Just to let u all know what I found from my recent trip to Algarve. Stayed in Loule for Carnaval, which was ok. Taxi drivers were the best source of info as usual. This area seems to seriously lack up to date info, so I will see what I can do. I live and work in the Algarve, so you can count on this being up to date info! Beware of asking taxi drivers - they know all the places, but will take you to the ones farthest away!
Best place for P4P is Vilamoura - but beware - some clubs are dance only! Korpus in the hotel area is one. Not far away, however, out of sight in the Olympus building (under the hotel) is Kats. A new gentlemans club has opened in the Almancil area of the central Algarve. Situated on the Estrada de Vale do Lobo about a half mile south from the Almancil to Quarteria road the club is on the left hand side, called "Angels".
The owners (formally of the St James Club in Almancil) have done a fantastic job on the internal decor, which results in a really upmarket feel. The girls are of high quality, and some have been brought in from agencies.

Merry Christmas! But not such a happy time in the Algarve. From today, almost all the clubs close until January. The girls are taking a break! Had these days a trip to Albufeira. In the first night I payed a short visit to The Strip with my friends, I wasn't in the mood to spend the night in town, so I returned to the hotel. Next night we've been in Vilamoura. I read this forum before, so I knew what to search for. I arrived at about 10 and we've been to the Vilamoura casino, where I left my friends and hit the road for a hamburger, as I was starving. Had a hamburger in a small cafe and I asked about Korpus. In the cafe it was a computer and the guy showed me on Google Maps. Entered, 10 euro fee, one drink included. It has a really look of a sex club, with almost naked girls, leather sofas and a scene in smoke. Alas, it a "gentleman's club". Been accosted by a romanian girl that explained me the stuff. It starts from a lap dance at 45 euros, something with touch at about 90 ... and probably the sex stuff is the last thing in the least, an astonishing ... 400 euros. She gave me directions for the Cat's, that she said that's a real sex club. Supposedly, the tourist season ends somewhere in mid november, that's why prices are so high. So, off to the Cat's. Couldn't find exactly so I asked the bartender in a bar nearby. The club is a bit away from the street, at the base of the Olympus hotel. What strikes you is that its not actually a sex club. It should be made clear that mongering activity in the algarve is somewhat underpar compared to big city activity.

I spent a few days in Vilamoura last week and just wanted to pass on a bit of information that may be of some use to visitors.
I visited Cats, Korpus and the Sunset Club. Cats was undoubtedly the best. A wide selection of ladies on every night. A certain amount of pressure to buy lady drinks but not too bad. The price charged (per drink) will depend on how naive one is. The basic charge is EUR5 but I was asked for a drink by one lady and she quoted EUR15, to which I declined and she knocked it down to the usual EUR5. I later learned that the girls have to have their cards marked up to EUR15 (bar fine?) before taking anyone out. The price for take out varied too. Some were negotiable. Down from the starting point of EUR200 to EUR100 for short time. I didn't enquire as to the long time prices. Others were not. No rhyme or reason for the picing either IMHO. The most stubborn were often the least attractive. On the whole, friendly girls, good service mostly Brazilain or Romanian and a good atmosphere.
Korpus, by contrast was a disaster. Full of Eastern European teutonic bitches who were out to fleece you. Russian, Ukranian, etc. I didn't get as far as enquiring as to take out prices given the nature of the girls and the place. Approached by a girl who came to chat. Not the most attractive but I don't like to be rude. She asked if she could have a drink. I assumed a similar pricing structure to Cats. WRONG! EUR25. My own fault for not checking. Just returned from a week in the Azores, did not find much in the way of P4P. I was in Ponta Delgada for 3 1/2 days, and was not able to locate a single SW of any variety at all. The moment you walk in the door, a bouncer or doorman tears off a bar tab from a pad and thrusts it into your hands. At that point you are on the hook for a 10 euro minimum consumption, which will net you 2 beers. Its a very small club with a few couches, tables and chairs and a small bar. There was a tiny place with a stripper pole, but none of the girls were dancing OR stripping, at least while I was there. I ordered a draft beer and paid the 10, and within a minute or 2 was joined by an attractive young lady with a cute accent. She finished a drink she had, then got herself a shot of whiskey, and after chatting a while, asked if I would buy her a drink, if I enjoyed her company. I agreed, knowing what I was going to be in for, and the bartender marked down 35 euros on my tab. After chatting a while, she wanted to move over to one of the seating areas, but I declined, and told her I would be leaving after I finished my draft. I tried to apply credit from not having a 2nd beer toward the 35 tab, but was not allowed to do that. I didn't have enough euros in cash to pay the tab, so I tried to put it on a debit or credit card, but their silly little handheld CC device was not working. So one of the other guys working there, very friendly BTW, went with me across the street to an ATM, and I got out a few euros so I could pay my bill, then I went back and had a second beer since it was included in my original fee, then left.
I did not try the other 2 places, but I'm willing to bet that they operate in pretty much the same fashion.
In my humble opinion, as others have stated previously, either try the classifieds or ask a cab driver or hotel employee, other than that forget mongering in the Azores.

I did not fully understand your message. In general, Portugal is not a country where a lot of wild clubs exists. Having returning a couple of weeks ago from Vilamoura / Quarterira I thought I'd give a summary round up of the scene.
Me and my golf buddies have been going to the area every once if not twice every year for the last 5-6 generally in June or September. Sad to say the standard and range of options has fallen off dramatically in the last 12 months. Anecdotally this is due to the local authority clamping down on the clubs. Also a purge by the immigration authorities on illegal Brazilian workers.
Firstly, the clubs. My favourite was always Sunset just behind the Marina in Vilamoura. There you could have whatever you wanted from reasonable drinks and chats with the girls, to a lapdance to a girl back to your hotel. Sadly it is now a sports bar! It apparently was employing lots of illegal Brazilian workers. After Sunset we always went to CATS which is where we spent at least one night and sometimes more. It's really just a bar below the Luna Hotel again behind the Marina. The drinks aren't too expensive and some of the girls are 10's and the vibe is great fun. The takeout price often started at 300/ hour but we generally got away with paying 100/ hour or less for 2-3 hours. After theses 2 we always spent at least one night in the Sanmar. This is a club 2-3 miles from Vilamoura where the girls all have their own rooms so really just a brothel with a bar (terma in Brazil). In the past the standard of girls was always very good 8 or 9 and the service though expensive was excellent. This time though things were very different. Generally the girls were pretty with good bodies but few under 30. From the minute we arrived there was a hard sell to buy coke and other drugs so much so it felt like that was the priority even more than the push for sex. So clearly that is where the margin is. That should have been a warning signal but of the 5 of us who took a girl to their room (100/ half an hour) all of had a very similar experience. The sell in the bar OWO, anal, no rush wasn't matched by reality. As soon as we were in the room it was sorry no anal you are too big, no OWO not until I know you better and then after a few minutes of very mechanical sex "you need to cum" and all the tricks to waste time. So similar was our experience that it seemed that the girls were working to a script. After comparing notes we complained to the boss lady who response was to call security and ask us to leave. We are capable of looking after ourselves but others might have felt very threatened. As a side note the only one of us that uses coke says that what he bought might as well have been pure baking soda for the effect it had. So we won't be back to Sanmar and would give a big avoid. Taxi drivers seemed to be on commission to take you to Sanmar so expect a hard sell from them too.
After those 3 places there is Angels out by Vale do Lobo which is consistently good and consistently expensive but you get what you pay for so we recommend one night out there if you have time Failing that there is Korpus a high end lapdance club near the Casino but with most of the girls happy to meet up out of hours. Girls of a consistently high standard and many more eastern Europeans than other places so if blonde is your thing head there. The dance prices and drinks are expensive and the girls take out price high too but it is a nice club so if money is no objective it is a a safe fun night out.
So in summary of the clubs CATS, Korpus and Angels all worth a visit but Sanmar sadly a big avoid.
Local independents sadly are few and far between and generally we've found are not there the following year so difficult to rely on. They are however often very cost effective if you want party back at your hotel / apartment and we've had all nighters with girls who will play with us all for as little as 300-400 which when divided amongst a group is great value for money. Some Portuguese will help as the level of English with independents is generally poor. I may post a couple of reports on independents but since they probably won't be there next time it would just to get a feel for what you can expect.

OK so I went to Sao Miguel and the scene isn't awful. You really only have 2 strip clubs to choose from and there are a decent amount of girls that can be contacted online.
