Thanks for the WIKIPEDIA info. The study I read had 10% of US and Europeans regularly have anal, which isn't disputed by the WIKIPEDIA entry you quoted. Hello! I just finished my first 2 days in Prague. I've been a reader of this forum for awhile and got many useful tips from the members here!

Unfortunately 3stars and 4stars mostly dont have swimming pool, few of them can have spa but that´s something different. Also question is what is inexpensive for you ...

In the past I saw ads (for tourist agencies) about a (non-expensive) hotel that does not have "private" swimming pool but apparently next to a public swimming pool.

I don't remember the hotel name but it's nearly in front of "Bila Labut", the one close to hotel Opera (that has sauna but not swimming pool), Flora or Florenc metro (the one on the yellow line, B? I think Florenc rather than Flora) station (where there is a terminal for long distance "buses" for Karlovy Vary and other destinations), not the "Bila Labut" next to the Museum.

Well, hotels mentioned on my website should be safe and easy for hotel guests and their visitors. I visited mostly all of them and had no any problem there. Of course that there are problems with some hotel ( the worst where i was been was Ambasador on Wenceslav Square hotel ) but the problematic hotels are not mentioned on my website.

It´s also depend up to each individual lady and situation. If the lady who you will invite into your hotel room will look "cheap and vulgar" she can expect little problems instead lady who look classy. Also it´s different if the lady will meet with you during afternoon ( when lobby is mostly full of people ) or at 3a.m. in the morning for example (when lobby is totaly empty ).

The best is if you meet your lady in front of the hotel and accompany her "in safe" into your hotel room.

Hi Carolina,

Hotel Ambassador must not be problematic if the guest knows the receptionist, or spoke about his "guest" in advance to him. I personally never had troubles there.

And the reason why it can be problematic is quite simple, as in some other Prague Hotels, receptionists (especially night shift) are doing their own business with some escort agencies, during nightshift there are sitting most times some ladies in the lobby, waiting for customers...

But seriously, it depends on the person at the front desk. One hotel I stay at always wants the girls identification which they write down her name in the register. Sometimes, they ask if she will be staying all night, then the hotel charges me maybe 20 EUR extra.

Another hotel where I stay often and am well known by the desk people doesn't bother me, I just tell them she is my lawyer, accountant or doctor (which is sometimes true).

BERLIN (April 22) - It did not take long for the world financial crisis to affect the world's oldest profession in Germany. In one of the few countries where prostitution is legal, and unusually transparent, the industry has responded with an economic stimulus package of its own: modern marketing tools, rebates and gimmicks to boost falling demand.

Some brothels have cut prices or added free promotions while others have introduced all-inclusive flat-rate fees. Free shuttle buses, discounts for seniors and taxi drivers, as well as "day passes" are among marketing strategies designed to keep business going.

"Times are tough for us too," said Karin Ahrens, who manages the "Yes, Sir" brothel in Hanover. She told Reuters revenue had dropped by 30 percent at her establishment while turnover had fallen by as much as 50 percent at other clubs.

Germany has about 400,000 professional prostitutes. Official figures do not distinguish between the sexes and the number of male prostitutes is not known, but they account for a small fraction of the total and are treated the same under the law.

In 2002, new legislation allowed prostitutes to advertise and to enter into formal labor contracts. It opened the way for them to obtain health insurance, previously refused if they listed their true profession.

Annual revenues are about 14 billion euros ($18 billion), according to an estimate by the Verdi services union. Taxes on prostitution are an important
source of income for some cities.

Prostitution is also legal and regulated in the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Greece, Turkey and in some parts of Australia, and the U.S. state of Nevada.

In other countries, such as Luxembourg, Latvia, Denmark, Belgium and Finland, it is legal but brothels and pimping are not.

'Creative Solutions'

Anke Christiansen, manager of the "GeizHaus," said the effects of the economic crisis were clear. "The regular customers who used to come by two or three times a week are only coming by once or twice a week now."

A "GeizHaus" client, who gave his name as Pascal, said: "Naturally we're all feeling the effects of the crisis." He added that he could no longer afford his usual two or three visits a week.

Guenter Krull, manager of the "FKK Villa" in Hanover, concurred. "The girls are complaining, too, because business is bad and I worry that it's all going to get even worse.

Contingency Plans

Ecki Krumeich, manager of upmarket ##### Club in Berlin, said he resisted pressure to cut prices, although senior citizens and taxi drivers get a 50-percent discount on the 80-euro admission fee on Sundays and Mondays.
"Naturally, we're keeping an eye on the overall economic situation and making contingency plans," said Krumeich, who said his "wellness club" is one of the largest in Europe with about 70 prostitutes.

"Our philosophy is: we provide an important service and even in a recession there are some things people won't do without. Other downmarket places might cut prices but we decided we won't do that. In fact, we raised prices by 10 euros in January."

Stephanie Klee, a prostitute in Berlin and former leader of the German association of sex workers, said even if a few luxury brothels were weathering the storm because of their wealthy regular clientele, many were struggling.

1) In Prague you can find easily appartments to rent; so think about this possibility.

2) In general, in a hotel, when you rent a room for 2 persons, the receptionist expect you to "check in" for two persons ( name, adress, passport number ...)

3) In general, you may receive guests in your room but to spend the whole night (let's say from 10 PM to 6 AM), the receptionist MAY refuse (if you rent the room for 1 person) or ask the guest to "check in" (name, adress, passport number ...) even if you rent a room for 2 persons.

So Here's what happened on the rest of my trip!

I went back to Darling Cabaret and I took a girl in the room for 30min. She was a disaster! But in the mean time the exchange rates of CZK to other currencies significantly change last ten years!

The USD dropped from +/- 42 kc to 15 kc last summer (now +/- 21 kc), the Euro dropped from +/- 36 kc to 23 kc last summer (now 26 kc) and the GBP dropped from +/- 55 kc to 29 kc last summer ( now 31 kc) so all prices significantly increased (accommodation, food & beverage, transportation... including sex services!).

Regardings the financial crisis, you see now clearly the effects in Prague as well. Of course some businesses are still doing well but many bars, restaurants, hotels, shops... are complaining because of a 10 to 30 % drop of customers. Also customers are spending less and compare much more the prices before buying.

More than 100 hotels, bars/cafes and restaurants are for sale in Prague since the begining of the year and current owners can´t find any buyers!

A few bars and restaurants already definitely closed in the city center since january.

Many bars, restaurants and hotels are cutting their staff to save money, not only in Prague but also in Brno, Karlovy Vary...

Several corporates wich have factories in Bohemia and Moravia are laying off or even closing (electronic manufactures... ) and some smaller businesses without any connections to the travel industry are now starting to reduced their costs (including a reduction of the staff) as well.

The sex business is affected as well. Night clubs have less visitors than ever. All clubs - big clubs like Darling, Sexy Gogo, K5... as well as small clubs - saw a drop of customers and reduced the number of girls working (less customers = less work = less money for the girls).

Big clubs still have a large numbers of girls (30-40 girls in Darling, 25-30 girls in Sexy Gogo , 25-30 girls in K5, 20-25 girls in Atlas...) but the situation in small clubs is getting worse: no need to have more than 3-5 girls when they only have 3 guests in the whole night! I would not be bothered much.
Some already said this, adding also that the rate of fatal casualties or sickness for much "simpler" (and still troublesome, especially in your profession) deseases is far much higher.

Although we're only a little over a week since we've starting seeing spread of this virus, and perhaps it's a bit early to make any definitive statements, at present, the virus does not appear to be causing serious disease. I wouldn't needlessly worry at this point, and would take the precautions that you would normally consider when meeting anybody who appears to be sick.

I have been to Neon several times. Always with pleasure. You don't pay any entrance fee, so you can leave again, if you don't feel at ease. No harm done. And it is five minutes walk from Václavské námestí.

Sunday night might of course be silent. Darling is not far away, but it's almost double charge. But always something to look at.

Neon and Sweet Paradise are similar, both are hit or miss depending on what girls are working. Neon is a few blocks walk northwest of K5, and Neon is about 1 km ride by tram #11 from Sweet Paradise. From Neon, you get on the #11 tram on Vinohradska street going east (away from the center) and get off at Radhoshka, the stop before Flora. Walk south one street to Slezka and west one block to SP.

K5 and Darlings seem to have a higher average attractiveness of girls, and cost more.

In an evening you can visit Neon, K5, and both SP's with one tram ticket and 5 blocks of walking.

I must say I agree with the statements below. Visited Club Neon and Darling last Friday.

Neon does not does not have the even close to the same amount of Stunners as Darling, not the same level of quality in the shows, not the big multibar club and amount of girls.

Otherwise Prague is a safe city and czech girls are nice. Of course like in any major city, there is pickpockets/thiefs in Prague so keep an eye on your personal belongings (wallet, mobile phone, photo camera, jacket, bags...) while in public places with large crowds, touristic places (including bars/restaurants...) or using public transportation (especially metro and trams running trough the city center/touristic areas).

Regardings the money exchange scam, it´s a very old trick and amazingly still working :

They approach you on the main touristic spots (Wenceslas square, Old Town Square, Charles bridge...) and offer you a great exchange rate compares to the banks but except the first banknote wich is a valid czech one, the other banknotes are useless bulgarian Lev or hungarian Forint...

I recently heard that these (usually foreign) gangs are now waiting naive tourists in front of money exchange booths/offices all around city center.

So change your cash in official banks/exchange offices or take cash from ATM´s and/or pay with debit/credit cards to avoid to be ripped-off.

That is true indeed Rubberyman, the first things I learned travelling to Prague a decade ago or so is not to Change money on the streets, look after your wallet in Public transports and not stepping up in a taxi without agreeing the price in advance;)

There are good and bad exchange offices in Prague lot tourist rip offs like mentioned. It seems the best one has closed now Camfexgroup on Vladislova.

you are safer from violent crime in prague than most large north american cities. i have never known anyone who was mugged (robbed at knife / gunpoint) or assaulted in prague. many people i have known in chicago have been mugged, especially women. lets be truthful adults, violent crime in us and european countries has an almost perfect correlation to the number of blacks and other poor immigrants in an area. prague, a former communist block country, has a low number of such immigrants. the 'crime' you may experience in prague is petty larceny and can be avoided, for example, overcharging taxi drivers, pickpockets, ect.

i have walked in many areas of prague at night by myself and have never had any problems.

a far greater danger is getting hit by a car. prague drivers are aggressive in the european style, and frankly, often reckless with little regard for the welfare of pedestrians. i asked a friend from the netherlands about this, he pointed out that the usa has more severe accident liability laws, perhaps thats one reason why us drivers are typically more careful around other vehicles and pedestrians (a sobering thought).

as an example, qb the vietcong and i were using the cash station on the sidewalk outside k5 when we were approached by a drunk derelict who wanted a handout and wouldn't go away. qb got nervous and wanted to leave before we got the cash, i explained that czechs are non violent and to just ignore the guy. then i had to stop qb from walking into vinoradska street in front of a speeding car, explaining that the czech drivers were much more dangerous than the drunks, and he could be killed or maimed if he wasn't more careful.

BDI was in Prague last summer on my own (first time) and found it very safe I used night trams during my visits to the ladies and to bars etc. I got extremely drunk and being disoriented in Wenceslas Square I took the wrong night tram and ended up somewhere in South Prague and I was disoriented and lost. I expected to be mugged as is my thinking from home.

I spoke no Czech yet when I was at the end of the line I got another tram in the opposite direction and interchanged at a Metro and somehow stumbled back into my hotel wondering why I was not robbed or assaulted. I visited big sister another night and took the night tram and it worked marvellously (despite a fierce long 35min wait for it!)

I agree with all the other comments and Prague is far safer than say Dublin, London or Barcelona. The Czechs themselves would hardly hurt anyone but the people too look out for are Gypsys and gangs of juvenile delinquents, standard warnings. Prague drivers are mental as is endemic of Eastern Europe, watch the streets and I would rate the drivers as probably the biggest danger there, plus exhaustion from great pussy!

I plan to return this summer again!

The Address is Hall 18 - Bubenské nábrezi you can take the red Metro line to Vltavska or tram 1,3,5,25 Prazská Trznice tram station, The big Show park and the Red light bar is in less than few minutes walk from the tram station. Lets hope you find it.

Three Czechs sentenced to 16, 17.5 years for German's murder

Plzen - Three young Czechs received high prison sentences for a most brutal and agonising murder of a German by the Regional Court in Plzen today.

Michaela and Filip Karbans, aged 28 and 27, were sentenced to 17.5 years each and their friend Miroslav Kozmer, 25, to 16 years behind bars.

Michaela Karbanova invited a German man in a flat in Karlovy Vary, west Bohemia, in June 2007 in order to rob him and kill him.

Her husband and friend murdered the man, cut his body into pieces, put them in plastic bags and buried them in the ground. The victim was repeatedly stabbed, probably with a knife and cleaver, and bled to death.

The three accomplices drew over 40,000 crowns from the man's account and tried to sell his car worth some 390,000 crowns.

The verdict has not yet taken effect.

The court decided on the verdict ten days ago, but the proceedings had to be adjourned because Karbanova collapsed during the reading of the verdict. She did not attend the court today.

Kozmer denied his guilt and said it was the Karbans who killed the man, while the Kozmers tried to put the blame for the murder on him.

Kozmer was a soldier with an elite army unit in Zatec, west Bohemia. He allegedly worked for the Karbans as their guard. They said they hired him because of porn star Robert Rosenberg for whom Karban worked as a porn actor.

There about 7 different ads all with fake pictures. Here are details: PRAG 5, PLZENSKA 98. METRO B STATION ANDEL, TRAIN 9, 10 - VYSTUP "U ZVONU". They sounded like a supermarket, so I decided not to go there.

Nigerian Scam: Led by a nice fake photo, decent English on the phone and a 1000 Kcs /Hour for all-inclusive offer, I hurried up to ul. Velehradska 4, just to discover a run-down place with no trace of Brazilian, but 3 black Nigerian ladies, one fat with streaks on the buttocks, the second was doable, and he third not at all. They asked 2500 for an hour and openly admitted that they only advertize 1000 on the phone, to lure people in. One advantage - They There are at least 4 ads pointing to the same address. Unless you have a big wallet and are dearly missing the chance to get an original HIV from Nigeria - stay away from there.

Arrived at airport about 9:30.

To go from Prague to the airport via public transport you need to catch a bus Out side right in front of the airport you will see a bus stop/stand In side the bus shelter there are 3 yellow coin machines which give out tickets Press the 36 Crown button and then put your change in and it will give out a ticket and your change.

Get off the bus and go into the tube station go down the basement on the elevator as far down as you can go and this is wear the tube line is.

As this stop DEJVICKA is at the end of the line all trains can only go one way Wear you want to be in Prague is up to you but like the London underground the Metro est.

There is a map in the station of the tube line and also in the trains them selfs.

ThanksThe Airport express (bus AE) is running from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm. It takes about 35 minutes to reach the train station Hlavni Nadrazi (central station) and a one way ticket costs 50 kc. The AE line:

Praha Ruzyne airport - Terminal North 1
Praha Ruzyne airport - Terminal North 2
Dejvicka (connection to the metro line A)
Masarykovo nadrazi (Masaryk train station - connection to metro line B)
Praha hlavni nadrazi (Central train station - connection to metro line C)

The bus 119 is running from 4:00 am to midnight. It takes about 20-25 minutes to reach Dejvicka metro station (line A). But keep in mind that the last metro is leaving Dejvicka station at midnight! One way ticket costs 26 kc.

Cedaz is also operating a regular shuttle bus line in addition to the "door-to-door" service (from 480 kc). The shuttle bus is running from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm only. There is only two stops: Dejvicka (connection to metro line A) and V celnici street (next Namesti Republiky - connection to metro line B). It takes about 30 minutes to reach the city center. The one way ticket costs 90 kc between Prague Ruzyne airport and Dejvicka and 120 kc between Prague Ruzyne airport and the city center (V Celnici street).

By car it takes about 30 minutes. Two companies have an information desk in the arrival hall (Airport Cars and AAA taxi). The journey costs about 500 kc one way.

DPP (Prague transportation company) and the City of Prague finally reached an agreement to extend the metro line A from Dejvicka to Prague Ruzyne airport. The contruction should start at the end of the year but all new stations will not be in operation before 2017.

There are several possibilities (extend the A line to the airport, build a new railroad - just like at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, and maybe some other) and each of them is supported by a large group of citizens. And of course, there is a quite large group of people who say it should not be built at all. Every time one of these possibilities seems to win, the other side of the crowd pushes hard to stop it.

And now there is a financial crisis, the city won't have anough money to build it, not mentioning the decrease of number of air passengers. So I guess there won't be any change within the next few years ...

The financial crisis is hurting Czech Republic as same as other countries:

* Local companies are reducing their work forces, some even closed for relocation East.

* Hotels/restaurants/bars/discos are offering discounts (30% discount all summer seaon in an hotel, free entrance to different discos, up to 20% on all drinks on selected days in a music bar, 50% during happy hour in other bars...) or bonusses (2 for 1, free bottle of wine, free taxi home if drinking alcohol... in different restaurants). Some restaurants are remodeling their offers/menus (introducing cheaper menus/plates, offering free coffe & cake if ordering menu...).

* You can see now more and more empty commercial space troughout the city (including the city center - Prague 1) due to shops/business closing. Several projects are suspended (e.g. new restaurant Pizza Colosseum, new Fashion Outlet Center, several companies cancelled their option for commercial space in the renovated Railway Station "hlavni nadrazi"...).

* Flat rates (rent) seems to lower as well as prices for buying some properties (when owners need quickly cash).

Therefore some friends recently asked me why some night clubs (e.g. Big Sister) and privates increased their rates since the crisis started ?!? (the average rate per hour in private seems to be now 1500-2000 kc + cash for each extra while last year it was still between 1200-1500 kc including - most of the time - BBBJ/CIM/69).

* The interest about "private flats" is growing amoung czech men. Hotel USD 60 per night
Beers USD 1-3 per half liter.
Meal in Restaurant Vltava on the River - great view - one half litre beer, one fish, one coffee plus tip USD 15.

This is a one that has caught me too;-) U dvou Kockikek which opperated in Sleszká 134 was on the later days at 1.500 CZK on my early days 1.200 CZK, when I went to Prague last December just when the crisis started they were charging 2.000 CZK OWO included and had a new policy 500 extra for Deep French kissing.

It seems that many clubs though are either keeping same prices or decreasing prices, Hanka servis now offer for 1.500 CZk for an hour and AAA club have not decreased their room rates but offer you 20% discount on drinks if you spend over 2.300CZK

I found good and not so good service late last year. I think the reality is between the 2 posts.

Hi Mark,

Am I right that Girls from Dreams is the same agency as girls from Sara in say 2001- 2002? with a unfriendly boss basic price 1.800 CZK and the whole works could end up in 4.000 CZK also they have had other names in the meanwhile that I cant remember.

When Captain Nemo opened in 2000 it was a classic night club. Part of the girls where dancers only (selling private striptease, lap dances and table dances). Since I read here on the forum about it, I also did some research in the internet and finally decided to visit this club on my next Prague trip. And here comes my FR:

The club is located at Nádražni 46/88 in 150 00 Prague 5, actually just opposite the Praha Smichov train station.

The club is open everyday (from 7 pm onwards), but only Thursdays and Fridays you will find "free" sex and internet broadcastings. A booking/ reservation is mandatory and advisable (3-4 weeks ahead), since the club is already famous and a lot of mongers will go there to try it out!

I arrived there on a Friday at 7.30 pm, was greeted by a "manager", who checked my reservation and explained me the procedures. I took a cab there and def got bamboozled by the cabbie, I felt it was too much to get there but at that point I didn’t care. I don’t know if I also got bamboozled by the girl at the club to get in, but I think the entrance fee was approx 30usd or something like that. At 5am (I think) I decided to visit my future wife at showpark. She was busy so I choose a blonde. Oh man what a babe, pure hotness! She said she had bf and only worked on Fridays. I got a vibe that all the really nice talent works on Fridays and Saturdays only.

I didn´t know Life is now a strip bar at night :) When it opened it was a "kavarna" (cafe) during the day and a music bar at night. I think Cafe Life was recently renamed Fashion Cafe (since FashionTV opened a merchandise shop right in the opposite building).
I didn't go inside, so I'm not 100% certain it's a strip club. But the card I got says "Sexy Beautiful Girls", "Live Show", "Girls", "Private Programs" and "Nude Dance". Theoretically it could be a dance club with a strip show, like Zlaty Strom, but I doubt it.

Hello again and sorry first of all for the double posting, but it seems the reports are proof-read before posted, at least it took very long so I wasn’t sure it was posted.

I wanted to report on the remainder of Sat night. I decided to check out a strip club very close to my hotel, called Hot Peppers. No entrance fee and they had a 2 beer for 1 deal at 190 Kr and free beer for every private dance. The club was not crowded as it was still quite early (10pm). The line up of girls was quite hot, maybe 10-12 girls, some 8-9 for looks. I sat down and had a beer watching the show. The show was only strip, not like in Sexy GoGo, but never mind. What was quite strange though was that most girls were just sitting separate chatting with each other, not approaching anyone for dances. Except one Czech girl was doing the rounds. She was quite tall and in her early 30s, not too bad, but I decided to wait a bit longer. After again 30min no other girls approached even if you starred at them. Weird.

The girl that came to my table (sorry, don’t recall her name) then went on stage and her strip was quite good so I was hoping for her to come back and ask me again, and she did.

Private lap dances are advertised at 1000 Kr. She said that will be for about 6-7 min. Not cheap compared to other places I have been elsewhere but cheaper than Sexy GoGo. So I decided on her for a private lap dance and we went to the cashier. Now she said that touching will be 500 Kr extra. Crap! I paid 1500 Kr not to spoil the experience. We went to a little boot in the back and she was giving her best. The lap dance was very good and intimate, so I was quite happy and it lasted maybe 3 songs.

I went back to my table and shortly after they did an introduction of the girls line up and right after that they offered double time for all private dances. Now all the girls approached the tables! A tall blond came to my table and she was very pretty, so I was sold. Again I paid 1500 Kr for the touching. This time the dance was a bit more professional, definitely preferred the first one but still good and double the time. After that I finished my beer and left. Conclusion: There are some decent strip clubs in Prague but I consider it very pricey. Much prefer places like Toronto, where it is C$20 a song and YMMV.

I wanted to then finish the night with a dance club to check out the hot totties in Prague. Just for the eye candy and for the vibes. I went to M1 Lounge just off the Old Town Square. Was a bad night, seemed they had some kind of theme party with Latin dancing and the place had a very mixed crowd, don’t think many locals. The mood was quite good though in this very small club and the girls hot but overall too small and not my music. So I left and went to Duplex. Here was a 300 Kr entrance fee but a free drink (mini glass of “frozen margarita” with hardly any margarita in it). Very disappointing place. First I thought to be in a gay club (argh) but no it was just that it had 80% blokes in there. Music was alright and there were maybe a dozen decent looking chicks but not worth staying too long. Left at around 2am and decided to go back to the hotel. I know quite pathetic that early. Conclusion on dance clubs: you really need to know the right place to go and it may depend on the day of week and I guess the in-place changes frequently. Much better clubbing in UK or Toronto.

So the highlight of the Prague trip was Nicole at Beboss! Strip Club was alright but too expensive, don’t bother with Brothels like Sweet Paradise unless you’re into mechanical fucking.

When I meet friends (girls who work or worked in the sex business) for lunch, dinner or just drinks & chat it´s always an opportunity to get "fresh news" about the Prague night life.

I already mentionned that the financial crisis hits prague and the Czech Republic like many other cities/countries. The current economic situtation hardly hurts the sex business. A couple of clubs owners are even trying to sell their businesses.

Night clubs are empty and several girls even decided to make some trips abroad to try their luck in Germany, Switzerland, France, Greece or Spain (in night clubs, privates or with escort agencies).

Some small clubs have problems to keep girls because there is no clients. Even the big cabarets around Wenceslas are quite empty on weekends (Sugar, Empire, Atlas...).

I mentionned a couple of times Hanka Servis but this club is also facing bad time and many girls moved as well (to some privates or other clubs). They hardly have 4 girls/night on offer last few weeks so I would not especially recommend this club anymore.

A girl told me the situtation in Neon club is similar. Another girl who worked for Ariadne club even said they are happy to have one or two girls showing-up to work!

Even if the business is slower than before it seems that Darling cabaret and K5 club still have a proper number of visitors (and a larger number of girls).

A girl suggested to visit Sweet Paradise clubs as well.

In privates girls are not complaining so much even if the competition is tough. The prices, lower than in night clubs, draw clients so they are busy as usual. Proposing french kissing, oral without... as extra services with supplement seems to be now the new standard in privates. The common price for an extra is 500 kc.

In strip clubs girls mentionned a significantly drop of guests (stag parties become scarce) and like in night clubs and cabarets more and more clients are only coming to watch but they don´t buy private shows.

Sex business is a big business in Czech Republic, between 9 and 10 billions crowns. 60 % of this amount is coming from tourists and only 40 % from locals.

I heard some rumors saying Ariadne and Big Sister are closed or will be closing soon.

Well, I´m not really a surprise to listen Ariadne is closed (or will close soon). All clubs are facing hard time since last fall. The time when Ariadne was filled with british staggers are gone. Vicious circle: girls are leaving because there is not (enough) business, clients are disapointed and leave after one drink without going to room, the remaining girls are borred desperatly waiting for a customer, then even less customers are coming... Also people are now concerned about money and think twice before spending, they became more fussy about their choices: clients are ready to pay but insist on quality (look & services) or if girls are average (look & services) they look now for cheaper prices in privates. If anyone is able to confirm or invalidate the rumor, please post info on the forum.

We all know that the Big Sister project never reach the targets (and profitability) and underwent several deep changes since the Grand Opening. I arrived @ Sweet Paradise around 20:00h last Thursday. There were about 5 other guys and maybe 5-10, later 10-15 girls working.

Just my 2c.Of course, girls should change their behaviour, improve the quality of their services and maybe reconsider their prices in the present economic situation. It´s seems logical but girls don´t do anything except to complain of the current situtation...

Wenceslas square and the adjacent streets look sadly empty... Recently Atlas only had 3 guests after midnight and Sexy Gogo only a few more... Sugar and Empire did not better. I would not be surprised if some cabarets/clubs owners take some radical decisions after summer as it costs a lot of money to stay open for a few guests per night.

It seems that K5 was quite busy lately but it would be interesting to know the proportion of guests going to room.

K5 still offers a large number of girls everynight including some nice ones IMHO (25-35 dependings on day and time as well as the number of outcalls). The selection in Atlas was limited (15+) and very poor so I would say that only Darling (40+) and Sexy Gogo (20+) compete with K5.

No, she works at one place - "Privat Gabriela" and Privat "Lenka" are actually the same private. I forgot to update that part of the post (I wrote it several months ago and I was not sure about it at that time).

Some of the privates use multiple "fake" addresses - I guess they believe this will increase the number of clients. So don't be surprised if you call to two privates not too far from each other, and the same girl picks up the phone.

No, that's not true. I meant the description they provide over the phone is not always correct. Some of the girls are quite slim (Adelka for example), but I did not like the service they provided.

In Sladke Pusinky, There are some good looking girls, but they ask extra money for extra service, which were included in the price of U Dvou Kocicek. It was ech 500kc for each extra.

That's quite common - I actually know girls who did not like this "basic + extras" pricing, so they went with 2200 all-inclusive package. And they had to switch to the usual way as the clients did not like it.

I must say paying more does not always get you better results. I would say Linda 27 years of age is good value for money not 8 or 9 by looks but quite OK and I spent with her the full hour the other 3 were decent perfomances.

I spent 1.500 Czk at Private Monika at Gutova 17 it was Ok 1.500 CZK for Basic and 500 CZK for BBBJ.

I went to AAA club and got not to say the least one of my worst overall experience 2.100 CZK for 45 minute service and only Classical sex was available.

I agree though paying 2.000-2.500 CZK is well OK for a nice girl that is decent performer but you can get that in Sladke Pusinky and I was not charged extra there for BBBJ and I dont think Rubberyman was either;)

But I can´t agree that you pay extra in Sladke Pusinky I went there 4 times during my July trip and was quoted 1.000 Czk for 1/2 hour and 1.500 Czk for 1 hour, BBBJ was included in the basic price like UDK. Less you were asking for something extra than that which I did not ask for.
