Maybe this is the "order out" price, but it seems high to me.

I'm afraid you are going to be pretty limited in what you can accomplish in 5 hours. While there is a good baggage storage place in both the EU and non-EU parts of the airport, Budapest is not quite as straight forward as a city like Frankfurt (FKK) or Rio (Termas) for time efficient sex. Having said that, there are some working apartments in Budapest but I am not familiar with them. There are also several pretty cool little Thai massage places that will give you an excellent massage with "happy finish" for a reasonable price. Good luck.

How much should a taxi charge from the airport to VI district and how long should it take? The food can wait until next time I think.The only taxi company which is allowed to wait at the airport for clients is "Zona Taxi" (+36 1 365-5555). You may, however, call any other taxi to pick you up. Be cautious however. In the most cases, it is not cheaper or even much much more expensive.

Budapest is devided into 4 zones. If I'm right, 6th district is the 2nd zone resulting in 22 Euros one way.

Before boardinging the taxi, you get your "voucher" at the ticket point. The guy speaks English. This is done to assure you won't have to pay more than this amount. The ticket guy will explain to the taxi driver where to go.

Getting to the airport from the city is about the same price (20-22 Euros) as I was told on the phone. Call this number and ask for a english-speaking operator.

Note: dial either the whole number (+36 1 .... etc) or 06 1 365-555 if you use your mobile phone. 06 must precede the "internal national" number. Strage thing. However, the entire "international" number works as well.

I really don't know how long it takes into the city from the airport because I was lucky enough to get a bus, even though they were on strike that day ;-) The bus drives 30 minutes to the Kobanya-Kispest metro station. You are not yet the city though. 45 minutes is the minimum to get somewhere.

Make sure you know from which terminal you fly next. Because there are 2 of them with 10 minutes drive apart. Most probably, it is terminal 2a.

I phoned in a meeting with Jennifer on New Year's Eve and she came over to the flat I was renting in 30 minutes. There are some good networking websites out there but these are not usally going to get you sex, but rather just people to hang out with in a city you are visiting. Most of these are for folks under 30 though.
