I moved to Istanbul two months ago from the US. Recently I had the itch after behaving myself for most of that time. A late report!
So I was in Istanbul recently and decided to meet try my luck.

You are welcomed to your bed with a price list. In case you leave any stains, particularly blood stains on the sheets. Definitely a lot of people fucking in this hotel (quite literally).

It is sort of understandable considering Turkish society stigmas but not great in some cases for us. So if you monger, or that is you main purpose in IST stay away form other types of hotels. Your stay will suffer but girls will come easier to you.
3. Tried Ela. Single option was. Very. Meh.
4. Will make a few more tries but hopes are low. My sources are the local forum and Twitter. Tried some Tinder numbers as well. Istanbul to me seems like one of the most tricky cities to find some easy quality action. Definitely enough action around, but not easy to find quality action for the unknown. Tourist. Be prepared to pay the tourist tax making all activity quite costly and comparable to the most expensive cities in the world.
Travelling to Europe for work this month and have a 10 hour layover in Istanbul. Booked a city centre hotel. Thought my time would be well spent napping and playing. There have been a lot of questions in the thread about hotels, and today being Sunday, plenty of time on hand, I thought I would do a basic guide on choosing a hotel (with a view of punting on the sides).
This is based on my experience and by no means exhaustive. The mods if they deem fit, may pin this for easy future reference.
Istanbul is. A megacity with 100's of hotels and all big brands represented. While booking hotels, you may want to check out Odamax website, which often has better rates for some hotels but does not show up on price comparison websites.
If you stay in a 4 or a 5 star hotel you will not have any issues with guests. At most your guest will be required to register at the reception. (which in my view is always recommended for your safety).
Chances are if you travel for leisure or work, you would most likely be staying on the European Side either in the Fatih area or Sisli.
These are some of the hotels I have used and why I like them.
European Side.
1. Double Tree Hilton Topkapi: - 15-20 minutes by taxi to the main touristic attractions, although not much around the hotel otherwise.
Very reasonable priced, clean and great service. No issues with multiple guests, If ypu prefer you can pic up your guest downstairs without registering. Particularly like it because they have huge bedside mirrors to enjoy the action. I think its pretty much the same setup in. A few other Double trees, Also the bedside mirror is not aways available in some of the bigger rooms (If in doubt ask at check in or put down as preference).
2. Lionel Hotel. Topkapi. Same area as above, about 15-20 min to main attractions.
Nice clean spacious rooms, however everything other than basic is chargeable. The good thing is, if you like, upgrade to the better room with a bathtub and glass walled bathroom to enjoy the views of your companion.
3. Double Tree Hilton. Esentepe (Sisli).
Compact clean centrally located. Again, if you prefer has a glass wall partition between the room and the bathroom.
4. Hilton Bomonti - (Sisli).
Biggest Hotel in Istanbul, great vibe, great rooms and food. However you can only have one guest per stay and all guest must register at check- in. So if you planning to have multiple guests or meeting someone new, this may not be ideal choice.
5. Hyatt Centric Levent (sisli).
Another great hotel, centrally located in the business district. Good rooms and again the rooms have bathtubs and glass partition between room and bathroom. Can draw curtains here if you don't like it.
Asian Side.
1. Wyndham Grand. Kadikoy.
Good area on the asia side. Again I like it because of the mirror in the bedroom.
2. Hilton Kozyatgi.
Located in the main Highway. If you are flying in or out of Sabiha airport and have a short stay this may be an ideal choice. Plenty of shops and a shopping mall across.
Rooms are clean, service not exactly upto the Hilton standards, but no guest restrictions. Strangely enough can be booked without any credit card via some turkish websites.
3. Cityloft Apartments. I believe there are 3 of these.
Fairly cheap and can be booked for under GBP 30 and quite clean and value for money.

The Cruise Ship Port / Shopping center area is packed. Many tourists from the Gulf.

So I recently went on a 6 day trip to Istanbul.
Spent a bit more money than I wanted but at least I got what I paid for and I hope that my review will enlighten the fellow members of this thread.
Stayed on the far west the first few days in a high end Hotel (part of a larger hotel chain) and then in Taksim in a nice boutique hotel the last couple of days.
(I always book for 2 and have never encountered problems).
Even at 2 am when the receptionist called and said their would be an extra charge, I informed her that I had booked for 2 people for that specific reason and she understood and said all good.
Got a few matches on tinder but took too long to schedule and MR was slightly outdated so I resorted to the more traditional websites like escortnews and euro and sorted by newest and then when I liked a girl, I would see what agency she was from.
Day 1, tried to schedule with about 5 agencies, they were mostly reluctant due to the distance and time was getting late so I proposed for 90 min instead of 1 h and ended up paying 4 k + taxi which felt expensive.

Legality does not mean much in Turkey. Only government can operate brothels and almost anything else is illegal. Government right now being a strict religion based one makes things only worse.

Hi everyone, some brief comments and observations from my trip. A big thank you to the members here who have contributed by posting meaningful reviews and for responding to my PM's. Some of this has already been mentioned but there is not harm in mentioning it again.
I got my local SIM from the airport, there were at least 3 choices and I went with Turkcell because they had the shortest cue. The phone signal and reception for WhatsApp was very reliable.
All of the taxi's during my trip were ok, I did not get ripped off. If I did not like the price, I just politely declined and waited for the next one. About half of them used and meter and the other half didn't and we agreed on a price upfront.
Traffic is a ***** so plan accordingly. If I go back, I will use the tram. Wear decent trainers if you decide to walk, the roads where I was staying were quite hilly.
Use the hotel shuttle bus if you can to Taksim square, I did. It ran every hour and was air conditioned, and very convenient and saved a few quid.
Taksim Square is nice and lively at night. There are plenty of ATM's and money exchanges. I got over 20 Lira to the pound and was happy with that. I also got that at the airport. Getting cash was never a problem.
I saw a good looking girl applying her trade in the square. She quoted me 500 lira but it had to be at her place. Her English was non existent so it was hard to make a deal. I was not keen on going to her place as it was too risky. After I walked away, I sat down and kept an eye on her. An old man who looked like her pimp was giving her a hard time. I think I made the right decision. Another old guy asked me if I wanted to go to a bar that was full of Ukrainian and Russian girls. I got my local SIM from the airport, there were at least 3 choices and I went with Turkcell because they had the shortest cue. The phone signal and reception for WhatsApp was very reliable.
All of the taxi's during my trip were ok, I did not get ripped off. If I did not like the price, I just politely declined and waited for the next one. About half of them used and meter and the other half didn't and we agreed on a price upfront.
Traffic is a ***** so plan accordingly. If I go back, I will use the tram. Wear decent trainers if you decide to walk, the roads where I was staying were quite hilly.
Use the hotel shuttle bus if you can to Taksim square, I did. It ran every hour and was air conditioned, and very convenient and saved a few quid.
