Studios in Athens is just a more upper class place which as you said starts from 50 for a normal sex 20-30 minutes. Its not expensive for European standards its normal. Germany's laufhauses have from 30 but sometimes they are like 30 for 1 position and 50 for different. But its the greek addresses that are hard to get ones head round.This of course is true, especially as they are not always transliterated into English consistently. Fortunately the Greek alphabet is not too hard to get one's head around once you start thinking of b's as v's. The city centre, at least Acropoli - Syntagma - Filis - Larissa - Kerameikos - Thissio is walkable (though not all the same day unless you're very fit) and includes most of the main attractions, p4p and tourist. Some are along streets, but many are on two long north-south pedestrian-only alley ways that aren't visible on Google Street View but they are there.

Same as Filis, look for white lights and the rotation / lineups refreshes on shifts.

Also if your starting point is Omonia Square, instead of wading thru the metro, it's a breezy 3-4 block walk to Metax.

When you enter a place in Filis or Metax, either "normal programm" or "full programm" is announced.

If "normal programm" is announced, you are allowed to enter via the front door.

If "full programm" is announced, you are allowed to enter via the front or back door.

It takes quite some walking as 90-95% offers normal programm and only 5-10% offers full programm. I made it over to Fylis area. * It's similarly seedy to Metax. * The area where providers are located is Fylis and Fokeas, one block in either direction on each street. * Not as many providers as Metax. * Waiting*areas a little nicer. * The providers themselves seem more polished, more professional than at Metax, where they seem more amateur* (which is my preference). * Fylis definitely has a higher overall quality in looks for your 20 Euros. I think part of it might be seasonal / mixed with the new Covid world. It might be partly weather related. It's been pretty cold there up until this week. I noticed some drop off on Filis, but I guess I was able find a couple of gems also. I did do a few of the 50 E Studios mainly because I could preview via Gr**celadies. Devoting some non-sightseeing time to the bargain basement hobbying in Athens. Spent a little time in Metax. area on day one. Going price still 10 Euros. Didn't have too much time the last two night I was here but went to the buildings with the white lights near Metax metro. It's really easy to tell which of the locations provide services. There is a bright white light, the door is usually open with a rag around the door.
