First the warnings.
There are a lot of (strip)clubs etc in antwerpen.

I avoided any dodgy areas by walking alongside the river then hanging a right at the top. I went first at 4pm, but was rather disappointed with the quality available. I waited around and went and did some shopping, had a few drinks etc in the local bars (none of which, incidentally, are that hospitable and seem to be bars for Belgian blue collar types).
Anyway, it seems that the girls change their shift at 8:30pm. From then I saw three or four quite stunning girls. In the end I selected two, both of which were from Romania.
In my opinion, based on this one experience, the evenings are certainly better than the day time.

I went to RLD on Sep 4th, it was very disappointing. With all the good reviews around I was thinking that it's comparable to Amsterdam. It's no where near AMS quality, to me. I am visiting Antwerp at the moment. I was quite disappointed by the RLD during the day, pretty low occupancy of the windows and quality of the women was bad.
