Serenda: The club is under the same named Serenda Hotel, 3 stars. In the club you can find 30-50 girls per night from Russia, Romania and Moldovia who are dancing on the dance floor. Suprisingly girls from Romania in Serenda are looking better than the Russians, they are also younger. Most of the Russians are above 30. I think it is a good place for boys who are interested in young chicks. However you shall consider the bad reputation of the Romaians.

Prices are; you have to give 35 Lira (40 weekends) in order to enter the bar which includes a drink and some fruits. If you want to drink more, a beer is 7-9 Lira, tequila 12-15 Lira and a whiskey 10-15 Lira depending their brands.

The girls charge appx. 150 Lira for one pop, and the hotel room costs 80 Lira (suits 110). You need also give the waiters, vestiary and bell boy some tips which are totally not more than 15 lira. In this bar you need to go to the dance floor to talk to the girls. You cannot invite them to your table. You may also dance with the girls which I find very weird

Positive thing about the club is; nobody is harassing you, you just sit, drink and watch the girls dancing. Waiters and the other employees are fine. It is a clear place and from my point of view the bar has the best DJ among the clubs in Aksaray.

Bacardi: The most famous place of Aksaray. I have been there for 5-6 times, however I do not like the place too much. The differences between Serenda and Bacardi are;

- Bacardi is a private club, is not located under a hotel, so you need to take the girl from the bar and go to the agreed hotels. I do not find this issue comfortable. But the positive thing here is, that you can take the girl to your home or to your hotel room if the girl trusts you.

- Bacardi do not charge any entrance fee. However the drinks are much expensive compared to Serenda. I did not have any problem by the bill, because the waiters know me and my friends, but I cannot hide that I have heard some negative things about their high bill charge. E. G. When you drink 2 beers and 1 whiskey you want pay less than 70 Lira, trust me.

- Bacardi's girls are beautiful, better than Serenda, most of them from Russia and Ukrania, some from Middle Asia with Turkish origin. I have been with 3 girls from Bacardi, all from Russia and 2 of them were really good experiences. Name of the girls are Julia and Nelly (stage name, I can't remember the real name).

- In Bacardi, you invite the girls to your table, to negotiate and order a drink to her which is 3-4 times expensive than the real price. Girls in Bacardi are more professional and want at least 200 Lira for one pop, but appreciate them they are better in bed.

- Waiters and all the employees are forcing you to give them tips and they are always asking you, which girl you will take.

As you see, the places are totally different and like Serenda more but if you are certainly into nice Ukranians and Russians girls you can try Bacardi too.

Balance: The club is located like Serenda under a hotel, named Altinisik, 3 star which is besides Serenda Otel. The club charge an entrance fee like Serenda, which is 30 Lira. (35 Lira weekends). This is a new club near to Serenda and Balance which is under a hotel too. The name of the hotel is Alahan (old Duruhan). The club was opened in 2007 and managed by the old manager of Serenda. His name is Veysel. In this club there are some differences, for example most of the girls don't dance, they seat around tables and chat eachother. Only some of them are dancing so it is weird and you cannot see the girls exactly because of this issue. The tables are around the dancefloor.

I was there 4-5 times with many friends and honestly none pf my friends like the place. Big reasons,

- girls don't dance
- the music is so loud that you cannot hear anybody

There is also a different rule in the club, that you are not allowed to spek to the girls on the dancefloor. At this stage, a question comes to my mind. What is the dancefloor for? Yes, I do go for P4P when it's a more practical application. But in areas (such as Barcelona) where P4P is really high quality, selection is vast, and rip off chances are low. Whereas in Istanbul, places like Taksim/Aksaray, the entire system is built on ripping tourists off, tipping monkeys every step you take.

In my post I did say IF YOU HAVE SOME TIME. But if you are in Istanbul for a day, and you will only be there once in a year, than of course go get ripped off for P4P.

Now if you have a little time, and if you are a decent looking guy, if you are well dressed, a bit learned, and take the time to know the culture, and not a wanker like a lot of tourists, I still say, there is no reason why you can't get laid like crazy in Istanbul. Thanks for you suggestions and infoes, I will try to follow as much as I can. I must admit that I'm living a particular period of my life and that after a stressfull long working week many time now I feel necessary to lower down the pressure with easygoing things like visiting clubs in aksaray.

Probably I'm becoming a maniac, I don't know, or may be just curiosity for a world new to me.

This weekend I decided to explore new place and I chose Gold Can.

It is located on a side street close to the police station.

Outside the name is huge but inside the club is small with 2by2 meters dance floor. Strange place, seems like one of this place used for cay and backgammon with the diference that some girls are inside.

Entrance is free and you will get a sit at the table with other people.

One drink with nuts and fruit is quoted 30ytl, may be is possible to have only the drink.

Probably 30 (or less) girls were inside. Girls sit togheters smoking and chatting and generally no dance so you can't see them properly.

Quality I can say is, as average, below standard.

If you whant to chat with a girl at your table is possible, girls drink are quoted 20ytl. DJ is just in front of the entrance, the music is so and so.

At 24:00 music stopped and turkish singer girl start her performance moving table by table.

In may opinion this place is below standard and I will not repeat.

I don't have idea about tariff for 1 or 2 hours of maniacal activity, simply I didn't ask. Probably Tania, the Russian girl that I meet at balance and told me about gold, is going to become regular at balance. I can say she would be the queen in a place like gold (according to my taste) but I'm happy for her if she move away from this place. Last week I was close to airport and on my way back from sailyolu I decided to stop for dinner in aksaray and I wanted to explore irmak restaurant.

For dinner ok, for movements nothing special. Probably I chose the wrong side of the irmak since I realized going out that another door lead to a more dark portion of the building with music inside and some lady visible from windows.

Still sampling, I took a drink at big pub. Free entrance, drink & nuts 15 ytl, dark inside and loudy music, aged ladies only. IMO they can close and I will not miss nothing. Aksaray. Only aksaray?

Any new information from the latest developement regarding Seranda. Being in Istanbul often, it is not my world favourite, but for me the best value for money in this city.

From my experiences the quality in Baccardi is of course much better, but I dislike the "you have to buy a drink prior checking the bargain" policy. Irmak is nothing for me and I always had bad luck with my seating in Big Pub. The Seranda price policy is very transparent, pay your entrance, enjoy your drink, nobody will bother you, check the girls, close the negotiations (200 Lira 2 pops) take a room (80 Lira) and go home.

Sorry no updates for the last days, but I think crisis effects the mongers and girls doing night job. I know Serenda is reopened however my contacts tell that they are under big police pressure. I have been told that the owner of Serenda ran away and is legally figutive now. CiaoIt seems crisis hit not only GM. I know nothing about perfect mongering sytle, is there really such a thing?
