I posted my report of Kosice in the (Other area) of the Slovakia reports,

It was very cold here around the 30's with snowpacked ice on the ground and sometimes snow falling during the day and night.

Summer would be a much better time to come here.I came hear during March because I got a low price to SFo to Frankfurt of $ 375 then another $ 375 from Frankfurt to Kosice.Roundtrip.

I would agree with Otto that the overall population of the Slovakian woman are good looking , Pretty face, nice body, light skin tone, there born that way, it is in there Genes.

I did enjoy the Food very tasty , they have many places to eat near the Hotel Slovan, a shopping mall across the street and many places to shop and eat and drink, book stores, internet cafes, money exchange banks, gift shops.

I took a side trip to the Spis Castle-I took a bus at the main train station paid 90sk=$3 took 1hours 15 min each way then hike around 15 mins to castle area.

Summer time would be a better time to visit Slovakia.

I only spent a couple of days in Kosice as a side trip from Frankfurt,Germany. Yeah, I can only support that. Years ago it was Alladin's cave. Now I shake my head in wonder. The girls have been over pampered to an extent by the wrong people - one of the downsides of low-cost airlines.

The pro scene has had it's ups and downs over the years - can't say it's really worse, it depends what girls you are in touch with at any one time and what you like. In Kosice at the moment there are a lot of average-looking 18 year-olds who are maybe not as enthusiastic as they could be but do CIM and swallow. Whether that's good or bad depends what you like.

If you can prove to them that you are serious about staying in Slovakia long term (for example by having some job here, making visible progress in speaking Slovak and actually directly saying that you would one day like to get married and settle down) then you can get one and you will be in the happy situation that you both consider yourselves to have got a good catch (because the girls do still have a fetish for westerners even if it doesn't override everyhting else). There is a lot more competition from responsible, working, local men than there used to be (compare my comments from a few years back on in the other areas thread about alcoholics living with their mothers) but you can still beat it if you are the kind of man who does ok with women generally.

If the deal you are offering is to date them then take them back to your home country then sorry, but all the Slovaks who don't believe they can have a good life in Slovakia are already in London and other European cities.

There are some adverts online for unbelieveable girls at unbelievable prices, with phone numbers starting with 0900. These are unfortuantely too good to be true, and 0900 is the prefix for a premium rate line.

Standard Slovak numbers start 0902, 0903, 0904 .. up to about 092x. The new mobile company O2 has been given a number range around 094x so these are legitimate too.

I would say so, in the major cities of Europe there will be Slovak or Czech/Slovak bars where you could meet girls who are trying to get started in your country.

The best (or most complete) classifieds websites seem to vary over time. Perhaps when one becomes the market leader they put the prices up and scare advertisers away, with customers following. Also some seem to have very little outside Bratislava (perhasp they have flat pricing) and some seem to have a lot more.

At the moment www.zafo.sk (za FO = for financial reward) looks to have the most in Bratislava, whereas www.amaterky.sk (amaterky = female amateurs, though they are not) seems to be the leader outside Bratislava. Another one which seems to be in decline now but has never been mentioned here before is www.sekretarky.sk (sekretarky = secretaries although again they are working girls).
