Today was a long day. If you're cheap like me you won't take a taxi to these places and instead you'll try to find it all on your own. Apricots has 2 locations; Arizala 74 and Corsega 252 (these are addresses BTW). I visited Apricots Corsega 252 today and had a great time. Well I did my best. Pasatge de. Is about 5 cross streets off Mallorca. It's really not much. I spent a lot of time looking and circling the blocks. All the cross streets were not possible to fit a car in. If someone else wants to look then I'm completely up for it. I have about 4 days left out here and would love to visit it.

In general, all hotels in Barcelona are girl friendly. Spain is not South America or Northern Africa. If you are at a nice hotel and the girl is well dressed, she can come right up to the room without any concern of being stopped. If she is a drunken Nigerian street walker coming in off of Ramblas and aimlessly wondering around the hotel, they might boot her out before she gets to your room. I would probably skip the car when travelling in downtown only (finding parking spot can be a hassle, is fairly expensive and need some planning). I suggest the Metro (or a taxi at night). Walking is safe most places even at night. A car is only a must if you decide to make the road trip to the Gerona and Tarragona clubs.

OK, so I had taken on board the warning from Toxteth about this club but while driving around locating the brothels Viladomat 208 was relatively close by so couldn't hurt just taking a look. Muntanar is a safe place and I have been there many times. The biggest club in BCN at the moment?! Visited three times this week I must say they have a good lineup at the moment about 50 girls 10-15 of the girls rated 7-9 they are expensive 150 half hour. Thanks again.I literally have walked the city day and night a number of times, spent a lot of time with the locals in areas not usually visited by tourists and the only "sketchy" place where I felt unsafe was on some of the smaller side streets near southern end of Las Ramblas (Rambla de Santa Mònica) where the street walkers hang out. I have been to a lot of after hours parties with the locals and never had a problem walking the streets at 12-6 in the morning.

Thanks again.First of all, you are overanalyzing. Barcelona's crime reputation in the media is not really accurate. There is a lot of pick pocketing, bag snatching, and the occasional break-in of an unoccupied vehicle with bags in the back seat. No muggings other than of drunks on Ramblas, and no kidnappings like in Mexico or South America. Put your wallet in your front pocket and keep your bags in between your feet on the Metro and you will encounter no crime.

I know personally that Felinas and Top Damas are in very good neighborhoods. KyleThompson and others who are more familiar with the big-name brothels can vouch for the others you mention. I would guess they are in very safe neighborhoods since they cater to tourists.

Personally, I have had good experiences at Felinas (I have been in the Top Damas neighborhood but the brothel was closed on Sunday), but I have simply had better experiences with independents and at the no-name brothel that is initially reviewed by Smuler. The big-name brothels are a little more expensive and have significant upsells for many things like anal and CIM, and small upsells for things like the second cum that should be free if done in the purchased time frame. However, they are very tourist friendly and easy to find.

While I've been here, I've felt very safe. I can easily certainly see myself get pick pocketed at La Rambla or the Metro if I'm careless, and scammed by all sorts of scams if I'm not attentive. But even that seems to be not as big of an issue comparing that what has been reported. For example, at La Ramblas there seemed to be police on every block with very visible presence. Maybe they are attempting to solve the issues?

But, to my actual question. I've tried scouring a bit of information from many sources, but for me the best resource seems to be sexomercadobcn, and especially the map in there. You can just ring the doorbell and they will buzz you in. No advance appointment is necessary.

The madams, or someone there, will speak enough English to understand you. Keep in mind that the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada are three very wealthy countries and the big-name brothels cater heavily to tourists. They speak English because it is very much in their best interests to do so.

There are not really that many muggings in Barcelona. You walk down some stairs on the outside of the building and ring the buzzer. No one knows as you are walking down the street near any of the brothels that you are a customer with cash in his pocket. You look just like any resident or tourist walking down the street, all of which have a lot of pedestrian traffic.

Farrel is a little street just off of Gran Via, which is one of the biggest streets (roundabouts and everything) in the city. If you scroll up the page in the following link, you will find a map. The neighborhood is very safe. I ate at a nearby restaurant, sat outside and read a book while waiting, and did some shopping.

The easiest way to get there is to take the metro to the Plaza Espanya station (or Rocafort which is just a little bit further) and take a cab for less than 5 euros the rest of the way. The cabs know where Farell Street is, and it is a very short street. Because Gran Via is such a big street with one ways and roundabouts, it is not easy to find the intersection of Gran Via and Farrel by foot.

We are probably not doing the right thing by calling this a brothel. It is really a big apartment with many rooms shared by a consortium of independents. Here are instructions on finding this place, about a block north of Gran Via.
They give you an address for this place on Farell street, which is just off of Gran Via street and near the Plaza Espanya metro station. But the address is an apartment complex just next door (literally two feet) from the door that allows you to enter the brothel. The key is to do some advance planning. Although a lot of providers speak and write some English, and use Google translate themselves, it is very easy to use google translate to compose a message, translate it into Spanish, and copy / paste the message into email or whatsapp. And of course the reviews in this forum are very useful.
