Getting back to the Poço, Portuguese ‘putanheiros’ at the Guia are giving the wrong impression by describing it as irredeemably squalid and dangerous. Theres a place i already visited a few times already.

The efficient Lisbon metro allowed me a few minutes of self-composure back at base before my next meeting. Lisbon, although not a recognised hobby-tourism locale, appears to this amateur to be full of opportunity to those who do some research and are willing to be adventurous.

Some of them can speak a bit of English. However that must not be the criterion of choice… They hardly speak more than 5 words in Portuguese either. You will find that it’s easy to communicate without words…
As for the risk, keep in mind that the standard fee is €25 (20+5 for the room). Some of them may try to squeeze you a few € more, and it’s up to you to please her or not. It’s not unusual to spend 5, 10 or even 20 on top of the usual 25, but only if you think she deserves. Other risks concerning your wallet or security besides the common good sense are virtually non existent.

I just finished a master thesis here, then submitted only to learn that my one hour of paid internet expired. More wasted hours in a day full of them.

There are several places in Lisbon, Avenida da Liberdade corner Travessa Da Gloria, Praça Martim Moniz corner Rua do Arco do Marques de Alegrete, all around the Instituto Superior Tecnico near Avenida Almirante de Reis, near Parque Eduardo VII Rua Sampaio e Pina and around, behind Cais do Sodre around Rua do Corpo Santo ... and others. I am at the tail end of my first ever trip to Lisbon. Due to the kind assistance from fellow forum members (thanks very much Muri and Piotr; I owe you big time), I got some good tips under the condition that I would report back to the forum, so here I am with a tale to tell about my exploits in lovely Lisboa in a three part posting.
Day of arrival:
The first night was more of an exploratory night. Since I was very late with my request for info, I had not yet got any input on what to do and where to go. So I decided to look up the links in some old postings. After looking at several pictures of potential candidates, I made a (very) shortlist of those that fit into my specifications (or should I say, my fantasy). Given the prohibitive cost of calls from the expensive hotel that I was staying in, the first thing I had to do was get a local phone card. Thanks to a helpful concierge, I was quickly equipped with a local SIM card (local Lisbon mobile number). I quickly retired to my room and started on my calls. The first one drew a blank as the pretty lady on the picture was not available. At least, that is what I think the lady at the other end said. Be warned that most of the ladies do not speak any English even though some of them advertise that they do! The second call was to Teresa Collor (www.apartadox.com), whose picture looked very exciting. Unfortunately, we immediately had a major communication gap due to very poor or non-existent Portuguese. After a couple of futile attempts at conversation, suddenly there was a male voice on the phone. Great, I thought, now I have to deal with the pimp. The person assured me he was just a “friend” of the lady and acted as a translator for me. As the girl was not willing to do OWO, I lost interest quickly (measured also by the hardness index of my little guy) but had a very interesting chat with this dude who spoke very good English and obviously knew his way around the women of leisure. We got along well on the phone, and when I relayed the specs of my ideal woman, he said he would look around for me even though my demands were rather utopian and excessive (oh well, one can always hope). We agreed to meet the next day in the evening when he would have more news for me.

Day 2:
After finishing my work dinner engagement, I eagerly called my new friend and he came to pick me up at the hotel. The first stop was a night club called Galleries where the most gorgeous women in the world can be found (ok, so please allow for some exaggeration here). There is no entrance fee, but you need to buy a drink – all drinks are 10 Euros, so be careful to make your drinks last a long time. The girls were mostly good, though there were some dogs that one had to steer clear of. No pressure, one could speak to the girls for a bit without buying them a drink. This guy obviously had some good contacts in this profession, because after a couple of calls, he took me to a private apartment where there were 4 girls available. A fifth was on her way out which was a pity as she looked quite attractive except for the fake tits. Anyway, one of the girls seemed to be suitable and was willing to do FK and OWO, so there I was. Rates are E100 for an hour or E60 for 30 mins. Due to the lateness of the hour I settled for 30 mins with Kelly. Kelly turned out to be a real angel in bed and went to her task with much gusto. Yioup, your report is not only a bit stupid (if you really like this "Lilia" woman, why are you releasing some personal information (having 2 kids and giving their ages) about her on the internet?
And why add phone numbers and addresses to places and girls you've never visited? I showed this post to a portuguese acquaintance of mine and he said a good part of the contacts shown here were obsolete.

I've travelled to Lisbon for business reasons a couple of times in the last few years. It's not a bad place if one can speak portuguese fluently, but fairly limited otherwise. I usually monger more in other parts of Europe (mostly Germany, no match for FKKs), where language is not such a problem.
When I come here, I usually go to Gallery in the center of Lisbon, a club full of stunners which will do TLN in your hotel. The only problem is that it is a bit expensive (200€+ a night) but the girls' performance is well worth it, in my opinion.
For the more cheap-minded, head to Intendente metro station. Cheap SW action, I've met some nice ladies there though. Bear in mind that these don't usually last more than 20 minutes.
I also checked out Murilloa's Pozo recently, it looked pretty decent but as I haven't tried any of the girls yet I can't really make any comments about it.
Anyhow, I'm off back to Germany soon, can't wait to head to Artemis in Berlin!

Pretty clear? you didn’t understand everything, but you know where she is and how to make contact, you know the price, you know this was a good experience. Or, don’t you hate those soccer referees who are determined to be the star, running just behind the ball chattering and annoying the players, whistling every thirty seconds and spoiling the game for everyone?
Just such a momma of a moderator is ‘papa-gatas’. This would be fine if he was also helpful and respectful, but he developed the habit of deleting posts that didn’t concur with his own opinions. There are signs that this is bearing fruit, and several mama-sans and GPs have made their contributions. Some of the GPs must also have seen their income boosted. You may be one of hundreds of girls with a tiny ad in the CM, seeing two or three dudes a day in your apartment in Moscavide… then foulaam or johnnie discovers you, tells the forum, and you are launched into stardom.

I am glad I asked the question a few days ago. Your return put the Lisbon back on fire again! Thanks for the very useful advice. I will be visiting Lisbon in August and I was making a list of contacts from these internet sides. After reading your report I decided to stick with a list of apartments to visit. This was my apprach last year and it was quite successfull. I suppose I can spot the new places in the local newspaper. I will also take a look at the new site in portugese.
Lapin, it's good to know this was useful, but one small word of caution - it is possible that some of the clinics take a break during August.

After I had read so many positive reviews I went to see the famous Diana in the Mirage club.

Here are a few general remarks about my recent experiences in LIS. Details of some encounters are posted below.
Poço: an interesting experience, but I would not repeat. It's just too dirtyfor me and the girls are 4 or 5s at best (see photgallery)
Intendante: during the day I only saw a few grannies and and drug crazed junkies. There a plenty of mean looking African dealers around. Did a quick walktrough and left on the next Metro. I can only imagine how this place must look and feel after dark.
Clubs: went to EB, Gallery and Night & Day. EB was a joke, in the others I saw one a very few acceptable looking ones. Drinks are quite expensive, around 10 € for a draft beer.
Strip Clubs: went to Phocus, in front of the Holiday Inn and to Passerelle. Both clubs were extremly busy with guys (40+50) but only about 8 girls each. No real stunners either.
My conclusion is that LIS is a great city for tourism and that you can have good encounters there, but it is not, inho, a prime mongering destination.
FKKs in Germany or clubs in Spain are cheaper and the girls of a much higher level. If you like Brazilians better fly to Brazil. LIS is nice if you wanna try to cross some more exotic flags off your map like Guinee, Cabo Vede or Angola.

"Poço" refers to the name of a street of downtown Lisbon. You'll get the exact location entering "Poço do Borratem Lisboa" in the Google Maps search box.
There are no strip clubs there. Only 2 or 3 downscale cheap brothels in the vicinity.
Prostitution in Portugal is not illegal, but also is not regulated in any way. A police officer is always present in that small street, but does not interfere with the girls business. Occasionally the police raids that street (and others) and take a few girls (illegal immigrants) for identification inside the nearby police station. A few hours past, they are working again. As long as you don't perform sex in public you should be ok on that matter...

I have decided to report my relatively recent experience (about 2 weeks ago) with Sophia (sp?), from Intendente. Many here have stated the place is full of pimps, and that most of the girls are drug-users. It’s been two months since I’ve last seen Diana. She sure was thin by then – too skinny for my taste: very small breasts, a bit of a child’s body. No signs of needles, of course. The place seems to be a franchise of a Spanish brand. It is really very comfortable and well decorated – even the music is in fact relaxing. The moment you walk in the door, you feel transported to a different world. I enjoyed the Thai massage (140€), by a pretty Portuguese girl called Ana. I spent two hours there, if you include a shower before and another one afterwards. It did make me feel good on a bad day. And yes, you’re naked during the massage (the masseuse wears only panties), and yes, she gives you the most fantastic handjob in the end.
It is expensive, tourist-geared. I see it as a one-time experience, and I am recommending it to friends, but not planning to go back myself.

Downtown Lisbon you may find several hotels within walking distance from Poço.
The nearest - perhaps too near... - is Hotel Lisboa Tejo, 20 meters from the entrance to the pensão where the romanians take their "sponsors". Another 100 meters you have Hotel Mundial (good restaurant with a fine view). Go to google maps and look for hotels around "Praça da Figueira".

Longing for the real thing, I found a lighter, older version of Tânia. Thays Monteiro is a dark mulatta from Brazil in her late twenties. If you arrive and find the place deserted apart from some elderly locals, do not despair, this only means that the Romanian babes and the cops are having one of their little games of cat-and-mouse at the taxpayer's expense. Wait for twenty minutes or so for the police to go for a smoke and a coffee, and you'll see the girls drifting back to action stations.

Having said that I wouldn’t go back to Wayang because I wouldn’t have the money, it took me only three weeks to break the vow.
