Going to Paris next week for the first time in a long time.
Can someone tell me if there is still action at the night club on top of the Concorde Lafayette hotel, and if yes, what is the quality / price?
It looks like it is no more... but....
In the past this hotel was the place to go.
The bar on top was selective but you had always several girls not here to enjoy the view...
Also staying at the hotel was fun.

Having returned from the trip I can now answer my own question and largely confirm what eFrog said. Concorde Lafayette has slowed down considerably but not completely.
There was positively no action at the bar at the top, however there were (at a weeknight, at about 11 pm) three or possibly four girls at the lobby. Three were working for certain (sitting for over an hour by the elevators, immediate eye contact, etc.), age about 25, looks 7-8 range. Yes I did post on the Amsterdam one too since I have two bookings out of the US,one via Charles de gaulle and one via Schicpol.I was trying to get some info before taking a decision.
Since I think the Amsterdam one holds more promise(if the flight gets delayed) I think I will accept that routing.

RER is either direct or stop at every station so first reason for failing
Second point, RER to CDG are only every 7 minutes, so add just one to the trip and the hour is already over.
I think that given this kind of advice will be very helpful when he will miss his flight, not even talking about the time needed for security.

Went to the Bois de Boulogne by car last night, March 13th. It was freezing cold outside. Some action started around midnight, mostly TS, some straight girls, but real small quantities. Escapade, second visit

The impression I got from talking to people and from seeing for myself is that there isn’t much difference between the clubs that admit single men. If you try the same club on different evenings you are likely to have completely different experiences, and if you try different clubs on different evenings you are likely to run into some of the same people since there are ones who go out often and visit different clubs. All clubs seem to have good nights and bad nights, with the bad nights being more frequent than the good nights. Think about it. If there were too many good nights anywhere every desperate cretin in town would eventually hear about it and the resulting stampede would quickly spoil everything. There is a natural balance where most of the time the women are frightful but once in a while there is a hot girl who hopefully makes up for the other nights. Well, it's not totally dead - if you're gay. A friend of mine ( who is) tells me that in his circles it is considered one of the best cities in the world for one-time adventures.
As a very frequent business traveller- more than 20 visits last year, I can confirm, that unless you're willing to change affiliations or fork over at least 250 Euro for a decent escort, the Paris mongering scene is dead. The only outlet are the swinger clubs and Catalyst's excellent review of his experiences, aptly describes the scene - Swinger clubs are always hit or miss, unless you make some effort beforehand to meet some of the regulars via the internet (the Paris scene has a multitude of chats and introduction sites) or become a regular at one of the clubs. There's no sense trying to avoid that- it's a fact.
A few comments on Catalyst's report:
1) The scene is very diferent on weekends - I assume that you were there on a weekday. Many more younger particpants, but most of the clubs also limit the amount of single men or forbid them altogether. I once took an escort to one of the clubs on a Sat. nite and had a very different experience.
2) You tried 3 clubs that are in the main city quarters. I find that the clubs further out of the city center like Quai 17 are less runover with desperate single men.
3) I've found my best nights at clubs like La Cheminee which are usually closed to single men, but open twice a week for "trio" nights. But make sure that you call in advance or they won't let you in.
4) Always bring your own condoms- this isn't Germany. If you forget, at most of the clubs they have a supply of condoms at the bar/reception.
5) I applaud Catalyst's commitment to the hobby- a walk on a winter's night from L'Escapde to Prelude no small effort.
And finally, it is impossible to get to the city by taxi, train or bus, have sex and then return to CDG all within one hour. As for the Parisian down-market scene, I would say that the rumours of its death are greatly exaggerated. - Although one might sometimes wish they weren't!
Unlike Denis I don't much like cruising around by car. Even when the Boulevard des Marechaux was packed with working girls a few years back I found it a bit too hectic, and the success rate ("success" = good looking girl + unrushed service + no mishaps with my car/policy/voyeurs/etc.) definitely below 50%. The NRW FKK are at 500/600km and 5/6hour drive and the Frankfurt FKK at 650/700km 7 hour drive. Train is another good option but with similar time as by car. This will change in 2007 with the TGV East bringing Saarbrucken at 2 hours from Paris and Frankfurt 3.5 hours!

I guess you are referring to Rue Joubert (Joubert Street), behind the famed Galeries Lafayette departement store.
Where?
In the 9th district (Neuvieme arrondissement in French).
Closest metro stations : Havre Caumartin, Chaussee d'Antin, Trinite d'Estienne d'Orves or even Saint Lazare. All are in walking distance of the Joubert street, which is the second street to runing parallel north to the large Boulevard Haussmann, where departement stores entrances are. Anyway, get a map or look it up on the Internet, it's very convenient and easy to find.
Action is to be found only on the last strip of the street, where it intersects with the larger Rue de la Chaussee d'Antin.
One big advantage of this area vs others (Saint Denis street for instance) is that it is more of a business + shopping district, therefore very safe even if you're walking around with a suit, a tie and a briefcase.

For what its worth, I used this web site for arranging a liason when I was in Paris in early September. I was there for only one night- a Sunday night- and I think this is not the best time to be looking for a girl to come to your hotel.

Each time I go to Paris, I always find ladies in the area of Haussmann north of Place de Madelaine, north to St Malesherbes church. There is a little corner bistro ( great food BTW) right by the Comfort Inn and I sit there and enjoy the parade as they go by. 10 PM and onward. I want to a night club across from the Louve last night. Downstairs at the bar there always seems to be some working girls looking to make some extra money. Indeed, 120 euros is what you can expect in these places including HJ. The prices usually start at 80 or 90 for a "standard" massage of 1 hour. You may ask for longer time and extra services. The one I mentioned is also offering sauna & jaccuzi. I haven't tried so I can't say what you may get in there but looking at the quite good choice of girls working there, it might be worth a try.

The reason why you did not see anybody having fun is because you had to go to clubs which accept single men. As I said in a p[revious post, real swingers don't go there, they go to couples only clubs. Go to La Cheminee on week ends, with a partner, and you will change your opinion. i spend a fair amount of time in paris and have expended a significant amount if it and the corresponding euros in swing clubs. on my most recent trip i decided to explore saunas libertines to find out if they could be a lower cost alternative to the swing clubs. in a word, the answer is "no. " here are the details of what i found.
sauna club provence, 66 rue de provence, 75009, north side of rue de provence, just east of rue de la chaussee d’antin in the area north of the opera garnier. it’s necessary to ring the clearly marked buzzer at the street door and then get buzzed in to walk up one flight. i was there from about 2-4: 30 pm on a january wednesday. this was my first paris sauna libertines so it’s become the basis for my comparisons to other. to sum it up my experience at provence in terms of action, a young black guy with an outgoing personality could potentially have a good time there. one sixty-plus heavy-set woman with husband in tow did two young black guys while i was there. an attractive 30ish woman with hairy pits, which i personally enjoy, who was there alone, also did two black guys. unfortunately, all of the action took place behind closed and locked doors so myself and the ten other middle-aged white guys didn’t even get to see a show. as i was arriving, three couples were getting dressed and leaving. although they were couples, they had the look of not being married to each other and i’m guessing there they may have ducked in at lunch for some private time away from their own spouses. the place was the least clean of the four i’ve been to so far with towels, condom wrappers and even used condoms lying about. all but one of the eight or so small rooms rooms have doors so it’s not much of a place for voyeurs. provence has a steam room (hamman) that seats about six and a sauna of about the same size. one moderate sized towel is provided. left when there were at least ten men there without any apparently available women. i then jumped on the metro and went to club 13.
club 13 club sauna hamman, 13 rue dussoubs 75002, west side of dussoubs and south of rue reaumer. rue dussoubs is one street west of the infamous rue st. dennis. i was there from about 5-6: 30 pm on a january wednesday. this place is very small with few people in attendance but i was there on one of those right time, right place deals. the changing room and bar/lounge are on street level and everything else is downstairs. the bar/lounge seats a maximum of a bout a dozen and downstairs has a single shower, a small hamman, two small alcoves, one with a door but a window and some glory holes and the other with wrought iron bars and see through gauze netting plus a larger open room with banquettes around it and a final small open alcove. a towel, a sarong and one condom are provided. when i arrived there were one older woman, two middle-aged guys and a tranny sitting at the bar. so after changing i went downstairs and lucked in to the next car of a 40ish woman pulling a train. after a night on an airplane and several weeks of anticipation, it was exactly what i needed at the time if not exactly what i would have described as my dream. the tranny and one of the men were downstairs alone for a long time while i sat in the lounge waiting for something else to happen but no one else came in other than one other guy. i returned to club 13 at about the same time on the following friday. gangbang now seems to be the name of the game here. the most attractive of the four or five women servicing the 8 or so men was an athletic looking middle aged black woman whose husband/boyfriend was taking turns with whoever else wanted a go. of all the saunas, this is the most reliable place for action and is the one i’d head for if i had an itch requiring scratching and i wasn’t terribly picky about who scratched it for me. i’ll probably come back and try it some evening on my next trip to paris.
au sauna des buttes chaumont, (also known as "hippocampe") 11 rue pixerecourt 75020. from the gambetta metro stop rue pixerecourt is an extension of rue de la chine, which goes northbound from avenue gambetta going north from the metro. i was there from about 3-4: 30 on a january thursday. a towel, a sarong and one condom are provided. this place had potential in terms of facilities as it was very clean and had a number of door-less play areas (along with a bunch with doors) in addition to a nice sauna and hamman. unfortunately, it was actually a wasted walk uphill from the metro as i shared those facilities with the four guys who were there when i arrived plus the ten more who came while i sat around for an hour and a half. when the score gets to be twelve to zero, it’s time to forfeit this kind of game so i bailed out and headed to moon city, which i found via their ad in pariscope. simply because of the nice facilities and some positive reports i’ve read here and there, i think i’ll give chaumont another chance sometime in the future. by the way, the ritual at all of the saunas is the same: pay at a little window, or the bartender at club 13, get a sarong and/or towel plus a lock key on a wristband that usually also contains a condom, change into the sarong/towel and then go to it. they all save some sort of a lounge/bar area where patrons can drink and smoke.
moon city. 33 boulevard de clichy, right in the middle of pigalle sex sleaze and just to the east of the pigalle metro station in the north side of rue clichy. this place appeared to be nearly new and someone definitely sunk a very large pile of money into building it. the place is huge with a good sized locker room just upstairs from the entrance and then a huge bar and lounge and a jacuzzi worthy of a us swing club on the ground floor. upstairs are the sauna, hamman and a rabbit warren of little rooms, alas all with lockable doors. it’s decorated in pseudo-asian wood and stone and is very attractive. it could probably comfortably hold about 100 people but there were only about a dozen when i as there from about 5-7 pm on a january thursday. unfortunately, only two of the attendees were women, both stayed completely attached to their husbands/boyfriends and neither appeared to even so much as look at another man. the sole upside is that they were the youngest and most attractive women i saw at any sauna. several more guys arrived but no additional women during the time i was there. both couples eventually wandered upstairs and into a room, both with the usual procession of horny dogs, i mean guys, following behind them and both immediately closed and locked their doors. a number of the guys took turns peering through the keyholes but i have to draw the line of pride somewhere and so didn’t partake myself. if i just got off a long flight and wanted to go hang out in a nice place to use the sauna, hamman and whirlpool to relax, i’d go here. all of the doors don’t, however, don’t appear encouraging in terms of action. a sarong, towel, condom, pair of sandals and one drink are included with admission, which was 40 euros for me.
amphibi. 73 rue hallé 75014, metro alesia. this is the last place i tried. lucky it wasn’t the first or i never would have bothered going to any others. the place is in a residential neighborhood and is a good hike from the nearest metro station. the bad vibes started the moment i opened the door from the street. the little anteroom had various notices taped and peeling all over and looking through the payment window i saw piles of dirty towels and general crap lying all over. when the thin young guy in a white tank top became flustered about making change for my 50 euro note and told me he needed to get someone else, i saw a sign about "masculine and tranny" and told him not to bother with making change. the place advertises in pariscope as a "sauna libertine" for men and women but it’s such a shithole that i can’t imagine any women i know setting foot in the place, much less getting naked.
i planned to try some of these saunas again at other times but then, upon some more thought, decided to not bother as my time and money could be better spent. my conclusion is that sauna libertines, at least before evening hours, are primarily used as a rendezvous for couples who are not married to each other and who are not seeking company other than themselves. all but club 13 have many more private rooms than public play areas, entry cost for couples is low and cash payments are anonymous. i’ll try a few of these places again in the evening but just don’t see them as big opportunities for getting any action.

I live in south Florida, the U.S. capital for swing clubs and been to a number of them in the U.S., Germany, the U.K. and France and thus have a pretty good foundation for comparison and have also become a bit particular about what I want from them. The key to getting what I want is that I’m a regular at Au Pluriel. Sonia and Loie the owners know me, the bartenders, know me, the coat check girl knows me and the guy who does the food downstairs know me. I always get in, no matter how many other people may or not be there. And most importantly, I’ve gotten to know the habits, and skills, of many of the regular couples. Swinging is a ritual for most couples, they do basically the same things every time and Au Pluriel itself is a ritual: the greetings at the door and bar, the hug from the coat check girl, the before dinner drink upstairs in the bar, buffet dinner downstairs, coffee back upstairs and then down to the lower levels for dancing and then on to playing. For me, it’s not just the sex, the ritual is part of the enjoyment of the evening.
Even some of the preliminaries have distinct appeal. I love the sight of women in stockings rather than pantyhose and, especially in the winter, everyone wears stockings and skirts are short enough to show them off. And living in the land of political correctness and sexual harassment hysteria, being able to reach under a woman’s skirt on the dance floor without getting slapped delivers its own set of forbidden fruit pleasures.
I probably find my one on one situations half the time I’m there and they have always been greatly satisfying sex. The other evenings it’s a matter of competing with the rest of the gene pool for those one on many situations but I very seldom leave without getting something. The first is to have rational expectations. Overall, a person needs to understand the role of plain old stupid right place at the right time luck and also understand that any really good looking very young woman is likely an escort and will only have sex with the guy who brought her. The second is to invest some time in becoming a regular at a club, any club. I like Au Pluriel but it’s certainly not the only club and may not be the best club for someone else. But being a regular significantly adjusts the balance between skill and luck and thus greatly increases the odds of having great experiences.
Finally, a word on “best” clubs and “best” nights. Other than finding a woman to attend one of the clubs open only to couples, I don’t think there are any “best” clubs. Now, obviously, some clubs may simply never have any business but that’s pretty obvious and I think it’s more important to find a comfortable club. In terms of nights, about the only truism is that Friday and Saturday nights seem to have more couples that play only with themselves if they play at all. But then they also tend to have fewer single guys as the married ones have their own family commitments. And the goodness of any specific night still depends greatly on luck. I can think of one situation last week where I had a great night because I was in exactly the right place at exactly the right time when one couple decided to play. The guy standing a few centimeters to my right at the same time didn’t have such a good time and the three guys who saw us and showed up thirty seconds later didn’t have a good time at all with that woman.

Sorry I made a small mistake , you can find the vans with the well used North African Girls at the Porte de Clichy , (not porte d'asnieres) , mainly on rue Pierre Rebieres, look at mappy.fr to locate the street exactly.

I was refering to rue Pierre Robieres near Porte de Clichy. By the way "Porte" means "door" as all the access to Paris were genuine doors long time ago!
Women rue Joubert are more numerous, quality goes from "doable with a lot of courage in the dark" to "dpable without alcohol". Just joking, but IMHO Rue Joubert has better quality.
