Poti is a sailor's city. Pure and simple. Kind of dirty and nasty. Okay, very dirty and nasty. But to me, that can be charming.
The basics, as I am first to write here about Poti:
Language - very very very little English. All girls speak Russian and/or Georgian(not even close to Russian). Some girls speak a little German. A larger number speak some Turkish.
Hotels - Downtown is the Anchor Hotel. Costs about $45 dollars maximum. (Pay the max! You get hot water and air conditioning/heat.) In Maltakva(southern edge of city) there is a hotel called Golden Lake. About $30 dollars a night. You roll the dice here on whether you have electricity or not. You will rarely if ever have hot water first thing in the morning, so shower before sleep. In Grigoleti, there is nice new modern hotel. I haven't tried it yet, but I will and let you know.
Every open bar in Poti is a brothel or is filled with girls. Most every restaurant too. Prices are very negotiable. They will start at $100 dollars if you are American. The quality of the girls is quite low overall. So if you spot a good looking girl - snag her then and there. Somehow. I found my first at the New Seamen's Club. (300 meters from Anchor Hotel). First time out I paid $100 lari (not dollars) because she had red hair and looked decent. I have fucked her off and on for the last year and a half - I give her $50 lari each time now (Approx $25 dollars).
That's a good start for Poti. There is more, but I will just get your attention to the city for the time being.
What about the cities in the North of Poti?
It seems to have nice beaches there.
To the north of Poti is the separatist region of Abkhazia. I am told that the beaches are spectacular. But I am not able to travel there so I can't give you the lowdown.
The largest city in Abkhazia is Sokhumi, and while the Georgian government objects, there is train service from Socchi, Russia to Sokhumi.

I just spent a raucous weekend in Batumi. So here is some of the info you want to know. Especially considering this is the slow season! Summertime is even better.
Hotels: Price range from $60 lari to $250 lari. I have now stayed at the Hotel Mercury several times. I pay $100 lari per night for deluxe room. Great place to stay with a sauna and plunge pool at the hotel. Until 10PM there is massage available in sauna for $10 lari 1 hour back massage, $20 lari 1 hour full massage. I have not partaken and this is not a sex massage. But it is a good deal for a massage.
Just ask at the desk about girls. They will make calls for you. If you don't like the one(or three!) who come, tell them you want a different one. No problem. The clerks speak English. Many Russian and Ukrainian heritage girls in Batumi, and I saw 9 different girls the last 4 days - all beautiful! Price range offered was a high of $100 USD (and she wouldn't bargain so we let her go) down to $80 lari. For the entire night.
The hotel officially closes the sauna at 10PM. But each night they kept it "open", but locked so that we could party inside. Take lots of condoms and change them as you change girls if you want. They had little shame as I took one to a private corner for a blow job and then another into the shower for a nice anal fuck. Poti is still the sailor's town it has been, but it has gotten much harder to find a lady in the last few months.
The "New Seamens Club has closed. The "Old Seamens Club" has closed.
The Neptune Club is still going, but the girls are rugged. You might try there and talk to a girl. Ask her if she has a younger friend. If she does, and she calls and makes the arrangements for you, slip her 20 Lari after the girl arrives. The Neptune is fun anyway if you just want to go and drink some beer and shoot the bull with the bartender, Russiko. She speaks English, Russian, Georgian, Ukrainian, some Turkish and some Greek. She might even ask you to dance.
The Mercury is still open but is absolutely bottom of the barrel. Of course that may appeal to some, who like their girls heavy and sweaty but willing to do absolutely anything for the money.
Finally, there is a place south of Poti about 7 km called (and I am not kidding) "The Nest of Love". I have not gone in, so if someone does, let us hear about it!

A new place has opened in Poti; maybe a month old. I went last night to check it out and as always felt I needed to share the info with everyone.
The name of the place is "Nefertiti", and yes the decor is a bit Egyptian. The management has instituted face checks at the door. They are discriminating - rejecting Georgian men unless they know them, and admitting all foreigners. There is no charge at the door.
The building is well lit, and is located on the street parallel to the port road on which the Anchor Hotel is located. Distance from hotel is maybe 300 meters, but I would still not recommend walking after dark - especially alone. A taxi ride will take about 1 minute but would be worth the 4 lari.
Inside the club is clean, lighted well enough to have a good look at the crowd but low enough to allow intimacy. The furniture is new, the bar is modern, and personally I approve of the fact that the club is small, and the furniture is sparse. Sofas are in several locations, with glass tables and chairs for a total seating of maybe 40. Last night there were 22 people when I arrived at midnight. 8 girls included.
I asked a girl to dance and she immediately accepted. She spoke some English which surprised the heck out of me. Very pretty blonde named Tanya, 22 years old. I ended up taking her to the hotel, and in the morning she said she wanted no money. I gave her 50 lari anyway. There were no problems with club staff when we left Nefertiti, and again as always no problems with the staff at Anchor Hotel.

I had a two days vacation in Batumi last week. My first impression was it is beautiful,very relaxed coastal town but unfortunately the beauty of the local women can't compete with the beauty of the town.

Actually there are high season and low season there. So I suggest if possible do not go Batumi in the summer season. The prices almost fix over 30's pros are 100 US$ and for younger you have to pay more and your hotel should be INTURIST or like that higher quality places. But believe that you can not find a taste others like Ukrania or Romania.

The place to find the p4p action is in the disco of the Intourist Palace hotel (also Casino) which open at 10 pm on the weekends (don't know about the weeknights as was only there on the weekends. But I think I remember seeing the ladies go inside on Thursday night as well)

The Clubs along Sheriff Khimshiasvili are full of girls out for revenue-producing evening, especially the club with the big windmill. Georgians, Turkics, Russians and some from 'autonomous' places, not sure which exactly. Some girls hanging around outside between clubs and the water. I was in Batumi for 2 1/2 months from September until mid November. Here is my report as far as street walkers and massage parlors.
Street walkers can easily be found across the street from Vegasbet and Eurobet gambling halls. They are mostly older ones and they will take you to a low priced hotel to do the deed if you don't have an apt near by. Most of them are ugly.
There are dozens of Thai massage parlors in the old town Batumi. They charge around 20 to 25 dollars (Georgian lari equivalent) for oil massage and you can get blowjobs in almost all of them for an additional charge.
Most of the girls in these massage parlors are average looking but some nice ones can be found. Again there are dozens of them with a few blocks of each other in the old town section.
Avoid bars with girls in them, they are almost all rip offs like the ones in Istanbul.

Just left Batumi and can confirm lots of action here. Kutaisi St and Z Gamsakhurdia St. If you go straight to the Thai Spas with all the screaming lights you get CBJs / BBBJ's just like a go-go bar.
