Just a small update on the Chinese SW in Paris

Mainly there are 3 areas

Most active is the 12 district.

Thank you for this location reference! With prices in Paris, I was getting worried I might not see any action during my visit to the city next week (it's over double prices in my home city). I went to this place just over a week ago during a vacation in Paris. It was difficult to get away from friends, but I managed to squeeze an hour to myself to "go for a walk".

At that point, I felt something wasn't right and insisted on the price. To my horror and shock, they brought me a bill for Euro400 being the table dance and Euro200 for touching the girl. At that point I knew I was conned. Arguments with the establishment as you are all by now would have said, how stupid can you be, obviously didn't work and I ended up with a total bill of Euro780.

Bad experience and stupid of me but I thought maybe a warning to all out there is the least I could do. Please pass on my experience to whomever you could think of to avoid this club called La Diva (across from Moulin Rouge) at Montmartre, Paris.

Many, many years ago, I was walking through the Montmartre area, almost within sight of the Moulin Rouge, and two women approached me outside a club and told me that they wanted to go inside but the club did not allow unaccompanied women to enter. They asked, would I escort them just so they can get inside ? To me, it seemed harmless enough and I grew up in a "big city", and seen and heard about scams. Today, I'd recognize what was going on and keep walking but back then, I said, OK, and walked through the front door with them. We were led to a booth by a host and we sat down. Some fellow punters remarked a couple of years ago on this thread that the street action in Rue Myrha, which used to feature a number of young African providers, had fallen victim to a government clean-up. Well, recently it has bounced back - albeit a few streets further to the north than where it used to be. I've scouted the neighbourhood and these are my preliminary conclusions.

First, the centre in the new action is the corner between Boulevard Barbes and the Rue Labat. End-afternoon and early evening you'll see a couple of handsfuls of providers hang out around the corner itself, and throughout the day individuals and couples walk the streets within 1-2 blocks from this corner. All you have to do is to seek eye contact with the African girls you meet on the pavement; if they stare back, you're in.

Second, this is a hustler's neighbourhood. The girls will offer to take you to a hotel that, according to them, will charge 30-35E for a room, but which in practice may be 15-20E more expensive. Moreover, the bait and switch "I want more money" is in this neighbourhood not an exception but the rule. If you expect a girl to do what you promises to do, then the more fool you!! When we got to the room, my provider suddenly got mealy-mouthed and mumbled "should we undress?" Well, yeah, of course we should undress, that's why we are here. "Well, in that case it's 100E. I don't take my clothes off for less. If you want a BJ in addition to sex then it's 150E".

I marched out. I mean... OK, I was not born yesterday: The 35E she quoted were too cheap by Paris standards and I could have bargained her 150 down to about 60E.
