I just spent a few days in Athens and had roughly similar experiences as during my first visit a few years ago (I can't remember if I may have written about that. I arrived at Athens two days ago and have been visiting 20 Euro Filis St. And 10 Euro Kolonou st. To me, the appearance of ladies do not significantly differ between the two streets. First time in Athens. Many thanks to those that have reported before me. Adding my experience.
Scoping out the brothels. The cluster on Fylis is between 40's-80's (between Derigny and Pheron). The cluster on Kolonou & Iasonos runs for 3 blocks. I differ from previous reports and found Fylis to feel safe at night, while I'd not venture into the other area. Granted I was only on Iasonos during the daytime, but even then around the Agisilaou were a cluster of meant burning fires in the middle of the (walking?) street. I didn't count, but it seems the Kolonou & Iasonos had a lot more options. I ended up in Kolonou 32 and had Mega (Greek nice & petite for 15 EUR. Didn't expect GFE for that price, but to her credit she actually seemed like she put some effort into it. It's fascinating that this area is like two blocks away from a highly commercial street. In general, I love the white light concept. Easy to spot even during the daytime, yet low pressure environment to pick & choose.

I had posted prior to my recent Athens tour trip requesting some local intel. The trip is over. I had a great time touring Greece with the group and I also had enough solo time to have a couple of adventures. I stayed at the Hilton and when everyone else wanted to recover for a few hours early one evening. The hotel that I stayed in turned out to be about 3 minutes walk away from Kolonou Street which is the centre of the real budget mongering area of Athens. A quickie here will set you back €10. There are many small brothels in this street and the surrounding area, they are easy to spot as when they are open they have a white light outside. Other than one place that had two girls all the ones that I went into had only one girl working. The area is pretty grim and seems to be where all the illegal immigrants do their mongering, they can be seen going to the brothels in groups which seems a bit strange to me. I had a good look round the knocking shops in this area and was not impressed with the quality of the ladies, I didn't find any that appealed to me.
Filis Street and it's side streets are a slightly more expensive option. The system is the same with white lights outside and one or very rarely two girls working inside. I was negotiating in a place when another punter came through the door, they told him "Greek only" so he left. He looked middle eastern. Why do you prefer Spain?For the quality of service I can get there. For €50 or €60 I can have half an hour with OWO and in some places I can get an hour from €80 and the service will be far better then I received in any of the places I tried in Greece. Transport wise you can buy a 5 day Subway Metro pass for less than $10, the Green Line's Victoria Station will dump you 1. 5 blocks from Filis Street. Subway closes at 11 pm, after hours a cab will run like $3-6.
Same with the Mexican-Georgia subway station on the Red Line EXCEPT once you exit you have to cross two very busy streets to get to the Mexican-Georgia neighborhood. MG's bordelas are in pedestrian alleys not streets so they won't show up on Google Street View but they're there.
In addition to the Whitle Light, look for doors with cloth wrapped around handle to keep latch from shutting, and ambient sound of current hit music playing inside.

First time for me in Greece. Arrive in Athens with cheap Ryanair's flight around 3:30 pm.

Sorry if this is packing too much / fast tracking, but are there other Euro cities like Athens / Thessaloniki that have white light / door way setups in the €20-50 range? Focal cities possibly Barcelona and Budapest, but could add one or two.

There is no "white light" scene in Barcelona.
