I published in the old guide some details about Belgium, check out the archives, much of it is still true.
Roadside bars in the country side. well boys forget it, nearly no action there. Well sometimes there is good action to be found but that is not visible from the street side. So unless you know the address for good action and you have been refered by a regular patron there don't bother.

You should ask openly beforehand. Sometimes they'll say something unclear such as "the girl will be with you". Id say becarefull...Thanks, that's the kind of thing I'd like to avoid. If I wanted to spend 100 Euro I'd head someplace where I can get more *bang* for my buck. I think such scams are pretty widespread and they get a boost from laws governing prostitution. Those laws are always restrictive and wherever prostitution is illegal champagne scams are not. In other words a girl or a manager will never be prosecuted for scamming a client while they may get prosecuted for selling sex if they're not allowed to do so.
One thing to look out for is whether the district you are in is one that has the reputation of being a prostitution area. If not, beware. Scams may be the only thing that those place are allowed to deal in.
My tip: save your money and blow it a plane ticket and a sex-holiday somewhere.

I don't think leguiderose.net can claim to be a better guide, as it's limited mainly to escort. In fact, I didn't made any good from info on leguiderose.net forum, while those on dialogueslib.be helped me out more than a couple of times when I visited Belgium and Poland.
If Jim Quince is serious about his statement, he should PM the evidence to Ceasar (or to Jose Beauvit if Ceasar is the culpit, which I doubt very much), and tell them which moderator he's talking about, rather than making unsubstantiated accusation on a public forum. I will be in Belgium during the last weekend of August / first week of September. It looks like the 4 cities I will be visiting are Melle, Michelen, Brugge, and Inglemunster. In a previous trip to Belgium I stayed in Brussels but was unaware of their RLD until my final night and was unable to break away from my travel group. Can anybody tell me if there are any RLD's in these 4 cities? If not, are there any 'adult entertainment' establishments for the 'hobbyists'? All help is appreciated!

I got the final trip information and will also be visiting Brussels. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to visit the RLD in, both, Brussels and Gent.
In researching Brussels over the last few days, I have read about a place called "5th Avenue Pub". Are you aware of this location? Are you aware of any similar locations in Brussels or any of the other locations I will be visiting?
In regards to the "private girls" or "apartment girls", I do not speak any additional languages. Are you aware of any resources in English (perhaps online) where I could "pre shop"?

A lot of clubs and private girls restarted last Monday 8th of June.
