Rotterdam doesn't have an RLD anymore. There are a lot of clubs though, must most of them are ripp offs.

I want to share my experience with you on some clubs that are affordable...about 75 Euro's for a whole treat.

There are a lot of bars in Van Vollenhovenstraat and Scheepstimmermanslaan, near the Erasmus bridge in the city centre.

The Zanzi Bar in Van Vollenhovenstraat is a joint like all the others in the area where girls wil ask you to buy them expensive drinks. Off course they get a percentage of that. The scene in Rotterdam is basically clubs only - check local papers for ads.

The Rotterdam-Amsterdam trains stop at TheHague HollandsSpoor station. There are three RLD's within easy walking distance of this rws.

Your roundtrip ('retour') ticket is valid on all trains except Thallys and you can stop anywhere along the route to go walk-aboutin': Delft, The Hague, Leiden and Amsterdam.

The map shows a small part of The Hague:
RLD1 is small and ok
RLD2 is by far the cheapest, but very few women are left - think ghetto:)

Here are my top tips based on a recent trip to Rotterdam :

Plan ahead - most places / girls seem to stop working from 6pm, after 9pm there's not much open. Sunday appears to be dead.

- Metro: from CS, the second stop is Beurs where you change then two stops to Dijkzigt.
- Tram: various options. Work it out at www.9292ov.nl.

Put Rochussentstraat into Google maps and you will see this more clearly, bear in mind that it shows driving routes not walking. You could also vary the route to take you past various clubs on 's-Gravendijkswaal.
