I will be working in Brno between February and June of 2003. I am an English-speaking, older teacher.

Since you'll be there for a few months, there is a big chance that you will meet someone (or more). Just look for opportunities to start a conversation. You'll be surprise how many responses you will receive. You'll know during the first five minutes if there could be anything coming out of it or not. Don't let them to take advantage of you by asking yo to take them here and there and then say goodbye!
Advertising in the paper is an option too. A lot of them will reply just as a curiosity. Screen those fast and move on. Last week of September I was in Brno with two other friends of mine by car. We stopped at Hotel Monti in ulica Stredni (I suggest you to buy a map if in Brno), close to the Bobi Centrum. We took a room with 3 beds for 900 Kr (abt. 27 US$); during the day we went asking the price also to Hotel Slovan andBobi but they were higher (1200 and 2000 Kr). The first night we went by taxi to the club Moulin Rouge, which is in Slovakova 12 (see www.moulinrouge.cz, they have other two establishments in southern Czech Republik). Entrance cost 500 Kr, and you are given some coins whichyou can give to the girls or waitress as a tip; the value of each of them is 100 Kr. You will be given back your money by presenting the remaining coins when exiting the club. We took a sit and order a beer. In this club the waitress is in Topless, there is always a girl dancing and stripping for the customers in a corner. I remember in the past the price for 50 min in the room with a girl was 1500 Kr, but unfortunately we discovered it is not like this anymore. Now they ask for 3500 Kr!, so avoid this place if you come to Brno in the future; in this way they will be forced to reduce the prices again to theold level.
Curious thing, the taxi is following the clients all night long, I think they have a special agreement with the clubs that they will callalways the same taxi when the customers exit a club.
Next stop was the night club Velvet, in Palackeho 33. Here we ask the man at the entrance the cost for 50 min with the girl in a room before entering. The first proposed price was exactly the same like Moulin Rouge, 3500 Kr, but after some bargain he accepted 2500Kr (by the way I remember this was the current price some years ago). In the club there were 5 girls, 3 of which dancing when we went in. Just back from Brno in the Czech Republic.
1) FYI: Brno is the place where the famous monk-scientist, Gregor Mendel has laid down the foundation of the science underlying our hobby, i;e. genetics, which involves sexuality for gene exchanges. You may remember your high school courses with yellow and riddled peas.

Stayed in Brno recently in the Hotel Continental, Kounicova Street. The place is not bad. It has a Bar / disco on the top floor, where you will almost always find a few women that are willing to come to your room. Prices quoted were between 35 and 100 Euros.

I see the Brno board is not getting much activity lately. Well I happenend to find myself passing through Brno on my way to Vienna so I decided to see the city and spend the night. A friend had told me that the one in Zlin was supposed to be great so I had high expectations for the one in Brno. I was disappointed. I got there around 11:30 PM and there may have been 3 other guys in the club. The cost to enter was 300 crowns and they give you "Tip" money in the amount of 300 crowns, but you have to pay for any that you have given away when you leave.
I was brought into the main room by a topless waitress who was friendly but only spoke Czech. There were 5 girls in the club, in my opinion 2 were 8's, 2 were 7's and one was about a 6. The girls each got up and did a dance on the stage/pole. Some stripped, some didn't. One had two guys dressed in tight shorts dance with her, the rest of the time they just sat at the bar, very odd. I was approached a few times by the girls and once by a guy asking if I wanted a companion. I didn't at the moment, I wanted to see if there were other girls around. I found out later that they do one dance for each new customers, if no one else comes in they don't dance again.

So, Brno. I grabbed a taxi driver at about 9pm and got him to show me a few places. This was too early, most places had only just opened. There was just 1 girl at Velvet, and the other couple of places he showed me (club 200, and club ali-something) each had 3 or 4 unattractive girls in. I decided to wait for a couple of hours and return to Velvet. Now that the GP weekend is over and holiday season is closing, I was thinking about going to Praha and Brno for some fun. OK, I decided to spend a little time in the Old Empire (I'm of Austrian descent) and wound up in Brno for two days. Lots of people have a down on this city in this forum for some reason, but I had a great time.

Well stayed there on buisness and drew a blank as I had to work quite extensively through the day no time to research while i was there but Hotle no action at all and surrounding area alao drew a blank . Only saw one strip club called the La rocca but looked to intimidating to check out. I hope ext time to go back tpo Prague.

I would comment that the quality of Lobby girls in general is pretty low. Usually older troopers who have occupied their seats for a considerable amount of time. During Fairs, the Holiday Inn may get some fresh stock and as always varies from night to night.

Prague is like a museum city full of classic architecture and history,
And it was once a mongering mecca whose popularity apparently ruined it. But Brno, while it has some lovely buildings and is a MUCH more friendly and less overcrowded city, has something else seemingly lacking in Prague: loads of sexy and friendly Moravian babes who will actually smile and look at you walking around town. I suspect the old adage "familiarity breeds contempt" is at play here as being an American has cachet here as we are a rare breed indeed.
Before discussing Stripclub Ali Baba and Monica from Ostrava, two key points of logistics:
1) Getting here from Prague is super easy either by train or bus. Just about 2 hours (200kms). I drove so maybe that was a bit quicker. The motorway is like the autobahn (and many locals drive just as fast as on the AB in Germany; Wien (Vienna) is only half as far as Prague.
2) Hotel: If you can afford about $100, the Austrian owned and operated 4 star Grand Hotel is excellent and in an unbeatable location, right across the street from the train and bus station. Usually that is a seedy area but NOT here; and there are at least 3 stripclubs within 5 minutes walk as well as the Tabarin Disco

Made my usual annual trip to Brno last week. Alibaba. Standard "strip" bar. Prices at Kz2400 quite high for 1 hour. For that type of money in Manila I can get a girl to stay with me all night. Well I did partake of the talent. Then next night went to check out Soho. Took Vanessa for 2 hours at CZ 3000. Much better price. V was very warm and eager to please. Excellent contractions during CG. Would definitely repeat.

Neither Lisbon nor Madrid can match Prague or Brno in that regard. Sintra, which is a very short train, or relatively inexpensive Uber ride, from Lisbon can match Prague for color and castles. Lisbon is a great city to see If you like old neighborhoods on hills, and the beaches in Cascais (or west of Sintra) are fantastic. But Lisbon itself is not the magic "candy land" of colorful architecture that Prague and Brno offers.
Same with Madrid in terms of needing to do day trips. The art museums in Madrid are possibly the best in Europe, but that is an indoor activity. But if you like old castles and old cities, you would need to take the train from Madrid to Toledo or Segovia. Not hard to do, but like incall versus outcall, some consider it too much of a hassle.
