Some answers:

I have limited Russian skills, and so could make out ads in the local newspapers, or on the Internet here. How do people react to me, they don't, you and I both look like Russians until we speak. As for safety in the salon, I felt much safer as an Explorer sandwich between two hot and sweaty Russian girls than I do walking down the street in Los Angeles.

As I headed into Saturday night, I decided to splurge a little bit, and try the Novisibirsk version of the TJ massage parlors, in fact, I decided to go for broke, and go for the most upscale MP I could find. After checking the local internet sites, I found a 2 girl special at what was describe as a Thai massage parlor. After talking to one of the girls at the parlor, it turned out that it was just a 10 or 15 minute walk from my hotel.

That 10 minutes ended up taking almost 2 hours, since the way the Russians number their houses, in fact the whole address scheme in Russia, is designed to confuse the enemy, and I was.

After much consternation, I was finally greeted at the MP's street entrance by a lovely young lady, and escorted up a half dozen flights of stairs to the MP itself, which was housed in a standard apartment. The decor was mixed Scandanavian and Asian, and Indian music played on the stereo. I was seated in what was probably the living room, and the hostess was seated in the same room, on a large couch across from me.

After some small talk (and trust me, with my Russian its just really small talk), we got down to business, the 2 girl/2 hour special was 1600 rubles ($60). Thinking back to what TJ MPs charge for similar services, I jumped on it. After the hostess grasped what I wanted, she brought a 2nd girl in (the hostess was Marina, the new girl was Vera), and stated that this was the whole package. Great.

I was asked to remove my clothing (since this was a living room, I wasn't too sure about this, but once Marina walked back into the room naked, I got the idea). I was shepherded into the bathroom, where a very large tub was being filled with soapy water. The idea was for me to get in the tub, and the two girls would stay outside of the tub but would work on me while I relaxed. And they did. Lots of rubbing and light touching under the soapy water.

Let me take a moment to reflect on the two girls. For some reason, Siberians are really big on French style girls (somewhat tall, very thin, small breasts), perhaps because they are the opposite of the stereotypical Russian woman. These two girls fit that type exactly; although this is not my favorite type, it will do in a pinch, and I was about to be pinched.

Next scene, I am being hosed down and dried off, and led into the bedroom, where the girls continued to dry me off with some very touching of a very light towel, and then the massage began. Those of you who have been to Thailand probably have realized by now that this was nothing like a Thai massage, but these weren't Thai women, either. The massage was basically the standard Russian masssage, lots of very hard rubbing, with some light touching in sensitive spots, as well. I noticed that one of the girls was getting pretty exerted from the rubbing, and had to rest from time to time. Still, having four hands over my body for over an hour was worth the flight from Moscow.

Then, the massage turned from hands to bodies, with the two girls alternating rubbing me with their chests. At this point, things got very interesting. They rolled me over, and the rubbing continued, with me taking advantage of whatever body part happened to rub my way. As much as I tried to hold on, I couldn't, and some girl got a load of me, at this point my eyes were closed, so I have no clue who got what.

That's supposed to be the end of the massage, but it wasn't. The two girls then got into cuddle mode, but it turned out that their intent was to provoke round two. This is where things got interesting again, because it reminded me of one of those movies where the good guy gets tempted by the devil with lithe naked women slithering around him. At this point, I realized that this massage was not to be confused with the TJ variety.

OK, just when I was ready to pounce on one of the girls, time was just about up, and I was led back into the bathroom. Here, one of the girls hosed me down while I stood in the tub, and then started rubbing me down below to see if she got a rise out of me. She did, but I was in no condition to actually finish anytime soon, and I let her know before she rubbed me into oblivion.

I was led back into the living room, and I got dressed while the ladies got me some tea. I ended up giving them each a nice 250 ruble tip (divide by 3 and you get the amount in pesos, divide by 32 and you get dollars). They were pleased, I was pleased, and it was out into the cold again.

I planning to travel to Russia sometime during the next year for about three weeks to undertake cultural and sexual explorations. I already have been to Moscow. In this trip I will visit mainly provincial cities. My interest is not focused merely on Russian girls. I am really interested in Russia in general and I also study Russian language. I really want to see the life in provincial Russia, but in each city I want to explore local opportunities for fun like massage parlors, salons, nightclubs etc. Based on the posts on this board it seems that it will be a lot of fun to see cities like Samara, Voronezh, Novosibirsk etc. I might end up doing this trip alone like Explorer8939. Neither Samara nor Voronezh has a really well developed mongering scene. However, Voronezh is probably a little cheaper, and easier for a newbie. Take the overnight train from Moscow, it gets there the next morning.

Hitting the Jackpot

The prime reason for mongering in Novosibirsk is the supply of hot and cheap women, this is why the city is called the 'Bangkok of Russia'. Most of my adventures, however, ended up as what Russians call "VIP" mongering, ie upscale, and more expensive girls, sort of the Executive Massage of Novosibirsk.

Today, I decided to go downscale again, way downscale. I checked out the local newspaper, and found a salon that offered no frills, 400 ruble an hour girls (they don't say that in the paper, they just give a telephone number, and you have to work out the details over the phone). During any one telephone conversation, I generally understand about half of what I am told, so I usually get the gist of it. So, I was instructed to call the salon back when I got to a certain payphone at a certain address. The payphone was real easy to find, it was right at the street corner, the problem was that I didn't have the right card to pay for the phone call. So, off to the post office to buy a card. Except the cards weren't in the post office, they were in the telegraph office next door. Bummer. So, I bought the card, it cost 25 rubles or so, trudged back to the pay phone, called the salon, and some girl jabbered something at me that sounded like "I am coming to get you", so I told her I would wait, and I did. Within 5 minutes some girl showed up and told me to follow her, a good thing because I was just about a minute away of dying from the cold.

OK, it turned out that the salon was half a block from the address given for the pay phone, they were clever, since the people in the salon could monitor the phone from quite a distance away. After some trudging, I entered the salon, which was just another apartment, and was welcomed by a group of girls. I was ushered into a rather sparse bedroom, and the woman in charge of operations started talking to me in Russian, but using words I didn't understand. As is normal, I was able to resolve the issue by asking questions using words I understood. So, the deal was 400 rubles an hour.

In walked 3 girls for me to choose from, 2 were so-so, one was maybe a 6 or 7. I chose the 7, who seemed rather reluctant to participate, she was sort of hiding in the doorway. After the usual shower, the girl (Alexandra) walked into the room wearing a robe, and off came the robe, and I realized that the girl wasn't a 7 she was at least an 8, maybe a 9, about 5 foot 5 inches, very large breasts, only the hint of widening at the hips, very tight, and had the common Siberian tanned look.

I am finding out that the Russian hooker playbook is somewhat limited, they either know how to do an initial massage and then whip on the condom, or they skip the massage to put on the condom, either way, the condom gets on real fast. OK, for $13 who am I to complain? After an extended CBJ, she mounted me, and began an extended up and down, during which I considered the possibility of my having a hip displacement.

So, we changed positions, I put her on her back with her legs in the air. This one didn't have the longest legs, but was very flexible, she could extend her legs sideways to the point that I could barely touch them.

Then, it was sideways, she was on her back still, but one leg to the side, and the other straight up, so that I could hold onto the leg for some traction. This was the position that got me. Normally, I would have held out for more, but for $13, what the hell. So, I feel backwards onto the bed, and began asking her about her background, it turns out that she was from some small city some distance away from Novosibirsk, and was just in town for a couple of months to pick up some cash.

After that, I showered, and gave her a 200 ruble tip, which she acted like she had never seen before. I mentioned an interest in going to a sauna the next day, and that seemed to get her all excited (ie, getting another big tip), this provoked a flurry of activity as the other girls scurried to get info on nearby saunas. OK, having the info on hand I said 'hasty banana', and was out into the cold again.

If you're ever in Novosibirsk, call 11-05-24, and ask for Alexandra, you will get your 400 rubles worth.

You said that Voronezh and Samara don't have a well developed mongering scene. Are there at least salons in Voronezh? Did you see telephone numbers in the local papers? Plenty of girls advertising in the Voronezh local newspaper, just a telephone number, though. Also, don't forget that the Hotel Brno provides girls at 700 rubles an hour, right to your hotel room.

I don’t know situation now. In any case, you need good Russian friends to go there because you can become easy target for criminals who also like these places very much.

Voronezh is a small city, 3 days would be a push there. The trick is to take the overnight train from Moscow, get there in the AM, book yourself a room at the Hotel Brno, relax a bit, head for the saunas, and take it from there.

Club Flamingo is the bar for the casino attached to Hotel Brno. There used to be strip shows there, now its more like the local high school dance hall. I guess with enough patience you might find some available local talent, but you can't get them into your hotel room, so why bother.

There is a nice sauna under the casino, BTW.

Hotel guest policies are very strict. Unless you are sufficiently fluent in Russian to argue with security guards, don't plan on bringing outside girls into any Russian hotel. Of course, the American owned hotels in Moscow are the expensive exception.

Yes, Novosibirsk is nice, and there are lots of girls willing to spread for you. You can get in a taxi and cruise down one street -- I forget the name, but if you let him know you want girls, he will take you -- but make sure you can bring her back to your hotel. I had a hell of a time, and had to go rent a room somewhere else to enjoy what I had found.

Also, check the papers for "dosug" or salons. I spent two hours with a top blonde model for less than $40

Hotels are cheap in novosibirsk as a general rule.

Two sites: www.intinsfera.ru and www.****.ru (this one is the best). They inform about at least one English speaking girl, Juli.
Also call 925183 ask about English speaking girl. The price for Russians in Novosibirsk is 400 - 550 rubles (12 - 15 bucks). Good luck

I tried flying as a courier once when I went to Brazil. It cost me $350 for round trip to Sao Paulo from Miami. Of course there's a catch. they don't give you the return ticket, because they're afraid you'll sell it. Yeah right, like I'm going to stay in Sao Paulo for the rest of my life and never return to the USA!

So they tell me that on my return, to come a few hours early and wait by the ticket counter for the freight company's errand boy to meet me and he'll have my ticket. So I wait and wait, watching everyone else check in and board, and I'm asking the guy at the counter if he knows anything about courier tickets, and naturally they know nothing. Hours go by and I start to freak out cause the plane's leaving in 15 minutes and ten minutes later he finally shows up. I do an O.J. Simpson through security and am the last one to board.

The other catch is that you can't check a suitcase, you can only carry on a bag. when I went, it was before 9/11, so I had scissors and other prohibited stuff that you can't carry on anymore. You can save a chunk of money, but there's always a catch!

I have taken at least ten courier flights for five years, from New York City to destinations like Brazil, Singapore, and Europe, but that was before 9/11 event. I used to be a member of International Association of Air Travel Couriers. You do not have to be a member of this association to travel as a courier.

Nowadays, Jupiter still "hires" couriers for a few destinations. Try http://www.jupiterair.com/courierflgt.htm and good luck with that. I am sure there will be other companies too.

I agree with all of what Mangus Man said and that there is a catch! In my case, I got used to those "catches" after a couple of flights. BTW, I never paid over $150 for any flight anywhere, because I picked my flight and the destination a day earlier. Sometimes, even the companies would call at my work and would ask me to fly to some place the next day for free. Magnus Man must have booked his flight atleast a couple of weeks earlier and that cost way more. Oh yeah, they would fly me first class on some occassions. No wonder, my ticket was the highest paid airfare. ($2,000-$8,000)

Now that I think more about it, I probably did pay less than $350 for my courier ticket, it was probably more like $260 or something. But I couldn't wait until the last minute like you, because to get my tourist visa ($90) at the consulate office, I had to show my plane ticket to get the Visa. And I had to wait 2 weeks to get an appointment to get the Visa. Always the catch!

I still saved a CHUNK of cash, which of course I blew on my garota de program at the Kiltch boite in Sao Paulo. A good suggestion to go there from my hotel bellboy. I was glad to let her empty my wallet. She spoke no English at all, so all 3 hours were spent exploring every orifice of her tan blond perfect 18 year old juiciness, with only the sound of her talking dirty in Portugese. She had absolutely no mileage on her, and she was lovin' it big time. I think she should have paid me!

She really relaxed me, which I needed, because the flight TO Brazil was not any fun either.

At the Miami airport, there were 3 flights that evening. They told me to get there at 2:00 in the afternoon, and then they just had me wait around, so THEY could get the cheapest ticket. I forget the name of the better Brazilian airline, but I watched that flight, ( was it Varig?), and then a United flight leave, and at 9:00 they said ok buddy you're on Air Brazil or some piece of crap airline, and my seat was in the back of a full flight, with guess what, smoking permitted!

Hey, guess where ALL the smoke goes? It really sucked!

Last January I stayed at the Atrium Palace. It was Midnight when I arrived and so I asked the Guy at reception if he could get me a girl in 30 minutes he was at my door with 3 stunners. Irkutsk - "The Paris of Siberia". Like most Siberian cities (except Vladivostok and Khabarovsk) the price of women is considerably lower than in Moscow and St Pete. A recent sojourn out to meet some friends in Siberia found me sneaking off into the evening to sample the hookerage in this laid back city.

The best way to find working girls in Irkutsk is to buy locally published papers in the news stands. Often the primary function of there is to sell second hand goods, but there is inevitably a section for ladies of the night.

I was staying with a girlfriend so I couldnt exactly bring a working girl back home, so I had to make sure I asked for one who had premises to shag in. You can do this by stipulating "apartamenti" in your best russian accent during negotiations. It was 10pm by the time I got away from my girlfriend and found a phone to call some numbers I had circled from the paper. I was sent out to the "Aeroport" hotel at Irkutsk Airport. Right in front of the hotel entrance was a russian car (lada or zhiguli) with a guy in front and 3 girls in the back. I wasnt sure if that was the car for me, but as I began to walk over, two other guys approached the car, negotiated with the driver, paid over some cash and the three girls got out and stood facing the two guys. They picked the best 2 and disappeared into the hotel, with the girls they had picked and with the driver. The driver reappeared 10 seconds later and sat back in the car with the remaining girl. I then wandered over and began my negotiations.

One hour, including a room at the zero star "Aeroport Hotel" was 400 rubles. A whopping 12 bucks. Unfortunately, I was left with the least of the three girls initially sat in the car. The driver accompanied us into the "lobby" (if you can call it that) of the Hotel and slipped the night porter 100 rubles. He then took us up to the room. The room was soviet. No other way to describe it. A single bed and black and white TV in the main chambre, while a rusty bathtub with leaky taps in the other.

I do like to chat to the dyevs before indulging their services so we talked for about 10 minutes before she went in to the rusty bath tub for a "top n tails" shower. She was 19, and from a village about 250kms outside Irkutsk. She had a top body (as you would expect from a 19 year old) but a bit of a duck-face. She spoke zero English. I asked her how much of the 400 rubles she got, and she told me 100. So that means the split goes 100 for the night porter, 100 for the ***** and 200 for the pimp. Now earning 100 rubles for a shag is pretty low, but this was Siberia.

Unfortunately gentlemen, as she had a duck face and as she was not enthusiastic about her work, it was not one of those occasions that lends itself to "gentleman's photography", so I have nothing visual to offer.

My Russian is ok - good enough to get by you might say. Good enought to read a classified advert regarding ladies of the night and have a basic conversation with the woman on the other end of the phone.

As for Irkutsk, you wont meet that many foreigners there, unless you go to the 2 main hotels in town. One is the Intourist hotel by the river, and the other is called (I think) the Angara. They have cash machines and bars where you might find some westerners.

All of my contacts in Irkutsk are now female and know me only as a respectable foreign businessman who they happen to sleep with every now and again. That makes it impossible to introduce anyone to them unfortunately.

I can suggest though if you are there for any length of time, that you pay a visit to the foreign languages intitute in the centre of town. Its part of the university. English language is studied almost exclusively by females 17-20. Most of whom you will find are attractive, some obscenely so. Offer to help out with some classes - a bit of native speaker pronounciation - for an afternoon or two.

Finally, I have no idea how much apartment rental is in Irkutsk, but I would guess you would be able to get something in that price range. How long are you there for?

I was just on a business trip to Irkutsk and can recommend the Intourist hotel for strip and more (I think that might be the old name, although everyone still uses it. I think it's called the Hotel Baikalsk now).

There's a bar in the basement with a strip show and lap dancing. Room service at the hotel was good to. You got the usual calls up to your room asking if you'd like "to spend time pleasurably in the company of a girl," but you could also the guards on the security desk on the left as you walk in. In about half an hour they'll bring up about five girls for you to choose from for 1500 rubes (fifty bucks) an hour.

I was actually overpaying and the price should have been 1200 a Russian friend I was there with told me - I'm not a great haggler. The girls were 8-9 and a lot of fun, easy-going. In the bar downstairs there was also a rich selection. I speak good Russian, so I'm not sure how easy all this would have been in English.

And be warned. There's a sign in English on every floor offering a 'special massage.' It may be 'special', but it's no good for our purposes (unless you've got a bad back or something).

SAMARA: Was not able to solve the riddles in Samara. Stayed at the new Renaissance ($240 net) and had to settle for home delivery. Security guards are friendly and take their end from the gross. Net transaction $50 for a girl to your room for one hour - pay him, then tip her. Problem - they are not hot - why bother? Beat, C-league, not sexy or cute! Tried to work the scene in the centre. Despite the previous post from somebody, there were NO girls at the hotel national. You need a proposk to enter if you are a non-resident and after fighting with the bastard and threatening him in my usual way, I go to both 2nd and 3rd floors -empty. NONE of the taxi drivers are a help. One strip club - dead 500 pp to enter. They call the Salons and you cannot go there. You must wait in the taxi in some freezing parking lot forever and a car shows up with two to four ugly girls. You refuse, and everybody goes home. There are NO on-sale establishments: massage parlours, VIP saunas, ***** houses (that I found) where you could actually go someplace and choose. No, you must call and wait around and then something lame arrives. By the way, I have seen the pics that some of you have posted and they are 99% DOGS so maybe this Samara scene is okay for the uglies-only US/UK sod. Also worked the club scene (four clubs) and got one HOT 17 year old's number. Trying to fly her to Moscow for a weekend but did not close anything.

Concerning my question about Krasnodar, I can answer it myself. The information may be useful for others going to less popular places.

I stayed in the hotel Moscow on the 5th floor. (There is one other big hotel in Krasnodar, the Intourist which probably functions the same way).

First night I went out looking for action but I knew I wasn't going to find any in this backwater. I had expected one or two ladies in the hotel lobby when I got back but there was no-one. I was mentally prepared for a celibate nine days.

When I got back to my floor, the floor lady asked me if I wanted a madame and pointed to the bar (each floor has one). I went to go in but was badly threatened by a very drunk Russian with two of his friends and girl friends. There was no-one else there so I went to my room wondering what on earth the floor lady had been referring to. There is no such word in Russian.

The next night I took a drink in this bar before I went to bed. There were three girl-friends sitting around a table but none smiled or made eye-contact. So I went to bed. At 23.45, the phone went and a female voice asked me if I wanted a pretty girl. I said yes and within 5 mins, these same three girls were being paraded in from of me. Bliss. Just RR1500 for one hour (about Euro 43). At that price I had one girl a night and on the last night, I took one for two hours. I was binged out, except that the more I get the more I want. I didn't wait for the phone call after the first night, I just went into the bar and ordered one; even ordered one particular girl by asking the floor lady to call her out.

These Russian girls are stunning and they do an awful lot more than their Dutch counterparts for the money (I live in Holland). I had only one really bad egg. She was only 20, the only one who looked like a hooker but just wasn't interested. The rest were all up for it. Interestingly, none of them understood about a hand-job. When I asked them for a second-coming with the hand + oil (which I supplied), they were really surprised. Clearly not in their culture. It was straight back to oral and a second round as the first.

Am now leaving Kaliningrad for St.Pete after a two night stay on business.

Kaliningrad is not a legitimate mongering destination...whatever that means. :) Not for lack of cute girls and a second world economy... but geographically it is impractical. Kaliningrad... for those who don't know, is located in a little sliver of land sandwiched between Poland and Lithuania on the Baltic sea coast. There are about 1.2 million people living in the area, about 450,000 in the city itself. It is Russia...but then again not really. It is not physically connected with the rest of Russia and is not easily accessible by plane, train, bus or car. Aeroflot and Pulkovo fly there from Moscow and St.Pete respectively. I think there are flights from Poland as well. So if you are looking for a provincial Russian mongering destination, you'd likely find places like Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk etc. more interesting.

If you do happen to be there it is likely on business and if you are there, it can be a great place to meet women of flexible values and variable moral standards.

I have been there twice, both times staying at Hotel Dona. I don't have a point of reference as I haven't stayed in any other hotels, but I found Dona to be quaint and girl-friendly, although the girl I took home was a regular girl and looked clean and classy... they might react differently to a skanky looking pro. I also made a point of chatting up the girls working the desk and establishing a friendly relationship. In the same building as Dona there is a restaurant called "Dolce Vita" with average tasting cuisine but a nice atmosphere. No pros working the restaurant bar or hotel though.. it is small (about 12 rooms) and caters to Russian and German tourists and businessmen. Rooms 86 euro a night...which considering the fact that K-grad is a relatively cheap place is quite high.

If anybody has info on pros working any of the other larger hotels like the Lukoil owned "Komandor" or the soviet style "Hotel Kaliningrad" kindly report.

Following Sam2004's advice I went to "Planeta" on Sunday night. As is it turned out, I had actually been there before but had forgotten the name. It is an entertainment complex with a pizzeria, a restaurant, game room, casino and night club. The pizzeria is crawling with young women... including a noticeably high percentage of blondes... was very active considering that I was there on a Sunday and Monday night. Word of caution though, most girls seemed to have boyfriends. On two occassions I was just about to make my move and sit next to some girls and chat them up when their meathead boyfriends showed up.

Russian guys under 25 in K-grad all wear the same uniforms... the kind of wanna-be mafia dress popular in Moscow in the early 90's... either jeans with black leather jackets and shaved heads or a track suit with trainers. Laughable to look at, but tough as hell in a fight.

The night club in the Planeta complex opens at midnight and costs 50-100 rubles entrance depending on the night. On the Sunday I was there it was about 75% full... very good for a Sunday. Lots of cute girls, about 3 girls for every guy. There are strippers dancing constantly, although in lingerie and not completely nude. If you sit next to their dancing platform you can get a great view of their snatch. Strippers very very cute on the nights I was there... one of them was incredibly sexy... 5 foot tall, six pack abs, red hair and slightly Asian-looking slavic eyes. The strippers disappeared after their shows though, no chance to talk to them or chat them up.

Everything is cheap in Kgrad...beer 30-40 rubles for half a liter, vodka-O 45 rubles.

Curiously enough, I didn't "detect" any pros in Planeta. I spoke to at least 10 girls... all students. None of them even hinted at pro action.

On my first night I met a very cute red head named Anja with wild mane-like "big" hair and a hot bod... semi-see through white top barely concealing biggish tits and wearing tight jeans that accentuated her firm perky ass. I simply walked up to her and started chatting away in Russian before she switched to English, she had lived in New York for 4 months. Soon her girlfriends came over and everybody was excited and somewhat bewildered that I was American. Very rare in Kgrad. We got cozy on the couch and I started groping her a bit and as it got late I proposed we go back to my apartment... it was 4th and goal and I got stopped just short of the goal line... but she agreed to meet me the next day.

So Sunday I struck out... she left with her girlfriends and less than 45 seconds later I was chatting up the next dyev, a leggy 20-year old blonde with glasses named Dasha... student of course. It was 4am and she left soon thereafter with her girlfriend who seemed tired and bored and a bit angry... she had eyed me all night and now I was hitting on her friend... but the blonde came running back a minute later and stuffed her phone number and e-mail address into my pocket. Maybe I'll call her next time. At that point I left for the hotel, which was a ten minute walk. Desperately horny I started hitting on the young student hotel receptionist and told her to come to my room. I was really kind of out of control... she denied me as well citing that she would lose her job. She seemed even apologetic about it. It was very entertaining for me... :)

But I still hadn't gotten laid! :(

Monday I met Anja in the evening and we went to Zaria, a nice restaurant/bar. Within 5 minutes we were making out and about an hour later we went to my hotel, stopping at the restaurant bar for a drink... we then cruised by the hotel desk and went to my room and got down to business. Wasn't my best performance ever but I had a massive load built up and shot it down her throat

Notes:
Restaurants:
My recommendations for Kgrad include the restaurant "Zaria"... very nice and upscale. If you want to impress a date, take her there. It is located in a complex with a movie theatre. Address unknown, but taxis will know.

Taxis:
No gypsy (street) taxis in Kgrad BTW... only official ones. But all destinations seem to cost 50 rubles.

Internet:
Internet cafe... the only one I could find... is out of the way. Called Kyber Club (Cyber Club) and located on Komsomolskaya Ulitsa 91. No prob by taxi though.

Police (militsia):
No hassles whatsoever... not omnipresent like in Pitr or Moscow.

Pros:
I didn't meet any pros at Planeta..any info on pros in Kgrad greatly appreciated... help us out guys!

in regards to kgrad, planeta did work out just fine for me... the girl i screwed there then actually met me again in st.pete 2 days later as she was applying for a new visa to go to the us for 4 months... the us would be lucky to have her...

speaking to her, she also said that planeta and cafe zaria and a place called andrei (sp.?)are really about the best places in kgrad. i'm not a kgrad expert... i have only spent 4 nights there, but i find it strangely attractive in the sense that there aren't many places to go at night ... so the decision making process is easy... you always know where to go! and i went there on the two worst nights... sunday and monday and still had good fun and got laid. it isn't as easy to score on the first day as some suggest... does happen often, but still convincing a girl to go to bed with you after having just met in a bar 3 hours ago sounds easy in theory, but when you are on the front and making your move, a lot of variables have to be taken into account. a serious deterrent seems to be peer pressure. when meeting a group of girls and concetrating on one, she often won't go home with you on the first night when her friends are there, but she definitely will on the next day when her friends aren't around. i don't know how many times i've not scored on a particular night and only got a kiss or two, but as soon as we were alone the next day we were fucking within 15 minutes. rogermellie can attest to this as well, he has had similar experiences i know.

what i didn't find in kgrad was a pro scene... it must exist, but i didn't look too hard. there were no pros that i could detect at planeta... maybe it was an off night. it was however the place in which i found my american passport to be the most interesting for them... not for marriage or anything, but for the fact that americans are an absolute rarity there.

those who do visit will surely have a good time, my statement that it isn't a legit mongering destination is based on my opinion that other russian cities with equal opportunities are more interesting culturally etc.

what i would appreciate from anyone is more detailed info on pros in kgrad as well as info on the baltic sea beaches there... now that could be very nice. russian girl + beach = sex

I am Asian and have several Russian friends (though I am never been to russia myself yet). They are perfectly comfortable with having Asian friends, though most of them are Russian-bred Asians. From what they have told me, there is generally no clear racisim towards Asians but often there may be inherent racism simply because they are not as accustomed to Asian people as to their own. And I have been told that if I do go to Russia, I would stand out as a tourist and be somewhat susceptible to racism.

I believe these comments apply more to St Petersburg and Moscow, rather than in eastern Russia, where Asian people are far more common.

Petropavlosk, Kattata, Russia, this is in the NE part of Russia maybe a special section should be setup, I will comment after my trip there in June, might not be til Aug when I get back.

I know there are Russian nuke sub base near, volcanoes, but what about the women situation, biggest nearby Russian city, I think is Vladavostk which I could be wrong, but miles from Moscow.

I visited US Dept of State site and they do have a little detail in this area on Fiancee Visas, marriage , they say average high temperature in June is like 68 degrees and nights 45 so being in Central FL as I type this , know whether will be nicer for me than in C. FL.

There is racism in Russia like there is racism everywhere. Xenophobia. Russian racism is often actually nationalism and is most prominent among the poor and in the country.

I assume your question is divided between two issues:

1) will you score with Russian women

Pros will sometimes reject Asians... but rarely. Pick another. At NF they won't reject you...since you'll be paying $250+. At CF they also will likely not reject you. Tochka girls can reject a customer, but it is rare. Particularly tochka pros are very simple girls, often from the country. They are xenophobic. NF and CF girls are more worldy and have fucked dozens of guys if not hundreds. So you likely won't be their first Asian. Other WSG members from Asia have done well for themselves there.

Scoring with amateur Russian women: Generally speaking one will encounter little blatant racism in central Moscow or St.Pete... if the girl is simply not interested in Asian guys she will let you know in the ways girls let a guy... any guy... know that she isn't interested. So move on, find another. The supply is endless... at least until 4am in the club when the corwds start thinning and the sharks move in for the kill of whatever females are left....

In Moscow in particular there are lots of Asians... especially Indians, Turks and Chinese, not to mention the Asian-Russians.

In several clubs I've been to, for example Voodoo Lounge, Karma Bar, Chesterfield's (Doug and Marty's Boarhouse), Rock Vegas etc. there have been many Indians and Turkish. They weren't doing bad for themselves, especially the good-looking ones. Good-looking guys are in demand everywhere no matter what their color. Average looking guys will not have it that easy, but that is the same everywhere.

2) security issues

There are skinheads in Russia and lots of them. You can avoid them fairly easily though. Stay out of the suburbs, don't walk around late at night (like after the metro closes at 1am)... especially not alone. Use street smarts and avoid situations you would avoid in any major city. IF you see a crowd of skinhead youth hanging out drinking beer and vodka, just walk another way and avoid them. And at night use taxis.

Russians of Asian appearance from the eastern provinces are fully integrated into Russian society and have no significant problems, except perhaps Muslim Russians from Central Asia who have dark skin.

Central Asians of darker-skinned appearance, like Pakistanis, some Indians and Arabs could experience more blatant racism... particularly if mistaken for people from the Caucasus, who are loathed by many in Russia due to the terrorist bombings of the last few years in association with the Chechen war.

So...

There are plenty of places Asians can go without trouble, especially if you go to places that expats frequent, businessmen frequent or to student places. There are lots of Asian students in Moscow.

In other locations or in the suburbs, caution is advised. You probably don't want to be there anyway, especially at night. Especially for newbies, stick to the city center. You could spend years in Moscow's center and not see every club, pub or cafe.

Mongering places like CF and NF have no prejudice...except against the very drunk and the poor.

Be sure to have your documents in order, otherwise the cops will give you a hard time. Especially for those in apartments, get your registration cleared up right away. Newbies might want to stay in a hotel but please dont even consider places like Rossia or Ukraine. Staying in a Russian hotel will limit your mongering fun to their stock of aged overpriced pros.

NF is Night Flight... one of two top class hooker bars in Moscow. Prices here are usually a minimum of $200 even though they will ask for much more.

I am Australian and can get to Beijing free of charge by cashing in Frequent Flyer miles.

If you have the time you may wish to check out the prices of train tickets. When last I looked you could get a good deal. The trip from Beijing to Irkutsk can give you a stop over in Ulan Bator. You should check the reports from there on this board.

I have had people tell me that prices in Vlad are the highest east of the Urals. YMMV as reports on this board do not fully support this.

I have actually booked a 4 day visit to Ulan Bator on August, free flight from Australia to Beijing and return so I am only up for the flight to Ulan Bator to devour some of those gorgeous creatures there. Return flight Geijing / Ulan Bator is US450.

I visited there last year for a few days and the place was Beautiful, the woman exceptional but the action NADA. I was tied up most of the time on business, and my hosts were familiar with the operators of the hotel and I was treated as a VIP so couldn't even ask for information from the bellhops and my time for mongering was almost none.

This time I'll be staying for a longer period, but almost everyone that I observed spoke little or no English nor was I able to find any information that I could understand from the newspapers.

Actually, "u tebya yest padruga" is correct because 'padruga' is not the direct object of the sentence and therefore shouldn't be in the accusative.

Also, the answer would be simply "yest" because the subject is actually "padruga", i.e. "padruga yest".

unusual punting experience in the altai mountains south of novosibirsk towards the chinese border. once more i was astonished at the variety of adventures and the endless availability of gorgeous women to be found in russia, if you only go looking for them and actively seek them out. since it is unlikely that many will find their way out to this place in the altai, detailed hobbying information is relatively meaningless, but i hope this report can give a flavour of the delights and frustrations of traveling in a huge country as well as an account of some of the action. if you just want the action, accept an apology and scroll down to below the asterisks.

by way of background i always prepare my annual adventure in russia well in advance, and it is not intended solely as an erotic trip, but as a mixture of tourism, adventure and these fantastic russian women. in russia i find my own and until this year have not paid. the most fruitful path is a cluster bomb technique: contact a good 15-20 women all from a particular area (this year, as in the past two years in fact, around novosibirsk in central siberia) from one of the many internet friendship sites, and spend much of the year emailing and flirting them into submission. the three or four you really like you can then meet when out there. by the time you see them for real, you feel you already know them, you know they are hot, and you know they really want to meet you. the great thing is you can choose from the thousands available really beautiful ones exactly to your taste. they are often even more stunning in the flesh. and although i made an exception this year (irresistible opportunity sidetracked me for two days in st. pete), i generally avoid the cosmopolitan girls from moscow or st. pete. i find them – even before i have met them - more wised-up, demanding and generally harder to please. the provincials are all well-educated charm, femininity, smiles and fun, with few material expectations. and a guaranteed fuck.

one of the chosen few this year i persuaded to take me out into the mountains for a few days. irina organized a package from novosibirsk and all went very well. distances are huge and this meant an overnight bus trip out. on the map the road is shown as eventually leading to ulan bator, but this is no doubt only possible with a four-wheel drive. we went as far as bus transport can take you, about 600 kms south-east via barnaul and bisk to where the tarred road gave up. indeed, the last kilometer we had to walk.

unfortunately the coach model i had been expecting, air-conditioned, smoothly shock-absorbed, with stretch-out beds, on-board hostesses, caviar and champagne bar and luxury toilet, was unavailable that evening, so we had to make do with a poorly sprung boneshaker with unreclining seats and non-functional toilet, imported in used condition from finland at least twenty years ago and hammered into the ground ever since. the sort where the floor threatens to arrive before the rest of the bus. there was a tv, but i’ll be buggered if they could get it to show portugal – england.

our hostess was a fat young charmer called svetlana in a tight sweaty t-shirt and badly dyed red hair, who took a quick roll-call, bawled the rules to the guests (no smoking, no alcohol, no sex, so far as i could gather) and then promptly fell asleep noisily in the seat in front of me for the duration. the driver was a “russian male” type, playing the contemptuous professional, unsmiling, imperturbably cool, chain-smoking, and a hell-raising danger to all other road users. “road”? no, you don’t want me to describe the road, save one spectacular incident on the way back, when a motorbike hit an enormous pothole at full speed on a bend on the outskirts of novosibirsk. all might have been ok, if it had not had a side-car and they had wedged babushka into it satisfactorily. it had; and they hadn’t. fortunately, on the way out to the altai it was night and i was mostly unaware of how close to death i was.

the other travelers intrigued me: mostly surprisingly young, despite the high bus price, long-haired youths with shirts shouting ronaldinho or gucci or holland (pronounced in russian of course as golland, as in gamburg, gannover, gollywood, or my favourite, adolf gitler), and their gorgeous slim girlfriends in designer jeans and miniscule tops. in short, a busload of good humour made its way happily out into the mountains, if without much sleep. of course i devoted a lot of my time to irina under her blanket.

the place we were staying at, a village called ored, and the hotel complex a drearily named ored1 (pronounced ariyed-adin) is a newly built attempt at a tourist trap. that is, they have the western tourist prices, but have somehow not quite matched up yet on the services front. oh, who cares? imagine an atmospheric, wooden, alpine-style hotel in a long, steep and forested river valley, with lawns leading to a rushing, crashing boulder-strewn mountain river called kuba. very beautiful, especially when the sun shone, and you can go for great walks along this and other rivers and streams.

ok, sorry. i am getting there, i promise. but now you have the setting. rooms ok, restaurant a disaster, but two superb examples of siberian woman were working there. one, the tall, long-legged receptionist, grey blonde and warm-hearted. yes, i finally found one, a smiling, helpful russian receptionist. almost certainly unavailable. but the second, about 19 i guess, a brunette with straight shoulder-length hair called olya, smooth slav cheekbones, another wide smile and fine arse, who worked in the bar and was to turn into the unexpected heroine of this story.

i knew the tiny chapel, it was two minutes walk among trees along the river, but up on a small promontory overlooking the river from quite a height. the first key opens the chapel gate, and the second the chapel itself. i wandered up there, heart thumping, and waited beside the chapel door. surely not inside! it was pitch black. suddenly she was beside me. i hadn’t heard her coming. she took the keys, went back and locked the gate. she’d obviously done this before, because it was not going to be in the chapel, but beside it on a small terrace, and she rustled a condom by my ear. giggle. again, “be quiet”. there was a small wall round the terrace about half a metre high, and this was going to save us both from death. i could see the headlines: “bar waitress falls well fucked into river”.

Here is what I've been able to find about the city on Volga...

If you are staying in "Volgograd" hotel, apparently the person to see is the security. Let them know you want a "devochka", you'll have several girls (probably several, might be one) delivered to your suite. You then choose the one you like, or perhaps take a pass if the choices are not palatable. The prices are about 800 rubles per hour. In the past you might've gotten calls from agencies directly to your suite, but people who were there recently report that this has now stopped. Other hotels are similar.

I have attempted posting on this board several times about a place that it seems to have no apparent activity.

It's the city of, "Vladikavkaz", located in the Caucasus Mountain area of North Ossetia-Alania. Very beautiful place, the scenery is very special.

I've visited most of Russia, as well as the Balkan Countries and have the opinion that some of the most beautiful woman I've ever seen are living in this city.

I was able to get together with several woman who were employed at shops and factories who were strictly amateurs who had been introduced to several friends who visit regularly, generally with their wifes who must be very discreet, and speak Russian.

I'm sure that there must be some activity, but it's not apparent, nothing in the newspapers. I am expected to be circumspect at the hotel, as my accommodations are provided by the hotels owners, so even that's off limits.

In Vladikavkaz, the main thing to see is the old mosque built in 1906 by a Baku
oil baron with an Ossetian wife. You are required to enter with your right foot and exit with your left foot, some kind of fucked-up Muslim version of the hokey-pokey!

Imperial Hotel, and Hotel Vladikavkaz are the 2 main places to stay, where you'll look out to see the Terek river on one side and mountains on the other.

Cafe 2 by 2, and Bistro are reccommended places to eat famous Ossetian pirogy, or Ossetian pie, the tasty local pastry filled with spinach, meat, cheese, or ram's testicles.

What you really want to find is Ossetian hair pie, with rim cheese. Being only a few kilometers from Grozny and their weekly fireworks festivals of human
sacrifice, one would think that in such a world of desperation and life/death
moments, your bellboy and helpful hotel security would happily summon upon request for you the hair pie of your choice, probably his sister, mother, cousin, or fuck buddy from down the block.

It is certainly more difficult to find people speaking english in Siberia, but from my experience, as a foreigner, there is always a local willing to help you in that matter. If you have a vehicule, stop in a cafe and order something. If you watch the waitresses with insistance, they will certainly try to arrange something. Some cafes even have saunas. If you stop in a motel, especially those for truckers, you can be sure the room service will be organised there.

If you dont have a vehicule, go to a beach and try to make friends with locals. After sharing a few vodkas, they will certainly offer you to phone a few girls they know. Go and sit at a cafe near a flea market on week ends. If you look foreigner, girls will make eye contacts, making clear they are interested in you...and your buying power.

FYI, there is a naturist beach near Novosibirsk. We stayed at the Koloc (colosse) holidays "resort" there, giving right on the beach, with tennis, sauna and bar. Might be a nice place to start socialising...

Novosibirsk is known as the Pataya of Russia. Prostitution is officially illegal tho, so the scene is not as obvious as in Thailand. If you dont trust your international communication skills, the safest bet is to go to a sauna and ask for 'dievushka' (girl) and skolka 'how much' Those two words combined are explicit enough to get you what you are looking for.

Ok I just got back from Russia. I went to Chita and Irkutsk in Siberia and Zabaekal regions. So far I have not found any luck in Irkutsk but then again I didn't really look for it on this trip. Novorossiysk.
Arriving Krasnodar from St. Petersburg. About 2hours 15 minutes drive to Novorossiysk. The city is located in the north-eastern part of the Black Sea. There is an airport closer to the city, called Anadar.

Stayed 3 nights in Hotel Novorossiysk, at about USD.50 a night. Hotel recently bought by a guy from Moscow who will upgrade the hotel, which is necessary.

First night we spoke with the security-guy in the hotel, and he advised that the girls sitting in the casino were WG’s. THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO VISIT THE ROOMS. Luckily for me I had a Russian-speaking friend with me, and he translated. Most people speak very limited English. Reason for not allowing the girls “upstairs” was because the pimp had not made an agreement with the new owner of the hotel. You could however bring in girls from outside, but they had to register after 2300 hours.

We went out hunting about midnight, and first to a place called MAXIMUS, recommended by the security-guy. This was a medium size disco with about 50 people dancing. A lot of beautiful ladies, mainly students in the age range of 18-24. But to noisy to talk to anyone so we left after a beer. The taxidriver that took us to Maximus recommended a strip-club called PAUK (English: Spider). Leaving the disco, we met two girls on their way in, and my friend asked them about good places to go. They could not recommend anything, so he asked if Pauk was OK, and if they wanted to join us. They laughed and said no :) . Me and my friend went there, and after a while the two girls joined us (BTW; free entrance at about 0100 hours). We invited them to sit with us, and we had a good time. I am sure that we can hit the sack with those two dames, but it may take a while. Why, since they asked if we will visit regularly, or just tourists. The WG’s we saw in the casino of our hotel was not good looking, and regretfully our time was limited due to business.

Some nice restaurants in the city, service good, and food not to bad, but I will stop ordering Bloody Mary’s as they all think that the Tabasco is a huge part of the recipe.

A lot of construction going on, so obviously money is coming in to the city, building both tall blocks for apartments and offices and private houses.

It is the new HQ of the russian navy ( Black Sea Fleet ), and the russian gate for the exportation of oil from the Caspian Sea. This explains the new investments in the infrastructure of the city. Good news : hotels and night life can improve in the future. Bad news prices can go upwards !

Stayed 2 days in Krasnodar, nice town.

There is one Totschka, but a little bit different than in moscow.
Its on a road-circle on a bus-station, there was 15 girls from 18-24,

some time ago in this winter, i had a trip to tatarstan, not kazan, but i would like not to tell the city, so few foregniers… (see the pictures section of a real tatar girl).

You just call there and tell what you need, than you say your adress and they are 30mins later there, a car with 5 girls you can choose from.

Mostly they charge 500Roubles/Girl/Hour. the better one is 800/hour.

Hello All:

I went to Norvogard (the Great) in early January 2005 for four days on business. This city has the original Kremlin of Peter the Great and is one of the older cities of Russia. They give tours through the Kremlin and you can visit the Cathedral of Saint Sofia. One unique thing about the Cathedral is the guy that "plays" the bells, he or they are quite good and they even have a tape for sell in the gift shop.

We stayed in a rather expensive hotel about three blocks in front of the Kremlin that was okay but not for the price. They did have girls working the bar in the hotel but they were on the expensive side also, BUT they had no problem with security either. One really great looking blond with a great figure quoted me a price of $250.00 (before negoiation). I thought this was too high so passed on the first night we were there. I then proceeded to the bar in the Kremlin. It has a good cafe upstairs and a bar and smaller cafe in the cellar. They even had a in door swimning pool and sauna. It was also cheaper than our hotel. They also said it was girl friendly. The food wasn't the greatest there but the bar and disco were packed with women after about 9pm. Mostly non-pros but I saw several that were probably working girls.

In my opinion Lonely Planet does very good source of info, most of time very useful also for us mongers.

With a friend we were there again and around midnight, after a beautiful dinner, we got one of the taxis in front a small western style hotel where we usually stay.

I was recently in Vladikawkas, probably noone ever will go there, I at least hope so, but if you have to go there, you will stay in the Hotel which is made for the rich. Haha, 50 years ago, I don't remember the name, but it is the only hotel with "western" standard. Just ask the lady or the man at the reception for the sauna and they will offer you their cousin or brother or whatever. So for reasons I shall not go into I had to take a detour to Vladivostok. Now some people say this is the SF of Russia, I thought it looked more like a HK of Russia. I paid 250 for my first cab ride when I got off the train. Heed my advice and dont end up joining the sucker club in Vladivostok, current member 1. Also in Vladivostok you can just hail cars on the side of the street, usually the folks who have free time and want to make an extra buck. Their prices are not necessary cheaper.

I am going to Vladivostok next week again. Actually difficult to find pros (I did not come across strip nigth clubs on my 2 previous visits there), but many girls in the bars (non-pros), and possible to get a date, but one to work a little bit for it.

Unless you speak Russia, it's almost impossible to get laid in Siberia. based on my exprience. In addition, the hotel securiy usually doesn't allow girl to stay.

It is indeed tough to get girls into your hotel room, but most Russian cities have extensive apartment style brothels, at a reasonable cost. Novosibirsk is no exception.

There are, in fact, girls in the hotel bar at Hotel Sibir. The quoted cost is $150 but I got it down to $100. That's probably too expensive for Siberia, but my Russian is not that great and these girls are as good as I've seen in Kyiv or Moskva. Had a romp with a red-headed big-breasted stunner that I'll likely never forget. Got her number and did it again off hours at a neutral place the next day, no charge. As previously reported, there aren't many girls -- I think I saw a maximum of five one night, none on Sunday or Monday -- but all are sweet and 9-10. I have been stunned at there good service and cheap airfares.

They have recently won European Travel Awards.

They offer 2 types of airfares. One is normal and the other is fixed and much cheaper and must be booked ahead. So if you know your dates of travel and are going to stick to them, then that is the fare for you. There website allows you to choose which airfare and airline etc.

They also offer international airfares at lower than other countries.

They have an office in Moscow and you can also do the whole process online.

Just walking around I just didn't see that many quality dyevs, far below other parts of Russia. In fact it was probably the worst city -- in terms of girls -- I've experienced in the CIS. And the city is way more expensive than you would expect.

On the other hand, I have stayed at both the Hotel Novosibirsk and the Hotel Sibir and there is really no comparison. The former is, at best, a 2-star hotel while the Sibir is roughly a 4-star. In my opinion, the hotel girls trended similarly.

On this level of P4P there is same pool of the girls working for and covered by same kinda people. If there's a need they just moving girls between apartments/spa, hotels and sometimes high quality saunas. Of course they have guards and transportation. DS I had this report on my information database. Moreover I saw less than 2 months ago a TV Broadcast on a businessman working in Russia from Moscow and visiting Irkutsk for finding new business opportunities.

According what he explained and what we saw. It seems that Irkutsk is not a very modern and renovated city ! But there are some more modern commercial centers downtown.

I am sure ithat with your knowlege of russian and russia t would be very easy to find some enthusiastic freebies. As for P4P it should be the usual hotels and sayne i banya !

It obviously depends on how much time you stay there. Anyway you should be a rarity there.

I was in Irkutsk in Siberia recently. I wandered the streets but saw no action. As it happened, my colleague and I were finishing a meeting in the Hotel Rus restaurant, when 2 very attractive girls came in and sat down. My worry is girl-friendly hotel or apartment... I am not interested in hotel in-house stock, that's like shooting fish in a barrel and against my sporting nature... I find however that the typical "pick-up bar" with pros does not really exist in most Russian cities, at least not on an interesting scale. So probably salons and saunas... plus chasing freebies in clubs... neither of which is a bad option...

My travel agent told me that Irkutsk is full of German tourists (retirees with tour groups, not sex tourists like us) in the summer because they want to see lake Baikal. However, Irkutsk is very very cold in the winter, probably not conducive for freebies because people won't be hanging outside.

While I don't have any immediate plans on going on the adventure, I'm interested if there is much action going on on the train. Very little if anything like that is mentioned in the travel guides. It would be nice to have warm body or two lying next to me. Any of your detailed exploits would be appreciated.

I did the trip back in 2002, from Moscow to Vladivostok, there is no action what so ever on the train, but a bunch of happy friendly people and great fun. If you can work out a visa that let you stay on some of the mid-sized cities along the road that might be another ballgame, but as mentioned, no pros on the train

I will be back in Irkutsk again in approximately 2 weeks. I have travelled through there quite a few times. Like many people said, the city is quite backwards, but the prices are often rediculous in terms of lodging and food. In the city center is hotel Angara, that is their largest hotel right around the government area. Late night phone calls are guaranteed. Asking rate is 1000 rubles for 1 hour of fun. As to wandering the streets for action, havent really had much opportunity to do so. Being young myself I usually wander into the universities and try to make friends there. Conveniently, if you stay at hotel Angara, you will notice alot of very young beautiful nuble Siberian girls wandering the streets catching the bus. That is because across the very large traffic circle with the park in the middle is the local language university. I really prefer having a bunch of buddies with me as we pick up on local girls. So far only been out there all alone.... but of course none of you guys usually come out to Siberia. Tsk tsk. Hotel action is guaranteed. Alot of the cabbies parked outside will know a thing or two about djievs if you ask them. Tip them 100 rubles should be sufficient.

The promenade area has quite a few clubs, Stratosphere, Megapolis. Going dancing there is always a better way to meet girls, but usually girls go there in groups, with guys. So again being on my own out there most of the time isnt that much fun picking up on girls. I do have some friends out there, a couple of girls I know who just graduated from university and now work. But usually hanging out with them makes it unfeasable to hunt elsewhere.

You mention Hotel Angara, do you have other experiences with hotels there, such as Best Eastern Sun Hotel or Baikal Business Centre?? Any chance to bring normal girls back from discos to the hotel? Or do you have to bribe the doorman/security or pay for an extra occupant?

Sun Hotel and Baikal Business Centre seem to be the nicest in town, but are actually located outside of town.... impractical for disco trawling.

There are a couple of bed and breakfasts, any word on these as a girl-friendly option?

waster99... I'd like to clarify your comment about the tsr... You said if you could work out a visa that would allow you to stop and visit cities along the way.

As I understand it, any tourist or business visa, will allow you to go almost anyplace in Russia. Of course, some places may be restricted just like in the USA, i.e. military bases, etc. That said, you may still need a double entry visa if you plan to wind up in Mongolia or China and then return to Russia.

The biggest problem that I would see would be to get your tickets arranged so you can stop since the tsr does not allow off and on priviledges. So, you would have to plan for all of your stop overs in advance to ensure that you have a confirmed reservation all the way. Otherwise you could be stuck in some forgotten hell hole of a town in the middle of nowhere waiting for a seat to open up.

My experience is that there are more or less always seats on the TSR, maybe July and August are to be avoid, but otherwise you should be able to jump on and off, I am not aware of how the tickets works then. I asume you cold arrange it before hand in Moscow, but you'll need a very good translator and hours of negos. Buying ticket is not easy in the first place, and adding things like stop overs is maybe more or less impossible. I did the whole trip in ones, so I don't really know, but no pros at the train.

Ulyanovsk is a crappy town, full of rotting wooden buildings and people who still think Lenin was the best. But the *****s are cheap. Around 11 p.m. at the hotel Venets (all spellings appx. of course) the phones start ringing up and down the hallway. Starting price: 4000 rb all night. After haggling, my girl got 1000 rb for a very long night's work. The only hidden costs were 70 rb for a long taxi ride (don't you love the provinces?) and 140 rb for a bottle of foul wine which was so awful that I didn't take more than a sip -- she pound back the whole thing herself. She was an unemployed midwife, 26 years old, living in your typically hellish apartment in the suburbs. We went to her place because the hotel has recently started cracking down on the flesh trade, installing security cameras to make sure all comings and goings are noted, and thus requiring more expensive bribes.

The girl herself wasn't anything special. She was probably lying about her age, and years of this work combined with an abortion meant she was pretty loose. But she had real appeal as a classic *****, with a giant black wig covering her straggly shoulder-length hair, too much red on her Angelina Jolie lips, way too much eyeshadow. Perky, ample breasts were the redeeming feature, along with her enthusiasm and endurance. She showed me a picture of her (much hotter) blonde friend and said they sometimes work as a tandem. I never found time to take her up on the offer, but I've still got her mobile number if you're interested.

You can spend 13 hours on a stinking train, or fly an hour and a half from my favourite Russian airport, Domodedovo. I'd fly.

Hotel Venets is located on Ul. Sovetskaya, 19/9. The freshly renovated rooms (ask for them) offer your standard Western comforts, and there's a decent cafe, but the hotel staff suffer from a delusion that they're working at a high-class joint. Other logistics are identical to Moscow, except vastly cheaper. Don't pay any cab driver more than 100 roubles.

And sorry Bez, but I'm bez explanation for my presence in Ulyanovsk. What can I tell you? I'm new to this game.

For something more tawdry, I searched the sextalk.ru archive to get a ballpark idea of Ufa's prices. Then I call a number from an advertisement in the back pages of "Ekstra," a free newspaper. Plenty of numbers there, but only one establishment prosperous enough to break out of the classifieds text and buy a proper ad. Calls itself "VIP-CLUB Iskusheniye," with phone numbers but no address. A polite girl on the phone gives the address (Mendeleeva 171/1) and the taxi across town costs 100 rb. The taxi driver doesn't ask for more, even though his hunt for the address takes him through an endless maze of crappy apartment blocks and rutted lanes. The place is near the end of a laneway running alongside a shantytown market, inside one of those video lottery casinos. The green neon sign doesn't give any hint that you will find anything except slot machines inside.

A door on the left side of the building's front leads you to a small lobby, where a heavyset guy in a pinstripe suit with dandruff on his collar grins and invites you to play the gambling machines through a doorway on your right. But he smiles broadly when you tell him "nyet, mozhna club" and shows you a small list of club rules. Don't bother reading the rules because they're happily ignored. Pinstripe takes your jacket, ushers you through curtains, up two flights of stairs, and towards the sound of dance music. It's probably the ugliest club in the city -- painted dark, with ultraviolet light and glowing cartoons of naked women on the walls. At midnight during my visit last month, it was entirely empty except for a bunch of working girls. A cute hostess demands an entrance fee of 3000 rb. You sit in one of the big vinyl booths facing a stage with two poles, and the girls start their show. First they dance together, then show off their moves one by one. Those who aren't on stage are crowding into your booth and asking for drinks, but they're pretty restrained about extorting booze, ringing up a bill of maybe 200 rb. Wouldn't recommend the food items on the menu, and can't review the crazy menu because I didn't bother with it. When pressed, the girls admit that the crazy menu is mostly a joke, from the 200 rb. fee for dancing with a girl, to the rediculous 10,000 rb fee for taking a girl home, to the millions required to "buy the club." Your 3,000 entrance fee already includes a "one hour massage," and maybe the girls use this euphemism to reject ugly drunkards. But for everybody else, what's really happening here is a straightforward brothel business. The dances are auditions, as the girls blow kisses, simulate sex onstage, and otherwise try to persuade you to pick them. You get asked whether you require tolka adna deyevushka or a more expensive team effort. The eight girls ranged from hot-slutty-snaggletooth to smokin-classic-hot.

I chose the hottest, a skinny blonde with an ass that could bring a man to tears. (She claimed, credibly, to be 21 years old.) Took me to a private room with a comfortable double bed and modern shower stall, and she signalled this wasn't a massage parlour by putting a few condoms on the bedside table. A sensual scrub in the shower, short HJ with soap, then an amateurish massage. Flipped me over, CBJ, DATY, and straight sex in various positions for almost two hours. No anal, but didn't ask. Fate has put me in Hotel Novosibirsk in February. Hotel Sibir, supposedly the top hotel in the city, was completely booked out. So far no luck on apartments either, although I'll try to switch to an apartment during my stay.

Havent been on this wire for some time I decided to make a post in the Chinese side. I havent been into Russia for awhile now so considering how often their politics change, who knows about djievs? The Sun Hotel is very far on the outskirts of town, I havent stayed there. I have only stayed in the Angara and I tried a girl once, but I wouldnt accept one via phone call uh-uh tsk-tsk! Go hang out on the stairs while having a cigarette, the girls always go out there to have a smoke. Regarding the clubs, havent really tried it there as I said I have always been with female friends while at the clubs. Seems more probable if I was with one of you guys.
