I had some luck on Tinder in Kiev, but decided to use an agency on my last day. They sent over a fun sized girl that spoke "little English", but in truth she spoke zero English when she arrived.

Remember the times when travel was easy and you were sure about it. Now, I have upcoming break and can stay for an extended time in Kiev mostly paid for by my employer. However, I don't really know if I want to make the trip. Is it still worth it?
What do I get from going there? Some temporary fun, but even then it won't be as much fun. Can't speak the language and find Ukrainian humor really irritating. Maybe one last time?

One of the (few) reliable apartment agencies in Kiev. They have an office in Baseina street. I use that company since 5 or 6 years. But they are not the cheapest. You can find many of the Dobovo apartments on booking.com and other websites, too. Very often with a huge discount.

When I did I always paid 1 night deposit and the rest in cash on arrival, booked a pickup through the agent and they took me to the office where I paid the balance or with long stays the first couple of weeks. I suggest get central apartments between Independence Square and Bessarabska Market locales within 2 streets of Kreshatik. You can pretty much walk everywhere you want to go then and its easy for girls to access via subway or Mashutka. I used to use UAApartments and occasionally Kievrent but as its been so long can't really recommend anyone.

I rented one of those flats in Odessa! I read many reviews and some people complain it is the same apartment but it is worn out in reality. So I booked a hotel room the 1st night. They are asking 59 Euros for 1 month membership. That's way too much for an unknown site. And interesting thing is as soon as I sign up, I received email messages from profiles they are not even filled properly.

Sorry for late reply, haven't been on this board for a while, yes your right, I'm in my 50's, but can get away with younger, but yeah, I'm a regular gym goer and am in good shape anyway. I was in Kiev a few weeks ago. First time in several years. Nice to be back. Was especially inspired by the Euromaiden memorial.
I go to Club Rio, first time, I'd heard it was the closest thing to a River Palace.

The Context. I'm early 40's, live in NYC, european, non-smoker, clean-shaven. Know my way around a strip club. Was actually a strip club bartender for a while.

There have been interesting points raised recently on the forum that I would like to contribute to. I landed in Kiev 5 days ago.
Background:
I have visited Kiev for hobby purposes 8 times since 2009. However, this is my first trip since the summer of 2012. Kiev has been unusually warm this December with highs of 8 C. However, this will change next week as the temperatures will drop to a low of -11 C! The current exchange rate is 24.5 UAH to a Dollar and 26.5 UAH to the Euro. I am on the wrong side of 50, know some Russian and do not have a particular budget- which means, within reason, I spend as I see fit. I have a good size black book with lots of telephone numbers and I have done my homework mostly on Mamba before landing in Kiev. I have setup evening dates for the first two nights of my arrival. I have rented an apartment in the center close to many EU embassies in Kiev.
Safety:
I know this has been discussed extensively in the forum recently. The center appears to be void of any police presence. I am not sure I have seen any police officers or vehicles since I arrived. I am not sure if this is good or bad as Ukraine police's reputation is less than stellar! Private security guards appear in front of most embassies though including the German and the Swedish. Some reports had expressed safety concerns. Frankly, I had never been concerned about my personal safety before in kiev and walked the City streets at all different hours but I must confess this trip I have been more careful as there are more dangerous looking elements on the streets of the center. Let us not over react here, I still do not believe kiev is any less safe than London, New York or Paris. So let us keep things in perspective but yes safety situation in Kiev is not as good as before.
Prices:
If you think Kiev is a bargain because of the current exchange rates or the state of the economy in Ukraine, you are in for a shock. Accommodation (Western Style) , decent food and the girls have all adjusted for the exchange rate pretty much. Alright let us discuss girl prices as I think food and accommodation is not what we are here for in this forum. I will share with you club girl prices, Rio girl prices and Mamba girl prices. I met two club girls who quoted me $300 for an hour or two. Subjectively I would rate them 8-9 which I declined naturally. Rio girls (those that actually go out) are still $300 for 3 hours and yes you do have to pay in advance; the club does not offer credit! You pay the girl before taking her out. Mamba girls have been discussed at length but they also know the value of their relative beauties and charms. If you can actually get their real photos on Mamba, those that I subjectively rate as 5 or less can be had for around 1500 UAH for 1-2 hours. Those that I subjectively rate at 5-7, ask for $100 but may be ok with 2000 UAH for short time (2 hours). The prettier ones, those that I subjectively rate at 7-9, all 3 stopped responding to my messages when I offered them 3000 UAH for short time (ST)! So I do not know for sure what they would go for but I do not need to know I guess! In short, the days when you could stick to your guns and offer 1000 UAH for 2-3 hours for a decent girl are long gone.
RIO:
The demise of RIO is greatly exaggerated. I live two blocks away from the club and drop by often not so much to pick up girls but more because I like to see naked girls (topless) move on stage for an hour or two before retiring. Yes it is true the quality of girls at RIO has gone down over the years but again from my perspective, I would accept 90% of the RIO girls to bed, I would pay $300 for 3 hours to about 10% of the RIO girls. I am hoping this is common sense for most of us.
2. Clubs are dead (really dead) mid week but become uncomfortably crowded over the weekends.
3. Smoking indoors (clubs-bars) is still the norm in Kiev based on the evidence I have witnessed so far.
4. Traffic is worse than I remembered; I would compare it to NY and London in the center of kiev! perhaps because of the holidays, the traffic has been worse? Be careful walking on the streets ; do not assume as a pedestrian you have the right of way anywhere!
5. You read about doomsday scenario about the country's Economy in most publications; well i am not sure this has really reached the Kiev public. I saw no evidence of panic anywhere. Ukrainian rich spend money like it is going out of style. It is still common to see flashy cars driven by 22 year old girls and boys of the wealthy.
6. I went over lunch today to Maiden where they have photos of the recent dead due to the recent political events\war. I ended up contributing to 7 different collector boxes as every regiment in the armed forces and hospital serving the military in Ukraine is raising funds separately. If true, this does not surprise me entirely.
7. I am here for another week or so. I will do another report after I get home. I guess the question some of you may be asking is " is it worth going to Kiev to monger still?". I am not sure I have an answer for you so far. Maybe by the end of next week, I will have more to say about that.

There can be only one very not sharp knife so it's difficult to cut things. Corkscrew can be missing. Frying pan may be totally worn out so it can not be used. If you don't want do anything at all in kitchen it doesn't matter. However from 50 USD closing up to 100 USD I think they should address these things better. (I did not try any of their more expensive apartments) Besides this matter everything has worked very well with them.

I did a quick trifecta of failure on the infamous Kiev Wednesday night.
Tried the new strip club "Flirt House".
Pros: Fairly large size club with a lot of seating.
Cons: pay money to watch cows dance.
I was the only one there and I lasted for one drink. I should have just turned and ran. Unbelievable that they would attempt this in downtown Kiev within a golf shot of 3 other established strip clubs. The girls were horrifying. This is not even by Kiev standards, this is like by backwoods Arkansas standards or the middle of the jungle in an undiscovered African tribe standards. Had WiFi that didn't work. Ordered whiskey, they didn't have it. There is nothing so bad as when an 80 kilo girl comes off the stage and tries to cosy up to you with her coffee and cigarette breath and says, "want private dance?" At night on Kreschatik you can't walk without having at least four police cars in visual range with flashing lights. I don't know if that is good or bad. For tourists police presence is kind of good unless the police want to talk to you then it's very bad.
I got kind of creeped out for the first time ever in Kiev, I didn't feel OK on the street and if I want to sit in a room with 100 guys from Turkey I can go to Istanbul (no offense really to guys from Turkey, it's just that I like to come here to meet Ukrainian girls and because you guys move in a huge wave and flush all the girls away in front of you, you kind of ruin the whole thing. I never had any problems there but one time (before Maidan) I saw the cops beat up some demonstrates severely. It was night at the Lenin statue and these very peaceful dorky looking persons of all ages was just standing there with some signs and a tent. I saw them earlier that day, but at around midnight someone had enough and a bunch of big men in round hats and various tools, decided that the best way to stop this demonstration was to beat the shit out of these poor fucks. I have reported a similar experience in previous year, but I can't guess this trouble has become the rule in Kiev.
I would give my real address but always wait outside on the look out for anything suspicious. A independent semi pro will want to meet outside and take a good look at you before entering a building. If they ask for an apartment number in advance, it's almost for sure an agency. I would always cancel if they were escorted by a man to the building or the "taxi driver" waited.

First time I went to Tokyo many years ago I didn't know about ISG or any other forum, needless to say it cost me a lot of money in expensive mistakes and of all places in the world I've been to I had my drink spiked by the Nigerian manager of a hostess club in Shinjuku. The morale of this, I should've researched Shinjuku as a place with many scams unlike other parts of Tokyo which are very safe.

From Europe its very easy and cost effective to fly to Gdansk in Poland and its just a ride on the bus or train to Kaliningrad and at times of crises its much easier to leg it out back to Poland.

I can't say anything about how much Kharkov's changed since 2009, I moved on. I can say that what I studied here proved to be true, in both what I experienced down south on the Volga, and because I have not read anything here, or seen enough fotos, to make me believe that I missed much in Kharkov, compared to the last 9 years traveling in the heart of our Motherland.
It can be kind of depressing dragging out some of the past glories, you know, there's no going back. Kiev itself was way off the charts before they bulldozed the little fountain and built the fucking mall underground, way back when mamachka Zhana ran her expensive dyevs agency in the Kyiv Post. Fuck, that's even before Mystery tramp and that whole ungodly era.
Please don't discount the importance of having the right acquaintances, unfortunately all of mine in Ukraine dried up. Still, I'm convinced if I had invested more time, spoke better Russian then, and made more of an effort to make the right friends, it surely could have kept me from leaving. For me, Russian pastures were much greener. You can't stop progress. Think about it, who would've ever imagined that Putin would outlaw smoking in bars? If that's doesn't tell you what you need to know, you might want to increase your Ritalin dose.
Sadly, what those early masters foretold has pretty much held true, which is why I really urge you boys to put away your scout uniforms, pull out your platinum cards, and like I said already, take a deep breath, and head for time zone UTC +6. Some of you guys underestimate the greediness of Ukrainian women. No matter how bad you think the economy is, how expensive prices become in the stores or how much more the Ukrainian currency devalues. Girls will just quote prices in dollars and euros. Sure there are still girls to be had in salons near the center for 1500 uah but the quality is long gone. In short, my friends and I will be traveling through Kiev on a long layover. I followed the hype, and one temporary lucky strike kept me going. After several trips I thought I had finally struck gold: I met an intelligent and fresh English speaking student stripper and saw her a few more times, she often refused money. Demand for trips to Russia during the summer months among German travelers — who made the most reservations — was up 34.6 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the study.
The number of bookings made by travelers from Israel has risen by 55 percent. The interest from the tourists from Norway and Britain in trips to Russia has grown by 127.9 percent and 143.9 percent respectively, according to data from Momondo.
The study also revealed that foreign travelers are now traveling to Russian destinations other than the traditionally popular Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The number of tourists willing to travel to the Urals city of Yekaterinburg has risen by 38.6 percent and the demand for trips to Siberia's Irkutsk has shown 99.5 percent growth.
The surge in demand for trips to Russia has also been registered by the Skyscanner online flight booking system. The number of early flight bookings to Russia from foreign countries for June this year is 35 percent higher than last year, Skyscanner data revealed.

I know this is not a easy question but what is considered a fair monthly amount for sponsorship?

I tell for my style of LT mongering is that 3 yr multiple entry visa. Ukraine only gives 90 days within 180 days.

I can't say there's so much of a difference in women's libido between these countries. Ukraine ladies were amazing. Hey guys,
I am thinking about checking out Kiev and st Petersburg, I really don't know much about either but from what I can gather you can live quite cheaply there but maybe the girls aren't so cheap?
Instead of coming here and asking a ton of noob questions I was just wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction of a good site or sites that are a little easier to get caught up on the basics, I love ISG but these threads jump all over the place and learning about a new place isn't so easy here.

All politics aside, your video scene is a just a snapshot of what plays out for any typical day in the normal life at EVERY university and institute from Vladivostok to Lviv, Murmansk to Sevastopol, and every other FSU city in between.
You would already know that, and not be laughing your ass off about it, if you had already been lucky enough to have taught or have been invited many times by professors there to speak to classes at different institutions. This was my good fortune, for several years, from ten to fifteen years ago in eastern Ukraine.
I do not deny, that in the beginning, I was also overwhelmed by the magnitude of the attractiveness of these ladies. You need to check yourself though, as that awe rather quickly fades when you face the reality that your chances are basically zero to ever hook up with 98% of them, unless you happen to be Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt. For me, friendships were easy, but I made the personal choice not to take advantage of that and lower myself down to baseless urges of filthy mongering. For me, meeting a lady that was a student of my professor friend, or of the teachers I knew that invited in to their classes, was more about maintaining a level of respect and possible long term serious relationships that could lead to getting married. In other words, this can be a place where you find a person of quality. I did pursue some of the ladies I met this way, but always as a gentleman, out of great respect for the teachers. You don't shit where you eat, as they say.
Were there some bad girls there too? No doubt brother! No shortage of heartbreaking vamps, tramps, and skamps. More than enough to keep your head spinning around until your neck aches. I guess I was also fortunate enough that I almost always had several other options and sources to hook up with for mongering, that I did not need to depend on the university for sponsoring. Most classes I visited were a lot smaller than your video, with anywhere from 10 to 20 students. Since I am not Tom Cruise, when I would make my mobile number available to the class, letting them know I needed to hire someone to assist me with translating etc. , the ones that did usually call were unfortunately not the hot ones, but the plainest ones that I just wasn't interested in. That's just my own usual sad result in life, never get the one I really want, usually only the one I don't!
Over the years, all my teacher contacts there moved on, and simply being a visitor from the West faded as something new and interesting. One of the teachers had told me she had family in a big city in central Russia, she suggested I should visit. That's actually one of the reasons I ended up going, and leaving Kharkov behind. The best decision I ever made.
Come to think about it, one of the best friends I ever made in Russia, was a lady at university. Back in 2009 or 2010, when escort agencies still were allowed to have local ladies working, (since around 2011-12, they ONLY offer ladies from Africa), I met someone who ended up introducing me to many of her girlfriends. You can hang around the cafes and parks near the entrance, but that's a little creepy. Keep in mind everything I already told you, that what you see in Ukraine, only gets more and more interesting, as you traverse eastward into the glorious heart of the sacred motherland.

Tao Cabaret in place of where Arena Stars was. They still have the same interior, but most of the girls are not any better. Private dance costs 500 uah for two tracks and take-out costs 316 usd for four hours. Good bartender, though. The girls were mostly fake breasts and the ones that didn't have fake breasts would have been better off with them. One girl had breasts that looked like old grannie breasts not a good look for a twenty something. Strip clubs are for fools and people that don't want to do day approach. Went to Tao last night and got hassled by manager all night to tip girls. She even went so far to threaten me with bouncer if I didn't tip. Then I found a taxi driver and we went to Saloons. No good girls and at 2000 UAH an hour, the choices should have been better.
