I thought I'd share some observations on the street girl situation in Reading. Some of the information has been covered here, but does bare repeating.
1) The main street girl area is along the Oxford Road from about Prospect Street past Reading West train station and MacDonalds to about Connaught Road with Salisbury and Curzon getting a mention too. You can see a map of the area by going to a street map at this URL: http://*******.com/3vdp8
The junction with Russell Road and Baker Street should also be mentioned. There seems to be some activity here early in the evening.
Also, further on down the road towards the Battle Hospital has the occasional girl.
2) Oxford Road is a pretty safe place to go. It has many eateries and drinkeries, grocers and furniture shops, so you can always have a reason for being there. (Unlike St Pauls in Bristol which has a reputation for being a rough area and has nothing much to go there for). There is easy parking in the car park that is shared with Lidl and McDs. Park up, have a coffee and have a look around.
3) There are security cameras in the area. This should not be a problem, and it never has been for me or anyone I know who frequents the area. Just don't be an idiot.

I recently spent some days in Reading and I wanted to share my experience. I did a bit of research on the Web but there is not much to find. I believe that any report related to UK should emphasise the enormous danger one exposes himself to when going for SWs. I believe that any report related to UK should emphasise the enormous danger one exposes himself to when going for SWs. In the days when picking up SWs was not heavily prosecuted it wasn't a big problem. Now one has to be exceedingly careful if picking up a SW. Fortunately there is a big database of escorts on the Adultwork site (though you also have to be wary of rip-offs. It's an open database, like google almost, so caveat emptor). This has driven up prices inasmuch as you used to be able to get a quickie with a SW for £20 whereas now you often have to pay more or else get an escort (starting at about £40, though £70 is a more common starting price).

This reading forum seems to be dead since years. Making it alive again.
I will be visiting Reading for a couple of weeks on Business trip. Are there any good places / pubs around where I can get some good hook ups for some good time and one night stands? No regular commercial SW, but regular girls who are willing to get down.

Any action here?In 20-25 minutes you can reach central London by train and they run almost till 3 am. So no use choosing to monger here.
However, if you want MPs. I would recommend Maidenhead (15 miles or so) where you would fine MPs run by Thai / Philippines with 2-3 girls. Offering all services. Prices and services (start at 25 GBP) are much better compared to London.
Girls there are normally aged (in their upper 30's).
I'm visiting a friend in Reading this winter and I'm interested if there is anything noteworthy in the city mongering-wise? Is London still the better option? Are there any local establishments that we could visit?

Actually saw a lady on a corner of Oxford Road on a Friday, approaching midnight. Not far from Lidl. Was a few pints down and hadn't been near any performance enhancers, so didn't feel partaking was in my interest, but still, nice to know the option may be there.
