there is a very virilant strain of VD in Liberia that you can get through a BBBJ. Be careful and use a condom for everything.

Actually, the mongering scene in Liberia is pretty good. Lots of girls and no jobs means that they are economic driven. $5 is a large amount of money in Liberia. The average wage is only about $50.00 a month.

Things have improved considerbly since last time I was there. More places open and a general sense of calm.

$10 is pretty much the going price. Not for anything I would be interested in, but some guys might go for the locals.

Thanks Retired

Thinking of going. But I've heard it's very expensive.

Would you tell us please if there are nightclubs, how much is a beer in one, how much is a basic room.

Hotels are few in number and expensive--above $100/night. You will pay in cash in advance for your entire stay upon arrival--no credit cards are accepted in Liberia. There are no land-line telephones in Liberia, only cell phones. It isn't easy to make a hotel reservation unless you have someone there to do it for you. U. S. Dollars are preferred, but take plenty of small bills. Getting a visa involves an invitation from someone in-country. It's almost impossible if you don't have a connection, usually with an international agency or a non-governmental organization. About the only flight from Europe is on Brussels Air, three times/week. It's very expensive. The few restaurants are also very expensive. There is virtually nothing to do in Monrovia or Liberia. Discouraged yet? Try Ghana or another country. Liberia is still recovering from 15 years of war.

WASHINGTON, DC - Delta Air Lines, the only US carrier to serve Africa, today jointly announced that it will expand its service to the continent with the introduction of the first and only flight between Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Monrovia's Roberts International Airport, Liberia (subject to government approval). The service, which will make a stop in Amilcar Cabral International Airport on Sal Island, Cape Verde (subject to government approval), will start in June 2009.

Hi friends,

I need some urgent informations about the actual infrastucture in Monrovia:

Are there some good hotels available (price is not so important)

Are their some good restaurants (mostly I don't like the african kind of cooking, but I like Africa)

Are their some nightclubs, discos or bars?

Thanks

There are some good places to eat at, go to the Mamba Point Hotel, they have a nice sushi bar plus an international cuisine restaurant, there is also the Cape Hotel located next door they have good cuisine as well. You can go with the Mamba Point Hotel, Cape Hotel or the ROYAL HOTEL.

For night life you can visit the 2 best clubs in town which are DEJAVU & THE EMBASSY.

Enjoy.

Furryscott,

This particular "Journalist" has drawn a WHOLE LOT of criticism for making this so called "Documentary". He has used old footage of the war (without giving credit to authors), and has sought out the very worst of Liberia. He will be lucky to get out of Liberia, and it is a shame for the way he has portrayed Liberia. This guy is a bad joke.

This video does not reflect reality in Liberia.

in liberia, the prostitution is illegal and its risky to take a girl to your place (home or hotel).

despite you can find some places with a lot of prostitutes (such as la noche, garden café or déjà vu) you better not to take them.

indeed, the mongers know that prostitution is illegal and they take advantage of it.

for instance once in your place they start yelling and making trouble around in order to alert people and then she complains that you own her more money or you promessed her more than what you gave. it happened that a girl even started to hit her face on the wall in order to accuse the client that she was abused and raped.

even if both parts agreed on a resonable price before reaching the place (50$ is good enough here), at the end you have to pay out some incredible amount of money in order to avoid trouble with the police and/or justice (which may go up to thousands usd).

Some night clubs are notorious for prostitution and armed robbery and should be avoided such as La Noche, Garden Café.

Parking on the streets ouside night clubs has led to vehicles broken in and expatriates being attacked and robbed.

"Déjà Vu":

It's the best night club in town. With a lot of expatriates (from UN or NGO) and it's the only place where you can find good looking ladies (all local girls are mongers). The parking lot is well guarded and safe (inside the compound).

Entrance price: 10$ on Fridays and 15$ on Saturdays. The fees include a drink.

Another good place is Red Lions. Live band on Saturday and the customers are more mature than the other places and bars around.

ThanksI guess your visit was nothing to write home to ISG about. It is ridiculous the number of guys who with less than 5 posts will ask for info, go on trip, and then contribute NOTHING to ISG forum. No hotel recommendations, no 411 on airport arrival or ground transportation or currency exchange, no info about chicas. NOTHING. Shameful! If you ask, then you should write something to close the loop, even if it is to say "trip got cancelled" or "I spent 90 percent of time around celibate missionaries, so my visit was a sober and dry one"! At least that is something.

The words of advice from Beruthi Livero are still valid today. Liberian chicks are hard core hustlers. Even the nicest ones can turn into royal bitches when back in room. So here is my advice, and it is coming on the heels of a very public encounter I had with an American escort / masseuse about a week prior (you would have thought I learned my lesson! I did because that encounter marked my retirement from the entire US scene) :

1. If you are looking for a place to monger and even if you had a decent experience with a Liberian girl elsewhere, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT even consider coming to Liberia!

2. If you happen to be in Liberia for other reasons, do not consider bringing any girl back to your room. Even if girl says, $20 I will do everything to make you feel good, even suck, fuck breasts, pussy, and ass, you will live to regret letting her come to your room. First, she will hit you up for the bribe money to pay the guards. Then after the deed is done, she will say "This is too small money for what I did for you! You in this nice hotel trying to make fool of little me. I said I wanted $125, but you in this nice hotel, you could give me $200 or $300 if I were a bigger girl." Then she would throw a tantrum stomping all over the room and sitting her now sweaty, stanky naked ass all over you chair and bed. She will moan about pain in her stomach from fucking you good or that she needs to buy this, that and the other, or that she wants / needs to buy X, Y, Z for name the special occasion. She will try to target where you keep your money, and regardless of what you and she had agreed upon BEFORE the act, she will allude to you just giving her as much as you have to give.

3. If you are foolish enough to let one Liberian come to your room, you are double dumb if you let two come to your room.

I am speaking from first-hand experience, and instead of a good night's rest, I am feeling tired and mad. Although I didn't give her what she ultimately wanted, I did end up giving her more than $20 just to get her out of my room. This is all a game for them since even after I had given her 3 times the agreed upon initial amount, she started questioning the real ness of the bills and that she needed more bribe payoff money and transport money. So King Dingaling will keep it zipped up and be happy to board that plane headed for home. If this isn't clear, just know being a monk or a celibate priest is what you need to strive for here. Don't come if you don't have to, and don't seek out chicks if you do come.

Liberia has put a bad taste in my mouth. Also, anyone wondering why there are no photos on this thread should know that Liberians have a problem with being photographed. Also, you might see your camera disappear. So no photos and on a Zero to 10 recommendation scale, I rate Liberia a NEGATIVE 10. Now time to find the positive aspects of Liberia! Haha!

okay, to be fair there were a few good things about a night i ultimately want to forget about.

1. the chicas has nice bottoms.

2. the chicas willingly got all showered up and clean at my suggestion.

3. the chicas extracted 3 nuts out of me in a 5 hour period. first one was by bbbj (no cim though) , and second following that was in puss (covered, of course). the other chica wanted a nut (covered) but i was too pooped to produce the third then. she goes away (not completely happy with gift) and i sleep a bit until other chica starts wanking me off, then sucks me. she wanted me to daty but she was smelling a tad bit musty so i declined. a vigorous fuck produces third pop, then i had to deal with the drama that unfolded an hour after that 3rd pop. thank goodness i didn't bang her sweaty ass or i might still be dealing with her at this very moment.

btw although i have taken calculated risks with going uncovered in certain other countries, that was never a consideration here since i felt (fingered) her vagina was exceptionally dry, which is a classic symptom of chicks with gonorrhea. that also explained her squirming and complaint about pain after the deeds. so who really wants to venture to liberia now? i know i don't. especially when you consider best hotels run over $150 per night.

After my terrible encounter, I swore off mongering in Liberia. But a day or so after that, I spied an attractive girl riding on back of a motorcycle. I closely followed until the motorcycle stopped. I approached her and exchanged phone numbers. She had a beautiful skin tone (8/10 in facial beauty) , nice ass (8/10) , but heavy Liberian accent made it difficult to understand her. I will finish rest of the story as I am suffering from TD right now (could have been pineapples I ate for breakfast!).

She went from begging me for 5 or 10 dollars for taxi (before we even hooked up) to saying she would suck my dick, give good massage, and do other stuff for 20 or 25 dollars. Pontificate if you must but I will laugh the day you hook up with a dry puss chick and just think problem can be solved with Astroglide or KY. Better strap up!

I still would not recommend any mongers to visit Liberia just for the sake of mongering as it can be more expensive in terms of accommodations and food, and your experience could be drastically different from one chica to the next, especially if any of the chicas you get with are semi-pro to full on pro types. While getting around the city, I did observe a few good looking ladies wearing very sexy jeans or skirts. I was told they are advertising and are available if you step to them. I think that was what worked in my one hook up experience even though I wasn't cognizant of this tidbit of information.

I actually won't go into too much detail about my hookup experience other than to say if I ever find myself in Liberia again, I would not waste my time and money going out to any nightclubs. I would instead hit up any young lovely on the street (during the day) , invite her back to my place, order room service, and let the fun begin. My experience doing that set me back as follows: 41 USD for food and drink for her and her sister (yes I was tempted to go for a menage trois as her sister was fine) and 20 USD for taxi money. And she was happy and grateful when I gave it to her. So I guess your experience will be determined by whether you meet up with a genuine non-pro who is appreciative of you or a money hungry, manipulative semi-full on pro that will attempt to squeeze you for as much as she can get away with. Liberia. Check. Now back to my usual haunts of Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Togo, etc.

There was one house keeper I thought was fuckable but she only cleaned my floor once, though I always saw her around most days. The outfits they wear offer easy access if they are willing. The bellhop was willing to hook me up with chicas but I had to focus more on work as well as deal with TD. My experience in other countries has been hotel staff are available, but our hookups took place away from their work place and my primary accommodation (Ghana and Sierra Leone). Beware though! MPH has cameras on each floor and the entry hallway. Plus, the manager has a habit of popping in to check on the room cleaners. But I did notice that one of the cleaners would hang out in one of the rooms down from mine. If it wasn't for the smoke and musk smell, I might have pursued something with the lady who mostly cleaned my room.

A female employee arranged two of her colleagues for me at another hotel on the same street as the MPH on another visit.

The bellboys (upstairs) at the MPH also connected me twice.

But staff are cheaper and certainly cannot give trouble. The Casino at MPH has some 20 chicas all of them "f*able'. I wish I can find a way to hook up with one or two.

Thanks Mate

Thanks MateJust approach them with a hotel related question."I don't like my room. Which floor has the best rooms?"

Then ask them something about local night spots."Which nightclub is the best?"

Then of course you tell her you need her to take you there because you seem like a very nice person. This is where the approach part comes in. You don't ask if they can take you there (needy). You tell her she is going to take you there, period (in charge). And before she can even question it, you give a reason. Any old reason."Because you are so nice. Because you are from here. Because I love your hairstyle" (confirmation). Then, if there's still hesitation,"do I have to ask the girl who works on my floor?" (options).

Her autopilot reactions are being steered by you. Unless she's a recent born-again or seriously married, getting a YES shouldn't be a problem. ; ]

I did go back to Monrovia and to the Mamba Point Hotel. I found out it was not too difficult to talk to the girls cleaning the rooms. One declined to roll in the hay on religious grounds. But strangely was willing to bring a friend from town which I declined. She then advised which of her colleagues might be available. Again I did not show obvious interest but insisted she was the one to be. On my next visit I will press her further, along with her recommended friends on her blind side.

Hey fellow mongers.

I have just arrived in Monrovia for work, but I have not been able to understand well how the mongering world works here... Sadly, there are no recent updates on this thread. I am staying at Royal hotel, but are not too excited about getting one of the bargirls to my room. I would prefer to find a girl outside of the hotel.

Is there any massage place where I can try my luck and get a happy ending or FS?

Otherwise, any brothel that I can visit? I am used to Africa so not too picky.

Any information would be welcome and I will ensure to report my experience.

Thanks.

Zef.

Was in Monrovia for work last week. Stayed at the Golden Key Hotel on Robertsfield Highway for $160 a night. Old but decent and clean hotel with complimentary breakfast. Very girl friendly as with all the hotels in Monrovia. Visited the Hill Top Bar on Broad street. Apparently a lot of government officials hang out here. Lots of nice girls and all available. The owner of the bar is a woman too. Pick a nice 20 year old. Very nice and skilled in bed but weak blow job skills. See attached picture. Sorry no nudes as she adamantly refused.

She mentioned club theéjà vu and club temptation as other venues one can meet cute girls. Walking around I saw some nice and curvy women. Liberian women are incredibly curvy and sexy.

It would be interesting for us as members of this forum, to know about the influence of the outbreak of Ebola in the country on human relationship and specially how it is affecting our sport.

Are girls scary? Are mongers scary? Do girls still accept proposals and do men do proposals?

Let us know, please!

Obligatory Disclaimer:

One of my girlfriends is a native-born Liberian who was moved to Minneapolis during the refugee crisis 11 years ago. She has a US passport but not a Liberian passport (yet). This was her first trip home in 9 years. I'm with her this trip so all I can do is report from the outside.

Liberia:

Very poor with a GNP if about $500/ year. The families I met live in concrete houses without running water or electricity. Most are living on less than $100 a month. So far (day 3) I have only seen white faces at the airport & my hotel (a gazillion NGOs here). And I've walked among or seen 10,000 people on the street so far. This is a walking or crammed-mini bus culture. Probably not good if you are a prejudiced white guy. They think they speak English but I'll just say it ain't so. Yes the educated ones (a distinct minority) have good English skills. Most have two or three languages Liberian English & maybe their original tribal language plus American English that is difficult to understand. You will have to concentrate to understand them in American English. You'll be totally lost in Liberian English. So far I have felt very comfortable and very welcome.

Crime:

It's a poor country; act accordingly. Nothing flashy; protect your valuables in a hotel safe. All the locals say the same.

Money:

The Liberian Dollar. Right now about 88 $ Liberian to $1 USD. Everybody takes & prefers USD. None of the bills would be recirculated in the USA they are all filthy. I changed $1000 US for local money when I arrived. My stack of Liberian dollars was about 6 inches high. Amazing. No need to change money or maybe only a small amount for tips, though tips are not typically given by the locals.

Hotels:

Expensive. First night was at the Palm Springs Hotel. $180 a night with a casino. It would be difficult to impossible to sneak a girl inside; I don't know how they would respond.

Now at the Royal Grand Hotel. Arguably the best in Liberia. Normal price is $250 a night (USD). Through my contacts I got a decent reduction. They all say they have high speed internet. Not true; excruciatingly slow & most attachments download corrupted.

You cannot book any hotel in Liberia online. None. The best you can do if you don't have a contact is to e-mail the hotel & work it that way. Trivago with their 250+ sites shows zero options for Liberia. So, if the RGH is outside your budget, research for a list of hotels in Liberia but skip the booking sites. I found one site that listed about 4 pages of hotels with e-mails but damned if I know what I did with that site; it was by an arm of the government promoting business, I think. Then e-mail them directly. I e-mailed 4 hotels before my GF confirmed I had a room. Two responded 1-2 days later. So you'll have to plan well ahead of time.

Flights here are expensive & long. If you want to combine countries it's difficult. My GF started off in Ghana then for $800 US got a flight from Accra to Africos to Sierra Leone to Monrovia, Liberia. I'm not sure of her return route. I went from Louisiana to Houston to Chicago to Brussels to Monrovia. Quicker to go to Thailand. My return route is Monrovia to Dakar, Sierra Leone to Brussels to Frankfurt to Houston then home. Pain in the ass.

Girls:

They are either fat (older) or quite voluptuous. Big tits & asses. Almost always. They dress sexy and seem quite open to foreigners. By foreigners I mean chubby old white men like me (63 y / o). Although I have a lot of time alone here I haven't pursued any but they are quite easy to strike up a conversation with and to flirt with. I thought many if not most of the young girls (say in their 20's) were quite pretty some flat out gorgeous.

The girls come in all shades of black, though the darker shades tend to be more prevalent.

How to have fun:

My new friend here is the head of security at the hotel. PM me for contact info. Bottom line: there are many clubs & bars where girls are available. They will want a lot like $200 but most can be had for $50 for the night (all USD). Be careful of the thieves & scammers. He has offered to assist in selecting the girls and / or talking with them to protect the monger (that's his job security of his customers). This is important he said there is no problem checking a girl in with you particularly if he has helped "clear" her. They do not want problems in the hotel so only one girl at a time. I had no problem checking in with my Liberian GF.

Additionally I think no westerner would be comfortable taking public transportation or renting a car in this country. Taxis are few & far between. So hire a car & driver. Also available at my hotel for about $50 for the day. If I were to return solo & not have my GF's sister driving me everywhere I wanted to go I would stay at the RGH (Royal Grand Hotel), head down to the (protected) outdoor smoking area & ask for a car & driver then negotiate my deal.

Bring an unlocked phone. You can get a local sim card (I don't know how much) but one of the boys there will take care if it for you. Then you can buy time for get this - $1. 00 US for five days of unlimited calling (to cell phones in Liberia only).

Finally I'll try to add additional information as the week goes on.

Now at the Royal Grand Hotel. Arguably the best in Liberia. Normal price is $250 a night (USD). Through my contacts I got corrupted. The girls come in all shades of black, though the darker shades tend to be more prevalent. My new friend here is Bottom line: there are many clubs & bars where girls are available. They will want a lot like $200 but most can be had for $50 .Can't book hotels on line, the girls come in shades of black, filthy dollar bills. Sounds like this is your first time in Africa. Any issues getting around off the beaten track what with the recent epidemic situation?

Thanks again.

Can't book hotels on line, the girls come in shades of black, filthy dollar bills. Sounds like this is your first time in Africa. Any issues getting around off the beaten track what with the recent epidemic situation? My first time to Western Africa. I've been to about 80 countries & I've seen a lot; little surprises me anymore. I was trying to give a picture of Monrovia for those interested. I've had no issues in traveling but I'm not much of a tourist person. I've seen most everything I have an interest in so I have no real interest in leaving the creature comforts (of Monrovia.

The Ebola issues are a thing of the past; it's now against the law to eat most Bush meat including monkeys & bats, much to the dismay of most of the locals but they seem to understand. There are igloo coolers everywhere with water & clorox for cleaning hands & most everybody does.

I'm saddened by the poverty but overall I'm very comfortable here.

Had dinner & drinks last night at Heinekin. Dinner for 4 girls & drinks for 5 totaled a little less than $100 US. Not good for mongering.

GF used Ivory Coast Airlines from Ghana to Liberia & they broke open the lock on her bag and stole a bunch of clothes (used) and shoes (used). The airline was essentially useless in compensating her. So, my recommendation is to avoid that airline.

Hopefully I'll check out Deja Vu tomorrow evening.

Bought a bunch of African shirts for my GF in Costa Rica why su amigas. Went to the factory in the center of Monrovia. Again, the only white face in thousands. Never felt uncomfortable & got the shirts for $15 & $20 US. The same shirts are going for $50 in Minneapolis. Not cotten but Lapis (sp? An African fabric. Anyway, she's happy & I just have to cart them back.

Went to Lila Brown last night (Saturday). Directly across from the Mamba Point Hotel. Arrived at 10:30, left at 11:30. Nice restaurant / bar filled with a mix of locals & ex-pats. Saw two possible WGs but no guarantees.

After that Club Gossip, the old Deja vu. Had originally arrived at 10:00 & was WAY too early. Returned at 11:45 & the place was quite full. The place ultimately got packed around 12:30. Not my thing: $10 US cover, $4 beers (okay), $15 margaritas (not okay). Music was loud; normal conversations were not possible. It was dark until about 1:30 when they turned on the strobes & dance floor lighting. At that point you could see the heavy smoke in the air and actually see the person sitting across from you. Service was good, no complaints there. There were several WGs inside (or maybe just local gals dressed sexy for a night out dancing? Had a few girls openly flirt with me inside but I was with my GF & it wouldn't be possible to talk to them anyway, unless you both headed to the restrooms (there's a small lighted common area between the two). The ladies room door is always open & I had several flirt with me from inside the ladies room (at the wash basin) as I walked by & peered inside.

Upon leaving at 2:30, outside was pretty packed as well. Cars were parked on both sides of the road for about a block. More importantly, there were many girls outside (lacking the $10 cover, I suppose) and even though I was trailing my GF as we left several gals openly hit on me. Some were quite pretty.

In conclusion: if you're young, get there after 11:30 & dance your heart out. If those days are behind you, hit the place around 2 in the morning (Fri / Sat / Sun nights; maybe others) & don't go in. The street outside has lots of opportunities & the parking lot has lots of opportunities. I would chat up a bunch of girls & take numbers, then maybe pick one out for the night. I would not pay more than $50 for the night.

Interesting. How much is a residence permit a year? Retired. How much is a decent house or one or two BR Apartment. I heard as everything is Dollar based is expensive? Do you know Robertsport supposed to be nice there?Well normally as I heard for 1 year it's 350 $, but my own expired over a year so I had to pay with penalty 800 per year so I paid 1600 USD for 2 years (including the expired 1 year.) It's always good to be legal but once you go all around with car no immigration officer will stop you, it's only a headache when you walk around by feet (especially around town) it can be embarrassing sometimes, who would like to be disturbed when you ate going with your girl to the guest house. Wanting to see your residence permit and passport (if not at least the photocopy it'd preferable). The immigration officers like to disturb most of the times for small thing (pocket money).

Well most decent decent houses (apartments) in foreign (first class) quality is pretty expensive anything from 800 to 1500 $ (USD) a month especially around nice decent places in Mamba Point or Sinkor. Most of those places Lebanese are owning and renting it in absurd prices to foreigners, companies, business people etc. But in Liberian standards you can easily find pretty decent places even from the same areas such Sinkor, Mamba Point, Congo Town etc anything around 150 to 300 $ (USB) a month surely not fornicated. But with 1000 $ (USD) or less you can buy pretty much a flat screen, tablet, bed, chairs, fan etc.

If you like quite places, less people, more relaxed place I highly recommend you Hotel Africa but you will surely need a car to go around its a little distance to town and the most thing I don't like about there is the current business. No LEC there, so everybody on generator business.

About Robertsport (The capital of Grand Cape Mount), I don't really go there much but I heard lots of positive things about there. Especially the beaches supposed to be very nice?

But again no LEC on that side, it's more a quiet area.

Clearly your mind was somewhere else when you were typing this.Surely not,

Like I said those very fancy (luxury) places are in very absurd prices.

Don't fall into this traps unless you have plenty money to burn. There are all around nice houses, you just need to search and search. And when you are going to look for a crib never somehow up yourself especially if they see you are a foreigner or white skin person prices can double or even triple up. Send a native friend if possible.

I was looking for a crib around Mamba Point (walking distance to Capitol Room) several months ago, the person said the crib is 50 $ but when the landlord appeared and saw me as a foreigner she said immediately 100 $ per month, I asked how much would be the last price she said 90 $. The place was surely cracked and old but with small renovation it could look decent. I rented many older apartments before and renovated myself.

So surely Mamba Point is a expensive place in Monrovia, if you want very decent houses in Western standards including hot water, security etc it can cost you 1000 $ + a month but in my opinion there is no need to spend such high amounts just for a apartment. For those foreigners who doesn't eat African food it can be very expensive as well (buying from the Supermarket at the time).

The same thing for Sinkor but IMO it's a bit cheaper than Mamba Point.

With proper search and luck you can find a decent (with ties on the floor) 2 bedroom crib in Sinkor (Liberian standards). Between 150 - 300 $ per month you will get pretty decent cribs (apartments). Like a said if you go to look for a apartment alone as a total stranger they can easily say for a 150 $ crib 300 or 500 $.

Connection is very important.

You can get by if you don't eat out in fancy Restaurants and limit your imported foodstuff with 500 US a month. And that includes women and some cervejas. As I heard the life is much cheaper than here in Liberia, it's also very close to a more developed African country like Senegal so guess the current is there more stable right? Here in Liberia current business can be really a headache most times. The LEC can come and go quiet often so if possible it's good to keep a generator for emergency but am not really into generator business, it's quick to spoil if you don't know how to treat it and if you use it constantly. But Gambia is a Muslim (%90+) country right?

About food, well yea 500 $ is more than enough for 1 or 2 persons for eating and drinking and a little fun around for a month.

About chicas, they are caliente & ricas chocolate, finding all types here. Very open and friendly.

When are you planning to come over?

Gambia there is power most of the time. Couple of hours a day the power goes. Moneywise the Dalasi is on a slide so its getting cheaper by the month. Yes 90% plus Muslims. Maybe you share some info about the nightlife. Like venues prices Security etc.

Thanks.

Neddy.
PS. Jack up at least 25 posts. Than you can communicate.About the nightlife, well actually there are lots of places to hang around town (Monrovia).

I would highly recommend those places;.

As for fancy more decent but also more expensive places:

Celavi Night Club (It can change the name quiet often formerly known as Gossip or De Ja Vu), it's right around Sinkor 24th street. I been there a few times back in 2016, the place is pretty empty still 00:30 but can get really packed especially when a guest artist comes. Entrance fee was 10 $ that time, guess must be around the same now, VIP maybe 20 or 25 $. I don't go there ever since but back in 2016 a stout was 3 $.

Club Destiny around Bay Pas, same entrance fee, a beer is around 3 $.

Capitol Hill around Mamba Point, it's a pretty decent club, I heard you need certain dress code to go in, been there once lots of girls there in the weekend. A beer around 3 yo 4 $.

Red Lion is right in town, a little bar but it has life band and it can be pretty packed in the weekends. Entrance same 10 $ and you can have 2 drinks.

Boulevard Palace it's a 5 star hotel in the main road around 13th street Sinkor, the place will make you forget that you are in Africa, you will feel probably in Dubai LOL. It has a restaurant and bar where lots of slay queens (elite hookers) appear. A beer is around 5 $.

Royal Hotel in Sinkor 15th street right on the main road, it's another fancy hotel it has inside restaurant and on the roof top a bar. You can find here as well slay queen's.

Musu Spot it's on the main road as well in Congo Town. It's a open bar, it can be very packed in dry season in weekends. Drinks and food are again a bit expensive, a beer around 3 $, few piece of chicken and fries 10 $. As I said the place can be packed in weekends so many slay queens can be there for a hunt.

Palm Spring Hotel, also located in Congo Town, it's a hotel but it has it swimming pool area where girls can come to chill or also a casino and a bar where there where they have life ban in the weekends. Entrance it's around 15 $ + a drink, for any other additional drink you pay anything from 3 to 6 $, surely if you open a bottle it can be more expensive.

Golden Gate, Angler's, Farmington Hotel, Fusion, Saj House etc are other decent places to go.

About Local entertainment centers (personally my favourite) since drinks are a lot cheaper in normal price, where they have offers such 4 (beers) for 5 $.

The local entertainment centers are much more packed than the more decent places since the prices are cheaper.

Old Folks (right in Airfield) can be extremely packed in the weekends, also Friday and including Wednesdays (lady's night), the hit ratio is %100, lots of hookers are all around. If you sit and drink alone in the table they will come from their self to sit around you and ask you for a drink. Most of the girls here are available to get for the whole night anything around 5 to 20 $. Many cheap guest houses are around for 10 or 20 $ still morning. The area is not very safe though many hit & runners awaiting you in the entrance. Some can put a eye on you still you get drunk and leave the place. So if you ever go there leave your expensive phone at home / hotel and don't put more than 50 $ in your pocket if you want to only hang there.

Mamuz (It's across the bridge on the other side in Bushroad Island in Brewsterville.) I really like the place it's much likely like Old Folks but with less danger around. It's a open place and it can be very packed during the weekends (guess on Sunday nights even more) A beer is around 1. 50 $ and you can get there nice roast meat or chicken too for just 5 $ or less. The only problem is transportation so it's better you have your own car if you go there because if you try to hire a car late in night especially as a foreigner it can be costly. But I forgot to tell right opposite Mamuz it's Wawuzu a guest house and bar, more decent than Mamuz but a little more expensive so that's why everyone choices Mamuz since its cheaper and more pack. But I would recommend if you don't have a car and you want to chill in Mamuz, pick a chick from Mamuz and carry her to Wawuzu I think to get a room still morning it's around 25-40 $ (short time, 1 hour 10 $).

Now about the security:

To be very honest I don't go night out, walk around (wokobo as they say herw) since almost a year now.

Recently there were elections, many people who have money left the country to America or Europe etc from possibly civil war fear (guess they were not so wrong), since the new president is elected passed more than 5 months but no change has come besides it become much worst the rate and prices are extremely high right now, many people are crying and complaining about the prices and rates. Business going slow, am sure it effected the nightlife too but who has money doesn't really care about it.

The crime and killing rate has also increased in those few months, I think if things continue like this bad bad things might follow up.

Before the Supermarkets was open still 9 to 10 pm but now days they can close at 7 to latest 8 pm.

It's been a couple years since I've been in West Africa and I'm starting to get the urge to return. Here's a hot little Liberian (Tete) I met in Ghana, her family was at the Budubaram Liberian Refugee Camp just outside of Accra. Tete was a whole lot of fun, great body, great personality and funny as hell, she should have been a comedian. She returned to Monrovia about 5 years ago and I've lost track of her, has anyone seen her? She is about 28 years old now.

Tete is on the right.

EDIT - uploaded an old video of Tete and the gang chilling out over a beer.

Still in Disneyland (Europe) until End September.Airfield is not bad but lots of growna (street) men & women there so especially in the night its very high risk to be a victim of a hit & runner. They will look to snatch your wallet or phone away. So I don't highly recommend Airfield, it's also a bit inside from the main road.

I would highly recommended those areas to stay:

Sinkor (it has streets from 1 to 24) Sinkor has it growna areas too but it's alright compared to many other places. I lived in 21. Street for a while and it's cool. I used to come home in late hours. It's generally safe. I think the best part of Sinkor on the land side is anywhere from 15 to 22. Those streets are walking distance to Sajj House, Fusion, Royal Hotel, Boulevard Palace etc. I was walking to Airfield when I used to go Old Folks from 21. Street it's around a 10 minutes walk but not recommended to walk in late hours. All around Sinkor are bike boys that can carry you anywhere for small money, in the nights the bikers can double or triple the price though.

Mamba Point, never lived there but hang out a lot. It appears to me like the most decent part of Monrovia. They got even apartments there in Europeanstandards but like I said in the previous posts in very absurd prices. But with a proper search and luck you can still find middle class places anything around 150-300 $.

The good thing about Mamba Point it's right around town so you can reach to all clubs there by walking or transportation less than a dollar or 2.

Capitol Room is also right in Mamba Point, 1 of the elite clubs in town.

Congo Town (next after Sinkor).

It's also a alright area but unlike Sinkor not so good for walking around but near to places such Chinese Club, Mu Spot or Palm Spring etc.

Accommodation in Monrovia is ridiculously overpriced. I stayed at the no frills City Hotel (90 USD) in the heart of the city. The hotel is perfectly girl-friendly. No ID required.

The currency is basically the USD. Local currency LRD is only used as change.

Smoking in public places is forbidden in Liberia, which I perfectly understand. However, in Liberia, public places include the streets, which is utterly ridiculous. All the while, plenty of people were smoking in true public places, such as The Red Lion, Sajj House & Fuzion Restaurant. Liberian politicians must be total flaming lunatics!

My final night in Monrovia was a slow Sunday night. After last night's debacle, I wasn't motivated to go out. I had no idea where to go anyway. I was counting the hours until I could get out of this hellhole, until I received a message from Miss B. She didn't want to go out. She just wanted to come to my room. She was welcome to! :) Miss B brought make-up & outfits for the photo shoot she wanted. She was still truly passionate in bed.

Despite the happy ending, I have a very low opinion of Liberia as a P4P country. The nightlife is limited. Liberian girls are scam artists. After my short visit, I can only confirm Jiggydus' conclusion: Liberia gets an avoid rating!

Going out solo on Saturday night, my 1st stop was the nearby Red Lion. The doorman informed me they had live music on Saturday nights, and wanted to sell me 2 tickets for 10 USD. The regular price for a beer is only 2 USD, and I had no intention of forking out the extra cash. Since I was early, and only came to have dinner, I got in without paying the cover charge.

People started trickling in as the live band was setting up. The 4 man band with a male singer started performing around 10.30 PM. They mostly played love songs. While the guy had a great voice, it was weird to hear a man sing Whitney & Adele classics. By the time I left, the only unaccompanied females I'd spotted were a table with 3 fat girls, and an older chick that was after me. I escaped her claws!

At Ce La Vi (aka Déjà Vu aka Gossip), there was only 1 parked car on a Saturday night. Once again, I didn't set foot inside. Arrived at Sajj House, I was informed the kitchen was already closed. As previously mentioned, every night but Friday, Sajj is just a boring old restaurant. The staff told me the action was at Fuzion Restaurant on Saturday night.

Fuzion turned out to be a horrible place. They pack the tables as closely as possible to attain maximum capacity. There was no space for a dance floor. The live music was simply awful. Nevertheless, there wasn't a free seat in the house.

The all-seat restaurant setup wasn't exactly conducive to meeting new people. After ordering a beer at the bar (3 USD + tax), the older chick from The Red Lion was after me again. I still wasn't interested. :p Eventually, I spotted a skinny cutie with blue dreadlocks by the bar. Rita's face looked rather stern, but she was doable. After I bought Rita a drink, she was French kissing me & rubbing her sexy body against me. I figured I might have a winner.

As Fuzion started emptying, Rita wanted to leave with me. She asked for 50 USD. After she agreed to pictures (fully dressed; with face), I took her home. Back in my room, I wasted little time before getting my camera out. Rita suddenly wouldn't allow any pictures, and kept repeating: "Why do you want to take pictures?" I couldn't even be bothered to reply, except to say that she'd explicitly agreed to pictures. When Rita started saying that 50 USD only entitled me to a massage, not sex, it became abundantly clear that this witch was nothing but a scam artist.

I was totally pissed off by now. I called Rita a liar, and told her that I hated fucking liars. I calmly told her I didn't even wanna fuck her anymore, then yelled at her to get the fuck out of my room. I threw generous taxi fare onto the hallway floor, then slammed the door behind her. Good riddance!

As I went outside to meet my Tinder date Miss B, I couldn't find her. I was looking for a girl standing outside the hotel gate, when she was actually inside the gate… waiting inside her car! No, it wasn't a taxi. It was her car, and she was driving!

Our 1st stop was Ce La Vi, the newest incarnation of Déjà Vu. The fact that there were only 3 cars in the parking lot was an indication the club was deserted, even after midnight on a Friday night. We decided against checking it out.

Our next stop was Sajj House, a restaurant with a thatched roof that turns into a disco on Friday night (and ONLY on Friday night!) Here, it was as difficult to find a parking spot as it was to find 2 available chairs. With a mixed crowd consisting of locals, white expats & Arabs, Sajj was absolutely packed. Beers cost 3 USD + 10% tax.

There were lotsa sweaty bodies on the dance floor. While you can't assume every girl is a hooker, some were definitely available. Of course, I already had a date. After shaking our bon-bon on the dance floor, Miss B drove back to my hotel, and joined me in my room. :)

Even though she was tired & sweaty, I managed to snap a few pictures of Miss B's pretty face. My shower cubicle wasn't designed for 2 people, but we somehow managed to make it work. Her hard body with upwardly mobile tits was fun to play with. After licking her pussy got Miss B horny, she rode my dick like a tigress in heat.

As we woke up early afternoon, I was still unsure what Miss B's deal was. Since she had a car, she definitely wasn't a poor girl. I was actually relieved when Miss B asked for money. Giving her 50 USD earned me the freedom to try & improve on my Liberian tally. ;)

Liberia added. Country #92.

On Thursday night, I headed to The Red Lion. My 1st priority was having dinner. The menu was limited, and the service was extremely slow, but the boneless chicken turned out to be excellent. As I walked in, a few guys were watching Europa League football on the plethora of TV screens. Apart from my fat waitress, there wasn't a single female. I got a little excited when a cute girl walked in the door. She turned out to be an extra waitress, and wasn't nearly as cute from up close as from afar. Later at night, quite a few local couples showed up. No unaccompanied girls whatsoever! Wasted night.

Miss B super-liked me on Tinder. Yet, she wasn't responding when I was looking for a date on a Thursday night. We started chatting after I returned to my lonely hotel room. She wasn't exactly surprised I couldn't find a date in The Red Lion, as it mainly caters to couples. She promised to meet me tomorrow evening, though.

According to the website of the Liberian embassy in Brussels (http://www.embassyofliberia.be/embliberia.php?id=services), Liberia requires an invitation letter. To me, this impossible condition simply means tourists aren't welcome. When I called the embassy, however, it turned out an invitation letter wasn't required for a tourist visa. A hotel reservation was sufficient. ;) It took a week, but getting a Liberian visa was basically straightforward.

But as a total stranger without to hang around with any good local or a bit experienced foreign friend its pretty complicated. I don't think it's only in Liberia but in whole Africa, it's they see you as a total stranger they will always put up the prices, even the huku joes (hookers) especially the ones you pick up from more fancy places.

By the way am impressed how good Tinder worked out for you and get directly a jue (woman) who comes to your feet with her own card. Yes some of the women around middle class have cars most likely from their boyfriends from overseas or ex boyfriends etc.

I don't know how some of you guys find Tinder as a top fishing spot, I mean to open there a profile and message around you to pay first with credit card. How about the women there? They need to pay for messaging around too?

I tried it out a few times years ago but to me it looks like a scam site especially after seen it's a site with payment.

Facebook is far far far the best spot to make quick contacts for right away meetings and that's all for free. The selection of girls is on FB as well very very wide.

I was the past Saturday night out too in town to watch the UEFA Champions League Final, after I went to Red Lion as well still 22:00, I saw there a few whites don't know if you were there in the same time as well.

I don't really highly recommend for people to hook with the slay queens around fancy places, they will try their best to get as much as they can from you. Especially they see you are a newcomer and staying in a hotel. Some guys that have money don't really hesitate to pay a girl 100+ $. Some of the new coming business men or Lebanese with plenty money can really spoil those young slay queens.

You are most likely to have protected sex anyway so it's much cheaper to find a local hooker from a local bar.

Sex is ridiculously cheap in the country if you are a true hunter, there are lots of younger girls that are willing to do action for even 5 $.

Oh by the way I agree even the average hotel that is around 2 to 3 stars hotel standards are around 80-100 $ range, maybe in many other countries the price would be only 20 or 30 $, as I remember the hotels around Kilimanjaro / Tanzania was around that range.

But again as a total stranger and short visitor there is nothing to do but stay & pay on those hotels. I prefer a guest house more than a hotel though, almost the same room and around the half of the price (guest houses around Sinkor is 35 to 50 $) they are inside a fence so the security is likely the same too.

About the money order yes we use USD especially when we trading or buying bigger things but the part you said LD (Liberian Dollar) is only for change isn't true, local transportation (car pay), when you go to the market to buy food and or other stuff, up to the local entertainment centers and bars the prices of the drinks and food is always by LD.

Maybe I should point out that I was in Monrovia May 2 - May 7 (not going out the 1st night). Thus, I arrived before any of Gbanaman's reports were published.

I did read Jiggydus' reports, though. The Liberian girls' reluctance to allow pictures may only be worrisome to an amateur photographer like me. The scam artists should worry any white visitor. There may also be a link between the two. Scammers don't want any evidence in the form of pictures. ;) Anyway, I can confirm both threats are real.

I've visited 35 black African countries, and have never needed a local guide. For a white man in Africa, finding pussy is easy & scams are extremely rare. Except in Liberia. ;)

Tinder is absolutely free! No CC required. It's a great app for white men in Africa. ;)

Happier stories to follow on the Nigeria forum...

Some of the most accommodating, engaging women in the world were to be found here. Liberia was my 38th African country and while bodies of the 16 extant tribes (plus Libero-Americans and Congos) were not all petite, all the ones I experienced over six nights were under 48 kilos and they were firm, fit, and healthful (age range 19-25). Not a scammer in the bunch, although each date warned me that not all girls were like them and to watch out for the others. (got to scare off the competition).

Arriving on a Wednesday evening and staying downtown, it was essential to get out on Wednesday as it's Ladies Night in Monrovia. Girls this night go out alone, and with girlfriends. It's their pickup night. Also, on other nights, it was said that some clubs in town will refuse entry to unescorted ladies. Red Lion on Wednesday karaoke featuring reggae mostly was thankfully free of NGO types who you might expect to turn up at a place like this (maybe they go there on weekends or the whoppimg $10 entry for two drinks scared them off) but was full of unescorted girls. They took turns dancing (grinding pelvis) until I collected their numbers, while leaving with one. Over the next several days and evenings, two others beat a path to my hotel room. I found another date at Miami Beach in the afternoon and would have loved to go back there at night but didn't get the chance, and she insisted (of course) it was way too dangerous. Another afternoon, walking down Ashmon St. , (in the direction of the RC Church and rectory) near the intersection of Newport there's a bar full of girls: Half-a-dozen were sitting in front to choose from, others calling out from the second floor terrace. While most of these seemed a bit professional, my selection impressed enough to do an encore the next afternoon. Using Badoo is inefficient or an outright waste of time although you get a ton of response, they seldom look as good in the flesh. Better to just do what you do at home: start talking to and hitting on anything that catches your eye. Liberian girls are some of the easiest in the world, and confident they don't know how to say no (or ask for money: I never gave more than $25 except once where it took an extra $5 taxi money to get rid of her friend).

Just to verify previous posts, yes there's music and action at Sajj House on Friday. Fuzzion was jammed on Saturday night and girls hanging around the parked cars. This was the one place where you could pick up an 18-20 year old. The top floor bar at Grand Royal had something available every night (except Monday, they're closed.) For weekend, it's ideal to stay in this part of Sinkor for the action. Royal Hotel (though not the greatest) was $90 in case Royal Grand is beyond your budget. Recommended by the girls was hotel named A'Laguna. Another week there and I' would have been out to the places by the airfield for sure. One thing though were these constant warnings about danger at night, backstreet boys, robberies, etc. That I never had satisfactorily verified.

Found this 20-yr old gem at Tropicana Beach. She didn't get selected to work at the resort for the day but was perfectly happy to show me around.

We spent the day together at Marshall Beach.

Since I loved playing with her perky boobs, she took her bra off and gave me full access. She loved posing!

Unfortunately, she had to go home to her grandma's place and could not stay the night with me. It was an awesome day all around!

She came over mid-morning for another fun day at the beach.

We started the day with breakfast on the beach and intensely sweaty three rounds of sex.

There she is proudly showing how many times she gets fucked in each session. Popped the first one too fast standing up, the second one was a good long doggy fuck that left her panting, and the third round (after a cold water shower to cool down) was in missionary. Oh those perky boobs got sucked big time and she got quite a spanking too!

She was actually sore afterwards and had a funny walk all through the day. My driver remarked on it and so did the young fellow at the beach bar as she was walking away towards the bathroom. I explained that she was OK, just got a little too much jigi jigi in the morning.

When she came back, I asked her to show the sign of three to the driver and bartender. Which she did without realizing the context. The two guys laughed hysterically for the next few minutes while my darling blushed and buried her head in my chest. The news of my sore sweetheart spread quickly to the kitchen staff as well and the older lady cook laughed and cracked jokes at her expense for a while. As we were leaving, the old lady came out laughing with a small plastic bottle with a little oil in it and gave it to me while making crude signs with her hand and saying "use this oil if you put it in her buttocks."

That was the grand finale and my girl literally ran out to the car. Such a crazy fun bunch of people!

My girl was actually scared I was going to fuck her bottom that night. I treated her with a long lickjob until she orgasmed (her first oral climax)!

Unfortunately, I took the night flight out to Brussels!

What a fun bunch of people!

She was my driver's niece, 25 yr old, with a lovely body. She just came over and said that her uncle said that you want to see me.

I took her out for dinner and we had a fun night together. Very quiet and a little subdued but fun nevertheless.

Lovely firm boobs and bottom and a warm muffin.

Liberia is certainly amongst the easiest countries to get laid!

At least 10+ women returned my smiles and small talk positively but I didn't have the time to follow up with them.

Will be staying in Cape Hotel in the Mamba Point area. I heard there is a casino next door. Oceano? Does anyone know whether it's worth visiting. Any up to date information on the local club scene in and around Mamba Point will be greatly appreciated.

I heard there were big demonstrations this week. How is the security situation right now. Should I take any precautions when moving around at night.

Thanks for your advice!

I'm trying to get information on budget guesthouses in Liberia but I have not been able to find anything in the 15-30 $ range. No info here on the board and nothing on tripadvisor. Any recommendations?

With the exception of an e-book there also doesn't seem to be any travel guide for Liberia.

Liberia is one of the countries I researched. But accommodation prices are outrageous. I suspect its going to be cheaper outside Monrovia. I'd go to Robertsport. Prime surf spot. If I were you I'd go to Sierra Leone instead. Better developed. Go to sweet mothers guest house. The rooms should go for 30 $. WestAfrica in general is more expensive when it comes to accommodation. 20 $ and up a night minimum. And Liberia is a USDollar (pegged 1:100 to the Liberian Dollar) based economy versus Sierra Leone which has the basically worthless Leone as currency. I'll contact my intelligence network. I'll let you know if I find a cheap? Guesthouse. I guess the lowest you can go will be 50$...

My original plan was to take a cheap flight to Guinea Conakry and travel from there over land to Sierra Leone. But I will need a multiple entry visa for Guinea as I still have to catch my return flight in Conakry and the usual tourist visa is single entry. I phoned the Guinean embassy but the lady at the phone didn't seem to comprehend my questions so I'm going to visit the embassy in person to get the right answers. And anyhow I still would need another visa for Sierra Leone.

Then by accident I saw a flight from Royal Air Maroc from the center of Europe to Monrovia for 412 EUR. That's a bargain considering the fact Liberia is one of the more expensive flight destinations in Africa. But there are many possible reasons why one wouldn't want to visit Liberia. Housing is one of them and from what I read although not as bad as it used to be the security situation is not the best of West African countries. The police is pretty corrupt, there are many unknowns and not a single decent travel guide to be found.

That brings me to the elusive Bradt guide of 2015. Or they intended to but never printed the edition or they printed it in very small numbers. You can't find a copy of the book anywhere. I searched for the book through bookfinder maybe the best search engine to find a new or second hand book online. Not to be found. You can also not find a single review by a reader. Not even on any of the different international Amazon websites. Strangely enough, since 2016, the writer Anne Kennedy publishes an e-book guide on Liberia in her own name but not Bradt.

I have the Lonely Planet for West Africa. For budget housing it's useless.

Thanks for the info on horizonsunlimited. I didn't know the site. The search engine for housing / month was also interesting but as a newbie in a country I don't think I immediately would rent a place for a longer period of time. I would want to know for sure if I like a certain city and what area I would like to stay at.

I met a forum member in Conakry who did the overland route from Sierra Leone to Conakry and back: he likely can give you details.

As for Monrovia: there's no place on earth like it (an American colony! With antebellum cuisine on every menu. Really.) Anyone who says they travel does not want to miss this country — it is unique. The girls were exceptionally willing, accessible, and accommodating. A note of caution for guys who like to boss around and otherwise exploit the vulnerable: Liberians (male and female) do not take shit. Safety: no more unsafe than Angola. Costs for hostelry: I surely would not want to try to stay here on the cheap, but I'm no expert on low-budget travel. Guidebooks are absolutely useless for Liberia, at least maybe an edition of Uncle Neddy's the Dirtbag's Guide to Africa gets into print.

Connected on a popular dating site. Met up for a soda and a good conversation along the beach. When I casually asked her where she lives, she refused to tell me because I could be a serial killer. Few minutes later I joked that she could be a serial killer and (pointing at her very flat chest) actually a man dressed up as a woman. She acted offended and ran off. Only to come back 30 seconds later, take my hand, and put it under her skirt. "Check me" she said and I obliged. She gripped by arms and hugged me while my fingers explored every nook and cranny under her skirt and inside her knickers. Two minutes later, she was so wet that I could barely feel her pussy. We fucked in the afternoon and while she had the perfect bottom and loved doggy, she was just too wet and big for me. Its funny how skinny girls often have large pussies and plump chicas have the tightest ones.

There used to be direct government busses from Conakry to Freetown but they don't run anymore. You can now take a 7 places taxi from car park 'Bembeto' in Conakry to downtown Freetown.

I read a recent report from a traveller who crossed the land border from Guinea to Sierra Leone and got his Visa on arrival without any problem. This in contrast with a recent visit I made to the embassy of Sierra Leone over here. They where throwing all sorts of obstacles. I had my yellow fever certificate with me but that wasn't good enough. I should have made a copy. As if they don't have a copy machine in the embassy. Then I needed a letter of invitation and of course an email of my hotel confirming my stay. And a letter explaining why I wanted to visit Sierra Leone and a letter detailing my itinerary. On top of that they charge you 100 Euro when you can get a VOA for 80 USD. Sometimes you wonder if they really do want tourists to visit their country.

The girls were exceptionally willing, accessible, and accommodating...Safety: no more unsafe than Angola. Liberia is very high on my to do list. I haven't gone yet for the following reasons.

1) Liberia is one of the poorest countries on earth. The GDP per capita is lower than that of Somalia but the prices for accommodation are outrageous. However, I believe once on the ground one will be able to find something half decent at a decent price. I did find this place. The Liberian Beach Guesthouse 25 USD singles and 35 USD doubles. https://www.tripadvisor.co.nz/Hotel_Review-g293805-d10194936-Reviews-Liberian_Beach_Guest_House-Monrovia_Montserrado_County.html.

2) Flights where expensive until now but I saw recently that you can fly with Royal Air Maroc from Brussels with Air Maroc for 433 Euro. That's not too bad.

3) Safety but that is for a large part a subjective feeling in contrast with objective crime levels.

Guidebooks are absolutely useless for Liberia, at least maybe an edition of Uncle Neddy's the Dirtbag's Guide to Africa gets into print.I don't necessarily always agree with Neddy. I for instance have a different opinion on the Gambia. I was there 2 weeks before he wrote his damning report. But I have learned a lot from him and I still do today and if he ever does publish a guide I will be the first to buy a copy.

Was walking along Tropicana beach late in the morning when I saw a bunch of ladies in the lagoon on the other side. They waved me over and invited me to swim with them. When I explained that I didn't have my swimming trunks with me, they said, "no problem, just come". I undressed to my briefs and jumped in the somewhat cold water. They helped a little by splashing water on me. I warned them that I will have to punish them, and one of the beauties stuck her bottom out. The slap must have hurt because she vigorously rubbed her jiggly bottom while laughing away. We played around in the lagoon and three of the girls stuck to me while the others went away. The one with the spanked butt asked me who I liked and I said I liked all of them and I would love to get to know them better. The first one actually just fell on me and we were belly to belly playing in the water. Holding and sliding against each other was a first-time experience for me. And it was amazing. She noticed that I had a stiffy and the head was out of my briefs, and she pointed that out to her giggling friends. After an hour of full-on groping and sliding and rubbing and chatting, I settled in with Diana (in the photo). I fingered her with my right hand while my left hand was wedged deep between her bottom with one fingertip inside her rosebud. Her eyes rolled when she climaxed in the water and held on to me for what seemed like forever. As I lay on my back in the shallow water, she straddled me while casually chatting with her friends until I erupted between her butt cheeks. We hung out for almost three hours before I had to walk back to my hotel to get some water. I got her number and tried calling several times but it was switched off.

Spent two lazy afternoons at Bernard's beach. Never a dull moment there. Here's an incredibly bizarre experience that can happen only in Africa, and only in Liberia!

The standard protocol is to walk near the beach and smile at everyone. Liberians are gregarious people and will invite you over. Families, men, women, everyone. They will share their food and beer and you do the same. There are several natural pool formations at Bernard's beach which is more relaxing than being in the waves.

This 22 year old was with her older sister who waved me over and we hung out in the water and chatted for some time. The chubby older sister was all over me sliding and rubbing against me and getting the younger one to take our photos (not a fan but an effective way to get your bodies closer together and hold tight / grope). I was trying to get the younger sister to come in the water and so insisted that we take a photo of all three of us, and then a photo of me and the younger sister. When I tell the older sister this, she goes "ok, I will call my boyfriend" and sure enough she yells and this guy shows up and takes our photos. Go figure!

The BF was out chatting with some guy on the beach and then joined us in the water. Just what I wanted since I could now focus on the younger sister. We got comfortable very quickly and I cupped her little boobs the entire time that she sat in front of me in the water. She didn't mind me playing with her bottom but was uncomfortable with me touching her pussy. (She told me later that she was shy in front of her sister.) Funny enough, the older sister's BF tried to do the same (to his girl) and she just moved his hands away. And so this poor fellow was chatting with his GF from far and ogling at me as I was snuggled up with my girl lovingly cupping her boobs and playing with her nipples. Again, go figure! Everyone was happier still when I gave the BF some money to get beer for all of us.

Finally, around 6 pm, we got out of the water and the girls offered me their towel since I didn't have one. They picked up their bags and started walking towards the lagoon where there are some bushes for privacy. My girl just pulled my hand and said, "come". I took my clothes and walked over with the two sisters behind the bushes. The BF tried to follow but the older sister told him to just stay there! As soon as we were behind the bushes the girls looked around and seeing no one in eye shot just stripped naked and started wringing their clothes. I did exactly the same. The girls eyed me over and I did the same. The chubby one was pretty hairy and my girl had light stubble. The older sister tapped me gently just above my privates and did the same with her sister. "Naughty," she laughed and moved few feet away. I helped my girl dry up meticulously and she did the same. I don't think we missed any spot on each other's bodies. I pressed my dick against her belly but she gently rubbed my balls and said "no" and pointed to her sister. We dressed up and walked back to the beach where the unhappy BF was eagerly waiting for us. I avoided all eye contact with him; I know how painful it is to be snubbed like that. While I got their numbers, as always, they never worked and I was not able to reconnect in the last two days I had left. The older sister did return my call as I was on my way to the airport. Maybe next time. No sex. But who cares, it was a long fun afternoon.

On a side note, the Badoo quality was abysmal. In the past, I have pulled a couple of 7's and one 9 from Badoo. But this time, the pickings were slim. I met one 28 yr old lady at a beach in the city but she wasn't my types. She did give me a nice semi-public HJ on the beach (near CBD) though which was fun.

In Liberia and other West African countries, it is about being seen with a "wealthy" foreigner and with a white person. Whiteness is a social construct and there are shades of whiteness. I would get even more attention if I was whiter still.

Anyone on the ground at the moment?

Are things open? I'm contemplating a couple of weeks in Monrovia. Not a traveler to Liberia so no help there. I did look at visa's and tickets. I considered Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana and Gambia for my most recent foray though all but S Leone (Freetown) require physically shipping my passport to the consulate which I was not interested in. I did get an e-visa for Kenya (as I did with TZ), thinking MBA but flights were about 50% more expensive compared to flights into Dar, TZ for me; I ended up in Dar, again. Perhaps MBA later this year with no regrets as Dar is target rich.

I had also considered DKR, Senegal as no visa requirement but tickets were equally expensive with MBA and I am not a francophone, so there would be that. I received a return call from the Sierra Leone consulate that the caller assured me a visa would be issued on arrival; would definitely want to confirm that with the airline but Freetown would be a close pick behind MBA. FWIW.
