I`m looking for a girl-friendly hotel without extra charge.

I read something about "Sportsman"

What is Sportsman?

A ST hotel ,apartment or a guest house ,with or without swimming pool?

There is no girl-friendly hotel without extra charge in Banjul, especially in Serrekunda district. Except "Sportsman". Well, "Sportsman" could be called a kind of a hotel, combined with a bar where you can also buy some kind of food, too. It's not a ST (short term) hotel. Well, maybe calling "guest house" will be more proper here. You can stay at your room all day long. As long as I remember during my visit there, I didn't notice any swimming pool. But best of all you can bring to your room as many girls as you wish. No body requires any "joiner fee" at "Sportsman". Find phone number to "Sportsman" in previous posts and try to make a clear aggreement with "Sportsman". It is possible that things have been changed since my visit there.

Enjoy the Gambia.

Regards.

I found no girlfriendly hotel; you have to book a double.
Private is hardly to find; i mean an accepteble room.
Try the road from the beach to the clinic. Invest a few bucks
in a taxidriver; it should help. BUT; a good apartment (water+electricity
running) is not cheap

The Sportsman will be re-opening on Friday this week under new management, and I doubt if it will be the same as before when it was run by Derek. I believe that an English couple are taking over. The telephone numbers I posted here for Derek are no longer valid for the Sportsman.

It looks like that the Baobab Holiday Resort is in Bijilo and not in Kololi.

But I don't know how far away is it from Kololi.

The webside from the Baobab is www.baobab.gm

Rannug,

2000 dalasi for the room or for the girl?

It is well known by expats that the Gambian people are a race of liars and cheats and thieves. There are of course a good number of Gambians who are good and trustworthy, but the temptation of these very poor people to steal is often too great for them to resist. I have had 3 experiences this last week which I feel I ought to report on various forums to warn others of a trend which is becoming more apparent. When I've paid for my drinks or meals I've been left waiting for ages for my change. Now in The Gambia change isn't easy to come by and I know that the bars and restaurants have difficulty finding change. However, on the three occasions this week, the change simply wasn't forthcoming and the waiter/waitress has disappeared into the back somewhere, presumably pocketing the money and hoping I would simply get up and leave thinking that the change was insignificant. The change is insignificant and I would generally have given it as a tip, but when I am not given that option I get annoyed. Last night after waiting for 10 minutes, I went to the back of the restaurant, found the waitress who was near the cashier and asked her how much I gave her. Embarrassed, she looked at the cashier, who said sorry, he forgot, then pulled MY 30 dalasis from his pocket. I then decided that I would warn others not to let them get away with this malpractice and name and shame the establishments.

The places that have tried to "rip me off" are

Yasmina's
Jewel of India
Latitude Bistro

All these places are on Senegambia strip.

Thanks, Fournicenight, for alerting us to the likely places in The Gambia where we might have an entire US dollar stolen from us. Are you by any chance related to McGruff the crime dog?

Donnyfurri,

I see from your profile that you joined 9 months ago and this is your first post. What a superb contribution you have made. I'm sure all other BMs will be waiting with baited breath for your next post. I tried to send you a PM but you aren't accepting them. Perhaps as well because what I was going to say to you would have been nearly as rude as your post.

Having been to more than a dozen countries in Africa, i have to agree that The Gambia and especially Senegambia is the worst rip off place i have ever been to... And i am not talking about waiters trying to get some extra's of you... Watch your pockets when you are in a room with a girl and if you are travelling alone be prepared to get some serious hassle and bullshit from a lot of people....

big problems in Kotu-area.

A lot of prostitutes from Guinee-Conacry are working in this area (e. G. Amsterdam dolphins bar restaurant). There are amongst them alcoholic, trying to rip-off customers, never-ever go to a girl's house without exact knowing the price) They use to say: it's up to you, but afterwards they make big, big, big trouble and ask 50 euro for a short-time fuck. Police always say, it's normal price so you have to pay. There are a lot of stories like this so be cautious, I warn you all.

Near Amsterdam Dolphins bar. Restaurant in the Kotu-area there are a lot of prostitutes from guinee-conacry. Do not ever go with one of them. They will ripp you off. During ' negotiations' they do not tell the price, they say: it's up to you. But afterwards they claim 50 euro as a normal price for a 1 hour fuck. Police will come and say: yes, 50euro is 'notting', is normal price, you will have to pay. Very difficult situations, I warn you all!

PS: most of them are alcoholics

Thanks Fournicenight for alerting us!! Wow, "lost" change is definitely going to put a large dent in my budget and stop me from mongering in Africa!!! By the way, what's happened to the practice of tipping? Not common in Gambia? Perhaps that's why the waitresses disappear with your coins which of course you need to get back to your hotel to continue exploiting the Gambian women!!

Tipping is not common in many countries. I do not know about The Gambia. But a dollar worth of tip for a drink or food would be a lot in many African countries. I am normally accused of spending too much. But the staffs behaviour was definetely not right in an African context. If staff is like this often providers are like this. And I have not heard many good things about The Gambia

I wrote about tipping in my previous posts, too. (Post #207).

Let me summarize here: I was in The Gambia in February 2007 and I would not say, that Gambian waiters/waitresses (and generally people in Gambia) were polite. On the contrary, most of Gambians were unpolite and rude.

After a couple of days in The Gambia I just quitted to tip to the waiters/waitresses in Gambia, because they don't say 'thanks', but just a single 'OKAY', when you tip for instance 20 Dalasis. (Remember, that a daily salary for people in Gambia is around 120 Dalasis -officially-. And remember most of Gambian people don't even get the minimum salary, either. For 20 Dalasis people in Gambia work at least in 2 hours -of course if people get offically salary-. But it even doesn't take 2 minutes to bring what I'm going to eat in a restaurant).

The matter is not some amount of fucking money. The matter is what kind of behavouir you get, even you tip the Gambian waiters/waitresses.

Dear Kim,

I live in Sweden ...I know quite a lot about Gambians and their country and of course there are educated ,polite and nice people, but those are very exceptional...I only met a couple all these years.
I have to add to the fact that I even had a gambian girlfriend and was a regular visit to her in laws and sisters and nieces etc etc.
To make the story short I have never seen so materialistic people in my life!
Let me just tell you this funny incident...when I was at her in laws I heard a word that just sounded like: ALICE and this word were constantly repeated by their mouths, but after having heard this word at least a hundred times in that a week I took the freedom to ask : Who the hell is Alice? She must be the most popular girl in this community ? Well, poor me ! Everybody burst out laughing, and my girlfriend most of all : Oh darling ! Aliss is money ! In our language the wolloff ! No need to tell you how stupid I felt ,but that also proved my point !
Yesterday I was helping a former employer here in Gothenburg he is the owner of 3 taxi companies and he is originally from Ghana ...when I told him this story the guy was laughing for over 3 minutes!
He said Gabe : You are the only one that can make me really laugh! But he said, damn it man! That really applies to those Gambian women! They are the most greedy and materialistic beings that carry black skin! The only ones that can beat them are the Nigerians ...for those are megalomanous!
Well, gentleman, now you have an opinion of an european like me that have worked mostly all West Africa from Senegal to Congo (Nigeria included) and the opinion of an African that has been dealing with Africans all his life both in leisure time and professionally.
Well Kim, I don´t even want to tell all kind of scams and lies my girlfriend put me through all those years including what I believe to have been a faked pregnancy! I suspect she did it to extort some money from me since I asked her sincerely to keep the child! Now I realize there was never any child and even her sister confessed she was a fraud! She was meeting me and having an affair with a 70 year old swede catering to her materialistic needs but the guy died on her, maybe too much VIAGRA!After she found another geriatric case and married him and I heard she was collecting some inheritance a pent house or a villa...this one had died on her too!
But in the meantime she was screwing with me ... she always said that sex with me saved her day here in Sweden! But I am not so sure of that actually ...she probably was faking that too! Maybe she wanted to have me stand by... as sort of plan B for an eventual residence permit here in Sweden!
However I did not know all this until I found out through her niece and my own private investigation!
Can you believe this! She was a top performer a real born actress and she was like many of them almost iliterate! She could hardly read or write...can you imagine her with some more education?
Anyway the only good thing about her was that in bed she was very compatible, as we say a hell of a good screw ! Nice body ,fantastic skin and sexually very desirable, but I have had much better in Africa especially girls and women from Angola or even Cape Verde.
I could tell you infinite stories about Africa and African women, but I just hope this may help to cast some light into what to expect when dealing with many of the subjects of The Gambia and maybe even Nigeria.
Be on your watch and do what I heard from an American officer working with me in the (oil) offshore business: When in Africa with the black ladies ...leave your heart... and credit card at home... before you go!

Greetings from

Gab

Gabrielsilva:

great report! What you wrote is very much true, but IMHO not only in The Gambia! In other African or Asian countries it is also very, very similar. And because of that all of us are just simple mongerers who should leave feelings, love and future plans somewhere else, but definitely not with these girls! Just play and pay, that's ok! Or am I wrong? :)

I have never been to Africa and would not normally post here, but I am making an exception. I just can't believe the attitudes I am seeing here. Fourniceight writes a post to warn fellow mongers about a scam that is going, and the only responses he gets are to tell him he is a cheapskate to be bothered by this? What the heck? Have those of you who spend time in The Gambia just gotten so used to corruption that you have stopped being bothered by it, or do you come from countries where petty theft is considered OK, or what? I currently live in Angeles City, Philippines, and if this practice became widespread in a bar or restaurant here, I guarantee you that the expats and tourists alike would raise hell about it. It is not the money nearly as much as it is the principle that would bother most of us.

I have just returnd from the Gambia and thought I would post my thoughts and experiences. I do not think there any truly girl-friendly hotels in as much as they allow girls to spend the night with you at no extra charge. The extra fee for female company was 500 Dalasi at Sarge's in Senegambia and 600 Dalasi at African Village in Bakau. This is £11. 60 and £14 respectively. The alternative of going back to girl's compound (accommodation) which will not have running water and probably a mattress on the floor rather than a bed, is being uncomfortable and saving a paltry sum of money.

The girls come from all over West Africa and not just from the Gambia. Generally girls from Siera Leone are likely to smoke and drink copiously. This also applies to girls from Liberia and Nigeria whereas the local girls rarely smoke and rarely want anything other than a soft drink.

The vast majority of these women have undergone Female Genital Mutilation as children and I did not see a single clitoris during a 2 week trip. This does not stop them from being enthusiastic in bed.

The girls from Sierra Leone seem generally 'wilder' and if you want to hear someone say 'Do you want to vaginate my arse? ' in a thick West african accent, these may be for you but I have simpler needs.

Overall a very good experience. It is nice to get away from cold, wet Northern Europe to sunny, hot Africa.

Guys,

Why do you go to the gambia in the first place?

Sierra Leone has the better beaches, the nicer girls and the tastier seafood.

Besides, you won't have a "is this hotel girlfriendly" discussion.

Sure you could get arreted for paying for sex...if you're a real dumbass, though I assume most users of this forum wouldn't make a transaction in front of the police.

Email: bensoudaj@hotmail.co.uk
I know that the Bensouda family own the building. Two years ago they rented it to an English couple who let the apartments out and had a nice restaurant there, but they couldn't make it pay and moved away. I think the Bensoudas are now running it themselves. I believe it's not girl friendly though. Better would be Dandimayo which I think you know. They were charging 1,000 dalasi per night plus 250 if you took a girl back. That was January this year and I think included breakfast. Dandimayo is also a bit nicer inside than Seabreeze.

Thanks; these e-mail i got also; hadn´t worked. Now i got one, but i will call
them for information if the other will be not well.
Also the Dandimayo e-mail didn´t work. Surprised; for more than 4 weeks i
expect a monthly/fix rate.
I will have a look; and hope to make the right choise.
In 2006; i was so angry about my acommodation; this time, if i will have the
same expirience, i will move after one night.

Thx and cheers; are you living in Pattaya ?

I have posted this elsewhere, hope it is ok to paste it in here as well, as I do not want to type it out all again. Just looking for opinions. Okay guys, I have only been to Gambia and that was over 5 years ago now. I planning a week away after the new year and many people recommend Kenya over Gambia.

Is this mainly because now gambia Dalasi is very strong and girls are more expensive?

This is my take on things, if going for longer than a week it would appear Kenya would win out. But for one week in Gambia the airfare is at least about 100 pound cheaper and flying time 3 hours less. Girls appear to be more expensive but 500d is the most I will pay, and from my experience of Asia you will always get girls that ask for more, but many will settle for that if not you will easily find one that will. Okay girls in Kenya about half that price, but over seven days would not make much difference I guess.

Advantage Kenya has more girl friendly hotels, but the Liverpool arms in Gambia would meet my requirement for my stay and price is okay.

The rest is all the same beer a little over one pound amybe alitle more expensive but not much. A beach is a beach so does not matter to me can chill out with book and a beer and sun bath.

I like to smoke on holiday and Gambia easy to get some green, but be discrete anyway, same would apply to Kenya but I have smoked before in Gambia without any problems. Both police are corrupt but more of a problem in kneya.

Hotel I have looked at same price and adequate.

Just want opinions.

I reckon for one weeks holiday Gambia is the easier option but for longer I would say Kenya, as they have more variety and cheaper girls, but for a week gambia has more than enough to keep you occupied.

What are the thoughts from you guys that have done both.

I will certainly be doing both, it just be dependent on how long I go away for which I would choose.

heads up for fellow shaggers…
the first two pictures are of fatou, from senegal. she usually hangs out in senegambia around the area behind yasmina and in the casino behind yasmina. i sometimes see her in the same area during the day having coffee with the pimp she is supporting. i saw her for the first time in the casino one night after about ten jelbrews and i had to have it. we agreed to a certain amount for all night. i think it was something like d800. i shagged it one time that night and then again the next morning. when i was hitting it in the morning she suggested we do some doggie. peterman likes doggie style so i had her roll over and get up on her hands and knees. because i was a bit drunk and because it was dark the night before when we got undressed this was the first time i had a good chance to see her tits out of the too small push-up bra. it was now obvious that she had a kid back in senegal she was supporting (the women here will nurse their kids for two years with the resulting damage it can do). when she was on her hands and knees her tits almost hung down to touch the bed! i had a go of it anyway. her tits were making so much noise slapping together while i was banging her from the tail-gunner position that i was starting to lose my hard-on! for real! i had to stop and have her put the bra back on to control the noise so that i would be able to drop the morning bomb load! i managed to get the job done. right on target! we showered and got dressed. i call a taxi driver that i know to come and get her. he is on his way so i go to give her the agreed on d800 and then she said it was going to be d2000. that wasn’t going to happen! after a lot of arguing back and forth my taxi driver shows up. i told her that i didn’t have any more money that i would have to hit the bank machine in senegambia. she took the d800 as a down payment. the reality was, i was going to take her back to senegambia and kick her ass out of the taxi. we get to senegambia and she wouldn’t get out of the taxi. i decide to get out of the taxi and be rid of that bit**, but before i jump out she grabs me $400 samsung d880. i had a hell-of-a-time prying it out of her hand. i give the driver d100 and tell him to take her anywhere she wants to go. big mistake! i got out of the taxi and walked up to the highway and caught another taxi home. as i got close to the compound where i live i see a taxi parked out front. as i got closer i see fatou in the back of the taxi with my trusted driver at the wheel. the bit** and my trusted taxi driver had beat me back to my comfound! i am starting to get really hot by now. she starts to make a stink in front of my compound with the locals walking by taking notice. i couldn’t let this happen. at one point i say to her, “do you want me to take you to the tourist police?” to which she replies, “go ahead”. i was hoping that because she was from senegal that that would scare her and she would just go away. i didn’t work so i jump in the taxi and order the driver to go to the senegambia police station. we get there and i ask to see a tourist policeman. the three of us sit down in the back office and she tells him her side of the story (in the local language, of course) and i tell him mine. after about 45 minutes i could see it was clear that i was not going to win this one. the tourist policeman was on the side of his sister. finally in frustration i reach in my pocket and pull out everything i had (about d250) and tell them to take it or leave it. the tourist policeman talks to her in the local language. she begrudgingly accepts. i guess i got off cheap. i have heard stories where similar things have happened and it cost the guy two to three thousand and even a short stay in jail!
the second set of pictures is sal (nudes, by-the-way). i believe she is around 19 and gambian. she is an excellent shag and has the firmest tits i have ever had the pleasure to squeeze! over about a year and a half i think i have shagged her six or seven times. the first three or four times it didn’t cost anything. the last time i shagged her i think i gave her d400 to d500 (she is learning very quickly by her association with tourist). that is all well and good but i made the mistake of giving her my phone number whereas she keep calling me and building this elaborate bullshit story how someone impersonated her and took d20, 000 out of her bank account (if this story was for real how do you think she accumulate d20, 000 when the going monthly wage is around d1,300/mo?). i could see where this was going. peterman stopped answering the phone. it didn’t stop her from sending text messages. one of the last ones she sent said something like, “if you do not answer your phone i am going to see the police about you”, bla, bla, bla… have not seen or heard from her since. thank god! no matter how great a shag it was, peterman won’t be going there again!
heads-up on another scam i heard about. a friend (a brit that has relocated to gambia) of mine picked up a girl in a quiet off senegambia bar. he said she was 18 (not sure if he checked her id or not). she tries to convince him to take her to her place. he got a bad feeling about that but with the little head thinking for the big head he talks her into going down to the beach to fuck in his suv. she makes a few calls (in which she speaks one of the local languages) before they finish their drinks (i’m guessing he needed to kill some time for the vit-v to kick in) and leave the bar. they almost get to the beach and this cop jumps out of the bushes and stops them. the cop is convinced she is ****d. to make a long story short, it cost him d2, 000 and one wasted vit-v. i sure would like to know what the cut was between the cop and the girl!
i understand that the current ‘take’ on the age of consent in gambia is 18. but, if she is over 18 (19, 20, 21…) and still attending secondary school, she is jail bait-keep your hands off!!!
just a thought - for the guy that is looking for a good, clean, reasonable priced, girl-friendly place to stay, why don’t you stay at john crocodile’s guest house? it is in the same area as the bamboo garden. i think there are about 12 rooms at the compound. i stayed there for about four months one time. never did i have any problems. about a year ago john sold his compound to allen. allen has the same management philosophy as john had (still girl friendly). send a pm for the number. by the way, john croc is still around-just retired.

One other thing that I wanted to add…

I have been told SLOK, the airline of the Gambia has ceased to operate (bankruptcy) and Air Senegal frequently cancels a lot of their flights to and from Banjul. So, if to get to the Gambia you have to come and go through Dakar (like I do) because of where you live you will need to get ground transport. It can be a real Goat-Fuck! I have got to know a reliable taxi driver that takes me from the Gambia to the airport and picks me up at the airport when I return. It will usually cost me around $225 o/w. There are several alternate ways to do it that are much cheaper. It will involve a walk on ferry ride (Ferry ride = D5) across the river. Be EXTREMELY careful! There are dozens of pick pockets on the ferry, in the crowd to get on and off the ferry and in the ‘terminal’. I knew this and I was watching. About six months ago before I met my taxi driver I was returning to the Gambia and had a wireless mouse taken from a pocket on my backpack. I have been all over the world and this is the only time I have been pick pocketed! One time while dropping a friend off at the ferry I caught a guy with his hand in my pocket (he didn’t get my money that was in that pocket). I know two friends that were traveling across the ferry that had their purses cut with a razor and had their cell phones removed.

When the ferry shuts down at night all the pick pockets must go to WaaW. That is only other time I ever had a problem with them in the Gambia. While trying to get up the crowded stairs to get into WaaW late one night I felt many hands on my pockets feeling for money. My buddy who was with me lost D2, 000 and he is a retired cop! I had a friend lose his cell phone while in WaaW late one night. The dumb shit was drunk and was wearing it on his belt!

After saying all of the above, I would not hesitate to go anywhere, alone, late at night in the Gambia.

Gambia can be fun-always keep your eyes open.

Nice informative report that you posted. Although these scams are a bit worrying. I just was planning on a having a relaxing beach holiday a few beers, a nice bit of weed to smoke in my rooom, and a girl every day. Do not really care about long time, but have a good session maybe a good couple of hours of banging a nice African chick, paying 500 and carrying on with my realxing.

I have a few questions, as I have set limits and budget, even though I can spend more I am a seasoned traveler and usualy stick to my guns as it allows me to visit more places and have more holidays throuhout the year.

Will 500 be enough to pay the girls, as I know they will want more but 500 is still good money in the gambia and I reallly do not want to pay more. I would make sure the girl understood this before agreeing!

Also what is the current prices of a beer, in dalsi please?

And what is the cost of that guesthouse you mention crocidille and can you pm me number or e mail for it please.

Exhcange rates for the pound are shit so I need to get my costings right, the dolar is going to go up a lot soon, put the pound will probaly tank so it will be very helpful if you put costings in dalsii, thank you

Good report you did please if you can reassure that not all the girls are scammmers, and that most will just except the agrred amount and leave it at that.

Thanks mate and I hope you will be able to answer some of my questions.

Brian723... Croc John's is in Fajara, and while Fajara is a holiday resort, the accomodation is quite a way from the beach. So if you want a beach holiday, as you state, I would stay around the Senegambia/Kololi/Kotu area. Liverpool Arms is good but I think that Dandimayo would prove best for your activities although a bit more expensive.
You have to really be careful with the P4P girls. Make sure you 100% agree on what's required and expected before taking a girl. They can get real nasty. Also make sure everything is bolted down in your room. They will pinch anything. Aftershave is a favourite.
I think Peterman will confirm the price of Julbrew which I advised on another forum.
Peterman...You are accurate in your posts. I know that it's not easy, or comfortable, to get from the airport in Dakar to Gambia by road, and $225 one way is too much and about the cost of the airfare. I think I would rather have a night in a hotel than endure a six hour plus car journey driven by what are some of the worst drivers I have experienced (and I live in Thailand). On top of that it's uncertain how long you'll have to wait for the ferry at Barra. I have driven from Gambia to Dakar both ways and I wouldn't do it again. Surely it's best to fly even if they cancel the flight and you have to wait for the next one. They only fly once daily but with the closure of Slok Air they will be busier and therefore less likely to cancel a flight. Actually, I was unaware that Slok had wound up. Are you sure?

I'm getting ready to check out of the hotel. I'm heading to the U.A.E. and because of the communication blackout there I'm not sure when I'll be able to get back to you. I have not had any experience with a proxy server yet -I'm going to give it a try.

I think you will have to become a member to send or receive a pm.

Jelbrews - as cheap as D18 if you buy it by the case at numberous 'container' outlets and put it in your room refer. Senegambia - D25 to D35 a bottle. Waaw - a bottle will set you back D50 (paying for the entertainment aren't you)! Best deal is a full pint of draft at Amsterdam Dolphin for D40. The food ain't bad there either.

I am not a 100% sure on SLOK. The is what I am being told by my Mate with feet on the ground.

You are correct $225 is a lot of money, but he is a good driver and all I have to do is to sit back and try to relax. And yes, I have had to wait up to two and a half hours to get on the ferry in the taxi. Walk on is no wait.

I like to smoke on holiday and Gambia easy to get some green, but be discrete anyway, same would apply to Kenya but I have smoked before in Gambia without any problems. Both police are corrupt but more of a problem in kneya.

What are the thoughts from you guys that have done both. Please do not take his advice lightly - I speak from experience == that anyone trying to sell you green in Gambia or offering a puff is MORE THAN LIKELY selling you a bag of beach sand or, worse, setting you up for an expensive meeting with an undercover cop.

My overall feeling is that Gambians are totally immersed in the tourist ripoff culture. Not so much for the Kenyans. And that's hard for me to say, because I have in all had much more fun in West Africa than East Africa.

Some 15-20 *****s are on the premises, seem to live there, girls from 18yrs old. Rooms seem 300 dalasi with fan. In banjul ferry guesthouse (400D)with girls living and servicing in the hotel.

I was one evening in Serekunda; no traffic lights; a dusty road; like a slum
area. The Greenline Motel; i looked into the entrance area; looked in a
average condition; more fore the locals; but not dirty; maybe for a beer.
It was early; round 8 pm; so i saw no customer in the bar area.
But try it; it was not unsafe.

Normaly i stay in Kololi or the Palma Rima Road near Atlantic Dolphins.

I'm going to Gambia for the first time shortly. This forum has been helpful and a lot of good information here. It's clear to me that finding company in Gambia isn't too hard task to do. I'm not a great fan of totally shaven, or even too much trimmed pussy. Does the majority of Gambian girls shave and is it hard to find an unshaven girl from there.

Thanks

The Gambian girls will probably be unshaven especially if they are just local non pro girls. Girls from Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Senegal will be pros and likely to have shaven fully or partly.

Hi Guys,

This is a great forum and hopefully you will be able to offer me some advice.

I am heading for The Gambia for a week or so in early September. Never been before and shall be staying with relatives in Fajara. Seems that they intend being very hospitible which is great but its going to severely cramp my style in the evenings and at weekends when they are not working. Have told them I am more than happy to amuse myself but they are being insistant. Just as well the daytimes during the week are mine!

Have been a frequent visitor to Pattaya, Thailand so I am not totally green but things do appear to operate very differently in The Gambia. Is there any equivalent to the Freelancer bars? If not can you recommend a decent parlour or other means / location where you can pick up girls during the day? Am not looking for a relationship so professionals or sideliners (who are in full time employment but are looking to supplement their income) are fine but they would have to be available during the daytime / early evening.

Am really hoping you can help otherwise I am going to be like a kid in a sweet shop with no money.

Not easy to find daytime action in Gambia. Try the bars along and just off Kololi Highway. That's the road leading from the Palma Rima hotel going towards Serrekunda i.e. away from the beach going inland. Amsterdam Dolphin is located here so if you ask a taxi driver for Amsterdam Dolphin you will alight at the correct area. 1)Try Relax bar next door, 2)walk across the road and try the small bars in the side streets 3) walk further up the road and there are Guinean bars and there used to be a Liberian bar opposite the Liverpool Arms. Try Time Out located between Palma Rima and Senegambia and try Yasmina's at Senegambia. Failing all that you could try a walk along the beach between Senegambia and Kotu. You will often be accosted by a girl offering massage. Be lucky!

Hi Rooney,
I’ve been away from the forum for some time. I just saw the date of your post. I guess you are already here.
• No Russians here. The only Chinese you will see are gambling in the casinos late at night and they look a bit rough for me.
• You should be able to find several nice places for that amount of money. This is the off-season and all hotels are empty. I had a friend walk into one of the nicer hotels a while back and spoke to the manager. He negotiated a super cheap price for himself. Another friend just stayed at the Sea Breeze a few days back. I didn’t catch the price but he said the rooms were OK and reasonably priced. And, it should be GF.
• Food – Just was by Henry’s the other day and saw a sign, “Closed for the Season”. Too bad. This is where you will get your best Bang-for-the-Buck. Try Amsterdam Dolphin or Bini’s (Just outside Senegambia, across from the new Old School night club). Yasmina’s can be good for a quick lunch and a beer.
• Waaw or Totties is about your best place for hunting. I don’t go to these places too much anymore-I’m getting turned off by the hard core pros and the “Bumsters” wanting to be your friend which ultimately leads to them wanting you to buy them a drank. Also, don’t leave your hotel with any more money than you can afford to loose and keep your cell phone deep in your pocket. These places are full of pickpockets. BUT, sometime you do find a jewel or two.
• Currently, Bini’s is the classist restaurant/bar in the Gambia. I believe the management makes an effort to keep the skanks out until after 10 – 11 pm to give the European Expats a chance to dine in peace. Then I believe they are a bit selectable on the working girls they allow in after that. Several nights a week they have a band playing. The sax guy is the best in the Gambia.
I have to agree with Fourniceight that the Gambia is not really good for day time hunting. But, remember the Gambia is “Africa-for-the-Beginner”.
Keep in mind, this is the off season. Amsterdam is dead in the afternoon (except for a few of the Expat alcoholics). Relax-dead. I walk the beach a lot on the weekends. All the girls that I have been approached by to give me a massage were not quite up to my style (fat). I believe your best bet for day time action is to hit the clubs one night around 12 – 4 am, get your phone full of numbers and then call them for some afternoon action.
Fourniceight – How is Pattaya? I really miss the Bamboo Bunnies.

If you are coming to Gambia and expecting it to be like Pattaya you are in for a very rude awaking. It is NOTHING like Thailand. You need to remember that Gambia is around 90% Muslim. Although, it is a place you can get your “chocolate fixation” satisfied.

Food – One place I forgot, Rosie’s 777. It is off the beaten path a ways behind the Coconut Residence but the food is great for the price. Rosie’s husband does a lot of the cooking. I believe he was a chef in Germany. During the week they have a couple of specials for 100D each and on Friday they have an all-you-can-eat-special for 150D. You can get your pork cravings satisfied at Rosie’s.

I could still change to a same pricelevel hotel which aren't maby that good, but if they are more GF, I would like to change. Does anyone know the policy of the hotels Mansea beach or Cape point?

Also, what are the best places to find girls in Bakau area? If I can't take 'em to my hotel, how much would it cost to find another GF hotel for a night or can I trust that the girl has a place? How much are the possible taxi fares to the girls compound and back? Ofcourse it depends where to, but just to get an idea. Thanks a lot in advence.

Congrats on booking your hol. Sunset Beach hotel is at Kotu and a lovely location for a beach holiday. Unfortunately you are going to have to travel for P4P. No hotels are girl friendly but the security may be persuaded to turn a blind eye for a few dalasis. In my opinion this is just pure hassle and you won't be comfortable. e.g. they will come and knock on your door/window at 5 a.m. saying that the girl must go now. If I were you I would find a small place like the Liverpool Arms and rent a room there to take the girls back to. It's run by a lady called Babs and she'll understand your needs. About 500 dalasis per night I think. You mention Bakau for mongering but although there are places there it's pretty sparse and low class. You should head for Senegambia strip, Kololi Highway (where the Liverpool Arms is) or the area between Palma Rima hotel and the beach. (Churchill's and Bucarabu). Further afield try Jokor's at Westfield, Serrekunda, on a Wednesday night in particular. If you go back to a girl's compound be prepared for a real culture shock. Probably just a mattress on the floor and no running water and probably no power. Most of the girls live in the Kololi/Kotu/Manjai/Kerr Serign areas which are the villages INLAND of the coastal highway. A taxi from say Senegambia to one of the villages would cost 100 to 200 dalasis if late at night. A further 100 dalasis and the driver would probably wait for you while you do the deed.

$225 is way out of line for a taxi from Dakar to Banjul. 40,000CFA = $90 is more like it at the most. You can take the bus. Last I checked (about 2 years ago) it was like 5000CFA ($12) and is a normal bus, like a 10 year old Greyhound. You find the bus near the port, it is sort of between Bar Le Siren (THE place to be in Dakar after 4AM) and where you get the ferry to Goree.

If you have a guest staying with you they need to be registered, then they will be free to move around the complex. If you are going to have visitors they must leave the premises before midnight and they must show their ID card to the security on entry. Visitors may only enter and leave the premises with you and at all time must stay in your presence. Visitor are not permitted to enter rooms unaccompanied or at any time be left in the room. Hi all,

I am rather new here and have only posted two reports, so I already appologize for asking information with such a small contribution to the forum, but this thread is rather dead and I would like to know more about Banjul.

I promise to give you a full report when I come back to reward you!

I am indeed going to Gambia in June for my company and will be staying in a nice hotel (the company treats us well) but don't know yet where.

I am only staying 3 days, but will have a two nights on my own. This is why I am calling for help.

I have a few questions:

1 What is the best way to meet girls as I have limited time?

2 Should I try at the hotel bar or is it going to be outrageously expensive?

3 How can I meet a girl to accompany me if I want to go out and spend the night out?

4 How much should I pay?

I know that some of you will tell me that I should not try the professionals and should try to speak to girls. Although I am only 28 and not ugly, I think, so I think could give it a try, I was not very successful when I was in Ghana (although many posters had mentioned that it was very easy in this country) as I did not have enough time.

As I will have only two nights in Banjul, I am afraid I will miss my chance.

I thank you very much in advance for your response.

If you want to send me a PM, I'd be happy to discuss more in details.

Banjul is dead at the evening; there are two "hotels"; Princess Diana
and Carlton (not sure abour the name; maybe Condor). "Gentlemen" are
sitting outside and offer you to visit the bar......try it.
AND; in the evening the mosquitos are horroble.
Freelancer; smile and ask; take a drink at the Arche Cafe/Restaurant outside.
Don´t waste time at the ferry area; it´s nothing there. Stay in this street
which i told you; Banjul is small; in 15 minutes you ve seen the "hotspots".

It kinda takes the ''romanticism'' out of the encounter, but overpaying will only encourage them. They will all try it on, if you want less hassle pay 1000 dalasi a night but 500 dalasi should also be fine if you are very firm. They will never be happy, but they are fucking poor and 500 is lot of money, but they do get spoilt. Be firm agree and make them understand this. Tell ebu the night man when you get back to the place you are staying what you agreed and get him to tell the girl not to try it on, give him 100 dalsi and it will be money well spent but you do not have to pay anything to take a girl back but that is just some advice from me pay him 100 and then maybe 500 plus taxi 100 to the chugger, rather than paying 1000 a night. Yes some girls will not go along with it, but that is fine as many will go for the lower and then try it on later, but be firm and treat them well but do not take any shit, but always settle on a price first. Keep your valuables in the safe at the front. Cover everything and you will be fine.

The professionals mostly from the neighbour countries; moon prices.
Try to find a trustful (tipped) waiter, pool staff aso. They know a
lot of sisters; 500 D/night.
But these girls are mostly from the villages; they can´t go with
you in a bar/disco.
For me the best thing; relaxing at the beach; and in the evening
a "shy sister" visiting me

Hi Folks

Live in Lagos and was in Gambia earlier this year and had the good fortune to meet this pornstar from Sierra Leone in a bar, spent the night and it was like being hit by a fast moving freight train! I have lived in Africa for many years and know the score with it all, however, sometimes you just have to "have it" full bore with both barrels and she was it. Two classic mistakes your author made: 1. Went to her house (she cooked me dinner and provided cold beer!) and 2: went bare-back and ate her out (have a taste for it), had to shorten proceedings as the alarm clock went off and had to go to work in the morning! – she was difficult to leave! So after work I always go to a bar for a few toots with the boys. Except that day I had to have more and went round to hers for a few rounds instead! So this is around 5. 30 – arranged to meet blokes for a booze up around 9. 00, and got there about 10. 30!

Here's the good bit: all African girls are after a payday – no issue with that, they may irritate you after a while, however, this one (I was "with her" for about two months) did not steal anything at all. You can get a good night in the sack for around 500 Dalasis (40D is a £1 to you squire. Well it was then), I certainly over-paid but I ain't counting, I absolutely got value for money. Hope you like the pix, had to do the paint job on them though!

I would NOT advise anyone to do what I did, I got lucky with no preggie worries or nasty rashes, I would also say that I am no stranger to things Africa – I have lived in Lagos for nearly 12 years, and have a regular chick in Port Harcourt – but especially to the fresh fishes out there WEAR ONE! And to quote his highness Sir Mick Jagger on Sympathy for the Devil "Every cop is a criminal", can also mean that that all African girls are not bad. They ain't.

Gents, I have invested in a new fone with a camera that can see God knows what from God knows how far (according to the specification), so expect lots and lots of fotos from Nigeria and West Africa's finest ladeez!

Regards,

The Ikejagoblin

You're bang on me ol' son! Good policy here: If you want to take a girl home, treat her like yer wife (if you have one), or at least treat her like someone that you are happy/proud to have on your arm. Too often I see blokes treat girls like shit, and for one reason. Because they can! And that sucks, I have been kicking around Africa long enough and and never been fucked over and pretty well all of my girlfriends would have me again. 1. Pay well. Cost (I. E.) N6000. Agreed, so say "that's nice, we'll settle for N8, 000", and. Of course. You're buying drinks and breakfast etc. Once the cash bullshit is sorted you will have a much nicer time. Don't get me wrong, there are chancers about, however, a bit of the right attitude and nouse will filter the idiots out and the good ones will stay.

So there, and by the way. AC-DC are still fucking great live, and the Rolling Stones are going on tour again, the beer is cold, the work contract is won and we are all going to get drunk!

Happy Days

Regards

The Goblin

I've just booked my first Gambua trip and will be arriving in February 2011. If anyone's around then and kind enough to show me the ropes, I'll happier treat them to a few beers.

Any contacts details for any nice ladies would be welcome and allow me to hook-up during the first few days while I find my feet.

I'm travelling to gambia&senegal later this year and would like a slim girl for all 2 weeks. But she should preferably be without any genetial mutilation and should be opened to things as anal, threesomes, bondage and fisting, as well as she should not mind camera. If you have any idea how to arrange that or any contacts of such girl would be grateful. Money is not a problem, I see it around 25-60.000 dalases but not limited for such pleasure based on the girl. Hi

You can buy Venegra around standard charter bank at Westfield. People will approach you shaking a box of them. I pay D50 for a box of 8. These are 50mg and do the job!

I may be back there end of April. Just done 2 and half years there. Girls can still be had for 200-400 or take one for a week for 1000-3000. GFE The workers will still aks for 2000 a time but will end up at 500-800. I much prefer GFE. Maybe see you there. Terry.

Want to go in September and / or in December (first time). I've not spent much time out of Kololi, so I can't comment on others area. Most of the girls seem to move around the bars and seem to be attracted to the bars that have live music on that evening, but you can find an odd girl or two in a lot of the bars.

You should have some luck at;

Ali Baba (Fridays)

Amsterdam Dolphins (most nights)

Binis (late at night)

Bucarabu (Friday. Next to Churchill's)

Churchill's (Weds & Sat. Near the Palma Rima hotel)

Joker's (Westfield Wed's)

Clubs

Duplex.

Paparazzi.

Totties.

Wow (maybe best to avoid on rasta nights. Which I think are weds)

Jazz Cafe for daytime fun. If there are no girls in there just speak to Mariama (the waitress who is good for sharing a drink with and hacing a laugh) and she will call girls in off the street or get on the phone for you.

Most girls who smile at you in the street are available, if you approach them.

But as mentioned before if you meet decent taxis drivers, bar staff or security guards speak to them and most can arrange something for you.

Most action is happening in Senegambia area. A few days Duplex has action, but Gambia is now economically much better these days. It is now more expensive to get girls. Many hotels will not allow girls in your room, particularly African girls. You could walk straight in with a European girl and no questions will be asked but they are a bit thin on the ground and anyway who wants a European with so many beautiful black girls. The Holiday Beach in Senegambia is girl firndly, you will have to pay at reception for an extra occupant, but the quality of the accommodation is only one or two star.

I will be happy to pass on details of a superior quality Apartment. 165sq mtrs, very close to Senegambia, where you can bring as many girls as you like back, subject only to them being of proper age and quite right too.

I'm not going to post the details on this page as this is not a sleazy place but probably the best in the Country.

This will probably sound a bit feeble, but here goes anyway! I'm thinking of taking a package tour (plane and half-pension in a hotel) out of London to The Gambia towards the end of November. Although my main objective is simply (honestly!) to get out of the lousy weather in northern Europe and lounge around in the sun at the pool and beach for a week, a couple of women at night. Well, anytime, really. Wouldn't come amiss either. For the latter, would be grateful for any useful tips and advice, eg, are hotels catering for the package tour trade GF in general, what are the good / acceptable / efficient ways of meeting up with beddable women (bearing in mind that I hate discos and dancing halls and won't go near them) , are there any hotels or areas which are especially promising these days, security while mongering. Etc etc? Many thanks for any help on this one.

Steve: what about the more attractive (female) hotel staff. Are they doable, in general?I'll give you an answer to that. In general, if you see a girl ANYWHERE. Supermarket, hotel, bar, walking on the street, beach, absolutely anywhere. Just approach her, chat a little, and ask her if she would like to meet for a meal, and she will agree. When you meet ask her where she would like to go and I'll be more than surprised if she doesn't say she'd like to go to your hotel room. 98% of the local girls are game. They'll expect a present, give them a little cash, but they'll be pestering you for the rest of your stay.

Jobs and money are scarce. She is more likely to invite you to 'a friend's room'. If the young lady does not work at your hotel, then things are different but do not be surprised to have to pay an extra fee to the front desk and she will probably be asked to show her ID card.

And there, perhaps, is the rub : possibly less security, you never know where you might end up. But I do appreciate the point made about jobs being scarce and I shouldn't like to be responsible for someone losing their livelihood. But perhaps I'm just a bit unenterprising. Or lazy.

What is the usual amount of money that the girls expect?P4P girls will expect 500 to 1, 000 dalasis, but local girls should be happy with less, say 200.

Agree entirely with Mick44. At best, London 2011's post shows all the features of a teenager trying to shock. Very silly indeed.London2011 is simply explaining what he is looking for. That is the point of this site. Detractors offer helpful advice or don't bother to come here.

Forget the hotels; google apartments+kerr serignWhy forget the hotels? Are they not GF? Your belongings will be stolen?

Can you recommend some places to stay that are GF, are close to the action and have safety box in the room? What about for example Palm Beach hotel?

What is special about the Princess Apartments?

People in Africa want to surviveI agree with Steve, if we pay 800 – 900 € for a flight ticket to Gambia (or someone knows cheaper alternative) then we can pay the girls 500 D to make them happy to.

If you get a 'good girl' just for one night / evening in such a small city as Banjul or Senegambia strip and give her some money will the she not come again all the time and bother you?

After spending a month, I can comment that the Kairaba is definitely girl friendly. Even if all they do is request that you sign her in and pay the $15 extra for the night. (The more enterprising ones sneak out early, so you don't have to hit this little deficit).

As a foreigner, finding entertainment is ridiculously easy. From the "spa" at the Kairaba, to the massage parlour just up the road from the hotel, to hitting up any of the night clubs. Totties, Wow (which I would *not* recommend as it gets too crowded, too pushy, and too testosterone filled, too easily!) , or even Duplex or Aquarius. All easily withing walking distance of the hotel (although Duplex is a little bit of a trek).

On a more inspired night, we took a taxi to a local reggae club. Car Wash. Also, easy pickings; too easy really.

In general, I found the girls to be fun, friendly, and enthusiatic, but, not really into CIM. Pity.

If you're still having problems, sit down for a drink at Wow. One of the local touts will definitely find you, and help you out. Usually for as little as 50 Dalasi.

Play safe.

G'day Punters.

Should be in Gambia next week, staying in Palma Rima area where Amsterdam Dolphin etc is. What are the best pick up places on a Sunday? I guess that if England win the footie then I shall celebrate with a leg over, and if we lose then I shall comiserate with a leg over! Either way, it equates to the same thing LOL. Ideally the entertainment should not be the battle hardened warships that cruise in WOW and places like that. Don't worry, dear readers, it ain't going to be fine wine and classical music either! Is Bini's still a good place? And what about Baku (?) and Churchills next door? And I think there was Time Out too for a take-away. Finally (sorry about this but the bank website is knackered!) what's the current Dalasi to $ and D to £ rate at the moment? All girl-hunting and financial advice greatly app-re-shi-ate-ed, Yowsa!

Cheers.

Porlamar.

October is just coming, like the *****, into "season", so you won't have any worries meeting the girl of your dreams! Well, sort of. Bini's is always a fair shot, on the strip you got Totties and Wow! Both of which can get a bit "local", and full of hookers who are a bit too professional. On the strip there are a few bars, many of which are full of posers and people who think they are living "The Africa Experience", or to put it more politely: wankers! Bucarabu in Palma Rima is quite fun, you will meet the usual suspects from the ex-pat community, along with the usual lady suspects fucking them. Churchills next door is run by a guy called Tony, who's a nutter and diamond geezer, and in the season there are a few reasonable take aways there. Also the chilli-con-carne is really good! Any of the regulars will give you a fair steer of where to go, and the girls for sale are as obvious as the balls on a tall dog. The beach: unless you like the "abrasive experience" (ouch!) wear one, and I wouldn't risk it at night! Apartments: plenty, get in touch with a guy called Jason who runs Sea Breeze appartments, he's part of the furniture down there and as sound as a pound, there's Luigis and Calabash again in Palma Rima. Although I dunno if they are all girl friendly. D500 to D1000 depending on how good they are or how much you like them should cover the expenses in the sack. Have a good time! If you trip over a guy who's pissed up but quite friendly, then that'll be me!

Have a goooood time.

I know there is a brothel (greenline motel) near Lana-bar serrekunda. There are many girls, old and ugly but occasionally nice, young ones.

You can fuck for 300D, locals pay 200. You pay for the room as well (200d). If you are very hungry you can stay there one day (500d) and fuck over the day a lot of them, so you can have a good time.

I wonder if there is another brothel in serrekunda! Does someone know? I really like to go there and try the girls.

Used to live in "The Gambia" back in the day when there were wars in every 2nd African shit-hole. But this place is always a fave. Friendly English speaking people. Pretty ladies. Even the Senegalese are nicer here. But alas I have not been here since 2002 and my mates are all gone. Overall this country may be the current greatest place on earth for p4p if the prices are still 500Ds a day. $17US for a hottie tootie Africana.

I am interested to know if "The Pineapple" apartments / BB is girl friendly. I am coming for 10 days+ in Oct. PM me if you want. I provide useful advice everywhere I go. And BTW I read the last 15 pages of TFF.

Mrumojo,

I will visit Gambia in 3 weeks and will stay near Kairaba hotel.

Wondered what the prices are and how facilitating is the staff of the spa to give ST. Is it obvious and discreet? Can one just ask it without insulting them? I just wondered as it is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. Actually, what is the rate of the massage and the rate for ST?

What is the rate and the quality of the girls in the massage parlor across the road? Do they actually give also a real massage? I prefer to have both!

Hi there!

Going to the Gambia at the end of October for the first time.

I don't like to take girls to the place where I'm staying for privacy reasons. Also I don't like to pay guest fees, that's ripping off!

What is a good place to rent a room if you need one for one or more nights?

How is the Gambia for shopping for men's clothes like shirts and trousers? I'd like to travel light and buy that stuff localy.

What's good stuff for taking to the Gambia? I have a 30 kilo allowance for luggage. Would be a shame to waste it so I'd like to take some stuff for bartering, giving away, etc.

Thanks for any input!

(£1 = 50 dalasis (GMD) local currency)

Anyone that has been frequenting Gambia has obviously been keeping a secret from this forum.

Having personally travelled pretty much everywhere in the world, I think Gambia is an amazing country for mongering but with caveats.

This is a muslim country but nothing like other muslim countries I have been to. This is an african country but nothing like other african countries I have been to. Yes I am generalising but this is based on my experiences. Muslims and christians inter-marry without issues. The women are often married off at 13 or 14. Have 2-3 kids and then divorce their cheating / abusive husbands. Its absolutely safe to walk around at any time of the night on the streets. I never felt unsafe. But people I spoke to did have their stuff stolen every now and then so you do need to keep your wits about you. The country is SUPER cheap. A beer costs £0. 5. A local meal costs £0. 6. If you go to an expensive restaurant it will cost you £4-7 for a meal.

The main tourist area 'The Strip' is full of in your face touts / hustlers but I think they are harmless. So if you like black women you will be in heaven in this country but its a very small community so if you play around and try and have a different woman everyday with a 'good girl' then you could have some problems.

The first night I landed, I had three women. Met one on the street, she was dressed smoking hot and I just stopped her and she accompanied me to a live band on the beach which had beds. She led the entire interaction and we were on the beach making out. Within a few minutes we were in my room and making out. No sex at this stage. She said she couldn't stay as her parents were expecting her and she would be back the next night. Sure enough she was back the next night to stay over but by then I had met someone else (I had told her to wait for my phone call to confirm arrangements but she was too eager). We never talked money but I think she was expecting around £5 for the whole day.

I ended up meeting an amazing girl the first night when I grabbed her on the street and started dancing with her on the street. I wanted to try different girls everynight but ended up having a great time with her for the entire week. I paid her £7 for each night she spent with me. Money was never discussed though and every now and then I bought her a dress or something (£4). Pretty much EVERYONE (incl police, army, etc) knew I had shacked up with this girl so it was impossible for me to move on to another girl as I did not want to embarass / disrespect her although I had made it clear to her that I was looking to have fun with other girls on my trip. My one was really great to be with, never a dull moment and cared for me like I was her everything.

You have working girls from neighbouring states (liberia, sierra leone, senegal, etc) coming into Gambia and they are a bit hardened (I've been told) so definitely avoid that. All the action happens on 'The strip'. Senegambia. The club 'Wow' is best avoided to be honest as it really brings in rough people. Thursdays are rasta night so DEFINITELY avoid that night. I prefer classier places like poco loco (near duplex. About 15 minute walk from the 'strip). My other fav was Binis. Really nice music and I think most expats go here. There is also Aquarius and toties which were nice but not as busy as Binis. Binis, Totties, Wow, Poco Loco are open 7 days. Duplex definitely wasn't open most of the week besides later in the week. Everyone seems to go to Sizzler. A beach Reggae party every Sunday. Because I was shacked up with just one girl all week I didn't check out most of the venues. I would post her pic, etc but she is not a working girl so want to protect her identity as she is quite well known and frequents the clubs pretty much every night.

Just to give you an idea about how open they are. She was pretty much having dirty sex with me on the dance floor and no one batted an eyelid. Girls are all scantily dressed as its a HOT country.

If you find a trustable local you can ask them to introduce you to a good girl. One who never frequents the strip but is still up for fun as she needs to support the family. Again, I am guessing the prices as

For food, I highly recommend Paradiso's chicken and chips. A bargain at £3 and very tasty. Taxi will cost you 600 GMD set price from the airport to senegambia. On the way back I got a taxi for 300 GMD.

I stayed at Princess apartments. It's location and staff are excellent and they do not charge for bring back guests. I paid about 6500 GMD. BUT something to note is that Gambia has an electricity problem. During the day. 7 days a week. The electricity will not be available most of the time (7am to 7pm). In my 7 days I think I only had electricity 3 days. From 7pm electricity was available everyday. Princess apartments has a generator but they don't put it on. Meaning that tasks like going to the toilet, etc can be a challenge as the sunlight does not reach in there fully. TV / fans and AC does not work during the time there is no electricity. There is no internet access. There is a very large lockable room where I kept my luggage / valuables.

Palma rima is another place people stay which is about 20-25 mins walk from the strip. Transport around is very cheap and if you are game (I am!) you can catch shared vans and taxi which costs just 7 GMD.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gambia for everyone.

Can't belive thatThink Kute Guy means per week. My old boss went there in 2010 and paid roughly £95 / week in the quiet season. Take into account inflation, currency movements etc and it sounds about right.

Good report, Kute Guy. Have a few questions though if you don't mind me asking.

Itll be my first time "paying to play" outside of the UK so I'm curious more so than anything as to whether or not its common there / its visible that men desiring a taste of the local ladies on offer go there for this reason.

And if so / its known about, are the gents there for this reason treated in any way differently to the boring sit on the beach doing fuck-all all day types?

I notice on the dance floor you mention nobody battered an eyelid, what about outside of the club / bars?

I'm more than keen on going, purely as it'll be cheap and my first time with a dark skinned bird.

Yes I meant per week.

The locals don't care if you are enjoying the local ladies at all because Gambia is actually a sex destination for women. That is white women go there to get some black action. Every few metres you will see a 50+ yr old woman with a black guy.

My advice to you, if you want to have many ladies is that you make it clear somehow that you are not looking for a relationship. Being a small community if you [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) off one or two ladies they could make life difficult for you.

Thanks for your report; well done. Will seriously have to consider Gambia. Brought an English speaking muslim girl back from Ghana (not her country of origin) on visa with the advantage that she was raised in a culture of polygamy being fully acceptable. You've raised my interest level.

Stopping at The Sarges on my own at the end of feb and my first time in gambia and looking forward to it. Now I have picked up plenty of advice from this forum but what I can't understand is why the hotels don't allow guests gf? After all I paid single room supplement which in essence was paying for two! Also any info on hotel sarges is it gf and what the hotel is like in general. And any body fancy a beer when I get there.

Thanks

Thanks. Sarges hotel is not g / f. You should have booked a guest house there are really nice one's in kotu near the bardala park hotel. Most hotel's will not let you take a lady back to your room unless you pay 1000 dalise thats about £20 the.

I just came back from a 2 week holiday in Gambia. This will be my second trip. Not as great as Kenya, but still a perfect spot for our hobby.

Before my departure, I made a couple of contacts on Afro. Got phone numbers and promised them I would make contact on arrival. Whatever you do, don't disclose your departure date or else you might get a shopping list. On arrival, I picked up an africell sim card at the airport, you need to register them now, but your passport should be enough to show at the office (at the arrival hall).

Contrary to popular belief, the Kairaba hotel is gf, however if bringing a girl in late at night, you need to sort out the security at the gate (100D should do it) and the girl will need to leave her I'd at the gate. I did this last year, but I didn't like the idea of walking a girl in miniskirts out of the hotel in the morning. This hotel is usually full of old European couples. Stay away from the Senegambia hotel, you will be charged 1500D for bringing a girl in.

Your best bet is to stay in an apartment near the strip. There are many. Use Google or pm me and I can make a couple of recommendations. Cheaper and no questions asked. I stayed in a huge apartment about a 10 minute walk to the strip or 50D taxi fare. Ask the drivers for their mobile and simply call them when you need to make a move. I had about 4 drivers' number. Prior to choosing this apartment, I asked the owner if there were any restrictions as far as guests, he assured me that I could throw parties and invite 20 people over night if I wanted.

I called the first girl, she me at the gate to the strip. Instantly, took her back to my apartment. After 10 minutes we were at it. This was not a working girl, I will explain the similarities and differences in a while. After a couple of hours, I sent her home via my taxi driver 200D, though the fare was only 100D. I never saw her again, saying that, she called me about 30 times and I didn't pick up. It was followed by insults. LOL.

The next night, picked up the next girl on my list. I was a bit generous, I bought her a fruit cocktail (50D) near Palma rima. Took her back to my apartment, did the deed. Sent her home 150D cab fare. Again, this one called me, then said she was 'stran'. What this means is she is broke and needs money. I ignored. Never saw her again either.

The similarities with these two girls is that they will give it to you easy the first time, then hit you with a story down the line about their sick mum, rent or some other bullshit. The trick is to move in and move out quick.

My next conquest was at Binis bar. There are a lot of working girls there. As a matter of fact, any girl on the strip that doesn't work there in a bar or restaurant is a working girl. I made friends with a guy at one of the local bars so he would always accompany me at night. He knows all the girls and he could tell me their profile and he would normally call them, and gave guidance on prices (pm me if you want his contact number). I picked up a girl with a humongous ass, she said I should pay her anything I wanted. I said ok. My 'guide' told me to give out 500D only. I took her back to my apartment. She had a mean head game and will tickle your butthole while blowing. She licked balls as well. LOL. Now this was a pro. The next day, I gave her 500D. She stayed till about 12 noon the next day. She told me alot about Gambia and girls and how they operated. I took pictures of her big ass, but she threatened she would kill me with voodoo if I posted them on the internet. LOL. I'm not scared, but I'm not posting them. LOL. Let's not ruin it for the next guy and his photo opportunity.

I never had the same girl more than once and I went for anything from tour guides, to bar staffs and other working girls. I even picked up girls I met last year and went for a second opinion. On my last night, I took 3 different girls to my apartment, one at 6pm. 9.30pm and the last one at midnight. The look on my security guards face was priceless. LOL. Didn't cost me a penny, just cab fare. Never once did I have dinner with a girl.

Why, I took the advice of my 'guide' and played it safe. I saw many with the same girl throughout the week. This can be avoided. How? If you pick up a girl from the strip, make sure your arrangement with her is strictly business. Don't ask for her number. I guarantee that every time you walk into the strip, every working girl sees you. Even though they are pros, they can approach you like a GF and you'll end up stuck with them throughout your trip. Dinner can cost up to 600D, but on occasion I did give out 200 or 300D on the pretext it was cab fare. You can try the waitresses at the bar, they will meet you after work, but will not walk into the strip with you, so they are not mistaken for working girls. Just keep away from where they work if you are with another girl. Or better still, get the girls from other areas, they too will not walk into the strip. The only thing is they will cling onto you.

Here is the downside, I came across 3 girls who were circumcised. I was put off to be honest, and you will come across it too, but not in all cases.

Secondly, Gambians hate foreigners. Yes. Shocking, but yes they do. However, they love foreign money, so expect everyone, I mean everyone to be extremely nice to you. From the regular girl, to the working girl. They will be nice, and if you are stupid enough, start a relationship and even suggest marriage (I saw a lot of that). The moment your aircraft departs, they are with the next tourist. They will even maintain their local Gambian boyfriend who is fully aware of what they are doing and will take a step back while you are around. The girls are the same with their boyfriends when they go off with the old and fat European women. So don't waste your time thinking you have a girl friend.

The bottom line is it's a great country, not Kenya, but a great place for a short break. Regular girls are not freaks (I only got BJs from WGs) , most don't even drink alcohol (apart from the WG). But when they see you, they see money. Be smart, stay safe and enjoy the food, weather, julbrew and the girls.

Gentlemen; I can confirm 90% of Mekeys report. 500 D is a lot of money in Gambia; Locals
pay max. 50 the for one shoot; maybe 100 the the night.
Hating; hmhh. I can t say that. I was so many years in so many countries but I never
had such an expirience like in Gambia; the whole nation is hunting money. They expect
money for nothing; also average people. If they see a foreigner; squeeze him out.

Warning: The girls learned from the boys. They try to make you mad; everytime; 24 h to create
a discussion what we are doing now, later or NOT. F. E. : Now only massage; why today 2 times; why
this restaurant. Believe me; this is the "business"; and many old men accept it. After a few days
you re the monkey.

Stay tough; make a clear situation. Kick them out or you will loose. I met scandinavian women; they
stopped their vacation.

I'm telling them when I'm flyin at home; no problem. And the shopping list. I gave them money; so
they can go shopping. Ohhhhh; small money. Then I asked: How many thousands you ve in your pocket?
Even not the 7 the for the bus.

Gambia is so far okay 6 h flight, and in africa

I have never been to Gambia before but I am going in feb, After reading your post Mekey I am now a bit confused. You say Gambians hate foriegners when a majority of posts state that they are a friendly people, and I do understand that is a lot to do with making money which is understandable for people living in a poor country. I don't mean to be rude but I guess its just that they hate people of your ilk who after reading your post a couple of times get the impression you think your clever by trying to pay as little or no money at all for the privelage of some female company. I am going on holiday to have fun and if that means spending a bit of money great thats why I work hard and by being fair with the locals you will reap what you sow.

I will dismiss your post as irrelevant for the likes of myself who are going for a bit of exploring a new country, some sunshine, cheap beer and some lovelly african food and to generally take in a new culture and yes maybe a girl or two but I would treat them right and then maybe a good time will be had by all. Your post would probably be usefull to men like yourself who backpack round the world without a pot to [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) in, so thanks but no thanks for your advice as I find it quite offensive.

But, get to know them individually, and its a different story even though they might go back to the hating as soon as they're back with their buddies.

As a black person I mixed with a lot of locals and was priveledged to a lot of information which I am sharing. I was right next to one waiter when he smiled and thanked a tourist for a tip, as soon as she left it was followed by insults because he felt the 50D tip wasn't enough. I have been to Tunisia, and the it's the same thing, the only difference is they will say it to your face if you tell them "no" or give a tip that they felt was inadequate. Then there was the WG I picked up and saw the following day with another tourist, on the way to the toilet, we met, I had my hands up her skirt and she smiled and her exact words were "I am here with one stupid toubab". Here is a guy who was bar hopping with her "spending". My advice is be smart, enjoy yourself.

As far as backpacking, Iloveahoe, please! 3 holidays a year, nothing less than 5 star. There are those on this board I met in Kenya who will vouch for me. I don't even do local transports. I hire a driver everyday.

If a non WG gives it up for free, so be it. I won't be caught up in their lies and deceit or go back for a second session. I made a reference to 2 girls where it cost me next to nothing, that didn't define my whole experience.

Ivanhoe; yes. They re friendly. But this is their business. AND: Gambia is safe; that's for
me one point why I ve choosen this country. Not far and food / drinks re really cheap for us.
Hating is maybe the wrong subscription. I can't say that; but what Mekey told us is
easy to believe and for sure true.
If you accept the bar hopping you re on the street to loose. First we go home; later
we can go out. Sorry; i ve learned also in Gambia.

Gentlemen; after so many times in africa: If you re setting one foot out of your room
expect that you will hear only lies; if it's becoming better it's ok; if not you know it.
And sorry; in Gambia i met the worsest women all araund the world; 24 h they try
to create a discussion why we not doing this or that.
Make a clear situation; this is your offer; finnish. Gambia is the paradise (or hell) for
european women; so as a male tourist you re in the minority...

@Mekey; so if you re african; do you also speaking wollof / mandinka?

EDITOR'S NOTE: This report was obviously written by bypassing the Forum's Text Cleanup Script.

The Forum's Text Cleanup Script automatically fixes a number of common writing errors like improper capitalization, missing punctuation, common misspellings, sentence and paragraph spacing, etc.

Here's the bottom line: If you're going to bipass the Forum's Text Cleanup Script, then your writing had better be letter perfect or I'm going to delete it. That means use correct punctuation, spell words in their entirety, capitalize the 1st letter of all proper nouns, capitalize the proper noun "I", double space between paragraphs, do not use repetitive punctuation, etc., etc., etc., and most important of all: Do not write like you're texting on a fucking cellphone.

I read back from about 15 pages of the forum and Gambia sounds like its the Sosua, Dominican Republic of West Africa. Anybody been to both places to compare? Seems like a hell of a time and cheaper too.

Is there better GFE in Kenya BTW? I originally started my African mongering education based on my overwhelming attraction to Ethiopian girls and was really disappointed to read about the lack of performance from some of the most exotic and beautiful women on the planet.

Oh well, Africa is a big place and still a lot I have to educate myself on.

Oh well, Africa is a big place and still a lot I have to educate myself on.I'm guessing that not that many people have, so feel a bit of an obligation to answer.

The Gambia is burdened with a few things: a Muslim background, a government that took power through coup, and one of the least developed economies of the world. So, you should expect to see a constant stream of harassment directed at any obvious foreigner (toubab). I saw women there on a "roots" type tour simply miserable because they were being followed around by touts that just wouldn't leave them alone. I had a number of pleasant and less so experiences, including a most ludicrous argument where some guy I'd met a few weeks previous, and had made some innocent comment like "let's have a drink sometime" he took as an obligation to BUY him a drink that next time I saw him, and angry that I didn't! Money is never far from the equation here, and the Muslim aspect just means everything is a bit underground. (I was propositioned by the gay bartender at my hotel on the last day; I had no idea.)

Sosua is blatantly commercial; the women are out for one thing. BUT, you don't have all the weight of those issues to deal with. And there IS some hostility in the Gambia directed toward foreigners. Plus the girls have the Latina vibe, and Caribbean flavor. And Cabarete is an awesome town for kitesurfing and the hobby. Overall, I think it's an easy choice. Unless you happen to be based in Europe and Gambia is much closer, Sosua wins hands down.

I do have an African bug though so will just have to rely on some of the Hatian girls in Sosua for now, or until I find a suitable country in Africa worth flying to.

Thanks again and best wishes in your travels.

I have come to know several girls in The Gambia and I think one can say that in general the "real Gambian" girls, that is to say those who are born there and / or live with their family are less enthusiastic in performing sex as a pleasure.

Most of them are muslim to a certain extend, or want to be considered as such and probably a good share of them are circumcised, which in itself of course already gives them less pleasure in sex.

These are the girls that are probably brought to you by their "brothers" who work in the hotels, in the fruit stalls etc.

Most of them don't drink alcohol or smoke.

My experiences with these girls, who not seldom have a stunning body, are gorgeous looking and pitch black in colour, mostly from the Diola tribe, are that they consider sex more as a duty than as a pleasure, so they want you to do your thing as quick as possible and they might also complain that it is hurting or otherwise making them tired.

Often also they want you to meet their families, so you can contribute money for their food, hospital bills etc.

It can be an awkward situation when the family comes to visit you in full attire, ready as it were to start negotiations about the bride price etc.

Of course one can be lucky and meet that special Gambian young lady who is genuinely sexy and open to all kind of entertaining action, but in general I would say that it is mostly girls who came from other countries that are more open to playful and all-round sex.

I'm talking about girls from Sierra Leone an Senegal for example.

I was lucky to literally bump into one girl from Sierra Leone, not as spectacular looking as some of the girls around, but man she really enjoyed sex in many ways and was also very demanding for herself.

She showed me all corners of the bed and I was even surprised of myself, she made me perform the way I used to do some 20 years ago.

Comparing Gambia with for example Kenya I must say that there is a serious lack of daytime places (such as Cheers or Big Tree in Mombasa) to meet girls in Gambia.

There are few bars with people inside in the daytime and even fewer of them have girls inside.

You might be lucky and chat up a girl on the beach, on the market or at the massage sites, but it is not as evident as in Kenya.

In the evening Bini's is about the only serious place where there are dozens of girls hanging around, preying on their Toubab-customers.

It looks like a big fashion show, sometimes incredibly skinny girls (with pencil-like arms & legs) are parading to show off who has the highest heels or the craziest wig.

Here at Bini's most of the girls seem to originate from Sierra Leone, but also some of the Gambian girls try their luck there.

The management even introduced an entrance fee for unaccompanied girls of 100 dalasis which gives them the right to enter and 2 drinks, as some Gambian girls (those who are not drinking) used to hang around the whole evening on just one softdrink.

Concerning the guesthouses where one can spend the night with your new-found wife: there are plenty of them, starting from 400 dalasis per night. In order to avoid driving around at night in a taxi to find the guest-houses full it might be advisable to book them beforehand.

One guest-house, albeit quite basic, which is conveniently nearby on walking distance from the Senegambia strip and Bini's is "Palm Tree".

Thanks a lot for a great response. Put to rest a lot of my curiosities. I guess I'll stick to Sosua for now. I do have an African bug though so will just have to rely on some of the Hatian girls in Sosua for now, or until I find a suitable country in Africa worth flying to.

Thanks again and best wishes in your travels. The 'Hip Hop' wanna-be African Americans have not only fucked up Sosua price-wise, but because of all the free and easy 'make it rain' money to be made there now it's attracted a noticable criminal element. Bad girls and corrupt cops are on the order of the day and it's only getting worse.

Go to Africa but forget the Gambia, try Mombasa, Kenya instead. Even the owner of Passion's goes there to fuck black girls and to get away from the Sosua scum. Why shouldn't you?

I think there can still be a bargain to be found but you have to look a little harder and it sure helps to speak Spanish and be good looking to try and land a semi or non-pro. Sosua is my practice ground until my Spanish gets better.

As far as Africa, I'm sure the same rules apply. I'm 34, tall, and in good shape. Not rich so I have to use the assets I was born with so to speak LOL. Have to keep searching the forums. I have heard good things about Mombasa as well as Uganda. Any other countries where girls have that look similar to Ethiopian but fuck like its their last day on earth?

Thanks for the replies guys.

I have heard good things about Mombasa as well as Uganda. Any other countries where girls have that look similar to Ethiopian but fuck like its their last day on earth? As you I am also in luv with the Ethiopian woman. I thank they are among the most beautiful women on earth and I had planed a trip to go there but after rtff and a friend ditched out on going with me (was going with him because he supposedly knew the ends and outs) I had to let go of that trip for now. As of you I'm in good shape, I think quite handsome no problem getting women here at home but I had much difficulty in Ghana. I don't know what culture you are but I am black so it's not too easy when in africa getting the attention of the women because they think I am from there. I am well traveled so I always blend in so I have to put in a little effort so they will know I am not from their country. From my observation Ghanian women are among the most beautiful women in west africa and if you are a white guy plus a dashing one at that they will fall all over you like autumn leaves. There is a club call Aphrodite there that I went to in Accra and there was this older white guy there that the girls would not leave alone that's how they come after you like tigers LOL. So I could imagine how Ethiopia and Gambia would be being that Ghana is a little bit more flexible when it comes to personal liberties of the women.

I think Uganda would be a good choice and this is why. I was on a website while planning my trip for Ghana and ran into a beautiful Ugandan. She came to visit the states and then I met her. Ever since then we have been on a world wind of sex and fun and she never ask for nothing but she has her own home and a greencard where she can travel back and forth whenever she pleases. I don't know how she pulled this off but being with how beautiful she was some poor punter some where helped build her house, helped get her greencard and funds her credit cards. I have been rtff for uganda and it is now on my radar. From rtff for kenya it is going down the drain fast but I am still torn between uganda and Kenya when I know that now Uganda would probably be the best choice for guys like me and you. There are a lot of college chicks available and there are a lot of women there who are already well funded and are looking for us dashing, not bad on the eyes young guys to have fun with.

I've been to Sosua and had a lot of fun in particular with an Haitian chick who didn't ask for nothing after the 1st initial business transaction. It was only one time I OP and I didn't rrtf thourouly but out of my 8 chicas I was with I think I did well. I won't tell you the scratch Gambia off the list but Ghana might suit you well. Ethiopia would be a good trip but with someone who already knows the ends and out, Uganda is a flower waiting to blossom for you. For Kenya if you are like me I'm thinking our looks may get us by so that's why it is still on my radar.

Not by any means and I'm saying that we won't have to spend by the way, I'm just that our charming smiles will help with the negotiation if any at all.

Sosua is my practice ground until my Spanish gets better.Lucky for you as African Americans generally don't go to Sosua for Haitian chicks so you're not competing with their bankroll. Maybe things have changed since I was last there, but Haitians were slim pickings as most were getting arrested and deported. Either way, there are better places on earth for what you're looking for.

As you I am also in luv with the Ethiopian woman. I thank they are among the most beautiful women on earth and.

I think Uganda would be a good choice and this is why. .I had 2 Ethiopian girls here in Germany. Really pretty faces, slim bodies, long legs. But fat chubby booties, far too chubby to have fun, just pure soft fat, not like the fat & hard booties of the western African women. The sexual performance of Ethiopian women is widely known as under average and I can confirm this.

I had a gf from Uganda, a student in the UK. Really pretty, model-type and good fun with her. I had plans to go to Uganda for holidays with her in 2011, she didn't like the idea, because Ugandan people don't like to see white men with their girls. If you are black, Uganda can be the place for you.

I've heard its hard to pull tail in some of those countries being black. Were those Ghana girls pros or regular girls? I'm a 6' 2" fit white guy with no problems pulling hot girls in the states. My last 6 have all been under 24 years old. I'm guessing I'll do pretty well in Ghana or Uganda. Can't remember how well they speak English there though. Too bad about Ethiopia. That country seriously needs to invest in internet porn to get those girls up to par.

Did it ever occur to you that this dude's girlfriend simply didn't want him to accompany her back to Uganda so she made up this bullshit cultural story that he bought hook-line-and-sinker? If you want the real scoop on Uganda, move your questions / concerns to that thread.

Being a first timer, I had a memorable and great time.

Having read the forum, and exchanged some PMs with travellers, I was very impressed about the accuracy of the reports. Also Zimzam summed it up nicely in post no. 472 just a little down. However, needless to say that being in The Gambia is better than reading about it.

First of all, Gambia is not a clear cut sex destination. By far, most tourists are there as families. Within the Kololi area there are. My guess. Around 4000 beds for tourists. Spread out over 2 squaremiles. 20 hotels, and 30 apartments. And Gambia offers all needed for a European winter break.

What made me choose Gambia over Kenya? Personal reasons, and from my research, better beaches, better food, a more centered night life, less crime, no political and less health issues.

As mentioned before most tourists are families, enjoying the beaches, the weather and food. But well, yes there are other tourists. Judging from the ratio at the hotel breakfast, there are 4 times more female sensual travellers, compared to male. But then again single male travellers might not be into having a joint breakfast with their playmates so much.

In terms of girls, there is a clear difference: Gambian girls or foreign girls. In my experience, the Gambian girls are all approachable, it is nice to spend time with, but P4P is not their piece of cake. They try, but they can't. On the other side, there are quite a few girls from Sierra Leone, Senegal, Liberia or Guinea who know what they are doing.

In terms of hunting grounds. After I was identified by the locals as a single and searching tourist, I got suggestions from reception, from security, my house cleaning. Or more stressful. From taxi drivers or regular bumsters on the street. And of course by the girls themselvs. You can't escape the offers. Also if you want to hunt down yourself, the chances of success are pretty high; so just go on.

Binis- is as described by the post of Zimzam. Nothing to add. A big show of full pros, starting at around 11 pm.

Wow. I only went once. On my third last day. It is full of intensity, which means bumsters, girls and the so called Bob Marley cigarettes. It's the place of the younger pros. Starts aroung midnite. Can be rewarding if you are ready to put up with the talking. I actually still think about my reward. And looking back, I should have been there more often.

Overall, I liked my vacation, the country and the Gambians very much. I spent quite a few time with Gambians, with no sexual intentions, and I enjoyed the company and an insight on their daily life. Friendly, talkative and thoughtful people. I wish them all the best. For sexual adventures, there might be better african countries though.

In Gambia, in case you in a straightforward sexual mood, go straight to the foreign girls from Sierra Leone, Liberia, Senegal, etc. Go to Binis and Wow.

One last note, it is a small touristic area. I was only there for a week. However, even in this time, I even was confronted with the rumor mill. E. G. One girl: 'I saw you with this girl, why haven't you picked me'; One friend: 'I saw your girlfriend with another guy', It didn't end there. Of course both statememts came with details and emotions.

Well, I would go there again. For questions feel free to PM.

I went to have a look there once and I ran out as fast as I came in.

I found it a horrible dark desolate bunker with ugly people inside and the sound was so bad I couldn't even recognize what music they were playing.

Maybe I went in on the wrong moment, or maybe I was too early.

But what I have noticed, while I was observing from next door, that the downstairs bar & terrace under Wow later at night has a continuous flow of girls who are coming & going checking out the situation there and are very obviously trying to catch the attention of potential customers.

Binis is managed and equipped to meet big city standards. Binis has almost the same professional line-up day after day. To me, that was the established girls with smartphones, skype and facebook presence, and a huge wardrobe with fancy clothes. After I was there a couple of times it became boring. At Binis you will also find expats, owners of local restaurants and owners of apartments. So a decent setting to get accustomed to the country. Binis looked to me as a safe retreat; somewhat selected girls and almost no bumsters.

Wow is not. It is a 'dark desolate bunker'. That is fair judgement. I spent less than an hour and left with a talent.

What made the Wow visit worthwhile for me, was the balcony to escape the bunker for a while, and the talent of some girls. Wow is more wild, more party, more newcomers, more part-time girls. At the same time more bumsters, more talking. As one expat said, the ladies night in Wow (should be Wednesday) is enough for phone number collectors. You get easily more numbers than you are able to remember the respective faces.

Wow looks unregulated, even though it probably is not. Bumsters and girls are actively looking for customers. That can be stressful. Let me put it this way, I would have felt uncomfortable if I went in there shortly after arrival in Gambia. Only after I knew my way around a little, I was able to enjoy Wow for what it is.

And yes, the downstairs bar is the most frequented meeting point for WG and bumsters. I never entered, but if you pass and look over you will be talked to by bumsters who stand at the door or waved to from girls sitting at the tables.

Hi guys,

I'm going to gambia for the first time, I've been to Thailand the Philippines and sosua a lot and want to try another place for a change.

But I cannot seem to find much info on sex in gambia, I'm staying at the kariba on the strip, I have emailed kariba to ask if I have to pay for o / and guest.

They have not replied, anyone know how much? And if I was to take a girl into the hotel in the daytime for s / t would that be ok?

Are there many girls available late may / early June.

Can anyone tell me the real going rate for sex, is it 1000 the l / t. 500 s / t? And are they just in the nightclubs, or can you pick them up in the street,

Beach or where else should I go besides the strip. I understand that it will be nothing like other places I've been, but as gambia is only 6 hours away.

I thought I'd give it a go, any advice you can give a first timer would be much appreciated.

I was in Kariba in February. This hotel is gf no worries.

You just have to pay the guard at the entrance 100 DH and the girl is registrated in a book.

The girl can stay as long as you want in the hotel. No further questions asked.

But she can't go breakfast with you.

The scene is not as big as in Thailand.

In fact the Senegambia strip is not as big as I thought before.

First day I went to Binnies but I didn't like the girls there.

They were older (30-35) and not very beautiful.

I picked up a girl from Ivory Coast for 800 DLS LT.

She was OK. BBBJ and covered sex. But she was little to shaggy for my taste.

Next day a juice vendor on the beach fixed a regular non pro girl for me.

She was not that attractive but big GFE all the way. She never asked for condoms.

She showed me around in her country. I payed for taxi, food and drinks.

At the end of her 3 days with me I payed her 1000 DLS.

Last two days I went to WOW disco. Here are more younger and beautiful girls than in Binnies.

But the atmosphere is more wild. Loud music, smell of soft drugs, rough men.

Felt little unsafe there. But met with a waitress who worked there.

VERY beautiful girl. Chat up with her and she asked me to go with her to the beach next day.

Next day I had my best day over there.

She was also very GFE and extremely sexy in her bikini at the beach.

Unfortunately it was my last day.

I went to the grocery's with her and pay her bill 3000 DLS.

But from June 3 till June 10 I go back for her!

She will rent an appartment for the two of us and we stay there.

Maybe we can met over there, CrazyMan123?

My flight is also 6 hours.

I was in Kariba in February. This hotel is gf no worries.True about the Karaiba, and guys working there constantly asking if they could get girls, but you won't need anyone's help. The season here runs from beginning of November to May. Low season now and was pretty quiet. At Bini's, French-speaking girls from neighboring countries and as previously noted they're mostly professionals. Elsewhere on the stretch of road from the Senegambia / Karaiba hotels out to the main intersection there are all kinds. Hard to say the best time of day to find something. You need to be looking constantly, move fast if you see one you like. Top quality pretty scarce though and it seems like they get snapped up and held onto. For the discos after midnight and later but mostly same ones every night. Girls (and older) hanging out on the beach to provide 'massage' afternoons. To tell the truth, the fugly old white euro female sex tourists are having more fun here than what we have to pick from. Can anyone say what this place is like at high season during peak activity, because Senegambia low season hardly worth the trip.

Hi guys,

I'm just back from my 1st trip to Gambia, its like going back in time, there is nothing much to do in Gambia but chill out. If you are looking for great sex, think twice, the girls will.

Try every trick in the book to get more money out of you, the first one I had long time I picked up at binnies, she was hot a 9, I asked her how much for l / t, she said, up to you, I told her.

I would pay 1000, dalasi she stayed till 5. 00pm next day, when I gave her the money she said this is no good its small money give me 2000, well for a quiet life I gave her another 500.

And said thats all I'm giving. Her name was Lucy about 25/6 small, good body, anyone know this one, she like all the girls I had was from Sierra Leone, even worse than her was my last girl

I stayed with her 1 week, she said the same thing, its up to you, I said it will be a 1000, after 1st night with her I gave 1000. The she took it and said, don't give me any more money, you are paying for my drinks, food etc, when we finish you can give me some pocket money. Ok I'm about to go home and I hand her 5000. The, she freaked out saying she had wasted her time with me.

Most men give her 3/4000. The a night, she wanted to fight and would not listen to anything I said, I had to get hotel security, I gave another 5000. The and got the guys to escort her out.

Of the Kariba Hotel. She was also a very hot girl 9/10 very slim, great wigs (most of them wear wigs) a 3 holer. Please avoid this one she was crazy, too much weed, to name and shame.

Her name is Naffi 26, everyone seemed to know her.

So would I return to Gambia, yes I would, you can realy relax there, but next time I will get the hotel guards to find me a non smoking non drinking gambian girl!

1500 for the hotel staff is a dream; round 800 is true.

At Crazy; I heard many stories like that; not one cent more what was.

Negotiated; security and out of my room. Do you know how much re 3000 D in Gambia?

I met one in a local restaurant; she asked for 500 ST; I agreed. In bed as we were nude.

She asked for 1500 cause I asked strict before I fucked her. Short screaming and 1 minute.

Later she was on the street with 7 D minibus money.

Small money; then I asked everytime how many thousands are in her pocket; not.

Even the 7 D for the minibus.

I'm too old for the tricks of 20 year old girls.

Happy Christmas all of you! There should be a massage parlor outside the Karaba that's not far from the entrance to the Karaba. There's also a massage service inside the hotel where you can go for a massage and try to negotiate extra services.

It shouldn't be hard to pick up girls anywhere in the strip outside the Karaba. Most girls who you'd meet at nightclubs / bars / restaurants would usually expect to go stay with you in your hotel room, but if you let the girl know up front that that's not possible, I'm sure she could either bring you back to her place or else take you to a nearby, inexpensive short-stay hotel.

Good luck!

Married man going to Gambia with my totally in sex uninterested wife. Names, addresses, prices to erotic massage, sex massage on the beach, brothels or places to find girls.

Forget the "brothels"; find a waiter / security man; 50-100 D Tip; he knows a lot of sisters. By yourself you are losing a lot of time.

Can you or Mighty Spearman tell me more.

I am a total beginner in Gambia.

It seems that you know a lot.

Can I ask someone at the hotel to get me a girl? Is that what you mean?

How much shall I pay the girl?

Do they have room to rent at the hotel or do the Girls have room outside?

Do you know if there is for example Tantra to find somewhere.

I have read about massage on the beach. Do you know about that to?

Sorry for my stupid questions, but thanks for helping me making my Gambia trip enjoyable.

It seems that Bini's is closed now, due to financial problems of the owner.

The scene now has moved to next door's Britannia
