No easy fuck anywhere.I'm going to Lviv with some friends half of July for business and fun. So it seems its crappy in Lviv. From a friend I heard there are beautiful girls but not as beautiful and easy as in Moldova, but easier than in western europe. So, if thats the case. I can life with it. But is Lviv really that bad? And which cities in Ukrain are best? Another friend told me that the cities near the black sea are the best places to in the summer.
I am planning to go clubbing. Do you guys have any good tips for clubs in Lviv? I want to visit both student bars and the more exclusive clubs as well. What do you recommend?
And for comparison how much does for example a Heineken cost in the most exclusive club in Lviv?

1. Disco Millenium, the most famous one. Open every day with young, well off crowd 2. Disco Metro, big disco with youth of average income who want to dance etc 3. Disco Picasso, small disco with students
Chances to pull in disco. Slim till non-existent except some days. (anyway not like in the past).
Chances to pull in the central square: Non-existent.
Chances to pull in the street: Exist but basic knowledge of Russian is needed
Generally you need to know the map of the region, some good places which of course are not to be revealed. P4p very bad, mediocre looking girls, 50$ per hour.
The West is the best, mongers have destroyed all places one way or another.

Lviv I must say has some of the most beautiful girls I've seen, and in large numbers. Getting a date with freebie is very hard work though and you'll have to talk to loads to be able to hook up with one.
Metropolis, just outside the centre, is a good high end place. Very quiet during the week though.
Don't worry about the price of anything, it's all very cheap (unless you go to Split, a rip-off strip club in the centre. Well, not exactly rip off but unnecessarily pricey).

If you expect something like "RiverPalace" in Lviv: No chance.
Exclusive club in Lviv (for example) is "chocolate". But expect dresscode. This club is just around the corner from Metro Disco (only for the young people). If you stand in front of Metro go right and around the building.
"Metro" Disco is full of students. A lot of arabian students, too. Too many boys at all. It's cheap and on some days it's free for the students. Not easy for boys 30+ to find girl in Metro Disco.
"Millenium" is very nice, but only on Saturday. It's too big and during the week it looks very empty, without any atmosphere.
Beware "Misto". Taxi drivers want you to go there. It's not in the center and the taxi drivers make a lot of money Misto is good if you are with some friends. They have little disco, restaurant, bowling and stripclub. You can find some girls for money. But better don't go there.
"Zanzibar" is a little bit outside of the center. Nice atmosphere. I like it, but they have just and only "bum, bum, bum" music. Not easy to talk with some girls, because it's so noisy. I think people who like drugs like to go there, too.
"Fashion" is in the center. Near to hotel Wien. It's not too big, but it's very trendy. Don't expect to find cheap girls in Fashion.

Lviv. No one as talked about the split club go there at 10 pm at night great and yes you can get phone numbers and fuck the girls. Also the hairy Lemon. Not a great name but ok. Some people look at the map of Ukraine and try to choose some place to visit. You should take into consideration some things.
1. The people who know the right places have spent considerable time, money and effort to learn them through trial and error.
2. You can get some clues taking some factors into account.
Factors are:
1. Population. The city has to have more than 200000 inhabitants otherwise it is impossible to penetrate the social network and keep anonymity
2. Unemployment. The city has to have more than 5% unemployment otherwise it is impossible to get easy to shag low cost freebies
3. Economic activity. Industrial cities are better than cities whose economy is based on agriculture (there are reasons for that)
4. Education. The cities with university are to be prefered. (abudance of students, the obvious reason, there are some more ones).
The theory of spheres:
1. The austrohungarian sphere. All the places where the austrohungarian empire was present before 1914. Gold. They are the best regions regarding appearance, quality and availability of women. Also the best in terms of culture of women.
2. The soviet sphere. All the regions under communistic rule after 1917. These are the hardcore regions. High risk, high reward.
Some people prefer the first sphere, some the second. It depends on the personality, general characteristics, education, wealth, age, appearance of the traveller, basically his point of view.

OK so first my local Atlas bar, I have been in there every night this week, between 8pm and about midnight before moving onto other spots, its still very good with still the mix of rich kids, part timers and full timers. I was offered a full timer for the night on Thursday for $150 she was about a 7 on my scale a little portly for me as she must have been over 55 kilo, but that's my personal taste ;) I also hooked up two nights on the trot with a part timer, and seriously thinking about perhaps doing my first ever sponsorship, I have not paid her a cent yet, but banged her twice, met her on Flirt over the holidays.... watch this space on that one.... Motel, the number of girls there is seriously on the increase, but the quality is pretty low in general..... expect to pay $50 to $100 for a hour to a night.

I am considering spending a whole month this summer in a middle-class seaside party resort frequented almost exclusively by FSU vacationers, and Sudak in East Krimea seems a good option. I understand that this kind of place is russian-speaking only, yet I don't really care as my target will be vodka-fuelled club sluts on debauchery vacations, which strikes off most of the language problems and the long sweet-talking flirts.
But save the inspiring report of Slutlover a few years ago, there's nothing about Sudak on the forum.
Anyone been there recently during summertime ? ....is one month too long in such a small resort ? (I have NO idea of the density of population during peak touristic season) .... any chances to find russians dyevs ? (Sudak seems to be really close from russian border) ...no excessive risks to be constantly threatened by drunk gopniki ?

I have been not too far from there, in Feodossia. Good nightlife, only FSU visitors (direct train from Moscow !). But a terrible beach area.

Spending a month in Sudak and you may die out of boredom.
Sudak is small place, during soviet time it was exclusive summer resort for people of soviet film industries. People from film studios like Mosfilm and Lenfilm, directors, actors, etc. Today is the same, sudak is place again for film industry and some oligarhs. Common people was not allowed there.
Even today people from Russian don't like to go there. So meeting russian dyevs can be a problem and those you meet will be high demanding so make sure your pocket is full. But there are plenty of people from Caucasus like Chechens and Dagestanis. The word is most hotels in Sudak are owned by chechen mafia and even in 2006 there was a car bomb killing whole bunch of Chechens. Otto is right, Evpatoria is much better option, at least it's bigger place. Sudak is just a shit hole with hotels. My reccomendation is Balaklava. Cheap place, not many tourists, it's 12 km from Sevastopol. This means you can use Sevastopol as hunting ground and finding russian girls is no problem since 80% of Sevastopol population are Russians. This doesn't mean you will be succesfull of course, expecially if your russian is close to none.
Another option to think of is Azov sea. Towns Berdyansk and Jalta (not Jalta in Crimea this is different place with same name). It is not Crimea but people (girls) who go there don't have enough money for Crimea so this is cheaper alternative. Visitors are almost exclusive from ukrainian city Mariupol which has majority of russian population, and from russian cities Taganrog and Rostov-on-Don. Again russian laguage is essential so if you don't speak it then it's tough luck. Even with russian knowledge pulling a local girl from Berdyansk is close to impossible, better chances are with some out of town girl staying there for holiday.

Last year I stayed in a small, but good hotel in Evpatoria, about 300 yards from the beach walk. And very close to the centre of night-life. Booked it just "on the spot".
Not cheap, 60$ for the double. Because soon I am going again to UA (Nikolaev) by car, I will check out accomodation (small flat) for myself for this summer in advance in Evpatoria, too.

I only passed through, several times, but it seemed nice, had a great pastry shop. Beaches are nice, lots of tail, but many with families or their russian boyfriends.
Could think of a lot of worse places to spend a summer, but its also true that if you don't have steady hot girlfriends, it could be ultra-boring. Might be better to move around? A week at each beach town? Unless you make the right connections?

Well, because particularly of the logistical problems I don't like to move around in vacations. Also I think that twelve days (two weekends) is the strict minimum to "understand" a place and to have the most chances to meet girls, woo them and score. Three weeks is better, and one month (or more) tiptop.
Sevastopol seems to be an interesting option, thanks. Surely a good blend of seaside atmosphere and big city life.

The fear in Sevastopol is that the annual influx of Russian tourist this year is not going to happen due to "The Crisis" not too sure myself, the ones that arrive in early June and leave again end of August maybe yes maybe no, inflation is out of control, any imported goods from a bottle of soy sauce to electronic gear has gone crazy and is out of reach of many of the locals.

I think, that this is NOT valid for the holiday spots. In case, you have some knowledge already before, like where is the main walking area with open cafes, without traffic and, most important, where are the discos (either the cheap ones, or the exclusive ones), you do not need much time. The point is, that most of the single girls are there only for 2 weeks usually, 3 weeks max. So they have to catch as much fun as possible in that short period of time. And to find some type of friend or sponsor :-)
I had very good expirience last year to invite a girl from Evpatoria beach to kazantip. She was very thankful, because of the entrance fee she herself would not have afforded to pay :-)

Has anyone been to Zaporizhia? I will be heading there in late april/early may. I hear its a lot shadier in the eastern parts of Ukraine than the west. In a place like this I dont imagine there would be many tourists.

I've been to Zaporozhie several times.
There's no need to wast your time on it, especially if you're newbie to Ukraine. Check the forum and info about Zaporozhie is almost non existing which says for it self.
Zaporozhie is just big, provincial, industrial place.
It always amuses me how a city big az Zaporozhie (population 800 000) can be so boring. You can die out of boredom after two days.
In Zaporozhie one can go for two reasons:
1. You go there on bussines and somebody else (like your company) is paying
you costs.
2. You know local people who will give you all needed support.
I go to Zaporozhie because of the second.

Also in Zaporozhie people have a tricky mentallity thanks to their Cossac origin. Krime is high in Zaporozhie, in any form exisiting. About 100 km south from Zaporozhie is city Melitopol, called crime capital of Ukraine. And Zaporozhie is called Melitopol's first filiale.
When I ask people in Ukraine which is the worst city in Ukraine grat majority will say Zaporozhie and Lugansk. Guess they know why is that. That reminds me of situation I had two years ago in Moscow. I was in the company of several people and one of them was American working for the Moscow company. The company offered him a job to choose in Zaporzhie or Lugansk. So he asked his russian work mates which city to choose. Everybody told him "Stay in Moscow or go back to USA" he he.
Also when I ask local people in Zaporozhie what people live there the answer is only those who were born in Zaporozhie and are not able to go to some other place.
The only reason why some foreigner should go to Zaporzhie is to see power plants, hydro and nuclear. Seriously. So Sehns if you're going to Zaporozhie as tourist (sex or any other kind) my advice is to change your destination. Exept you're a hardcore explorer and adventurere, you're expert about Ukraine and you speak good russian.

Sorry, but I have to disgree what has been posted earlier about Sudak. I spend there quite a few days in 2007 and also passed it on my way to Russia last year.
And all I can say I still can not forget the beatiful chix I have met. And Sudak as such is also one of the really nice places on Crimea.
For those who still feel young enough to go out and join the party scene, Sudak is certainly a good option. In the clubs where plenty of girls from all over Eastern Europe willing to enjoy the moment

I have an offshore office of guys who work for me online there, and I'll be visiting on business.
The reason it doesn't 'seem' that bad is that all my workers speak english, I even have a few young, not bad looking female english speaking workers. They promise me they'll look after me, take me out and introduce me to other girls, etc.
My office manager says theres a 24hr gdp/casino hotel I could stay at. Have you heard of this?

Both business and local support. It might turn out good but don't be dissapointed if it doesn't.
But don't expect to much since I noticed that many people from Zaporozhye tend to present their city much better than actually it is.
If the people who work for you are locals which I presume.
About hotels I know about this. Several hotesl are situated on main street. Prospekt Lenina. I know about this two:
- hotel "Inturist/Zaporozhye" (old/new name) on prospekt Lenina 135 number I think.
- hotel "Ukraina" also on prospekt Lenina 165 (by the buliding of local government) They are old soviet hotels but they look the best. They are rated three stars. Also there's "Jazz" hotel which is rated with four stars but it's little too far away. My recommendation for staying is hotel "Ukraina". Don't know it's the best hotel regarding quality and service. But it has the best location in center of town. In Zaporozhye (as in many cities in Ukraine) everything you need is located in center. Very close to hotel "Ukraina" is main post office, bank, supermarket, different state departments, offices, everything else for business. In the night there are restaurants and night clubs.
Places to go (I put the names in english):
"White steamboat", "Versailles", "Olimp", "Green parrot", "Paradise Coctail". Maybe this are places at the level but keep in mind there's not much choices in Zaporozhye.
Anyway don't expect much in Zaporozhye. It's just a provincial place.
About 24hr gdp/casino hotel I don't know. Maybe it's just a place I mentioned in the center of city, or maybe somethnig new and in this case maybe some distance form the center.
About english speaking it means you will depenand of "your" people there and what they offer.

Normally you do not need even to go to a proper Apoteka to buy them. A Apoteka "kiosk" a smaller one, usually in a supermarket or in a shopping centre, have them exposed in the window, just ask or point what you want, nobody will care.
They know you are drilling the teens! :p :p
Some Apoteka in hotels have them too (not everywhere like in Moscow!).
Usually they are genuine (no fakes). So not cheap but sure!

I am in Simferopol for a couple of days and want to share some experiences.
The city has 350 000 inhabitants, so neither small neither big.
First I was there in the central located (Kirova Avenue) Globus Night Club/Discotheque, for this city this is an upscale place, Entrance 50 Grivna, Long-Drink 35 Grivna, Bottled-Beer 25 Grivna, nice atmosphere with some really great looking stunners, but I guess that local girls who can afford the prices there, usually are not interested in short-term relationships with foreigners.

OK well soon i will leave Donetsk, on a self imposed exile..... Standard situation: going there you won't gain much, not going there you won't loose anything.
To compare, Nikolaev is much better especially if you know your way around.
Much better option is to bring her to Nikolaev since it's not far.

Pretty dead town build around mines. Population is around 700 000, mostly rough russian miner and metalurgy workers families.
Krivoy Rog is narrow and very long city(some 130 km). Hunting can be problematic, most people are not used to foreginers since not many of them go there.

There are basically three places it seems: 5th Element, Hollywood and Pit Stop. Visitors are so-so. Sometime it was somehow packed, sometime pretty empty. The problem is this places are very visited with minors like 14-16 year old school kids. There is face control but this kids simply pay security to let them inside. There are many minor girls who pretend to be older so pay attention if you're hitting on 14 year looking older to avoid problems.

In KR there's a total of 7 hotels. Most of them are old soviet type and two are build after independence. So they are better ones - "Viktoria" and "Aurora" hotels. They most probably cost more. Cheap hotels are soviet ones.

Since summer holiday season is over some hotels can be closed since they are located out of town.
I recommeden you two hotels in the city: "Kerch" and "More".
They are not some high class places but not dump also. Will do for few days.
Good restaurant is called "Na Dvoryanskoi", for pizza check "Zhar pizza", grill bars "Inki" and "Navigator".
For the night time theres a place call ed "Soyuz". This is a place which has everythnig like billiard, bowling, "Red Star" disco, "Republic" bar. In this bar every Wednesday there's a strip show with two girls. Can't be compared with similar thing in real strip places but attraction for local audience.

When do you visit? Hello Sevastopol1, thank you for replying and sorry for the late response. I plan to be in Sevastopol in the middle of May next year. Yes, it's still a long time between now and then, but just wanted to know the action before hand. Hotel Meridian, 20grivna ride from central square, 500 grivna for best room, no internet and no any services, breakfast available, hot water during limited periods. No any "action" noted at both hotels.
May be better to try other (next ime I will) like Hotel Kerch and Hotel Classic. Lenin street and square are the central part with almost all "attractions".
Tried two restaurants around main square, Friska and Season's. Useless to repeat about language barrier. Season's most popular for 20-30 yo.
In Lenin street possible one or to pub-biliard with wi-fi.
On Lenin square is Faraon disco, according to taxi driver the best disco at the moment. Went inside for free, drinks little overpriced but ok. Folks 20-30 yo. No "action" noted.

1. Serbia, has submitted its application to join the European Union on 19 dec, and on the same day, visa requirements for Serbian citizens have been abolished for travel to the Union.
2. This is the reward for Serbia for playing ball with western demands, and is a message for the Ukraine, with elections coming up in January, as which path to take. If Serbia is welcome in the EU, then Ukraine is more than welcome.
3. Even if Ukraine is a long way to go before joining the EU, travel requirements to the EU for its citizens could ease, if election results are encouraging.
4. This could only mean higher prices all round, just take a look at what is happening in poland and other EE countries, that joined the union.
5. With this in mind, and having done most of Eastern and Central Europe purely for P4P, I have to plan ahead and spread my wings in search of cheap blondekas.

Kaliningrad isn't an historical motherland province, its a post-WWII Prussian trophy/ pre-cold war outpost possession territory, like the Kuril islands stolen from Japan. Didn't they keep it to have their only year-round ice-free Soviet Baltic Fleet access naval base? There's nothing russian about it, its just a post-cold war Lithuanian-Polish NATO sandwich anomaly. But how can you compare that with Minsk, population 1.8 million, plus another 1.2 million more in its satellite cities? That's a LOT of financially needy styudenkas!! There's practically nothing about Minsk that ISN'T russian. There's nothing russian about Kaliningrad, exept the Russians living there.
The city itself with population of 430 000 has 78% of Russians and Kaliningrad Oblast with population of around 970 000 has 82% of Russians. All pre war non russian population was kicked out in 1945.
Anyone interested in belarus girls don't worry. There's plenty of them in Kaliningrad and they are more slutty than their Minsk counterparts.

Ukrainian friend of mine got married at the ZAGS in Cherkassy just prior to xmas and I went along to experience my 3rd (but best ukrainian wedding).
For information's sake, Cherkassy is about 160 km south of Kiev and pretty easy to get to by car. I'm not sure you'd call it a city although there are close to half a million people there apparently.
It's a pretty grey place but there were a few good bars there. The main thoroughfare is nothing to write home about either, few shops and the obligatory statue of comrade lenin. From what I can gather absolutely nothing in the way of mongering, but plenty in the way of pretty young dyevs hitting the beers hard on a weekend.
We ended up in a bar called Bierstube after the wedding meal, which had a club next to it. The wedding itself was phenomenal fun, and because the missus was still at home visiting her folks, it gave me latitude to talk to the local ladies.
The girl I woke up who initially said she was 25 later admitted to being 29 and having a 7 year old son at home, but despite us both waking up with raging hangovers, we managed to have a pretty decent time in the shower.
My advice, if you want to hook up with girls for free, get yourself near a wedding party!

Kazantip parties? KaZantip is at the other end of the Crimea, close to the villages of Popovka and Mirny, which themselves are close to Yevpatoriya.
There is the Kazantip peninsula but the last time the Kazantip festival was held there was sometime in the 1990s.
Mainly useful during summer time only.
As a base for Kazantip parties with some holiday villages around.
But can't be compared with staying in places between Yalta and Feodosia.
Kerch is trying to get visitors from southern part of Russia but they prefer their own places along eastern coast of Black Sea like Anapa, Gelendzik, Tuapse, Sochi.
Well boys, I ended up in Nikolaev again for some days. No pics unfortunately. Bez, I will try to do better on that, you raise a fair point, especially after all the fotos you've provided.
Some context: I'm a late 30's American. I speak a bit of Russian, not great, but enough to communicate basic concepts. I did standard P4P twice, but my main emphasis was searching for short term sponsorettes and freebies based on advance emailing and previous stays in the area.
The standard P4P: When passing through before I have found that in this small city it seems tough to find P4P using newspaper ads or other ads. I have never tried talking to taxi drivers. I have found that one good way is to go to the saunas. They've had girls every time I've asked for one, and often pretty good ones. In the past I've paid around 250 UA to rent the sauna, and 300 UA including taxi for the girl. The girls are in general reluctant for safety reasons to arrange a second meeting that's at you apartment, rather than at the sauna. This time I paid 500 UA for girl 1 and 350 UA a different day for girl 2. Long story short it worked out for them to come to the apartment, so there were no extra costs, and taxi money is included in those numbers. As you might expect, girl 1 was better looking than girl 2. I would give girl 1 a 7 in looks and girl 2 a 5. 75. Both had excellent attitudes and seemed to enjoy the sex. Since I didn't delve deeply into the P4P this time, I can't say whether these are good prices or bad prices, but I suspect that most P4P in Nikolaev would fall in the the 350-500 UA range (all prices are for an hour). I really don't think you'd pay more. It looks like we can say that the provinces are significantly cheaper than Kiev or Odessa.
The short-term sponsorettes (or lack thereof): Again, Nikolaev is a small city. There are only 100 or so girls on Mamba whose profiles state that they are looking for a sponsor. I emailed most of them. In a nutshell, one materialized who was super sweet and really keen and quite happy to have sex for 250UA in "help" per instance, and stay for hours, but she didn't have the greatest body. I stopped after a couple of times, because I figured why come all this way to do something I can do in the States, I. E. Get it on with a girl with a so-so figure. Other than her, two cuter ones met me, but couldn't be convinced to have sex over the short time I was there, and eveyone else was a succession of "I'm busy, maybe tomorrow" etc. Emails. I find that to a greater extent than North American women Ukrainian girls never say no, even when the answer is no, they just say sure, but tomorrow, or they say yes, and then don't do the thing they've said yes about. I'm not sure what to think about the short term sponsoring, my best guess is that in a bigger city with more time the potential should be pretty good. I did by the way email quite a few non-sponsor girls and ask if they were interested in sponsorship. A few wrote back angry replies, but the odd one said yes, or yes I know someone. I definitely did not get the feeling that girls needed money badly and were coming out of the woodwork for financial help. I think some of them have very low incomes, but we don't seem to be seeing the eagerness for sponsorship that one would hope for. Again, I think with more time the potential for every kind of action in Ukraine is big, and we're seeing that from some of the posters who are there full time (like freebie Sevman's pics & reports for example).
The freebies: did fairly well by hooking up with one really nice one for a few days, but this was for sure a result of knowing the area and having some basic Russian skills. Not to say that a guy can't do well as a tourist, some guys seem to, but for me it's taken some local experience to get into the groove.
I hope that's helpful guys. Thanks to everyone who has been posting good reports on the boards for the FSU countries. I'm looking forward to my next swing thorough the area, and hopefully getting some pics too.

Your perspectives are a little murky.
Bringing up the subject of sponsoring BEFORE you meet them, works less well than waiting to meet and quietly bringing it up over a cup of tea in a cafe. And it also has to do with the way you bring it up, discussing how difficult things are for her and her family, and how you have so much more than you really will ever need, except for how badly you need her to help you with your feelings of loneliness, and that you don't want a bad girl, you want her because she's a good girl.
And all that doesn't do a bit of good either, for many of the really hot ones. But other times it does. Anyway, for the ones that still won't budge, then you know you've got your work cut out for you, but you'll use the 3 strikes rule, unless you become a real local with unlimited time to invest.

Even though the first date was just a five minute walk together as we met on the main street while she was on her way to get the bus home, so I don't know if that one counted as a true opportunity. Taxi drivers can help, but not all the time. Just depends on who they know. Most will try to help, even if they only know where hookers hang around. Once in a while, one will have a very good connection. That's the one you want, without him, you'd be very unlikely to find that special mamachka.
Good point Bez, I think that is a better idea. The part I find tough is the constant battle against TIME, I. E. For every girl that isn't open to whatever it is, short-term sponsorship for example, there goes one chunk or maybe the whole of the afternoon/evening, etc. You've talked about the time problem also. That's why I was trying to do some pre-screening, but I guess there's probably no perfect method as a short-term visitor.

At some point, after you've read enough, you'll GET IT, that its the ones who write in that style and consistently do not post fotos of those girls they write bragging stories about, that are actually only able to fuck the dumpy plain janes. They have no standards. Its so much easier to be lazy and settle for something that's not special. You can tell, after a while. It gets obvious, too.

first there are two levels of trains, one is much better than the other though a little more expensive. i took the better train and the ukrainians on the train with me confirmed that it was much better than the other, older train option. i usually fly but the train was going to get me there faster than waiting for a flight and i was happily surprised. the train has sleeper cars with 4 to a room, the cheaper train just has seats (from what i was told) and it is hard to catch some sleep on if you are traveling overnight like i was. i traveled with my girlfriend who speaks russian and english so it was a bit easier for me. ukrainians for the most part only are going to speak russian and their comprehension for even the most basic words of any other languages is going to be very limited. everyone here says it and it is very true. i speak spanish amongst other languages (though no russian) and the only time i had a chance to speak with a non english speaker besides basic greetings like hello, thank you, etc was to a portuguese taxi driver of all things.
donetsk in general has a quiet town/ industrial town feel to it. there are some bars and discos but when i went out there didn't seem to be alot of people in the clubs (bit it was during the week). i would make sure you have some good contacts (back ups to your primary) as if you are there by yourself it is likely going to be boring and frustrating. there is a nice 5 star hotel in town called the victoria that has a disco in it that is suppose to the best in town (probably could find some semi pros there) but i think it is only open on the weekends. the rooms ran something like 200 usd a night if i remember correctly. it is on the outskirts of town by their sports stadium that has events from time to time. so if you are spending three weeks there you might be able to catch a concert, sporting event though probably more local fare. the staff speaks english at the hotel though so if all falls through or you don't like your apartment you have a place that you can go to and enjoy yourself a bit. they have bowling downstairs, sushi and all the other things that the guys say the ukrainian girls seem to like. as well as the disco. there is a nice little shopping mall in town if you want to do a little shopping with you friend and some decent restaurants in town as well. the mall is nice to check out some of the local eye candy in the area as well. i went to a british pub that they have there in donetsk (can't remember the name), pretty cool underground pub and they had some live music and a really hot dj chick spinning some tunes later on. it was a week day so there weren't that many people around but i could see it getting fun on the weekend.
if your girl is from outside of donetsk in one of the "smaller" surrounding cities. they all feel small but are usually pretty large in reality. i am sure that she will have a good time. donetsk has some stuff to see but once you move outside of donetsk the quality of housing, nightlife, etc really drops off to nothing. like no hot water in most of the apartments, one little bar in town, rather bleak and depressing russian style apartment housing. so, if she is from a village it is going to be like taking her to paris. especially if you take her to kiev later. though some of the girls feel a little overwhelmed in the bigger city as many live rather basic lives with their family. there are some girls out there that have spent some time working in dubai rep001tered around the area as well. so there are some options but they are going to be hard to find. the women are beautiful, not as many options as kiev of course. and they (most) all speak russian. the russian thing is sort of hard to get away from as it is everywhere and there are fewer foreign language speakers than anywhere i have visited in the world and i have been to around 50 countries.
anyway, have a great trip. there will be some challenges but don't let all the negative guys here get you down. the ukraine girls are very sweet and kind from the ones that i have spent time with. they can be a little stand offish with "outsiders" but if you use a little charm and humor it is easy to break down the barriers. the girls outside of the big cities are a little naive about the world as their lives are pretty basic. so you take them out to a nice restaurant, maybe drop them off at a spa or something nice and they are going to remember you forever. i hope that it all works out with your girl that you are talking to and that you trip turns out as you want. she is probably as apprehensive about you as you are about her.
nice thing about ukraine is that if things don't work out in the donetsk, you can always pack your bags and take a bus, train or flight out of donetsk and be back in kiev the next day. and there are of course hundreds of pages on the things to do there.

I only had about 24 hours notice that I would be going to Lvov, so I did not really have time to set up anything there. Yes you could get the necessities of life without speaking Russian or Ukrainian, but most girls had minimal English, so it was difficult to engage in conversation as a prelude to negotiation.
My hotel was so pathetic that it did not even have lobby girls, although I had seen some sluttily-dressed girls in the bar earlier. However I was not able to approach them at the time, being with a female colleague, and I was not sure if they were pros – they were not looking around or making eye contact. One night I asked the hotel security guy about ordering in, which was certainly possible, but they only had one girl available and it would take about 20 minutes for her to arrive. I think the price was 90 Euros. But it was getting late and I did not like the odds of that one girl being worth waiting for, so I gave it a miss and went to bed loveless in Lvov.
So I never really found the right hunting ground in Lvov, and it would be difficult to pick girls up without Russian or Ukrainian language skills (this is the first place I have been to in Ukraine where Russian is not the dominant language). Not a good place for amateur mongers like me. At least not without a lot more time to discover the right venues or work Mamba better.

So, as written before, I arrived in Donetsk this Saturday. Hi friends, here you have my 2 cents about Donestk. IT is a very strange city, large (about 1 million inhabitants) and rich (many large and big new cars around, and many fashion shops in the centre). Many wonderful women arrive here, but unfortunately ONLY for some personal training and as they have finish they fitness program, they had no time and desire to spend some time in the lobby bar to know some interesting men(. Also the night club is fine, little empty during the week but full of happy young people during week end. I also visited the 2 best night clubs located in the suburb: Chocolade and Fort Knox. Also in these places you can find very beautiful devuska BUT in this places you find only rich young people hence our work is a little hard even if not impossible because the woman-man ratio is generally 2:1. I didn't need River Place because I was with my girl friend but when I send her at home, during the night I had some hard work to find some other entertainment. About places like Chicago, Opera (night clubs in the centre) and some massage parlors, many other friends have already wrote here hence if you are desperate you can practice our sport there at price from 400 to 600 Grivnia.

Not too concerned about p4p as have discovered the FKKs recently and they are by far the best value for money, at least for a guy who can't haggle well.

Sumy is not a place do have much fun.
The place is prety backwatered in old soviet standards it small city (less than 300 000 population) and have only one cinema!
For the fun in the night all is concentrated in the city center. Main street is called Harkovskaya and it has lots of bar and caffes. Just walk along it and you'll find something of interest. The names in this street are:
- Liga Chempionov, has a nice summer garden
- Limon, just next to upper one
- Slavyanski, beer bar accros the upper one
- Domino
Then on Shevchenko prospekt three destinations:
- club Martini
- Prospekt
- Flesh
On Krasnaya Ploschad there's a some kind of shopping mall called "Teatralnaya" and there is bar "Kapriz" this is for non smokers only. At the same place there's also a cake shop/bar called "Spokusa". Plenty of childeren there but they are accompanied by their moms (usually single) and much older sisters making it good hunting ground if you into it.
The only night club in Sumy is bar dicso "Grand" located in Frunze street no.1.

I guess Summy can keep you occupied for 2-3 days and then head for Kiev of course.

This is not true, there are many clubs in Sumy, I've spent about two weeks there on several trips, and there are at least 4-5 decent clubs. On the main pedestrian street there is El Dorado, which is a pretty decent club although young in age. Also there are San Remo and Alexandria. There are 2-3 others I've been to that I forget the name of. All of those are dance clubs, with dance floors, bars, open til 6am, etc.
The hotel I would recommend is Ukraina, and unlike what Kurenda says I don't think there is a club there, only a restaurant on the first floor (maybe they have dancing, I don't know).
There's a theater, regional museum, etc. as in any provincial capital, but as Kurenda says there isn't much to see.
A charming town on the way back to Kiev from Sumy is Romny, population 50,000 but with a very beautiful old downtown situated on a bluff overlooking the road the Kiev. The place is ridiculously cheap, as of 2009 half-lux hotel rooms were $12.
Been to Vinnytsia a few times and its not an easy city IMHO. Once got a hotel (forget name) security guard to line something up, 7 looks/5 attitude rated but only €50, so WTF.
Since then, nada! I'm going bak at the end of May, I too would appreciate any insights into the local scene.

Not much to report but just giving back to the forum and adding to info on Sumy.
Just arrived back and have to agree with what Latexian says about 8 posts earlier.
There were a few clubs near resurrection church/the main walking area but I got too drunk after an early evening world cup match and passed out on my bed in hotel ukraina before I managed to get to see any. No foyer action in hotel ukraina although would be real easy to bring a girl back without anyone noticing.
Kept an eye out for street walkers but didn't see any. Drove from borysil airport to sumy and back and didn't see any truck stops or action for truckers either.
The women in Sumy were fairly typical of women from your own provinces I guess, 80's style fringes and probably not the sexiest lingerie either.
Don't think I will ever go back as 3 days is enough and its fairly poor talent wise.

Know exactly what you're talking about. Met the DJ on the train out to the provinces, and he invited me to the exclusive klub on Saturday night for his show. Long drive out to the suburbs at midnight. Only the richest young people were in there, so my plan to waltz in and waltz out with some little spinner/sponsorette didn't go according to plan, because probably every girl that was in the place already had more money than I did.
These were the girls that party every night until 10 in the morning, and then sleep until 6PM.
All the guys in the klub were under 30 also, if I hadn't been invited by the DJ, they wouldn't have let me in. You'd have to be an oligarch to score in there.
Lots of hot stuff, I got none. I might have been able to scratch up some interest, if I was offering $400 or $500 to one of the go go dancers, and to wait until 5 AM when their shift was done, but that's just too rich for my blood, and I have no energy left at 5AM anyway.
So disappointed, I slunk off into the night, resigned to my lower station in Ukraine society to find willing poor white trash sponsorettes in the $120 to $160 range, but I love them much better than the flash & champanski crowd anyway. Having spent a long weekend there, I can confirm that beyond hanging out at the local pizza parlour, there's sod all to do. Girl-wise I mean.
The botanical park they have there is lovely though, and you'll find plenty of lovely girls walking around in very little in summer time. They'll usually be with their boyfriends or their family so not the best hunting ground.

2 years ago I was at the closing party; not so exciting, because it was end of August, which means, end of holidays for students.So it was not so busy, and a bit chilly already.
So I decided last year, to attend the opening party. And I did.

if you visit Yalta, you will not miss this guy who badly plays the guitar and sings English Pop. His name is Ronen. He pretends to be an American from Miami, but he is Israeli. This guy is nothing but trouble. He is chasing young girls, as young as 15, and can get you in real trouble if you are seen with him. He also chases mothers walking with their children, and their husbands would often make a big scene.
The guy is quiet charming, in his mid 40s although he claims to be 35. I befriended him and got into trouble. I do not want to reveal the details, but you can get the message.

I am sorry if I keep posting negative comments about Yalta, but it is the reality. Unfortunately, I have to come to this town every year because I made the mistake of buying an apartment in 2002, when it was the golden age, long gone with no hope of return.
So I have to maintain this apartment on a yearly basis. And every year it gets worth in Yalta. The crowd are more and more hostile towards westerners (may be it is the Yanukovich effect, this region is anti-Europe) and the girls run away from western men like they are carrying the cholera disease.
I have seen scores of gorgeous, model-type, young men, from Italy and Spain and France, get slammed by these Ukrainian and Russian girls. They would not even give them a chance to talk to them.
Now, you rarely see a foreigner in town. Even the Turks and Arabs stopped coming.
Listen up fellow cheap mongers! I want to tell you about a place that has yet to be mentioned on ISG.
There's a little town in Lviv Oblast called Truskavets about two hours by bus south of Lviv. There are direct trains and buses from Kiev as well. The town is famous for it's mineral waters, which are served out of two "buvets" -- big buildings with free water faucets, you just have to bring a cup. The town is a real Soviet resort location, with not much to do besides sit in a cafe or walk around in the parks (it's actually a very pretty location, in the foothills of the Carpathians).
There are over 80 (yes, eighty) hotels, sanitoria, and smaller villas, many of them with Western standard rooms at cheap prices ($30-$50 a night). Although some of them are also quite expensive ($200+). You can easily find these by searching for Truskavets hotels online. You can also get apartments for under $20 a day, see here (http://www.truskavets24.com.ua/).
I'm sure that the various sanitoria and saunas have girls on call, but that's not why I'm writing this report. There is a single big club in the city, called Millenium, it's in one of those standard post-Soviet entertainment complexes that holds bowling alley, a pool hall, a movie theater, cafe, restaurant, etc.
Inside the club (20 hrivnya cover) there is a strip club (another 60 hrivnya). I went just to enjoy some titties (always a good time, especially considering how cheap it is here). It turns out, the place is basically a meat market. Once a few guys show up, all of the girls come out at once topless and sit down. You can then chat them up, buy them a drink if you like (only around $5) and they are basically all available to take home for 500 hrivnya for one hour (about $60). All night is 3000 hrivnya, which isn't a good deal at all, so I recommend just one or two hours.
While that's not cheaper than elsewhere in the provinces, it is one of the few places where you can actually check out a girl before taking her home, to judge her attitude and how you get along with her. Kind of like a mini River Palace with fewer girls but much lower prices. In fact I was wondering why the girls barely spent any time stripping (I had come just for a good strip show) and after asking one she basically said no guys come here just to watch, and they usually only stay a few minutes so they can pick out a girl.
Much better than the call services that bring girls you have yet to see and you don't know what you'll wind up with. Short lap dances are only 20 grivnya. The club opens at 10pm so when I got there for the first hour I was the only guy, and if you came then you would have the pick of the litter.
When I was there there were seven girls and just three guys. The girls ranged from 6 to 9 in looks, and trust me when I say I know what I'm talking about since I've lived in the Russian provinces for six months and Moscow for a few years. Two of the girls were genuine 9's, and most of the rest were 7's and 8's. It was on par if not slightly better than the quality of girls at say, 911 in Moscow. That surprised me, as I've found girls in Western Ukraine to be much more homely (both naturally and in terms of dress) than their Eastern Ukrainian or Russian sisters. But after talking to the girls, most of them are from Eastern Ukraine and come during the summer to make some money. Another plus since they spoke Russian and not Ukrainian like the locals.
The town is very tourist friendly. It's basically a Soviet-style resort out in the woods (and people come thinking mineral water will cure diabetes), so it's mostly older couples and from what I can tell very few Western foreigners. The clubs probably aren't that great, although being able to the one major club (Millenium) and hitting on babes (which I did see) looking for freebies, while always having a backup plan in the next room over in case you fail, is a great setup. Add in that you can easily get a room in a villa within short walking distance to the club and it's a killer combination.
The tourist infrastructure is quite good, and I think a monger who doesn't have any Ukrainian would actually do okay here (unlike nearly all other small Ukrainian cities). And since it's dirt cheap (I'd guess half the price of Kiev), you can have a good time with hotel, a girl a day, and some time in cafes/restaurants/etc. for probably about $100-$150 a day if you are pinching pennies, or $150-$200 a day if you aren't so careful. Of course the sky is the limit if you stay in the better hotels and eat only in the nice restaurants.
There's hardly anything to do or see (although Lviv is close) so I think after a couple days it would get boring, unless you are a fan of mudbaths, mineral waters, and massages.
A very good deal all around, and I think it might make an interesting destination for mongers that find Kiev too expensive, Odessa full of money *****s, and who don't feel ready to just go off to some random industrial Ukrainian town. I would definitely recommend Truskavets as an interesting alternative for a couple days.

I wasn't successful, so I don't have any great info for you, other than to say that it seems a lot tougher to meet girls than in Kiev.
If you want to get girls from a strip club, I suggest trying Misto's, but it is some distance out of the city centre. There are a number of other discos and bars in the same complex, but they seemed to be full of local girls dating local boys. Difficult turf for a foreigner, depending on your game.
I did not find a bar where girls go to meet westerners, which is the Nirvana for lazy mongers like me.
Your best bet may be setting up Mamba dates, although even there the pickings seem kind of slim.

Uman is the most wonderful place on earth. Everyone should go there. Non-mongers, mongers, doesn't make any difference. All people of every race, religion, creed, and disability, should go there. And all people there, of every diversity imaginable, are the very best in all the world, including leaders and influential intellectuals, especially Madonna, who is the purest kindest virgin angel.
So I was in Sumy for 3 nights visiting my girlfriend there. I had a great time at a new club called 7th Sky. It is located there near a Hotel called Shafran. The music was very good and I would say the ration of men/women was 1:3 or even 1:4.
I can imaging if I would have been alone there that I could have got aquainted with some of the ladies there. I saw several 8 and 9 girls. Every time my girlfriend went to the ladies room some of the girls would smile at me or ask me something in Russian which I don't understand.
I am not saying go to Sumy, it is the greatest place, but if you should go to Sumy, I would say 7th Sky is the place to go to find some of Sumy's finest girls.

On my way back from kazantip I had a stop-over in Yalta end of last week. And I was disappointed, too. Being in Yalta first time 1997, and during the previous 4 years, the quality of girls is going down year over year. Now it was really disgusting. Looks more like a family resort now. Don't forget that, I've been merciless in some of my biting criticisms, where they've been warranted, (and a few times when they weren't and I was just being obtuse).
So after dishing it out, I'd look like a real pussy if I couldn't handle a little taste of my own medicine, though its pretty weird that after 10 years of posting, now I can never post again without being forced to wait around until tomorrow for the ISG censor to approve my content, to make sure he doesn't need to delete the Bad Bez, since the Good Bez is gone forever.
Lesson learned, nothing ever stays the same.
