Unfortunately, I have to agree with Merlin. Dublin as a punting city is crap! Your casual walkup MP is non-existant, there are a few escort agencies that advertise on internet sites dedicated for the Irish sex industry. These sites claim to be rivals but take it with a pinch of salt, as they are run by 2 or 3 cartels and most of the agencies / indys use different names and numbers, along with different price structures. Like most thing in Dublin, it is not cheap, a half hour service usually is somewhere between €130 - €180, while an hour service starts at €200/€250 and up.
The general rule of thumb standard of service here is of a poor quality and vfm is limited - a usual service consists of a quick back rub (talc/oil), limp wrist effort to stimulate, on with cover (ready or not!), a couple of sucks and climb on for mechanical ride to the finish. I don't mean to paint all the service providers with the same brush, there are a few exceptions to this rule. However, finding these exceptions can be an expensive process and keeping track of some of these girls can be difficult as they tend to move around/change names or occasionally visit from the UK.
The street scene (not my thing), is considered full of scam artists and relatively dangerous as the garda (irish police) activity is fairly hot in these areas - namely along the canal from Leeson St. bridge down past Baggot St. bridge, Fitzwilliam Sq. and Benburd St. are the usual haunts.

Unfortunately the reports from Dublin are all true. I've been here for more than a year, and there is NO action.
The lapdance clubs are an obscene ripoff, but they're not as bad as the ladies on the street. Reports about the Canal, Beggars Bush and the Bridges around there are true -- there are girls.

I spent a few hours in Dublin's red light district and I can confirm, yes, it's crap.
I was there for about four hours on a recent Saturday night, walking around Fitzwilliam Square until I got dizzy. I tried all the streets named in an earlier posting, wouldn't have found it otherwise, so ta, but this is the only place where I found ladies.
I immediately saw a girl who was in her early twenties, a bit skanky and none too pretty. I wasn't that desperate so I gave her a miss. I later saw a girl who was younger and prettier, but she seemed to be falling asleep while standing up, so I thought I'd give her a wide berth too. Dodgy dodgy. A few months ago I drove around the southside canal area near Baggot st looking for SW. I am from Ireland and I have first hand experience of the scene in the country.
You are better off going to the local bars in Temple bar in Dublin and trying to pick up a girl. The prostitutes tend to be in off beat areas in the city centre. Fitzwilliam Square is one I can think off. This is just off Leeson st in Dublin where several Lapdancing clubs are.
The girls tend to be a 3-5 and as it is dark could be a lot worse in bright light. Another well known area was Benburb st but as there a rail works goin on around the girls are few and far between around there now.
Like I said earlier go to the tourisrt bars in Temple bar places like Gogartys, The Quays Bar, The Temple Bar , Bad Bobs, The Turks Head. Just off Oconnell St, The Arlington Bar.

Well, as a national of this conservative nation, I can confirm to all you travellers that if you end up here, dont expect anything decent in terms of this form of entertainment.
Firstly, theres nothing outside the capital with the exception of a handful of 'lapdancing' clubs and brothels in Cork/Limerick/Galway.
In Dublin one would expect that it would have the critical mass as a main european city to have something substantial to offer but this sadly is not the case. (ii). They will make efforts to steal from you - worse yet, should you for any reason find yourself in the vicinity of their pimps, you could find yourself in deep trouble.
(iii). The couple of locations where they operate is monitored by the irish police and its quite likely you will be picked up by them - and potentially charged & brought to court at a later date.
If you find yourself in Ireland, your better off making an effort in one of our niteclubs as opposed to gong for the P4P option.
If you want P4P, procede to Dublin Airport and get on the first flight to a more liberal european destination.
This place has changed a lot but its still sadly a deeply conservative country when alls said and done.

Avoid her at All cost. Absolute scam artist! She coerced me into things I didn't want to do. Coundn't do top and neither let me do bottom. She will Trick you into giving only Hjs.
