This is a message that I originally posted on September 11, 2001, and the original version can still be found in the Archive section.

This is an updated version, written June 24, 2002.

Considering that all info about Finland to be found on this site seems to be broadly correct, but somewhat incoherent, hazy in the details and at some points slightly outdated, I decided I'd try to give you a general overview of the Finnish scene, as seen by a local.

GENERAL The age of consent in Finland is 16 years. Prostitution is a legal profession, but pimping and brothels are not allowed. The latter regulation is enforced fairly strictly. Paying for sex is legal. There are currently pressures from various feminist groups to make paying for sex illegal but at the moment it is completely legal. ATTN:!! Paying for sex to a person under 18 IS a serious crime.

Attitudes toward sex are relatively speaking tolerant in the cities, somewhat less so on the countryside. Paid sex is abundantly available in Helsinki region, available in Turku, Tampere, Oulu and very hard to obtain in the countryside as there is virtually no supply. (There are exceptions of course, such as the occasional Russians from Murmansk that appear in the towns of the northernmost part of the country. You'll have to be a local or helped by one to find them, however.)

There are no Red Light Districts.

NATIONALITY A majority of prostitutes working in Finland are Russians or other nationals of former USSR. As they do not have working permits in Finland but arrive with a tourist visa, the girls change often. A much smaller part of the girls are Finns or Thais and Vietnamese permanently resident in Finland.

GIRLS IN PRIVATE APARTMENTS AND INCALLS This is by far the most common form of prostitution in Finland. The girls work singly or in pairs, putting small adds to the classifieds of local newspapers. Some also have a web site. Men call their mobile phone, book a time, receive the address on the phone and go. Some of these girls have specialised into making housecalls or incalls to hotels only.

How to find the girls: this used to be simple, as all you needed to do was to buy a local newspaper (in Helsinki, the paper Helsingin Sanomat) and look into the classifieds section, usually the part you were looking for was right near the end and called Muut Viihdepalvelut ("other entertainment services"). However recently Helsingin Sanomat and certain provincial newspapers announced that they would stop publishing these ads, and it remains to be seen where the ads will end up or whether the promoting of prostitution moves wholesale to the net.

The afternoon tabloids Ilta-Sanomat and Iltalehti usually have a few numbers to various cities and towns around Finland, on the same pages where you find the adult phone numbers - you can't miss those two pages. The ads are almost exclusively in Finnish, naturally.

Often these adds, regardless the paper, mention the code word päiväkahviseura or, in short, pk-seura ("daytime coffee company"); alternatively, they may use the words hieronta ("massage") or hieroja ("masseuse"). ATTENTION! If the words hieronta ("massage") or hieroja ("masseuse") are used, make damn sure this not a real masseuse you're calling or you may find yourself in an embarrassing situation.

As a rule of thumb, everything in the classifieds section Muut Viihdepalvelut is either prostitution or (illegal) pay phone numbers faking to be a girl's ad. At any given day, you used to find dozens, even close to a hundred ads in Helsingin Sanomat, but only a few in the other ones. So when do find these ads and make the call, just pick a number that starts with 040-, 050- or 041- and you won't go wrong as these are ordinary mobile numbers in Finland. The Russian girls speak English adequately and the Finnish ones usually very well. You may have to try a couple of numbers before one answers to you, the girls do not answer 24h.

Another way to find these girls' phone numbers is via web sites such as www.sihteeriopisto.net, www.seuralaispalvelu.net and www.viihdelinja.com. You may have difficulty using these sites without any command of written Finnish. At Sihteeriopisto ("Secretary College", LOL) click "Aikuisviihde", under that "Naisoppilaat" and bang! Just choose your city, take a look at photos and choose.

If you can choose, rather go to a girl than have girl come to you. You'll get better value for money that way, as all girls lie about their age and looks on the phone. So if you go to a girl and find that she is not your liking, you can ALWAYS turn around at the door.

The price for these girls is usually EUR 50-85 per half hour, about 85-100 for hour. You can try haggling but usually the prices are fixed. Anal is very seldom included and they won't kiss on the mouth. Cash only.

The girls vary the full 1-10+ scale in looks, 18 to over 50 in age. Some are highly proficient in bed, others just lie down. You tell the position, they'll do it. Everything done with a rubber, and if not PLS INSIST on the use of one, AIDS is a problem in Russia.

STRIPCLUBS Stripclubs are quite common in Finland, but all you're usually going to find is striptease and perhaps a Privat Show (see below).

The exceptions are the stripclubs Mermaid and Alcatraz in Helsinki. From Mermaid you'll find a limited selection of working girls, over 30 in age, 4-7 in looks, at EUR 85-100 for an hour. Open from 13.00 (that's 1 pm for Yanks!). The Alcatraz' supply is much wider, more varied and much more upmarket, very similar also in prices to Mikado (see below). Both are in the center, and any taxi driver will know them. All East European girls in both places, a few blacks occasionally. No Finns work in these clubs.

NIGHTCLUBS WHERE GIRLS HANG OUT There is one that is known to all: the Mikado in Helsinki. The last time I was there, there were about 50 male customers and over 100 girls. Upmarket, entry cost 7-8 EUR. Again, all Russians or other former USSR. Prices varied from EUR 135) to EUR 200 per night, but the quotations tended to drop as the night advanced. Girls 18-45 in age, 5-10 in looks, business and evening wear. The place is at the very center of the city, open late. Take note that you will also have to pay for the cab fare as the girls usually take you to their place (this can be negotiated), and the fare to somewhere in the suburbs may be 15-40 EUR.

The girls working in Mermaid, Alcatraz and Mikado are often highly skillful and eager in bed. No hurry as the deal is usually on a "per night" basis. Cash only. Two girls can be had if you wish, actually some of these grils specialise in working in pairs. Double price for that of course.

STREETWALKERS There are very few street hookers, and only in Helsinki. The girls are to be found on Vaasankatu, Aleksis Kivenkatu and Satamaradankatu in the Kallio district in Helsinki. The police patrols this area heavily, as streetwalking is against the Helsinki City code, even if the law would allow it. The streetgirls do not usually have an apartment so the trick is done in a car. The price is EUR 35-50 per a hurried, cramped, uncomfortable and cold trick at your back seat. IMHO, forget the streetgirls. PS many SW:s are on drugs.

PRIVAT SHOWS This is something of a Finnish speciality. In theory, this is just what the name says: a privatestrip show for an audience of one: you. In practice, however, other services can be had as well. Privat show can be had in some strip clubs, sex shops etc. What it means is that somewhere in the back there is a room that you can go to, with a lockable door, chair, tissues, and some sort of a bed or platform for the girl. You can ask to see the girl(s) before you decide whether you wish to have a privat show or not. Often you may run into the same girl in different places at different times.

The show will cost you around 16-25 EUR depending on the time you wish to spend and the place. This is paid at the front to the shop owner or whomever.

Once inside, the girl will come and put music on. Now it's the time to dicuss other services. Usually, at least handjobs can be had, often also BJ, intercourse is rare. Some girls demand extra if you want them to use a dildo, or if you want to be allowed to touch them. The prices vary, and they can and should be negotiated. Usually you can bring the price of a handjob down to 16-20 EUR extra, BJ 30-40 and intercourse may cost up to 100. All extras are paid in cash straight to the girl, they are not to be discussed in the front room (otherwise, the shop owner may get arrested for pimping: officially he must not know at all what goes on in the back room).

If you don't want any extras, you can just sit in the room, watch the girl strip and wank. IMHO, for that purpose videos and magazines are just as good and cheaper…;-)

Good privat show places in Helsinki are for example couple of places on Vaasankatu. In Turku, Cicciolinos is probably the best.

The girls doing Privat Shows vary between 5-8 in looks. Unlike ordinary prostitutes many are Finns. Also black and Asian girls can sometimes be found. With their level of experience, it's no surprise that they give some of the very best handjobs I've known.

IMHO, ordinary hookers in private apartments are better value for your money. But if you stay in the country for any longer periods, Privat Show is one alternative worth considering.

THAI MASSAGE PARLORS These abound, and much the same applies to them as to privat shows: once inside with the girl, you can discuss extras. The prices for extras are often higher than in Privat Show places. Don't bother going to these if in search of a real good Thai massage, it's pretty hit and miss. The women are Thai, some may be on the older side. You usually can choose between 2-3 girls.

THE DO'S AND THE DON'TS A few general tips:

1) Safety: Finland is a very safe country, but the usual caveats of walking around an unknown city after dark apply. Do not get senselessly drunk. If in doubt, call a taxi - they're safe and do not overcharge (although the normal charges are quite high enough).

2) Do not use drugs while in Finland. Any drugs. Reasons? a) the penalties are severe and b) the drug trade is largely controlled by Russian mafia and you do NOT want to get to know those types. These guys in black leather jackets eat New York gangstas for breakfast.

3) Agree on the contents of the service and prices before you pay. Keep your word to the girl and see that she does the same.

4) Give a try to ordinary girls/women at discos and bars! If you're reasonably goodlookin' and find a bar frequented by people of your age, chances of finding a one-night stand are better than in most places around the world. This does not apply if you're a Swede.

Have fun! And once again: use a condom and treat the girls in a civilized manner!

The national newspaper Helsingin Sanomat has now ceased to publish prostitution-related small ads, and presumably the same applies to a number of provincial papers. This leaves night clubs, privat shows, and web sites + the 2 afternoon tabloids as sources.

Viagra is not available over the counter here. If you get a prescription then you will pay $55 for 4x100mg tablets.

If you are European then a doctors appointment is probably inconvenient but not difficult.

If you don't want to do that then go to Saint Petersburg or Vyborg, but you will need a visa...

Viagra is an OTC medic in Russia.

There is a sudden strong movement in the press and Parliament in Finland to criminalize paying for sex. While it is currently entirely legal, paid sex could be criminalized as soon as some time during the year 2003, if the pressure groups succeed. According to a recent poll amongst Members of Parliament, there is already a majority in the Parliament willing to criminalize BUYING sex.

Even according to the current proposals, SELLING sex would still be legal.

The movement for illegalizing paying for sex is gaining momentum. According to a recently publicised government paper, a bill to this effect is going to be introduced to the parliament during the next few months.

It is possible that paying for sex might become a criminal act already from the beginning of the calendar year 2004, but the beginning of year 2005 is considered a more likely timeframe.

MONGERS FINED IN HELSINKI FOR THE FIRST TIME! BE WARNED!

According to today's papers, in the past few days 5 "johns" in Helsinki have been questioned by the police and fined for the first time for buying sex in a public place. In the same police operation, 9 prostitutes were fined as well for trading in a public place, ie. on the street.

(For the time being, buying and selling sex in all non-public places, such as private apartments, remains legal.)

It is very interesting that the new law that illegalizes buying and selling sex in public places explicitly mentions that a "restaurant" - which includes nightclubs etc. - IS a public place, just like street. However at least so far the police has not done anything about Mikado, Alcatraz etc., but watch this space for possible future developments on that aspect.

My advice to punters stays the same: forget about street action in Helsinki, and Finland in general. Not only is it cold and uncomfortable, from now on it can get your face and name in police books as well.

21 October 2003 – Helsinki

I woke up at 2:30am, unable to go back to sleep. The evening before I had had a big Indian meal with friends. Any thoughts of visiting Mikado had been dashed by feeling overfull.

But now I was less full, and I had read that there was a market atmosphere around closing time, outside of the bar. To satisfy my curiosity, I went out at 3:15am.

Indeed there were a handful of eligible ladies around. Two reasonably pretty ladies offered the pair of them to me for E200, but I only wanted one. I asked one how much for just you? And she said E200, so I said good night.

A blond lady, late 30s, offered E150, which I said was too much. She asked for my offer, and I suggested E70 (a lowball, but it was that or E100 in terms of the denominations of cash I had in my wallet). That was refused, as I expected. I wasn’t very interested in her – good thing she did not accept. My main reason in asking was to find out what the low end of the price range might be. She might well have accepted E100, but seemed hard to me, and I didn’t expect her to be much fun.

Still standing around, the blonde later asked me where I was from, and I told her. I asked her how old she was, and she considered this a rude question, and said so. It was a conversation-ender, which was fine with me. In asking, I was partly explaining my lowball offer and lack of interest.

Meanwhile a younger but heavier woman had said hello. I originally said “no thanks” and she turned away. But after my interaction with the blonde, I was thinking that the heavier woman seemed rather nice. I returned to her and we discussed price – she asked E150 but accepted E100. She wanted to know if I expected specialties like anal, and I did not. She wanted to know if I was a nice man. I said I would be nice to her, and asked her to be nice to me. She said, “well, I’ll try, are you a soft man?”. Since that is occasionally a problem for me, especially when under pressure, I said as much.

Back in the room, Ludmilia was cold, perhaps because the windows were open a little. I closed them. She wanted tea, but wasn’t happy with the Earl Gray that came with the room. She was delighted when I offered her Chinese oolong, so she had some. I asked if the tea time counted against our agreed hour and she said no, and she was not in a hurry. She also asked me to pay her, which I did. I took a small portion of “vitamin V” to make things go smoother… not clear that I needed to.

In talking to her, I learned that she was 33, from St Petersburg, married to a Finnish man and lived in Helsinki, and had a 12-year-old son. She lives near the Olympic pool that I had swam in that evening with a local friend, to the north.

I was surprised to hear that she was married, and wondered if her line of work was okay with her husband. She says he does not like it, but they really need the money. He makes about E1400 per month, their rent is E900, and they need money for food, schooling, Internet, and so on. At first I was put off by her being attached yet working – but she said it was okay as far as she was concerned.

I asked about how she had discussed anal sex out on the street. According to her, many or most men want it, and she is unwilling. She is also unwilling to kiss, because of the many germs that can be conveyed. For example, she mentioned Hepatitis B. I’ve never thought about diseases beyond the usual STDs, plus HIV or herpes. In doing a little research, it appears that Hep B is not often transmitted by kissing – at least the Hepatitis information site did not recommend against kissing as a way of preventing transmission. They explain that while Hep B viri can be found in small amounts in saliva, they have no cases supporting transmission in this way. On the other hand, open sores in the mouth of both people could transmit it.

She finished her tea and undressed. Her body, though a bit chunky, was not real flabby and she was attractive. I undressed and fetched a condom, which she inspected carefully. She gave me head for awhile (which was ok but not great with the condom on). She climbed on top of me, but didn’t move much – that was up to me. We tried doggy for awhile, then reverted to missionary for my orgasm. I found myself wishing that she was more lively in sex. I treated her well, kissed her face and neck, she did the same for me. She seemed to like my body and the softness of my skin, and though she did not come, she seemed to enjoy the sex well enough. Of course all of this can be a professional act, and I’ll never know how it was for her.

Afterwards she got up to clean up. I asked her to lie with me a while, to hold me, and she said “of course”. After a bit of snuggling I gave her a body massage for about 15 minutes, working deep into her muscles, which seemed to really enjoy. She did me for about half that time, but mostly rubbed the skin (not being in tune with the muscles below). Now it was 5am, and she said it was time to go.

All in all it was satisfying but not terribly thrilling. I got some companionship, snuggles, and of course a release that I needed. Not exactly GFE, but warm and nice treatment, with no pressure to hurry.

They raided Mikado during the weekend!

According to today's paper's, Mikado was subject to a police inspection this weekend, both Friday and Saturday nights. Several fines were given - some to girls, some to customers - for trading sex in a public place. This was the first time that the police inspections against public prostitution were taking place within a club, previously this has only been done on the streets.

(As previously stated, a club qualifies as a public place according to the new legislation.)

Promoting sexual services on web pages has been illegalised in Finland from the beginning of this month. It will from now on be considered pimping.

As a result, the most important such web site www.sihteeriopisto.net has relocated its server to outside Finland (I'm guessing Estonia - just a hunch.) The content of the pages, now that they have reopened after a couple of weeks' hiatus, is unchanged.

The other two, www.senssit.net and www.seuralaispalvelu.net are "temporarily out of service".

Actually buying/selling sex in public places is NOT illegal per se, it's just against the new city ordinances. Basically this means that it is in the same category with [CodeWord112] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord112) in public places, and you could get a fine of about 50 euros. (If you pay about 100-200 euros for sex, you could consider the 50 euros to be just a tax. Which it basically is!)

And as far as I remember, a court had recently some case connected to this, and came to conclusion that the act of public sex trade has to be "disturbing" to be punishable.

Elton

i'm sorry speed of light, it is your info that is outdated. please let us not let this develop into a flame war.

the city ordinances (järjestyssääntö) are of no consequence here. actually they have been superceded by the new law of general order (järjestyslaki), given july 6, 2003 and in force since jan 1, 2004.

please see this page for more info (in finnish, sorry folks):

http://www.finlex.fi/

type "järjestyslaki" in the search field, then see paragraph 7.

§7 explicitly forbids selling buying and selling sex in a public place, with no exceptions.

a completely different matter is how easy or difficult the charges are to prove or disprove. it is my understanding that so far the police has only written 50 € fines for both the sellers and the buyers.

it is still different from the criminal law. so public sex trade is not "criminalized" per se, it is just a minor offence, for which you could theoritically get fined for 50 euros, it seems.

but i vaguely remember a court decision, which stated that the sex trade had to be "disturbing" to be punishable..

My last post on this particular issue - please read §7, or the leaflet that was delivered / will be delivered to every household in Finland last week / this or the coming week by snail mail.

Buying and selling sex in a public place has been criminalized. The range of punishments is 8-14 day fines, or a fixed 50€ fine. As to the the "disturbingness", it is completely insignificant.

I have nothing more to say on this issue.

Buying and selling sex in a public place has been criminalized. Not it hasn't. It is "forbidden", but it is not "criminalized", because it is not part of the criminal law.

Basically it is the same thing as if you compare driving through red lights with a theft. The former is not a "crime", the latter is.

More on the same issue... it seems that if the government's current plans become a reality, from the beginning of 2007, all buying and selling sex will become an offence. The bill to this end seems to have the backing of the majority of the parliament.

For more on this in the coming months, watch this space.

More on the same issue... it seems that if the government's current plans become a reality, from the beginning of 2007, all buying and selling sex will become an offence.Selling will not become illegal. Only buying. (If the Parliament approves the government's proposal.)

Remember, the basis for this law is not religious (as in some countries, ie. USA), but feministic. So there is no need to illegalize selling. Feminists see the seller (=woman) always as a "victim", and the buyer (=man) as the exploiter.

It's really sad to see another country, after Sweden, falling victim to feminist mendacious theories and propaganda.

I recently upgraded my site about prostitution (jonathanx.altervista.org) with a section about "Netherlands vs Sweden". In doing so, I've learned of the recent norwegian government report you can find at http://www.odin.no/filarkiv/232216/Purchasing_Sexual_Services_in_Sweden_and_The_Nederlands.pdf

This report clearly shows how much the sweden law FAILED all its goals, apart the propagandist one.

Sadly, it seems that another feminist government will follow that wrong way and the risk is that "solution" will be proposed for other countries, too.

That would be really absurd: disgusting fascist-feminist theories apart, "sweden solution" failed even in a country with a very small prostitution market so it's absolutelly idiotic to suggest it for countries with larger markets.

Speed of Light
12-20-05, 20:30
Sadly, it seems that another feminist government will follow that wrong way and the risk is that "solution" will be proposed for other countries, too.In fact the Finnish female minister of justice, Leena Luhtanen hopes that EU-countries could unify their legistlation concerning prostitution. Of course she wants the other countries to adopt the Finnish/Swedish system and fails to see that maybe, just maybe the other countries' approach to the issue is a little bit more sensible.

Meanwhile, the Estonian minister of justice, Rein Lang said on Postimees newspaper on tuesday that his country probably has to do the same if Finland criminalizes buying to prevent excessive sex-tourism!

Anyway, the whole issue of the criminalization of buying sex is all about power. The power of pussy. Prostitution decreases the value of regular womens' pussies, and therefore the power of women in general. Of course women want to criminalize easy pussy if they can. In Scandinavia they can. (In Finland almost half of the members of the government are females + the president...)

meanwhile, the estonian minister of justice, rein lang said on postimees newspaper on tuesday that his country probably has to do the same if finland criminalizes buying to prevent excessive sex-tourism!i hope estonians are smart enough to consider the valuable income of "sex tourism", especially from wealthy finnish men! ;-)

but, really, i think that estonian minister of justice is just seeking excuses for proposing another illiberal law: afaik, prostitution in finland is quite limited in number and nowadays there is already a very substantial "sex tourism" from finland to estonia.

so, i don't think that criminalizing the quite small prostitution market in finland will be the main force behind a "flood" of sex-tourist: the "flood" happened years ago, thanks to the beauty of the (relatively cheap) estonian and russian-estonian girls ...
moreover, swedish experience shows clearly that, in fact, the criminalized market doesn't disappear, it just hides itself, so even finnish men will find "hidden" ways to contact prostitutes (internet, cellular phones, ...) in the country.

very likely, the whole swedish market is today at least as large as it was in 1999, maybe larger!

the whole thing is a really, really sad story about fascist-feminist ideology.
it's a story about feminist lies (from governmental swedish sources, too!) and illiberal ideology.

everyone interested in understanding the truth should read the norwegian report i mentioned in my previous post.

finally, i fully agree with you that the unsaid truth is the fear of women about "regular pussy devaluation" bring by prostitution: that's the true origin of those feminist theories, not "men violence toward women" or similar ridicule thesis.

But, really, I think that estonian Minister of Justice is just seeking excuses for proposing another illiberal law: AFAIK, prostitution in Finland is quite limited in number and nowadays there is already a very substantial "sex tourism" from Finland to Estonia. You are right. Prostitution-scene in Finland is very limited, and there are only a few - if any - public spots left mainly in Helsinki to pick up prostitutes. Apart from that, it is already underground. This is why the reasoning behind the new law seems even more laughable. Prostitution isn't a "problem" in Finland.

The sex-tourism to Estonia may even have peaked by now. There are fewer brothels than there used to be, services are more expensive and women less beautiful (the most beautiful ones go to work abroad).

Russia and other destinations are probably more lucrative choices for a monger. But of course if you live in Helsinki, you can't beat the distance to Tallinn.

I am pleased to report that the Finnish parliament has approved the law on buying sex, and it became much more sensible than what was feared.

According to the new law, selling sex will still be entirely legal, while brothels and pimping will be illegal.

The only change is regarding to the rules of buying sex: henceforth, it will be illegal to buy sex from someone whom can be expected to be working in prostitution because she's a victim of [CodeWord908] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord908), or has otherwise been forced to this profession.

The previously existant regulatins stipulating that sex may also not be bought from anyone under 18 years of age, from a public place (such as street or a club) or whenever pimping is involved, also will stay in force.

In my opinion, this is sensible and understandable law that takes into account all the realities surrounding the matter.

Hi,

I am new in Finland, and want to try mongering here. I have been to Alcatraz club in Helsinki, and have seen a kind of good scene there. I could not dare to try with any of the hookers there, not sure exactly if that would be legal.

So my question is, Will that be illegal if I pay to a hooker in Helsinki for sex?

Thanks in Advance

What I have understood: It is legal to buy sex, but not to sell. So if you pay girl for the sex, then you are breaking the law. However, nobody has ever been charged yet for this in Finland althought law has been there already long time (many years ??). Police don't even try any more.

I think both girl and you have to admit that you have paid for sex. Girls don't admit that to police of course, and neither will you. So feel free to pay for sex, and if police asks (will not happen), say that you just met her in the bar and you are just friends or normal couple.

There used to be a web page called sihteeriopisto, (you can look rest of the address from google), where is all the information of the Helsinki sex scene. I guess this is why it is so silent in these Finland GFE pages. But I don't know it is allowed here to mention other web pages here.

New law for controlling prostitution scene shrinked in form that it is illegal to buy pimped sex. All the feminist in Finland were furious about that.

You can buy sex fm entrepreneurs without fear as old days. If you pay hooker herself for sex without third party, no offense has happened.

No customer has been sentenced even the law has been several years in effective and some lady member of parliament have insested more effective actions for that.
Few prosecutions has been, like funny incident when customer was captured hiding under the hookers bed with condom equipped in famous Syvälampi brothel round up. Charges were canceled since the guy claimed to be impotent.

It would be quite silly to pay for sex in Finland, because it is so easy to get it for free. Just go to almost any nightclub on Friday or Saturday and they are full of drunk women, who will go with you, unless you are very fat, very ugly, smell bad, have no manners.

On other days, try Nightclub Lady Moon close to the Railwaystation. It is packed with willing ladys every night. Note, however, that the place may not fill up before 1 AM. There may be some Thai prostitutes at Lady Moon, but others are there just for fun and company.

Just as an example.

My girl has a fantasy of doing it in sauna but I don't want this in public place.Your best option in Helsinki is Sompasauna. This is a hippy style sauna complex in a madmax movie scene looking area. Some people go to sauna and swim naked while the others wear swim suit. Perfect place to find very open minded girls and most likely you will score on a Friday / Saturday night.

In Helsinki area there are no other common mixed nude saunas. However many mixed saunas but in those the swim suit is a must.

Hi,

I will be travelling to Finland for holidays and was hoping a local Finn could give a more recent update about what is currently legal and what is not.

Also on which internet sites clubs and girls advertise their services?

Any do's and don'ts incl. Current average prices would be appreciated.
