Peter.Public transport in Berlin is excellent. Artemis is just a couple of minutes walk from Westkreuz, a major S-bahn station. I'd pick the hotel for what else you're doing, apart from mongering.
Anywhere around Zoologischer Garten isn't bad. I've used Motel One Upper West close by. Nice bar and good breakfast. Around 20 minutes from Artemis via S-bahn.

Here comes my second report as promised.

First things first, thanks to the seniors around here that helped make my latest trip a success.
