Has anyone actually used any of the websites that are mentioned in the forum? Can we have some feedback? Will travel in SPB next summer.

Well if you scroll down just a little bit, you'll see that on May 16th, I asked several questions about mongering in St. Petersburg (SPB). And despite the fact that I didn't get a single response, I'm writing a trip report to share what mongering tricks and secrets I learned while spending a week in SPB. So here we go:
1) I was lodged at Nevsky Forum Hotel:

This hotel is right on Nevsky Prospekt. For those of you who commented on this forum that you used bilingual (English and Russian) taxi drivers to monger in SPB, you'll be happy to know that the main taxi driver for Nevsky Forum Hotel, Alexander, is also bilingual. But interestingly, after meeting him at the airport for my airport-to-hotel transfer and thinking that he was going to be crucial to my mongering success in SPB, I never used him once. Keep reading to find out why.
Another nice aspect of Nevsky Forum Hotel is that a majority of their receptionists are beautiful, young women who are also bilingual. One of them (Julia) looks just like actress Shannon Elizabeth, I shit you not. So it was nice to pass by the reception desk of the hotel multiple times each day and have all of these beautiful Russian women smiling at me..You mention that the girls that you saw all had tattoos. None in the pictures has any. Can you please let us know if the girls you saw are actually the girls in the pictures? Especially about Vitalyna you are saying she had 6 tattoos but in the picture she looks flawless.

Go to Petersburg. Going to Moscow for p4 p is an error. People go to Moscow because it is the capital of Russia and that is all they know. Moscow is too big, too expensive (both p4 p and other things) and unfriendly (like many capitals, but among the worst in this regard). Actually there is not that much p4 p in Moscow anymore, expect for websites and online dating, and that is hit and miss. And when it can take 1-2 hours to get from one location to another hit and miss is very inefficient.

You are right, the strip clubs are rip off tourist traps. You have to go to the salons. It is easier to get in if you have somebody to follow you there and do 2-3 short telephone conversations for you. Like a reliable taxi driver.

I'm new here in St. Pete and have noticed several strip clubs near me. I researched on the forum and it seems they are all pretty much rip-off joints. Are there any strip clubs that are decent? Thank in advance. Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Go to Petersburg. Going to Moscow for p4 p is an error. People go to Moscow because it is the capital of Russia and that is all they know. Moscow is too big, too expensive (both p4 p and other things) and unfriendly (like many capitals, but among the worst in this regard). My apologies to you for the tardiness of this response. I just got back last night from spending a little over a week in Trinidad and Tobago, and I don't check ISG while I'm on the road. And for the record, I never log out of ISG, so even though the ISG system says I'm online, I'm not always.
Okay, to answer your question, yes, the girls I sessioned with while in SPB appeared nearly identical in person to their official photographs posted on the salon websites.

I want to be an accurate and reliable source of information here on ISG and I want to have a solid reputation on ISG. The only thing that bothers me on this site more than someone who lies or stretches the truth (yes, there are a few of those on ISG) are mongers who write trip reports that only say "I went to a country and fucked a girl! It was awesome!" I believe in being truthful, accurate, and specific because I want mongers to read my reports, go overseas and have a safe and fun time, and then come back to ISG and say "Yeah Quagmire1974 was right and I had a great time! Where can I find some curvier, thicker girls in SPB? Are they available in the salons or is the escort route better?
For me, the optimal location in Petersburg is Ploshchad Vostaniya / Moskovskiy railway station. This is at the more operational and less touristy end of Nevskiy Prospekt. There are lots of canteen-style stolovayas where you can go and eat ok food cheaply and not have to wait for it to be cooked. Some of them are open 24 hours. There are various hotels in the area, my favourites being Corinthia (if you can spend a bit), Helvetia (small and cosy, great breakfast, perhaps possible to bring in girls discreetly, though I am not sure) and Oktyabrskaya (soviet behemoth, the cheapest of the three, though nothing is cheap here in the summer half of the year). Oktyabrskaya and Corinthia have som ladies hanging out at night. I don't know how much they take in Corinthia, but in Oktyabrskaya they want 7000 roubles, which is way overpriced compared to the salons (and the hotel ladies are also much older). But 37 year old Svetlana from Oktyabrskaya was worth it.
Nearby there are lots of salons. This time I blasted my way through three:
- Nezabudki next to Corinthia on Nevskiy (mostly a daytime place, always something interesting there, though there were not many girls there when I was there).
- Zazerkalnoe on Nevskiy (new place for me, varied and interesting experiences).
- Krasotki (or something like that), near metro Vladimirskaya (a 15-20 minute walk).
When selecting salons there is usually little point at looking at the pics of girls on their websites. Better to see how many rooms they have (6-8 is good), and then to ask them how many girls are available when you call them). The more the merrier, and three should be a minimum..Great report bro do you have any plan to visit FKK in Oct. If not can you give some tips if you have visited Frankfurt.

The pictures are accurate and she is indeed busty and curvy, but her session with me (detailed in my trip report) was very mechanical. As always, though, with mongers and providers, YMMV.

If you frequently visit escorts, you will know that half of what we see in their photos is a lie. Many of them erase their tattoos, piercings, change their personal information related to age, nationality, hair color, height, etc. To avoid being recognized. You may feel let down to see that they are different or worse than what you saw. Or they could even be better. For example, tattoos turn me on and sometimes I see that they don't have them in their pics but later I am surprised when their tattooed bodies make me horny.

Big warning. St Petersburg nightlife is swarming with scammers. (For those who don't know already).
There are women on the streets and bars, especially on Rubestein, who will be extra friendly with you, chatty etc. They will seem interested in you and lead you on.
Then they will invite you to a bar, where they will rob, at least, 100 dollars min from you. Be careful, some of them are very unsuspecting.
I have been a victim, as well as many foreigners, whom I have met.
1. If it seems to easy, then its a red flag. 2. If they insist on inviting you to a place of their choice, avoid like the plague. 3. Do not ever go to Bar Matreshka!
4. Even be careful on Tinder. If it is too easy, don't fall into the trap.
Safest places to find women are the salons, like Karamelki and Markizaspb etc. Although there is nothing special there lately.

Do you mean that they will make you buy them a drink which will be overpriced?I think what Holden123 is referring to is a common scam that is found in parts of Europe and Russia: You're a single guy walking down the street in a foreign country. All of a sudden, one or two beautiful girls approach you on the street and start chatting you up. You're standing there getting a hard-on and thinking "Wow, I might be able to bang one (or both) of these chicks!" After a few minutes of conversation, the girls suggest having a drink at a nearby bar. You agree and follow the girls to a bar of their choice. You all sit down and the bartender starts serving drinks. After a couple of rounds, the bartender brings the bill and you see that it's hundreds of Dollars or Euros or Pounds. You don't have nearly that much money on you and would never pay that much for alcohol anyway. You start eying the door thinking you'll make a run for it until you notice the bouncer guarding the door looks like "The Mountain" from "Game of Thrones. " You pay the entire amount or negotiate down to a slightly lower price or refuse and get your ass kicked. Scams like this one are referenced in many guidebooks (Lonely Planet, Rick Steves, Bradt, The Rough Guide, Fodor's, Frommer's) and are regularly discussed in the TripAdvisor forum. Personally, I give a very cold shoulder to anyone who approaches me on the street in a foreign country, even more so if they start speaking English in a country where English isn't the primary language. While in SPB, I did have a couple of single girls approach me on Nevsky Prospekt (across the street from Corinthia Hotel) and suggest going to a bar for a drink, but I just kept on walking. Another thing to watch out for on Nevsky Prospekt are pickpockets, who work the crowds (especially near the canals) that build up due to the traffic signals.
I might only add that this scam concerns not only girl that approach you on the street, but also girls you meet on dating websites or Facebook or vk.com or Tinder. A date is arranged, you meet each other on the street at specific address and she almost instantly invites you to a "very nice place" that is "just around the corner". Beware!

Sadly, I was the equivalent of many hundred Euro lighter after only a few drinks. Nice to see the SPB has moved up market in their repertoire of scams. I have never posted on here, however I am doing so now to make people aware of a Tinder scam I suffered from recently in Saint Petersburg. Whilst it happened in SPB, I am sure similar things happen in Moscow also so please be careful when using any online dating platform in Russia!
Basically, I met a woman on Tinder back in June who I was chatting with for some time and then I arranged to meet her on Nevsky Avenue for a drink one evening. She took me to a place called the Secret Service Pub on Nevsky Avenue. I immediately grew suspicious upon entering this bar as it was only around 7 pm and the place was quiet yet it had 1 or 2 security guys on the door, plus my instinct was telling me that the staff there knew my "Date" without any of them actually acknowledging each other, and in addition there were a couple of attractive girls sat at the bar alone. Even though I had these instincts, I still stayed as I had never heard of people being scammed in this way in Russia, or anywhere else for that matter and I am very well travelled. Anyway, the Date kept wanting to go into a separate closed off Karaoke area of the venue which I wasn't too keen on as I had not even had a drink yet that day, and when the menu arrived to order she wanted to order a bottle of wine that was priced around £80 and some kind of meat tray which again seemed somewhat overpriced after the meat tray arrived as it was very basic, however I had not been in Russia too long at that point so I was not aware of what the prices for things should generally be also. I refused to pay for the wine and asked her to order another drink instead, so she opted for a cocktail (which I did not see the price of) and the meat tray, whilst I order a reasonably priced beer for myself. I was getting a bad feeling about the bar still, so I told her I wanted to go somewhere else midway through my first drink, however she was quite insistent that she wanted to stay in this bar. I managed to persuade her to leave after a while, and when presented with the bill it came to something like $80 which I thought was highly excessive but which I felt I had to pay as we had consumed the items. After checking the reviews of this bar on Google some time after, it was clear other people had had a similar experience to me and that this bar was clearly a scam bar. Anyway, after leaving that bar, the Date wanted to go to another bar just a few doors up from the Secret Service Pub, which again looked quite empty and ominous so I refused and instead we carried on walking up the road until I found a bar that was quite busy and looked safe. She was reluctant to go in, but I managed to persuade her saying we would just go to this bar for a couple of drinks. Anyway, when we got in there her attitude completely changed and she began constantly playing with her phone, and after 15 or so minutes two of her friends showed up and I then even get a worse feeling about events and made my excuses and left.
So after a couple more drinks on my own, I went back onto Tinder and started chatting with another girl who, quite quickly, agreed to meet me that night. I had had a few drinks by this stage so I wasn't thinking straight, as there should have been alarm bells ringing as it was around 10 pm at that point on a week day night (not the weekend) and she agreed to meet me after not such a substantial degree of conversation. Anyway, she asked if she could bring a friend, which I didn't mind, and then also asked if I would pay her taxi, which when I asked her how much, she quoted something in the region of £12. Going on UK rates, I didn't think £12 was too much so I agreed to pay it, however after later learning the taxi rates in Saint Petersburg I know that £12 is highly excessive and that taxi's do not cost that much even if you are going from the centre to the airport. Anyway, when my second "Date" showed, her and her friend seemed really nice and I did not have any suspicions this time around. They asked me if I liked Karaoke and so off we all went to a Karaoke bar (which was called Granada Bar on Stremyannaya Ul. 4 according to my credit card receipts from the night). So when we entered this place the girls wanted to order a bottle of champagne, which again seemed highly overpriced (around 5,000 Russian Rubles from memory), however I agreed to pay for just the one bottle to start things off with the intention of then going on to something cheaper as I was well aware of the expensive pricing. But after the first bottle, the waitress kept coming back and I kept ordering this clearly overpriced champagne, even though I was well aware from the first bottle that it was overpriced, which leads me to believe that the waitress must have put something in my drink to make me more suggestive to keep paying for such low quality overpriced champagne (or one of the two girls put something in my drink, either way it was apparent afterwards that both the two girls and the venue were in on this deceptive scam), and the venue even charged an excessive amount for each Karaoke song (I have been to quite a few Karaoke bars around the world and have never been charged per song for Karaoke) and also charged excessive prices for Sheisha, which again I knew was highly overpriced yet I kept paying which leads me further to believe that I was drugged in some way. You were even allowed to smoke cigarettes sat at your seat in this Karaoke bar, which should have raised alarm bells also given that smoking in bars appears to be banned at all the other bars I have been to in Saint Petersburg previous to this bar. Anyway, I cannot remember leaving the bar at the end of the night, however counting my credit card receipts up the next day including the money I took out with me that night, I spent a total in the region of $1,500 (in hindsight it was very stupid to take credit cards out with me that night but I was hungover from the previous night and not thinking straight). The bizarre thing was, that second Date was messaging me the next day asking if I wanted to go out again with her! When I questioned the pricing from the night before she said that was "normal", however we all know that type of spending on a night out is not "normal" for most people! Haha, yes I did post it there and a few other places just to let as many people know as possible so as to try and help other people not experience in the future the same financial damage as I did!
I admit I was a silly boy in the whole episode though, and I could have avoided being fleeced so badly by just applying some common sense as I usually do when travelling, however I was already hung over going into the night in question so I wasn't thinking so straight as I never take credit cards out with me on a night out as that is just asking for trouble! That being said, if these [Deleted by Admin] and shyster venues were working honestly then people could have a relaxing night out without having to think some issues could occur.
I'm not into pro's and found this site by chance when doing internet research as to where I could post online about this scam so as to inform other people. At the time of going to Russia, there was nothing online or in print relating to SPB that mentioned any tinder scams (only general internet scams which I assumed related to the old scam of people asking you to send them money etc) so RTFF wielded no useful notification in this case, and this is why I wanted to post this Tinder scam online so that people were aware of it, however I notice that people have now subsequently posted about this on this forum just a few posts before mine.
Anyway all, stay safe and be careful who you go drinking with as some people can be very deceptive and good actors. And also don't take your credit cards with you on a night out!

Basically, I met a woman on Tinder back in June who I was chatting with for some time and then I arranged to meet her on Nevsky Avenue for a drink one evening. She took me to a place called the Secret Service Pub on Nevsky Avenue. I immediately grew suspicious upon entering this bar as it was only around 7 pm and the place was quiet yet it had 1 or 2 security guys on the door, plus my instinct was telling me that the staff there knew my "Date" without any of them actually acknowledging each other, and in addition there were a couple of attractive girls sat at the bar alone. Even though I had these instincts, I still stayed as I had never heard of people being scammed in this way in Russia, or anywhere else for that matter and I am very well travelled. Anyway, the Date kept wanting to go into a separate closed off Karaoke area of the venue which I wasn't too keen on as I had not even had a drink yet that day, and when the menu arrived to order she wanted to order a bottle of wine that was priced around 80 and some kind of meat tray which again seemed somewhat overpriced after the meat tray arrived as it was very basic, however I had not been in Russia too long at that point so I was not aware of what the prices for things should generally be also.1) First of all it's nice that you have shared your story so everyone can learn something.

I have little time or patience to search such sites, but what I have seen were photos of nude models that swirl around the net (met-art etc.) which were pasted in advertisements for escorts. Hopefully, this will help some mongers out there further find these places, however, Quagmire's directions are so good, I doubt you'll need the photos. Both places are not upscale at all.
Please note that I checked these places in the early afternoon on a Saturday. I first went to Nezabudki, located in the courtyard right across the street from Marketplace restaurant (please note there are several Marketplace restaurants throughout St. Pete so make sure you don't confuse them if using as a landmark). You then took my information a step further and posted pictures, which, I have to say, made me feel like I was back in SPB.
I noticed that you mentioned in a previous post on ISG that you are actually living in SPB, having moved there in 2017. Frankly, I'm jealous, since SPB has multiple museums like the Hermitage, a wide variety of restaurants serving high-quality food, and an easy-to-access mongering scene. Being a resident of SPB, you have the very real potential of greatly expanding the knowledge base of mongering in the city. So my challenge to you is this: Markiza and Nezabudki have multiple locations across SPB, but I only described one of each in my trip report. Somebody sent me a prive message asking som questions about petersburg. I have put them here so that everybody can benefit.
Early May should be a nice time in Petersburg. A lot of light but before the worst tourst crunch sets in. But be aware that even then hotel prices may shoot up and availabilty go down.
You definitely need a SIM card and its very easy to get. Get it at the airport so that its done with. Get one with a lot of data (10-20 GB) so that you can use it for navigation etc. And make sure it has high connection speed throughout the period you will use it.
I speak Russian so I am not so experienced when it comes to dealing with interpreting. Not all hotel staff will help you with such matters, they may be disgusted or just not service minded. So you would need to get lucky and friendly with someone.
Yes you definitely need a reliable English-speaking driver. If you found a good one he could replace hotel staff. I don't know anybody, but some smart Russian should get into this. It could be a great little business.

I am not naf and I am fully aware this very positive review might look suspicious after my long silence here. So yes I understand the sceptical attitude of some readers. I love this site but I am afraid I am more a reader than a writer. After 5 min the waitress came and asked if I want to offer a bottle of wine to the girls.
Last night my buddy had a bad experience in a bar and paid 100 $ for a bottle of wine so I felt something is not right. It looked liked a similar scam.
So I stand up and apologized and said I have to leave now because there is an emergency.
At the exit the doorman said I have to pay my bill first.

At that point the one of the girls who I was supposed to meet came to me and said why I am ruining their evening etc. And I should not involve the police.
So I interrupted the call and tried to find a smooth exit of this situation.
After almost one hour, they accepted that I pay only one cocktail and leave.
Horrible experience!
So 5 min of chatting with two girls costed me 50 $ !
Beware! Choose yourself the bar where you meet with the girls. Don't seat at the table if you feel something is wrong.

I read up on the report about Markiza and the other salons. I figured I'the try the Markiza location along the river a few blocks off of Nevsky. The address is 67-69 Naberezhnaya Reki Fontanki. It is the street along the river. If you are coming from Nevsky it is immediately after a hair salon named PARK. You make a right into the archway with the big iron gate. There is a bell with a camera and a button with the drawing or a bell on it (not the one with the keypad on it). I rang the bell but did not have to speak, they rang me in. Once through the gate, go to the right into the courtyard. You will see another iron gate and through the gate is a door on the left that has a red and white sign for the Arlin Hotel (in Russian). That is Markiza.
I almost rang a bell on a different door when I made the right. After a minute or two the madam came out and invted me in. It was about 630 pm and she told me (in decent English) that there was only one girl. I waited in the bedroom to see the girl. The girl was very tall and kind of heavy. Not my taste at all so I told her I would come back. She said there would be 4 or 5 girls after 8 pm. Just as I am putting my shoes back on she says that one more girl is available and did I want to see her. I figured she would be a big girl like the last one, but I might as well look. I tried to go to some Karamelki salons. One was a few blocks off Nevsky close to me but they did not speak English when I called. There was a recommendation for ayspb Rthis thread. Maybe the northern location was good, but the location on Fontanaka was not a good experience. Signs to look out for, and usually with 18-25 year old girls.

As a long time passive member I finally did a trip to st. Petersburg and wanted to share my experiences.
Things to bring with you:
- about 50-100 euros should be changed into rubles in your home country for 1st expenses (tips for taxidriver to hotel, liftboy, prepaid phonecard etc.).
I got a much better exchange rate in st. Petersburg. My VISA gold creditcard allows me to withdraw money from ATMs without.
Further charges 3 times a year. I used that and got 78.5 rubles / euro which is very good. Only better place was a suspicious looking.
Place in a backyard at Nevsky prospekt 83 (just a small sign with a Euro and Dollar sign on it pinting ack there). They got me 79,4 rubles / euro.
Without further fees.
- a Smartphone.
Get a prepaid phonecard at the airport. I got one from Tele 2 with Internet only (no phonecalls or SMS possible). This cost me 350 rubles for unlimited.
Internet. I used the phone with the following very helpful apps: Microsoft translator, google translator, whatsapp, google maps, Uber and a random mail app. This makes navigating and setting up dates much easier.
- a laptop.

RAI is where I had bad service, I can't recommend them. They told me all day they had a ton of girls, more than. The website showed. When I showed up one girl and her service was awful. I was is Spb in April, here is a little feedback.
I tried independents who speak English on Rusdosug.
The one I went to actually spoke very correct English despite having only "1 star" for this skill.
Nice apartment, good performance.
I think you can trust comments on this site to know if it is worth it or not.

I also tried salons. My experience here is that you should be prepared to be disappointed. Photos are heavily photoshopped and the lower the price, the higher the chances the girl will not look at all like the pics. If you dig a little on internet, you can find pics of girls at Ray with the face: prepare for a shock. I don't advise salons below 4000/ hour. Another member was asking me some questions by PM about my posts from around 2014 that things were getting worse in Russia. I thought why not share with everybody for our mutual benefit and organizational memory and learning.
I only go to Russia about once a year now, so I can't say I follow the situation closely. But I feel I know the place well enough and go there often enough to have a reasonably good feel of the overall direction of developments. Unfortunately I don't think things have changed since 2014. Either they are about the same (due the economic downturn caused by sanctions and the oil price collapse) stopping the mongering situation from getting totally bad, or the mongering has continued the same downward trajectory because Russia has actually managed to pull through the crisis reasonably well.
Yes you definitely get cold ones in Russia too. No kissing, no BBBJ, listerine on your nipples, upselling, etc. That has always been the case but it has become more frequent.
This whole thing about soul depends on how you define it. Only parts of what people think about as Russian "soul" are really long-term cultural. Part is that orthodox culture is similar to Catholic, so if one comes from a non-Catholic country that adds some soul straight away. Another part of "soul" of Russian girls is about the lack of men after World War II, and then maintained by heavy drinking, smoking and risk-taking which assured a continuing deficit of Russian men. The post-Soviet period had some special characteristics, but those are not so relevant anymore. We are now in another era. Russians are well travelled, foreigners are not really exotic anymore, there are not so many poor people etc. This is especially true in the biggest cities. In rural locations it may not be so true, but there there are other barriers, especially if one wants to do efficient rapid-fire mongering like me. If you are looking for a nice wife and have the time and patience to go to the provinces I expect the chances of success would still be reasonably good.
If you have to have white girls, Russia is probably still one of the better places (perhaps along with Germany). 1-St. Petersburg is better in salons (and the prices compared to Moscow are a bit lower).
2-The Strip clubs are in Moscow (and the prices compared to St. Peter are a bit higher).
I wish I could recommend you some strip clubs in Petersburg, but unfortunately I am rather a saloni monger, so maybe another user can recommend you better than me.
But as a city (in general) I like more Petersburg, this beauty grey melancholy is just fine with me.

I've been to Peter. Nice beautiful city. Just the weather is not my cup of tea.
There is some action going on on Kazankaya 35 (enter the yard, go to the left, then I think 1st floor, or Russian Etagi 2) ring and wait.
