living in the US or vs. versus is the way I understand it. But I would obtain legal counsel if you know that an order in the DR has been filed against you, because once you are back in that country, you are vulnerable and subject to their laws. It would be like escaping a child support order from my home state and residing in another state that doesn't enforce out of state child support orders, but once I travel back to my home state, I can be arrested for failure to pay child support. That is what I am saying. DR courts favor the mother in most aspects and I didn't take it that far, I was accused of being a father, I knew she wasn't a prostitute and came from a wholesome family so I wanted to do the right thing, if I make it, I will support it, I took the DNA test on my own accord, and obtained a reasonable settlement that was mutually agreed upon by our parties.

Ford,
I had a few months to cool down after what happened in Boca Chica and I still end up helping others when I am down in the DR anyways because I'm a nice guy, but hey, uninformed mongers spend way too much money and raise the prices up. But I am more careful now and don't give out personal info or let anyone know my normal girls or routines now. Mongering is supposed to be on the down low and going to my baby's mom while my kid was there and trying to hook up with her and then in retaliation told her all about what I did on the side was the lowest thing imaginable. I still hang in the south where most tourists are European and they are frugal and negotiating machines. After I get my beach time in Boca Chica and pay for some cheap companionship, I am off to the races with my normal girls from Santo Domingo to Santiago.

Rat at Judy's now

Landed yesterday, hit the Palace nice selection. Dolphin also had two new girls.

Last nite hooked up with my regular chica and we went to Caberete had a nice Surf and Turf for 10 bucks at the Pescador.

Came back to Sosua stopped by the Casino, very light action.

Went by High Caribe and it was closed. Headed to D'Latinos they had a 50 pesos cover charge. Light action and my chica wanted to go to DÇlassico. Nice new club. Very clean not as smokey as Latinos.

Funny thing seems like some folks that were working at Caribe now are at Latinos and some from Latinos are now at Classico. Oh well!!!

It raining like hell today. My chica just left. Seems she is headed to Western Union to pick up some dinero from some guys. LOL

Hey it is pretty cool, she was showing me some receipts, man they can rack in the dough!

Glad I got a freebie!

Not that many mongers in town should pick up tonight. Will be here to Monday then to Santo Domingo. Saturday going to Mao and Sunday MonteCristi.

Heading back down on April 28.

Member #1727 – girls in AI?

I stayed 3 times in Casa Marina (both, Reef and Beach). I liked the place, but my last impression was it might be going downhill a little bit.

It´s generally true, that chicas are not allowed in the AI´s and they are strict with that. Nevertheless I manged it 2 ways.

1. You can bring a girl to the “private” beach. Between the “Casa Marina” and “Sosua by the sea” there is a small path to the beach. At the beachend you´ll encounter a guard. Don´t worry, just walk on as you had done this for 100 times and see the reaction. If he does not approach you, fine - just go ahead. If he does, talk to him and express, you are only going to the beach and you know, that the rooms are off limits. I never paid a bribe and never was rejected. At the beach you can go to the bar where you have to pay your drinks, but we also had sunchairs and free drinks. Be honest and discrete and you will not be hassled (i.e. by the guys collecting the empty glasses). Only stay for some hours in the afternoon, don´t go to a restaurant and leave the same way you came. Most probably your girl will not be very relaxed and sticking next to you. I found it fun and we had shared an experience beside the parties at night.

2. Buying a bracelet. Before booking I emailed them and told them, that I´ld like to stay with my novia in the Casa Marina. I got a confirmation that it is possible; paid in advance one week, 50US per night. No trouble, worked fine in 2003. Maybe this was due to low season, 30% of the rooms were empty. During your stay I guess it will be difficult or impossible to “upgrade for a double room”. Anyway, who likes to pay more for the room than for the girl? I only did this, because I wanted to know her better.

Rental cars: although I already drove in a lot of countries I would not do this in DR. In case of an accident you are in big trouble – guilty or not. This already was mentioned in earlier posts.

1727, sorry if this to late for you but there are also other mongers; have fun,

S59

Hello to all,

I will be landing once again at the end of the month. I will most likely fly into Santiago and head into Sosua from there. I should be around for a few weeks of fun in the sun.

Will you be around?

Tampa Bukkake: Correct me if I'm wrong , but I take it that your regular chica is your girlfriend since she gives it to you for free. I'm just curious but if she is, doesn't it bother you that she's a working girl?

Tampabukkake

GPiper,

Not really. See I am no angel either. I have been with her for over a year, and when I say free, it really isn t all free. I always leave her fridge full take her out to dinners and leave her some money when I leave.

Now as far as her being a working girl, she does it out of necesidad! When I am not here.

We made a pact a long time ago, I would not send Western Union, and she would be faithful to me when I am here.

In the year, there was only one weekend when I was not able to be with her because she had a big $$$$$ guy in town. As a matter of fact when he left, and he left his chains and medals (still don t understand that one) she actually took me to dinner and drinks!!!!

All this talk about getting DR girls making money and babies. Told my buddy about it and he is curious to know if anyone walking by the Habana bar (across the street from D' Latinos) has noticed one of the girls pregnant.

Hi Smily59 (& everyone),

Just got back It was a great week. I think you are right about the bracelet. There were a lot of local people there. I was told it was the Easter weekend and was considered the beginning of the summer. I think the locals were there only for the weekend. Those people looks relatively well off (when comparing to others on the street).

Smily59, too bad I didn't know about the "small path" when I was there.

BTW, there were a lot of female tourists as well. So I think AI+a hotel like the Palace/Europa is the way to go. I didn't have to worry about the food/drinks and when I didn't feel like going out (e.g. when I was sick on the second day), I just stayed in the resort and relax. Of course, the Palace and venturing in the local bars were different & more exciting.

I did the last minute booking so the price (AI Hotel+flight) was excellent. But I had to pay extra for single supplement because I was the only one in the room.

One thing I have to tell everyone. Do you know or have you ever heard of "cat69.com" (it was featured on PlayboyTV)?

I was lucky enough to run into those Russian girls in a nightclub called the Voodoo Lounge in Sosua. The staff there told me the girls go there with their "lovers" from time to time. Regardless the Russian girls, I like this place. The staff are friendly. I think their customers are mostly tourists so don't expect to find local working girls there.

Those Russian girls are really hot! Now I will have to SAVE UP $$$ to go this AI Adult resort at least once in my lifetime. It's very expensive! So maybe in 2 or 3 years. :-(

I know it's way over-priced, but after seeing these girls in person.

Well, I'm going to learn Spanish (& maybe Russian) before I return to DR.

Thank you for everyone's advice in this forum!

One last thing. During my stay there, I learned the HIV scare in the US porn industry from CNN. That was quite shocking & really make me much less aggressive on getting women there. So I could only hope everyone here the best.

Please play it safe for you, the girls, your loved ones & all of us. Always use protection for your own sake! (To be honest, I am a bit worried even I always wear condoms and practice safe sex.)

Arrived for the 1st time in Santiago Airport 9:30 am. Went through immagration fast. then through customs my bag through x-ray machaine, guy ask for oney and I just kept going.Met a friend of mine & his novia who both live in NY at Aunts house & then off to a restaurant called Montazuma's, it was right across the street from the large statue. Good pina calada's but my chickin sandwich tasted like tuna. Then grabbed a taxi to Sosua for 900 pesos. This taxi driver took the senic mountain route which was very windy and at some points not very safe. Looked like the earth quake did alot of damage on parts of this road as there were parts you could go right off a cliff. It was interesting though to see this part of the Country as it will give you a different perspective.Got to the palace, about 4 girls hagin around and lots of rain. Headed right over to NY Shark bar and Lou arrived after picking up ******* at POP. 6pm Headed back to room for power nap. 1st stop that night was Latino disco Which you had to take a moto concho because the roads were so flooded. Latino was dead. Then took moto conco to High Carrib but couldn't even make there the water was so high so headed back to new disco clasico. about 1230 not too many girls , but plenty of tourist couples. about 1:30 am started to fill up with chicas. This new disco is very nice inside , very large bathroom unlike the latino. picked up a cute 23 year old can't remember her name & back to the palace for 3 hours . She agreed to 1300 pesos. She performed very well so gave her 1500, sent her on her way and off to bed. Next day off to Puerto Plata (Gran Ventana resort) stayed with chica I met in airport on last trip. Resot was very nice but one problem, hot water was off & on at times. Monday back to NY on 4:30 flight outa POP. I think the rain scared alot chicas away during my one night in Sosua

Friday April 16, 2004

Well I met Kwiz at JFK and we boarded the plane. There was a rain storm in DR so we circled for 20 minutes. I was picked up by Feo, Lou and my Novia in POP. Arrived at The Palace, converted money at Judy`s at 44.80 then had some pizza at Il Mulino.

Finished up there, shot over to M and M for first massage. They raised the price to 400 pesos. Thats all for now.

Went back to The Palace, met Weasal from NYC got my novia and went over to El Botin. A new restaurant that serves Mexican food.

Internet prices are now about 2 pesos a minute.

Saturday April 17, 2004
Started the day drinking coffee at Rockies then
I stopped by the new massage place by The Blue Dolphin and they had 4 chicas there and the prices were 500 or 700 pesos.

Two buddes came in and we headed over to El Boltin again then over to The Shark Bar for a bit .
Three more mongers checked into The Palace and we were all hanging while Soronji and another chica were topless in the Jaccuzzi.

Sunday April 18, 2004
Had lunch at PJs then saw Weasal walking and we hit M and M massage where they have 4 chicas working now. Hung around the Palace with the other mongers. Ester is back and she is working her skills as usual.
We all went to The Shark Bar where there was about 20 people hanging and shooting the shit.

I got 44 to the dollar on the street today.

Well I called Jesus to go to Puerto Plata and he said 1500 but he was busy so i got another taxi for 1800. We went to Crystals which had a dozen or more chicas and the new section was open. Brenda was there and all the other chicas seemed new to me. ELJ saw a chica and she wanted 5000 so he passed. We went across the street but it was raining out so it was dead. We headed over to El Boem and was quoted 4000 but Weasal saw one and I talked to her and she agreed on 3000 plus 200 for taxi until 10am. There were about 30 chicas there and it was crowded.
One of the guys hit his head so we wnt to the Hospital, my third visit since 2000 and he got stitched up by a doctor and we left.
All in all an interesting night out.

Monday April 19, 2004

It was raining most of the day and we hung around the Palace. I got out for a massage and found a place with a 21 year old Haitain that gave me a BJ as well. Massage was good for 400 pesos and BJ was an additional 500.

It stopped raining so I went to downtown Sosua around 10PM and there were plenty of chicas by the Merengau Bar and along the way there. One chica wanted 850 pesos for a few hours. I saw about 6 that I wanted, grabbed one for a BJ, my second of the day, went to her shack and was back at my hotel by 11PM.

Tuesday April 20, 2004

Just having my pot of coffee at Rockys updating my internet stuff.
Fantasy arrived today and 2 mongers left. Elj and myself hung at the beach again at The Shark Bar. It was raining off and on all day.

I hit the massage place again. 900 pesos for a rub and BJ. Excellante!!!

Elj, Soul my novia and myself hit El Boltin again. We had shrimp and the Mexican plates.

The peso was 44.40 at Judys.

Hey JDR,

Is it possible for you to pick up a couple bottles of brugal "SIGLO DE ORO" or "UNICO" while you are there. I sent out a post a while ago but no one seemed interested. I will pay you for the trouble($35 for the siglo and $60 for the unico) when I was there last the prices retail were $15 and $37. If you cant just put up a post saying you rather be screwing and I will under stand.

P.S. This also goes for any other mongers from the tri-state area. Dont worry about bringing too much back because no matter how much of those two types of BRUGAL you have I will buy it off you, cause you cant get that high quality out here in USA

Vagabond,

I found a couple of places where the girls gave a good massage and offered to finish with a BBBJ. My favorite place for this was Belkin Salon. Yes, that's right! It is a beauty salon in the front. Women will be getting haircuts and you will be behind a wall that doesn't go all the way up to the ceiling by the way so you can hear them talking and they can hear you if you get too loud! The girl I was there with did not ask for any extra money for the BBBJ. She just included it in with the massage. I did tip her a small amount and visited her a few times during my visit. I posted her picture and more details here a few weeks ago. She was not amazing looking, but OK and the BBBJ was pretty good. Considering that she didn't ask for ANY money for that, I'd say it was a great deal!

To all those who have never been, but are considering a visit, do yourself a favor and just do it! It is a great place. I had a god time, left with a smile on my face, and was making plans for a return visit the moment I left! Also, when you go, be sure to visit the Shark Bar. It is owned by two retired American guys from New York and they treated me great while I was there.

Good day all,

I need some help for a veteran monger but a newbie in the DR. I am looking for hotels, etc. And of course I am aware of the Palace, and have a little Knowledge of the Europa. What I was wondering if there were any other girl-friendly properties you guys would reccommend in the sosua area? Also, with the Palace and Europa... for those of you that have been in Costa Rica, are these places comparable with those hotels located in CR the Del Rey, Morazan, Presidente?

Also have any of you Dom Rep vets ever stayed at any of the condos' that you see listed for rent on different web pages or are they not too lady friendly.

Just a squirrel, gathering some nuts.

Thanks,

Great reports! I'm glad you had a great time. M&M is my favorite massage place as well. My favorite masseuse is Giselde. She is the older woman and makes me feel very relaxed. I didn't know I could feel that good without anything erotic! On my last massage there, she asked if I wanted two of them to massage me and I said hell yeah! It was for the same proce, RD$400 and I gave each a tip. It was great having two sets of hands on you.

Hey *******,
you should try to get the two girl massage also. Ask Giselde.

........ If you are a first time visitor to Sosua I recommend you stay at the Sosua Palace. John, the owner will make sure you enjoy your stay and there is always a solid, knowledgeable group of mongers around the bar area to show you the ropes!

Once you find your "sea legs" if you want to branch out alittle I recommend you try the Caribe Campo Club. It is very near the Sosua scene but yet just far enough to still give you a detached feel.

It has a great pool, good security, very stylish rooms and is guest friendly. You can find them at www.caribecampoclub.de and ask for Rino Mercuri. He is an affable Italian national who speaks 5 languages fluently.

Big Drive,

One more thing added to my last post. The Caribe Campo Club (as is true for many hotels on the north coast) is almost exclusively filled with German tourists. If this is a problem for you or you prefer to stay with Americanos than stick with the Palace.

In December I stayed with my novia at the Tropial Goleta Beach Club in Cabarete. Not guest friendly, but an awesome place and all-inclusive!! One problem I was the only non-German guest for the entire 80 rooms. Didn't bother me, but I can see where it might bother some.
Cheers.

Well there is a lot of massage places in Sosa, about 15 places, and about half of them gives "extra" services. My favorite place without, is M&M. Very good. I also liked the new Passion massage, and Figaro is also good, so is the one at the old internet cafe, down the road from the Sun and Moon. On the others it varies a bit depending on the masseuse. Ingrid's can be ok. I have heard the saloon next to Bora Bora is ok. Relax on the main street is ok, but no extras. At Olgas down the street from Europa, they give full service, and you can have 2 or 3 chicas if you want.
But the taste in massage is very individual, so at last you have to go around and find out for yourself what you like.

Just returned from a couple of days in Sosua. The town seems to be a bit more dangerous than in the past. I had my wallet stolen from a girl in the street who then took off on a motoconcho before I knew what hit me. The local Politur (special tourist police) were totally useless when I reported the theft to them.

That same evening, in Classico, I saw a guy get hit in the head (by a chica) with a bottle. He was bleeding profusely from his head, dripping blood throughout the bar. No one from the bar helped him. About an hour later, I saw him driving around on a motoconcho, still trying to find some medical help.

Sosua may be a decent place to get laid for under $15, but the place is becoming a bit of a dump and can be quite scary when things get out of hand.

Proceed with caution.

i arrived home from my boca chica trip. wow, what an experience. i did not start to appreciate the dominican republic until the last few days of my first trip. i understood how to handle things and armed with this knowledge made plans to go back. i had a free ticket and continental had availability for sunday. i had an interview back in the states on friday so after that i was free to go back. i made my reservation and flew ewr to pop on the afternoon of march 28th. i arrived in pop and once again the customs people called me over but this time searched my bag. nothing of interest and the agent feebly asked for a tip, a request which i ignored and continued walking out of the airport. i got a taxi from the airport for 17 dollars. i haggled a bit but the prices seemed set and i just wanted to get into town. i got into town and things seemed a bit different than boca chica. a lot more touristy and much more relaxed. i had the driver show me a few hotels he knew and i really did not like any of them for what they had to offer. i tipped him 3 bucks for his trouble and set off on foot with my bag and tried to find one myself. after about 1 hour of walking around i found a really nice hotel called the refugio. this hotel is not guest friendly “per se” but i had to make this bargain hotel work. it is run by this old white lady i believe from germany or somewhere about europe, not sure exactly.

i settle in and the room has a 27 inch tv with cable, stove with oven, aircon, fan, decent bathroom and a terrace over looking the olympic size pool all for $25 per night. “yeah, i can dig this” i am thinking. i laid in the bed for about an hour and set out for my evening at about 6pm just to explore. i walk around town and familiarize myself with the different bars, internet cafes, restaurants and telephone centers. this place is much more relaxed than boca chica and i could see why there are so many reports on the forums about this place. i stopped by a bar on the same street that most of the action is on and had a pina colada for 80 pesos. yeah! there was a few people there and i struck up a conversation with a white lady from italy. she had befriended a dominican male and left everything behind and was there with no job and living with this guy for about 2k pesos a month rent. she was about 40+ years old. i saw her boyfriend and he was this young 21 year old looking guy and i could not help but think if the situation were on my side with a female that age would she have been that enthusiastic to talk about it as if it were “so beautiful” and “we are in love”. i let her have her fun though, it’s all good from my perspective. the bar was run by some canadians and they were nice folk. there was a young german girl there working the bar and she was really cute. i am not into white women believe it or not (i am black) but i think that is because i travel and the white women who do attract me are from europe. so i strike up a convo with her and she seems very interested in talking to me. the conversation ends when i find out she is 17 years old. haha, can’t do that one.

i started talking to this girl at a pool hall/bar called the miami bar, she was about a 6 so i am smiling at everything else in there. once one latches on it is tough to be rude so i played nice guy. there was this fat dark skinned chica that was flirting with me in there along with some other 8-9s. i got out of there and eventually went to d’latinos where the same fat girl comes in and latches on to me. i did the polite thing but was polite for way too long. i mean chicas, security, everyone was looking at me like "dude what are you thinking?" the music was pumping, many 7s and 8s and about ten 9s. the fat girl was being all posessive and i danced with her but again i don't have the heart to just say "fuck off" ya know? finally she starts talking hotel and i am like "no possible, tu me amiga" (not possible, you are my friend) she looked like her dog just got run over. i have to get better at just stopping them at the starting line, i wasted her time and mine...

so i start dancing with this other girl, a 7, and she is all over me. it is like 3 am now. then this other pumping dark skinned chica starts staring at me. (they always do that, ignore you until you are with something). i looked at her closely and she has these c cup breasts, about 5’6”, and a pretty nice shape. so we make eye signals and she is motioning to the door, i motion "go first" and she hits the exit. i then tell the 7 i am dancin with that i have to go to the hotel "emergencia" and this chick held onto me like i was her last meal ticket of the century but i broke loose and went outside. we get out side and this chick is way too unstable. i tried to make a deal “hotel all night”. she said 1500 and i counter with 1k. she then writes on a tree with her finger no 1500 but i hold my ground. she is really acting strangely and she finally backed into a corner right next to the club where there is no lighting and she said “ok, lets do it here”. i looked at her like she was crazy and said "bye honey" . she was cute too, go figure. some are so agressive to the point of turn off. you can kind of tell when they will be a problem back in the room. so i head back in the club to get with the 7 again and this group of 8s and 9s walk out and i am like "whoa, there hold up mamas". they all flirt as they pass and the last one gave me a big ol hug. the last one was a cutie man! i ask "cuanto" (how much) and she says "dos mil pesos" (2000 about $47 us). i countered with "mil pesos, pemanecera a manana" (1000, until the morning) and she got this surprised look on her face. i said "ok, good bye”. she was like “where hotel”? three blocks honey!

deal sealed. we get about 10 steps and i stop her wheel her around and tounge her down right there in the street at 4am. this cannot be real! we get home and she immediately strips naked and then promptly lays down and falls asleep! she was pretty drunk though. her body is what bought her down from a solid 9 to 8 status. she was a bit jacked stomach and tits wise from her muchacha (uno anos, one year old) but no stretch marks just a bit of sag. after she fell asleep drunk, i was afraid she would throw up all over my bed. what is a *****monger to do? a *****monger is to wake her ass up! i was horny as shit, so i woke her up and had a very uninspired session but she was just great to look down at while pumping away. she left at 10:30 the next morning and i got a couple of pitctures of her on the street. tip, buy a disposable camera in the states or where ever your are from, you will get raped in the dr!

Hi guys!

I have a very important questions about Sosua hotels.

I plan to go there for 1.5 month by the end of summer and I need the internet access using my laptop somewhere there. So the question is:

Is there any girls friendly hotels which provide adsl interet access in the rooms (I mean to use my own laptop to access to internet). I stay before Europe and Voramar, but they dont have it. May be somebody can recommend any appartments to rent?

Does any internet cafes etc. allow to use own computers to connect internet (I have to use my own laptop to bring there and use).

Thanks in advance,

Andy

This is a good example of why it is better to monger in at least a small group.By the way, Sosua was always like this!Furthermore I hear guys saying they short changed streetrats and a day later get hit with bottles.

If you don't cause trouble and keep your wits about you (such as keeping your money hidden, split, and safe), you should be fine most of the time. That isn't saying you'll never have any problems, but you can take steps to protect yourself. Criminals usually look for what they consider to be an easy mark. Not that Dick for Brains was, but I'm just saying that this is usually the case. You need to act as though you are confident and in control (not drunk or acting otherwise stupid). That guy that got a bottle busted over his head might have had it coming to him. Who knows?

It took me a couple of days before the culture shock settled down a bit and I was better able to appreicate Sosua. To be honest with you, my first reaction was "what a dump." But then it stopped raining, I went to the beach for a swim and a look at the topless European hotties, had a relaxing, professional massage at M&M, had a nice meal, and enjoyed some quality time with a sweet chica. In no time at all, I was feeling great.

Yes, I did get a little nervous walking alone at 2am, but I feel that way in NYC too. You should be sure to get out in the day and get to know the town so you can know where you are going. Also, if walking on the dark streets make you nervous, you can take a moto from your hotel to anywhere you want to go.

I know everyone sees the world differently, but for me it was a great place to relax and have some fun. I was there a week and wasn't hassled by anyone. I can't wait to return!

If you have never been to DR, feel free to PM me with your questions. I had a million questions before I went and several people here helped me.

This is way I prefer Blackbeards. It only cost 10% more to go first class. Blackbeards is in a gated community with security. I think it is much safer, especially if you like to tip a few adult beverages.

I can confirm Nefarious' reports about Belkin salon. The chica is very friendly and will provide bareback after a decent (not great) massage. I wasn't up for it at the time and I didn't have a condom on me, but I believe that she offered a rear entrance ("cola").

Last year at the same salon with a different masseuse, I was provided with FS after the massage though I don't believe this was offered this year (my Spanish isn't that great and w/o a condom on me, I wasn't all that interested in pursuing the full extent of the offer beyond what I was willing to do bareback.)

The masseuse, as Nefarious reports, is not all that pretty but is fairly friendly.

Hell, how can you complain about a half hour massage and bbbj for under $10?

Just curious what other mongers were paying for TLN out of Classico and Latina? I was averaging around 900 pesos. Does this sound about right?

Hey last week there was a fracas involving two chicas, cousins. Seems one accused the other of telling her boyfriend about the her screwing around while he was sending her money. They fought on the steps fell to the bottom and one picked up a tree branch and cut the others face, one went to jail.

This is my first post in this forum and it may be lengthy but i hope this post will inform a lot of people about Sosua.

I have been going to Sosua for a couple of years now and all I can say is that the town has changed and the people also has changed. Starting from the women and right down to the hotel where you stay. I went with a friend whom I always go with every year and he also seen the change.

The abundance of women in Sosua has grown. With the growth they too seem to have a different frame of mind. The women seemed to have been spoiled and think they can get away and get over with everyone!

The Hotel Europa is the worse hotel to be in. On our last night there my friend and I went out for dinner at 8:00pm and then to the new "Disco". We got back at around 2:00am. He was on the second floor and I was on the first. After a few minutes I get a knock on my door and my friend tells me that his luggage is missing! This was from the 2nd floor of the Europa! How can this happen when there is an armed security guard on the premises? Well the persons (yes I do believe it had to be more than one) scaled the balconies and pryed open the screen door. Diego (owner of the hotel) came within a few minutes, after my friend yelled at the receptionist, because after explaining to her that my friend just got robbed she says "What do you want me to do?" Umm try calling the police and the owner! Diego in turn tried to say to my friend well you didn't lock your screen door! but the lock was broken! WTF? Regardless if the door was locked or not someone still got into the hotel. We checked the balcony and saw foot prints going across each balcony. In any case, we recovered his luggage at the end of the balcony where it was cut open and his clothes all over the place. A few of his clothes was missing.

The following day we are about to head to the airport. The police was there to "investigate". But in order for him to do that he wanted a tip for coming on a Sunday and for filing the police report. The police wanted to know every "chica" that came to visit him because they are all suspects! umm I don't know about you guys but I can not see any of those chicas scaling the 2nd floor balcony of the hotel. He packed the night before so his luggage has got to weigh more than the chicas.. Diego can never accept that his hotel sucks and puts the blame on everyone else. Another guy was also robbed on the same floor and Diego said he didn't believe him. He was also staying on the 2nd floor. Diego asked my friend the night before to list all the things missing so his insurance can cover the loss goods. The next day his story changed, he asked my friend if he has insurance so that his insurance can cover the loss. Since my friend did not pay the cop Diego said he would do anything for him! This is a not a good way to treat a long time customers who goes there at LEAST 3 times a year! To add more, there was a young lady from Germany that stayed next room from my friend. God forbid he succeeded breaking into her room, who knows what would have happened! And just an fyi they do keep records of the chicas that you take in! If you guys want to take the same risks as we did then more power to you! Hotel Europa is definately not the place to stay in.

I don't know about you guys but I will never stay at Europa again! or stay in Sosua for that matter! it seems like everyone there are all mafiosos!

Buracho,

I would agree with you that Sosua has changed for the worse over the last year and a half. I don't think I will be returning there either.

Shit happens. But when shit happens in Sosua, nobody gives a crap. The local police are totally worthless. In an emergency, I don't think you can get medical help.

Lucky for me, I moved out of Europa after my first few days. I was up on the 2nd floor and could easily have been the victim of these thefts. I didn't feel unsafe there, but rather just felt that I wasn't in the best of places for the money. I moved over to Club Residencial a few blocks away on Calisante. It was a bit nicer, and was gated.

This last trip radically changed my view of the town. It was good while it lasted. I now believe that it is time to move on.

Buracho, I found your post interesting but maybe if you were like me and spent most of your trip "borracho" these things wouldn't bother you so much. ;)

Go to Guatemala or El Salvador or Honduras and let me know if you can find medical help that's worth much or a police officer who really gives a damn about a tourists complaint. (The only difference is that when I was in Honduars the police were carrying around machine guns and made sure I had secured a ride from the airport) I think the problems that you indicated are endemic all over Latin America, and certainly all over the DR.

I believe it was board member Dotado who posted the well-known Dominican expression, "La Capital es capital, y todo lo otro es monte!" The Capital (Santo Domingo) is where the money is, everywhere else is the wilds.

Outside of the Capital city everywhere else in this country is very 3rd world, always was always will be. Just one travelers opinion.

Cheers

hey ford, no doubt about that. i've been to so many places down there (c.a.) where some peeps have never seen a "tourist" who if they would have ,the tourist would have been the purist anyway and nowhere to cry or scream for help. oh, in some of the places best leave your pants around your ankles or open the fly only ,cause some of those dirt floor , blankets for walls seperating the beds ,no doors .. dogs coming and goin type places and the police aren't the only ones carrying . the dr seems perfectly safe . as far as some dude gettin hit in the head, ( i was attacked twice in honduras) . and as for the luggage ,to third world peeps more luggage = $$$$$. basically with all that stuff you could be labeled as a cash cow ! travel lite . take only what is used to monger with. hey ford its about time for a beer bro !

Ford y Maqiuna,

I think it's useful for the more casual monger to understand that a trip to the DR is not quite like a drive to the local AMP. While it may seem safe almost 100% of the time, it really is not. Being aware of this and reporting on the dangers accurately, will ensure that future mongers have more of their guards up when travelling around.

For example after having read Buracho's report of the Europa, perhaps people will not leave their room with only the screen door between their possessions and the outside world. After hearing of the thefts, one would hope that the normal response would be to lock all doors when leaving.

I for one, never having had any trouble in Sosua before, didn't take the time upon arriving, of leaving all of my things in my safe. I unnecessarily lost one of my credit cards and my drivers license along with the $30 in my wallet. This easily could have been averted had I taken my usual precautionary steps upon arrival.

The feeling of security is illusory. Take particular attention of walking down the dark streets when the electicity goes out (as it often does.)

Again, I see no point of proving your machismo by belittling cautionary tales. These reports could possibly help out a monger some day by preventing unnecessary headaches. Who knows, the averted theft might even be yours.

Hey DfB,

I didn't claim machismo in my post, I claimed to be a 12 step-program alcoholic! ;) I would never, however assume that I have US type safety anywhere in Latin America (incl. the DR) and neither should anyone else, this was my point.

BTW, has anyone been monitoring the election? I understand that Hipolito Mejia is trailing by better than 20% of likely voters to former president Leonel Fernandez. My question is, how is Mejia and his cronies and his considerable assets and connections going to swallow this one? I hope Fernandez wins and I hope the country maintains order afterwards.

The peso is about 47 RDP to 1 USD right now, I think a Fernandez victory will knock it down under 40-1 again. Still good for us travelers and at least a little better for the Dominican people.

Thanks for the post! DFB thank you for understanding my post! As I stated on the first paragraph of my post it was to "inform" future travelers. I wasn't the one who got robbed so I didn't have to say anything but felt the need to help out people that are going to travel to DR specially Sosua.

Ford- it's just a s/n so I'm not always drunk well maybe half of the day when I'm in DR, lol

And another point to my post was to say that the Europa sucks! I'm sure if that were to happen elsewhere the management would have done anything to try accommodate my friend instead of getting him more aggrevated by saying why don't you report it to your insurance company when he said the hotel's insurance will cover for his loss?

I have been doing some catching up on here this morning. It seems that some of you have the right attitude and some do not when it comes to travelling to Sosua. Unfortunately, many Americans feel that the world should revolve around the United States and everyone else should adapt to our way of thinking. This is where many American travelers enter the DR with the wrong mindset. When you realize that you are in a third world, lawless country where 90% of the country is dirt poor and everyone is corrupt, you have to realize that you cannot behave as if you are in the United States. To the guy who had is hotel room ransacked in the Eurpoa, I have three words..."Shame On You!" Shame on you for not going striaght to the front desk after you checked in to tell them you wanted another room with a screen door that locks. The door didn't lock and you just assumed the hotel security would do their job. Well your shit got stolen and it's YOUR fault that you let it happen. Nobody elses. And then you demand a police report etc... You are not in Ohio or somewhere where you pay taxes and the civil servents work for you. You are in the DR where, if you [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) off the police, they will throw your ass in jail, and then you have to figure out how the hell you are going to get out.

To all the guys that walk atround flashing money and getting drunk and acting like idiots, Shame on YOU when you get taken advantage of or robbed or hit over the head with a bottle. Do you think that because you are American and have money in your pocket that eveyone should fall at your feel and worship the ground you walk on?

You have to use your head in the DR, treat people with the respect you would like to be treated with and keep a close eye on your valuables and yourself. Don't let your guard down and have fun. In the DR, you are on your own.

Sosua Doctor,

Right on the mark. I stayed at the Europa from 4/15 to 4/25, and had no problems at all. I have had more encounters in one day on the streets of San Jose, CR, with questionable people and thiefs, than I did during my entire stay in Sosua. I never felt I was being cased by the locals.

The only thing that is a pain in the ass are the Moto drivers and the vendors at the beach. Sometimes you have the emphasize the word "no", with the words " leave me the fuck alone".

Just my two cents

Sure it can happen anywhere. Anytime you travel to a third world country you are taking risks. You are no longer under the protective umbrella of the United States. I shake my head when I hear people say, " why is the DR like this. Why don't they do things this way, like we do in the United States?" It is because you are not in the United States. You are in a third world country.

well another short stay completed. same thing at pop airport the the lugage inspectors calling me over to their line , i put my luggage on top of the table and he asked me for $5 for a presidente. after feeling the outside of my luggage for 2 minutes i was on my way to the palace. don't give these shit.

it took 50 minutes to get to the palace which normally takes 10 minutes becuse there was a presidential rally along the whole route and the cars were backed up to no end. i kinda enjoyed it since a had a grande cold presidente in hand. my taxi driver on the other hand wasn't so happy. i thought he was gonna either kill me or someone. he spent more time driving on the left side of the road than the right.i get to the palace and greated by john , get my key and he sends one of the girls to my room with a six pack of cold presidente's.i unpack & head right to the beach #66 ny shark.lou was there along with some other guys from ny.perfect weather unlike the last trip which was non stop rain.also stoped by another stall which had about 5 girls in it. i think it was called burger car or somthing run by a dominican guy. i go back to the room take a power nap and off to 4 roses/ domino bar which is a 3 min walk from the palace. i've seen these 2 bars more croweded in january but there was still about 12- 15 girls between the 2 bars. however the domino bar didn't put on the little shows with the girls in the skimmpy outfits this time. just dj music. word was out that the high carib disco was closed so it was off to latino club. not too many people and maybe 8 -10 girls. hung out there for an hour to see if anything new would come in. headed across the street to clasico disco. 1am and packed with broads!!! this place is nice. but whois that guy or women that sits in the mens room??? i can't concentrate on peeing with that thing in there. took chicas outa there all 3 nights. and outs the 3 there are about 7 more i still want in there!!! lots of energy in this place and its the happening stop for now. i still haven't hit the car wash but guy was telling me its good on sat/sun night when they get the bands. last night had a cute 20 year old and her friend who was kinda cute just too tall for me wanted to know if she can sleep in the room too.no problem for me she took the sofa.i though she was sleepin as i was doing my thing with her friend and sure enough she was watching everything.wonderful.i thought about asking her to join us in bed but i could not remeber if she said it was her amiago or prima so i left it alone. oh yeah i had pj's steak house that night after the disco & bad news in the morning, i'll spare you the details.

scams! here we go again.one night used the banco popular atm which is more secluded area,. moto concho took me over. got my money , took my card and sure enough here comes the fucking broad "papi papi"! i'm already drunk as a skunk but i'm aware of whats to come.her hands go right for my pockets , i grab her by both wrists , turn her around and put my foot up her ass. i'm thinking maybe the moto concho guy is maybe in on this but he wasn't . he pushed her outs the way too. these moto concho guys are good. they are just trying to make a couple of bucks giving rides. all in all a great trip & i love the new clasico disco.

i've been reading posts on wsg.org about people getting their shit stolen at the europa hotel. i've never stayed there so i can't report on that. but i can tell you i've stayed at the sosua palace at least 5 times and never had a theft problem. either john or luca are always downstairs by the pool and that is the only way to get in. even at 4am when i was using the key to enter the pool area , luca got up to see who it was and to make sure everything was ok.

Nice report. I am heading down to the DR next week and will spend a few nights in Sosua. What is the Classico Dicso? Is that the old Merengue bar? When I was last in Sosua, ( early March), they were re-doing the Merengue bar and it was closed.

I know I am replying to an old post but this is not true. "Mafioso" can be used many ways. Listen to the way they say it. It can be a term of affection or a call for the police. 80% of the women who know me call me that.

To SosuaDoctor,

Yes the new Clasico Disco is right above the Merengue bar pushed toward the back. There is a staircase from the front of the Meregue bar that leads up to the disco. Very modern , good sound system. You would expect to pay $20 cover to get into a club like this in NYC. Apparently this new disco has put the High Carib outa buisness & from what I could tell last week, it is putting a damper on the Latino club.

update on europa break in!

i don't think another will happaen any time soon.

arrived on thursday afternoon and checked into the europa. walked the beach and hit the regular bars. the lost gringo and the shark bar. took my favorite novia to dinner then went to the room for some early evening play. as we are leaving we hear this gunshot by the pool area. seems diego hired undercover security guards. anyway there was this guy breaking into one of the rooms and this guard unloads his shotgun into the guys leg. out of nowhere appear four other guards and they drag this guy to the pool area where they beat this guy senseless! they then drag him into the lobby and as the guy in laying there in a pool of blood, the sosua's finest show up and beat him some more!

twenty minutes later the ambulance shows up, well first it passes the hotel (um guess they didn t see all the cops) then they take there time in loading this guy in. off it speeds away towards the high caribe, three minutes later we see it coming back going out of town. guess they forgot how to get to puerto plata!

Update on bars!

High Caribe closed for some remodelling.

DLatino is trying to charge a cover, they are hurting.

DClassico is the happening place after the gunfight (see previous report) my novia and I went there and danced to Bachata. We closed the place then over to PJ s for grub.

Lost Gringo Bar #10 A nice distraction. First bar on the beach, the bartenders there are cute.

The Shark Bar Lou thows a great party.

Four Roses always a fair number of chicas awaiting.

Drink responsibly when you are down here. Remember the sun and Brugal make one hell of a mix!

Wow! This is my second weekend, and am looking to coming back next week. Got a nice AA SuperSaver deal.

Can anyone tell me what the "Sousa by the Sea" is like? Are the rooms/facilities nice? I am trying to plan a 2 week vacation, one week with my Dad and one week on my own. My dad is not much of a monger, so for the first week I would like somewhere on the nicer side, but still in Sosua. I can get a really great package that includes an oceanfront suite in this hotel. Anyone know it?

Thanks in advance!

I stayed Sosua by the sea my last trip. This is good deal to stay with dad/wife or somebody else. This is all inclusive, but small hotel with own small beach (next to Casa Marina) and with one swimming pool. Rooms/facilities was good and I stayed on the 3rd floor with pool and ocean view both.

No chicas friendly!

You don't need to spend time in chica searching. Chicas will find you by themselves.

I have to disagree DFB:

I have walked thru this area at night and never had any problems. I am 6'4" 250lbs but that means nothing if a group of thugs approach you with weapons. I think it is all in the way you carry yourself. Walk with confidence and you will be fine.

How far is Sousa from Puerto Platta? That is where air fare deals are best for me unless someone else can send me a link for a 3 night stay including airfare hotel and meals for 279+tax. Seems like Sousa is the best place to go.

I have been through Charmicos on numerous occasions during daytime and in early evening as the girl I picked up lived there and wanted to go back every so often to change. Even though the place is a bit of a shanty town, I never sensed any aggresivity or uneasiness. Quite the contrary. Charamico is safe as long as you don t act like a jerk!

Drink responsibly when you are down here. Remember the sun and Brugal make one hell of a mix!

I was down on the last week of April here was this group of guys drinking at a beach bar, Tequilla and 151 shots. One got so drunk that he kept saying that all Dominican girls were "Cuero" He tried to pick up one of the bartenders, WHAT A MISTAKE! The girls husband was there! She doesn t fool around. This Dominican was ready to beat the crap out of the guy. The shots made him so fucked up, he actually started crying! I mean tears and all! Now there are a group of Dominicans awaiting him. This would be a classic example of someone who should not go to Charamico.

Funny thing is this guys western union novia was supposedly in school that afternoon (suprise she was turning a trick with one of his friends)

Drink responsible! Don t abuse the women and don t make us look like ugly Americans. Go down there enjoy yourself !

Hello All,

Today (05/16) I proposed a new section to this forum entitled "Living in The Dominican Republic". Below I attached a copy of the proposal that I placed under the forum section "Suggest New Topics Here". Anyone who thinks this is a good idea, I would appreciate it if you would also let your opinion be heard and send a mesage to Jackson seconding my idea.
Thank You.

***Hey Jackson,

I would like to propose a new section called "Living in the Dominican Republic"

You have sections called Living in Argentina, Living in Brazil and Living in Peru under the respective country boards and these sections have become quite popular, and have resulted in many informative discussions and spirited exchanges.

I think a section entitled "Living in the Dominican Republic" would be a good place to post information on house prices, new construction, long-term rentals/leases, monthly living expenses etc. and give those of us who have entertained the idea of moving to the DR an appropriate forum for the exchange of ideas and opinions.
Thank you.
Cheers,

Hello to all.

I have been viewing this site off and on for a long time now, however this is my first entry.

I've dabbled in the local desserts in several Asian and European countries but the Domincan Republic is by far the sweetest.

Although I was by myself on the trip I still had a blast. Every day was golf followed by sun, fun, rum and cum. You can't beat that!

I've tried to get a few of my friends together for a trip but you know how that can be...

Any lone travellers planning an upcoming trip?

Regards,

Florida Mark

Originally I was going to visit Sousa in March but work got in the way and I had to put the holliday off. I am now working on my schedule and have booked two weeks off at Xmas. How is the weather in the DR that time of year? I know very little of the Carribean so any and all info would be helpful. Clothes etc that I will need in December would be good. Also, how is the Chica action then? Will the beach bars be open? Can you get turkey Xmas day? If not, how about pussy?? Both taste good, one makes better sandwiches.

...... the forecast for your trip is calling for rain, heavy at times and frequent. :( Generally speaking, there are two seasons in the Caribbean and in Central America - the summer (verano) which is hot and dry and the winter (invierno) which is hot and wet.

When I was down on the "north coast" last December it rained everyday. Not all day mind you, but everyday. The mornings are generally warm and pleasant, followed by rain, then overcast drizzle, then followed by more rain. Indoor activities are at there peak though. My novia told me that because of the weather more children are born in September than in any other month!:) (seriously)

Yes, you can certainly get turkey on Christmas day, and all the stores especially the bars are open (what else do you do in the rain!)

Now that I answered a question for you maybe you can answer something for me. Which makes the better sandwich? ;)

I'll have to respectfully disagree with Ford's assessment of the weather patterns and will offer some data to back up my position.

The daytime averages in the DR are fairly consistent throughout the year. It ranges from an average low of 85 degs in Jan, up to 89 degs in Jul and August. The winter evenings are a bit cooler (high 60's) in jan vs low 70's in summer. As he mentioned, it's always hot, and not an appreciable difference there.

There is, however, a BIG difference in the precipitation. The summer averages are about 6 inches of rain per month during the summer (May through Oct). Then, it dries out during the winter: precipitation drops to less than 2 inches per mnth from December through March. You will get , on average, three times as much rain during the summer.

Ford, I don't dispute that you may have experienced a particularly rainy December, but please be aware that this was an aberration. For the purposes of vacation planning, the best weather is during the winter.

Next question.

I was going to stay at the Palace. Seems like a nice place but I was surprised to find out it does not have either a bar or a resturant. I dont always want to go for a walk to have either a beer or a coffee. Which hotels will fit the following bill, decent rooms, bar, resturant, central location and chica friendly.

Ford,

They both tase good. But one you dont get sick of after the second week of left overs and if prepared right is always moist. You never need condiments to suplement the taste, although that is a personal taste thing.

Rocky,

The Palace does have a bar. Also when the bar is not attended there is an honor system. John is a great host.

As far as a restaurant, well for 20 pesos a moto will go get the food for you. Or just walk up to the corner get a half chicken with yuca for 80 pesos. There are always a group of guys there willing to get together to go get something to eat.

Or better yet, EAT AT THE Y!

I have finally visited the wonderful place called Sosua/Puerto Plata and let me just say that it is everything it was hyped up to be and more. Thank you everyone especially Jimmy for all the relevant information it proved invaluable. I will try and write a long descriptive report.

Due to the old ball and chain I could only get away for about 10-12 hours for one evening. So having some info from this board in my head, a lot of money in my pocket and a desire for pussy I set off from my all inclusive resort to find trouble.

I first headed out on foot around noon and was approached by a moto driver. With my limited knowledge of spanish (about 50 words tops) I asked him about several places. I was told the Caribe club was closed down and I told him I wanted to go to the Sosua palace and to Blackbeards Resort after that. He did not know where either place was. We even stopped at 2-3 nice places to ask people there and even they had not heard of either one. It was my sloppiness however not to take a map with me. So we stopped by the Four Roses bar and there were about 7-8 mostly very light or mexican looking chicsas there begging you for action. The prettiest one was the bartender and she had a big cameltoe showing through her pants which made me want her a bit more. I took down only 2 beers at the Four Roses and moved on to greener pastures. Stopped at some other bar about a mile away and saw about 4-5 Europeans there and about 6 chicas. A lot of them looked very very young so I didnt touch and the ones that really liked me was busy trying to ask me to pay them 2500 pesos for a 20 minute massage. I talked one down to 1000 pesos for an hour, then told her I'd pass.

My driver told me that he knew where we could find some women, so we headed down to Sosua Beach, there I saw a beautiful Amazon goddess who spoke great English. She rubbed my head, kissed my cheek and rubbed on my biceps. She was crazy over me and I soon found out why, she wanted me to buy some presidentes from her hut. : -(Anyway after that I saw a beautiful rap video type chica in a tight lil miniskirt smiling at me. She said she was 23. I told her how beautiful she was and she smiled, I played in my hair and my moto did all the talking for me. After another couple of beers we left to go back to the city. In the rush I missed apparently the news that she was down and wanted me to come back and pick her up at 7 from the beach and bring her back to my hotel. Since the resort I was staying at had a NO GUEST policy and the ball and chain was there anyway, I had to find another place to stay. I recollected some of the places on the board and told him to take me there.

The place turned out to be better than my damn resort and my resort was great! Cleaner, prettier and only $25 US per night. I will definitely be staying there next time. Anyway my moto and I went to pick her up and the 3 of us rode back to the hotel. Soon as we got into the room she stripped and started kissing all over me. Moved on to a BBBJ which was pretty good and on to some rough hot humping. We went at it for a good hour til she got tired, at which point we went to take a shower and then she was ready to go home. I asked her did she want any dinero. She said she could care less either way so I gave her about 400 to take home and she accepted that seeing she was not a *****. She seemed pleased.

When I came out of my hotel about 10 minutes later, this beautiful Jenifer Lopez chica was standing there. She walked straight up to me, asked me was I staying there and could she accompany me back to my room. I said sure. I barely got to the street before I was heading right back upstairs. Viva la Dominica Republica. She wanted 3000, I told her I'd give her 1000 tops and after 10 minutes of her insisting she was worht more she agree to the one mil. (Thanks to all you board members who insisted that it can be gotten for 1000 you saved me a lot) She was very very sexy and had a beautiful body. She started with the BBBJ and then we moved on to various other positions, she was also not very large inside so I was really killing her and she was moaning very loudly. After about 40 minutes she was beat. So I told her she can just suck my dick until I nutted. She gave great outstanding, stupendous head for another 20 then I gave her 1100 and put her out.

Surprisingly my moto was outside waiting for me in the rain. We went around to like 4 different bars. One of which I believe was mentioned on here. There I was approached by about 5 women and told them no thanks as they all seemed too desperate. These two girls who were standing together kept hitting on me, but I told them I didnt one them unless I could have them both. She told me 3000 mil each. I fell out laughing and my moto and I took off for the next bar. I went to the casino instead and that was the absolute worse casino I have ever seen. Craps table broken (how do you break a Craps table? ) about 24 slot machines, 2 tables and only 5 people inside, we left and went to another bar not far from the casino. There again I saw the two chicas together a tall ebony and her friend a latina. Again she offerred me two for one for 3000 each. After about 25 minutes of haggling 1500 each was decided and we left to go back to the hotel.

This time at the hotel I got stopped by the security guard because I had two chicas and had to pay a fucking 15. 00 for the extra girl to come to my room at the same time. Fuck! So when I got to the room my worse nightmare was realized, only one rubber left. I made both of them sucky sucky and then decided to hump the latina and then moved on to the ebony. She was not happy at the thought of a used condom so she got a wash cloth and wiped it off and then in I went. She was extremely tight and complained the whole time. Even though I have a average penis for US I thought, I guess I must be huge by D R standards. So back to the latina and she was making faces I never saw any women make. Then I noticed when she was on top that when I squeezed the nipples there was milk. So I told the black girl to beat it and stayed with the latina. All in all I had an excellent time in Sosua/Puerto Plata. My driver wanted 1500 pesos, but I gave him 1000 +5US for basically being my personal driver, negotiator and drinking buddy for 12 straight hours. I don't know whether or not it was too much. All in all, I humped 4 beautiful girls in one day for roughly a hundred dollars.

My followup questions though are what do you need to rent a moto for the day? regular driving license or motorcyle license? How much does it run? Where is the Sosua Palace? How come tour operators tell you your resort is in Puerto plata when it really is in Sosua? Regardless of the exchange rate has pussy stayed at a constant 1000 pesos? What unknown places did I miss? Is there a cheap way to get to Puerto Plata from Sosua? I don't want to pay $25 on the moto and ride 20 miles with no helmet on. What other cities in D R are as easy and effortless as Sosua?

Hi Gang,

I have been to the DR once about a year ago with the ball and chain had a great time for the most part. I was able to get away for about an hour to monger. At one point and found a nice Chica and did her 4 20.00 for st, very youg and sweet GFM.

After reading all of the great stories involving Sosua I am very determined to find a way to get away for a week so I may continue my mongering adventures.

What I am looking for is others my situation married and stuck at home and looking for an excause to vanish on say a hunting trip for a week or something like that.

If anyone is interesting in setting something up let me know could be a good excause to get out of the house for some mongering in Sousa.

Thanks

Hello,

A good excuse would depend on where you live.

I live in nyc, all my married buddies tell there wives this: YOUR GOING ON A FISHING TRIP TO FLORIDA, its really cheap from Florida to DR. That's why I say it depends on where you live, from NYC to florida is sometimes cheap & a seperate ticket to POP, depending on time of year comes out to be the same amount if I went straight from NYC. It's just a matter of getting the timing right with the flights.

Two things to worry about:

Stamp on passport

Question? Does anyone know if you can still enter DR with a birth certificate & drivers license? That would eliminate stamp on passport.

What if she wants to call you? You can talk, but she cannot call you back.

See you there real soon

Just back from a few days in Sosua. As in the past all the trips get better. It did rain but stay at the Palace, the girls and John help with everything was above the norm. If you are anyplace it rains for a few day you want to be at the palace. Each day several new girls came to add to the days activities. New girls can't remember names were hot, playful and all aroung fun. Few girls came bye from Puerto Plata and SD. Can't remember blondes name just wanted to please. Palace bar is stocked and the girl tender is a lot of fun added alot to the afternoons and evening. Place was full, girls got the word out and everyone had a good time. John, luca, bar tender, girls (over a dozen girls) and the follow partiers great time. Thanks

Estoy Negro,

You can get into the country with a drivers license and birth certificate, but be prepared to wait abit longer as customs confirm your identity and purpose of your trip. As far as communicating with your lady back home, get a sprint pcs (GSM) cell phone. The coverage area and signal throughout the island is excellent. She can call you directly without dialing an international country code, and you will be able to return the call to her without her having any knowledge that you're out of the country.

Good luck

I was in Sosua a week ago. I am not going into a long report but the girls are usually looking for 1,500 pesos these days. A few asked for more. The most I paid was 1,000 and that was only once. I also gave two girls 1,500 to split after I did them both at the same time. They didn't quote me a price beforehand but I knew they wanted something and it was really good so they got 750 pesos each. I paid most of the rest of the girls 500 pesos. There are plenty of girls and it's a buyers market for sure. Don't be foolish. You just have to haggle a little bit.
